BTWF Bash at the Beach (Day 2 Part 3)
'Devil that You Don't Know' by Tiger Army played and the crowd cheered as Sam Simpson marched down to the ring with a glare full of intent on her face. Sam didn't bother to hi-five any of the fans, as she rolled into the ring and went into the corner to wait for Clover and Jerry.
"Sam has murderous intent in her eyes tonight, and for very good reason," Cornette explained, as Sam started shadow boxing in the ring while the crowd continued to cheer.
"This is what she's wanted since Clover betrayed the Totally Spies; revenge!" Beth exclaimed before the second version of Cody Rhodes' Smoke and Mirrors theme song started playing through the speakers, as the crowd started to boo before Jerry walked out, with a finger over his mouth, telling the crowd to quiet down. Clover came to the stage and turned to the TitanTron, which turned into a mirror.
"And her opponent, accompanied by Jerry Lewis, from Beverly Hills, California by way of Sainte-Mere-Eglise, France; Clover Lamoreaux!" Tim Barr announced as Clover checked her makeup and hair in the TitanTron mirror, causing the crowd to boo even louder.
"Clover REALLY needs to focus less on her looks and more on her enraged opponent in the ring," Okabe stated, as Clover finally turned her attention back to the ring, and she started walking to the ring with Jerry in tow.
"I don't think Clover really grasps how furious Sam is right now," Beth stated as Clover rolled into the ring with Jerry applauding her while the crowd continued to boo her. However, once the bell rang, Clover went into the ropes, telling the referee to back Sam away from her. The crowd booed as the referee backed Sam into a corner before Clover got back into the ring. When she did, Sam ran at Clover, but Clover left the ring and once again told the referee to back Sam off of her. The crowd booed while Clover started talking to Jerry about strategy for the match.
"I don't think Clover realizes how angry she's making Sam," Okabe stated, as Clover got back onto the ring apron.
"As if Sam wasn't already angry enough," Cornette responded, as Sam tried to run after Clover, but Clover jumped off the apron, causing the crowd to boo as Jerry ran to Clover and the two continued to discuss strategy. Sam, running her hand through her hair, ran the ropes and hit a suicide dive to the back of Clover, sending her face-first into the fan barricade, much to the crowd's delight as the chanted Sam's name before she mounted Clover and started punching her in the face.
"And Sam is done waiting!" Beth exclaimed before Sam got up and pushed Jerry down to the floor and throwing Clover back into the ring. Sam ran back into the ring and started punching Clover again before she started slamming the back of her head down onto the mat before getting up and roaring, much to the delight of the crowd. Sam picked Clover up and threw her into the corner and started elbowing her in the face before hitting her with a T-Bone suplex. Sam didn't bother going for the cover as she started stomping on Clover, before picking her up again. When she did, Clover was waiting for her with a thumb to the eye, before attempting to escape the ring. However, Sam grabbed Clover by the hair, keeping her legs in the ring while the rest of her body is still out on the apron.
"It looks like Sam isn't going to let Clover escape that easily!" Cornette exclaimed as Sam punched Clover in the face, sending her rocking in the ropes, creating a seesaw effect. Sam started punching her multiple times until Clover seesawed back up the 6th time, and Sam hit her in the face with a dropkick, sending Clover falling to the floor, causing the crowd to continue to cheer and chant Sam's name loudly. When Clover used the announcers' table to get back to her feet, Sam ran the ropes and hit another suicide dive to the back, and started smashing her head into the announcer's table before throwing her near the steel ring post.
"Sam's is completely mental here and I don't think Clover has an answer!" Beth exclaimed. Sam stomped over to Clover, who tried to beg her off and plead with her. Jerry ran up to Sam and tried to get her to leave Clover alone and with that brief distraction, Clover grabbed the top of Sam's tights, and threw her headfirst into the steel ring post, causing the crowd to boo.
"Well Clover proved you wrong, Beth," Okabe quipped before Clover threw Sam back into the ring and pinned her.

Sam kicked out and Clover started punching Sam in the face, causing a cut to open up on Sam's forehead. Clover put Sam into the corner and started stomping on her until Sam fell down to the bottom turnbuckle. Clover started choking Sam with her boot while Jerry was applauding and the crowd was booing and chanting 'Clover's a Slut!'Clover yelled at the crowd before she picked Sam up off the ground and slapped her in the face before hitting a scoop slam and going for the pin.

"Someone may have to stop this match soon, as Sam seems to be losing a lot of blood!" Cornette exclaimed as Clover started yelling at the referee.
Sam kicked out and Clover responded with a couple of stomps to Sam's head and picking her up to hit a back suplex and ran the ropes to hit a leg drop across the throat. Clover started slapping Sam in the face causing the crowd to boo her even more before running the ropes and hitting Sam, who had gotten up to a seated position, with a boot to the face and then hit a running elbow drop before going for another pin, shoving her forearm in Sam's face.

Sam kicked out and Clover responded by picking her up, hitting two punches to the face, a backhand to the side of the head, and a discus clothesline that sent Sam on his knees. Clover then deadlifted Sam off of the ground and hit her with a Sit-out Powerbomb.
"Who knew Clover was that strong!?" Okabe exclaimed as Clover pinned Sam again.
Ref: 1…2
"That sure was shocking, but people now know that Sam has loads of resilience!" Beth exclaimed as Sam got back to her knees and punches Clover in the face a couple of times, but Clover countered by kicking Sam in her bloody face multiple times. Clover tied Sam up in the ropes and started punching her in the face before the referee pushed Clover away. While Clover was distracting the referee, Jerry started choking Sam in the ropes, causing the crowd to boo.
"And Jerry is choking Sam behind the referee's back! That's just ridiculous!" Cornette exclaimed as Clover ran back at a still tied up Sam and hit her with a running knee to the face, picked her up in a suplex position, and dropped Sam on her knees with an End of Heartache before choking Sam with a foot on her throat.
"I think Clover is trying to give the same aggression she got at the beginning of this match," Okabe explained, as Clover picked Sam up and put her in a Crossface Chickenwing. Sam tried to wriggle his way out of the hold, but Clover bit Sam's ear to get her to stop. Clover also started yelling in Sam's ear that she was always the star of the Totally Spies. Sam started elbowing Clover in the ribs, which Clover responded to by letting go of the hold and slamming the back of Sam's head on her knee. Clover put Sam in a seated position and hit Sam with a running neck snap before going for another pin.
Ref: 1…2..
Sam barely rolled her shoulder out, causing Clover to get up and start yelling at the ref while the crowd was clapping and chanting for Sam. Jerry tried to quiet the crowd down as Clover picked Sam up and hit her with multiple backbreakers before hitting her with a reverse Gutwrench suplex sending her stomach first onto the canvas. Clover ran the ropes and hit a jumping double stomp onto the back of Sam before turning her around and going for another pin, with Jerry cheering her on.
Ref: 1…2
"That was an amazing combination of moves by the Fabulous One," Okabe stated, as Clover started pounding the mat in frustration with the referee reaffirming that he only counted two.
"' The Fabulous One'? Is that her new nickname?" Beth asked, as Clover grabbed both of Sam's arms, wrapped them around her neck, and started pulling both of her arms back.
"That's what she and Jerry told me when I asked," Okabe responded, as Sam tried to turn her body around, but Clover responded with several knees to the head, before putting her back in the straight jacket hold including a knee to the back, which Jerry responded to by pounding the mat to encourage Clover. However, the crowd started clapping and chanting for Sam, encouraging her to get back onto her feet and headbutt Clover in the face multiple times. Clover hit an uppercut to the back of Sam's head, turned her around, and ran the ropes attempting a move. However, Sam was able to counter with a powerslam, much to the crowd's delight as Sam pinned Clover.
Ref: 1…2
Clover kicked out and attempted to pick Sam up, but Sam hit Clover with a jawbreaker and a straight right hand to the face, sending Clover down on her ass and allowing Sam to get her bearings back.
"I think Sam is finally able to get some momentum on her side!" Cornette exclaimed, as Clover started getting back up, and Sam hit her with two clotheslines, a running jumping clothesline, a running neckbreaker, a running flipping senton, and ran the ropes to hit a knee to Clover's face much to the delight of the crowd before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
Clover kicked out and Sam responded by grabbing Clover by her hair and punching her in the face repeatedly until the referee pulled Sam off. Sam hit a running elbow drop to the chest of Clover and started punching her again, picking her up just before the referee was going to pull her off again. Sam started punching Clover in the face again before Clover blocked a punch and hit a jawbreaker onto Sam and threw her into the corner. Clover attempted a running clothesline in the corner, but Sam was able to dodge and hit her with a Tornado DDT onto Clover before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2.
Clover kicked out, and Sam started stomping on Clover before Jerry got onto the apron and started yelling at Sam. Sam immediately turned to him and grabbed Jerry by his tie, while the crowd continued to cheer.
"It looks like Sam still has her problems with Jerry as well!" Okabe exclaimed as Jerry tried to slip his way out of Sam's grasp.
"And it looks like Sam's going to give Jerry a receipt much like she did to Clover!" Beth exclaimed as Sam started hitting forearms to Jerry's face, much to the crowd's delight. Sam hit Jerry with a backhand that sent him falling off of the apron, but this distraction allowed Clover to recover from Sam's attack, hit a running knee drop into Sam's back, and rolled her up, putting her foot on the middle ropes for extra leverage.
Ref: 1…2
The referee noticed Clover's feet on the ropes and broke the count to admonish her. Clover argued with the referee, which in turn allowed Sam to recover and hit Clover with a drop toe hold and locked her in a cross-face.
"Clover may tap out here with this devastating cross-face!" Cornette exclaimed as Clover tried to move to the ropes, but Sam rolled her and Clover to the center of the ring, while the crowd cheered and chanted for Clover to tap out. Clover took her fingers and jammed them into Sam's eyes, allowing Clover to roll Sam up from cross-face for a pin.
Ref: 1…2
Sam kicked out and escaped her own hold to kick Clover in the face before running the ropes and hitting a corkscrew senton onto Clover's gut before putting Clover into the corner. Sam punched Clover in the face multiple times before putting her on the top turnbuckle. Sam climbed up to the top rope and out Clover in a suplex position. However, Clover started punching Sam in the gut multiple times before pushing her off the top rope, causing the crowd to boo. While Sam was still standing, wiping some blood out of her eyes, Clover dived off of the top rope with a Molly Go Round and hit Sam with it before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2..
"Clover hit the Molly Go Round from the top rope, a homage to former WWE Women's Champion Molly Holly!" Cornette exclaimed as Sam kicked out of the hold, causing Clover to once again start pounding the mat in frustration. Clover picked Sam back up, kicked Sam in the gut, and attempted to hit her with a DDT. However, Sam punched Clover in the stomach multiple times before locking in Clover's arm and attempted to put Clover back in the cross-face. However, Clover grabbed Sam's hair and attempted to slam her to the mat, but Sam hit Clover with a Japanese arm drag and attempted to hit Clover with a dropkick. However, Clover was able to capture Sam's legs and attempted to lock her in a Sharpshooter. However, Sam was able to kick her way out of the hold, pushed Clover with her feet, and when Clover rebounded off of the ropes, Sam hit Clover with a flapjack before running the ropes and hitting a running dropkick to the side of Clover's face before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
Clover kicked out and Sam ran a hand through her hair in frustration, while the crowd was cheering for Sam and chanting 'This is Awesome!' Sam grabbed Clover's legs, and locked her in a legbar, causing Clover to start screaming in pain. She tried to make her way to the ropes, but Jerry pulled the referee out of the ring, causing the crowd to boo.
"What the hell is Jerry doing!?" Beth exclaimed as Jerry and the referee were arguing while Sam let go of the hold to try and get the attention of the referee back. However, while Sam was distracted, Clover reached into her tights and pulled out a pair of brass knuckles.
"Forget about what Jerry's doing; look at what Clover pulled out of her tights!" Cornette exclaimed as Clover hit Sam in the back of the knee with the brass knuckles before picking her up and hitting her with a Diamond Dallas Page style Pancake, causing Sam to land on her neck.
"OW!" Beth exclaimed, as Clover picked Sam up and hit her with a White Cyanide (Brainbuster) before going for the pin. The referee went back into the ring and counted the pin.

*Bell rings*
"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, Clover Lamoreaux!" Tim Barr announced as Jerry ran into the ring to raise Clover's hand in victory.
"This was GENIUS by Clover and Jerry! Using those brass knuckles to ensure the victory in this high profile PPV match!" Okabe congratulated, as Clover started yelling at the booing fans while Sam was clutching her neck in pain.
"For how she called herself better than the rest of the Totally Spies, it's a little funny that she decided to use a foreign object to help her beat Sam," Beth countered, as Clover smirked at Sam and pulled her up by the hair.
"Oh come on! What the hell is she doing now!?" Cornette asked, before Clover threw Sam out of the ring, and followed her out before she started dragging her to the steel entrance ramp. Clover picked her up in a suplex position as the fans chanted 'No!' at her. Jerry gave a thumbs down, which Clover responded to by hitting a White Cyanide (Brainbuster) onto the ramp.
"OH MY GOD! A Brainbuster onto the steel ramp by Clover!" Cornette exclaimed as Clover put her foot over Sam's face before posing much to the crowd's chagrin.
"Is there no low that Clover won't sink to?" Beth asked with lament and disappointment in her voice, as EMTs started coming from the makeshift backstage area on the beach and started to put Sam on a stretcher, along with putting a neck brace on her. Clover and Jerry made their way away from the crowd as the EMTs rolled Sam away from the PPV set and over to an ambulance before the camera panned to the interview area.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we just saw Clover possibly seriously injure Sam with that Brainbuster onto the steel ramp, but right now I have with me a woman who made just as big an impact when she came back and gave a Spotlighter (F-5) to two different women at once, one of them being the BTWF World Women's Champion Rei Ayanami!" Matt Striker exclaimed as Akira Hayami came into camera shot much to the crowd's cheers and boos.
"That's right! If it wasn't for that twerp Zoey Hanson, I would be the one fighting for the Women's championship. I mean look at her, she couldn't even get the #1 contendership for the World Women's Championship! If it were me, I would have not only gotten the contendership, but I would've won the championship, unlike Zia!" Akira exclaimed.
"So…are you still going after Zoey Hanson after what she did to you at WarZone?" Striker asked.
"I am done with her. For now. Right now, I'm going after the World Women's Championship," Akira responded, much calmer than she was only a minute ago, leaving the interview area before Striker could ask her another question. The camera panned back to the ringside area, where "We Are One" by 12 Stones played, causing the crowd to give a mixed reaction as Mercury Black cockily strutted his way out to the ring.
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the BTWF United States Championship! Introducing the challenger first, from Remnant, Mercury Black!" Tim Barr announced as Mercury faked a few high fives with the fans while the crowd continued to give him a mixed reaction.
"Mercury Black, in the short month he's been signed to the BTWF has made waves! Not only with being a surprise member of the NWO, but also going after the United States Champion Shinji Ikari!" Cornette exclaimed as Mercury Black springboarded his way into the ring before performing an AJ Styles taunt while the crowd continued to give a mixed reaction.
"And in that short month, he's made me think that he could beat Shinji and become the United States champion," Okabe stated, as 'Not Gonna Die' by Skillet played, causing the crowd to stand on their feet and cheer loudly as Shinji came out with the United States Championship around his waist and both his arms up.
"And his opponent, from Tokyo Japan, he is the BTWF United States Champion, Shinji Ikari!" Tim Barr announced, as Shinji rolled into the ring and took the United States title off of his waist and walked up to a smirking Mercury Black.
"You may have your opinions on this match Okabe, but Shinji is a wrestler that has made a career of defying expectations," Beth explained, as Shinji showed off the United States Championship by shoving it in Mercury's face. Mercury grabbed the championship and posed with it on the top rope.
"Mercury seems to already think that he's going to topple Shinji!" Cornette exclaimed, before the referee took the belt from Mercury, and ordered the bell to ring. Mercury and Shinji walked around the ring staring each other down, starting a feeling out process with the crowd cheering for Shinji the entire time, though some fans were also cheering Mercury. Shinji and Mercury finally locked up in the middle of the ring, and two stayed in a lockup until Mercury was able to push Shinji into the corner. Mercury released the hold, but immediately grabbed Shinji's arm. Mercury attempted an arm drag, but Shinji was able to stay on his feet and put Mercury in a headlock. Shinji attempted to put Mercury down on the ground, but Mercury countered with his own headlock was able to take Shinji down to the ground.
"Mercury able to outwrestle Shinji to start this matchup," Cornette explained, as Mercury continued to apply the pressure on the headlock. However, Shinji was able to escape the hold and lock Mercury back into a headlock, causing the crowd to cheer. Shinji kept Mercury on the ground, but he was able to escape and lock Shinji in a Fujiwara Armbar. When Shinji tried to crawl to the ropes, Mercury would take advantage of this by using the ropes for leverage. However, the referee caught him and demanded that he let go of the hold. At the count of 4, Mercury did let go of the hold but attempted to lock in a cross-face on Shinji, but Shinji would counter his attempt into a rollup.

Mercury got back onto his feet, and so did Shinji. The two stared at each other again, and Mercury hit several knife edge chops to Shinji, who responded with several right jabs to Mercury's face. Mercury attempted a jab of his own, but Shinji pushed the attempted strike away and hit him with a spin kick right to the gut before Irish whipping Mercury into the corner. However, when Shinji attempted to run into the corner, Mercury was able to dodge and roll up Shinji with a School Boy.
Ref: 1…
Shinji was able to kick out and hit a dropkick onto Mercury that sent him falling onto the apron. Shinji ran the ropes and hit a running knee to Mercury's face, sending him falling out onto the floor.
"Shinji has taken control of this match with multiple strong strikes!" Beth exclaimed as Mercury started groggily getting back to his feet, with the crowd cheering Shinji knowing what he was planning judging by the smirk on his face and him bouncing in the ring.
"And it looks like he's not done yet!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji ran the ropes and when Mercury made it back to his feet, he dived over the top rope and hit a springboard shooting star press on Mercury, sending him down to the crowd while the crowd was cheering.
"And Shinji with that amazing springboard maneuver to send Mercury down to the ground!" Okabe exclaimed before Shinji grabbed Mercury by the head and repeatedly slammed him into the fan barricade by the back of his head before throwing him back into the ring. Shinji then got back onto the apron, and hit a springboard leg drop onto Mercury's neck, before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
Mercury kicked out, and Shinji responded by propping him back up and Irish whipping him in the corner. Shinji then ran into the corner and hit a reverse elbow, followed by a CCS Enziguri, before hitting him with a Falcon Arrow.
"And Shinji with that impressive combination of moves!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji went for another pin, hooking both of Mercury's legs.
Ref: 1…2..
Mercury kicked out, and Shinji picked Mercury up again and attempted to throw him into the corner, but Mercury countered into the Irish whip that sent Shinji into the corner sternum first before Mercury picked Shinji up in an Argentine Backbreaker position, and hit him with an Argentine Powerbomb before running the ropes and hitting him with a knee drop on the face.
"I think Mercury may have finally gotten control of this match!" Beth exclaimed as Mercury picked Shinji up, and hit him with a Phenomenal Blitz that ended with Mercury hitting a hip toss onto Shinji before he ran the ropes and hit a running forearm to Shinji's face before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
Mercury mounted Shinji and punched him in the face multiple times until the referee pulled him off, but while he was being pulled off, he started stomping on Shinji's knee a few times.
"Those stomps to the knee might not go well for Shinji as this match goes on," Okabe explained, as Mercury grabbed Shinji by the hair and kneed him in the gut a couple of times before hitting a suplex onto Shinji. Mercury posed with both his arms outstretched while his foot was on Shinji's throat, causing the crowd to boo. Mercury then took his foot off of Shinji's chest and hit Shinji in the stomach with a jumping stomp, causing Shinji to come back in a seated position. Mercury ran the ropes and hit a shining wizard to Shinji's head before going for another pin.
Ref: 1…2
Mercury grabbed Shinji by the neck and locked him in a Dragon Sleeper in the middle of the ring. The crowd started clapping to get Shinji back onto his feet, and he eventually would. However, Mercury hit a Nightmare on Helms Street onto Shinji, causing the back of Shinji's head to hit him his knee. Mercury put Shinji into a chinlock that included a knee in the back. Shinji attempted to get back onto his feet, but Mercury countered with multiple forearms sending him back down onto his knees. Shinji, however, was able to stomp on Mercury's feet and hit elbows with Mercury and didn't stop until Mercury let go of him. Shinji ran the ropes attempting a running clothesline onto Mercury, but he was able to counter the move and hit a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker onto Shinji before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
"Mercury has only been in this company for a month, and he's dominating the United States Champion, Shinji Ikari!" Cornette exclaimed as Mercury grabbed Shinji's arms and locked him in an armbar.
"And he's been showing his submission prowess in this match with all these various submission holds!" Okabe agreed as Shinji was able to make his way to the ropes and grab the ropes with his free arm. Mercury, rather than give Shinji time to do something, Mercury started stomping on his shoulder and chest before picking him up and hitting him with a German Suplex before running the ropes and attempted a springboard splash. However, Shinji was able to put his knees up, countering the move and allowing him to get some reprieve.
"How we're at a stalemate with both men down!" Beth exclaimed, as Shinji started using the ropes to get up, but Mercury was able to get up first and attempt to punch Shinji in the face multiple times, but Shinji countered all of these punches with his own punches to the face and then hit multiple knees to the gut before pushing Mercury away from him and hitting him with a Sling Blade. The crowd cheered as Shinji ran the ropes and hit Mercury with a running senton before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
"Shinji really picking up the pace of this match!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji picked Mercury up, who countered with a jawbreaker, pushing him into a corner with his foot.
"And I think Mercury may have slowed the pace down again!" Okabe countered before Mercury ran into the corner. However, Shinji countered by putting his feet up causing his feet to hit Mercury in the face. Shinji then got out of the corner and hit a Fly to the Moon (Superkick) onto Mercury, causing the crowd to erupt into cheers, thinking that the match was over.
"Well, Shinji definitely slowed Mercury down with that Superkick!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji went for the pin.
Ref: 1…2..
"Well I don't know about the moon, but that Superkick by Shinji may have sent Mercury's teeth flying into the audience," Cornette joked, as Shinji picked Mercury up again and hit him with multiple forearms to the head, before Irish whipping him into the corner. Shinji ran the ropes and hit a knee to the face of Mercury before Irish whipping Mercury into a corner diagonal to the corner that Mercury was just in.
"Shinji dominating this match, showing Mercury why he is the United States Champion!" Beth explained as Shinji started clapping with the crowd to get them hyped up. However, while both the referee and Shinji weren't looking at him, Mercury took the turnbuckle pad off of the top turnbuckle and throwing it out of the ring, before pretending to sell again, causing the crowd to boo, with some of the younger fans trying to alert Shinji as to what was going on.
"Wait…I think that Mercury just took the turnbuckle pad off!" Beth exclaimed. When Shinji was done hyping up the crowd, he ran into the corner to hit another knee onto Mercury's face. However, Mercury ducked, causing his knee to hit the exposed steel turnbuckle.
"Well if Shinji didn't know, he sure as hell knows now!" Okabe exclaimed as Mercury pushed Shinji off of the corner and out of the ring. The crowd started booing as Mercury left the ring as well, and when Shinji got up while holding his knee, Mercury ran and hit a suicide dive DDT through the steel ring post a la Sami Zayn onto Shinji before grabbing his leg and repeatedly smashing it into the fan barricade.
"Mercury targeting the leg of Shinji, which will weaken him enough for the Calf Crusher, which Mercury has been bragging about!" Cornette exclaimed, as Mercury threw Shinji back into the ring and hit a springboard 450 Splash onto Shinji before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2..
Shinji kicked out and Mercury immediately got up and started stomping on the back of Shinji's knee, before hitting his leg with a DDT. Mercury dragged Shinji's to the ropes, and tied his right leg into the rope, causing the crowd to boo and chant 'No!'
"What does Mercury have planned for Shinji here?" Cornette asked as Mercury started stomping on Shinji's knee before the referee pulled Mercury away from Shinji. However, Mercury hit a basement dropkick to the back of Shinji's head before pulling Shinji out of the ropes and put Shinji in a figure 4 leg lock. Shinji tried to crawl his way to the ropes, but Mercury let go of the hold and stomps on his knee multiple times before locking him back in the Figure 4 Leg Lock. Shinji tried to crawl again, with the crowd cheering him on, but Mercury kept him still in the center of the ring.
"One of the most painful submission holds in wrestling could get Mercury his first title in the BTWF!" Okabe exclaimed as Shinji was finally able to get enough strength to crawl to the ropes and grab the ropes with both his hands, forcing Mercury to break the hold.
"We'll have to wait for Mercury's potential coronation, Okabe!" Cornette responded as Shinji pulled himself up using the ropes. Mercury got up and started kicking Shinji in the leg. However, Shinji started punching Mercury in the face in an attempt to counter Mercury's attacks, causing the crowd to cheer. However, Mercury was able to hit a backhand strike to Shinji's head, hit him with a shin breaker and then put him back on the ground with a Dragon Screw before hitting a Jackknife pin onto Shinji.
Ref: 1…2..
Shinji was able to roll his shoulder off of the mat and grabbed Shinji's legs before he started smashing it against the ring canvas before running the ropes and hitting a double stomp onto the side of Shinji's legs before he mounted Shinji to hit him with multiple forearms and punches before choking him. The referee once again pushed Mercury off of Shinji, and Mercury rushed up to the top turnbuckle to pose with his arms outstretched, causing most of the crowd to boo, with only a few people cheering. Shinji was able to get up, and when Mercury saw that, Mercury dived off of the top rope and hit a moonsault into a reverse DDT before going for another pin again.
Ref: 1…2
"Shinji is usually much faster than this, but the constant attacks to the leg by Mercury have definitely slowed him down," Okabe explained as Shinji once again rolled his shoulder off of the mat. Mercury started running his hand through his hair and glaring at the referee, who was making it clear that Shinji had kicked out. Mercury grabbed Shinji's right leg and dropped multiple elbows onto his leg before putting him in a legbar.
"And it looks like that Mercury isn't done targeting Shinji's leg!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji tried to crawl to the ropes again, but Mercury dragged him back to the center of the ring. Shinji looked as though he was going to tap out, but the fans clapping for him and chanting his name gave him enough strength to push himself up and start punching Mercury in the face, but this caused Mercury to only cinch in the hold even tighter. However, Shinji started pounding on Mercury's legs, which caused Mercury to loosen his grip on the hold, allowing Shinji to worm his way out of the hold.
"Shinji targeting Mercury's leg allowed Shinji to stay in this match!" Beth exclaimed as Mercury got back onto his feet and attempted to pick Shinji up to hit him with a suplex, but Shinji countered it into a small package.
Ref: 1…2
Mercury kicked out of the pin, but Shinji was back on his feet and hitting multiple forearms to Mercury's head, before hitting him with multiple knees to the face before picking him up for a Michinoku Driver before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
"Shinji taking momentum back in this match despite all the pain that his leg must be going through," Okabe explained as Mercury kicked out, but Shinji started getting back to his feet, much to the crowd's delight before hitting a standing moonsault before picking Mercury up again, and attempted to hit him with a Pedigree. However, Mercury was able to escape the Pedigree, push Shinji to the ground, and grab his right leg again. Mercury attempted to turn Shinji around on his stomach to lock him into a Boston Crab, but Shinji pushed Mercury off of him, allowing him to get back onto his feet. Mercury attempted to hit a running move onto Shinji, but Shinji was able to catch him in a Powerbomb position, much to the crowd's shock and delight.
"How the hell is Shinji able to do something like that with one functioning leg!?" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji ran into the corner, hitting Mercury with a Buckle Bomb before grabbing Mercury again and hitting him with a small package driver before going for the pin again.
Ref: 1…2
Shinji ran his hand through his hair, before going into the corner and climbing up to the 2nd turnbuckle, much to the crowd's delight.
"We know what Shinji is planning, but it may not be the best idea given the state of his leg," Beth explained, as Shinji was trying to balance himself on the top rope.
"This may hake his leg worse for wear," Okabe agreed, as Mercury was able to get back on his feet and meet Shinji on the 2nd rope, clubbing him in the back, before attempting to put him in a back suplex position. Shinji attempted to punch Mercury off of him, but Mercury raked Shinji's eyes before finally hitting the back suplex off the 2nd rope before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2.
Once Shinji rolled his shoulder out, Mercury immediately locked in the Calf Crusher onto Shinji, moving him to the center of the ring.
"AND THE CALF CRUSHER IS LOCKED IN!" Cornette yelled as Shinji started screaming in pain while the crowd was cheering him on.
"The United States Championship could change hands right here, giving another title to the NWO!" Okabe exclaimed, as Shinji started crawling to the ropes, but much slower than usual due to the excruciating pain in his right leg. Mercury only tightened his grip on the Calf Crusher, causing Shinji to take a brief break to muster up more strength.
"Shinji at this point HAS to make it to the ropes if he wants to hold on to his United States championship!" Beth exclaimed, as Shinji finally started crawling to the ropes again, and despite Mercury's tight hold on his leg, Shinji was able to make it to the ropes, causing the crowd to cheer and the referee to force Mercury to break the hold. However, Mercury was undeterred, as seeing Shinji struggling to stand, Mercury went to the apron and when Shinji got back to his feet, he hit a Phenomenal Forearm onto Shinji and pinned him.

"What does Mercury have to do to get the victory and the championship!?" Okabe asked, as Mercury pounded the mat in frustration and started arguing with the referee. Mercury then looked at Shinji and picked him up, his arms outstretched as the crowd booed him.
"Well…he has one more move that could get the job done," Cornette reminded his two broadcast colleagues, as Mercury put him in position for the Style Clash. However, Shinji was able to use his left leg to kick Mercury in the face multiple times, allowing Shinji to escape the Styles Clash attempt.
"How does Shinji still have this fight left in him!?" Beth asked as Shinji hit a Ghetto Blaster enziguri to the back of Mercury's head, sending him down to the ground before Shinji hit him with the Peace of Mind (Curb Stomp) before falling onto Mercury for the pin.

"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, and STILL the BTWF United States Champion, Shinji Ikari!" Tim Barr announced, as the crowd was out of their seats cheering Shinji, who was sitting in the ring while holding on to his right leg as the referee got his United States Championship from the ring attendant.
"Mercury put up a hell of a fight, but in the end, Shinji can leave Bash at the Beach with the BTWF United States Championship!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji took the United States championship from the referee as the fans continued cheering him.
"He may be limping out of Bash at the Beach, but he still has the United States championship in his possession and to a competitor like Shinji, that's all that matters," Okabe responded, as Shinji rolled out of the ring, and started hi-fiving fans on his way to the back.
"But Mercury is no loser after this match. He's definitely put his name on the map here in BTWF after this performance," Beth stated, as Mercury was still selling on the floor as the camera panned to the interview area, where Todd Grisham was standing.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, Mordecai!" Todd Grisham announced as Mordecai was shown in the camera, causing the crowd to cheer.
"Now Mordecai, you have a Falls Count Anywhere match with Ed on Octane. Do you have any final thoughts on that match?" Todd asked as Mordecai smiled at Todd. However, before he could answer, Ed came from behind him and pushed him into the wall before he started punching her in the face and the neck. Referees rushed to the scene to pull Ed off of Mordecai, as Ed started to stomp on Mordecai. The referees were able to pull him away, while Mordecai was on the floor, coughing while holding his head. The camera panned to the ring, as Damien Sandow's 'Hallelujah' theme song played and Kaworu Nagisa came out in a dark purple robe while the crowd was booing him.
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the BTWF Championship. Introducing the challenger, from Tokyo Japan, Kaworu Nagisa!" Tim Barr announced as Kaworu continued to make his way to the ring, glaring at the fans that were booing him before walking into the ring.
"Kaworu looks ready to take that BTWF Championship!" Okabe exclaimed as Kaworu continued to glare at the booing fans before going up to the 2nd rope, and posing with his arms crossed over his chest.
"After the bad blood has increased over the last month, I can't imagine that he and Natsu will be chain wrestling like Shinji and Mercury were during the last match," Beth guessed, as 'War' by the Sick Puppies played, as the crowd cheered and Natsu came out onto the entranceway with the BTWF Championship on his shoulder.
"And his opponent, from Magnolia Fiore, he is the BTWF Champion, Natsu Dragoneel!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd got off of their feet to cheer him as he ran into the ring, threw the title at the referee and ran at Kaworu with a running crossbody and multiple punches to the face. The referee gave the title to the ring attendant and told the timekeeper to ring the bell, officially starting the match.
"And Natsu has caused this match to start early!" Cornette exclaimed as Natsu continued to punch Kaworu in the face. Kaworu pushed Natsu off of him and went into the corner, but Natsu immediately ran into the corner and hit him with a running clothesline before punching him in the face more. The referee pulled Natsu out of the corner, allowing Kaworu to get back on his feet. Natsu Irish whipped Kaworu into the diagonal corner and ran at him with another running clothesline, hitting him with multiple elbows to the head, before hitting him with a vertical suplex, causing the crowd to cheer.
"Natsu showing off aggression against the man who has been giving him trouble for months!" Beth exclaimed, as Natsu hit a spinning leg drop onto Kaworu's throat before running the ropes and hitting multiple leg drops onto the neck of Kaworu before going for the pin.

"Kaworu hasn't been able to get a single hit on Natsu in this match," Okabe stated in shock, as Kaworu rolled out of the ring to escape Natsu.
"And if Natsu has his way, Kaworu won't be able to get a hit in," Cornette responded as Natsu ran the ropes and hit a baseball slide dropkick, sending Kaworu onto the floor. Natsu picked Kaworu up, and punched him several times in the face before hitting a Gourdbuster onto Kaworu onto the fan barricade, hanging him to hang off of the barricade with his head and upper chest still outside of the fan barricade. The referee was counting them out while Natsu was hi-fiving a couple of fans.

"And that frustration has added some extra spice to those punches to the face!" Cornette responded, as Kaworu went back onto Natsu and started elbowing him in the face before picking Natsu up and hitting him with a Russian Leg Sweep before yelling at the booing crowd. "Do you think that Natsu can still do his high flying despite the hurt neck?" Beth asked as Kaworu kneed a seated Natsu in the back.
"While Natsu will still be able to fly, the impact after those dives will not be good for his neck," Okabe responded, as Kaworu put Natsu in a chinlock while his knee was still on his back. Natsu tried to get back to his feet but Kaworu kicked the back of Natsu's knee and continued to tighten the grip in the chinlock. "Well, Kaworu tried, but Natsu has been able to get back momentum in this match!" Cornette exclaimed as Kaworu began to use the ropes to help him stand back up.
"Don't speak too soon, Jim. Kaworu could easily put a stop to Natsu's sudden burst of energy. After all, in wrestling it only takes a second to stop someone's momentum," Okabe responded before Natsu ran at Kaworu with two clotheslines, multiple kicks to the head, a jumping spin kick and a jumping body splash before going for a pin.
Ref: 1…2

Unfortunately, Kaworu locked in a bodyscissors onto Natsu and rolled him back to the center of the ring to continue wringing the full nelson causing the crowd to go back to booing Kaworu.
"And with the addition of the bodyscissors, that may come to reality sooner than you think," Okabe responded, as Natsu started elbowing Kaworu in the head, causing him to let go of the hold which the crowd cheered.
