BTWF Bash at the Beach (Day 2 Part 2)
'Legacy' by Adelitas Way started playing through the speakers, causing the crowd to boo. Sting and Rogue came out with sunglasses, and hi-fived each other on the entrance stage, before walking down to the ring.
"The following contest is a tag team match, and it is for the BTWF World Tag Team Championships!" Tim Barr announced as Sting faked a hi-five with a couple of child fans before Sting and Rogue got on the top turnbuckle.
"Introducing the challengers first, from Magnolia, Fiore, Sting, and Rogue; the Legacy!" Tim Barr announced as Legacy jumped into the ring and continued to pose and celebrate in the ring as if they had already won the titles, much to the crowd's chagrin.
"Legacy seems very confident heading into their tag title match against the NWO," Cornette stated as the two men made their way into their corner to wait for the NWO (Naruto and Sheldon Lee).
"Well in some ways, you have to be confident when it comes to title matches," Okabe countered, before 'We Are One" by 12 Stones played through the speakers. The crowd gave a mixed reaction as Naruto and Sheldon Lee came to the entranceway, holding the BTWF World Tag Team Titles and raising them up over their heads as they walked towards the ring.
"And their opponents, representing the NWO, the BTWF World Tag Team Champions, Naruto and Sheldon Lee!" Tim Barr announced as the two made their way into the ring and started arguing with Sting and Rogue. The referee took both belts and raised them up in the air while the teams continued to argue.
"I have a feeling we're going to have an all-out brawl here for these championships," Beth explained, as the bell rang. Sting and Naruto went to the center of the ring and exchanged punches before Sting put Naruto in a headlock and started punching him in the head while squeezing his head. Naruto was able to push Sting off of him, but Sting dodged an attempted clothesline by Naruto and run the ropes to hit his own clothesline, sending Naruto down to the back.
"Strong start by Sting here, sending Naruto down with that strong clothesline," Cornette stated, as Sting put Naruto in the corner, and tagged Rogue into the match. The two rung Naruto's arms and punched him in the gut before hitting a double suplex onto Naruto before going for the pin.

Sting put Sheldon in a headlock, rubbing his forearm into Sheldon's face.
"Sheldon is in real trouble here!" Beth exclaimed as Sheldon attempted to fight out of the hold, but Sting wouldn't let go of the headlock.
"With his airflow restricted like this, Sheldon could lose consciousness very quickly and easily," Okabe explained, before Sheldon got back up to his feet and hit multiple punches to Sting's stomach, but Sting kneed Sheldon in the gut, and knelt down to hit a throat thrust before putting him in a front facelock and tagging Rogue back into the match. Sting slingshot Sheldon into Rogue, who hit Sheldon with a DDT before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
Sheldon was able to get his shoulder up, and Rogue responded by pulling Sheldon back up and hitting him with a sit-out spinebuster. Rogue ran the ropes and this time was able to successfully hit the jumping elbow drop. Rogue then grabbed both of Sheldon's legs and turned him around to put him in the Boston Crab.
"Rogue is now trying to break the back of Sheldon Lee!" Cornette exclaimed as Sheldon tried to crawl to the ropes. However, Rogue was able to put Sheldon back in the center of the ring, much to the chagrin of the crowd. Sheldon was able to get his stomach off the ground and tried again to crawl to the ropes. Sting dragged Sheldon back to the center of the ring before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
"Sheldon REALLY has to tag Naruto in soon, or else he may lose those titles for the NWO!" Okabe exclaimed, as Sting picked Sheldon up by the legs, and attempted another Alabama Slam, but Sheldon hit multiple bell claps to Sting's sides, allowing Sheldon to escape Sting's hold, and hit him with a DDT before crawling to Naruto again. Sting was holding his head in pain, and not attempting to move towards Rogue, before Naruto was tagged into the match, causing the crowd to give a mixed reaction.
"And we finally have Naruto back into this match!" Beth exclaimed as Naruto waited for Sting to get up before he ran at him with two clotheslines. Rogue attempted to come into the ring, but Naruto hit another clothesline sending Rogue crashing to the ringside. Naruto went after Sting with a sling blade and a standing shooting star press before picking Sting up and hitting him with a Michinoku Driver and going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
"Naruto picking up the pace of this match with all of these high impact maneuvers!" Cornette exclaimed as Naruto sent Sting into the corner before running into another corner and hit Sting with a rotating splash into the corner and throwing him out of the corner. Naruto went up to the 2nd rope, but Rogue interfered by grabbing his leg from the outside. Sheldon jumped out of his corner and ran underneath the bottom rope to hit a Heat Seeking Missile suicide dive onto Rogue, sending them both down.
"That was a nice move, obviously an inspiration from Jim Cornette's favorite wrestler, Austin Aries!" Beth exclaimed, chuckling a little bit as Cornette rolled his eyes.
"That was a great move by Sheldon but fuck that tiny turnip eating man!" Cornette responded as Sting hit a running enziguri onto Naruto but Naruto still stayed on the 2nd turnbuckle. Sting went onto the 2nd turnbuckle as well and hit Naruto with a superplex before going up to the top rope and hit him with a moonsault as well before going for the pin.

Ref: 1…2
Sheldon came into the ring and broke up the pin throwing Sting away from Naruto. However, Rogue came back into the ring and hit a clothesline onto Sheldon before throwing him out of the ring. Rogue picked up Naruto for a Powerbomb.
"We may have another big move from the Legacy!" Beth exclaimed as Sting grabbed Naruto's neck in a neckbreaker position. However, Naruto used his legs to kick Rogue in the face and push him away and got on his feet before throwing Sting into Rogue, causing their heads to collide. Ref: 1…2
Naruto kicked out and Rogue immediately got up and argued with the referee, insisting that they had gotten the three count. Sheldon was able to get up on the outside and drag Naruto out of the ring while Rogue was still arguing. Sting yelled at Rogue telling him that Naruto was out of the ring. Rogue took a look on the outside and ran the ropes to hit a suicide dive, but Sheldon moved him and Naruto out of the way, causing Rogue to hit the fan barricade.
"And Rogue just shot himself right into the fan barricade!" Beth exclaimed as Sheldon threw Rogue and Naruto back into the ring before going from behind Sting, and tripped him up sending him falling back first into the apron. Naruto gets up and puts an unconscious Rogue in a back suplex position, while Sheldon was climbing up to the top rope.
"And I think that may have spelled the end for the Legacy!" Cornette exclaimed as Sheldon dived off the top rope with a leg drop, hitting the War Machine's Fallout onto Rogue before going for a pin.

*Bell rings*
"Ladies and gentlemen, here are your winners and still the BTWF World Tag Team Champions; Naruto and Sheldon Lee!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd gave a mixed reaction when Sheldon took the titles from the referee and gave one of the titles to Naruto before rolling out of the ring, as Sting ran into the ring and attempted to attack the two.
"The NWO retained their championships in a hard-fought contest, but it took their toll," Okabe explained as Sting got into the referee's face as Sheldon and Naruto continued to make their way to the makeshift backstage area.
"Legacy looks like they still want those titles, and I don't think this loss has brought their championships aspirations down," Cornette explained, as Sting led Rogue out of the ring while he was yelling at some fans who were booing and laughing at them. The camera then panned to the interview area where Matt Striker was standing with Denki Kaminari, Kirishima, Eddy, and Gene Belcher.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with two of the Octane tag teams, discussing the tag team mini-tournament where the winners of these matches will be eligible to be selected for a tag team title shot at Cyber Sunday, and we're here to get their thoughts on the match," Striker explained before Kaminari responded.
"It's gonna be damn exciting, and we're gonna win the whole thing and become the new World Tag Team Champions! \" Kaminari exclaimed before Gene interrupted.
"Woah there, boy! Me and my main man Eddy are gonna be the ones jiving with those world tag titles!" Gene responded, leaving Kirishima and Kaminari confused.
"What…did he say?" Kirishima asked Kaminari. Both Kaminari and Matt Striker shrugged before Eddy started talking.
"What my partner is trying to say is that we're going to be the ones holding those tag team titles. And…if we have to go through you guys, then that's just what we're going to do," Eddy explained before Sting pushed Eddy and Striker out of his way with Rogue still hanging on his arm.
"Oh shut the hell up! You bunch of losers aren't going to win anything!" Sting yelled, still breathing heavily due to just having competed.
"Like you won a couple of minutes ago?" Kaminari quipped, causing the other wrestlers, and even Matt Striker, to chuckle.
"We ARE going to win those titles! This was just a bump in the road and if you idiots get in the way, we'll run through you like a Goddamn steamroller!" Sting yelled again before leading Rogue away from the group of wrestlers. The four wrestlers shrugged before shaking hands and leaving as the camera panned back to the ring.
"You heard that right folks, the next PPV will be Cyber Sunday, where fans will have the control!" Cornette exclaimed as Beth and Okabe nodded.
"I already downloaded the BTWF app so that I could vote!" Beth exclaimed, showing off the app on her phone.
"You mean you didn't have it on your phone before?" Cornette countered, before Gluttony Fang II started to play from the speakers, confusing both the crowds and the announcers.
"Wait…whose music is this?" Okabe asked as a man that nobody had seen in the company walked out of the back while the crowd cheered. . He was 6 foot 1, had brown hair, a slightly muscular build, green eyes, short parted brown hair, and was slightly tan. He was wearing a white short-sleeve button-up dress shirt, a black tie, black dress pants, and brown dress shoes. He had a microphone in hand as he entered the ring.
"Oh…I know who this is! That's Hazama Clover from S7W!" Beth exclaimed as Hazama looked around the beach, seeing the crowd still cheering him.
"Well we know who he is, but the question is what he's doing here," Cornette responded before Hazama brought the microphone to his mouth.
"Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Hazama Clover and as you all here in Virginia Beach are aware, this is the place I call home. It truly is a pleasure to have been invited out here by the BTWF as thanks for being able to reserve part of the beach for the show we have here tonight. I truly am honored as this turn of events is most. Intriguing." Before Hazama could continue, the Hollywood Hooligan came out, with expensive sunglasses, a black fur coat, and a smirk on his face, much to the crowd's chagrin.
"It looks like our resident Hollywood actor has a problem with this visitor from S7W," Okabe explained, as Hooligan grabbed the microphone from one of the ringside attendants.
"Oh, would you just shut the hell up already? Like…THIS is what our boss decides to put on PPV rather than me!? I'm a Hollywood celebrity, and one of the best wrestlers of this generation! And you are the one who gets the mic time and the adulation!?" Hooligan complained as Hazama looked at Hooligan with indifference.
"These fans are giving me the adulation as you say because I am a welcome face here. What have you done to warrant the same adulation? You were not the one to reserve an entire portion of the beach to put on this show because rest assured, you are no Oscar-winning actor that I'VE ever heard off. Certainly not an actor at the level to spend the large amount of money required to reserve a portion of any beach at the least."
"I've been in plenty of box office hits! Surely you've heard of the Killer Ice Cream Man!? Or the Land of Love!? I'm a leading man in both of those movies, and they made bank! And so did I!"
"Oh? Then, by all means, please do brag some more about yourself. Perhaps eventually you will say something of genuine value to this conversation because all I've heard are empty words built on inane thoughts of fancy."
"Well, you're pretty cocky for some independent scene nobody! I've been seen by people around the world, even in a few third world countries! Where have you been seen!? You act like you don't care and are completely relaxed, but I know that you're jealous of me and my success!" Hooligan gloated, much to the chagrin of the crowd. Hazama rolled his eyes before he responded.
"Why would I be jealous of another man's success? I've done well for myself all over the world. I've even won a few world championships in my time. I feel no need to be jealous when I happen to be content with where I am. Rest assured that I do care though. I truly do. I always care when people like to ride on their high horse and brag about themselves try to degrade the people around them. In my world, for a man to be better than another man, you must prove it in the ring. Not in the things you claim to do out of it." Hooligan responded by looking at the ground and chucking before looking back up at Hazama with a glare.
"Really!? *slap* You think you're better than me!? *Slap* you're a nobody! You're nothing compared to me!*slap*" Hooligan yelled, slapping Hazama in the face multiple times. Hazama looked back at Hooligan, who was still yelling in his face, with an icy glare.
"Are you certain that this is the course of action you wish to take? Absolutely certain? So certain that you'd wager your own life on it?" Hooligan responded to Hazama's question with another hard slap to the face.
"As you wish." Hazama nailed Hooligan with a stiff forearm to the face, stunning him. Hazama continued by getting Hooligan into position for a straightjacket DDT, connecting, sending Hooligan face-first to the mat. Hazama got to his feet and began taunting Hooligan, placing his right hand on his chin, resting his chin between his thumb and curled fingers. Hooligan was able to hit a low blow onto Hazama and starts punching and kneeing him in the corner. Hooligan pulled Hazama out of the corner by his hair and attempted the Hollywood Glitz (Double Knee Jawbreaker).
Hazama jumped to flip out of the position over Hooligan's shoulder. Hazama grabbed both of Hooligan's arms, wrapping them across his body, and hit him with a straightjacket suplex. Hazama rolled Hooligan onto his stomach and began connecting with multiple stomps to the back of Hooligan's head. He then lifted Hooligan into a kneeling position, walked behind him and ran back to Hooligan, nailing him with a superkick to the back of the head, causing Hooligan's face to hit the canvas with great force. Hazama grabbed a microphone and crouched down, looking at Hooligan.
"I gave you a warning. You didn't listen. Now you feel the sting of the Serpent's Infernal Rapture. How intriguing," Hazama said, as he dropped the microphone next to Hooligan's unconscious body and left the ring with the crowd's cheers following him.
"Well folks, if you want to see action like what Hazama just did to the Hollywood Hooligan, you can tune in to S7W every Tuesday!" Cornette plugged as ringside personnel went into the ring and checked on Hooligan.
"Let's just hope that this doesn't hurt Hooligan's movie career," Okabe stated, as two ringside personnel walked Hooligan to the back as he was starting to wake up.
"You can't hurt something that doesn't exist," Beth responded, as the camera panned to the entranceway, with Justin Gabriel's 'Fear Nothing' theme song played out of the speakers, much to the crowd's delight.
"But we have to switch gears now, as we have a Women's title match coming up right now!" Okabe exclaimed, as Zia Simpson got onto the stage, and started playing an air guitar solo, with some members of the crowd doing the same thing as they cheered her coming to the ring.
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the BTWF World Women's Championship! Introducing the challenger, from Springfield Illinois, the Woman that Gravity Forgot; Zia Simpson!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd cheered Zia running into the ring and going up to the top rope.
"Two friends going after the same championship! A classic recipe for a classic match!" Cornette exclaimed as Zia continued her air guitar solo before her song ended and 'Shatter Me' by Lzzy Hale and Lindsey Sterling played. The crowd continued to cheer as Rei Ayanami appeared in her traditional sky blue robe with the BTWF World Women's Championship around her waist.
"And her opponent, from Tokyo Japan, she is the BTWF World Women's Champion, Rei Ayanami!" Tim Barr announced as Zia nodded and applauded Rei as she walked to the ring, hi-fiving several fans with their arms outstretched.
"Despite the match being mere moments away, Zia and Rei seem to still be on good terms," Beth commented, as Rei went into the ring and shook Zia's hand, before taking the Women's title off of her waist and gave it to the referee.
"We'll see how long that lasts once the bell rings," Okabe countered before the bell rang. Zia and Rei shook each other's hand again before locking up in the center of the ring. Zia was able to push Rei into the corner. When the referee told Zia to let go, she broke the hold cleanly. Rei got out of the corner, and the two locked up again, with Zia able to win this grapple with a headlock takedown. Rei was able to break out of the headlock and put Zia in an armlock. Zia was able to get on her feet and escape the armlock to put her own armlock on Rei. Rei, still on her feet, pushed Zia against the ropes, and Irish whipped her off. When Zia rebounded off the ropes, Rei attempted a headscissors, but rather than fall on her back, Zia was able to land on her feet from the headscissors. When Rei saw this, Zia smirked at her and played a brief air guitar riff at her.
"Looks like things are getting a little competitive here," Cornette stated, as Rei applauded Zia before putting Zia in a headlock. Rei tried to take her down, but Zia was able to counter with a back suplex, sending Rei crashing down to the mat back first. Zia ran the ropes and attempted a Shooting Star Press, but Rei was able to roll out of the way, but Zia stopped herself from hitting the mat. Rei picked Zia up and hit her with several chops to the chest, before running the ropes. Rei's attempt at a 2nd Hurricanrana was countered into a Tilt a Whirl backbreaker attempt by Zia. However, Rei was able to escape the backbreaker and stand up in front of Zia and bow in front of her, causing the crowd to stand up and clap for both women.
"If I weren't supposed to call this match I would be standing and applauding this match too!" Beth exclaimed as Zia was able to hit a spin-kick on Rei and hit her with a vertical suplex. Rei was able to get up on her own when Zia tried to pick her up and hit her with a scoop slam. Rei then grabbed her legs and attempted to lock her in a Sharpshooter, but Zia pushed her into the ropes. When Rei held on to the ropes, Zia ran at her with an uppercut before Irish whipping her and catching her with a back elbow. Zia ran the ropes attempting another move, but Rei was able to dodge and hit her with several European Uppercuts.
"Neither woman has been able to get the advantage in this match!" Cornette exclaimed in surprise, as Rei put Zia in position for a suplex, but Zia held on to the ropes and hit him with multiple elbows to the chest before pushing her off and attempting a kick to the head, but Rei ducked, and clotheslined Zia out of the ring, before running the ropes and attempting a suicide dive. However, Zia was able to catch her mid-dive in a suplex position, causing the crowd to erupt into a fit of cheers at the feat of strength from Zia.
"WOW! That is some impressive strength by Zia!" Okabe exclaimed as Zia attempted a Brainbuster into the ringside area, but Rei was able to counter by slipping out of the hold and pushed Zia into the steel steps ribs first.
"I think that Rei may have finally taken control of this match!" Beth exclaimed as Rei threw Zia back into the ring, and went on the apron to hit a Tope Con Hilo on Zia's ribs before going for a pin.
Ref: 1…
Rei picked Zia up and put her in the corner before hitting her with multiple knife edge chops, kicks to the rib and Irish whipped her into another corner and ran into that corner with a dropkick to Zia's mouth. Rei ran back to that corner and hit another dropkick this time to Zia's chest before hitting her with a neckbreaker and going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
Zia kicked out and Rei responded by grabbing the top rope and using them to get height when she stomped on Zia's chest, before putting Zia in the center of the ring and running the ropes to hit her with a senton to the chest, before going for another pin.
Ref: 1…2
"Rei has taken control of this match, showing Zia why she is the BTWF World Women's champion," Cornette explained as Rei wrapped her legs around Zia's chest for a bodyscissors and started squeezing. Zia starts elbowing Rei in the face, but Rei started elbowing Zia in the face before squeezing her chest even harder. Zia started dragging herself to the ropes, but before she could reach the ropes, Rei let go of the bodyscissors and hit her with a leg drop across the throat before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
"Rei showing her years of wrestling, which is her one major advantage against an athlete like Zia Simpson," Okabe explained, as Rei picked Zia up and hit her with a backbreaker and gutbuster combination before leaving Zia on all fours and ran the ropes to hit a double stomp to Zia's back and ran the rope to hit a dropkick to the side of Zia's head. While all this was going on, the crowd was chanting for both women.
"Rei bouncing around the ring here, possibly trying to rival Zia's trademark speed!" Beth exclaimed as Rei went for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
Zia kicked out and Rei looked at Zia with a raised eyebrow before grabbing Zia and putting her in the camel clutch. Zia tried to make it to the ropes by crawling over there and reaching with her right arm, but this time, Rei was able to grab her right arm and put it back in position for the Camel Clutch. Rei then stretched herself back, causing Zia even more pain on her back and neck.
"Zia may be in dire pain and having her neck and spine bending, but she is showing a lot of resilience not tapping out to this unique form of the Camel Clutch," Okabe explained, as Zia started breathing heavier than normal and started getting back up to her feet. Rei, looking shocked, attempting to club her face again. However, Zia didn't seem to be affected by her strikes and grabbed both of Rei's arms to throw her off. Zia then hit a dropkick to the back of Rei's head, causing them both to fall to the mat. While both women were trying to regain their energy, the crowd was cheering and chanting for both women.
"Zia may have gotten the opportunity for a reprieve that she needs!" Cornette exclaimed as Rei was able to get to her feet first while Zia was still down on her back. Rei ran the ropes and springboarded off of the 2nd rope to hit a moonsault, but Zia got her knees up to counter it. This gave Zia more time to get back to her feet using the ropes to her right. When Rei got up from the knees to the gut, Zia hit three clotheslines, a knee strike to the face, a Straight Jacket Neckbreaker followed by a Straight Jacked DDT, concluding with a Straight Jacket Sit-Out Powerbomb before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
Zia dead-lifted Rei from the ground and hit her with another Powerbomb before running the ropes and hitting her with a corkscrew standing moonsault, before hitting a regular standing moonsault, causing the crowd to cheer, onto Rei before going for another pin.
Ref: 1…2
"Zia is finally getting an advantage in this match!" Beth exclaimed, as Zia picked Rei up and put her in a Powerslam position and attempted to hit her with a Lawn Dart into the corner. However, Rei was able to slip out of Zia's hold, pushing her into the top turnbuckle head first, before Rei turned Zia around, grabbed her arms, and hit her with the Wing Clipper before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
Zia kicked out, but Rei immediately grabbed her arms again and locked Zia in a reverse full nelson.
"And Rei may have permanently snuffed out Zia's championship aspirations with this reverse full nelson!" Okabe exclaimed as Rei started squeezing with all her might to make Zia either tap out or pass out. However, Zia was once again able to get to her feet. Zia ran to the corner, ramming Rei's back into the corner, before going to another corner and doing the same thing. However, Rei continued to keep the reverse full nelson on. But Zia was not giving up, as she punched Rei in the sides multiple times. With Rei's hold on Zia loosened, Zia threw Rei off of her and out of the ring, causing Rei's head to hit the apron of the ring.
"OUCH! It looks like Rei may have been knocked unconscious!" Cornette exclaimed. Zia looked shocked at herself for what she did, but when Rei started standing back up, she ran the ropes and dived over the ropes to the outside with a corkscrew shooting star press, sending her down to the floor causing the crowd to cheer and chant for Zia.
"Zia looked sorry for what she did to Rei for a second, but she remembered that she has a championship match with a top athlete like Rei that she wants to win," Okabe narrated before Zia threw Rei back into the ring, and hit her with a springboard 450 splash before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
Zia picked Rei up and threw her into the corner before running the ropes and hit her with multiple European uppercuts before running into the corner and hitting a running shoulder thrust into Rei's abdomen before picking Rei up and putting her on the top rope. Zia went up to the top rope as well and attempted a hurricanrana from the top rope. However, Rei was able to hang on to the top rope, causing Zia to fall down to the mat. When Rei was able to regain her balance on the top rope, she dived off of the top rope and hit Zia with them Light From Above (Frog Splash) onto her before going for a pin.
Ref: 1…2..
Zia was able to place her foot on the ropes at the last possible millisecond, breaking the count.
"That is good ring awareness by Zia," Beth stated, as Rei ran a hand through her hair before moving Zia to the center of the ring and went back up to the top rope. Rei dived off the top rope with another Light From Above (Frog Splash). However, Zia was able to get her knees up, before grabbing both of Rei's arms and locking her back in the Rings of Saturn.
"And Zia is continuing to show off the amazing ring awareness for someone so young in the business," Cornette explained, as Zia rolled Rei into the middle of the ring and continued to squeeze. Rei was able to roll her way to the ropes, grabbing the ropes with her feet so that the referee could tell Zia to let go of the Rings of Saturn. Zia let go, but picked Rei up with a grip on her arms and hit her with a Tiger suplex before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
Rei was able to kick out and barely get back on her feet, and Zia attempted to hit her with a forearm, but Rei was able to block the strike, kick her in the gut, and hit her with two of the three vertical suplexes. However, Zia was able to counter the third vertical suplex into a Falcon Arrow, and immediately went to the top rope and dived at Rei with the Blue Arrow (Red Arrow), but Rei was able to roll out of the way, causing Zia to fall on the canvas face first.
"Zia missed her Blue Arrow (Red Arrow)! This could be what Rei needed to finally win!" Okabe exclaimed, as Rei used the ropes to help get back up to her feet. Rei grabbed Zia from behind, and hit her with the Redemption (Cross Rhodes), before going up the top rope once again.
"And Rei may be thinking that third time's the charm!" Cornette exclaimed as Rei got to the top rope, and with the fans cheering for her, dived off to hit the Light From Above (Frog Splash) onto Zia before going for the pin.

"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner and still the BTWF World Women's Champion, Rei Ayanami!" Tim Barr announced, as the crowd cheered Rei grabbing her championship from the referee and holding it over the head with the crowd cheering her on.
"This friendly competition definitely got heated, but Rei was able to show Zia why she is the BTWF World Women's Champion!" Okabe exclaimed, as Rei went over to Zia to see if she was OK.
"And despite how heated it got, Rei and Zia are still friends," Beth continued, as Rei helped Zia back to her feet, and raised her hand in respect as the crowd gave the both of them a standing ovation. However, neither of them were able to celebrate for long, as Akira Hayami came through the crowd and knocked both women down with a spear.
"OH MY GOD! IT'S AKIRA HAYAMI!" Cornette yelled, as Akira threw both Rei and Zia into the corner and hit them with multiple shoulder thrusts and punches. With the crowd booing Akira's attack on the two fan favorites, Akira smirked at them and picked both women up in a Fireman's Carry Position.
"AND SHE LOOKS TO BE MAKING A BIG STATEMENT!" Okabe yelled as Akira looked at the booing crowd, before dropping both Rei and Zia with a double Spotlighter (F-5).
"A DOUBLE SPOTLIGHTER! ONTO BOTH CHALLENGER AND CHAMPION!" Beth yelled, as Akira knelt down and took the BTWF World Women's title belt, raised it over her head, and walked to the back, much to the crowd's chagrin.
"Well it looks like the Women's division on Octane got its spotlight back," Cornette explained as the referee came in to check on both Rei and Zia and lead them out of the ring.
"As if our Women's division needed another shot in the arm," Okabe joked before the camera panned to the trainer's room, where Pete Corvus was being looked over by a doctor, before Tsubaki came in through the door, causing Pete to smile.
"Hey," Pete greeted, tapping on the available space on the checkout table next to him. Tsubaki willingly sat next to him.
