BTWF New Horizons (Day 2 Part 4)
Mercury Black and Akira Hayami walked to the stage, but Jack Korpela came up next to them with a microphone in his hand.
"Excuse me, Mercury, Akira, I heard through the locker room that you had a meeting with Octane GMs Arthur Morgan and Tanya von Degurechaff. I was wondering what you two were talking about so soon to your championship match?" Korpela asked as Mercury took the microphone out of Korpela's hand before responding.
"You're right there, Jackie Boy. We talked with the bosses, and they were mad at us for what we did to their champions. And for 'punishment', they made our match coming up No Disqualifications," Mercury explained with a smirk on his face, surprising Jack Korpela.
"That's right Jackie, it's gonna be great, especially when I take the United States title to Intensity. That's right, as of right now, Mercury Black is not going to be a part of Enter Enterprises and will join my boy Bakugo on Intensity in the NWO," Mercury exclaimed. Mercury then turned to Akira and attempted to hi-five her, but Akira pushed his hand away and turned to the stage door.
"Just don't mess this up," Akira threatened as she walked to the stage door. The camera then panned to the stage as the lights in the arena turned dark as 'Ladies and Gentlemen' by Saliva played. The crowd booed as a spotlight appeared as Akira Hayami came out and stood under the spotlight as she glared at the booing crowd.
"The following contest is a No-Disqualification Mixed Tag Team Match scheduled for one fall, and is for both the BTWF United States Championship and the BTWF World Women's Championship! Introducing the challengers first, from the Asahi Ward in Yokohama, Japan, she is the Spotlight of the BTWF Women's Division, Akira Hayami!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd continued to boo while Akira marched to the ring while staying underneath the spotlight.
"As we heard, this match is now a No-Disqualifications match! That has to change the strategies of both teams going into this title match!" Beth exclaimed as Akira walked on the steel steps and walked into the ring through the middle rope. The crowd continued to boo as Akira climbed up to the top turnbuckle and stretched both her arms out as the spotlight disappeared, the arena lights came back on.
"I think this may have given Akira and Mercury more confidence heading into this match now that they can do what they want to in this match!" Okabe responded as 'MANTRA' by Bring Me The Horizon plays, causing the crowd to boo as Mercury came out of the back with a confident smirk on his face.
"And her partner, from Remnant, Mercury Black!" Tim Barr announced as Mercury walked to the ring with a cocky swagger as he strutted to the ring.
"Mercury is not coming out with the NWO theme song, and we didn't hear his name as a new member of Enter Enterprises. And we just heard Mercury basically confirm that he is not a part of Enter Enterprises," Okabe pointed out as Mercury rolled underneath the bottom rope and patted Akira on the back before prematurely celebrating.
"Mercury has been an ally of Bakugo since coming to the BTWF, so it was pretty obvious he wouldn't betray him," Beth responded as 'Shatter Me' by Lzzy Hale feat. Lindsey Sterling played, causing the crowd to cheer loudly as Rei Ayanami came out on the stage with her Charlotte Flair like light blue robe on.
"And introducing their opponents first, from Tokyo Japan, she is the BTWF World Women's Champion, Rei Ayanami!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd cheered while Rei took the Women's title off of her waist and lifted it over her head, as 'Not Gonna Die' by Skillet played, causing the crowd to explode as Shinji Ikari came running out of the back, knelt in front of Rei, and took the United States title off of around his waist.
"And her partner, from Tokyo Japan, he is the BTWF United States Champion, 'Undisputed' Shinji Ikari!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd continued to cheer as both Shinji and Rei lifted their titles as pyro went off in the back. Shinji stood up straight while Mercury and Akira looked on unimpressed.
"And here come the champions! And you have to believe that they are thankful for the No-Disqualification stipulation after the vicious attack Mercury and Akira perpetrated on Octane!" Cornette exclaimed as the crowd cheered loudly as Shinji and Rei shared a brief kiss on the stage before making their way to the ring.
"Rei's limping seems to have gone away, but you have to wonder how much energy she's exerting simply to hide the pain of this injury," Okabe noted as Shinji and Rei rolled into the ring and gave their championship belts to the referee as they and their challengers exchanged words in the middle of the ring while the referee handed the championships to the ring attendant.
"Rei and Shinji sharing some not so nice words with their challengers before the match, and you really can't blame them," Beth explained as the referee told the timekeeper to ring the bell. The crowd cheered as Shinji ran at Mercury and Rei ran at Akira before they both started laying in some punches to the faces of their respective challengers. Rei then started kicking Akira in the knee until she got Akira kneeling. Shinji, meanwhile, hit Mercury with a dropkick straight to the face that sent him falling into the turnbuckle.
"And the fight is on! The champions are taking it to their challengers early on!" Cornette exclaimed as Rei ran the ropes and hit a running dropkick to a kneeling Akira, sending her on her back before Rei mounted Akira and started punching her again. Meanwhile, Shinji started stomping on Mercury's gut in the corner, but Mercury was able to grab one of his legs. Shinji attempted an Enziguri, but Mercury was able to duck, however, the crowd cheered as Shinji was able to hit a second Dragon Whip kick onto Mercury before clotheslining him out of the ring.
"And Shinji launches Mercury out of the ring with a hard clothesline!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji waited for Mercury to get back to his feet as Rei started stomping on Akira, before running the ropes and hitting a Suicide Dive through the middle rope, sending him crashing on the top of the announcers' table. The crowd continued to cheer as Shinji mounted Mercury and started brawling with him on the announcers' table.
"Guys, we appreciate the action, but can you do it away from the non-wrestlers, like us?" Cornette asked as Mercury seemed to oblige by rolling off of the ring along with Shinji as he started punching Shinji in the side of the head. The crowd booed as Mercury pushed Shinji off of him and started punching him in the right side of the head multiple times before attempting to Irish whip him into the fan barricade. However, Shinji was able to reverse the Irish whip and sent Mercury crashing into the fan barricade back first, causing the crowd to go back to cheering.
"Shinji sending Mercury right into the fan barricade! He could've crashed through if Shinji added just the slightest bit more power to that whip!" Okabe exclaimed as in the ring, Akira had gotten up and kneed Rei in the gut a couple of times before Irish whipping her into the corner. However, when Akira attempted to hit a running clothesline into the corner, Rei was able to lift her feet up, sending her arm crashing into Rei's feet. The crowd cheered as Rei grabbed Akira's arm, chopped her a couple of times in the chest, and then started climbing to the top rope.
"Oh boy, what does Rei have planned here!?" Beth asked as Rei walked along the top rope, causing the crowd to cheer before she hit Akira with an arm drag off of the top rope. Akira went down, and Rei responded by hitting her with a Running Leg Drop to the neck before she noticed Shinji had Mercury down. Rei told Shinji to get them some weapons, causing the crowd to cheer as Shinji searched under the ring for some weapons.
"And now we're getting the toys!" Beth exclaimed excitedly as Shinji grabbed a trash can from underneath the ring. That can held a couple of kendo sticks, some steel chairs, a baseball bat, and some trash can lids, causing the crowd to cheer.
"Who left those underneath the ring?" Cornette asked as Shinji slid a kendo stick, one of the trash can lids, and a couple of steel chairs into the ring for Rei, before grabbing a steel chair for himself, and when he noticed Mercury getting up, Shinji rammed the chair into Mercury's gut multiple times before hitting him in the back with the steel chair. The crowd cheered as Mercury fell back onto the floor face first. Meanwhile, Rei grabbed a Kendo Stick, and when Akira got on her knees, Rei hit her a couple of times in the arm with the Kendo Stick.
"And now the BTWF Power Couple has things well in hand with the weapons in theirs!" Okabe exclaimed as Rei attempted another strike with the Kendo Stick, but Akira was able to grab it and hold it underneath her arm, causing the crowd to boo as Rei tried to pull it out of Akira's underarm. However, when she couldn't, Rei started punching Akira in the face, which Akira responded to by punching Rei in the face hard enough to knock her down, causing the crowd to boo as Shinji looked on in shock.
"Akira took the World Women's Champion down with only one punch!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji dropped the char and attempted to get into the ring, but a now standing Mercury grabbed the steel chair and hit Shinji in the back with it a couple of times before pushing him into the ring, much to the crowd's chagrin. Akira nodded at Mercury before she pulled Rei up by the hair and threw her out of the ring. Akira followed her out of the ring as Mercury started stomping on Shinji before running the ropes and hitting him with a Jumping Knee Drop before going for the pin.

Mercury mounted Shinji and started punching him in the face before taking one of the trash can lids that Shinji gave to Rei and hit Shinji in the stomach with it multiple times before putting the lid over Shinji's face. The crowd booed as Mercury hit a jumping stomp onto the trash can, sending it crashing into Shinji's face.
"Mercury just crushed Shinji's face like a bug!" Beth exclaimed as outside the ring, Akira pulled Rei back up by the hair and threw her into the fan barricade. The crowd booed as Akira grabbed Rei again and threw her over the fan barricade but grabbed Rei's leg. The crowd booed louder as Akira put Rei's leg in a Leglock over the fan barricade, causing Rei to start screaming in pain as Akira let go after thirty seconds, and kicked Rei's leg before pushing her into the fans.
"Akira with a vicious attack to the injured leg of Rei has taken her out of this match, for now," Okabe explained as Mercury picked Shinji up and threw him into the corner face first. Akira grabbed both of Shinji's arms, and held them behind his head, allowing Mercury to hit unobstructed punches to his face before running the ropes and hitting him with a running clothesline. The crowd booed as Mercury put Shinji in a front facelock, hit him with a Tornado DDT, and went for a pin.

"And despite this double-teaming, Shinji is still in the fight!" Beth exclaimed as Mercury stomped on Shinji's chest before he picked Shinji up and put him in an Argentine Backbreaker position. The crowd booed as Mercury hit Shinji with an Argentine Backbreaker Powerbomb before hitting him with another Jumping Knee Drop. Akira saw Rei start to climb out of the fans, and responded by rolling out of the ring and knocking her back into the fans with a big boot to the face.
"Akira sending Rei back into the BTWF fans with that big boot to the head!" Cornette exclaimed as Mercury jumped onto the apron and hit Shinji with a Springboard 450 Splash before going for the pin.

"Shinji barely able to roll his shoulder out!" Okabe exclaimed as Mercury pounded the mat in frustration. Akira grabbed Shinji in a Full Nelson, causing the crowd to boo as Mercury started giving Shinji multiple punches to the body. However, as he backed away to taunt the crowd, Shinji was able to slip out of Akira's grasp and turn Mercury around. The crowd cheered as Shinji punched Mercury in the face multiple times, but the crowd booed as Mercury pushed Shinji away and hit Shinji with a jumping dropkick to the face before going for another pin, hooking both of his legs back.
Ref: 1…2.
"That was a beautiful dropkick by Mercury that would make AJ Styles proud!" Beth exclaimed as Mercury picked Shinji up and hit him with an Ushigaroshi before putting him in a seated position and hit him with a running forearm. The crowd booed as Mercury hit Shinji with a leg drop across the neck before putting him back in a seated position before kicking him in the back and then ran the ropes to hit a running dropkick to the back of Shinji's head.
"Some fast-paced strikes by Mercury to make sure Shinji stays down!" Cornette exclaimed as Rei climbed out of the fan barricade before Akira noticed and rolled out of the ring. Rei and Akira exchanged punches before Akira threw Rei into the steel ring post before Irish whipping her hard into the steel steps, causing the crowd to boo before Akira rolled back into the ring. Meanwhile, in the ring, Mercury grabbed Shinji by the hair and kicked him in the gut before running the ropes and hitting him with a Leg Drop Bulldog and going for another pin.

"Akira making sure Rei doesn't come into the ring while Mercury goes after Shinji. Some very good strategy here," Okabe complimented as Mercury hit a snap suplex onto Shinji before grabbing a chair and hit Shinji in the gut multiple times with the chair before dragging him into the bottom turnbuckle of the corner. Mercury then put the chair in front of Shinji's face and strutted to the other side of the ring. The crowd continued to boo as Akira held the chair in place, allowing Mercury to run at Shinji with a Running Dropkick to the face, sending the chair crashing into Shinji's face before going for the pin.
"And a dropkick to the face of Shinji sending that chair crashing into Shinji's nose! It has to be broken right now!" Cornette exclaimed as Akira picked up the chair and rolled out of the ring as the referee went down for the pin.

"Shinji showcasing his trademark resilience, kicking out of a dropkick into the chair!" Beth exclaimed as Mercury pounded the mat in frustration before grabbing Shinji and locking him in the Camel Clutch, causing the crowd to boo as Akira pulled Rei up by the hair and threw her into the ring apron as Shinji tried to crawl to the ropes.
"Shinji is in the Camel Clutch, but the ropes won't help Shinji as there are no ropebreaks in No-Disqualification contests!" Okabe exclaimed as before Shinji could make it to the ropes, Mercury started clubbing him in the face before pulling himself and Shinji back, causing the crowd to boo louder as Shinji started screaming in pain. However, the crowd cheered as Shinji started elbowing Mercury in the head, allowing Shinji to fall out of Mercury's grasp and onto the mat face first. Mercury attempted to get Shinji back into the Camel Clutch, but Shinji was able to turn around and push him away with his feet. When Mercury attempted to run at him, Shinji was able to jump up to his feet and counter his running frame into a Pedigree, causing the crowd to cheer as both laid down in the middle of the ring.
"Shinji with that counter into the Pedigree! Finally getting momentum in this match swinging in his favor!" Beth exclaimed as outside of the ring, Akira attempted a running chair shot onto Rei, but Rei was able to counter it into a Drop Toe Hold, sending Akira's head crashing into both the steel chair and the steel steps, causing the crowd to cheer louder as Shinji and Mercury started getting up, and when they got on their knees, the two started to exchange punches in the middle of the ring with the crowd cheering and booing accordingly.
"There is still plenty of fight in Shinji and Mercury, and that's how much the animosity and United States Championship mean to these two athletes!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji was able to win the brawl with multiple punches and knife-edge chops to the chest before getting back to his feet and throwing Mercury into the corner chest first.
"And Mercury getting thrown sternum first into the corner!" Okabe exclaimed as Shinji ran the ropes and hit multiple clotheslines onto Mercury, causing the crowd to cheer, getting louder with each one. When Mercury got back to his feet, Shinji hit Mercury with a Running Sling Blade, a Running Shooting Star Press, and a Springboard Twisting Crossbody onto Mercury before going into the corner and, much to the crowd's delight, taunted at Mercury to get up. When Mercury did, Shinji hit Mercury right in the face with a Fly to the Moon (Superkick) before picking him up and hitting him with a Running Powerbomb into the turnbuckles.
"Shinji not stopping with this onslaught of attacks!" Beth exclaimed. The crowd then cheered as Shinji jumped onto the apron, and with a still-standing Mercury in his line of sight, Shinji springboarded back into the ring with a flying knee to Mercury's face before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2..
Akira rolled into the ring and stomped on Shinji's back to break up the pin, causing the crowd to boo. Akira continued stomping on Shinji before the crowd started cheering as Rei threw a chair into the ring and started clubbing Akira in the back before pushing her into the corner. Shinji got up, smiled at Rei, and then grabbed Mercury and threw him into another corner. Both Rei and Shinji winked at each other before they both climbed up the turnbuckles, and started hitting both Mercury and Akira with ten punch salutes, with the crowd counting each punch.
"Tandem offense from the BTWF Power Couple!" Okabe exclaimed as Shinji and Rei jumped down with Shinji putting Mercury on the top rope while Rei attempted a Tornado DDT onto Akira. However, Akira threw Rei off of her and ran at Mercury and Shinji, who were on the top rope, and much to the crowd's shock, pushed both Shinji and Mercury off of the top rope, sending them crashing onto the padded concrete floors. The crowd chanted holy shit as the referee left the ring to check on both Mercury and Shinji.
"Wow! Akira showing how truly heartless she can be by pushing both her partner and her opponent onto the unforgiving floor!" Beth exclaimed as Rei hit Akira with a running dropkick that sent her into the corner. The crowd cheered as Rei hit multiple knife-edge chops onto Akira's chest before running the ropes and hitting a running enziguri to Akira's head. The crowd continued to cheer as Rei put Akira in a front facelock, and this time, hit her with a tornado DDT and went for a pin.
Ref: 1…2.
"Rei almost as Akira there with that Tornado DDT that planted her head into the canvas!" Cornette exclaimed as Rei grabbed a steel chair, hit Akira a couple of times in the chest with the chair, and then placed it onto her chest before hitting her with a Jumping Double Stomp to the chest. Rei then put Akira in a seated position, put the chair in front of Akira's face, and hit her with a dropkick, sending the chair crashing into Akira's face before she went for another pin.
Ref: 1…2.
"Rei really knows her way around a steel chair, which should not be surprising to anyone who saw Rei capture the BTWF Women's Championship in a Chairs Match!" Beth exclaimed as the crowd continued to cheer while Rei picked Akira up by her hair and started punching her in the face before Akira pushed Rei off of her. However, Rei rebounded off of the ropes and as Akira was able to get back to her feet, Rei attempted to hit her with a Hurricanrana. However, Akira caught her and attempted to hit Rei with a Powerbomb.
"Oh, this won't end well for Rei!" Okabe exclaimed as Rei was able to counter Akira by throwing her into the corner, with her head hitting the top turnbuckle. The crowd cheered as Rei rolled Akira up with a backslide pin.
Ref: 1…2..
"Rei almost got the pinfall there!" Okabe exclaimed as Rei grabbed the chair again, and wedged it into the corner. The crowd cheered as Rei pulled Akira back up to her feet and started hitting her in the face with multiple forearms and punches. Rei attempted to throw Akira into the steel chair, but Akira was able to block it and attempted to throw Rei into it. However, Rei was able to elbow Akira in the gut and attempted to throw her into the chair, but Akira blocked it once again and countered Rei with a headbutt to the face before throwing Rei face-first into the steel chair. The crowd booed as Rei fell out of the corner with a hand over her head as the chair dropped to the ground.
"And after that brief struggle, Akira is able to turn the momentum of this match once again by throwing her head first into that steel chair in the corner!" Cornette exclaimed as Akira picked up Rei and Irish whipped her into the corner chest first hard enough for Rei to bounce out of the corner. Akira then ran the ropes and knocked Rei down with a clothesline that sent her turning inside out. The crowd booed as Akira grabbed the trash can and the trash can lid before picking Rei up in a Powerbomb position.
"Akira has shown a violent streak in this match, and it doesn't look like she's going to stop anytime soon!" Beth exclaimed as Akira hit Rei with a Powerbomb, causing the crowd to cheer as she sent Rei crashing into the trash can, causing the crowd to boo as Akira pinned Rei while hooking both legs back.
Ref: 1…2..
Rei barely rolled her shoulder out, but Akira immediately grabbed her leg and started pounding on the knee, causing the crowd to boo as Rei attempted to kick Akira off of her. However, Akira grabbed Rei's other leg, and catapulted her into the corner, sending Rei face-first into the top turnbuckle. The crowd booed as Akira grabbed Rei and hit her with a Release German Suplex, throwing her halfway across the ring as Akira chuckled at Rei's pain as the crowd booed.
"Shinji and Mercury are just starting to move again after being knocked off the top rope while Akira is having her way with Rei," Okabe explained as Akira picked Rei up again and hit her with another German Suplex. However, Akira still had Rei in a grip and hit her with a couple more German Suplexes before finally hitting another Release German Suplex, sending her into the bottom turnbuckle.
"Akira not holding anything back when it comes to the Women's Championship!" Cornette exclaimed as Akira ran the ropes and hit a running knee to Rei's face before dragging her to the center of the ring and going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2..
Akira pounded the mat in frustration, but rather than arguing with the referee, she just glared at him and grabbed Rei's knee once again and started slamming it multiple times into the ring canvas. The crowd booed as Akira grabbed Rei's leg and put her in a Single Leg Boston Crab, causing the crowd to boo as Rei started screaming in pain as she tried to push Akira off of her.
"Rei in a Single Leg Boston Crab and with the damage done to her right leg, she may have to tap out!" Beth exclaimed as Rei tried to drag herself around the ring, but Akira, while still holding on to Rei's leg, sat up and started stomping on her back before putting her back in the Single Leg Boston Crab. However, the crowd cheered as Rei reached to her left and grabbed the trash can lid. Much to the crowd's delight, Rei started hitting Akira in the back with the lid, causing the crowd to cheer as Akira let go with a hand on her back.
"Rei using that nearby weapon in order to get Akira off of her!" Beth exclaimed as Akira attempted to run back at Rei, but Rei threw the trash can lid into Akira's face, causing the crowd to cheer as Akira ran back with a hand on her face while Rei used the ropes to get back on her feet. Akira attempted to hit Rei with a couple of punches, but Rei was able to counter with punches of her own, and when Akira went for a more powerful punch, Rei ducked and hit Akira with a standing dropkick to the face, sending Akira staggering into the ropes.
"Rei is getting momentum back in this match! You can see her holding her right knee in pain!" Cornette exclaimed as Rei pounded on her knee before running into Akira with a running dropkick before running the ropes, hitting Akira with multiple clotheslines, a Frankensteiner, a kick to the gut, and then hit the Three Amigas (Triple Rolling Vertical Suplexes), causing the crowd to cheer as Rei went up to the top rope.
"Rei looks like she's going for the Light from Above (Frog Splash)!" Beth exclaimed as Rei dived off, and Akira attempted to raise her knees up. However, the crowd cheered as Rei was able to stop herself, pick Akira up on her knees, and hit her with a knee to the face before picking her up and hitting her with the Wing Clipper before going for another pin.
Ref: 1…2..
When Akira kicked out, Rei immediately pulled Akira up and locked her in the reverse full nelson, causing the crowd to cheer as Akira tried to pull herself out of the hold.
"Rei has the Reverse Full Nelson locked in tight!" Beth exclaimed as the crowd booed when Mercury rolled into the ring. When he did, Mercury stomped on Rei's exposed right knee, causing the crowd to boo loudly as Rei let go of Akira, holding onto her knee in pain.
"And of course Mercury comes in and stomps on Rei's damaged knee!" Beth exclaimed in disgust as Mercury continued to step on Rei's knee, with Mercury twirling a baseball bat in his fingers with a smirk on his face, causing the crowd to boo loudly as Mercury started yelling at Rei that this was on her.
"Mercury looks like he's going to break Rei's knee like she owes him money!" Cornette exclaimed in worry as Rei spat in Mercury's face in defiance, causing the crowd to cheer as Mercury glared at her while wiping the spit off of his face. However, before he could swing the bat at Rei, Shinji ran into the ring and pulled the bat out of Mercury's hand and kicked Mercury in the gut before clubbing him in the back and the face, causing the crowd to explode into cheers as Rei got back to her feet with a smile on her face.
"Shinji coming to the rescue just in time!" Beth exclaimed as Mercury hit Shinji with a low blow, causing the crowd to boo as Mercury immediately punched Rei in the face, causing the crowd to boo loudly as Akira picked Rei up, and put her in position for the Styles Clash. Akira also got up and grabbed Shinji by the throat before picking him up for the Spotlighter (F-5), causing the crowd to boo as both prepared to finish off the champions.
"We could have new champions here, as they have them in position for their finishers!" Cornette exclaimed as when Akira hit Mercury with a Spotlighter (F-5), Shinji was able to reverse it into a DDT, causing the crowd to cheer as Rei started kicking Mercury in the face before pushing him off of her. With Mercury away from Rei, Shinji hit Mercury with a Fly to the Moon (Superkick) to the face before running the ropes and hitting a Peace of Mind (Curb Stomp) onto Mercury before rolling out of the ring.
"What does Shinji have planned here?" Okabe asked as Rei picked Akira up by her hair, and hit her with the Redemption (Cross Rhodes) as Shinji came back into the ring after pushing two tables into the ring. Rei looked up at a smirking Shinji and nodded before grabbing one of the tables. Both Shinji and Rei put the tables up as Akira and Mercury still laid down on the mat, but Shinji grabbed the bat and hit Mercury in the gut and sides with it multiple times before handing the bat to Rei, who hit Akira in the gut and sides with the bat as well.
"I'll tell you what he has planned here Okabe, they plan on finishing this match off in spectacular fashion!" Beth exclaimed as Rei and Shinji picked Mercury and Akira up and placed them on the tables. The crowd cheered loudly as Rei climbed to the top rope and Shinji climbed up to the 2nd rope. With the crowd cheering and chanting them on, Rei dived off of the top rope with a Light from Above (Frog Splash) while Shinji jumped up to the top rope and hit the Genesis Moonsault (BME)(Best Moonsault Ever), sending both their challengers crashing through tables before they went for the pin. The referee went down and counted both pins as the crowd continued to cheer and chant for Shinji and Rei.

"Ladies and gentlemen, here are your winners, and still the BTWF United States and BTWF World Women's Champions, 'Undisputed' Shinji Ikari and Rei Ayanami!" Tim Barr exclaimed as the crowd erupted as Shinji, with a hand on his back, offered his hand to Rei, who graciously took it, allowing Shinji to help Rei up.
"The BTWF Power Couple have retained both their titles in a first time ever match for the BTWF!" Cornette exclaimed as Rei and Shinji hugged each other in the middle of the ring before taking their championships from the referee. Shinji grabbed Rei's Women's title and wrapped it around her waist, and in return, Rei took Shinji's United States Championship and put it around his waist.
"Mercury and Akira have been thorns in the side of Shinji and Rei for a while now, and they may have finally gotten the chance to move on!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji and Rei turned to face each other, and kissed each other on the lips, causing the crowd to cheer and chant their name while the referee was checking on Mercury and Akira.
"I'm not the biggest fan of romance, but even I can't not be happy at this happy ending for Shinji and Rei," Okabe admitted as Rei and Shinji rolled out of the ring, holding hands as they used their free hands to hi-five fans on their way to the back. Mercury and Akira were being helped to their feet by the referees, with looks on their faces that were a combination of anger and disappointment.
"You're not the only one Okabe, but we have to wonder what's next for this Power Couple!?" Cornette asked as the show ended with Shinji and Rei kissing each other on the lips again on the stage.
