At the airport, Jane was waiting in the pick-up area.

"She's late," said Jane while checking her watch.

"Sorry about that, but I don't control the plane you know," said someone who had walked up to her.

"I know, Maura," said Jane as she looked up at her former partner.

"Then don't say that I'm late when it's not my fault, if I could have gotten in earlier I would have," said Maura as they headed out of the airport.

"Let's just change topics," said Jane.

"How has everyone been in the last year?" she asked.

"Good, Korsake is still running The Dirty Robber and we have solved several new cases that you definitely would have loved to have been part of," said Maura.

"Never did I think I would miss the cases," said Jane. They had reached her car by this point and Maura was putting her luggage in the back.

"Don't get much action as an instructor?" asked Maura.

"Not really," said Jane while getting into the driver's seat.

"Hey, aren't you forgetting something," said Maura, who had grabbed Jane's hand before she could start the car.

"Look at who can't hold herself back now," said Jane with a teasing smile.

"Jane," said Maura.

"After three years of dating all you have to do is say you want a kiss and I'll give you one," said Jane before kissing the other woman, placing her left hand on her right cheek as she did.

"It's still embarrassing, alright?" asked Maura who was blushing a little after they pulled apart.

"Maybe we should hold back then if you're too embarrassed," said Jane.

"Will you just stop teasing me and drive?" asked Maura whose blush grew even deeper by the minute.

"But it's so much fun to tease you," said Jane with a laugh while driving off.
