BTWF Last Gasp (Night 2 Part 4)

The camera focused back onto the stage, the crowd booing as Damien Sandow's 2013 'Hallelujah' theme song played and Senku Ishigami came out of the back with Kaworu Nagisa leading him out. Kaworu was wearing his usual blue and gold robe, telling the fans at home that it's up to Shinji to put up or shut up or else he's going to lose the BTWF United States Championship. Senku patted Kaworu on the shoulder and told the fans at home that Shinji was washed up and that Kaworu was going to prove it tonight.

"The following contest is a 2/3 falls match, and it is for the BTWF United States Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, accompanied to the ring by Senku Ishigami, from Tokyo Japan, Kaworu Nagisa!" Tim Barr announced, the crowd continuing to boo as Kaworu gave the jeering crowd a curtsy at the center of the stage before he and Senku walk down the entranceway. Senku smirked at the booing crowd with Kaworu patting Senku on the shoulder, telling him that he was going to learn a lot from this match, specifically how Kaworu defeats Shinji.

"Kaworu has been saying, for the past few weeks, that Shinji is beginning to lose his touch in the ring, and that he was going to prove it once and for all by winning the BTWF United States Championship mere," Cornette explained as Kaworu walked up the ringside area, simply rolling his eyes at the crowd booing him. Senku told Kaworu not to worry about it, and Kaworu responded that he wasn't worried and that if anything, he was as confident as he's ever been. Senku applauded Kaworu as he took off his robe, and handed it to Senku before walking over to the steel steps.

"A 2/3 Falls match is a match that tests endurance, as Shinji and Kaworu discussed on Octane, so this is going to be the perfect way for Kaworu to prove his point correct," Okabe explained as Kaworu walked up the steel steps, outstretching his arms as the crowd continued booing him. Kaworu climbed up to the top turnbuckle, smirked at the booing crowd, and then outstretched his arms once again before jumping down onto the canvas, looking as confident as ever as he strode to the corner.

"You can just see the arrogance oozing out of Kaworu here, despite all the times that Shinji has proven the doubters wrong," Beth noted as Kaworu sat up on the top turnbuckle, and put his hands behind his back, waiting for Shinji. The crowd exploded into cheers as 'Not Gonna Die' by Skillet played, and pyro shot out of the stage before Shinji ran out of the back with the BTWF United States Championship around his waist. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji stopped at the center of the stage, patted the BTWF United States Championship around his waist, and shot both of his fists in the air, causing some of the pyro behind him to raise up to the point where the wall of pyro grew taller than him.

"And introducing the champion, from Tokyo Japan, he is the BTWF United States Champion, 'Undisputed' Shinji Ikari!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd continued cheering and chanting for Shinji. Kaworu, in the ring, looked unimpressed as Shinji walked down the entranceway, high-fiving fans in the front row. Shinji briefly looked up to glare at Kaworu, but went back to smiling at the fans, telling the ones at home that he was going to prove Kaworu wrong, and that he was still the man.

"Shinji has been the BTWF United States Champion since May of last year, being a fighting United States Champion for almost 10 months," Cornette explained as Shinji stopped at the ringside area, once again glaring up at Kaworu before taking the BTWF United States Championship off of around his waist. Shinji then walked over to Senku, and raised the BTWF United States Championship over his head, telling Senku he may have gotten lucky on Octane a couple of weeks ago, but he wasn't going to get lucky a second time when the championship was on the line.

"Shinji's confidence hasn't been hampered at all by Kaworu's comments, and it shows with how he's talking to the man who beat him with Kaworu's help a couple of weeks ago. Let's not forget that whether Shinji or Kaworu wins the BTWF United States Championship tonight, Senku is going to get a title match on the next episode of Octane," Okabe explained as Shinji ran up the steel steps, jumped up to the top turnbuckle, and raised the BTWF United States Championship over his head once again. The crowd cheered and chanted for Shinji as he backflipped onto the canvas, catching the BTWF United States Championship, much to the crowd's amazement.

"That backflip had to be a dig at Kaworu, telling him that Shinji's not worried at all about this match," Beth noted as Shinji handed the BTWF United States Championship to the referee before walking up to Kaworu, telling him that he was going to regret all the trash he had been talking these past few weeks. Kaworu brushed off Shinji's threats, telling him that he was always the better man in their tag team and that Shinji was going to learn that fact the hard way tonight. Shinji and Kaworu continued exchanging words with each other before the referee had to push himself in between the two, telling them to back away before he could start the match.

"Things are getting heated before the match is even able to start!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji and Kaworu separated themselves from each other before the referee made sure that they were ready. When he was sure that both the champion and challenger were ready, the referee told the timekeeper to ring the bell, and when he did, Kaworu and Shinji immediately locked up with each other. Shinji and Kaworu both attempted to push each other into the corner, but they were unable to counter their opponents. Kaworu then sends Shinji into the ropes, forcing the referee to break up the lock-up, and when Shinji let go, Kaworu immediately Irish whipped him off of the ropes. Kaworu attempted to hit a rebounding Shinji with a Back Elbow, but Shinji was able to duck. Shinji attempted to hit Kaworu with a Shoulder Block, but Kaworu was able to dodge the attack attempt. However, when Shinji leapfrogged over Kaworu, Shinji looked to have tweaked his knee when he landed back on the floor.

"OH! What happened to Shinji!? Did he injure his knee!?" Cornette exclaimed in shock as Kaworu looked on at Shinji while he was writhing in pain with a smirk on his face. Kaworu attempted to go after Shinji, but the referee pushed him away while checking on Shinji's knee. Shinji took off his kneepad and started massaging his knee as one of the medical trainers came running down to check on his knee. However, before the trainer could do anything, Kaworu grabbed Shinji and attempted to hit him with The Final Request (Sit-Out Full Nelson Slam). However, the crowd exploded into cheers as Shinji was able to counter this move with a Victory Roll pin.

"Ladies and gentlemen, here is the winner of the first fall, 'Undisputed' Shinji Ikari!" Tim Barr announced, Kaworu sitting up in shock as Shinji jumped in front of Kaworu with a confident smirk on his face. Shinji then jumped on his 'bad' leg a couple of times while asking Kaworu if he was still as washed up as he claimed. Senku looked enraged as he tried to tell the referee that that shouldn't count due to Shinji's deception, but the referee told him that Shinji hadn't broken the rules, so the pinfall stood.

"Shinji showing that he still has it when it comes to strategy, and Kaworu is beside himself at being outsmarted!" Cornette exclaimed as Kaworu shot back up to his feet, and began exchanging punches with Shinji. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji threw Kaworu in the corner, and hit him with multiple Knife-Edge Chops to the chest before leveling him with multiple Forearm strikes to the side of the head. Kaworu pushed Shinji away and attempted to grab him by the arm, but Shinji threw him back down with a Japanese Arm Drag, the crowd continuing to cheer as Shinji ran the ropes, attempting to hit him with the Peace of Mind (Curb Stomp). However, the crowd booed as Kaworu rolled out of the ring, calling Senku to come to him under the guise of giving him some pointers.

"Kaworu leaving the ring, even bringing in his protégé as a potential human shield," Beth noted as Shinji didn't let up, running the ropes and taking both Shinji and Kaworu out with a Vaulting Twisting Crossbody. The crowd continued cheering and chanting for Shinji as he grabbed Kaworu and threw him back into the ring before jumping up onto the ring apron and hitting Kaworu with a Springboard Tope Con Hilo to the chest. Shinji then ran the ropes again and hit a Jumping Seated Forearm onto Kaworu's face before hitting him with a Standing Shooting Star Press and going for the pinfall.

"Shinji is firing on all cylinders here, not only making Senku a non-factor, but keeping Kaworu on his toes, preventing his intelligent mind from formulating a strategy," Okabe explained as Shinji picked Kaworu up, and hit him with several more Knife-Edge Chops to the chest, but Kaworu was able to block one of the chops, grab him by the arm, and hit him with several Back Elbows before taking him down with a Hip Toss. The crowd began booing as Kaworu cartwheeled in front of Shinji, and attempted to hit him with a Seated Clothesline, but the crowd cheered as Shinji rolled out of the way, and before Kaworu could get back to his feet, Shinji hit Kaworu with a Basement Dropkick to the side of the head with enough force to send him rolling to the ropes.

"Shinji continuing to dominate Kaworu in this match and you have to think that we may have a clean sweep here," Cornette explained as Shinji attempted to grab Kaworu by the leg, but he held onto the bottom rope with both of his hands. Shinji continued trying to pull Kaworu back to the center of the ring, but Kaworu was able to respond by kicking Shinji several times in the knees before throwing Shinji through the middle rope. Shinji slightly limped due to the kicks, and Kaworu responded by running the ropes, and hitting Shinji with a Baseball Slide Dropkick to the back, sending Shinji crashing into the fan barricade sides first. Kaworu then slid back into the ring, hitting several punches to the side of Shinji's face, which Shinji attempted to fight back against with several punches to the head. Shinji then threw Kaworu back into the ring, the crowd cheering as Shinji got onto the ring apron, and attempted to springboard back into the ring, but the crowd booed as Kaworu kicked the top rope, causing Shinji to fall onto the top rope chest first, dangling from that rope.

"Kaworu finally able to gain some momentum, and hopefully, this can translate to a fall so he can get on the board," Okabe explained as Kaworu ran the ropes, and hit Shinji with a Running Knee Lift to the face while he was still dangling from the top rope. Shinji fell back onto the apron, and Kaworu responded by grabbing Shinji by the hair and clubbing his chest multiple times before throwing him back into the ring with a Reverse Suplex. The crowd continued booing as Kaworu stomped on Shinji's chest and face several times, telling the crowd that Shinji's moment of hope was over.

"Kaworu now slowing the pace of this match down, keeping it at the speed he's comfortable with," Cornette noted as Kaworu picked Shinji up, and hit him with a Back Suplex before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2.

Kaworu got back up to his feet and began stomping on Shinji again before picking him up and putting him in a Half Nelson. The crowd continued booing as Kaworu hit Shinji with multiple knee strikes to the exposed chest of Shinji before pushing him into the corner. The crowd continued booing as Kaworu ran into the corner, hitting a Running Corner Clothesline onto Shinji's chest and throat before running the ropes again, and hitting him with a Running Jumping Corner Back Elbow to the side of the head. Kaworu then grabbed Shinji, threw him down with a Snapmare, jumped up to the middle rope, and hit a Diving Uppercut to the back of a seated Shinji's head.

"Kaworu isn't going to let Shinji get away with what he did at the beginning of this match," Beth noted as Kaworu hit a couple of standing Knee Drops before running the ropes and hitting a Ric Flair style Knee Drop to the top of his face. Kaworu then picked Shinji up and hit him with several punches to the side of the face before hitting him with a Snap Vertical Suplex. The crowd continued to boo as Kaworu gave the jeering crowd a curtsy before running the ropes and hitting Shinji with a Leg Drop across Shinji's throat before going for the pinfall.

"Shinji kicking out of Kaworu's methodical offense. What Kaworu's offense lacks in pizzazz it more than makes up for in effectiveness," Okabe explained as Kaworu mounted Shinji, and hit him with several punches to the side of the face before the referee pulled him off. Kaworu responded by simply stomping on Shinji's chest a couple of times before dragging him to the ropes and using the middle rope to choke Shinji. The referee pulled Kaworu away from the ropes once again, and Senku used this opportunity to hit Shinji in the side of the face with a punch to the face. This caused Shinji to stagger away from the ropes, and Kaworu to knock Shinji back down with a DDT, the crowd booing as Senku applauded his mentor from the outside.

"Senku interfering on the outside, and Kaworu takes advantage with a devastating DDT!" Cornette narrated as Kaworu stomped on Shinji's face a couple of times before grabbing Shinji, and throwing him onto the ring apron. The crowd continued booing as Kaworu hit several Forearms to the side of Shinji's face before running the ropes, and hitting him with a Running Big Boot to the side of the face, sending Shinji falling off of the apron and onto the floor. The crowd continued booing as Kaworu climbed up to the top rope as Shinji staggered back up to his feet, and when he did, Kaworu dived off of the top rope, hitting Shinji with a Flying Double Ax Handle.

"We rarely see Kaworu climb up to the top rope, but give him credit, it was effective," Okabe noted as Kaworu grabbed Shinji, and slammed his head several times into the side of the fan barricade. Kaworu then grabbed Shinji and attempted to hit him with another Snap Vertical Suplex, but the crowd began cheering again as Shinji landed on his feet, turned Kaworu around, and hit him with several punches to the side of the head. Shinji then attempted to hit Kaworu with the Fly to the Moon (Superkick), but Kaworu was able to grab his leg, the crowd booing louder as Kaworu swung Shinji's leg into the steel ring post. Kaworu kept Shinji's leg in front of the steel ring post, and hit the back of Shinji's knee with a Jumping Dropkick, sending his knee crashing into the steel ring post again.

Ref: 1…2…3

"Kaworu now going after the right leg of Shinji! Shinji is more of a high-flyer than Kaworu is, so this is a good strategy by the former BTWF Champion!" Okabe exclaimed as Kaworu grabbed Shinji by the hair, and hit him with several punches to the face before slamming the back of the head into the steel ring apron several times. The crowd continued booing as Kaworu turned Shinji on his stomach, and slammed his right knee into the steel ring post multiple times before draping his head and neck over the ring apron. The crowd continued booing as Kaworu clubbed Shinji in the back before jumping up onto the ring apron and hitting Shinji in the back of the head with a Diving Knee Drop from the apron.

"Ref: …4…5

"Kaworu bringing the aggression he brought into his feud with Natsu last year over the BTWF Championship in this match for the BTWF United States Championship!" Beth exclaimed as Kaworu grabbed Shinji and threw him back into the ring. Kaworu then slid back into the ring, mounted Shinji's back, and hit him in the back of the head with multiple forearms before Kaworu hit a Jumping Stomp onto the back of Shinji's right knee. Kaworu grabbed Shinji's leg and turned him on his back, but the crowd began cheering again as Shinji kicked Kaworu in the chest and the face while still on the ground. Kaworu responded by stomping on Shinji's gut multiple times before grabbing both of his legs and catapulting him into the middle rope with enough force to send him bouncing back.

"Wow! Kaworu showing off some strength with that Catapult into the ropes!" Cornette exclaimed as Kaworu grabbed Shinji and took him down with a Back Suplex before kicking his arm to his side. Kaworu then raised his hand and gave the jeering crowd another curtsy before hitting him with an Elbow of Disdain to the chest before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2..

Kaworu smirked, slapping Shinji on the side of the head while seated, the crowd booing as Kaworu got back up, grabbed Shinji and dropped multiple elbows onto Shinji's right knee. Shinji attempted to pull himself away from Kaworu, but he slammed the side of Shinji's leg into the canvas. Kaworu then kicked the back of Shinji's knee before attempting to lock him in a Figure-4-Leglock, but the crowd cheered as Shinji rolled him up with a Small Package pinfall.

Ref: 1…2..

"Shinji almost stole another pin from Kaworu! That may have only served to make her angrier!" Beth exclaimed as Kaworu kicked out, and when Shinji attempted to get back to his feet, Kaworu knocked Shinji back to the mat with a Running Harley Race Knee. The crowd continued booing as Kaworu picked Shinji up, and hit him with a Half-Nelson Suplex before grabbing the right leg and locking him in the Single Leg Boston Crab. The crowd continued booing as Shinji attempted to drag himself to the center of the ring, but Senku tried pulling the rope back so that he couldn't grab the ropes. This allowed Kaworu to drag Shinji back to the center of the ring, and convert the Single Leg Boston Crab into the STF, maintaining his grip on the right leg.

"Kaworu now has Shinji locked in the STF! Will Shinji tap out here, as the pain in his leg has to be unbearable!?" Okabe exclaimed as Shinji attempted to hit Kaworu in the face with several punches to the face, but Kaworu raked Shinji's eyes, and maintained his grip on the STF, pulling back on Shinji's neck. The crowd chanted and clapped for Shinji as he began crawling to the ropes again, with Kaworu continuing to try and pull him away from the ropes. Senku once again attempted to pull the ropes back, but Senku was able to use his free hand to send Senku away with a straight right-handed jab to the face. Seconds later, the crowd cheered as Shinji was able to grab the bottom rope, forcing Kaworu to release the hold.

"Shinji able to not only make it to the ropes but send Senku staggering away, giving him a chance of an equal playing field!" Cornette exclaimed as Kaworu looked annoyed before stomping on the back of Shinji's right leg a couple of times before throwing him into the corner chest first. The crowd continued booing as Kaworu picked Shinji up, putting him on the top turnbuckle, and started clubbing Shinji in the back before climbing up to follow him. Kaworu attempted to put him in position for a Top Rope Back Suplex, but the crowd began cheering as Shinji hit several Back Elbows to the side of Kaworu's head, staggering him. Kaworu countered with several elbow strikes to the top of the head before once again putting him in position for a Top Rope Back Suplex. However, the crowd exploded into cheers as Shinji was able to counter Kaworu mid-Top Rope Back Suplex with a Shiranui.

"I've never seen a counter like that before!" Beth exclaimed in shock as Shinji crawled back over to the corner, turned around to see Kaworu still lying down, and jumped up to the middle turnbuckle on one leg. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji jumped up to the top rope and hit Kaworu with the Genesis Moonsault (BME (Best Moonsault Ever)). However, Shinji landed on his knees upon impact, holding his right leg in pain before crawling over to Kaworu and laying down on him for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2…

Kaworu kicked out, and Shinji, while on his knees, put Kaworu on his knees, and hit him with a slap to the side of the face. Kaworu immediately responded, much to the crowd's chagrin, and hit Shinji in the face with a Forearm shot. Shinji and Kaworu continued exchanging punches, the crowd cheering and booing accordingly before the punches turned into Forearms. The crowd began cheering even louder as Shinji and Kaworu started trading open palm strikes to the side of the face, which Kaworu ended with a straight kick to the knee. The crowd booed as Kaworu attempted to hit Shinji with a Straight Jacket Neckbreaker, but Shinji was able to counter this with a Backslide pin, making sure not to put too much pressure on his right leg.

Ref: 1…2..

"Shinji almost got another surprise pinfall against Kaworu, and that was on a bad leg!" Beth exclaimed as Kaworu kicked out, and attempted to hit Shinji with a Clothesline, but he was able to dodge. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji hit Kaworu with two Clotheslines, a Spinning Kick to the gut and then hit him with the Falcon Arrow. Shinji limped over to Kaworu and hit him with a Standing Shooting Star Press. Shinji attempted to pick Kaworu up, but Kaworu countered with a Jawbreaker, the crowd booing as Kaworu threw Shinji out of the ring and onto the apron. Kaworu attempted to hit Shinji with a Suplex, but Shinji was able to hotshot Kaworu's throat over the top rope. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji hit Kaworu with a kick to the side of the face hard enough to send Kaworu staggering away.

"I think adrenaline is beginning to take Shinji over!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji springboarded back into the ring, hitting Kaworu in the side of the face with a Springboard Knee Strike. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji picked Kaworu up, and hit him with a Pedigree before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2…

Shinji looked shocked while clutching his right leg in pain, and crawled to the corner, attempting to stand up. After Shinji finally stood up, he attempted to hit Kaworu with the Peace of Mind (Curb Stomp), but Kaworu was able to dodge and push Shinji into the ropes, attempting to hit him with a Powerslam. However, Shinji was able to jump behind Kaworu, hit him with a Discus Forearm to the back of the head, and then hit him with a Spinning Back Suplex Powerbomb. However, when Shinji attempted to go for the Standing Moonsault, Kaworu pushed Shinji away with his foot, sending him into the corner. Kaworu immediately attempted to get back to his feet and ram his shoulder into Shinji's midsection, but Shinji was able to counter by jumping up to the middle rope and rolling Kaworu up with a Sunset Flip out of the corner.

Ref: 1…2…

"Shinji showing just how much this BTWF United States Championship means to him, ignoring the pain in his leg to continue fighting Kaworu!" Okabe exclaimed as Kaworu attempted to put Shinji in a Single Leg Boston Crab, but Shinji was able to kip up on one foot and knock Kaworu on all fours with an Enziguri. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji picked Kaworu up, and threw him into the nearest corner with a Corner Powerbomb, and when Kaworu staggered out of the corner, Shinji grabbed Kaworu in a Front Facelock and hit him with a Tornado DDT. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji put Kaworu on all fours, and attempted to run the ropes for another Peace of Mind (Curb Stomp) attempt, but Senku grabbed Shinji's right leg, causing him to trip.

"And once again, Senku tries to prevent another pinfall on his mentor!" Beth exclaimed in annoyance as Shinji grabbed Senku by the hair, and smashed his face several times into the ring apron. Senku staggered away before Shinji rolled out of the ring, hit Senku with a Fly to the Moon (Superkick), and sent him staggering onto the announcers' table. Shinji then looked at the top rope, noticed that Kaworu was still down, and climbed back up onto the steel apron, the crowd cheering even louder as Shinji climbed up to the top turnbuckle, aiming for Senku on the outside. However, before Shinji could dive out onto the outside, Kaworu ran up the top turnbuckle, hitting Shinji in the back of the head with a Running Knee Strike.

"Well, that distraction was all Kaworu needed to get the advantage back in his favor!" Okabe exclaimed as Kaworu put Shinji in a Full Nelson, and hit him with the Final Request (Sit-Out Full Nelson Slam) before going for the pinfall.

"Ladies and gentlemen, here is the winner of the second fall, Kaworu Nagisa!" Tim Barr announced as the referee pulled Kaworu away, telling him to give Shinji some time to get back up. Kaworu sighed before rolling out of the ring, telling Senku that he was closing in on the victory and that nothing was going to stop him from becoming the United States Champion. When Kaworu saw that Shinji was back to his feet, Kaworu ran back into the ring and hit Shinji with a Chop Block to the back of his right knee. Kaworu grabbed Shinji's right leg and hit him with several Foot DDTs before locking Shinji in the Figure-4-Leglock. The crowd booed as Kaworu started hitting Shinji with multiple punches and clubs to the knees and legs while Shinji tried to grab the ropes.

"Kaworu has the Figure-4-Lock locked in! Can we see Kaworu pull off a second fall so soon!?" Cornette asked as Shinji sat himself up and attempted to break the Figure-4-Leglock by punching Kaworu in the face multiple times. Kaworu, however, responded by knocking Shinji back on his back with a Forearm and continued pulling back on his legs in the Figure-4. After another minute in the hold, Shinji started pulling himself to the ropes, which Kaworu responded to by punching Shinji in the leg again several times before pulling him back to the center of the ring. Shinji, however, immediately responded by rolling on his stomach, the crowd cheering as Shinji locked Kaworu in a Reverse Figure-4-Leglock. Kaworu immediately crawled to the ropes, Shinji not letting go until the referee got to the count of 4, and crawled to the ropes, pulling himself back up to his feet with the top rope.

"Shinji survived the Figure-4-Leglock, but the question is how much longer can this last!?" Okabe asked as Kaworu got back onto his feet, and kicked Shinji several times in the side of the leg as hard as he could. Kaworu, out of frustration, yelled at Shinji that his time was over before picking him up, and attempted to hit him with a Uranage. However, Shinji was able to backflip out of Kaworu's grip and hit him with several Knife-Edge Chops, but Kaworu was able to grab one of those Knife-Edge Chops, pick him up in a Fireman's Carry, and hit Shinji with a Death Valley Driver. The crowd booed as Kaworu picked Shinji back up, and hit him with a Single Knee Gutbuster before going for another pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

"Kaworu maintaining control of this match, making sure that Shinji can't quicken the pace of this match!" Beth exclaimed as Kaworu stomped on Shinji's gut and right leg several times before Kaworu threw Shinji into the ring apron, the crowd booing as Kaworu playfully slapped Shinji a couple of times in the face. Kaworu then grabbed Shinji and once again attempted to hit him with the Uranage off of the ring apron, but the crowd went back to cheering as Shinji attempted to counter with multiple back elbows to the side of the head, staggering Kaworu. Shinji pushed Kaworu away, kicked Kaworu in the gut and the leg several times, and then attempted to hit him with a Spanish Fly off of the apron. However, Kaworu was able to counter this with a Savate Kick onto the apron, grabbing Shinji, and throwing him off of the apron with that Uranage he had been trying to hit for the past few minutes.

"Kaworu just threw Shinji to the side like he was nothing but a piece of trash!" Beth exclaimed in disgust as Kaworu rolled back into the ring, and told the referee to count Shinji out, the crowd booing as Kaworu sat on the top rope, confident that he had just won the match.

"Say what you want about it, Beth, but it looks as though it's going to work," Okabe countered as Shinji continued lying on the floor, holding his back in pain while Senku yelled at Shinji to just stay down.

Ref: …4…5

"Shinji hasn't moved since getting hit with that Uranage! Okabe may be right here, and this may be the end of not only the match but the end of Shinji's incredible 10-month BTWF United States Championship reign!" Cornette exclaimed as Kaworu put both of his hands behind his back, telling the crowd chanting for Shinji that their chanting wasn't going to do anything. On the outside, Shinji tried pulling himself back to his feet while continuing to hold his back in pain.

Ref: …6…7…8

"We're only two seconds away from Shinji losing the BTWF United States Championship!" Beth exclaimed in worry as Shinji was finally able to pull himself back up to his feet, the crowd cheering. Senku attempted to knock Shinji back down while Kaworu distracted the referee, but the crowd cheered louder as Shinji knocked Senku into the announcers' table, hitting him with a hard punch to the face. Shinji slid back into the ring, with Kaworu attempting to hit a Trust Fall Diving Elbow Drop to Shinji's back, but Shinji saw it coming and rolled out of the way before rolling Kaworu up with a Magistral Cradle.

Ref: 1…2..

Kaworu kicked out and attempted to knock Shinji down with a Clothesline, but Shinji was able to duck and hit Kaworu with the Lethal Combination before pushing him into the ropes. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji hit Kaworu with a Fly to the Moon (Superkick), sending Kaworu over the top rope, and staggering onto the apron. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji ran the ropes, and hit Kaworu with a Running Springboard DDT, sending the top of Kaworu's head crashing onto the steel ring apron. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji immediately hit Senku in the face with another Fly to the Moon (Superkick) before moving the cover off of the commentary table.

"Shinji's got something planned with our table, and whatever it is, I think we better move," Cornette explained as Shinji grabbed Kaworu and Senku, threw them on top of the table, hit several punches to the back of both Kaworu and Senku's heads. The crowd exploded into cheers as Shinji limped over to the apron, and climbed up to the top turnbuckle. Shinji slapped the side of his right leg several times, and after looking back at Senku and Kaworu still lying on the table, the crowd exploded into cheers as Shinji dove off of the top rope, sending both Senku and Kaworu through the commentary table. The crowd chanted 'Holy Shit!' as Shinji laid down next to Kaworu and Senku, holding his right leg in pain.

Ref: 1…2…3…4

"Oh, good Lord! Shinji just took both Kaworu and Senku out with a massive Moonsault from the top rope and through our commentary table!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji once again slapped the side of his leg several more times before pulling himself back to his feet. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji grabbed Kaworu, threw him back into the ring, climbed back up to the top rope, and hit Kaworu with a Frog Splash before rolling back to his feet. The crowd's cheers increased in volume before Shinji began preparing for the Curb Stomp. Kaworu coughed and attempted to stand back up, but Kaworu fell back onto all fours, the crowd's cheers reaching explosive levels as Shinji ran out of the corner, hitting Kaworu with the Peace of Mind (Curb Stomp) before falling into the pinfall.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Shinji Ikari has won the third fall, therefore, here is your winner and still the BTWF United States Champion, 'Undisputed' Shinji Ikari!" Tim Barr announced, the crowd's cheers continuing to reverberate all around the arena. Shinji laid down in the ring, holding the side of his head and the side of his right leg in pain as the ringside attendant went to grab the BTWF United States Championship. The crowd continued cheering and chanting for Shinji as the ringside attendant gave the BTWF United States Championship to the referee, who in turn handed it to a still-lying Shinji.

"Shinji proved Kaworu, Senku, and his doubters wrong, proving that he still has what it takes to retain the BTWF United States Championship!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji sat up, and raised the BTWF United States Championship over his head, the crowd cheering loudly. Meanwhile, Senku grabbed Kaworu, and pulled him out of the ring while limping away, yelling at Shinji that the BTWF United States Championship was going to be his on Octane. Shinji, while pulling himself back up to his feet, responded that Senku was never going to get his hands on the BTWF United States Championship.

"Shinji now has a date with Kaworu's protégé, Senku, in only a few days. And the United States Championship will be on the line," Okabe reminded as while Shinji and Senku exchanged harsh words with each other, the crowd booed as Laxus Dreyar slid into the ring, positioned himself in the corner, and waited for Shinji to turn around. When Shinji did turn around, the crowd booed louder as Laxus hit Shinji with a Raging Bolt (Goldberg-Esque Spear), jumping up and roaring at the jeering crowd. Mirajane then sauntered into the ring, and while Laxus was yelling at the booing crowd, she picked up the BTWF United States Championship from the fallen champion.

"I think Shinji has bigger problems ahead, as the undefeated Laxus Dreyar still has his eyes set on not only Shinji but the BTWF United States Championship!" Beth exclaimed as Mirajane sauntered over to Laxus, presenting him with the BTWF United States Championship. Laxus picked Mirajane up bridal style, the crowd booing as Laxus put a foot over a downed Shinji's chest while Mirajane raised the BTWF United States Championship over her head and next to Laxus' head. Laxus, while holding Mirajane, invited Senku to come into the ring, but Senku refused, saying that he had no reason to go in the ring with him right now.

"The message is clear; whoever is United States Champion by the end of Octane, Laxus wants them at StarShow!" Cornette exclaimed as Laxus and Mirajane kissed while posing with the BTWF United States Championship. The camera then panned to the backstage area in the middle of their celebration, where the camera focused on Denki Kaminari and Tim Scam standing next to Jack Korpela.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with Denki Kaminari and Tim Scam. Denki, in the main event of this show, you will be one of the six participants in the Elimination Chamber match to determine the #1 contender for the BTWF Championship at StarShow. My question, Kaminari, is how are you feeling heading into your first PPV main event?" Jack asked, moving the microphone closer to Kaminari's mouth. Kaminari took a deep breath and patted Scam on the shoulder before responding.

"You'd think I'd feel great. This is what I've deserved since coming into the BTWF and dropping that dead weight known as KIRISHIMA. I have the opportunity to earn the opportunity of a lifetime; a BTWF Championship match in the main event of StarShow. But I'll be honest with you, I'm actually pretty upset," Kaminari admitted, glaring down at Jack, who moved the microphone back to underneath his mouth.

"Why do you feel upset about being in this main event?" Jack asked. However, instead of Kaminari, Scam was the one who grabbed the microphone, put a hand on Kaminari's shoulder, and responded to Jack's question.

"I guess you haven't seen the online chatter about Kaminari being in this match. They're saying that Kaminari isn't going to make it to the end of this match, that he's going to be the first one eliminated, and that he doesn't deserve this opportunity. That's why Kaminari's upset; people are still doubting his abilities after everything that he's been able to accomplish since coming under my tutelage," Scam explained, with Kaminari nodding in agreement. Jack nodded and attempted to take the microphone back, but Scam maintained a grip on the microphone, and Kaminari pushed Jack away from him, allowing Scam to continue talking into the microphone.

"Everyone in this Elimination Chamber match claims that they're hungry for a chance at the BTWF Championship, but none of them are as hungry for the BTWF Championship as Denki Kaminari. He's been insulted and ridiculed as a loser by not only the fans in these arenas but also the wrestlers he's been forced to share a locker room with! And even now as he has racked up win after win after win, people STILL doubt him and his ability to win this Chamber match!" Scam yelled into the camera, growling while trying to take some deep breaths to calm himself down. Kaminari patted Scam on the back before taking the microphone out of his hand, silently thanking him for the support before beginning to speak himself.

"What Scam is trying to say is that I AM going to be the one who wins this Chamber match, and I'm going to be the one who wins the BTWF Championship in the main event of StarShow," Kaminari said, throwing the microphone back at Korpela before walking away from the backstage interview area with Scam in tow. Korpela looked a little shaken before the camera panned back to the stage, where 'One Finger and A Fist' by Drowning Pool played, the crowd booing as Owen came out of the back, raising both his fists in the air with his eyes closed and his mouth twisted into a frown.

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the BTWF Championship! Introducing the challenger, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Owen Campbell!" Tim Barr announced as Owen's frown turned into a smirk, looking over at the booing crowd before putting his hands down, and pointing to the back. The crowd's boos increased in volume as BTWF World Tag Team Champions Joe Wolf & Charlie Bonifer, and Manabo came out of the back with him. Bonifer, Manabo, and Joe high-fived Owen, with Joe telling Owen to make them all proud.

"Owen has been saying for the past several weeks how much it angered him that Natsu became the franchise of the BTWF Octane brand instead of him. Owen claims that he worked just as hard as Natsu, but wasn't given any of the chances that he was," Cornette explained as Owen shot both his fists in the air again, the crowd continuing to boo as Owen made his way down the entranceway. The rest of the Chaos Conspiracy followed him down the entranceway, with Bonifer and Joe showing off their BTWF World Tag Team Championships while Manabo patted Owen on the chest and the back, telling the booing fans that they were looking at the next BTWF Champion.

"Owen sounds like he's been jealous of Natsu's success, but tonight is his chance to prove all his complaining right," Beth responded as Owen stopped at the ringside area, fist-bumped Joe, Bonifer, and Manabo, and walked over to the steel steps. Joe, Bonifer, and Manabo moved around the ringside area while Owen walked up the steel steps. Owen, while on top of the steel steps, shot both of her fists in the air again, seemingly basking in the booing crowd's response to him before walking over the top rope and into the ring. Owen walked to the center of the ring, and stomped on the center of the ring, the camera shaking to make it seem like there was an earthquake.

"Owen's already a giant of a man, but with the rest of Chaos Conspiracy by his side, his chances of winning the BTWF Championship have increased 10 fold," Okabe explained as Owen went into the corner, and simply waited for his opponent to come out. A moment later, 'Indestructible' by Disturbed played, the crowd exploding into cheers as pyro shot out of the sides of the TitanTron and the stage. After the pyro went off, Natsu Dragneel came walking out with the BTWF Championship around his waist, a wide smile on his face before stopping at the center of the stage, and doing the 'Dra-gon-eel' taunt.

"And introducing the champion, from Magnolia Fiore, he is the BTWF Champion, 'Indestructible' Natsu Dragneel!" Tim Barr announced the crowd cheering as Natsu looked at the ring, noting the fact that the ring was surrounded by Chaos Conspiracy. Natsu smirked and pointed at the entrance, the crowd continuing to cheer as Death the Kid, Black Star, and Gene Belcher walked out with him. Joe, Bonifer, and Manabo were not happy with this revelation, arguing that they shouldn't be out here. Owen, meanwhile, didn't look worried and continued looking confident as Natsu came out with his own entourage.

"Natsu, wisely, coming out with his own group, making sure that he can have a fair fight against the Chaos Conspiracy!" Beth exclaimed as Natsu high-fived Kid, Black Star, and Gene before the four of them walked down the entranceway. The crowd continued cheering as Natsu began high-fiving and fist-bumping the fans in the front row while Kid, Black Star, and Gene did the same thing, with Owen continuing to simply stare at Natsu and the BTWF Championship around his waist. Once Natsu made it to the ringside area, Natsu did the 'Dra-gon-eel' taunt again along with the fans in the arena before rolling into the ring from underneath the bottom rope.

"That will certainly help Natsu's chances against Owen, but it's still not a guarantee that he will retain," Okabe responded as Natsu jumped back to his feet in the middle of the ring, raised his fists in the air, and jumped around before running into the corner. Natsu looked back at Owen before giving the crowd another 'Dra-gon-eel' taunt while Kid, Black Star, and Gene surrounded the ring, making sure that they were next to a member of the Chaos Conspiracy in an attempt to keep them from interfering. Natsu then jumped down from the top turnbuckle and gave the BTWF Championship to the referee, who raised it up over his head before giving it to the ringside attendant.

"Owen has beaten Natsu before, and while it may have been months ago, Okabe does have some reason to be confident in Owen winning," Cornette responded as the referee told the timekeeper to ring the bell to start the match. After the bell rang, Natsu attempted to rush at Owen, but Owen was able to throw Natsu into the corner, the crowd booing as he gave Natsu some tickets to the gun show. Natsu rolled his eyes, and chuckled before rocketing out of the corner, putting Owen in a Side Headlock. The crowd continued cheering as Natsu hit several punches to the side of Owen's head while he was still in the headlock. Owen then picked Natsu up and attempted to throw Natsu away from him, but Natsu was able to backflip behind Owen, and hit him with a Standing Dropkick to the back, sending Owen staggering, though he was able to keep himself on his feet.

"Natsu trying to use his quickness against Owen, but Owen showing that he's not going to go down that easily!" Beth exclaimed as Natsu hit several punches to the side of Owen's head, but when he attempted to hit a Jumping Spin Kick on Owen, Owen dodged him, and once again threw him into the corner. Owen attempted to run into the corner, but Natsu countered by raising his feet, sending Owen's face crashing into his feet. The crowd continued cheering as Natsu jumped up to the middle rope and hit him with a Middle Rope Missile Dropkick to the chest. Owen staggered away, and Natsu responded by hitting Owen with several kicks to the sides, but Owen was able to grab one of Owen's legs and slapped him in the face several times.

"Owen showing just how confident he is, slapping the taste right out of Natsu's mouth!" Natsu exclaimed as Owen pushed Natsu into the corner, and immediately responded with a Frying Pan Chop across the chest. The crowd continued booing as Owen hit several forearms to the side of Natsu's head before running the ropes and attempting to hit him with a Running Corner Forearm, but Natsu was able to roll out of the way and kick Owen in the back of the head. The crowd continued cheering as Natsu grabbed Owen, and attempted to hit him with a German Suplex out of the corner, but Owen responded with several Back Elbows to the side of the head, turned around, and hit a stunned Natsu with a Standing Clothesline.

"And Owen, taking Natsu straight down to the ground with a Standing Clothesline. Let that sink in for a second; Natsu has hit Owen with so many strikes, but Owen was able to not only stay on his feet, but Owen only needed one to knock Natsu down," Okabe explained as Owen ran the ropes, and attempted to hit Natsu with a Jumping Elbow Drop, but Natsu was able to roll out of the way, sending Owen falling right on his arm. The crowd began cheering again as Natsu ran the ropes, and hit Owen with a Running Jumping Rolling Leg Drop across the back of Owen's head. The crowd continued cheering as Natsu ran the ropes, and hit Owen with a Running Basement Dropkick to the side of the head to put him on his back before going for the pinfall.

"Natsu has Owen down now, but he has to make sure that Owen stays down if he wants any chance of retaining the BTWF Championship," Okabe explained as Natsu hit several leg drops across Owen's throat before putting Owen in a seated position, and kicked him several times in the back. Natsu attempted to hit a Split-Legged Moonsault from the corner, but Owen rolled into the corner, causing Natsu to land on his feet. Natsu then attempted to hit another Running Dropkick, but Owen was able to catch Natsu in midair. Owen attempted to hit Natsu with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex, but Natsu hit Owen several times in the face with Headbutts. However, Owen was able to maintain his grip on Natsu and throw him over the top rope and onto the floor with an Overhead Belly-to-Belly Suplex.

"Owen just throwing Natsu out of the ring like he was a piece of trash!" Beth exclaimed as Owen walked out of the ring and onto the apron as Natsu staggered back to his feet, holding his back in pain. Before Owen could do anything, Natsu was able to kick the front of Owen's leg several times, the crowd cheering as Natsu climbed up onto the apron, jumped off of the middle rope, and hit Owen with a Springboard Kick to the side of the head, sending him staggering in front of the steel ring post. The crowd continued cheering as Natsu hit Owen with several kicks to the side of the head before running at Owen, attempting to hit him with a Running Crossbody. However, Owen was able to catch him and attempted to hit him with a Fallaway Slam, but Natsu was able to land on another side of the ring, and hit Owen with a Neckbreaker across the top rope, sending him falling onto the floor.

"Natsu sending Owen falling out onto the floor, nearly breaking his neck in the process!" Cornette exclaimed as Natsu started climbing back onto the top turnbuckle, the crowd exploding as he hit a Diving Somersault Senton onto Owen, sending him down on the floor. The crowd continued cheering as Natsu grabbed Owen by the hair, and hit him with multiple punches to the side of the head, sending him staggering into the fan barricade. Natsu backed away, and then ran at Owen, hitting him with a Spinning Heel Kick to the side of the face, sending Owen falling over the fan barricade. Natsu then grabbed Owen's face and draped his face over the top of the fan barricade before running to the ring and climbing back onto the ring apron.

"Owen and Natsu are delivering the chaos that we expected outside of the ring!" Beth exclaimed as Natsu springboarded off of the middle rope, attempting to hit him with a Springboard Crossbody, but Owen was able to catch him while in the crowd. The crowd continued booing as Owen threw Natsu from over the fan barricade and onto the floor. Owen then jumped over the fan barricade, and hit Natsu with a Tope Con Hilo to Natsu's chest from the crowd and onto the floor, with the crowd looking on in awe. Owen then picked Natsu back up, and threw her into the steel ring apron chest first, sending him flying to the ringside. Natsu staggered towards the commentary table, with Owen clubbing Natsu in the back several times before smashing his face into the top of the commentary table a couple of times.

"I'm still in shock at seeing Owen springboarding over the fan barricade and onto Natsu's chest. That's not something I'd ever thought I'd see," Okabe noted as Natsu attempted to fight back with several kicks to the gut. However, Owen grabbed one of Natsu's legs, picked him up, and hit him with a One-Handed Spinebuster that sent his back almost bouncing off of the steel ring apron. Owen then pushes him back into the ring before sliding back into the ring and hitting Natsu with a Sliding Elbow Drop across the chest. The Chaos Conspiracy applauded as Owen stomped on Natsu several times before stepping on his chest, the crowd booing louder as Natsu tried to pull his foot off.

"Owen practically squished Natsu's ribs with his weight! I wonder how many of them are broken at this point!" Cornette exclaimed as Owen grabbed Natsu by the hair, and threw him back into the corner. Owen hit Natsu several times with Forearms to the side of the face before running the ropes and hitting Natsu with a Running Body Avalanche. Natsu almost falls out of the corner, but Owen pushes him back into the corner, hitting him with several Back Elbows to the side of his head before throwing him out of the corner and to the other side of the ring. Natsu got back onto his feet while holding his back, but Owen turned him inside out by hitting him with a Savate Kick before going for the pinfall.

"Owen almost knocked Natsu's head off with that kick to the head! I don't know how Natsu kicked out of that, but I'm glad he did!" Beth exclaimed as Owen ran the ropes, and hit another Jumping Elbow Drop to the chest. Natsu attempted to crawl away from each other, but Owen picked Natsu up and hit him with a Sidewalk Slam Backbreaker. The crowd continued booing as Owen hit Natsu with another Sidewalk Slam Backbreaker before hitting Natsu with a Sidewalk Slam. Owen then put Natsu on his knees, and hit him with a hard Knee Strike to the face, sending him staggering into the ropes. Owen then hit Natsu with multiple clubs to the back before Irish whipping him into the ropes, but when Natsu attempted to rebound with a Hurricanrana, Owen caught Natsu and threw him into the corner with a Corner Awesome Bomb.

"Ow! Natsu's neck bouncing off the top turnbuckle after that Awesome Bomb into the corner!" Okabe exclaimed as when Natsu bounced off out of the corner, Owen kicked Natsu in the gut and hit him with a Snap Powerbomb before going for another pinfall, stacking him up for the pinfall.

Owen looked shocked as Natsu kicked out, but the crowd continued booing as Owen stomped on Natsu's gut and then ran the ropes to hit Natsu with a Jumping Senton Bomb across Natsu's chest. Owen then choked Natsu on the ground, though the crowd began cheering as Natsu kicked Owen in the side of the head several times while he was on the ground, sending Owen staggering away while holding the side of his head. Natsu pulled himself back to his feet, and hit Owen with a Jumping Spin Kick to the side of Owen's face, sending him staggering into the corner. The crowd continued cheering as Natsu rolled away, and then rolled into the corner, attempting a Jumping Corner Clothesline, but Owen was able to catch Natsu mid-jump, hitting him with a Chokeslam Backbreaker.

"Owen once again slamming Natsu down back first! And this time, Natsu's back crashed against the hard bony part of Owen's knee!" Cornette exclaimed as Owen walked over Natsu, and jumped on his back a couple of times before picking him up, and putting him in a Bearhug. The crowd booed as Owen ground his balled-up fists into the small of Natsu's back. Natsu attempted to pull himself away from Owen, but Owen continued to squeeze the life out of Natsu, who began to fade. After a minute, Natsu began hitting Owen with a couple of headbutts to the face, sending him staggering, and Owen's loosened grip allowed Natsu to loosen both of his arms and hit Owen multiple times in the sides of the face with several punches. Natsu then hit Owen with a couple of Bell Claps to the side of the head, finally pushing Owen away, and hitting him in the face with a Superkick.

"Natsu fighting back once again, nearly knocking Owen's jaw off with a Superkick!" Beth exclaimed as Natsu attempted to hit another Superkick, but Owen swatted the kick away and knocked Natsu down with a clubbing blow to the face. The crowd continued booing as Owen hit a hard kick to the chest before running the ropes and hitting a Running Basement Single Leg Dropkick to the side of Natsu's face. Owen grabbed Natsu by the throat and picked him up in one hand, attempting to hit him with a Chokeslam, but the crowd exploded into cheers as Natsu countered the Chokeslam attempt into a Jumping DDT.

"Natsu finally sending Owen back down, hitting him with a vicious Jumping DDT!" Cornette exclaimed as Natsu rolled into the corner to try and recover from the hellacious beating he had received. Owen staggered back to his feet and attempted to hit a Running Corner Splash, but Natsu was able to move out of the way, sending Owen staggering after running into the top turnbuckle face first. Natsu then hit Owen in the side of the head with a hard kick to the face before jumping up to the top rope. The crowd continued cheering as Natsu dived off of the top rope, hitting Owen in the face with a Diving Kick, sending Owen falling into a seated position.

"Natsu finally has control fully on his side again! Can he maintain it to hold the BTWF Championship!?" Beth exclaimed as Natsu kicked Owen in the back before rolling to the side, and hitting Owen in the side of the head with a Superkick. Owen stood up, holding the side of his head in pain, but Natsu immediately ran at Owen and hit him with several Clotheslines. Owen staggered but remained on his feet before Natsu ran the ropes, springboarded off of the middle rope, and hit Owen with a Springboard Spinning Heel Kick. Owen staggered around once again, and Natsu attempted to take Owen down with a Backstabber, but Owen was able to catch Natsu, put him in a Powerslam position, and threw him into the corner, hitting him with a Snake Eyes, sending his face into the top turnbuckle.

"Owen continuing to show off the strength despite getting hit with multiple shots to the head by Natsu!" Okabe exclaimed as Owen ran the ropes, attempting to hit him with a Running Crossbody, but Natsu was able to duck with the splits, sending Owen crashing onto the mat. The crowd continued cheering as Natsu ran the ropes, and hit Owen in the chest with the Rolling Fire (Rolling Thunder) before going for the pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

Ref: 1…2…

After Owen kicked out, Natsu got back to his feet, hit a Twisting Leg Drop across the throat, and started climbing back up to the top turnbuckle. Natsu does the 'Dra-gon-eel' taunt for the cheering fans before attempting the Five Star Dragon Splash (Five Star Frog Splash). However, Owen was able to counter by grabbing Natsu's throat, the crowd booing as Owen got back to his feet, and hit Natsu with a Chokeslam. The crowd continued booing as Owen dragged Natsu to the corner, and climbed up to the middle rope for the Banzai Drop, but the crowd cheered as Natsu got back to his feet, and began clubbing Owen in the back multiple times. The crowd exploded into cheers as Natsu jumped off of the middle rope, and attempted to hit Owen with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb.

"Natsu trying to powerbomb the colossus Owen! Can he do it!?" Cornette exclaimed as Natsu attempted to pull Owen out of the corner, but Owen shocked Natsu and the crowd by hitting Owen with a Hurricanrana out of the corner. Natsu got back to his feet, and Owen was able to knock Natsu back down with a Throat Thrust, but when Owen tried to hit the Earthquake Splash, Natsu rolled out of the way, sending Owen crashing into the mat. Natsu staggered back to his feet and kicked him in the side of the head. Natsu then ran into the corner and hit Owen with a Split-Legged Moonsault to the chest before going for another pinfall.

Natsu looked frustrated that Owen kicked out, but decided to once again climb back up to the top rope, but the crowd booed as Bonifer jumped onto the apron to yell at Natsu, which Natsu responded to with a couple of kicks to the side of the head. Death the Kid grabbed Bonifer's leg and attempted to pull him off of the apron, but Bonifer kicked Kid in the face a couple of times before hitting Kid with an Asai Moonsault. By the time Natsu focused back on Owen, he threw Natsu off of the top rope, but he inadvertently knocked the referee down by sending Natsu into him.

"And the referee is down! Prepare for an increase in chaos!" Okabe exclaimed as Owen picked Natsu up by the hair, but Natsu countered with a Pele Kick, sending Owen staggering into a corner. Before Natsu could take advantage, Bonifer rushed into the ring and knocked him down with a Flying Forearm. The crowd continued booing as Bonifer mounted Natsu, and hit him with multiple punches to the side of the face while Black Star rushed into the ring, pulled Bonifer off, and exchanged multiple punches with each other. Black Star then staggered Bonifer with a Jumping Knee to the face, but Joe rushed into the ring and hit Black Star in the back of the head with the BTWF World Tag Team Championship belt.

"You're right about that, Okabe! The groups Natsu and Owen brought to the ring with them are starting to make their presence known!" Cornette exclaimed as Joe picked Black Star up, and attempted to hit him with the Headlock Driver, but Gene came into the ring, and hit Joe with the Stunner, throwing him out of the ring. Gene attempts to help Natsu back to his feet, but Owen rushes out of the corner and hits Gene with a Running Body Block. Owen then grabs Black Star and Gene and throws them out of the ring, the crowd continuing to boo as Owen ran the ropes, and hit a downed Natsu with the Earthquake Splash.

"Owen squishing Natsu with the Earthquake Splash! But there's no referee!" Beth exclaimed as before Owen got back to his feet, the crowd exploded into cheers when Death the Kid dived off of the top rope and hit Owen in the back with the Coffin Drop. Bonifer attempted to rush at Kid, but Kid pulled down the top rope, sending Bonifer falling out of the ring. Joe also attempted to rush Kid, but he was able to vault Joe over the top rope, sending him crashing into Bonifer, the crowd continuing to cheer as Kid raised his fists in celebration. The crowd then booed as Manabo ran at Kid, and knocked him down with a Big Boot before picking him up with both hands by the throat. Manabo attempted to hit Kid with a Two-Handed Sit-Out Chokebomb, but the crowd exploded into cheers as Kid was able to counter, sending Manabo falling out of the ring with the Frankensteiner.

"Kid taking out all three members of the Chaos Conspiracy! But they're already getting back up on the outside!" Beth exclaimed as Kid climbed back up to the top rope, the crowd exploding into cheers as while Black Star and Gene brawled with the Chaos Conspiracy on the outside, Kid dived on all three men with another Coffin Drop, while inside the ring, Owen had grabbed a steel chair, and hit Natsu in the back several times with it. Owen then put the steel chair onto Natsu's gut, climbed back up to the top rope, flipped off the booing crowd, and attempted to hit Natsu with the top turnbuckle version of the Banzai Drop, but the crowd cheered as Natsu, from the ground, threw the chair into the back of Owen's legs.

"The referee is still out, but Natsu is still able to fight back, preventing Owen from using his weight and the chair to crush his chest!" Okabe exclaimed as Natsu picked himself up, grabbed the steel chair from the floor, and hit Owen multiple times in the back before pulling him down from the corner. Owen, however, grabbed the chair, pushed Natsu away with a Back Elbow to the side of the head, and attempted to hit him in the head with the steel chair. However, Natsu is able to jump out of the way, hitting Owen with a Jumping Spin Kick to the chair, sending it crashing right into Owen's face, sending Owen falling into a seated position in front of the bottom turnbuckle.

"Natsu with the Van Daminator! Owen's busted open, and prone in the corner!" Cornette exclaimed as Natsu started climbing up to the top rope with the chair still in hand. However, before Natsu could dive off of the top rope, Manabo came rushing to the corner and started brawling with Natsu while he was on the top turnbuckle. However, Natsu smacked him in the top of the head a couple of times with the steel chair, but this allowed Joe and Bonifer to wake Owen up. This, in turn, allowed Owen to get back up to his feet, and knock Natsu off of the top turnbuckle with a Running Savate Kick, sending Natsu falling through the Spanish commentary table.

"And I thought that this match had come to an end thanks to that Van Daminator, but thanks to the Chaos Conspiracy, Owen has once again taken control!" Okabe exclaimed as Owen rolled out of the ring, wiped some of the blood off of his face, and grabbed Natsu by the throat. The referee had gotten back to his feet at this time and yelled at Manabo to get out of the ring while the Chaos Conspiracy were brawling with Kid, Gene, and Black Star. Owen grabbed a prone Natsu and slammed his face into the pieces of the broken table before dragging him by his singlet and throwing him back into the ring. The referee moved the chair out of the ring while Owen slid back into the ring after Natsu, and when Natsu attempted to stand up, Owen took him down with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex before going for the pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

"Natsu and Owen both showing just how much this title match means to them, pulling out all the stops and then some to win this match!" Beth exclaimed as Owen pulled on his blonde hair in frustration. Owen grabbed Natsu by the throat and yelled at him to stay down, hitting him with several Forearms to the face before getting up and heading to the corner. Owen climbed all the way back up to the top rope, telling the booing audience that he was not going for the Banzai Drop. Owen then attempted to hit Natsu with a Top Rope Moonsault, but Natsu was barely able to roll out of the way, the crowd exploding into cheers as Owen caused the ring to shake with the bouncing Owen did once he landed.

"And there's no water in the pool! Owen nearly broke the ring with that missed Moonsault!" Beth exclaimed as Natsu grabbed Owen and hit him with multiple Kawada Kicks to the face, and the crowd exploded into cheers as Natsu picked Owen up in a Package position. The crowd's cheers somehow grew even louder as Natsu was able to hit Owen with the Fire Dragon King's Destruction (Package Fallaway Powerbomb) with enough force to send Owen crashing into the corner upside down. Natsu then stomped on an upside-down Owen's chest before climbing up to the top rope on the other side of the ring.

"Natsu with that insane display of strength! And he's not finished with Owen yet!" Cornette exclaimed as before Manabo could try and interfere again, Kid hit Manabo in the back multiple times with the steel chair that Owen and Natsu used earlier in the match. Bonifer and Joe continued brawling with Black Star and Gene while Natsu balanced himself on the top rope, and hit Owen with a Coast to Coast right to the face. Owen rolled out of the corner, holding his bleeding face in pain while Natsu began climbing back up to the top turnbuckle and hitting a downed Owen with the Five Star Dragon Splash (Five Star Frog Splash) before going for the pinfall.

*Bell Rings*

"Here is your winner, and still the BTWF Champion, 'Indestructible' Natsu Dragneel!" Tim Barr announced as Natsu rolled off of Owen, holding his chest and back while the referee raised his arm in victory. Meanwhile, the ringside attendant got the BTWF Championship from the timekeeper and gave the championship to the referee, who gave the title to a downed Natsu. On the outside, the brawl continued between the remaining members of the Chaos Conspiracy, Gene Belcher, Black Star, and Death the Kid. The brawl continued up the entranceway, with Manabo attempting to grab Gene to hit him with a Chokeslam, but Gene kicked Manabo in the gut, hitting him with multiple Dusty Elbows to the top of the head, sending him staggering to the backstage area.

"Natsu was able to prove why he's the face of Octane tonight, but we still have action outside of the ring!" Cornette exclaimed as Natsu crawled over to the ropes, the crowd cheering louder as Natsu pulled himself back up to his feet, raising the BTWF Championship in the air. Natsu looked up at the Elimination Chamber structure that was above the ring before looking at the camera, telling the men competing in the #1 contenders Elimination Chamber match coming up that they were in for a major fight at StarShow, and that they would have to pry the BTWF Championship out of his cold, dead hands.

"Natsu sending a message to the participants in the Elimination Chamber match, and I hope they heed that message because if this match proved anything, it's that Natsu is willing to do anything in his power to keep the BTWF Championship around his waist!" Okabe exclaimed as outside of the ring, Owen rolled out of the ring and noticed the blood pouring from his face. Owen ran his bloody hands through his hair, frustrated that he had lost his big title match, and knocked over the steel steps with a kick, telling the camera that this wasn't over and that he would get that championship one day or another.

"Owen has nothing to be ashamed of here because as much as he cheated here, he put up a hell of a fight against the champion," Beth admitted as Natsu continued celebrating with the BTWF Championship, lifting it over his head while jumping onto the top turnbuckle. The crowd continued chanting for Natsu as Owen walked to the back while holding the side of his bloody head before the camera panned to a room full of miniature television screens, and Scott Stanford sitting on a chair behind a desk.

"Hello ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Stanford Station. I'm your host, Scott Stanford, and before we get to our main event tonight, let's see how the night began on the pre-show," Scott explained, the camera panning to one of the TV screens, showing Mermaid Heel (Millianna & Kagura Mikazuchi) vs. Heather Nguyen & Isabela Madrigal.

"The contentious team of Mermaid Heel battled two top prospects from BTWF Evolve, Heather Nguyen and Isabela Madrigal, who fell to the more experienced team in a little over ten minutes. It seems that Millianna and Kagura's relationship is improving, as Kagura nodded in appreciation and acceptance of Millianna's performance in the match," Scott explained as the television screen showed Kagura and Millianna hitting Isabela with the Siren's Call (German Suplex/Shining Wizard Combination), with Kagura taking Heather out with a Superkick while Millianna made the winning pin. The camera then panned to another television screen, showing Naruto Uzumaki vs. Sheldon Lee.

"Former BTWF World Tag Team Champions explode on the pre-show, as Naruto and Sheldon have decided to split up. Well…it was more Sheldon attacking Naruto from behind at a live event after losing a tag team match to Gene Belcher & Eddy. The two faced off tonight, with Sheldon able to defeat Naruto in a little over 6 minutes with his signature Top Rope Leg Drop," Scott explained as the television screen showed Sheldon countered Naruto's attempt at a Ninja Kick (Trouble in Paradise Kick) with a Knee Strike to the side of the face before climbing up to the top rope, hitting Naruto with his Top Rope Leg Drop, and went for the pinfall. The television camera then showed Misato Katsuragi vs. Alexis Rhodes.

"The legendary Misato Katsuragi issued an open challenge on the pre-show, and this was answered by Alexis Rhodes, who was bested in about 5 minutes after a Snap DDT/Moonsault combination," Scott explained, with Misato countering a Fireman's Carry attempt by Alexis by sliding out of her grasp, turning her around, hitting Alexis in the knee with a kick, and taking her down with a Snap DDT. Misato then jumped up to the top rope and hit Alexis with a Top Rope Moonsault to the chest before pinning Alexis with both of her legs back. Alex came out and celebrated with Misato while Alexis rolled out of the ring, looking frustrated at the fact that she had lost. The camera then panned to Gene Belcher vs. Manabo on another television screen.

"Gene Belcher started his revenge against the Chaos Conspiracy, battling Manabo in an all-out fight. Gene was able to win this match with the Stunner in around 8 minutes," Scott explained, the television screen showing Gene countering the attempt at Manabo's Sit-Out Double-Handed Chokebomb with a Frankensteiner. When Manabo staggered back to her feet, Gene hit him with a Stunner before going for the deep cover and getting the victory. While Gene was celebrating, however, Owen ran down to the ring, knocked Gene down with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex, and hit him with an Earthquake Splash. The crowd continued booing as Owen and Manabo hit Gene with a Double Chokeslam before the camera panned to the final television monitor, showcasing the Hollywood Hooligan vs. Nico.

"The main event of the pre-show was the Hollywood Hooligan vs. Nico, which got some bad blood added to it on Octane, where Nico slapped Mandy DeRoyale, Hooligan's valet, right in the face. The two had a back-and-forth match that went on for almost 13 minutes before Hooligan was able to seal the deal with several hard knee strikes, and the Hollywood Glitz (Inverted Facelock Spun into a Single Knee Facebreaker)," Scott explained as the television screen showed Hooligan and Nico exchanging strikes with each other before Nico kicked Hooligan in the side of the head. Nico attempted to go into the corner to hit the Lethal Injection (Running Enziguri), but Mandy grabbed his leg, distracting him long enough to allow Hooligan to hit Nico with a Running Bicycle Knee Strike. Hooligan leaned Nico into the ropes and hit him with several more Running Knee Strikes before hitting him with the Hollywood Glitz (Inverted Facelock Spun into a Single Knee Facebreaker) and pinning him. The camera then panned back to Scott and away from the wall of television screens.

"That is all for tonight's installment of the Stanford Station. I'll sign off for now, don't forget to enjoy our Elimination Chamber main event!" Scott exclaimed, waving goodbye to the fans before the camera panned back to the stage just in time for the main event.
