Bye bye! Here it is my Young Prince's Adventure-story's new chapter. See you in the next chapter.
Adrien woke up, and walked to the mouth of the cave, but stopped, when he lookes out, because everything is now the white.
"Mommy, look! Everything is white!" Adrien yelled which woke Rose up and then Rose walked to the mouth of the cave. "Everything looks really different now, than yesterday."
"Adrien, this is a snow," Rose said, looking at the ground.
"Snow?" Adrien asked.
"Yes. It's winter. Winter is the cold season, whereof I've been talking about to you for a while. Despite its coldness, winter is a really beautiful season," Rose left the cave with Adrien, and stopped in front of a tree, and looked at the one in the branch of the tree in front of him, transparent, and frozen water, which was frozen in a tree branch:
"Adrien, in the branches of those trees, what you see icy waters are icicles. Those icicles are actually water, which freezes in certain places in cold weather, because the weather has turned cold now."
"Really?" Adrien asked.
"Adrien must be one of the most curious fawns, that have ever lived in our forest," Rose looked at her son with a smile. "Of course. Look at the snow".
Adrien looked at the snow, and saw the snow shining in the light of the rising sun. Adrien had never seen anything like it, and curiously walked it to look at the glittering snow, leaving footprints in the snow at the same time.
Dhak! Snow suddenly fell on Adrien from a branch of a tree, but Adrien emerged from the snow, and then saw the footprints in the snow, which he had now left in the snow. Adrien lifted one of his front legs out of the snow, and saw, that his feet left footprints in the snow:
"Mom, what those are?"
"They are footprints. All the animals, in the same way, as humans, leave footprints in the snow, when they walk in the snow. When you look at footprints in the snow, so you know it, that what kind of animals have walked in the snow," Rose said.
"Footprints?" Adrien thought curiously, and walked forward with his mother, until they saw in the distance, a hole in a fallen tree trunk, which was quite close to the ground in front of them, and Adrien, and his mothers looked at it through the hole inside the tree trunk, and saw that the Scent was there.
Scent slept big, from the leaves of the trees, and on top of a pile of leaves made of flowers.
"Wake up, Scent!" Adrien shouted happy, when he to see his friend.
"Is it spring yet?" Scent asked, when he woke up after hearing Adrien scream.
"It's not spring yet. Winter has just begun. You are now in hibernation, I guess," Rose said with a smile.
"Yes," Scent said.
"Why are you hibernating?" Adrien asked.
"Like all flowers, so skunks also sleep throughout the winter, which is the skunk's way of surviving the winter. Huoh! So good night," Scent pulled her tail over her body, and fell asleep again.
"Come on, Adrien," Rose said, and then walked Adrien forward with.
Adrien followed his mother, and after a short walk they arrived at the shore of the frozen pond.
Adrien sat down by the pond, tapped the surface of the frozen lake with one front foot, and saw, that the ice was hard:
"Mom, the water is hard now".
"Adrien, the water surface of the pond is now frozen. Be careful, when moving on ice, for it may break at any time, if that ice is too thin," Rose said.
"Your mother is right, Adrien," Julius said as he came to the shore of the pond.
"Really? Then where can you drink water the winter during?" Adrien asked.
"In the forest there are still rivers, whose water is not frozen," Julius said.
"Everywhere is really quiet now," Adrien said, when he saw the thing in question.
"It is a result of, that some animals are now hibernating, and some animals have left the forest for the winter to warm areas, because those animals would inevitably not survive here in the winter. During the winter, some animals wander in our forest, and looking for food," Julius said.
Adrien looked at his father curiously.
"Morning, Adrien!" Robyn shouted, sliding along the ice of the lake, having fun.
"Morning, Robyn," Adrien smiled.
"Mom, what's it like in the winter?" Adrien asked.
"I already said, that there is really little food in the winter, and that during that time our deer must roam the forest for food. Adrian, winter is a cold season, and at that time the sun is only slightly visible during the day. I think, I already told you Adrian. I even told you so, that if you move in the forest in winter, so remember to watch out for the cold weather, and other dangerous things in the forest," Rose said.
"Yes mom," Adrien said. "Why do you say that? Because of that porcupine, which I saw earlier last summer, or because of the hunters?"
"They are not the only things, which you should watch out for, when in the forest. In winter it can happen, that dangerous animals can roam the forest, who chase other animals in the forest. You understand that, when you enough old. Now remember that, that i told you so, that each season has its own beauty," Rose looked, when just rained the snow glistened beautifully.
"I see, mom," Adrien said with a smile.
"Winter is really beautiful, so why is mom so worried about winter? Is it because of the cold?!" Adrien thought, as he looked at his parents.
Adrien thought, that the winter was beautiful season, like all seasons, so Adrien still didn't understand, why was Rose so worried about winter, or were Rose's just now the things you don't tell the only reason, why was Rose so worried about winter.
"What now, son?" Rose asked seeing her son thinking about something.
"I just don't understand, why are you so worried about winter, mom," Adrien told his mom.
"In winter, there is very little food during that time, when most female-deer can barely take care of themselves, let alone their fawns. i'm afraid, that if Tara's fawn is born this winter, so that they find Tara, and Tara's mother enough food for Tara, and Tara's fawn," Rose said.
"Really?" Adrien asked.
"Yes, Adrien," Julius said. "Your mother, and Tara have been friends since childhood, and they have often helped each other, if they have had problems, so it's no wonder, if your mother is worried about Tara. Your mother is also worried about you, because this is the first winter, which you see".
"Yes. I'm worried about, that you can walk with us, when we were looking for food in the forest in the winter," Rose told her son.
"I'm already a big boy, so you don't have to worry about it, what did you just say, mom," Adrien said.
"You don't have horns yet, so you're not quite yet so big boy, who you think you are," Rose said.
"Well, at what point do I get horns?" Adrien asked at the same time, as his ears dropped a little lower, because he was a little depressed about, what he had just heard.
"You get horns at some point, but it takes its own time," Julius told his son.
Adrien looked at his father.
"Rose, I heard recently that, that your friend Tara is not the only female-deer, who is right now waiting to give to her fawn birth. It can cause problems, if one of the females begins to give birth during that time, while we're out looking for food," Julius said.
"How so?" Adrien asked.
"Well, Adrien. I'll let you thence one example. As one, on a really cold winter night, when the deer-herd was looking for food in our forest, so happened one, very dangerous situation. At that time, a of deer-heard wandered in our forest, and that herd included one female-deer, whose fawn was to give birth at the same time, when the fawn's mother was looking for food like the other in her deer-herd, but when the female-deer finally found the bark of a tree, and ate the bark of that tree, like other deer, so that deer's fawn was born, when the fawn's mother, and the others deer had been on a feeding trip. But unfortunately, the of the fawn's birth's smell attracted the bear, that had woken up from hibernation, and that bear arrived there, where the newborn fawn was with her flock, but fortunately the of the newborn fawn's father, who was The Great Prince of the Forest, chased the bear I just mentioned away from the deer-herd, when it a bear had tried to attack a newborn fawn, and on that fawn's mother. When The Great Prince of the Forest had driven that bear away, so The Great Prince of the Forest, and his wives looked at their newborn fawn, and named their son Sirius," Julius said.
"Why was he named Sirius?" Adrien asked.
"I'll explain it sometime," Julius said.
"Okay, but what are bears?" Adrien asked.
"Bears, like wolvesare huge usually sleep in the winter throughout the winter, like skunks, and some other animals, but some bears wake up in the middle of hibernation, and it can cause bears eat fish, berries, andsmall onesbugs, which bears dig out from under rocks, but some bears may attack a deer, and some bears may even attack humans in search of food, which is why you should stay away from bears," Julius said. "But if you see bears, so you should walkaway from bears."
"I see," Adrien said, and trembled with fear at what he had just heard, though he still did not know it, that what the bears looked like. "Are there bears in our forest?"
"There are no bears in our forest. Bear, which I just told you about, had probably woken up in the middle of hibernation, and that bear had left his own forest to look for food, and that bear finally arrived in our forest," Julius. said. "However, before that bugs, which I just told you about, some animals had indeed been attacked by that bear, and that bear had even attacked a hunter."
Adrien calmed down a bit, and then smiled, as his ears perked up in excitement as Adrien listened to, what his father had just said.
