Hello and welcome back!
You guys have really blown my expectations out of the water, I mean I asked for 100 follows on My Ring Academia and you guys blew it out of the water in two days!
I'll be putting in double time on this fic so to those who are reading my RWBY and MHA fanfictions (SAS On Remnant) and (My Ring Academia) , you guys might need to wait for a bit.
I don't really got a lot to say I'm just really happy you guys are enjoying this, this is probably my most popular fanfic ever so imma put extra care into it.
Cheers and enjoy. :)
Shoutouts; The GOAT Yami Luna Kitsune is gonna beta read for me so expect some grammer improvements later on, and they'll pobably be one of the few who may know where the story will be headed in the near future.
Guest (You know who you are); Regarding Samara's powers. No. They're more supernatural rather than biological, so Aizawa's quirk won't work as well on her.
Guest (You know who you are); You're right about her understanding Toga, though Shigaraki is a whole other can of worms. But I will say that her and Toga will interact more once I introduce the two.
Guest (You know who you are); Thanks for the manga suggestion I'll try checking it out and implement some of it's spooky romance aspects into the story, and you're right about Yanagi and Komori being friends with her it seems obvious really. As for her friends in Class A, I was thinking she'd get along great with Tsuyu, Tokoyami, Sato, Koda, Mina and Toru. As to why she'd get along with them... you're gonna have to wait and see :)
Guest (You know who you are); There may be more supernatural elements but I want to hear some feedback since I was thinking of doing that at first but I just wanna make sure people will actually be okay with it. If people want more supernatural stuff I'll probably put three supernatural charecters into the story, but until then I'll see what people think of the idea.
Chapter Four: Discovered Secrets.
Shouta Aizawa was unhappy.
Most people wouldn't even be able to tell since his unhappy look was pretty similar to his default look, but then again he didn't really have many friends who'd even notice for that matter.
He'd just finished up writing the report regarding the inicident with Stain, in which three of his students were directly involved in the Hero Killers capture. Although Endeavor ended up taking credit for the capture, him and a select few knew what really went down that day.
But in order to protect the Heroes public image they decided to hide the fact that UA students were involved, 1A in particular since they were also recently attacked by the League of Villains not too long ago.
Shota sat tiredly in his car as he waited for traffic to clear up in front of him so he could continue to where he was going. He had gotten a call from one of his friends in the force who asked him to help them with a murder, he refused to say anything else urging that Aizawa should see for himself. So after he was done teaching for the day he immediatly made his way to his car.
'Reto isn't one to call me up for no reason. The case must be serious if he needed my help.' thought Aizawa. He had known detective Reto Kokonoe for a long time, ever since he had begun his career as an underground hero and Kokonoe began his time as a cop fresh out from the academy.
The two often worked together on different cases, involving villain attacks, homicide cases and murder. He would usually call Shota if the case required the supervision of a Hero to help oversee the proceedings, and vice versa when a case needed police assistance.
'Just finished writing that report and just when I was ready to head home to get some sleep I get pulled into something else, if there are any reports to be written I'm leaving all that on Reto.' groaned Aizawa internally.
After a few minutes of driving Aizawa arrived at the scene of the crime. There were several police cars parked at the car park of a supermarket as the police had taped up a section of the parking lot that led into an alleyway.
Exiting his car Aizawa made his way to the blocked off area. Since it was already afternoon and people were begining their commune back home, there were a few civillians standing around here and there trying to figure out what was happening. Aizawa ignored the few gathered people around as he approached one of the officers guarding the outer perimetre.
"Is detective Kokone here?" he asked, the officer responded with a nod as he lifted up the tape allowing Aizawa to pass through.
"Eraserhead right? Detective Kokonoe's down the alleyway, he's said to expect you and he also said to have you wear this." said the officer as he handed Aizawa a face mask.
Aizawa raised a brow at the mask before the officer shrugged, "I'm not sure why he wanted you to wear this, but appearently the crime scene is more bloody than expected and this is a safety regulation."
Without saying anything else Aizawa picked up the mask and wore it over his face before making his way down the alleyway. After a few minutes of walking and passing by several officers and paramedics that looked sick to their core, a few looking green as they hurried away from the crime scene.
Aizawa frowned as he finally arrived. Standing a few feet in front of his was a rather tall and built man with dusty brown hair. He wore a dark silver trench coat and simiarly colored fedora, he turned to look at Aizawa, his silver eyes wandering over the slouched Pro's form.
"'Bout time you got here." he grunted as he turned to face Aizawa, his hands in the pockets of his trench coat.
"Well, writing reports is a chore afterall. Just letting you know that any paperwork that will be done here, I'm going to dump them all on you." responded Aizawa tiredly.
Reto smiled at his friends tired tone before his face turned serious. "You might wanna make sure that masks filter is okay because you're not gonna like what you're gonna see... and smell." as Reto said this he reached into his pocket and pulled out a similar mask and wore it.
Aizawa only nodded as the two rounded the corner off the alley and headed to where the other officers were taking pictures of the crime scene and colloecting anything that they deemed as evidence.
As soon as Aizawa saw the state of the crime scene he was kind of grateful that Reto had wanted him to wear a mask. Most of the alley was painted red with blood covering a good portion of the walls and ground. But what was most notable was the body that seemed to be suspended midair at the very center of the alley.
Aizawa had seen many a brutal case in his time as an underground hero, some cases brutal and some downright disturbing. But even then, nothing would've prepared him for what he was seeing currently.
The body, if you could even call it that, was ripped apart as if someone forcefully ripped it into shreds. The bones were grinded and twisted into disgusting angles, the skin was completely non existent, leaving all the muscles, veins and arteries completely exposed. A metal pipe was stabbed through the chest leaving the body suspended mid air.
The body's arms and legs were bent into facing the wall and the chest was slashed open, with fresh dark red blood leaking from the open wound. The organs were also jumbled into a horrible mess on the inside. As if someone had picked up the person and shook them around like a shaker, affectively rearranging their insides. Grease and stomach juices were leaking continuously onto the ground underneath.
But what was the most disturbing to Aizawa was the fact that the persons head was placed into the hole in their chest, completely devoid of skin and flesh. Their mouth hung open in a disgusting look of horror and their eyes a milky white.
"... We have any idea who couldn've done this?" asked Aizawa after recovering from his initial shock.
Reto shrugged his shoulders helplessly, "No idea. We tried looking for any CCTV footage in the area, but we haven't come up with anything yet."
Narrowing his eyes Aizawa approached the body, making sure he didn't get any of the leaking blood on him. The paramedics were yet to arrive to safely remove the body and none of the officers wanted to approach the body. For good reason.
Standing infront of the body Aizawa stared intently at the area where the body was strung up.
'There doesn't seem to be any blood anywhere else except right here, which means whoever did this did it at a distance. Most likely at the entrance since there are no other points of access here.' analyzed Aizawa, taking a second to scan the surroundings to see if there was a striggle anywhere else.
"Find anything out?" asked Reto, he knew that if anyone could build up a soild lead it was Shouta. The man knew how to find the story of a crime scene.
"Whoever did this must've had a ranged quirk of some kind. It might've been an Emmiter quirk or a Mutation quirk, either some kind of telekenisis or extending limbs." Aizawa answered gesturing to the lack of blood anywhere else.
"Makes sense. The body seemed to have multiple bruises and bloodcloths along it, meaning they must've been manhandling them somehow." agreed Reto.
Suddenly Aizawa noticed a hole in the wall opposite of where the body was, and upon further inspection he realized that it was a bullet hole.
"Reto, do you mind using you're quirk to see if there are any bullets around?" asked Aizawa, turning to look back at the detective.
"Bullets? Sure I guess." Reto agreed, not entirely sure what Aizawa was getting at since he hadn't noticed the bullet hole.
Stretching his hand outward, the brown haired detective's right arm began to pull in the surrounding metal in a liquidized form toward him. His quirk; Liquid Metal allowed Reto to liquify and control any malleable metal he could get his hands on, allowing him to control and reshape the metal however he pleased.
Useful when you wanted to stop villains from firing guns and restraining them. Though the drawback of his quirk was that if he used it for too long or made large constructs with his quirk, he'd suffer from metal defficiency diseases such as anemia causing him to get sick and unable to use his quirk for an hour.
After a few seconds a small piece of liquid lead made it's way onto the tip of his pointer as he held it out for Aizawa to see.
"This is lead all right." confirmed Reto as he began to reform the bullet back into it's original shape, "And judging from it's size and texture I can safely say that this was fired from a SFX9 Subcompact, it's rarely used as often by bigtime villains but still pretty easy to acquire on the black market for your average crook."
"So there was only one bullet fired?" questioned Aizawa, scrutinizing the reformed lead bullet.
"More than likely. It looks like the attacker dodged the initial attack and made sure they couldn't fire again." he finished distastefully, taking a quick glance at the mutilated corpse before turning back quickly. "And there's no gun either, meaning either the attacker took the gun or disposed of it off site."
Aizawa grunted in agreement before an officer approached the two.
"Detective. Eraserhead. We managed to find some witnesses, they're by the parking lot waiting." the officer reported before hurriedly leaving.
Reto looked over at Aizawa before gesturing for him to go first. Without another word the two made their way towards the parking lot, with Reto placing the bullet in a plastic forensic bag for evidence.
Upon arriving the two spotted two people talking to one of the officers. One was an old man that seemed to be working at the supermarket nearby judging from his green and white appron that he wore, while the other was an older woman with blue hair, she appeared to have a Mutation quirk that caused her ears to resemble those of elves along with a pair of canines protruding from her mouth.
As soon as the officers questioning them noticed the two approaching they quickly guided the two to the pro hero and detective.
"Detective Kokonoe, these are the witnesses who said they were nearby and saw what happened." answered one of the officers.
"Good job, you guys take five. Me and Eraserhead will handle the witnesses from here." thanked Reto as the officers nodded before retreating.
Aizawa immeditaly went over to the old man while Reto began questioning the other woman.
"Sir, I understand that you may have some information regarding the incident that occured earlier?" asked Aizawa as he fished a small notebook from his pocket, ready to take any notes or descriptions.
The old storekeeper nodded, "I was by the entrance straigthening the shopping carts by the entrance when I noticed a commotion over here. There was a purse snatcher that was trying to rob a mother and her daugther."
Aizawa's eyes narrowed when he heard that, "Did you manage to catch a glimpse of the robber?"
"No. I was too far away to see him properly," Aizawa sighed internally before he continued, "... but from what I saw and heard it seemed that the two he tried robbing weren't fully complying with his demands, and he hit the mother across the face with his gun."
Aizawa quickly wrote down this piece of information.
"And then what happened?"
"Well... he ended up making a run for down that alley there." the old man said, gesturing to the alley behind them.
And what about the two he robbed?" aksed Aizawa, since those two might've seen what happened to the robber. He was now sure that whoever ended up dying in that alley was most likely the robber.
"Well they were doing their shopping in the store earlier and from what I recall the daughter must've given chase to the robber." said the old man, before his face took a sad look, "Shame such a thing happened to such nice folk, they were in such high spirits before leaving and now I'm not sure where they are."
"Do you happen to know what they look like?" asked Aizawa, deciding that he needed to find the daughther. Either she saw what happened... or she herself did that to the robber.
Either way, he needed to find them.
"Well, after seeing the mugging I went to call the police. And by the time I looked back the mother was gone, their car was missing too. I wasn't able to see when or where they went I'm afraid my eyes aren't what they used to be. But if you wanna know what they look you can check the CCTV footage in the store, anything to help you bring down that villain."
After listening to the old mans statement Aizawa thanked him before looking towards Reto who also seemed to be finished questioning the other woman, after having the officers guide the two out of the taped off area, Aizawa and Reto met up to exchange notes.
"So what did you get from Mr. Saiki?" questioned Reto as he leaned against the hood of one of the police cruisers.
"From what he told me our "mysterious" body was a robber that tried stealing from a mother and her daughter, and when they refused to comply to his demands quickly he struck the mother across the face, snatched her purse and escaped. The daughter chased after him into the alley and that's pretty much all he saw. He also said that their car was missing so most likely either the mother managed to recover enough to drive or the daughter drove." explained Aizawa, with Reto nodding.
"Same as mine then, I'll send a few officers to check the nearest hospitals incase they went to get treatment. Mrs. Korei also said that she along with several other woman were with the two victims in the store."
Aizawa raised a brow at this, before gesturing for Reto to continue. "She explained that they were helping the woman pick up items for her daughter, clothes, toiletries, you know girl stuff. And after that when she was leaving she saw the two getting robbed and called the police as well, she also doesn't know where the two went after that."
"Without anything else to go by we might as well check the CCTV footage of the parking lot. I got the green light from Mr. Saiki to check the supermarkets security feeds, so we might as well check those." grunted Aizawa to which Reto nodded in agreement.
"Lead the way then Eraser."
Inside the CCTV room the two began replaying footage from the last 6 hours. Upon relaying the footage from the supermarkets entrance, they spotted the two entering and after skipping through a few useless feeds and switching angles they managed to find the exact time stamp in which they left.
"Hm, the camera's near the front don't seem to have caught what happened." sighed Reto, "But atleast we could a positive ID on our victims."
Aizawa nodded as he zoomed the camera closer to the face of the two exiting women. The older woman, most likely the mother was a middle aged woman of a rather short stature and pudgy frame. She had familiar long green hair tied up into a bun and similarly colored eyes, Aizawa was sure she had seen that woman from somewhere but he couldn't quite place where.
'Might as well try and figure out who she is,' decided Aizawa as he turned his attention to the young girl beside her.
She looked to be around fifteen with pale white skin and surprisingly long hair, longer than his own. They were braided in a way that prevented her hair from pooling at her feet.
But there was something strange about the girl in the footage. Whereas the green haired woman could be seen rather clearly through the screen, the girls face was distorted and hard to see. Almost as if the camera was purposefully trying to censor her face.
'It could be the work of her quirk, some kind of electrical type that distorts nearby electrical appliances.' Aizawa mused inwardly, trying to find a reason why the camera's were distorting the girls face.
"So, what's the paln now?" asked Reto, breaking Aizawa from his musings.
Turning to face the detective Aizawa began to speak.
"Finding the mother may be easy since we could always use the DMV to track the car back to her, it's the girl I'm worried about."
Reto raised a brow in confusion, Aizawa sighed as he began to explain.
"Her face is seemingly censored on the camera's and whether that may have been accidental or purposeful, it doesn't excuse the fact that the girl may have either seen or done something to the murder victim. It's too early to tell but the sooner we find the mother the faster we find the girl."
"Do you really think for a second that that girl really did all that?" questioned Reto wriggling his fingers in a splatter motion whilst gesturing in the direction of the crime scene.
Aizawa's eyes narrowed in response, "You know just as well as I do how bad quirks can make crime even worse, and the lack of clear eyewitnesses and evidence doesn't really give us much to go along with. I'm just covering any and every angle, even ones most heroes wouldn't even consider."
Reto sighed, but he couldn't help but agree. Despite Aizawa's seemingly pessimistic and hardcore logical way of thinking, Reto was yet to lose faith in the man's judgement and deduction skills. If Aizawa thought the girl had a big role in this, then Reto would go along with it.
He knew most heroes would ignore the girl as a main factor in a crime like this but then again those were the heroes that were always in the spotlight, always vying for the publics attention and approval. They had yet to see what the hero underworld was really like, what underground heroes usually had to deal with. So until the day Aizawa was wrong ten times over about something, Reto would trust the man.
"Okay, I'll file a report regarding the identities of the two in the video. I'll contact you when I have a lead." agreed Reto with a firm nod.
Aizawa nodded in thanks as he opened the door and the two exited.
Whoever this mysterious girl was, he was determined to find out any and all information he could on her. He was a hero after all.
Meanwhile in the Midoriya residence...
Samara was scared. How could she not be!
She had just witnessed her Aunty Inko get pistol whipped in front of her, and after that it was just a blur of rage as she chased after the robber intent on making him suffer. It was only after she had mutilated and killed him that she realized what she had just done.
Not even a day in this new place and she had already killed someone. Make no mistake, she didn't feel an ounce of remorse or regret for what she did to that man in the alley he'd already sealed his fate the second he decided to rob them. She was instead worried about what would happen if Aunty Inko or Izuku found out about what she did.
Killing wasn't something that was new or foreign to her, but she knew that the mother and son would most likely not see killing the same way she does.
She was afraid that if they found out that they'd shune her and chase her out of their home out of fear that she might do the same to them.
That thought alone was enough to bring tears to the young girls eyes. Samara sat alone on the couch in the apartment living room, she had managed to bring both her, Inko, their shopping and their car back to the apartment before the authorities arrived.
How did she do it? You may be wondering, well she had just used her Black Psyche to drive the car back to the apartment whilst also using it to heal Inko's concussion. She had immeditaly went into overdrive upon returning to a collapsed Inko and using her powers she managed to avoid accidents as she rushed home.
And now here she was alone while Inko rested in her bedroom.
Wiping tears from her eyes she began to think on what to do. She knew that if Inko were to awakean she'd immeditaly question her on what happened and if what she did were to appear on the news it would be easy to connect the dots and figure out what she did.
"No... I have to make sure she and Izuku don't discover what I did..." whispered Samara to herself.
There was something she could do, but it was also a breach of trust on her end.
"I-I could just... maybe wipe that memory from Aunty Inko's mind, that way she won't even remember," muttered Samara to herself. "No! That would be like breaking her trust..."
'What would be better? Clearing Aunty Inko's memories and making sure things remain normal? Or, letting her wake up and question us on what happened and run the risk of losing the little peace we have?' whispered a dark voice at the back of Samara's mind.
"I-I-I don't know...?" responded Samara shakily, unsurprised to hear the dark voice speak to her.
This dark voice was another part of her, the more demonic, dark, and vengeful part. It wasn't like an alter ego on her part, but more of a secondary mind that existed side by side with her, Morgan.
Morgan scoffed, 'The answer should be obvious, just clear that particular memory and everything will be fine.'
"But wouldn't Aunty Inko-" began Samara before Morgan cut her off.
'If anything we'd be doing her a favor. That bastard ruined our day with Aunty Inko and not to mention he hurt her,' Morgans voice took a dangerously low tone as she recalled what happened to Inko, 'We let that bastard off the hook if you ask me, he deserved to suffer more for hurting Aunty Inko. And just think, if we remove that memory Aunty Inko won't have the slightest clue since she and that doctor think we just have telekenisis so they don't know the full scope of our abilities.'
"Well... I guess you're right." agreed Samara, nodding her head slowly as the idea of wiping Inko's memories was getting more and more appealing. "But what if someone finds out that we did it. Wiping Aunty Inko's memories would just make things worse if we're discovered."
Samara's doubts and worries came back but Morgan was quick to offer a solution.
'We'll just make sure nobody finds out,' Morgan began, 'We'll cover our tracks and stop anyone from finding out it was us and if anyone who isn't a friend gets too close, we can just get rid of them. Besides it wouldn't be the first time and that way we'll protect this life we have now and we'll make sure no one harms Aunty Inko or Izuku.'
Samara sat in silence for a bit before her eyes hardened with resolve and she stood from the couch.
"We'll do it. To protect the peace we have now, I'll kill anyone that gets in my way." stated Samara as her eyes turned white.
She marched toward Inko's room intent on fixing what happened today, she just hoped no one was dumb enough to try and investigate what happened. She'd hate to add another body to the pile.
'No matter what, I'll make sure nothing destroys this peace and I'll kill anyone who harms them.'
'No matter what, I'll make sure nothing destroys this peace and I'll kill anyone who harms them.'
Thought both minds at the same time. Little did they know they would cross paths with someone who was intent on uncovering the truth, sooner rather than later.
And that's a wrap.
Aizawa and Samara will have a bit of an altercation later but that's in the future.
I decided to give Samara another mind of sorts, Morgan which is her overprotective yandere side. Samara is your typical possesive yandere, not as extreme or violent as Morgan but still not someone you wanna be enemies with.
Sorry I haven't updated in a while I had exams and after that my dad had to use the computer for his own work, not to mention I didn't exactly have the money for internet but I'll try to deliver as many chapters as I can.
(A/N: Also please tell me if you guys want to see other horror charecter implemented into the story, such as Sadako, Hanako-Chan or Jason Vorhees?)
Love you all and thanks for the support, share with your friends and leave a review :)
