"KITT! What the hell is this thing?" Michael points to the passenger seat with a cage on top of it. Inside the cage is a spider - a large and hairy one. Michael, at first, didn't know it was a spider since the cage had a cover. His curiosity got the better of him. He lifts the cover and almost runs out of Kitt's cabin.

"Michael? It's a Theraphosa Blondi, commonly known as the Goliath Birdeater," Kitt said calmly. "It's the largest tarantula in the world."

Michael glares at the spider inside the cage, "Thanks, Mr. Encyclopedia, but what the hell is it doing here? And how did you get in possession of it?" He's terrified of spiders, specifically large ones, and this one fits the bill. "This cage better be secure." Michael had returned from a nearby house.

Michael and Kitt are currently on an assignment acting as protectors for a scientist's son. The scientist working for the Foundation suggested Michael and Kitt would be perfect for the job.

Kitt observes Michael, scanning his vital signs. "Michael, please relax. Your blood pressure is very high. Don't worry, this spider is harmless. I'm holding him for our client's son. We're bringing him to school to show his classmates. He had forgotten his notes and is currently retrieving them."

"Easy for you to say, Kitt. You're not the one who may have to catch him if he escapes from his cage." Michael shudders at the thought.

The boy is now within sight of both Michael and Kitt. He's fourteen years old and tall for his age. He also has an even-tempered personality rarely seen for one so young. "Hey, Kitt. Thanks for holding him for me. I'm sorry, Michael. I should have mentioned that I'm bringing Harry," the boy said happily. He's carrying a notebook along with the backpack on his back.

Michael looks incredulous, "You named your spider Harry? Isn't he hairy enough?"

"Really, Michael." Kitt's voice is disapproving.

Andrew is now laughing. "Hey, that's funny, Michael. Kitt, I'll take Harry now." He opens the passenger door, picks up the cage, and sits in the passenger seat. "Today is the last day you guys need to babysit me. My dad and I are heading back home after school."

"Our pleasure, Andrew. You take good care of Harry," Kitt said warmly and started his engine. "Ready when you are, Michael," added the computer.

Michael continues staring at the spider and thinks it's handsome. "Errr, does Harry bite?"

Andrew smiles while replying, "Usually, Goliaths are not very friendly, but Harry is used to being handled. For a spider, he's pretty easy going. Here, hold him." Before Michael could object, Andrew took him out of his cage and placed him in Michael's right hand. "I think he likes you."

Kitt continues observing Michael and scans him at the same time. The man's heart rate is much higher than usual. "Please, Michael, calm down. Hold still. Harry might pick up your fear." Harry crawls along Michael's arm but stops halfway up and settles down. "Better, your heart rate is slowing down, I agree with Andrew. I believe Harry likes you."

"Uh, this may sound stupid- does Harry like to be petted?" Michael is still staring at Harry, but the spider seems content to remain where he is. He lightly pets Harry and feels the hairs on the spider are soft.

"Harry loves to be petted as long as you're gentle. As I said before, Goliaths are not as friendly as other tarantulas. They can be skittish, but Harry seems to like the attention as long as you're not rough with him." Andrew is pleased Michael is calmer.

Michael continues to pet Harry, "I'm starting to like him. It's time to put Harry back in his cage. You don't want to be late for school."

Andrew carefully removes the still Harry from Michael's arm. "He's calm, Michael. He likes you."

Michael smiles and rolls his eyes, "Oh great, I'm friends with the hairy, Harry."

The rest of the trip to the school is uneventful. Kitt and Andrew are discussing where the boy got Harry in the first place, and Michael is driving. He glances at the cage occasionally and is no longer afraid of the spider. "You know, Harry, I'm going to miss you."

Andrew says his goodbyes to the pair before they leave. "Come by sometime, you two. Harry and I will love it if you do."

Michael waves goodbye, and Kitt honks his horn. "Sorry about earlier, Kitt. I was scared out of my mind when I first saw Harry. I have this fear of large spiders."

"I'm proud of you, Michael. You showed remarkable bravery despite your fear, but please, no more hairy Harry jokes!" Kitt said fondly.
