BTWF Octane (March Week 1)

The camera panned to the garage, where a yellow convertible was parked in the center of the parking lot. New #1 contender for the BTWF Championship Denki Kaminari and his manager/agent, Tim Scam, came out of the convertible, with their luggage behind them. While they were walking out of the garage and heading to the entrance to the arena, Todd Grisham rushed over to meet them with a microphone to his mouth, much to the chagrin of both Scam and Kaminari.

"Kaminari, Scam, welcome back to Octane. As we all saw at Last Gasp, you won the main event Elimination Chamber match to determine the new #1 contender for the BTWF at StarShow. This has been the moment you've been waiting for since you first became a wrestler. How are you feeling only a few weeks away from StarShow?" Todd asked as Kaminari rolled his eyes before patting Scam on the side of the arm. Scam nodded before moving Todd's microphone closer to his mouth.

"How Kaminari feels is absolutely irrelevant. What you should be asking is whether or not Kaminari deserves this, and even then, it would be a stupid question. Kaminari has toiled and worked for years and years, only to be passed over for the main event title opportunities by other wrestlers. But now, the BTWF doesn't have a choice but to give Kaminari the chance that he deserves, and the BTWF fans have no choice but to realize that Kaminari is the future of the Fanfiction Wrestling Multiverse," Scam soliloquized, patting a smirking Kaminari on the back. Kaminari simply nodded confidently before Todd took the microphone back and continued the interview.

"In the main event of tonight's Octane, Natsu will defend the BTWF Championship against Black Star. Do you plan on watching the match-" Todd attempted to ask before Kaminari pulled the microphone away from Todd and closer to his mouth.

"Of course, I'm going to get a front-row seat for that match. And when me and Scam come to the front row, we better be impressed. At StarShow, this is going to be my big moment in the sun, and I want Natsu to make sure that he's in the zone going into StarShow. That way, my winning of the BTWF Championship will be all the more memorable," Kaminari said. Before Todd could ask them any more questions, Kaminari and Scam walked away from Todd, heading into the building with a confident swagger. The camera then panned to the arena, with 'Are You Ready?' by Disturbed played, the crowd cheering as the pyro started shooting out of the stage and the sides of the TitanTron. The camera then panned around the arena before stopping at the commentary table, with Beth and Okabe waving at the crowd.

"Welcome to Octane, ladies and gentlemen! We're so close to the biggest PPV of the Fanfiction Wrestling Multiverse; StarShow. From Reno, Nevada, I'm Beth Vanderwood, along with Rintaro Okabe. Now, you may be expecting Jim Cornette to be joining us, but we have a new partner at the broadcast table! Ladies and gentlemen, Nigel McGuinness!" Beth introduced as the camera panned to the side, revealing Nigel McGuiness at the end of the commentary table.

"Thank you for the amazing introduction, Beth, and I absolutely chose the best time to join the broadcast team full-time! Three championship matches, grudge matches, and much more tonight!" Nigel exclaimed as he shook hands with Beth and Okabe, standing up to bask in the crowd's cheers and chants for him. Nigel and Beth then switched seats, with Nigel taking his place at the center of the announcers' table and his place as the new play-to-play commentator on Octane. As the commentary team prepared themselves, Damien Sandow's 2014 'Hallelujah' theme song played, the crowd booing as Senku Ishigami came walking out of the back with Kaworu following him.

"And speaking of title matches, Nigel, we're kicking off with the BTWF United States Championship match!" Okabe exclaimed as Senku and Kaworu shook hands in the middle of the stage, the crowd booing as Senku told the camera that he was going to avenge Kaworu's loss at Last Gasp. Senku continued talking to the camera, as he said that Shinji was also going to regret the beating that he gave him during the United States Championship match at Last Gasp. Kaworu patted Senku on the back and told him that he needed to focus on the upcoming match rather than the future.

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the BTWF United States Championship! Introducing the challenger, first, accompanied to the ring by Kaworu Nagisa, from the Kingdom of Science, Senku Ishigami!" Mary Hughes announced, and the crowd continued booing as Senku and Kaworu continued talking on their way to the ring, Kaworu whispered some strategy into Senku's ear, with Senku nodding in response, ignoring the fans booing them. When they got to the ringside area, Kaworu gave Senku some last-minute battle strategy and encouragement before walking to the side of the ring.

"Senku has a pinfall victory over Shinji Ikari on Octane, so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility to see Senku winning the BTWF United States Championship here tonight!" Nigel exclaimed as the crowd continued booing as Senku walked up the steel steps, and leaned over the top rope, smirking at the booing fans. Senku walked into the ring through the middle rope before walking to the center of the ring, kneeling on one knee, and ran his hand across the canvas of the ring. Kaworu applauded his charge as Senku jumped back up to his feet, and went into the corner to stretch, the crowd booing as Kaworu told the fans to show Senku some respect.

"But with how Shinji seems to crank it up to a whole other gear in title matches, Senku may not be prepared for the Shinji he meets in the ring tonight," Beth countered as the crowd exploded into cheers as 'Not Gonna Die' by Skillet played, Shinji coming running out of the back with the BTWF United States Championship around his waist. Shinji patted the BTWF United States Championship with both his hands before shooting both his fists in the air, causing pyro to shoot out from behind him. Shinji then punched the air with his right hand before stretching both his arms out with his hands opened before making his way down the entranceway.

"And introducing the champion, from Tokyo Japan, he is the BTWF United States Champion, 'Undisputed' Shinji Ikari!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd continuing to cheer and chant for Shinji as he high-fives fans in the front row. Shinji then hugs a couple of the younger members of the BTWF fanbase before looking right at Senku and telling him that what happened a couple of weeks ago isn't going to happen again. Senku simply smirked at him while stretching before Shinji ran to the ringside area, and jumped up to the apron, shooting his fists up again, causing pyro to go off of the corner posts.

"Shinji has his chest ravaged by Laxus and his Spear at Last Gasp, but Shinji doesn't seem to be effected at the moment. This could be mind games to keep from giving Senku a target to focus on in this title match, but we shall see as this match goes on," Okabe explained as Shinji springboarded into the ring, rolling into the center of the ring before taking the BTWF United States Championship off of around his waist, and raising the championship over his head. Shinji then looked over at Kaworu and showed off the fact that he was still the champion, the crowd cheering louder as Kaworu sneered at Shinji.

"Speaking of Laxus, it's weird that we haven't seen him in town yet. You'd think he'd be here for such a big title match," Beth explained as Senku walked out of the corner, patted the championship, and told Shinji that the title was going to be his. Shinji just shook his head with a smirk before giving the United States Championship to the referee. The referee raised the championship over his head before giving the title to one of the ringside attendants. The referee then made sure both Shinji and Senku were ready before telling the timekeeper to ring the bell to start the match.

"And the first title match of the night is underway! Who will walk out of that ring with the BTWF United States Championship!?" Nigel exclaimed as Senku and Shinji locked up in the middle of the ring, with Senku wringing Shinji's arm. The crowd cheered as Shinji countered that with a Japanese Arm Drag, and before Senku could get back to his feet, Shinji hit Senku with several Knife-Edge Chops to the chest while Senku was down on one knee. Shinji then picked Senku up and hit him with a Spinning Kick to the gut before Irish whipping him into the ropes. Shinji attempted to hit Senku with a Dropkick, but Senku was able to duck, and when Shinji landed on all fours, Senku was able to run the ropes, kick him in the chest with a Penalty Kick, and roll Shinji up with a Magistral Cradle.

"Senku trying to get the shock pin there, but Shinji kicked out before the referee could even strike the mat a second time!" Okabe exclaimed as Senku hit Shinji with several punches to the side of the head, and attempted to Irish whip him into the ropes, but Shinji was able to keep a hold on the ropes. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji kicked Senku in the legs and the chest several times before running the ropes and hitting a Running Forearm to the side of Senku's head. Shinji then ran the ropes and hit a Running Knee Drop across the top of Senku's forehead before running the ropes again and hitting a seated Senku with a Basement Dropkick to the face.

"This match starting off hot, Shinji showing Senku why he's been the United States Champion for 10 months!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji picked Senku back up and attempted to hit him with a Scoop Slam, but Senku was able to slide out of Shinji's grasp, and hit him in the back with a Dropkick, sending him staggering into the corner. Senku then grabbed Shinji by the hair and hit him with several clubs to the back before running the ropes, attempting to hit him with a Running Double Knee Strike. However, Shinji was able to escape, sending Senku's knees crashing into the turnbuckles before rolling Senku to the center of the ring on his knees, and hitting him with a Hurricanrana Driver before going for the pinfall.

"Shinji sending Senku's head almost through the canvas with that Hurricanrana Driver!" Nigel exclaimed as Shinji picked Senku back up, and hit him with several punches to the side of the head before kicking him in the gut. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji ran the ropes, and attempted to hit Senku with the Peace of Mind (Curb Stomp). However, Senku was able to dodge the attempted Peace of Mind (Curb Stomp) and locked him in a Sleeper Hold, which Shinji was able to quickly counter with a Jawbreaker. Senku staggered into the ropes, holding his mouth in pain before Shinji ran the ropes, and knocked Senku out of the ring and onto the apron with a Clothesline. Shinji then springboarded off of the middle rope, hitting Senku with a Springboard Triangle Enziguri, sending Senku falling onto the floor.

"Shinji sending Senku flying out of the ring, and Kaworu looks furious at what he's seeing!" Okabe exclaimed as Shinji clapped along with the fans before noticing that Senku was getting up, and ran the ropes to hit Senku with a Suicide Somersault Senton. Shinji then ran up the steel steps and shot his fists up in the air, the crowd exploding into cheers as Kaworu yelled at Senku to get back on his feet. Shinji then walked back over to Senku, picked him up, and attempted to throw him into the fan barricade, but Senku was able to reverse the throw, sending Shinji crashing into the fan barricade side-first.

"Senku is finally able to turn this match around, but he needs to make sure that he's not giving Shinji any room to breathe!" Nigel exclaimed as Senku kicked Shinji in the gut several times and attempted to Irish whip Shinji into the steel ring post. However, the crowd exploded into cheers as Shinji was able to swing around the steel ring post and throw Senku onto the floor with a Swinging Hurricanrana. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji grabbed Senku by the hair, and hit him with multiple forearms to the side of the face before sending Senku's face crashing into the fan barricade with a Reverse STO.

"You might have to take that back, Nigel, as Shinji has taken control of this match right back!" Beth responded as Shinji hit Senku with several more punches before throwing Senku back into the ring. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji hit Senku with a Tope Con Hilo to the back before jumping back onto the apron. Shinji waited for Senku to get back on his feet, but when Shinji attempted to hit a Springboard Knee Strike, but Senku was able to kick Shinji in the leg, sending Shinji's chest and midsection crashing onto the top rope. The crowd booed as Senku, with Shinji draped over the top rope, hit Shinji with several knee strikes to the face, much to Kaworu's delight and the crowd's chagrin.

"Well, Senku sent Shinji falling ribs-first onto the top rope, and those ropes are harder than they look, so the pain from that Spear Shinji took last night may be coming back in full force," Okabe exclaimed as Senku jumped up to the middle turnbuckle, and hit Shinji with a Diving Knee Drop to the back, sending him falling back down into the ring. The crowd continued booing as Senku stomped on Shinji's chest before picking him up and throwing him back into the corner. Senku hit Shinji with multiple knee strikes to the chest before running the ropes and hitting a Double Running Knee Strike to the chest. Before Shinji could fall down, Senku hit Shinji with a Snapmare and ran the ropes to hit Shinji in the back with a Sliding Knee Strike before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2.

"Senku targeting the chest and the back of the champion, which is an excellent strategy if he wants to prevent a second and third wind," Nigel explained as Senku picked Shinji back up, and hit him with a Back Kick to the gut before hitting him with a Scoop Slam. Shinji held his back in pain, and Senku responded by hitting a couple of kicks to the small of Shinji's back before throwing him into the ropes. Senku hit a couple of shots to the small of Shinji's back before turning around, and hitting him with multiple knee strikes to the gut. Senku then ran the ropes and hit a kneeling Shinji with a Swinging Neckbreaker, the crowd booing as Senku showed off his handiwork to the crowd.

"A very nice Swinging Neckbreaker by Senku, but he needs to make sure Shinji doesn't get back up because he will kick ass when given the chance," Beth advised as Senku picked Shinji up, put him back into the corner, and stomped on his gut multiple times. The crowd cheered as Shinji hit several punches to the side of Senku's face, but Senku countered with a Jumping Enziguri in the corner before picking Shinji up in a Suplex position and hitting him with a Gourdbuster that sent Shinji's chest crashing into the turnbuckles. The crowd continued booing as Senku put Shinji in a Tree of Woe, with his chest pressing against the turnbuckles. Kaworu applauded from the outside as Senku ran the ropes, and hit a Running Knee Strike to the small of Shinji's back before picking him back up in a seated position on the middle turnbuckle.

"Senku was able to quell the flames of Shinji's attempted comeback, but the question is for how much longer?" Okabe asked as Senku slapped Shinji in the back of his head before hitting Shinji with a Middle Rope Backstabber and going for another pinfall.

Senku looked shocked as Shinji kicked out, but quickly responded by mounting Shinji, and punching him in the face. When the referee pulled Senku off of Shinji, Senku immediately hit Shinji in the chest with a Jumping Double Foot Stomp. The crowd continued booing as Senku hit a couple of Elbow Drops to Shinji's chest before ending this combination with a Jumping Elbow Drop. Shinji attempted to roll away while coughing, but Senku responded by hitting a Baseball Slide Dropkick to Shinji's sides before locking him in a Boston Crab. The crowd chanted for Shinji as Senku pulled back as much as he could while Shinji tried to reach for the ropes, all the while, Kaworu was trying to quiet the crowd down.

"Kaworu has Shinji trapped in the middle of the ring! Could Senku be the one!?" Nigel asked as Shinji continued crawling to the ropes, the crowd cheering louder as Shinji was closer to the ropebreak. However, the crowd booed as Senku let go of the Boston Crab, transitioning into an STF, and rolled Shinji away from the ropes. Senku then pulled Shinji's head back as he immediately attempted to go back to the ropes, yelling in his ear to tap out. However, the crowd began cheering again as Shinji used one of his arms to hit Senku in the side of the head with several Back Elbows to the side of the head. With Senku's grip on the STF loosened, Shinji was able to roll out of the hold, and immediately locked Senku in a Crossface, the crowd cheering as Shinji rolled to the center of the ring, with Senku still in the Crossface.

"Oh God! Shinji has Senku locked in a Crossface! He may get the sudden tap out right here!" Beth exclaimed in shock as Senku attempted to roll over to the ropes again, but Shinji was able to pull Senku back. However, after another thirty seconds, Senku started punching Shinji in the face, and despite his best efforts, Senku was able to push Shinji off of him and push him into the corner. Senku immediately ran into the corner, hitting Shinji with a Running Back Elbow to the side of the face before putting him on the top turnbuckle. The crowd continued booing as Senku hit Shinji in the side of the face several times before following him to the top turnbuckle, hitting him with several more punches to the face.

"Senku is furious that he almost lost thanks to that surprise Crossface, and he's looking to finish Shinji off once and for all!" Nigel exclaimed as Senku attempted to put Shinji in position for a Superplex. The crowd cheered as Shinji began hitting Senku with multiple punches to the gut, and Senku responded with multiple clubs to the back and the back of the neck before attempting to hit him with a Superplex again. However, the crowd cheered as Shinji hit several headbutts to the side of Senku's head, before picking him up, with the crowd's cheers growing even louder as Shinji threw Senku off of the top turnbuckle with a Top Rope Gourdbuster, sending Senku crashing onto the mat chest and face first.

"What a counter by Shinji! Senku is now prone on the canvas while Shinji is still back on the top turnbuckle!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji balanced himself back on the top rope, and while Senku was attempting to sit up, Shinji dived off of the top rope, hitting Senku with a Diving Meteora to the face. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji jumped back to his feet and went back into the corner to catch his breath, and while he was in the corner, Senku got back to his feet. Senku then went into the corner, attempting to hit a Running Corner Enziguri, but Shinji ducked the kick and hit him with a Reverse DDT before going for a pin, hooking both of his legs back to prevent his feet from going into the ropes.

Ref: 1…2..

"Shinji wisely keeping Senku's feet away from the ropes, but he was still able to kick out!" Okabe exclaimed as Shinji got back to his feet, and took in the crowd's cheers and chants as Senku staggered back to his feet. Shinji then ran the ropes and hit Senku with two Clotheslines, a Single Leg Running Dropkick to the face, and a Sling Blade. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji ran the ropes, and hit Senku with a Running Shooting Star Press to the chest before jumping back to his feet and springboarding off of the top rope with an Arabian Press Moonsault.

"Shinji dominating Senku once again, hitting a beautiful Arabian Press Moonsault from the top rope!" Nigel exclaimed as Shinji picked Senku up, and hit him with several Knife-Edge Chops to the chest before throwing Senku into the ropes. However, Senku was able to counter this Irish whip, sending Shinji on the apron, with Senku immediately hitting several punches and forearms to the side of the face. Senku then ran the ropes and attempted to run at Shinji, but Shinji was able to counter with a Kick to the side of a running Senku's head, sending him staggering away from the ropes. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji springboarded back into the ring and hit Senku in the side of the head with a Springboard Knee Strike before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2…

"Shinji staying one step ahead of Senku here, and all that adrenaline is making Shinji's chest and rib pain feel like a poke to the chest!" Nigel exclaimed as Shinji ran the ropes, and attempted to hit another Peace of Mind (Curb Stomp). However, Senku was able to throw Shinji up in the air and attempted to hit him with a Pop-Up Powerbomb, but Shinji was able to counter with a pinning Frankensteiner.

Ref: 1…2…

Senku was able to counter te pin, rolling Shinji into a pin of his own.

Ref: 1…2…

Shinji was able to counter this with a Jackknife cover.

Ref: 1…2…

Senku was able to lift Shinji up and attempted to roll him up with a Backslide, the crowd cheering as Shinji tried to fight back and pin Senku with a Backslide of his own. However, Senku hit several Back Elbows to the side of Shinji's head before quickly rolling him up with a Backslide pin.

Ref: 1…2…

"Shinji and Senku exchanging pinfalls with each other, but both men were able to kick out just in time! Shinji still looks slightly dazed due to those back elbows, so this could be a major opportunity for Senku!" Okabe exclaimed as Senku attempted to throw Shinji out of the ring, but the crowd cheered as Shinji was able to skin the cat, get back into the ring, and hit Senku in the back of the head with a Fly to the Moon (Superkick). Senku then staggered into the ropes, and Shinji responded by running the ropes and hitting Senku with a Tiger Feint Kick to the chest, before hitting Senku with a Sunset Flip Piledriver back into the ring.

"What a Piledriver by Shinji! I've never seen anything like that before!" Beth exclaimed in shock as Senku began rolling out onto the apron, but Shinji climbed up to the middle turnbuckle, grabbed Senku, and attempted to hit him with a Superplex back into the ring, but the crowd booed as Senku poked Shinji in the eye, and threw him off of the top turnbuckle and sent him falling onto the padded concrete from the middle rope with a Hip Toss. The crowd continued booing as Senku ran off of the ring apron and hit a Diving Senton to the chest before stomping on Shinji's chest and posing to the booing crowd.

"Senku coming back into the match literally throwing Shinji onto the floor! And with the damage to his back and chest, this could be the end of Senku's historic United States Championship reign!" Nigel exclaimed as Senku picked Shinji back up, and threw him back into the ring before climbing back up to the top rope, hitting Shinji with a Top Rope Elbow Drop to the chest before going for the pin, hooking both of his legs back.

Ref: 1…2…

Senku looked shocked at the kickout and responded by clubbing Shinji in the back before picking him up and throwing him into the corner. Senku then attempted to put Shinji back up on the top turnbuckle again, but Shinji kicked Senku away and hit him with a Tornado DDT. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji climbed up to the middle rope, coughing while trying to regain his breath. After stretching his midsection, Shinji jumped up to the top rope, attempting to hit him with the Genesis Moonsault (BME (Best Moonsault Ever)), but the crowd booed as Senku raised his knees up, sending Shinji's chest crashing onto his knees.

"If the wind wasn't knocked out of Shinji's lungs before, it definitely is now!" Nigel exclaimed as Senku hit a stunned Shinji with a Snap DDT before going for the pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

Ref: 1…2…

Shinji kicked out again, the crowd exploding as Senku smacked the canvas in annoyance before getting up and stomping on the back of Shinji's head. Senku then picked Shinji back up and attempted to hit him with a Snap Vertical Suplex, but the crowd exploded into cheers as Shinji was able to counter the move with multiple punches to the gut, but when Shinji attempted to counter with a Brainbuster, Senku countered the counter by hitting Shinji with an Inverted Headlock Backbreaker before turning Shinji around, and hitting him with a Sky-High Spinebuster. Senku then told the crowd that the match was over before picking Shinji up and attempting to hit him with the Brainbuster.

"Senku trying to finish this match off with one of Shinji's own moves!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji started hitting Senku in the side of the face with knee strikes while Senku was trying to keep him up for the Brainbuster. However, this allowed Shinji to escape Senku's grasp and hit him with a Jumping Enziguri to the side of the face. Shinji ran the ropes, but the crowd booed as Kaworu discreetly tripped Shinji up from the outside, the crowd booing as the referee came running over to argue with Kaworu. While the referee was distracted, Shinji tried to run at Senku again, but Senku slid behind Shinji and hit him with a Low Blow, the crowd booing as Senku turned Shinji around, and hit him with a quick Brainbuster before going for another pinfall.

Ref: 1…2…

"I cannot believe that Shinji is still in this match! I thought that we were going to have a new United States Champion!" Beth exclaimed as Senku pounded the mat in frustration, with Kaworu telling Senku to calm down and finish him off. Senku nodded and attempted to hit a now-standing Senku with the Petrification (Jumping Complete Shot), but Shinji was able to counter by pushing Senku off of him and hitting him with a Fly to the Moon (Superkick) to a kneeling Senku. However, the crowd cheered even louder as Shinji ran through the ropes, knocking Kaworu down with a Suicide Forearm before mounting Kaworu, and hitting him with multiple forearms to the side of the head. The crowd continued cheering as Shinji picked Kaworu up, and hit him with a Falcon Arrow onto the top of the announcers' table before getting back into the ring.

"Shinji taking out the x-factor on the outside, almost sending him through our announcers' table!" Okabe exclaimed as Shinji grabbed Senku, hit him with a Ripcord Knee Strike, jumped onto the middle rope, and hit Senku with the Genesis Moonsault (BME)(Best Moonsault Ever), but due to the damage done to his midsection, Shinji rolled away from Senku, unable to make the pinfall. The crowd cheered and chanted for Shinji as he began using the ropes to pick himself back up on his feet, and as Senku rolled onto all fours while trying to regain his breath, Shinji picked himself back up, the crowd exploding as he hit Senku with the Peace of Mind (Curb Stomp) before going for the pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

*Bell Rings*

"Here is your winner, and still the BTWF United States Champion, 'Undisputed' Shinji Ikari!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd continuing their loud cheers as Shinji fell to his knees, holding his chest with one arm as he raised the other arm in the air in victory. One of the ringside attendants handed the BTWF United States Championship back to Shinji as he put the championship over his shoulder, patting it and kissing it on the center plate. Meanwhile, Senku rolled out of the ring next to a still-dazed Kaworu, holding his head in pain while Senku picked himself back up while wincing due to the pain in his ribs and chest.

"Shinji adding another notch to his belt, adding another banger to his impressive resume!" Nigel exclaimed as Shinji climbed up the turnbuckles, stopped at the top turnbuckle, and raised his BTWF United States Championship over his head. However, while Kaworu and Senku were leaving the ringside area, the crowd began booing, confusing Shinji who looked behind him to find out why the crowd began booing. The TitanTron showed off a video of Laxus Dreyar and Mirajane Strauss underdressed underneath the bed sheets, with Mirajane and Laxus smirking at Shinji while Laxus was running his hands through Mirajane's white hair.

"Shinji, my man. How've you been? I've been doing great, thanks for asking. Not only did I show these morons in the crowd how much of a force of nature I am by beating those two losers you call friends, but I also gave you a replay of what I did to you during my debut at the Battle Riot," Laxus bragged, taking a couple of breaks from his promo to give Mirajane some kisses around her cheek and forehead. The crowd continued booing as Shinji grabbed his ailing ribs thanks to the reminder of the Spear.

"And while me and Mirajane here have been enjoying our little mini-vacation, we decided why not do it one more time. You and me at StarShow for the BTWF United States Championship, and I'll show you that not even a 'future Hall of Famer' like you can stop me. Who knows? Maybe I'll even prove Kaworu right about you being nothing but a crumbling pillar," Laxus explained with a smirk, the crowd booing as Kaworu and Senku were laughing at a frustrated-looking Shinji. Shinji walked over to the side of the ring, asking for a microphone, and when he got it, the crowd began cheering again.

"Look Laxus, if you wanted a shot at the BTWF United States Championship, all you had to do was ask. I've always believed in the philosophy that if you want a shot, come and prove yourself worthy of one. But instead Laxus, you have to perform assaults on people I've been friends with for years and continue on with the cheap insults. In case you were too up your wife's ass to notice, I proved Kaworu, my former friend who started those rumors, wrong. So Laxus, if you want to be proven wrong as well, then that's fine, and I'll head into month #11 with the BTWF United States Championship," Shinji announced, the crowd exploding into cheers as the crowd chanted for Shinji. Laxus nodded with a smirk in response before kissing Mirajane on the head before letting her talk.

"Believe us, Shinji, we saw your performance against Kaworu, and I admit, you did very well. But what you fail to realize is that Laxus is a different beast altogether, and he proved that against your two friends. Nevertheless, Shinji, your challenge is hereby accepted, and Laxus is going to make sure your historic BTWF United States Championship reign ends with a bang," Mirajane responded, the crowd booing as Laxus and Mirajane engaged in a passionate kiss. Laxus and Mirajane then turned the camera off. Shinji nodded and raised the BTWF United States Championship over his head before he brought the microphone in front of his mouth.

"Laxus, you may not be here tonight, but I know you're going to hear this; I've never backed down from a challenge, and if you want to take my United States Championship and tear me down, you better bring your damndest at StarShow because I'm not going to let you roll me over!" Shinji exclaimed, dropping the microphone while putting the United States Championship around his waist. Shinji pointed at the United States Championship and told the camera that Laxus was never going to get his hands on his championship and that he was going to reign for as long as he wanted. The camera then panned backstage in the GM's office, where Tanya Von Degurechaff was looking through some paperwork before Sam Simpson came into the office.

"Hi, Mrs. Von Degurechaff, I wanted to know if you got my doctor's release," Sam asked as Tanya took her eyes away from her paperwork and focused her attention on Sam.

"I did, Samantha, and I decided to put you in a match tonight; you vs. Akira Hayami, and if you win that match, you'll get your opportunity at BTWF StarShow for the BTWF World Women's Championship. I think it's only fair due to the fact you weren't medically cleared for the Elimination Chamber BTWF World Women's Championship match at Last Gasp," Tanya explained, satisfying Sam, whose mouth turned into a slight smile for the first time since her return. However, before Sam could turn around and leave, Clover Lamoreaux and Jerry Lewis came barging into the room, with Clover looking furious while Jerry looked exasperated.

"This is an outrage! You're giving HER a shot at the BTWF World Women's Championship when I've been here busting my ass for this division!?" Clover complained, banging her fist on top of Tanya's desk, sending some of her paperwork flying. Jerry intervened, pulling Clover away from Tanya's desk, and noticing the unimpressed look on Tanya's face, trying to talk the situation down.

"What Clover is trying to say, Mrs. Degurechaff, is that Clover has been one of the featured stars on the Octane program, and would be a very worthy challenger for the BTWF World Women's Championship. Plus, the last time she and Sam wrestled each other, Clover won, so I believe that she is worthy of a championship match," Jerry explained, with Sam responding by rolling her eyes. However, Tanya seemed to think it over, and after a moment, nodded her head and looked over at Clover and Jerry.

"Fair enough, Jerry. Clover, later tonight, you'll go one-on-one with Rei Ayanami, and if you're able to win, you'll be added to the BTWF World Women's Championship match as well," Tanya explained, with Clover nodding in response, smiling at Jerry while Sam looked annoyed at the outcome. "Sam, you're match is up next, so you better get going," Tanya advised, with Sam sighing and nodding before walking over to Clover and Jerry. Clover and Sam exchanged glares with each other, not saying anything and letting the palpable hatred speak for itself before Sam spoke.

"You better stay out of my way, Clover. I still remember everything you put me through like it was yesterday, and trust me, if you get in my way tonight, I'm going to make what happened to me feel like a walk in the park," Sam explained, walking over to the door, bumping Clover with her shoulder before exiting the office. Clover looked back at the door with a furious look on her face, but before she could say anything, Jerry grabbed hold of Clover's wrist and motioned for her to leave without incident so that she could keep her title opportunity for tonight. Clover reluctantly nodded before she and Jerry left Tanya to continue her paperwork, and when they left, Tanya rubbed the sides of her temples together.

"This is going to be a LONG Road to StarShow. I hope Arthur doesn't have this much crap to deal with," Tanya mumbled to herself before the camera panned back to the stage while Tanya grabbed a pen to continue some paperwork. Once the camera focused on the stage, the lights in the arena went down, the crowd booing as a spotlight appeared on the center of the stage, with Akira walking out from the backstage area, standing underneath the spotlight, and basking in the negative reaction she was receiving.

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and if Sam Simpson wins this match, she will be added to the BTWF World Women's Championship match at StarShow! Introducing first, from the Asahi Ward in Yokohama, Japan, she is 'The Spotlight' Akira Hayami!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd continuing to boo as Akira stomped off of the stage and down the entranceway, the spotlight continuing to follow her. Akira glared at the ring, looking at the camera, and telling the audience at home that this match shouldn't be happening.

"Sam is being given a chance at the BTWF World Women's Champion due to her medical inability to compete in the Elimination Chamber match for the BTWF World Women's Championship at Last Gasp. But you have to believe that Akira and Rei cannot be happy about having to battle for their advantage tonight," Nigel explained, the crowd continuing to boo as Akira walked over to the ringside area, the annoyed frown on her face still present. Akira jumped a few times to get some blood pumping before jumping onto the apron, causing some pyro to go off.

"You're right there, Nigel. I can't imagine either woman being happy about this update, especially Akira," Beth noted as Akira walked to the center of the ring, and told the booing crowd that Sam wasn't going to be sharing the spotlight with her at StarShow. Akira then walked into the corner, jumped up to the middle rope, and outstretched her arms while telling the fans that Sam was going to watch StarShow in the stands with them and that she was never going to get near the BTWF World Women's Championship as long as she was still standing. The lights came back on in the arena briefly, but the crowd exploded into cheers as the lights flickered on and off while 'Say Cheese' by Poppy played.

"Well, I know one woman who isn't interested in the feelings that Rei and Akira are feeling; and that woman is Sam Simpson!" Okabe exclaimed as Sam came out of the back, taking off her hood before screaming at the top of the stage. The lights then stopped flickering and came back on as Sam stomped off of the stage and down the entranceway. Sam didn't high-five any fans, but gave them a knowing nod, simply telling them that she was going to make Akira's Road to StarShow a nightmare. The crowd continued cheering as Sam continued on her way to the ring, looking at the ring, and specifically Akira, with a glare.

"And her opponent, from Beverly Hills, California, Sam Simpson!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd continuing to cheer as once Sam got to the ringside area, she slid into the ring. But before Sam could get back on her feet, the crowd began booing as Akira hit Sam with multiple stomps to the back of the head, telling Sam that she should've stayed in her lane and minded her own business. The crowd continued booing as Akira grabbed Sam, and attempted to hit her with a German Suplex into the corner, but the referee was able to pull her off of Sam, the crowd cheering as the referee pushed Akira back into her corner of the ring.

"Akira trying to get a head start in this match, trying to guarantee her 1/3 chance at the World Women's Championship at StarShow!" Nigel exclaimed as the referee checked on Sam, asking her if she wanted to continue when she saw that Sam was holding the back of her previously injured neck. Sam nodded and told the referee that she was ready to continue, and once she said that the referee told the timekeeper to ring the bell, the crowd booing as Akira attempted to hit Sam with a Running Corner Clothesline, but Sam was able to dodge, throw Akira into the top turnbuckle face first, turn her around, and hit her with multiple forearms to the side of the face.

"Sam not backing down here, taking the fight to Akira with some hard forearms!" Beth exclaimed as Sam transitioned from forearms to the face to Knife-Edge Chops to the chest. After several chops, Akira blocked one of those chops and kicked Sam in the gut a couple of times before attempting to hit her with a Running Clothesline. However, Sam was able to duck out of the way and stun Akira with an Enziguri. Sam then attempted to lift Akira up for an Exploder Suplex, but Akira responded with several Back Elbows to the side of the face. However, when Akira attempted her own Exploder Suplex, Sam was able to counter with a Small Package.

"Sam, during her comeback training, visited the dojos of Japan, and you can see some of the strong style influence in her strikes," Okabe explained as Akira attempted to knock Sam down with a Big Boot, but Sam grabbed the boot, and hit Akira with a Dragon Screw, the crowd continuing to cheer as Sam hit a Dropkick right to the back of Akira's knee. Akira tried to stand back up, but Sam hit Akira in the side of the right leg with several hard kicks, sending her staggering back into the ropes. The crowd continued cheering as Sam grabbed Akira's leg and stretched it over the middle rope before draping that leg over the middle rope, running the ropes, and hitting a Basement Dropkick to the side of Akira's right knee.

"Sam's now targeting the right knee of Akira, which takes away some of her signature moves like the Spotlighter (F-5) and the Akira Lock (Brock Lesnar's Brock Lock)," Nigel explained as Akira staggered out of the ropes, and Sam was able to grab Akira, and hit her with a Half-Nelson Suplex. The crowd continued cheering as Sam didn't let up, hitting multiple punches to the side of Akira's face, but Akira grabbed Sam and attempted to hit her with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex, but Sam was able to fight out with multiple headbutts to the face. Sam then pushed Akira into the ropes and attempted to hit her with multiple forearms to both sides of her face before running the ropes, and hitting a Running Crossbody, sending both women flying over the top rope. However, Akira was able to keep herself on the apron, catching Sam in mid-air, the crowd cheering at the impressive feat of strength.

"Akira was able to keep herself and Sam from landing on the floor! Akira also has Sam in her grasp!" Beth exclaimed as Akira threw Sam back into the ring with a Fallaway Slam, sending Sam rolling to the middle of the ring. The crowd went back to booing as Akira climbed up to the top rope, attempting to hit a Shining Star Press (Shooting Star Press), but Sam was able to roll away. Akira, however, was able to land on her feet, grab Sam by the throat, and pull her back to her feet. Akira and Sam then began exchanging punches to the side of the face, and Sam was able to win this brawl, kicking Akira in the gut a couple of times before springboarding off of the middle rope, and hitting Akira with a Springboard Hurricanrana before rolling her into a pinfall.

"Sam showcasing some inhuman resiliency here! Sam was thrown back into the ring with a Fallaway Slam, and is still fighting like nothing happened!" Nigel exclaimed as Sam ran the ropes, and hit a Running Basement Dropkick to Akira's face before picking her back up, and hitting her with an STO. Sam then ran the ropes and hit a Jumping Double Foot Stomp to the chest before running the ropes and hitting a Running Forearm to the seated Akira's face. The crowd cheered loudly as Sam kipped back up to her feet and roared before climbing up to the top rope. Sam waited for Akira to get back to her feet, telling the crowd that it was over, but when Sam attempted to hit Akira with the Blockbuster, Akira was able to catch her in a Suplex position.

"Wow! Akira once again showing off some impressive strength, catching Sam in a Suplex position to counter the Blockbuster!" Okabe exclaimed as Akira threw Sam into the corner with a Falcon Arrow. The crowd booed as Akira went into the corner and trapped Sam in the Tree of Woe, Akira hitting Sam in the chest with multiple knees to the guts before running the ropes and hitting San with a Running Knee to the gut in a Tree of Woe. Akira then picked Sam up, and put her on the middle turnbuckle, hitting her with a Middle Rope German Suplex, folding her like an accordion while sending her landing to the middle of the ring.

"Oh God! Sam getting hit with that German Suplex from the middle rope, causing her to land right on her neck!" Beth exclaimed with a wince as Akira ran the ropes, and hit a Jumping Elbow Drop across the back of Sam's neck. The crowd continued booing as Akira picked Sam up, and hit her with multiple forearms in the side of the head before pushing her back into the corner. Akira ran the ropes and hit Sam with a Running Corner Clothesline before running the ropes again and hitting a Running Shoulder Thrust to Sam's gut. Akira didn't let up, hitting multiple shoulder thrusts into the corner onto Sam, before the referee pulled Akira out of the corner.

"Akira has to be careful, or else she'll add Sam to the title match, and decrease her own chances of winning the championship," Okabe explained as Akira grabbed Sam by the hair, and threw her out of the corner. While Sam was on all fours, Akira ran at Sam, hitting her in the back of the head with a Running Forearm before going for the pinfall.

Akira grabbed Sam by the chin and the neck and clubbed her in the face multiple times. Sam attempted to counter by running to the ropes, but Akira was able to push Sam into the ropes, and immediately hit her with a German Suplex. The crowd continued booing as Akira grabbed Sam and hit her with a Deadlift Gutwrench Suplex, but Akira didn't let go, hitting Sam with another Gutwrench Suplex before rolling her back up, and throwing her across the ring with another Gutwrench Suplex. Akira then flexed at the booing crowd, yelling at Sam that she should've stayed out of the World Women's title picture. Sam crawled over to the ropes, and Akira responded by running at Akira and sending Sam's throat crashing over the top rope with a Running Hotshot.

"A little homage to the Macho Man Randy Savage, Akira using the top rope to cause some damage to Sam's throat!" Nigel exclaimed as Akira immediately ran back into the ring, and when Sam was back on her feet and holding her throat, Akira turned her inside out with a Running Clothesline before going for another pinfall.

Ref: 1…2..

"Sam saying 'I'm not done yet'! And this has to be grinding Akira's gears, especially with the stakes in this match!" Beth exclaimed as Akira picked Sam back up, and hit her with a Scoop Slam into the ropes, sending her back and legs crashing against the hard ring ropes. Akira then ran the ropes to hit her with a Jumping Leg Drop across the throat before picking her back up and pushing her into the ropes. The crowd booed as Akira tied Sam's arms into the ropes, and hit her with multiple punches to the sides of the face. The referee pulled Akira away from Sam as she began kicking her in the face as hard as she could.

"Akira's risking disqualification to get some attacks in on the woman who she believes is trying to interfere with her dreams of becoming BTWF World Women's Champion," Okabe explained as the referee threatened to disqualify Akira if she didn't back off. The referee then untied Sam from the ropes, and Akira took advantage of this by hitting Sam in the face with a Savate Kick. When Sam rebounded off of the ropes after the kick, Akira picked her up and hit her with a Scoop Powerslam before kicking her in the side of the face again. The crowd continued booing as Akira mounted Sam's back and hit her with multiple clubs to the back of the head before locking her in a Camel Clutch.

"Akira now pulling back on the neck with this Camel Clutch! And when someone as strong as Akira's pulling on your neck, you feel like your head is about to snap off of the neck!" Nigel exclaimed as Sam shook her head when the referee asked her if she wanted to give up, the crowd booing as Akira began fish-hooking her mouth. Akira then pulled back further on her neck while one of her hands continued fish-hooking her mouth. However, the crowd cheered as Sam bit down on Akira's hand, causing Akira to instinctively pull back, allowing Sam to escape Akira's grasp. Akira, while holding her bitten hand, attempted to hit Sam with some punches, but the crowd cheered as Sam blocked the punch, hit multiple forearms to the side of Akira's face, and hit her with a Superkick to the face.

"Sam coming back into the match, nearly kicking the jaw right out of Akira's mouth!" Nigel exclaimed as Sam ran the ropes, attempting to hit Akira with a Running Single Leg Dropkick, but the crowd booed as Akira took her back down with a Spinebuster. The crowd continued booing as Akira grabbed Sam's head, and locked her in a Cobra Clutch. Sam immediately tried to run to the ropes to initiate a ropebreak, but the crowd booed louder as Akira threw Sam overhead with a Cobra Clutch Suplex, pushing Sam's face down into the mat while continuing to choke her out with the Cobra Clutch. The crowd chanted Sam's name as she began dragging herself to the corner while Akira tried to pull her back to the center of the ring.

"Sam is fading fast! This may be the end of her Women's title aspirations at StarShow!" Okabe exclaimed as Sam, after almost another minute, was finally able to jump into the ropes, the crowd cheering as Sam grabbed the bottom rope, forcing the referee to break the hold. Akira looked annoyed that she was forced to break her submission, and stomped on the back of Sam's head multiple times before picking her up and attempting to hit her with a German Suplex. However, the crowd cheered as Sam hit Akira in the side of the head with multiple back elbows to the side of the head. The crowd continued cheering as Sam turned around and attempted to hit Akira with a Tornado DDT, but she was able to throw Sam off of her. However, Sam was able to land on her feet, and Akira responded by attempting to hit her with a Running Bicycle Kick, but Sam was able to dodge the kick, turn her around, and hit Akira with a DDT.

"Sam taking Akira down with a speedy DDT, and both women are down!" Beth exclaimed as both women were trying to catch their breath while laying down on the ground. After a moment, Akira and Sam both pulled themselves back up to their knees and began exchanging forearms with each other, the crowd cheering and booing accordingly. The crowd got louder as both women stood back to their feet while continuing to exchange forearms and punches with each other. Sam won this brawl by hitting Akira in the side of the head with a headbutt before running the ropes and hitting Akira with a Float-Over DDT.

"Sam is able to finally get momentum back on her side, taking Akira down with a beautiful Float Over DDT!" Nigel exclaimed as Sam cricked her neck, prompting the fans to cheer louder as Akira pulled herself back to their feet, with Sam responding by running and hitting Akira with two Clotheslines, a Single Leg Running Dropkick, a Running Forearm, and a Running Wheelbarrow Facebuster. The crowd continued cheering as Sam threw Akira into the ropes and hit her with a rebound Frankensteiner before rolling back to her feet, running the ropes, and hitting a Running Basement Dropkick to the back of the head. Sam then stepped over Akira's chest and hit her with a Standing Twisting Moonsault to the chest before going for the pinfall, hooking both of her legs back.

Ref: 1…2…

"Akira is still in this match, but Sam's going to make sure that doesn't last long!" Beth exclaimed as Sam picked Akira up, and hit her with several kicks to the sides of the legs before running the ropes, and hitting her with a Running Dropkick to the knee. Sam then ran the ropes, attempting another Running Dropkick, but Akira got back to her feet and attempted to hit her with a Clothesline, but Sam was able to roll back to her feet and hit Akira with an SOS, the crowd cheering as Sam grabbed Akira's right leg, and locked her in a Legbar, the crowd cheering as Sam started punching Akira's knee.

"Sam with a submission of her own on Akira! This could be the end of the match!" Nigel exclaimed as Akira tried to drag herself to the ropes, but the crowd continued cheering as Sam rolled Akira back to the center of the ring. Akira turned around and started punching Sam in the side of the face, but the crowd cheered louder as Sam spat in Akira's face before continuing to stretch her leg with the Legbar. Akira didn't let up, hitting Sam with multiple forearms, and didn't stop until she pulled her leg out of Sam's grasp. The crowd continued booing as Akira quickly picked Sam up, and attempted to hit her with a Powerbomb, but Sam was able to reverse that into a Facebuster before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2…

"Sam almost got the shock victory after that Facebuster, but what does she have planned now!?" Okabe exclaimed as Sam stomped on Akira several times before climbing back up to the top rope. However, while she was trying to balance herself, Akira pulled herself back up to her feet and hit Sam in the face with a hard punch. The crowd continued booing as Akira climbed back up to the middle rope and hit Akira with more forearms to the side of the face before climbing back up to the top rope. Akira attempted to put Sam in the position for the Super Belly-to-Belly Suplex, but Sam responded by hitting Akira in the side of the face with multiple Open-Palm Strikes to the face. However, Akira responded with a headbutt before throwing her overhead with a Top Rope Belly-to-Belly Suplex, but the crowd exploded into cheers as Sam was able to land on her feet.

"Look at that! Sam landed on her feet, and I don't think Akira knows that yet!" Beth exclaimed as Sam grabbed Akira's leg while she was celebrating, and sent her face falling into the top turnbuckle. While she was stunned, Sam pushed Akira out of the corner, jumped off of the top turnbuckle, and hit Akira with a Diving Blockbuster before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2…

The crowd booed as Akira was able to put her foot on the bottom rope, breaking the pinfall. Sam looked annoyed at the count being broken but responded by grabbing Akira by the hair and hitting her with multiple forearms before attempting to hit her with a Brainbuster. However, Akira was able to land behind her back, the crowd booing as Akira grabbed Sam's waist, hit her with a couple of German Suplexes, dragged her closer to the corner, and hit Sam with a German Suplex that sent the back of her neck crashing into the top turnbuckle, the crowd booing louder as Sam fell in a seated position in front of the bottom turnbuckle. Akira then smirked at the booing crowd before running the ropes and hitting Sam in the side of the face with a Running Face Wash before dragging her out of the corner and going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2…

"Sam barely kicking out there, but seeing Sam's neck bouncing off of the top turnbuckle is sickening," Okabe stated as Akira picked Sam back up, and hit her with a couple of Powerbombs in a row before picking her up for a third. Akira yelled at Sam that she should enjoy watching StarShow from the stands, but the crowd exploded into cheers as Sam started punching Akira in the side of the face. Sam then attempted to hit another Frankensteiner, but Akira was able to keep her grip on Sam and attempted to hit her with another Powerbomb, but Sam was able to counter with a Sunset Flip. Akira was able to push Sam off of her before she could roll into a pinfall, but Sam kicked Akira in the side of the head and ran the ropes before she hit a seated Akira with a Running Double Foot Stomp to the chest.

"Sam caving in Akira's chest with that Running Stomp, but can she capitalize and prevent Akira from overpowering her again!?" Nigel asked as Sam grabbed Akira, and attempted to lock in the Ice Pick (Double Underhook with a Bodyscissors), but Akira was able to counter by picking her up, attempting to hit her with a Jackhammer. However, Sam attempted to counter with an Inverted Hurricanrana, but Akira was able to put her in position for the Spotlighter (F-5). However, the crowd exploded into cheers as mid-Spotlighter (F-5), Sam countered it into an Ice Pick (Double Underhook with a Bodyscissors). Akira attempted to ram Sam into the corner a couple of times, but Sam responded with multiple elbow strikes to the top of the head, the crowd continuing to cheer as Akira fell to her knees.

"Sam's Ice Pick is locked in completely, and Akira is fading! Sam's a hair away from knocking her out!" Nigel exclaimed as Sam pulled Akira's arms back even tighter, sending Akira falling on her back. The referee checked Akira while Sam continued choking her out with the Ice Pick, and the crowd exploded into cheers as the referee told the timekeeper to ring the bell and that Akira was knocked out.

*Bell Rings*

"Here is your winner as a result of a technical submission, Sam Simpson!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd continuing to cheer as Sam let go of Akira, kicked her away, and jumped back up to her feet, shooting her fist up in the air. The crowd chanted Sam's name as she ran around the ring, letting out a victorious battle cry and jumping back up to the top turnbuckle. Sam looked at the crowd with a nod before clapping along with the fans, telling the camera that she was going to get the championship that she should've at Elimination Chamber. Akira, meanwhile, started coming to, shaking her head, shocked at the fact that she had lost, and glared at Sam while she was celebrating.

"Sam has done it! The BTWF World Women's Championship match at StarShow is now a Fatal-4-Way!" Beth exclaimed as Sam jumped down from the corner, running into another corner to continue celebrating with her fans. However, the crowd booed as Akira staggered back up to her feet, grabbed Sam by the back of her top, and slammed her down to the ground. The crowd continued to boo as Akira mounted Sam, and hit her with multiple punches and forearms to the side of the face. Sam fought back with some punches of her own, the two rolling out of the ring while exchanging punches with each other.

"Akira clearly isn't happy about losing this match, and she still wants to make sure Sam doesn't make it to StarShow 100%!" Okabe exclaimed as Xochi Melendez of the Sisterhood of Darkness walked out of the back with her hands in her jacket pockets. Xochi looked on at the brawl, with Akira slamming Sam's face into the steel ring apron several times before throwing her into the fan barricade. Akira continued pummeling Sam, but Sam was able to counter by slamming Akira's face into the fan barricade a couple of times before hitting her with multiple forearms to the side of the face.

"Xochi of the Sisterhood is out here, but she's just looking on at the action!" Nigel exclaimed as Xochi smirked at the brawl in front of her, simply turned around, and walked to the backstage area. Multiple referees came by to try and pull Akira and Sam away from each other, the crowd continuing to cheer and chant 'Let them fight!' as Akira jumped over the referees and continued brawling with Sam. Sam responded by headbutting Akira in the face multiple times before the referees were finally able to pull the two away.

"Xochi just walking away from the scene, letting Akira and Sam brawl with each other!" Beth exclaimed as the cameras panned to the Gorilla position as the referees were finally able to pull Akira and Sam away from each other. Xochi walked to the backstage area, but she was confronted by a fellow member of the Sisterhood, Himiko Toga, with Flare Corona right behind her.

"What the hell was that, Xochi!? Sherry specifically instructed you to attack Sam and Akira!" Himiko asked, with Flare looking worried when she looked at the annoyed expression on Xochi's face.

"Look, they were already kicking the crap out of each other, and I let them do it. You're acting like I stopped them when I just decided to not put myself in the middle of things and let them beat each other up," Xochi countered, lightly pushing Himiko away from her, with Flare immediately running in between the two, trying to make sure that there was no brawl between her stablemates. Himiko looked incensed before Flare pushed her back, keeping her away from Xochi before Himiko calmed down and glared at her.

"You better hope Sherry and Medusa buy that excuse, Xochi. They made it clear that they want to see the destruction and the bloodshed of the women going after Sherry's title, and you didn't deliver," Himiko responded before leaving the scene. Xochi shook her head in annoyance before looking down at Flare, who in turn was looking at Himiko with a worried look on her face.

"Don't think I forgot about how you messed up last night, Flare. If you know what's good for you, you'll stay away from me for a while," Xochi explained. Flare sighed and nodded before walking away from the scene. While Xochi was shaking her head in annoyance at her partner, other members of the Sisterhood Tina Belcher and Frederica 'the Cleaner' Sawyer walked up to her and gave her some distrusting glares at her. Xochi returned the glares before walking away from her stablemates as the camera panned to a commercial break.

*Commercial Break*

*Commercial Over*

The camera panned to the backstage area where Pieck Finger was standing next to Courtney Flores, who was waiting for the interview to start by working on her PDA.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with Courtney Flores, who returned to Octane at Last Gasp. She has requested some time tonight, so Courtney, what's on your mind?" Pieck asked. Courtney looked up from her PDA and nodded before putting the PDA in her purse and moving the microphone closer to her mouth.

"Thank you for asking, Pieck. We all saw what happened before the commercial break with Sam and Akira. They had a very good match in the ring but caused nothing but chaos afterward. Brawls, referees coming out and putting themselves in more danger than they should be in, and almost stopping this telecast. Quite frankly, it's ridiculous, and I think I speak for the BTWF fans when I say that we have had enough of all this chaos," Courtney explained, raising her fist up as Pieck nodded before moving the microphone back underneath her mouth.

"I'm…pretty sure the fans in the arena enjoyed the brawl between Sam and Akira," Pieck countered, causing Courtney to glare at her.

"The fans in the arena do not represent the fans on social media, watching at home on their TV, or watching on YouTube. There are plenty who agree with me that this chaos is completely unacceptable! StarShow being a few weeks away or not, we're all adults and we should be mature when it comes to our fellow wrestlers," Courtney explained as Pieck nodded before deciding to move on with the interview.

"What do you have planned to try and quell the chaos that seems to be more prevalent in the BTWF?" Pieck asked as Courtney's eyes sparkled with excitement at the question as her mood instantly changed positively before she grabbed her briefcase and opened it up, revealing several papers.

"I'm glad you asked, Pieck, as I have several plans for how we can quell the chaos. Firstly, I am available to represent any and all members of the active BTWF Octane roster in their desire to calm the chaos and make their working environment much safer," Courtney explained before going through her papers and pulling one out. However, before she could explain what was on the paper, Courtney stopped when Pieck pulled the microphone away from her and turned to the camera.

"Sorry, Courtney, we're going to have to wait for another time to continue this interview, as we have a women's tag team match coming up!" Pieck exclaimed, with Courtney looking annoyed and offended at the fact that she had been cut off. The audio of the backstage area feed became muted as Courtney began ranting at Pieck before the camera panned to the stage, where the lights in the arena turned blood red, the crowd booing as 'Knives' by Bullet For my Valentine played while fire began shooting out of the stage. The crowd continued booing as Tina and Frederica came out, with Tina brandishing her lantern.

"The following tag team match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, representing the Sisterhood of Darkness, the team of Tina Belcher and Frederica 'the Cleaner' Sawyer!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd continuing to boo as Tina gazed at the flames in her lantern while Frederica merely walked through the flames with a smile on her face. Frederica looked down at the lit lantern as the two continued walking down the entranceway, merely smirking at the booing crowd.

"At StarShow, Ochako Uraraka and Zoey Hanson will battle Sisterhood of Darkness members Ultear Milkovich and Tomoko Kuroki at StarShow for the BTWF Women's Tag Team Championships! Tonight, however, the #1 contenders are going to go to war with two other members of the Sisterhood!" Nigel exclaimed as Tina stared into the camera without saying a word as Frederica ran a hand over the giant scar on her neck. Tina then shot her head back, spinning the lantern around before throwing it into the ring and sliding into the ring after it. The crowd continued booing as Tina rolled after the lantern, running her hand around it while Frederica walked up the steel steps and into the ring.

"With the orders given to them by Medusa to make sure that they don't lose their 'Keys to the Kingdom' by any means necessary, Ochako and Zoey have to bring their A+ game here if they want to make it out unscathed," Okabe explained as Frederica kneeled over the ropes, extended a hand, the crowd shocked as a hand appeared out of the bottom of the ring, the crowd booing as Medusa crawled out of the bottom of the ring, and then crawled into the ring. Tina noticed that Medusa was with them, and crawled over to her with her tongue out, the crowd continuing to boo as Medusa patted Tina on the head before rolling back to her feet.

"And now that Medusa is here, they're going to have to grow eyes in the back of their head!" Beth responded as Medusa led Tina and Frederica to the corner, and whispered some plans into their ears while running her hand through their hair. However, the conversation was interrupted as Io Shirai's 'Genius of the Sky' theme song played, the crowd cheering as Ochako came rolling out of the back, kipping back up to her feet before pointing to the stage, where a much more excited looking Zoey came running out of the back with her pointer finger in the sky.

"And their opponents, representing Zero Gravity, the team of 'the Genius of the Sky' Ochako Uraraka and Zoey Hanson!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd continuing to cheer as Ochako and Zoey high-fived each other before they made their way down the entranceway, occasionally glancing around them to see if there were any other members of the Sisterhood coming at them. Zoey and Ochako were high-fiving fans while Medusa simply stared at the #1 contenders for the BTWF Women's Tag Team Championship.

"Not only is momentum on the line in this match, but after what Sherry did to the leader of Zero Gravity, Zia Simpson, in the Elimination Chamber, bloodying her up with her miniature spiked staff, revenge is also on the mind of the contenders!" Nigel exclaimed as Zoey and Ochako turned their attention to the Sisterhood, with Zoey telling them that they were going to get their lick back for what happened to Zia. Frederica looked as though she was going to stomp to the outside, but Medusa held her back, telling her to wait until the match to destroy Ochako and Zoey.

"Ochako and Zoey are going to want to keep their anger under control if they want to be successful against Tina and Frederica, especially when they have a Hall of Fame mind like Medusa Gorgon by their side," Okabe advised as Ochako and Zoey jumped up to the apron at the same time, and then springboarded into the ring at the same time, with Medusa continuing to keep Tina and Frederica in the corner, going over match plans with them one last time before sliding out of the ring. Medusa gave an ominous wave to the #1 contenders before the referee told the timekeeper to ring the bell after making sure both teams were ready.

"This match has started, and we're going to see whether or not Ochako and Zoey can keep up their winning ways," Beth explained as Tina and Zoey started the match, locking up in the middle of the ring. Tina pushed Zoey into the ropes, the crowd booing as she attempted to hit Zoey with a punch to the face, but Zoey was able to dodge, hitting several punches to Tina's face of her own. Zoey then attempted to throw Tina into the corner, but Tina immediately ran out of the corner, attempting to hit her with a Clothesline, but Zoey countered with several Japanese Arm Drags before taking her down with a Jumping Dropkick to the face. The crowd continued cheering as Zoey grabbed Tina by the hair, and hit her with several European Uppercuts before pushing her into the corner.

"Zoey dominating the early goings of this match with some hard strikes, sending Tina right into her corner," Nigel explained as Zoey ran into the corner, and hit a Running Corner Dropkick to the side of Tina's face before tagging Ochako back into the match. Zoey then went on all fours, allowing Ochako to run the ropes, and use her as a springboard to hit another Running Corner Dropkick to the side of Tina's face before taking her out of the corner with a Tornado Hurricanrana. Ochako then picked Tina up and hit her with several Knife-Edge Chops to the chest, but the crowd booed as Tina raked Ochako's eyes before throwing her into the corner, tagging Frederica into the match. The crowd booed as Tina held Ochako into the corner, allowing Frederica to stomp on Ochako's gut multiple times.

"Tina and Frederica trying to make sure Ochako doesn't get a head start in this match! If Ochako starts flying, then they're going to have a lot of trouble keeping her down!" Beth exclaimed as Tina and Frederica attempted to throw Ochako into the corner, but the crowd exploded as Ochako jumped up to the top turnbuckle, and hit a Diving Double Clothesline onto both Tina and Frederica. The crowd continued cheering as Ochako threw Tina out of the ring, and hit a Running Shooting Star Press to Frederica's chest. Ochako then picked Frederica up and hit her with several Knife-Edge Chops before running the ropes and hitting her with a Tilt-a-Whirl Facebuster before tagging Zoey back into the match.

"Ochako and Zoey giving the Women's Tag Team Champions a preview of the exceptional teamwork that Zero Gravity are displaying!" Okabe exclaimed as the crowd continued cheering as Ochako and Zoey Irish whipped Frederica into the ropes, and hit her with a Double Dropkick to the face when she rebounded. Ochako and Zoey then ran the ropes, hitting a Running Senton-Leg Drop combination before Zoey picked Frederica up, and hit her with several punches to the side of the face, but Frederica was able to block one of those punches and take Zoey down with a quick Belly-to-Belly Suplex. The crowd began booing as Frederica mounted Zoey and peppered the sides of her face with several punches.

"Frederica is able to take Zoey down, but she might want to be careful with how long she spends punching Zoey!" Beth exclaimed as Frederica picked Zoey up by the hair, and pushed her into the corner before hitting her with a Running Corner Clothesline, and tagging Tina back into the match. Tina slid into the ring, and ran into the corner, hitting Zoey with a Running Body Avalanche before dragging her out of the corner, and attempted to hit her with a Uranage, but Zoey was able to counter with a Wheelbarrow Bulldog. The crowd continued cheering as Zoey ran the ropes, and hit a Jumping Double Foot Stomp across Tina's chest before running the ropes again to hit a Running Basement Kick to the side of her face.

"Zoey turning up the speed in this match, hitting a kick so fast, I'm not even sure I saw it!" Nigel exclaimed as Zoey picked Tina up, and attempted to lock her in a Cat Nap (Crossface Chickenwing), but Tina hit her with multiple back elbows to the chest. The crowd continued booing as Tina threw Zoey to the ground, ran the ropes, and attempted to hit her with a Running Senton, but Zoey rolled out of the way, and while on the ground, kicked Tina in the back a couple of times. Zoey then grabbed Tina by the arm and threw her into the corner before tagging Ochako back into the ring. Zoey hit several corner kicks to Tina's chest, allowing Ochako to springboard into the ring with a Back Kick to Tina's face.

"The Sisterhood haven't been able to get out of the starting blocks in this match, which Medusa clearly isn't happy about," Okabe noted as Medusa glared at Ochako as she threw Tina onto the apron. The crowd continued cheering as Ochako ran the ropes, and ran over the top rope to hit a Running Hurricanrana that sent her falling off the apron and onto the floor. Ochako jumped up with both her fists pumped up, but when she turned around, Frederica ran the ropes, and hit a Suicide Forearm, crashing into the side of Ochako's face and sending her crashing onto the floor. Frederica then grabbed Ochako and slammed her face into the side of the fan barricade multiple times, but the crowd went back to cheering as Zoey hit a Baseball Slide Dropkick to the back of Frederica's head, sending her on all fours.

"This match is beginning to break down, and all four women are fighting on the outside!" Nigel exclaimed as Zoey picked Frederica up, and hit her with several European Uppercuts to the chin before attempting to throw her into the steel ring post, but Frederica was able to counter this throw, sending Zoey crashing face-first into the steel ring post. Meanwhile, Ochako picked Tina up, but Tina poked her in the eye, picking her up, and slamming her back first onto the top of the fan barricade with a Uranage. The crowd booed as Tina grabbed Ochako, and fish-hooked her mouth, asking if Medusa liked what she was seeing, and Medusa nodded, licking her lips as she heard Ochako's yelps in pain.

"The Sisterhood are using the outside environment to their advantage, taking control over Zero Gravity!" Okabe exclaimed as Ochako attempted to fight out of Tina's grasp with Back Elbows to the chest, but Tina replied by hitting a jumping stomp to the back of Ochako's head. Meanwhile, Frederica grabbed Zoey and threw her back-first into the steel ring post before rolling back into the ring. The crowd continued booing as Medusa ordered Tina to throw Ochako back into the ring, which Tina did without any hesitation. Once Ochako was back in the ring, Frederica ran at her and hit her with a Running Big Boot to the side of the head. Frederica then hit several Knee Drops to Ochako's back before picking her back up and pushing her into the corner, hitting her with multiple Standing Corner Clotheslines.

"Frederica smothering Ochako with some vicious Corner Clotheslines!" Nigel exclaimed as Frederica hit a Lifting Reverse STO onto Ochako before putting her in a Headscissors. The crowd continued booing as Frederica dragged Ochako to her corner and tagged Tina back into the match, the crowd continuing to boo as Tina rolled into the ring, and hit a Jumping Senton to the chest while Frederica continued to hold her down. Frederica then rolled back out onto the apron, allowing Tina to freely stomp on Ochako's chest. Tina then knelt down and began choking Ochako before the referee pulled her back, to which Tina responded to be threatening the referee.

"Tina needs to be careful here. There are some tensions going on in the Sisterhood of Darkness, but Tina shouldn't let that take over her mind," Okabe advised as Tina picked Ochako up, and hit her with several punches to the side of the face before attempting to hit her with a DDT. However, Ochako managed to push her off, but before the crowd could start cheering again, Tina silenced them with a throat thrust before running the ropes and taking her down with a Running Crossbody. Tina, while still leaning over Ochako, hitting her with several headbutts to the side of the face before nailing her with several forearms to the face.

"Tina slowing the pace of this match down, also hitting Ochako with enough strikes to the head where this could disorient her, preventing her from doing her usual high-flying maneuvers," Nigel explained as Tina dragged Ochako back to her corner, and tagged Frederica back into the match. The crowd continued booing as Tina and Frederica picked Ochako up, and hit her with a Gourdbuster, sending her gut crashing onto the top rope and her dangling over the top rope. Tina and Frederica then ran the ropes and hit Ochako with a Running Big Boot/Running Knee Lift combination. While Ochako was still dangling over the top rope in a stunned state, Frederica sent her crashing off of the top rope with a Whiplash Neckbreaker before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2…

"Ochako almost getting her head twisted off of her head with that devastating Whiplash Neckbreaker!" Beth exclaimed as Frederica ran the ropes, and hit a Running Leg Drop across the throat before mounting Ochako and hitting her with several punches and forearms to the side of the head. The referee pulled Frederica off of Ochako, but before Ochako could even turn around, Frederica picked her up by her legs, and hit her with a Wheelbarrow Suplex, sending the back of her head bouncing off of the canvas. The crowd continued booing as Frederica picked Ochako up and hit her with a Falcon Arrow before putting her in a seated position, ran the ropes, and hit Ochako with a Sliding Forearm to the face.

"The features almost being knocked clean off of Ochako's face!" Beth exclaimed while wincing as Frederica looked over at Zoey, and did the cut-throat taunt at her, the crowd booing as Frederica threw Ochako face first back into her corner, sending her crashing into the turnbuckle. Frederica then hit a Stinger Splash to Ochako's back before tagging Tina back into the match, who grabbed Ochako out of the corner, and folded her up with a Back Suplex out of the corner. Tina grabbed the corner ropes, and bent back, smiling back at a dazed Ochako before spider-walking over to Ochako, cackling in her ear before transitioning from a spider-walk into a splash to the chest before going for the pin.

Ref: 1…2…

"Tina's deceptively athletic, showing it there by hitting a Splash from a spider-walk position!" Nigel exclaimed as Tina looked annoyed that Ochako had kicked out, picked her back up, and hit her with multiple punches to the gut before putting her in a Pumphandle position. Tina then hit Ochako with a Pumphandle Backbreaker before slamming her back down to the ground with a Pumphandle Slam. The crowd continued booing as Tina knelt down, and locked Ochako into a Seated Abdominal Stretch, Tina rolling Ochako closer to her corner and further away from Zoey. Tina started pulling back as much as she could, but Ochako shook her head, refusing to give up, the crowd clapping and chanting for Ochako as she tried to grab the bottom rope. However, the crowd booed louder as Frederica stomped on Ochako's hand multiple times, allowing Tina to roll Ochako away to the center of the ring.

"Frederica preventing the ropebreak there! We could be seeing a submission right here, especially since Ochako is shaking her hands like it's broken!" Beth exclaimed as Tina started elbowing Ochako in the chest multiple times before yelling in her ear to give up. The crowd clapped and chanted for Ochako again as she began standing up while Tina attempted to continue stretching her. The crowd cheered as once Ochako was back on her feet, she started hitting Tina in the gut multiple times before hitting her with several forearms to the side of the head. However, when Ochako attempted to run away from Tina, the crowd booed as she grabbed Ochako's hair, turned her around, and knocked her back down with an STO before going for a pinfall.

Ref: 1…2…

"Tina is able to take Ochako back down, leaving her prone to more punishment from the Sisterhood!" Nigel exclaimed as Tina threw Ochako back into the corner before tagging Frederica back into the match. The crowd booed as Frederica and Tina double Irish whipped Ochako into the ropes, but Ochako was able to handspring off of the ropes and hit both Tina and Frederica with a Double Handspring Back Elbow. The crowd cheered as Tina fell through the ropes from the impact while Frederica slumped into a seated position. Ochako, still dazed, attempted to drag herself to Zoey, but the crowd booed as Frederica grabbed Ochako's ankle. Frederica then stood up and attempted to pull Ochako back in for a Sidewalk Slam, but the crowd exploded into cheers as Ochako was able to counter that Sidewalk Slam attempt into a Satellite DDT.

"Wow! Ochako planting Frederica's head into the canvas with a Satellite DDT! Ochako just needs to drag her body to the corner to tag Zoey back in!" Nigel exclaimed as Ochako took a deep breath, pulled herself back up to her feet, and jumped into her corner, tagging Zoey back into the match. The crowd cheered as Zoey jumped up to the top rope, waiting for Frederica to get back to her feet, and when she staggered back to her feet, Zoey hit Frederica in the face with a Diving Missile Dropkick. The crowd continued cheering as Zoey knocked both Tina and Medusa down with a Double Running Baseball Slide Dropkick. Zoey then grabbed Frederica and attempted to Irish whip her into the corner, but Frederica countered the Irish whip, but Zoey was able to jump up to the top turnbuckle and backflip off of the top turnbuckle when Frederica attempted to run into the corner. Zoey ran the ropes and hit a Jumping Clothesline onto Frederica when she staggered out of the corner.

"Zoey showing some impressive athleticism, taking down one of the Sisterhood's more dangerous members with a hard Clothesline!" Okabe exclaimed as Zoey pulled Frederica to her knees, and hit her with several kicks to the chest. The crowd continued cheering as Zoey attempted to hit Frederica with a head kick, but Frederica was able to dodge, push her away, and get back to her feet. Frederica then attempted to hit Zoey with a Big Boot, but Zoey was able to counter with a Spinning Wheel Kick. Frederica attempted to get back to her feet, but Zoey peppered her back and chest with kicks before knocking her down with a kick to the side of the head and going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2…

"Zoey finally managing to pick up the pace in her return to this match! Frederica is still dazed from those kicks despite having just kicked out!" Nigel exclaimed as Zoey picked Frederica up, and hit her with a Dragon Suplex before locking her in the Cattle Mutilation. The crowd continued cheering as Zoey pushed Frederica's elbows closer together, ramping up the pain in her arms. Frederica attempted to drag herself to the ropes, but Zoey was able to roll Frederica closer to the center of the ring, continuing to pull her arms in the Cattle Mutilation. However, when Frederica looked as though she was going to tap out, Tina jumped onto the top rope, diving on Zoey's back with a Diving Splash.

"Tina breaking up the Cattle Mutilation just in time! If it had stayed on a little longer, Frederica may have given up!" Beth exclaimed as Tina picked Zoey up, and clubbed her in the back while Frederica tried getting back to her feet. Tina attempted to hit Zoey with a Uranage, but she was able to counter with a Snap Frankensteiner, and when Frederica attempted to hit her with a Clothesline to the back of the head, Zoey sent Frederica's throat crashing into the middle rope. While Frederica was draped over the middle rope, Zoey ran the ropes and hit a Running Hesitation Dropkick to the back of Frederica's head. The crowd continued cheering as Zoey climbed up to the top turnbuckle, attempting to put herself in position for a Diving Headbutt. However, Tina once again interfered by grabbing Zoey's leg and attempting to pull her down, but Zoey responded with multiple kicks to the top of the head.

"Tina once again saving Frederica from a potential defeat, and Zoey is making her pay for it!" Beth exclaimed as Zoey was able to push Tina away with her feet, but this allowed Frederica to jump onto the middle rope, and throw Zoey back onto the canvas with a Top Rope Superplex. The crowd continued booing as Frederica pulled herself back up to her feet and hit Zoey with a Gourdbuster before tagging Tina back into the match. Tina grabbed Zoey and hit her with a Uranage Backbreaker before taking her back down with a Uranage before going for the pin, hooking both of his legs.

Ref: 1…2…

"Zoey barely kicking out of that barrage of moves, and I am shocked that she's still in this match," Okabe explained as Tina grabbed Zoey by the hair, and attempted to hit her with Sister Abigail's Kiss (Swinging Reverse STO), but the crowd exploded into cheers as Zoey countered the move, and locked Tina in the Cat Nap (Crossface Chickenwing). However, Frederica rushed into the ring, attempting to hit Zoey with a Big Boot, but Zoey was able to dodge, allowing Ochako to springboard back into the ring, hitting Frederica with a Springboard DDT. Frederica rolled out of the ring, and Ochako immediately responded by running the ropes and vaulting over the top rope with a Twisting Corkscrew Plancha onto Frederica.

"Ochako taking out Frederica with some of her usual insane high-flying offense!" Nigel exclaimed as Tina was able to escape the Cat Nap (Crossface Chickenwing) with a Hip Toss, but when she ran the ropes and attempted a Running Boot, Zoey sprung back to her feet and hit Tina with a Spanish Fly. The crowd continued cheering as Zoey ran into the corner, jumped up to the top rope, and hit Tina with a Diving Headbutt to the chest. Medusa attempted to climb up to the ring apron, but Zoey was able to kick her in the side of the head, sending her falling off of the apron. The crowd's cheers grew as Zoey went into the corner, and waited for Tina to get back up to her feet, and when she did, Zoey hit her with the Cat Attack (Boston Knee Party) before going for the pinfall, hooking both of Tina's legs back.

*Bell Rings*

"Here are your winners, representing Zero Gravity, the team of Ochako Uraraka and Zoey Hanson!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd continuing to cheer as Ochako slid into the ring, and hugged Zoey. Zoey quickly returned the hug, once again thanking Ochako for the opportunity that she and Zia gave her before the two ran to separate corners. The crowd continued cheering and chanting for Zero Gravity as they posed on the top turnbuckles of their respective corners. Zoey looked down at the camera with a smirk on her face, telling the fans at home that they were taking those BTWF Tag Team Championships.

"Ochako and Zoey building some momentum heading into their BTWF Women's Tag Team Championship match at StarShow, and the Sisterhood cannot be too happy about this," Okabe explained. While Ochako and Zoey were celebrating, Xochi Melendez started walking out of the back with a smirk on her face and her arms crossed. Ochako and Zoey focused on Xochi, challenging her to come to the ring, but while they were distracted, Medusa turned Zoey around and spat blood in her face, the crowd booing as Ultear grabbed Ochako by the leg, dragging her out of the ring and throwing her face first into the steel steps.

"You're not wrong there, Okabe, as the Women's Tag Team Champions have burst into the ring!" Beth exclaimed as Tomoko rushed into the ring, and hit a bent-over Zoey with a Running Knee Trembler to the side of the head while she was trying to wipe the blood out of her eyes. Tomoko then grabbed Zoey by the hair and started hitting her with multiple kicks to the face before dropping her BTWF Women's Tag Team Championship belt and hitting her with a DDT that caused her head to bounce off of the championship belt. Xochi continued watching on as Ultear repeatedly smashed Ochako's head into the top of the steel steps.

"Medusa watching on with a devilish grin as the Women's Tag Team Championships are destroying the #1 contenders!" Nigel exclaimed as Xochi continued watching on, making no attempt at moving as while security rushed the ring, the crowd exploded into cheers as Zia Simpson rushed the ring, and started brawling with Tomoko, throwing her away from Zoey. Zia then knocked Tomoko down with a Superkick before Frederica rushed back into the ring and started brawling with Zia. Xochi looked at the camera with a smirk still plastered on her face and shrugged before walking to the back.

"Xochi once again not participating in a Sisterhood attack despite warnings by Himiko backstage," Okabe noted as the camera panned to the backstage area while security tried to separate Zero Gravity and the Sisterhood, with Medusa attempting to attack Zia. The camera focused backstage, where Ed and Edd were backstage, with Ed seated on a bench while Edd was standing next to a whiteboard, with a pointer in his hand.

"Now Ed, we're surrounded by tag teams on Octane that each have their own unique sets of skills," Edd said, pointing at a picture on the whiteboard, with two badly drawn pictures of men with blonde and black hair, behind them was a tiny picture of a man in a cowboy hat.

"Sting and Rogue of the Legacy, for instance, have not only the chemistry of being friends since they were in diapers, but they also have the mind of a Hall of Famer in Dutch Van Der Linde by their side. This means that not only do we have to focus on separating the two for a long period of time, but we also have to make sure Dutch isn't a factor, possibly by getting him banned from ringside," Edd explained, with Ed nodding along. Ed looked as though he was going to say something, but Edd quickly went back to his lesson, pointing at another picture, showing a chubby figure next to a smaller figure.

"We also have our former friend, Eddy, and his new partner, Gene Belcher. Gene has a Hall of Fame father that gives him a pipeline for advice, while Eddy, as our former confidant, knows our secrets inside and outside of the ring," Edd explained, pointing to Eddy a little harder than he had done with everyone else. "Once again, I think the divide and conquer strategy will work well, making sure that Eddy is the one we keep out of the ring, and then-" Edd continued before Ed stood up, and walked up to the white board, erasing what Edd had written down, and wrote something else on the board.

"This is all well and good, Edd, but here's MY idea; just kick their asses!" Ed exclaimed, finishing writing his message on the board, which said simply 'Kick their Asses!' Edd looked over at the message and shrugged while patting Ed on the shoulder.

"Well, we'll always need a Plan B, and this is still going to be the perfect Plan B," Edd responded. Ed nodded as the two walked away from their planning board, the camera panning back to the stage as the crowd began cheering when 'Head Hunters' by Dance Gavin Dance played. Nico came walking out of the back, running his hands through his long, green hair, and staring at the camera with his red eye staring at the camera. Nico was smiling at the camera while staring, asking the fans at home if they were ready to play.

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Approaching the ring, from Nanba Prison, Nico!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd continuing to cheer as Nico walked down the entranceway. Nico looked over at the fans cheering in the front row, smiling at them, even patting one fan on the head before continuing to walk down the entranceway. Nico stuck his tongue out at the cheering fans, shaking his head back and forth before seemingly acting like that never happened. Nico continued walking to the ring, stopping at the ringside steel steps, and rubbing the top of the steel steps with his hands.

"Nico was known as one of the more insane inmates in Nanba Prison, and he's run afoul of the Hollywood Hooligan," Nigel explained. The crowd continued cheering as Nico ran up the steel steps, and rolled into the ring. Nico then sat in the middle of the ring, ran a hand through his hair again, and applauded himself, telling everyone in the arena that he couldn't wait for the Hollywood Hooligan to come out, but warned Mandy to not get involved. Nico then jumped back up to his feet, and ran into the camera, faking a bite before walking into the corner.

"Nico has attacked Mandy to get her to be quiet, and this has made him public enemy #1 in the eyes of the Hooligan," Beth further explained as while Nico was whispering to himself in the corner, MNM's 'Paparazzi' theme song played, the crowd booing as several members of the paparazzi came running out as the red carpet rolled out. The Hollywood Hooligan came out with Mandy in his arms, the crowd continuing to boo as Hooligan and Mandy posed for the paparazzi, with Hooligan telling Mandy that this victory was going to be for her.

"And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Mandy DeRoyale, now residing in Hollywood California, the Hollywood Hooligan!" Mary Hughes announced. The crowd continued to boo as Hooligan told the paparazzi to get out of his way, allowing him and Mandy to walk down the entranceway. Hooligan and Mandy focused on each other rather than the booing crowd, also trying to ignore Nico, who was continuing to stare right at Hooligan and specifically Mandy. Mandy turned around, attempting to further her attempts at ignoring Nico, and took Hooligan's black fur coat off. Mandy then climbed up to the ring apron, and did the splits, creating an opening in the ropes while Hooligan walked up the steel steps.

"I'll never get tired of seeing this entrance, guys!" Beth exclaimed excitedly as Hooligan walked into the ring, the referee stopping Nico from sliding up to Mandy and Hooligan. Hooligan helped Mandy out of the ring, the crowd booing as Hooligan yelled at Nico to back off, which Nico responded to by wagging his tongue at Hooligan. Hooligan glared at Nico as the referee pushed Nico away from the Hooligan and back to the other corner. The referees made sure that both men were ready before ringing the bell, Nico and Hooligan circling each other in the middle of the ring, but the crowd booed as Mandy immediately grabbed Nico's leg from the outside, allowing Hooligan to knock Nico down with a Running Forearm.

"Mandy immediately causing a distraction on the outside, allowing Hooligan to get the advantage at the start of the match!" Okabe exclaimed as Hooligan stomped on Nico's back before throwing him into the ropes, choking Nico with the middle rope, and yelling at him. Hooligan backed off at the referee's discretion, but when Hooligan rushed to Nico to hit him with a Back Suplex, Nico was able to flip onto his feet behind Hooligan, and hit him with a Dropkick to the back, sending Hooligan bouncing off of the ropes. When Hooligan bounced off of the ropes, Nico hit Hooligan with a Back Suplex of his own, kipped back up to his feet, and immediately hit a Twisting Leg Drop across Hooligan's throat.

"And Nico coming back into this match, hitting Hooligan with a hard leg drop right across the throat!" Nigel exclaimed as Nico picked Hooligan back up, and hit him with several Knife-Edge Chops across Hooligan's chest. The crowd booed as Hooligan responded with a couple of Knife-Edge Chops of his own before attempting to throw him into the corner, but Nico was able to jump up to the middle turnbuckle and hit Hooligan with a Springboard Middle Rope Hurricanrana. Nico then ran the ropes again and springboarded off of the top rope to hit Hooligan with a Springboard Arm Drag. Hooligan staggered back to his feet, and Nico responded by knocking him back down with a Dropkick straight to the chin before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…

"Nico bouncing around the ring, nearly sending Hooligan into a completely dizzy state!" Okabe exclaimed as Nico picked Hooligan back to his feet, and hit her with several forearms to the side of the head. However, when Nico attempted to Irish whip Hooligan into the ropes, but Hooligan was able to stop himself from bouncing off of the ropes and attempted to kick Nico in the gut. However, Nico was able to catch the kick, but Hooligan responded with several punches to the side of the head and then attempted to hit him with a Snap Vertical Suplex, but Nico was able to counter and roll him up with a Victory Roll.

Ref: 1…2

"Nico almost caught Hooligan there! Nico's surprisingly been able to counter everything Hooligan has thrown at him!" Nigel exclaimed as Hooligan got back to his feet, and attempted to hit Nico with a Superkick. However, Nico was able to slide out of the way and sent Hooligan crashing into the ropes with a Pele Kick to the face. Nico then attempted to hit a Running Clothesline onto Hooligan while he was leaning into the ropes, but Hooligan was able to throw Nico onto the apron. However, Nico hit a Shoulder Thrust onto Hooligan and attempted to springboard back into the ring with a Spear through the middle rope, but Hooligan was able to counter with a Superkick, sending a dazed Nico dangling over the middle rope.

"What a Superkick by Hooligan, sending Nico on a one-way ticket to La-La-Land!" Beth exclaimed as Hooligan grabbed Nico, and hit him with multiple forearms to the face before hitting him with a Rope Assisted Piledriver and going for the pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

Ref: 1…2

Hooligan mounted Nico and hit him with multiple punches to the side of the head before the referee pulled him off. The crowd continued booing as Hooligan told the crowd that Nico was nothing but a nobody before hitting Nico with a Standing Corkscrew Senton to Nico's chest. Hooligan then picked Nico up and threw her into the corner. The crowd continued booing as Hooligan ran into the corner, and hit Nico with a Running Corner Dropkick to the chest before hitting another Running Corner Dropkick to the side of the face. Nico fell onto his knees, and Hooligan responded by grabbing his right arm, playfully kicking him in the side of the head, and hitting Nico with a Short-Arm Knee Strike.

"Hooligan absolutely dominating Nico here with some knees and kicks all over the face!" Nigel exclaimed as Hooligan ran the ropes and hit Nico with a Jumping Double Foot Stomp to the chest before running the ropes and hitting Nico with a Grounded Clothesline to the chest. Hooligan then put Nico on his knees and hit him with several European Uppercuts before running the ropes and hitting Nico with another Grounded Clothesline to the neck. Hooligan grabbed Nico by the hair, and threw him into the middle rope throat first, the crowd continuing to boo as Hooligan choked Nico with his foot, sending his throat pushing against the middle rope. The referee then pulled Hooligan away from Nico, and while the referee was distracted by the Hooligan, Mandy slapped Nico in the side of the face a couple of times, the crowd's boos growing louder.

"Oh! Mandy getting some revenge for that slap from the go-home episode of Octane before Last Gasp!" Beth exclaimed as Nico looked at Mandy in shock, and attempted to jump out of the ring to get at her, but Hooligan kicked Nico in the side of the head, the crowd continuing to boo as Hooligan turned Nico around, and hit him with a Rope Hung DDT before going for another pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

Ref: 1…2.

Hooligan grabbed Nico by the hair and yelled in his face that nobody attacks Mandy before slapping him in the side of the face. Nico attempted to fight back with a punch, but Hooligan was able to dodge and hit Nico with a Backstabber. Hooligan then pushed Nico into the ropes, and when he rebounded, Hooligan hit him with a Snap German Suplex before running the ropes and hitting Nico with a Curb Stomp. Hooligan then ground the heel of his boot into the back of Nico's head, telling the crowd that Nico was a loser just like everyone else in the arena. Mandy, meanwhile, cackled at the pain Nico was going through, clapping at Hooligan and hitting a couple of stomps to Nico's face.

"Mandy is enjoying the torment that Nico was going through, and you can't blame her after the humiliation that Nico put her through," Okabe explained as Hooligan picked Nico back up, and hit him with multiple clubs to the back before pushing him to his knees, and put him in a Side Chinlock. The crowd clapped and chanted for Nico while Mandy told them to shut up and while Hooligan yelled at Nico to just pass out and give up. Nico tried to get back to his feet, but the crowd booed as Hooligan kicked Nico in the back of the leg, sending him back on his knees. Hooligan then pushed Nico to the ground, pushing his face into the mat while continuing to choke him out with the Chinlock.

"Nico looks to be fading quickly here, and pressing his mouth and nose against the canvas is definitely not going to help the lack of oxygen!" Nigel exclaimed as Nico tried to pull himself to the ropes, the crowd chanting for Nico as Hooligan tried to pull him back. Nico was finally able to jump towards the ropes, biting down on the bottom rope, the crowd cheering as Hooligan was forced to be pulled away from Nico. Nico attempted to pull himself back onto his feet, but Hooligan responded with multiple punches to the side of the face, but Nico countered with punches of his own. The crowd began cheering as Hooligan staggered away before Nico ran the ropes, and attempted a Jumping Clothesline, but Hooligan was able to dodge, sending Nico crashing onto the ground.

"And Hooligan is able to fan the flames of Nico's attempt at a comeback!" Okabe exclaimed as Hooligan picked Nico up, wrenched his arm, and hit Nico with an Arm Wrench Overhead Kick before going for another pinfall.

Ref: 1…2..

Hooligan looked completely annoyed that Nico had kicked out, the crowd booing as Hooligan hit a couple of knee drops to Nico's face. Hooligan then ran into the corner, and jumped up to the top rope, telling the booing crowd that the match was now over. Hooligan dived off of the top rope, attempting a Frog Splash, but Nico was able to roll out of the way, the crowd cheering as Hooligan almost bounced up chest first. Nico crawled to the corner while Hooligan staggered back to his feet, attempting to hit Nico with a Running Corner Forearm, but Nico was able to counter with a Spinning Kick to the side of the head, sending him staggering away.

"Nico almost knocked the features clean off of Hooligan's face with that kick!" Nigel exclaimed as Nico ran the ropes, hit Hooligan with several clotheslines, a Jumping Clothesline, a Reverse Atomic Drop, an Enziguri, and then springboarded off of the middle rope to hit a Springboard Back Elbow to the face. The crowd continued cheering as Nico hit Hooligan with a Standing Moonsault to the chest before running the ropes and hitting a Rolling Thunder Splash onto Hooligan's chest. The crowd continued cheering as Nico rolled back up to his feet, and springboarded off of the middle rope to hit a Springboard Vader Bomb onto Hooligan before going for the pinfall.

"Nico with an impressive aerial combination by Nico, but Hooligan was still able to get his shoulder off of the mat!" Okabe exclaimed as Nico picked Hooligan up, and hit him with a Spinning Kick to the gut before running the ropes, and sending the back of Hooligan's neck crashing into the middle turnbuckle with a Running Sunset Flip Powerbomb. Nico then ran the ropes and hit Hooligan with a Running Face Wash before hitting a Hardy-ac Corner Dropkick to Hooligan's chest. The crowd continued cheering as Nico pulled Hooligan away from the corner and then attempted to hit a Moonsault from the top rope, but Hooligan was able to roll out of the way. However, Nico was able to get back on his feet, and Hooligan immediately responded by rolling him up with a School Boy pin, attempting to use the ropes for leverage.

"Nico kicked out! Thankfully, Hooligan wasn't going to get another victory that easily!" Beth exclaimed as Hooligan looked shocked at the referee and argued with him while still in a seated position. However, while Hooligan was arguing with the referee, Nico kicked Hooligan's arm off of the ropes and rolled him up with a Crucifix Pin.

Hooligan kicked out of the surprise pin and countered by pinning Nico with a Jackknife pinfall.

Nico was able to push Hooligan back up to his feet and attempted to roll him up with a Jackknife pin. However, Hooligan was able to respond with a couple of headbutts to the face, but the crowd cheered as Nico was able to pick Hooligan up, attempting to hit him with a Corner Crucifix Powerbomb, but Hooligan was able to throw Nico into the corner with a counter Frankensteiner.

"What a counter by the Hooligan, sending Nico back first into the turnbuckles!" Nigel exclaimed as Hooligan staggered back to his feet, and stomped on Nico's chest and head multiple times while he was still crumpled up in the corner. Hooligan pulled Nico back up by his hair, hit him with several European Uppercuts, and then pushed him off of the ropes before attempting to hit him with a Star Maker (Bicycle High Knee Strike), but Nico was able to dodge out of the way. Nico kicked Hooligan in the chest a couple of times before picking him up, attempting to hit him with a Brainbuster. However, Hooligan was able to slide out of his hold and attempted to counter with a German Suplex, but Nico was able to counter with a Victory Roll.

"Nico and Hooligan exchanging an impressive series of counters with each other, and Mandy appears to be impatient at the fact that Hooligan hasn't beaten Nico yet!" Okabe exclaimed as Nico kicked Hooligan in the side of the head before picking him up in a Fireman's Carry, attempting to hit him with a Detonation Kick. However, Hooligan was able to counter the kick and hit Nico in the face with a Knee Lift. Hooligan then ran the ropes, and hit Nico with the Star Maker (Bicycle High Knee Strike), sending Nico staggering into the ropes. When Nico rebounded off of the ropes, Hooligan dropped him with a Reverse STO before jumping back up to the top rope, and hitting Nico with a Frog Splash before going for another pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

Ref: 1…2…

"Nico kicked out of the Frog Splash! Hooligan and Mandy are shocked that Nico hasn't been bested yet!" Beth exclaimed as Hooligan picked Nico up, and hit him with several elbow strikes to the face, but the crowd continued cheering as Nico countered with a couple of kicks to the chest before sending Hooligan staggering with a Pele Kick to the face. Nico then hit Hooligan with a Jumping DDT before rolling into the corner, preparing for the Lethal Injection (Noam Dar's Nova Roller). Hooligan staggered back to his feet, and Nico ran out of the corner to try and hit him with the Lethal Injection (Noam Dar's Nova Roller), Hooligan was able to duck out of the way and attempted to hit him with the Hollywood Glitz (Inverted Facelock Spun into a Knee Lift), but Nico was able to block the knee strike and roll Hooligan up for another pin.

"Here is your winner, Nico!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd cheering as Nico jumped back to his feet, looking at the camera and the elated fans in shock as his mouth turned into a victorious smile as the fact he won sunk in. Nico then kipped back up to his feet and roared before jumping up onto the top rope and waving to the cheering crowd. Hooligan looked at a celebrating Nico in shock, his eyes widened and his hands running through his hair while Nico jumped from the top rope to the top turnbuckle to continue his celebration.

"Nico getting a huge victory here on Octane, possibly the biggest victory he's earned since signing with the BTWF!" Nigel exclaimed in shock as Mandy, after recovering from her own shock, pounded on the mat in frustration multiple times while screaming, telling the referee that this was nothing but a fluke and that Nico cheated. Nico looked over at Mandy, and slid out of the ring, the crowd cheering as he started stomping over to Mandy, asking her to say what she had just said to his face. Mandy backed away, rolling back into the ring, and hugging Hooligan in an attempt to get some protection from Nico getting in her face.

"Mandy, thankfully, was able to avoid Nico's wrath, and go back into the waiting arms of the Hollywood Hooligan," Okabe explained as Nico smirked at the couple in the ring, and told them not to mess with him again before walking up the entranceway, high-fiving fans in the front row, continuing to celebrate his victory. Hooligan and Mandy glared at Nico, telling him that this wasn't over and that he should relish this fluke victory because it wasn't going to happen again. Nico simply waved at the couple before running to the stage, jumping up, turning to face the irate duo of Hooligan and Mandy, and sticking his tongue out at him.

"Hooligan and Mandy aren't going to let this slide, so Nico better grow eyes on the back of his head," Beth advised as the camera panned to the backstage area, where Todd Grisham was standing next to Death the Kid and Soul Eater Evans.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with Death the Kid, who hasn't waited to get his second opportunity at the BTWF World Tag Team Championships tonight with another one of his friends, Soul Eater Evans. Kid, how are you feeling going into your title match tonight?" Todd asked as Kid kicked his skateboard back underneath his arm and responded.

"At Last Gasp, I got a hint of what Bonifer and Wolf can do in the ring, and while some of that couldn't have been done without Manabo, there is still a reason why they're the BTWF Tag Team Champions. I've had my issues with these guys since my debut last year, and there's nothing that I'd want more than taking the BTWF World Tag Team Championships away from them. And tonight, that's exactly what's going to happen," Kid explained, Todd responding with a nod before moving the microphone underneath Soul's mouth.

"Soul, what say you?" Todd asked.

"Well, I'll say this; we have a much better chance of winning the BTWF World Tag Team Championships than Kaminari does of winning the BTWF Championship at StarShow. I may not have as much experience with the Chaos Conspiracy, but I do have a lot of experience teaming up with Death the Kid. And tonight, we're going to be heading into StarShow with the BTWF World Tag Team Championships," Soul explained as Todd nodded once again before taking the microphone back.

"Short, sweet, and to the point. I wish you two the best of luck, as your World Tag Team title match is coming up after the commercial break," Todd responded, with Kid and Soul nodding and shaking Todd's hand in thanks. The camera then panned to a commercial break as Kid and Soul left the backstage interview area, heading to their locker room for some last-minute preparation.

*Commercial Over*

The camera panned back to the backstage interview area, where Hana Uzaki was standing next to the Zenin Sisters, Maki and Mai Zenin.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with one of the top rising tag teams in the BTWF Women's Division, the Zenin Sisters. Ladies, you two have made it clear that you're still going after the BTWF Women's Tag Team Championships and next week, you will be involved in a Triple Threat to determine one of the Women's tag teams from both Octane and Intensity that will compete to determine the #1 contender of the Women's Tag Team Championships after StarShow. I want to know how you're feeling about this upcoming opportunity," Hana asked. Maki and Mai looked at each other with smirks on their faces before looking back at a confused and waiting Hana.

"We could tell you how confident we are, and how we not only believe we're going to win the #1 contenders match but also the Women's Tag Team Championships, but…we'd rather let our new manager tell you," Maki explained, her and Mai Z. moving out of the way, creating a path for someone to come through, causing Hana's confusion to grow.

"New manager? I never heard anything about a new manager," Hana mumbled to herself before former BTWF Octane commentator Jim Cornette walked in between Maki and Mai Z., with a smirk on his face and his trusty tennis racket in his right hand.

"Well, you're hearing about it now, Uzaki. And let me tell you this; while I detest the idea of a Triple Threat Tag Team match, I do not doubt that Maki and Mai Z are going to win. Since I saw this tag team in action at the beginning of the year, I knew that these two would be something special. They reminded me of the tag teams of old, even teams I used to manage like the Midnight Express and the Heavenly Bodies," Cornette explained as he patted both Maki and Mai Z. on the shoulder.

"And I knew that once I saw them wrestle all this team needed was the right manager behind them. A manager that has a history of success when it comes to tag teams and tag team championships. A manager who has decades of experience guiding wrestlers to success and navigating this business. A manager like…me," Cornette explained with a smirk on his face. Mai Z. then patted Cornette on the shoulder before moving to the front of the group, grabbing Uzaki's microphone and putting it under her mouth.

"With our wrestling ability and Cornette's wrestling expertise, we're a combination that just can't lose," Mai Z. said before Cornette led both women away from the backstage interview area, the three discussing plans and strategy for the #1 contenders match next week. The camera then panned back to the stage, where 'Devil's Night' by Motionless in White played, the crowd cheering as Death the Kid rode out of the back on his skateboard. Kid looked on at the cheering crowd with a smile on his face before stomping on the back of the skateboard, causing the skateboard to shoot up and Kid would catch it with his arm.

"The following tag team match is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the BTWF World Tag Team Championship! Introducing the challengers, first, from Death City, Nevada, Death the Kid!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd continuing to cheer as Kid walked down the entranceway, high-fiving fans in the front row. Kid then turned towards the stage, and pointed to the stage just as Johnny Gargano's 'Rebel Heart' played, the crowd continuing to cheer as Soul came running out of the back, putting his hand over his forehead to get a better look at his cheering fans.

"And his partner, also from Death City, Nevada, Soul Eater Evans!" Mary Hughes announced as Soul took off his ring jacket, the crowd continuing to cheer as Soul walked down the entranceway, high-fiving fans in the front row before walking up next to Death the Kid. Soul and Kid high-fived at the center of the entranceway before walking down to the ringside area together. Kid then got back on his skateboard, and fist-bumped Soul before riding his board around the ring, high-fiving fans in the front row before Soul jumped up to the ring apron. Soul then climbed up to the top turnbuckle and put his hand over his forehead to once again get a better look at the cheering fans.

"Death the Kid is on opportunity #2 for the BTWF World Tag Team Championships, and has picked Soul Eater Evans as a partner! With the amount of big match experience Soul has, this could be the moment Death the Kid has been waiting for!" Nigel exclaimed as Kid leaned his skateboard against the steel steps before rolling into the ring from underneath the bottom rope, and kipped back up to his feet and high-fived Soul while the two posed in the ring. The crowd continued cheering as Soul and Kid went to the corner, talking strategy and smiling at the cheering fans.

"That may be possible, Nigel, but you have to remember that Manabo is going to be with the BTWF World Tag Team Champions, and that could put them at a disadvantage," Okabe countered as while Kid and Soul continued to go over battle strategy, 'The Sound of Madness' by Shinedown played, the crowd booing as Bonifer and Joe came out of the back with their BTWF World Tag Team Championships. While Bonifer put the BTWF World Tag Team Championship belt in his mouth, Manabo came out with a smirk on his face, the crowd booing louder as Manabo high-fived Bonifer and Joe.

"And their opponents, accompanied to the ring by Manabo and representing the Chaos Conspiracy, they are the BTWF World Tag Team Champions, Charlie Bonifer and Joe Wolf!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd continuing to boo as Manabo walked over to one of the cameras, and yelled at the fans at home that Kid wasn't going to do anything about the Chaos Conspiracy taking over. Manabo also said that Owen would be back soon and that he was gonna go on an absolute rampage when he did. Joe joined Manabo and said that them retaining the BTWF World Tag Team Championships is just the beginning.

"Despite Owen losing his BTWF Championship match at Last Gasp, the Chaos Conspiracy are still bragging that they run things around here," Beth noted as Bonifer kept his glare focused on Death the Kid and Soul while Joe and Manabo continued ranting about their successes and mocking the booing fans. Bonifer spat the BTWF World Tag Team Championship out of his mouth, put the belt over his shoulder, and told Kid that he was never going to get the BTWF World Tag Team Championships.

"I will say this, Beth, Chaos Conspiracy might want to focus on their opponents in the ring and not their bragging, especially since one of these men was a contender for a BTWF Championship match less than a week ago," Nigel explained as Bonifer and Joe made it to the ringside area, patted Manabo on the shoulder, and told him to get in position before Joe slid into the ring from underneath the bottom rope. Bonifer then jumped up onto the apron, and jumped over the top rope, walking into the ring before catching up with Joe. The two then raised their BTWF World Tag Team Championships in the air while Manabo applauded his stable mates.

"They have had a successful couple of months as champions, and given the fact that they are a more connected tag team, it is hard to root against them," Okabe responded as the referee held both BTWF World Tag Team Championships over his head, and gave the titles to the ringside attendant. The referee then told the timekeeper to ring the bell once he had decided that both teams were ready, with Kid and Bonifer being chosen as the legal participants in this match. The crowd cheered as both men immediately began exchanging punches with each other in the center of the ring.

"We're starting this match off with a hockey fight! Kid and Bonifer are exchanging some hard right hands with each other!" Nigel exclaimed as Bonifer grabbed Kid by the throat, and threw him into the corner, but when Bonifer attempted to hit a Running Corner Back Elbow, Kid was able to roll out of the corner, send Bonifer crashing into the corner, and hit him with multiple forearms to the side of the face. Kid then hit a couple of corner kicks to Bonifer's chest before pulling him out of the corner and wringing his arm. The crowd continued cheering as Kid threw Bonifer into the corner, hitting him with a Running Corner Enziguri to the back of the head, and tagged Soul into the match.

"And here comes Soul, and with Bonifer being stunned in the corner, I wonder what he's going to do," Beth wondered out loud as Soul and Kid ran the ropes, and hit Bonifer with a Double Corner Kick before throwing him out of the corner with a Double Snap Vertical Suplex. Kid and Soul then ran the ropes, and hit Bonifer with a Running Shooting Star Press/Leg Drop combination. The crowd continued cheering as Soul picked Bonifer up and hit him with a couple of Knife-Edge Chops to the chest before attempting to throw him into the corner, but Bonifer responded with a couple of knees to the gut. Bonifer then threw Soul into the corner and tagged Joe into the match, but Soul was able to fight out of their attempted double-team move, and Clothesline Bonifer out of the ring.

"Soul making sure that he's not a victim of Joe and Bonifer's tag team offense, even throwing Bonifer out of the ring!" Nigel exclaimed as Soul hit Joe with several punches to the side of the face before hitting him with a Scoop Slam. The crowd continued cheering as Soul hit Joe with a Standing Moonsault before putting him in a seated position and ran the ropes before hitting Joe with a Running Knee Strike to the face. Soul then picked Joe up, and threw him into the corner, hitting Joe with a Running Corner Knee Strike to the face before tagging Kid into the match. Kid jumped into the ring, and threw Joe out of the corner with a Monkey Flip before hitting Soul with a Rolling Leg Drop across his throat.

"Soul and Kid are showing a surprising amount of chemistry for how little they've teamed up," Okabe explained as Kid put Joe in a seated position, and kicked him in the side of the head before going for the pinfall.

Kid picked Joe up, and hit him with a couple of punches to the side of the head, but Joe was able to block one of the punches and took him down with a Fireman's Carry. The crowd continued booing as Joe, while pulling Kid back up by his arm, hit him with a couple of punches to the gut before attempting to throw him into the corner. However, the crowd cheered as Kid was able to jump off of the top turnbuckle, and hit a standing Joe with a Springboard Moonsault before Kid ran the ropes, hit Joe with a Hurricanrana Driver, and went for a pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

"Kid getting another near fall on the BTWF World Tag Team Champions, but still doesn't have the championships yet!" Nigel exclaimed as Kid pushed Joe into the corner, tagged Soul back into the match, and hit a cornered Joe with a Running Corner Dropkick. Soul jumped into the ring, took Joe down with a Snapmare, jumped up to the middle rope, and hit a Middle Rope Missile Dropkick to the back of Joe's head. Bonifer attempted to interfere, but Soul ducked his attempted Clothesline and hit him with several forearms to the side of the head. Soul then ran the ropes and attempted to send Bonifer back out of the ring, but Bonifer countered by throwing Soul up, sending him onto the ring apron. Soul attempted to hit Bonifer with a Suplex to the outside, but Bonifer countered with a hard Open-Palm Strike to the side of the ear. Bonifer then jumped onto the apron, noticed Soul stunned, and hit him with an Asai Moonsault.

"Bonifer may not be the legal man, but he's taking it to Soul with that Asai Moonsault!" Beth exclaimed as Kid got into the ring, ran the ropes, and hit Bonifer with a Suicide Dive DDT. The crowd continued cheering as Kid threw Bonifer into the side of the steel steps before helping Soul back to his feet, making sure that he was OK. Joe ran the ropes and attempted to hit both Soul and Kid with a Suicide Dive, but the crowd cheered as Soul and Kid were able to catch Joe mid-Dive, and hit him on the apron with a Double Gourdbuster.

"Kid and Soul have been dominating the champions in this match, able to think one step ahead of them!" Beth exclaimed as Manabo ran at Soul and Kid, attempting to hit them with a Double Clothesline, but Soul and Kid ducked the move and hit Manabo with a Double Superkick to the face. Soul and Kid then threw Manabo into the steel ring apron face first, sending him staggering back to all fours. Soul then hit Manabo with a Running Knee Strike to the side of Manabo's head before the two tag team partners returned their focus to the champions. Soul grabbed Joe, attempting to hit him with a Suplex, but the crowd booed as Bonifer hit Soul in the back of the head with a Savate Kick.

Ref: …4…5…6

"Bonifer almost taking Soul's head off with that kick to the back of the head!" Nigel exclaimed as Bonifer pulled Soul away from Joe, allowing Joe to pull himself back up on the apron, and while Bonifer was holding Soul back up, Joe springboarded off of the middle rope, and hit a Springboard Crossbody onto Soul, knocking him back down. Bonifer then noticed Kid coming back at them, but when Kid jumped up with an attempted Running Hurricanrana, Bonifer was able to catch him in mid-air. The crowd continued booing as Bonifer hit Kid with a Running Powerbomb that sent the back of his neck and his back into the steel ring post, sending Kid crumpling onto the floor. Meanwhile, Joe threw Soul back into the ring, the crowd booing as Joe stomped on his back.

Ref: …7…8

"Oh God! Kid being sent full force into the steel ring post! Kid could be taken out of the rest of this match!" Beth exclaimed while wincing as Joe picked Soul up, and put him into the corner before stomping on his gut multiple times. Soul attempted to fight back with some punches to the face, but Joe responded with a kick to the side of the head. Joe then ran the ropes, and hit Soul with a Jumping Corner Clothesline, the crowd booing as Joe tagged Bonifer back into the match. Joe then threw Soul out of the corner with a Snapmare, and kicked him in the back, allowing Bonifer to run the ropes, and hit Soul with a Running Senton to the chest.

"The World Tag Team Champions taking control of this match, and with what Bonifer did to Kid, they may have control of this match for its duration," Okabe explained as Bonifer picked Soul up, and hit him with several Knife-Edge Chops to the chest, sending him leaning into the ropes. Bonifer then ran the ropes, and hit Soul with several Running Forearms to the side of Soul's face before hitting him with a Sidewinder Saito Suplex. Bonifer then cricked his jaw and smirked at the booing fans before hitting a downed Soul with a Standing Moonsault and going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2.

Bonifer mounted Soul and hit him with multiple forearms to the side of his face until the referee pulled him off.

"Bonifer needs to make sure he doesn't get too aggressive, as he could risk a disqualification, and giving Kid probable cause for a possible 4th title match," Okabe explained as Bonifer grabbed Soul by the hair, tagged Joe back into the match, and hit Soul with a Gutwrench Powerbomb. Joe then jumped into the ring and hit a Rolling Thunder Frog Splash onto Soul's chest before mounting Soul, and hitting him with multiple punches to the side of the face. Joe then pulled Soul up by the hair and hit him with a couple of Kawada Kicks to the face before throwing Soul into the ropes and hitting him with a Jumping Knee Strike before going for another pinfall.

Ref: 1…2..

"Joe doing the smart thing here, slowing the pace down and making sure Soul stays off of his feet," Nigel explained as Joe ran the ropes to hit a Running Knee Drop on the top of Soul's forehead. Meanwhile, Kid started trying to get back to his feet, but while he was on all fours and the referee was distracted by Joe choking Soul with his knee, Manabo hit Kid in the back with a Running Senton, the crowd booing as Manabo kicked Kid in the side of the head before moving away from the body. The crowd continued booing as Joe picked Soul back up and kneeing him in the gut several times before hitting him with a Butterfly Suplex. Joe stomped on Soul several times before tagging Bonifer back into the match. Bonifer then picked Soul up in a Fireman's Carry, and Joe responded by running the ropes, and hitting Soul in the side of the head with a Running Rocket Kick while Bonifer sent Soul down with a Flapjack.

"A Boot of Doom by the World Tag Team Champions, and with Manabo on the outside keeping Kid down, we could be seeing another victory for the Chaos Conspiracy!" Beth exclaimed as Bonifer picked Soul back up, and hit him with a Rolling Fireman's Carry Slam before jumping up to the middle rope, and hit Soul with a Middle Rope Diving Elbow Drop to the chest. Bonifer then picked Soul back up and hit him with a Headbutt hard enough to send him staggering into the corner, the crowd booing as Bonifer smirked at the booing crowd before biting Soul in the ear.

"Oh God! Bonifer's trying to take Soul's ear off with his teeth!" Beth exclaimed in shock as the crowd began cheering when Soul fought back against Bonifer's biting with several forearms to the side of the face. However, Bonifer blocked one of the forearms and hit Soul in the side of the head with a CCS Enziguri before putting him on the top turnbuckle. Bonifer then grabbed Soul by the hair and hit him with multiple punches to the side of the head before climbing up to the middle rope, attempting to hit him with a Superplex. However, the crowd cheered as Soul started fighting back with multiple forearms to the side of the head, sending Bonifer falling off of the middle turnbuckle. However, the crowd went back to booing as Bonifer hit Soul in the side of the head with another CCS Enziguri before grabbing Soul and hitting him with the Tower of London before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2..

"I've used that move to win plenty of championships, but my patented Tower of London wasn't able to secure Bonifer and Joe a BTWF World Tag Team Championship retention!" Nigel exclaimed as Bonifer grabbed Soul by the hair, and hit him with several European Uppercuts to the chin. Bonifer then ran the ropes, and hit Soul with a Running European Uppercut to the chin, sending him staggering back into the corner. Bonifer then hit Soul with a Corner Running Knee Strike, and tagged Joe back into the match, throwing Soul out of the corner, and allowing Joe to hit a Missile Dropkick to the back of the head.

"They may not have won the match yet, but with Kid still laid out on the floor, it may only be a matter of time!" Beth exclaimed. However, while Joe was choking Soul with the ropes, Kid was starting to get back to his feet, but while the referee was distracted by Joe continuing to choke Soul, Manabo grabbed Kid and attempted to hit him with a Chokeslam onto the apron. However, the crowd cheered as Kid countered this Chokeslam with a low blow, and when Manabo let him go, Kid hit a Running Headscissors onto Manabo, sending his head crashing into the side of the steel ring post, knocking him down as Kid tried to pull himself onto the apron.

"Kid is finally able to come onto the apron! This is the chance that Soul has been waiting for!" Okabe exclaimed as Joe picked Soul up, and attempted to hit him with a Back Suplex, but Soul was able to flip back onto his feet. Soul and Joe began exchanging forearms in the middle of the ring, the crowd cheering and booing accordingly before Soul was able to feign a kick and knock Joe down with a Discus Back Elbow. Soul also fell, the crowd cheering as Soul tried crawling to his corner, where Kid was still struggling to stand back on his feet. Meanwhile, Joe was also crawling to his corner, and was able to tag Bonifer back into the match, the crowd booing as Bonifer ran into the ring, and attempted to lock Soul in a Cobra Clutch, but Soul was able to almost immediately counter it with a Jawbreaker.

"Soul still fighting back, absolutely desperate to make it into his corner and tag Kid in!" Beth exclaimed as Soul grabbed a stunned Bonifer in a Front Facelock, and hit him with a Tornado DDT. The crowd continued cheering as Soul staggered back up to his feet and began making his way to his corner, and with all three members of the Chaos Conspiracy down, the crowd exploded into cheers as Soul tagged Kid back into the match.

"And Kid has finally been tagged back into this match! The question is how will he fare after that Powerbomb into the steel!" Okabe exclaimed as Kid climbed up to the top rope, and waited for Bonifer to get back to his feet. When he did, Kid dived off of the top rope and hit him with a Top Rope Arm Drag, and when Bonifer got back to his feet, Kid hit him with two Dropkicks and a Jumping Facebuster. Bonifer pulled himself up onto his knees, and Kid responded by sending Bonifer into the ropes with a Basement Dropkick to the face, sending him draped over the middle rope. Kid then ran the ropes, and hit Bonifer with a Tiger Feint Kick before springboarding back into the ring, hitting Bonifer with a chest with a Springboard Dropkick.

"Kid is full of vigor and adrenaline! Despite having his head almost busted open thanks to being rammed into the steel, Kid is still wrestling like he's Rey Mysterio in 1996!" Nigel exclaimed as Kid springboarded off of the middle rope with a Twisting Splash before springboarding again and hitting Bonifer with a Springboard Moonsault to the chest before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2…

The crowd booed as Joe broke up the pinfall, hitting Kid with a Diving Headbutt on the back.

"Joe breaking up the pin about as emphatically as you can without a weapon!" Okabe exclaimed as Joe stomped on Kid's back before sliding back onto the apron. Bonifer staggered back to his feet, noticed Kid was down, and hit him with a Belly to Belly Suplex before tagging Joe back into the match. The two then hit Kid with a Magic Killer, the crowd continuing to boo as Joe picked Kid up, kicked him in the knee, and hit him with a Snap DDT. Kid then started climbing back up to the top rope, telling the booing crowd that the match was over, and attempting to hit Kid with another Diving Headbutt. However, when he dived, Kid raised his feet up, sending Joe's chin crashing into his feet, and sending him staggering into the ropes, allowing Soul to hit Joe with a hard Forearm to the side of the face.

"Soul paying Joe back for some of the interference with that hard strike to the face!" Beth exclaimed as Kid was able to get back to his feet, and hit Joe with a Backstabber before rolling him up with a Mousetrap Cradle Pin.

Ref: 1…2…

Bonifer ran into the ring, kicking Kid in the back with enough force to send him off of Joe. However, Soul was able to come back into the ring, hitting Bonifer with a Running DDT, sending Bonifer rolling onto the ring apron. Soul didn't let up, springboarding off of the middle rope to hit Bonifer with a Springboard Triangle Dropkick, knocking him onto the floor. Soul then ran the ropes and hit a staggered Bonifer with a Vaulting Senton over the top rope. Meanwhile, Joe picked Kid up, and attempted to kick him in the knee again, but Kid was able to dodge, kick Joe in the side of the head, and springboard off of the middle rope to hit Joe with a Springboard Flatliner before going for another pinfall.

Ref: 1…2…

"I've never seen someone hit a Flatliner like that before, but Joe is still able to kick out!" Beth exclaimed as Kid dragged Joe to the corner and stomped on his chest before tagging Soul back into the match, the crowd cheering as the two attempted to hit Joe with a Double Suplex, but Joe was able to land on his feet, push Kid into Soul, and attempted to roll Soul up with a School Boy pin, but Soul was able to roll out of the pin and hit Joe with a Knee Lift hard enough to send him staggering into the ropes. The crowd continued to boo as Manabo got back onto the apron to check on Joe, and Soul attempted to grab Joe by his pants while the referee argued with Manabo. However, when Soul was able to pull Joe away from the ropes, Joe threw Soul into the referee hard enough to send him crashing into Manabo's head, sending him falling back down.

"Oh! And the referee's down! What does this mean for this title match!?" Nigel exclaimed as Soul and Joe exchanged punches once again before Soul attempted to hit him with the Soul Eater (Gourdbuster GTS), but Joe kneed Soul in the chest a couple of times before throwing him into the ropes. However, Soul was able to counter with a Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors and knock Joe down with a DDT, but before he could do anything else, the crowd booed louder as Kaminari slid into the ring, and hit Soul with the Surge (Claymore Kick) in the face.

"Where the hell did Kaminari come from!? And better question, why the hell is he here!?" Beth asked in anger as Kaminari mounted Soul, and started punching him in the side of the face. Kid attempted to come into the ring to stop him, but Bonifer came in and turned Kid inside out with a Lariat. Bonifer then grabbed Kid, and threw him out of the ring, allowing Manabo to Chokeslam Kid onto the steel ring apron, the crowd booing as Kaminari picked Soul back up, and hit him with the AfterShock DDT (Future Shock DDT). Kaminari grabbed an unconscious Soul by the hair and yelled at him that he wasn't a loser and that he was going into StarShow to win the BTWF Championship whether he thought so or not.

"Kaminari really showing just how fragile his ego is, attacking Soul just because he said he didn't believe Kaminari could get the job done at StarShow!" Beth exclaimed as Joe and Bonifer looked at each other with a smirk on their faces as Kaminari left the ring. Joe then quickly picked an unconscious Soul up, allowing Bonifer to run the ropes, and hit Soul with a Big Boot to the face at the same time Joe hit the Russian Legsweep before Joe went for the pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

"Here are your winners, and still the BTWF World Tag Team Champions, representing the Chaos Conspiracy, Joe Wolf and Charlie Bonifer!" Mary Hughes announced as Bonifer yelled at the ringside attendant to give their BTWF World Tag Team Championships back while Manabo was celebrating on the outside. Joe held the back of his head in pain while smiling as Bonifer swiped the BTWF World Tag Team Championships from the ringside attendant, handed one of them to Joe, and put the belt back in his mouth. Manabo patted Bonifer on the shoulders,

"Thanks to a surprising run-in from Kaminari, Joe and Bonifer were once again able to retain their World Tag Team Championships!" Nigel exclaimed as Kid sat up, leaning against the ring apron while running his hands through his head, frustrated at once again coming up short. Meanwhile, Soul rolled out of the ring, holding the side of his head in pain while Joe leaned against the ropes, mocking Joe for once again coming up short. As Joe continued to show off his BTWF World Tag Team Championship belt to the forlorn Kid, Manabo told the camera that the Chaos Conspiracy wasn't going anywhere.

"Kid still has one last chance for the BTWF World Tag Team Championships, but the question is who will he team up with?" Okabe asked as Kid staggered over to Soul, helping him back up to his feet, looking at the camera, and saying that he would find someone and that Joe and Bonifer weren't going to have the BTWF World Tag Team Championships after StarShow. Joe laughed at Kid when he heard that, yelling at him that it was never going to happen and that he and Bonifer were going to hold onto the championships for as long as they felt like.

"I don't think Bonifer and Joe care who it is, especially since they're up 2-0 against Kid," Beth noted as the camera panned to the backstage area while the Chaos Conspiracy continued celebrating their title retention in the ring. The camera focused on the backstage interview area, where Jack Korpela was standing next to Gene Belcher, who looked more serious than he usually did.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with Gene Belcher, who has asked for some interview time to make some sort of challenge," Korpela introduced before Gene nodded, moving the microphone closer to his mouth.

"That's right. Listen, some people may see me as this jolly dancing guy, but when it comes to the people I care about, I can get as serious as serious gets," Gene explained as Korpela looked surprised at Gene's straightforward response.

"But enough about that, I'm here to make a challenge. Owen, I know you're off taking a break this week, but next week, I want you in the ring next week. You tried to take Eddy out of wrestling for good, but you forgot about me, and I'm going to make sure that next time, you don't forget," Gene challenged, with BTWF World Tag Team Champions Joe Wolf & Charlie Bonifer, and Manabo came walking up to Gene, looking amused at the challenge.

"Wow…you have some sort of death wish or something?" Joe asked while chuckling, putting his BTWF World Tag Team Championship belt onto his shoulder. Gene glared down at Joe, but Manabo got in between the two, glowering down at one-half of 2-Cool.

"Trust me, Gene, if Owen gets his hands on you, he's going to send you to the same hospital room that Eddy's been at for the past couple of weeks," Joe explained, poking Gene's chest with his pointer finger. Gene grabbed Joe by the throat, attempting to pull him closer, but Bonifer was able to knock Gene away from Joe with a Savate Kick to the side of the face. Manabo then grabbed Gene and threw him into the production crates while Joe was smirking and polishing his BTWF World Tag Team Championship belt.

"We'll see you next week to finish the job, Gene," Joe threatened before he and the rest of the Chaos Conspiracy walked away, leaving Gene in a crumpled heap. The camera then panned back to the stage, where the lights in the arena turned sky blue, the crowd exploding into cheers as synthetic snow fell from the ceiling, and 'Shatter Me' by Lindsey Sterling (feat. Lzzy Hale) played. Rei Ayanami eventually walked out of the back in her traditional light blue rope, the crowd continuing to cheer and chant Rei's name as she turned while stretching her arms out.

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall! If Clover Lamoreaux wins this match, she will be added to the Fatal-4-Way BTWF World Women's Championship match at StarShow! Introducing first, from Tokyo Japan, she is 'the Shining Ace' Rei Ayanami!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd continuing to cheer as Rei looked on at the cheering crowd with her usual blank stare before walking down the entranceway. Rei cricked her neck on her way to the ring, merely looking at the camera before returning her attention back to the ring.

"Rei has made it clear that her mission at StarShow is to get the BTWF World Women's Championship back around her waist!" Nigel exclaimed as Rei made it to the ringside area. The crowd continued cheering as Rei walked up the steel steps, jumped up to the top turnbuckle, and took off her robe while basking in the crowd's cheers. Rei then threw the robe down to the ground jumped off of the top turnbuckle, and rolled to the center of the ring before pulling herself back on her knees. Rei then outstretched her arms and lifted her head up while closing her eyes, the crowd chanting her name as the lights grew darker and the snowfall began to slow.

"If she wants to make that mission easier, Rei should make sure that Clover doesn't get added to the match, especially since we've seen Sam add herself to the World Women's Championship match at StarShow after defeating Akira Hayami," Okabe explained as Rei pulled herself back up to her feet, and walked over to the corner, stretching her legs and arms in the corner while waiting for Clover to come out. The crowd began booing as 'Entertain You' by Within Temptation played, the screen on the min-Tron turning into a mirror as Clover came out of the back with Jerry in tow.

"And her opponent, accompanied to the ring by Jerry Lewis, from Beverly Hills California by way of Sainte-Mere-Eglise France, she is 'the French Phenom' Clover Lamoreaux!" Mary Hughes announced as Clover took off the hood of her ring jacket and turned to face the mini-Tron mirror. The look on Clover's face was serious, though she fixed her hair and checked her face for any blemish she could see, the crowd booing as Clover focused her eyes on Rei, telling her that this match wasn't going to go the same way their Trouble in Tokyo match did. Clover then turned around, causing the mirror in the mini-Tron to disappear.

"Clover is also determined heading into this match, wanting to make sure she becomes BTWF World Women's Champion before Sam Simpson," Okabe explained as Jerry followed Clover, telling her to focus on Rei and to keep Sam out of her mind, which Clover only responded to by turning her head slightly at Jerry and nodding. Jerry and Clover continued discussing battle strategy for the match while Rei continued stretching, the crowd continuing to boo as Clover told Jerry that she was going to win this match faster than Sam won hers, which Jerry agreed with before continuing his discussion of strategy.

"Clover really needs to keep her jealousy in check, especially if she wants to win a match against a technical wizard like Rei Ayanami," Beth advised as when Clover and Jerry made it to the ringside area, Jerry took Clover's ring jacket off, and turned it around, revealing a mirror. Clover turned around, and once again looked over herself in the mirror before turning around, and climbing up onto the ring apron. Clover then jumped onto the top turnbuckle and looked at the jeering crowd before jumping back down, running her hands through her blonde hair before telling the referee that she was ready.

"I don't think you have to worry about that, Beth, as Clover looks a lot more focused than I've seen her in the preceding months," Okabe responded as the referee made sure Rei was ready before telling the timekeeper to ring the bell to start the match. Rei and Clover locked up in the middle of the ring, the two attempting to push the other into the ropes, but Rei was able to take Clover down with an Arm Drag, the crowd cheering as Rei attempted to put Clover in an Armbar, but Clover was able to slip her way out of the Armbar attempt, stand up, and put Rei in a Hammerlock. The crowd booed as Clover attempted to push Rei down while keeping her in the Hammerlock, but Rei was able to keep herself standing, escape the Hammerlock, and put Clover in a Waistlock.

"Clover and Rei participating in a game of one-upmanship, trying to take the other down," Nigel explained as Clover countered by putting Rei in a Waistlock, throwing her down before attempting to once again grab her arm, but Rei countered by putting Clover in a Keylock while they were both still on the ground. The crowd booed as Clover quickly dragged herself to the ropes, forcing Rei to break up the Keylock and let go of Clover. Rei then attempted to pick Clover up and drag her away from the ropes, but Clover responded by poking her in the eye and putting her in a Side Headlock.

"Clover with the Greco-Roman thumb to the eye to try and maintain control!" Nigel exclaimed as Clover attempted to take Rei down with a Headlock Takedown, but Rei was able to counter this by twisting her way out of the Headlock and throwing Clover down with a Monkey Flip. Rei then attempted to lock Clover in an Armbar, but Clover was able to push Rei off, and when she got back up, she hit Rei with a straight punch to the side of the face. The crowd booed as Clover grabbed Rei by the hair, and hit her with multiple European Uppercuts before throwing her into the corner.

"Clover able to take advantage in this match with several hard strikes to the face and head!" Okabe exclaimed as Clover ran the ropes, attempting to hit her with a Running Discus Corner Forearm, but the crowd cheered as Rei was able to roll out of the corner, take Clover out of the corner with a Japanese Arm Drag, and knock her down with a Dropkick to the face. The crowd continued cheering as Rei picked Clover up, hit her with several European Uppercuts of her own, and Irish whipped her into the ropes, but when Rei attempted another Arm Drag, Clover was able to land on her feet, punch Rei in the gut a couple of times, and take Rei down with a Hip Toss. Clover then cartwheeled in front of Rei and attempted to hit her with a Basement Dropkick to the face, but Rei was able to dodge and roll Clover up with a Grounded Crucifix.

"Clover and Rei, despite the strike exchanges, are pretty even in the early-goings of this match," Nigel explained as Clover attempted to hit Rei with a Clothesline, but Rei was able to roll out of the way, run the ropes, and hit Clover with a Tilt-a-Whirl Hurricanrana. Clover staggered into the corner, and Rei responded by hitting Clover with a Handspring Corner Back Elbow. The crowd continued cheering as Rei threw Clover out of the corner, jumped up to the middle rope, and hit a staggering Clover with a Middle Rope Bulldog. The crowd continued cheering as Rei climbed up to the top rope, attempting to hit Clover with a Light From Above (Frog Splash) early, but Clover was able to roll out of the way. Rei was able to roll back onto her feet, and when she attempted to run at Clover, she was able to hit Rei with a Kitchen Sink Knee, knocking her back down to a seated position.

"Clover able to stop Rei dead in her tracks with that hard knee to the chest!" Beth exclaimed as Clover quickly ran the ropes, and hit Rei in the face with a Basement Dropkick. The crowd booed as Clover fixed her blonde hair to the best of her abilities before picking Rei up, and attempting to hit her with the White Cyanide (Running Brainbuster). However, Rei was able to jump behind Clover and attempted to hit her with the Redemption (Cross Rhodes), but Clover was able to turn out of it and attempted to pick her up for a Snap Vertical Suplex, but Rei countered with a Swinging Neckbreaker. The crowd continued cheering as Rei ran the ropes, and hit a Cartwheel Moonsault to the chest before going for another pinfall, hooking both of her legs back.

"Rei and Clover countering each other's signature maneuvers, showing just how much this BTWF World Women's Championship opportunity means to them!" Nigel exclaimed as Rei picked Clover up, and hit her with several punches to the face before attempting to hit her with a Snap Vertical Suplex. However, Clover was able to keep her feet on the ground, pushed Rei into the corner, and started hitting her with multiple shoulder thrusts to the gut. Clover then backflipped out of the corner and attempted to hit a Running Corner Clothesline. However, Rei was able to counter by hitting Clover in the face with both of her feet, sending her falling on her back. The crowd cheered as Rei grabbed both of Clover's legs, and attempted to lock her in the Lasso from El Paso, but Clover was able to roll Rei up with a Small Package.

"Clover almost sneaked away with the pinfall, but Rei was still able to kick out! It's incredible how both women are still pretty even in this contest!" Okabe exclaimed as Clover and Rei exchanged forearms with each other, the crowd cheering and booing accordingly. However, Rei was able to hit Clover with a Discus Back Elbow to the side of the head, and then ran the ropes, attempting to hit Clover with a Running Crossbody, but Clover was able to catch Rei. The crowd booed as Rei attempted to fight out of Clover's grasp, but Clover was able to hit a Snake Eyes onto Rei, sending her face crashing into the top turnbuckle.

"That may not be an issue anymore, Okabe, as Clover just forced Rei's head into the top turnbuckle!" Nigel responded before Clover, continuing to hold onto Rei, hit Rei with a Stun Gun, sending her throat bouncing off of the top rope. Clover then took Rei down with a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker before going for another pinfall.

Clover picked Rei up and hit her with several Knife-Edge Chops before wringing her arm and kneeing her in the gut several times. The crowd continued booing as Clover hit Rei with a Butterfly Suplex, but rather than let go, Clover kept Rei in a Butterfly position, rolled back onto her feet, and hit Rei with two more Butterfly Suplexes. Clover playfully kicked Rei in the face a couple of times before Clover looked over at the camera, telling the fans that they were looking at their next BTWF World Women's Champion and that Sam Simpson was going to have the worst StarShow of her life.

"Clover, despite finally gaining control in this match, still has Sam Simpson on her mind," Beth noted as Clover hit a couple of Sliding Elbow Drops to the chest before putting her in a seated position, and kicking her in the back several times. Clover ruffled Rei's hair before pushing her into the corner, the crowd continuing to boo as Clover ran the ropes, hitting Rei in the back of the head with a Running Corner Clothesline. Clover then turned Rei around in the corner and hit her with several Back Elbows to the side of the head before rolling out of the corner and hitting a Running Discus Corner Forearm to the face.

"Maybe, but it seems to be motivating her in this match with not only BTWF World Women's Championship match implications, but a StarShow match implication as well," Okabe countered as Clover threw Rei out of the corner with a Snapmare, jumping onto the middle rope, and hitting Rei in the back of the head with a Diving Middle Rope Uppercut before going for another pinfall.

Ref: 1…2..

Clover stomped on Rei several times in the chest before picking Rei back up by the hair, hitting her in the back multiple times with forearms. Rei fell to her knees, and Clover responded by grabbing Rei's hair and hitting several punches to the side of the head before running the ropes, hitting Rei with a Running Clothesline to the back of the head. Clover then ran the ropes and hit Rei with a Running Leg Drop across the back of her neck before grabbing Clover by the hair, telling the fans that this was what was going to happen at StarShow, and telling Sam to watch what she was doing to Rei.

"You're right about that, Okabe, as a lot of her controlled anger in this match comes from her former friend, Sam Simpson, getting an opportunity that she believes she deserves," Nigel explained as Clover grabbed both of Rei's legs, turned her around, and locked her in a Boston Crab. The crowd began cheering and chanting for Rei as she bit on her lip to prevent herself from yelling out in pain while pulling herself towards the ropes. Clover attempted to pull Rei back towards the center of the ring, but Rei was able to keep pulling herself closer to the ropes. However, the crowd booed as Clover transitioned from a Boston Crab to a Muta Lock, pulling back on Rei's neck as hard as she could.

"Clover showing off some technical prowess here, transitioning flawlessly from a Boston Crab to a Muta Lock!" Okabe exclaimed as Rei attempted to reach towards the ropes, but Clover rolled Rei away from the ropes and continued pulling back on her neck with the Muta Lock. The crowd continued chanting and cheering for Rei as she grabbed Clover's hands, attempting to pull her hands away. Another moment later, Rei was finally able to pull Clover's hands off of around her neck, the crowd beginning to cheer louder as Rei hit Clover in the face with several headbutts to the nose. Clover was stunned, and Rei responded by turning around, and pushing Clover into the corner with her feet, the crowd continued cheering as Rei pulled herself back up to her feet.

"Rei is finally able to break out of Clover's grasp thanks to some hard headbutts!" Nigel exclaimed as Rei went into the corner to grab Clover, but Clover kicked Rei in the right knee and sent her face crashing into the middle turnbuckle with a Reverse STO. The crowd continued booing as Clover grabbed a dazed Rei in a waistlock, and hit Rei with a German Suplex before bridging into a pinfall.

Ref: 1…2..

Clover looked shocked at the fact Rei kicked out, arguing with the referee that she had Rei down for the three count. After a moment of arguing with the referee, Clover stomped on Rei's head and chest multiple times before climbing up to the top rope. Clover told the booing crowd and Sam that she was going to finish the match, attempting to hit Rei with a Diving Elbow Drop. However, the crowd cheered as Rei raised both her knees up, sending Clover's arm crashing right into Rei's knees.

"Rei is able to counter Clover's Diving Elbow Drop, finally giving her some space so that she can get back in this match!" Beth exclaimed as Rei staggered back to her feet, holding her back in pain while Clover, after shaking some feeling back into her arm, attempted to hit Clover with a Running Clothesline, but Rei was able to counter by taking her down with a Spinning Wheel Kick. The crowd continued cheering as Rei waited for Clover to get back to her feet, and when she did, Rei hit Clover with two Clotheslines, a Running Dropkick, a Frankensteiner, and a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker. The crowd continued cheering as Clover staggered into the corner, and Rei immediately followed her into the corner to hit her with a Corner Spinning Wheel Kick before taking her out of the corner with a Running Bulldog.

"Rei finally coming back into this match, ramming Clover's face into the mat with a hard Bulldog!" Nigel exclaimed as Rei ran the ropes, and hit Clover with a Running Shooting Star Press before picking her back up. The crowd continued cheering as Rei hit Clover with Triple Rolling Vertical Suplexes, but when she attempted to pick Clover up for the Brainbuster, Clover kneed Rei several times in the face before escaping Rei's grasp. Clover then attempted to pick Rei up for a Brainbuster of her own, but when Clover ran to attempt her White Cyanide (Running Brainbuster), Rei was able to slide out of Clover's grasp, push Clover into the corner chest first, and hit her with a German Suplex. Rei then ran the ropes and hit Clover with a Running Basement Dropkick to the side of the face while she was on her knees.

"Rei almost sent Clover out of the ring with the Running Dropkick to the face! And Jerry is looking like he's having a heart attack on the outside!" Nigel exclaimed as Rei quickly picked Clover up, and hit her with the Brainbuster before going for the pinfall, hooking both of her legs back.

Ref: 1…2…

Clover kicked out, which Rei responded to by running the ropes and hitting Clover with a Running Grounded Clothesline. Rei then began climbing up to the top rope, attempting to hit her with the Light From Above (Frog Splash) once again, but Clover was able to get back to her feet, grabbing Rei by the hair. The crowd booed as Clover punched Rei in the face several times before attempting to hit her with a DDT from the top turnbuckle, but the crowd went back to cheering as Rei pushed Clover's hands off of her, and slammed her face into the top turnbuckle multiple times. The crowd continued cheering as Rei pushed Clover away, balanced herself on the top turnbuckle, and hit Clover with a Diving Crossbody before going for another pinfall.

Ref: 1…2…

"Clover once again showing some resilience, kicking out of that Crossbody at the last minute!" Okabe exclaimed as Rei picked Clover up, and attempted to put her in a Reverse Full Nelson, but Clover was able to headbutt Rei in the gut several times. The crowd continued booing as Clover picked Rei up, putting her in a Fireman's Carry, and attempted to hit her with an Ushigaroshi, but Rei was able to land on her feet. Rei attempted to hit Clover with a Reverse DDT, but Clover turned around and pushed Rei over the top rope and onto the apron. Clover then ran the ropes and attempted to knock Rei down with a Running Forearm, but Rei countered with a Pendulum Kick, sending Clover staggering away. However, before Rei could springboard back into the ring, the crowd booed as Jerry grabbed Rei's foot while Clover distracted the referee.

"Jerry seizing the opportunity by trying to keep Rei from landing whatever move she had planned for Clover!" Nigel exclaimed as Rei was able to turn around and kick Jerry away from her, but when she turned around and attempted to hit Clover with a Springboard Hurricanrana, Clover was able to catch her in mid-air. The crowd booed as Clover hit a Rope Rebound Sit-Out Powerbomb before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2…

Clover looked shocked as Rei kicked out, and immediately crawled over to Jerry, seemingly asking him for some advice. While the two were talking, Rei staggered back to her feet and attempted to grab Clover by the legs, pulling her back to the center of the ring. Rei once again attempting to lock her in the Lasso from El Paso. However, Clover countered by kicking Rei in the side of the head, getting back to her feet, and attempting to hit her with a DDT, but Rei pushed Clover into the ropes, and Irish whipped her into the ropes. When Clover rebounded, Rei hit her with a Flapjack before picking her up and hitting her with the Redemption (Cross Rhodes) before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2…

"Whatever Jerry told Clover from the outside didn't work, as she almost lost her chance at the BTWF World Women's Championship at StarShow!" Beth exclaimed as Rei picked Clover up, and hit her with the Sit-Out Butterfly Cradle Drop. However, rather than going for the pinfall, Rei picked Clover up in a seated position and locked her in a Reverse Full Nelson, the crowd cheering and chanting for Clover to tap. The referee was focused on Clover, the crowd booing as Jerry took advantage of the distraction, punching Rei in the face to help Clover escape the hold. The crowd booed as Clover picked herself back up, and while Jerry climbed up to the ring apron to distract the referee, Clover reached into her tights and pulled out a pair of brass knuckles.

"Oh, so that's why Clover and Jerry were talking during the match! Jerry handed Clover his signature brass knuckles!" Nigel exclaimed as Clover put the brass knuckles on and hit Rei in the gut with the brass knuckles, sending Rei falling onto her knees. The crowd booed as Clover told the crowd that the match was over, but the crowd exploded into cheers as Sam ran down the entranceway, and while the referee was still distracted with Jerry, slid into the ring, and grabbed Clover's hand, pulling the brass knuckles off of her hand. Clover attempted to hit Sam with a punch to the side of the face, but Sam ducked and hit Clover in the face with the brass knuckles before sliding out of the ring.

"And Sam has had enough of Clover's cheating and her big mouth!" Beth exclaimed as Jerry dropped down and attempted to confront Sam, but the crowd exploded into cheers again as Sam knocked Jerry out with the brass knuckles again. Meanwhile, in the ring, Rei staggered back to her feet while holding her gut in pain, looked over at Sam, and mouthed her thanks to her before picking Clover up, and hitting her with a Sit-Put Powerbomb of her own before climbing up to the top rope, slightly slower due to the pain in her stomach. The crowd continued cheering loudly as Rei dived off of the top rope, finally hitting Clover with the Light From Above (Frog Splash) before going for the pinfall.

*Bell Rings*

"Here is your winner, 'the Shining Ace' Rei Ayanami!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd continuing to cheer as Rei rolled out of the ring while holding her stomach in pain. The crowd smiled slightly as she heard the crowd chanting her name, with Rei walking towards Sam, once again thanking her for assisting her in the match. Sam said that it was no problem, and the crowd cheered even louder as Sam raised Rei's arm up in victory, looking on in the ring, where Clover was still down on the ground, knocked out from the brass knuckles and the Frog Splash.

"It's official! We will have a Fatal-4-Way for the BTWF World Women's Championship at StarShow!" Nigel exclaimed, the crowd continuing to cheer as Sam turned Rei towards her and extended her hand out. Rei did not hesitate in taking her hand and shaking her hand, telling Sam that she was going to enjoy wrestling her at StarShow. Before Sam could respond, the lights in the arena went down and turned blood red, the crowd booing as the TitanTron turned on, revealing BTWF World Women's Champion Sherry Blendy sitting in a rocking chair with Medusa Gorgon standing next to her.

"Well, well, well, look at you, Rei. You have finally achieved what you wanted; an opportunity to get your holy grail back. Though I must say, seeing you basking in the light of victory has become quite…rare," Sherry said with a smirk. However, despite her confident words, Sherry was noticeably hugging the BTWF World Women's Championship belt close to her chest. Rei and Sam looked on as Medusa ran her hands through Sherry's pink hair, not looking intimidated in the slightest.

"Your efforts are hardly worth it, Rei, as you will be left much like I left you at Christmas Chaos; lying in a pool of your own blood and you deprived of what you value in wrestling above all else; the BTWF World Women's Championship," Sherry explained, chucking at the memory of Rei being bloodied from their First Blood match. While Sam was distracted by Sherry on the TitanTron, Clover rushed out of the ring, tackled Sam to the ground, and the two engaged in a brawl on the floor, the crowd chanting for Sam as the two continued exchanging punches with each other. Rei looked as though she was going to intervene, but was quickly reminded of Sherry when she saw flames erupt from the ring apron.

"DO NOT IGNORE ME! You believe that you're path to StarShow is clear and you will be able to reclaim your prize!? Your Highway to Hell is far from over, Rei, as next week, you will face Tina Belcher, and she will give you only a taste of the suffering you can expect at StarShow!" Sherry exclaimed in anger, with Rei nodding, accepting the challenge. Sherry's sour mood suddenly flipped, as Sherry began cackling while the TitanTron faded to black, with the lights returning back to normal, and the referees trying to separate Clover and Sam, who continued brawling and trash-talking with each other.

"Sherry continuing to exert her dominance and control over the Octane Women's Division, pitting Rei against a member of her Sisterhood!" Okabe exclaimed as Rei rushed into the fray, battling with Clover to show Sam some support, but the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Akira rushed into the fray, brawling with Rei while Sam and Clover continued their brawl. Jerry, while leaning against the side of the ring, yelled at the referees to break up the fight, with the camera panning to the locker room while the brawl continued going on. In the locker room, Valentino Calavera was wrapping wrist tape around his fist, cracking his fingers before looking into the camera.

"Manny, you know, I was fully willing to let you do your thing while Frida and I did ours. But what you did to Frida a couple of weeks ago has completely crossed the line! If you hadn't kicked me in the groin at Last Gasp, I would've destroyed you inside that Chamber, and you know that!" Valentino exclaimed, punching one of the lockers next to him as hard as he could. Valentino took several deep breaths before running his hand through his hair, looking back into the camera with a glare on his face.

"And the fact you associated with that scumbag Rachel says all I need to know about you. Rachel, I don't know what spell you have over Baam, but whoever you have to face me after the commercial break, I'm going to kick their ass. And when I'm done with whoever your hired gun is, I'm going to finish what I started at Last Gasp, and send Manny to the same hospital that he put Frida in!" Valentino exclaimed before slapping himself in the sides of his face several times before stomping out of the locker room as the camera panned to a commercial break.

*Commercial Break*

*Commercial Over*

The camera panned back to the backstage area, where Alex Vasquez was doing some push-ups while Misato Katsuragi was stretching her legs on one of the production trucks.

"Misato, not that I don't appreciate you helping me train, but why are we doing this in the middle of the hallway?" Alex asked while continuing to do her push-ups.

"People are going to be walking through this hallway, and that's going to distract you. The whole point of this exercise is to keep your mind free from distractions," Misato explained, grabbing a beer from her pocket, and taking a big swig of it while still stretching her legs.

"Does this have something to do with the fact we're involved in that Triple Threat tag match next week?" Alex asked as Misato playfully ruffled Alex's hair while she was still doing push-ups.

"Exactly. Multi-team matches always provide distractions, and if we want to guarantee getting a big match at StarShow, we have to make sure we keep our minds laser-focused on getting the victory rather than keeping our eyes on three other people," Misato continued explaining, finishing her beer can before throwing it around Alex's general vicinity. Alex, while continuing her push-ups, grabbed the beer can with one hand, put it neatly on top of another production crate, and continued her push-ups unabated. Misato gave Alex a thumbs-up accompanied by a proud smile as the camera panned back to the stage, where Dragon Lee's 'Catch Me in the Pit' theme song played, the crowd cheering as Valentino walked out of the back, with his head looking down at the ground.

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Approaching the ring, from Monte Macabre Mexico, Valentino Calavera!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd cheering as Valentino shook his head fast enough to send some of the water flying out of his hair. Valentino then shot his head up, spitting water in the air before letting out a battle cry, much to the delight of the fans, before stomping down the entranceway. The crowd continued cheering as Valentino fist-bumped several fans in the front row while keeping a determined look on his face.

"We've been seeing a completely different side of Valentino since Rachel Light and Manny Rivera sent Valentino's girlfriend, Frida Suarez, to the hospital," Nigel explained as Valentino continued walking to the ringside area. When Valentino made it to the ringside area, he took off his ring jacket, and walked up the steel steps, jumping over the top rope and stomping into the ring. Valentino then stomped on the center of the ring and shot his right fist in the air, the crowd continued to cheer and chant for Valentino as he walked to the corner, and began stretching while waiting for Rachel's handpicked opponent.

"Valentino has a new sense of motivation, and that motivation is much more personal than any championship!" Okabe exclaimed as LA Knight's 'Rollin' Deep' theme song played, the crowd booing as Jean Kirstein came out of the back with his traditional hand mirror in his right hand. While Jean was looking at himself, the crowd booed louder as Rachel, Manny, El Oso, and Baam came walking out with Jean, with Rachel patting Jean on the back, telling Valentino that he was going down.

"And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Rachel Light and the SuperNova, from the Trost District in Shiganshina, he is 'The Definition of Perfection' Jean Kirstein!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd continuing to boo as Rachel continued trash-talking Valentino to the camera, saying that the SuperNova was going to be the next super-group of the Fanfiction Wrestling Multiverse. Baam looked hesitant about going against Valentino but continued following Rachel's lead, with Jean continuing to look at himself in the mirror, ignoring the booing fans.

"The SuperNova? Since when were Rachel and her group of misfits called the SuperNova?" Beth asked as Rachel got Jean's attention, and told him to show no mercy against Valentino and to make sure he joined Frida in the hospital. Jean, while continuing to look at his reflection in the mirror, nodded and told Rachel that he'd do it. Rachel then commanded the other members of the SuperNova to surround the ring, with Baam, Manny, and El Oso surrounding the sides of the ring while Valentino continued stretching in the corner. Valentino didn't look afraid and even told Jean to take his face out of the mirror and face him.

"Rachel says that everyone under her employ is going to shine not just like a star, but like a Supernova," Okabe explained as Jean handed his mirror to Rachel, and climbed up the steel steps and into the ring. Rachel applauded Jean, who yelled at the fat, ugly, sweathogs to keep their booing to a minimum so that he could show the ladies what an actual sexy man looked like. Jean took his robe off, the crowd booing as he threw the robe at Valentino before swiveling his hips, causing the crowd to boo louder. However, those boos turned to cheers as Valentino threw the robe at Jean's head, allowing him to hit several punches to the side of Jean's head, sending him staggering into the corner before the referee pulled Valentino away.

"Valentino is like a powder keg ready to explode right now, and I don't think it's a good idea for Jean to light the fuse!" Nigel exclaimed as the referee made sure both men were ready before ringing the bell. Valentino and Jean exchanged forearms to the side of the head, the crowd booing as Jean poked Valentino in the eye, throwing him into the corner. The crowd booed as Jean hit several back elbows to the side of the head, but Valentino was able to block another elbow strike, turn Jean around, and kick Jean in the gut several times. The crowd continued cheering as Valentino exploded out of the corner with a Jumping Clothesline almost turning Jean inside out.

"Valentino with a hard clothesline out of the corner, taking Jean down to the mat!" Nigel exclaimed as Valentino hit Jean with a Running Elbow Drop to the chest. The crowd continued cheering before Valentino put Jean in a side headlock, punching Jean in the face multiple times before the referee threatened to disqualify him if he didn't stop. Valentino let go of Jean, picked him back up, and hit him with a couple of chops to the chest, but when he attempted to Irish whip Jean into the corner, Jean jumped up to the top turnbuckle and backflipped over Valentino when he attempted to run at him in the corner. Jean attempted to hit a Jumping Spinning Leg Lariat, but Valentino was able to counter with a Spinebuster before going for a pinfall.

"Valentino almost sent Jean through the canvas with that Spinebuster! Jean was able to kick out, but Rachel doesn't look happy that Valentino is dominating this match!" Beth exclaimed as Rachel yelled at Jean to get back in the game. Valentino smirked at Rachel, hitting Jean with a Standing Moonsault before running the ropes, and hitting a seated Jean with a Running Grounded Crossbody. Valentino then picked Jean up and hit him with several punches to the side of the head before throwing him into the corner face-first into the top turnbuckle. Valentino turned Jean around and hit him with multiple forearms to the side of the head before sending him staggering with a Discus Forearm.

"Valentino disorienting Jean with some hard forearms, finally letting out all the anger he's been feeling since he saw Frida carted away to the hospital!" Okabe exclaimed as Valentino ran the ropes, attempting to hit Valentino with a Running Corner Discus Forearm, but Jean was able to counter, throwing Valentino into the corner before running the ropes, attempting a Jumping Stinger Splash. However, Valentino was able to roll out of the corner, sending Jean crashing into the corner once again, allowing Valentino to hit Jean with a German Suplex throw before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2

"That was some impressive strength by Valentino, but Jean still isn't done in this match yet!" Beth exclaimed as Valentino stomped on Jean's gut several times before climbing up to the top turnbuckle. The crowd booed loudly, however, as Rachel jumped onto the apron, and started arguing with Valentino. Valentino pushed Rachel away before attempting to balance himself on the top turnbuckle, but Rachel's distraction allowed Jean to run into the corner, and club Valentino in the back of the head. The crowd continued booing as Jean hit several punches to the back of Valentino's head before climbing up to the top rope and hitting him with a Top Rope Back Suplex.

"And thanks to that well-timed distraction by Rachel Light, Jean is able to take control of this match in the most emphatic way possible!" Okabe exclaimed as Jean staggered back to his feet, and stomped on Valentino's head and chest multiple times. The crowd continued booing as Jean blew some kisses to the female fans before hitting Valentino with a Jumping Leg Drop across the throat. Jean then picked Valentino up and hit him with several punches to the side of the head, grabbed his neck, swiveled his hips, and hit Valentino with a Rude Awakening Neckbreaker before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2.

"Jean Kirstein with the Rick Rude tribute with that Ravishing Neckbreaker, though Valentino still kicked out!" Nigel exclaimed as Jean mounted Valentino, and hit him with several punches to the side of the face before grabbing him by the hair, and throwing him into the ropes. Jean then hit Valentino with a Snap Powerslam, with Rachel, Manny, and Oso applauding on the outside. Baam looked concerned as Jean choked Valentino with his foot, and told the crowd that a fatso like him had no chance. Jean then put Valentino on his knees and hit him on the top of the head with multiple elbow strikes.

"Jean showing off a mean streak in his wrestling here tonight, which is highly unusual for someone as braggadocios. I have a feeling that this must be Rachel's influence," Okabe explained as Jean hit Valentino in the back of the head with a couple of disrespectful slaps. The crowd cheered as Valentino hit Jean in the gut with several back elbows to the gut before getting back to his feet, and hitting Jean in the chest with several more chops. Valentino attempted to run the ropes, but Jean grabbed him and hit him with a Stun Gun over the top rope, but didn't stop there, hitting Valentino with a Reverse Suplex before going for another pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

Ref: 1…2.

"I'm not surprised, considering Rachel is usually a bad influence on people she's around," Beth responded as Jean hit a Standing Corkscrew Senton onto Valentino's chest before dragging Valentino to the ropes, draping his head over the middle rope, and began choking him using his knee to push Valentino's throat into the ropes. The referee pulled Jean away, provoking an argument between the two, and Rachel sought to take advantage of this by telling Baam to hit Valentino in the side of the head with a Drive-By Kick. Baam shook his head, refusing to attack Valentino, causing Rachel to pinch the bridge of her nose before hitting Valentino with a hard slap to the side of the face.

"You think Baam would've learned by now; telling Rachel Light 'no' is usually never a good idea!" Nigel exclaimed as Rachel yelled at Baam that Valentino wasn't his friend anymore and that his job was to help SuperNova. Baam slinked away while in the ring, and Jean picked up a stunned Valentino in a Military-Press Slam. The crowd continued booing as Jean pressed Valentino several times before dropping him on his chest and face before running the ropes and hitting Valentino with a Running Double Leg Drop across the back. The crowd continued booing as Jean stomped on Valentino's back multiple times before putting him in the Camel Clutch, fish-hooking Valentino's nose.

"Jean pulling Valentino back as much as he can with that Camel Clutch, making him humble!" Beth exclaimed as Valentino shook his head, refusing to give up while Jean yelled at Valentino, telling him that he should just quit. Rachel was echoing those sentiments on the outside, as Valentino looked like he was going to pass out. However, the crowd began cheering again as Valentino started picking himself up while Jean was still trying to crank his neck. The crowd continued cheering as Valentino ran back into the corner, ramming Jean's back into the corner, but when he didn't let go, Valentino rammed Jean's back into the corner several more times. Once Jean had finally let go, Valentino ran the ropes and hit Jean in the side of the face with a hard Running Corner Discus Forearm.

"Valentino finally coming back into this match, almost knocking Jean's chin off with that Discus Forearm!" Nigel exclaimed as Valentino took a couple of deep breaths as Jean staggered out of the corner. The crowd continued cheering as Valentino hit Jean with two Running Clotheslines, a Jumping Clothesline, a Jumping Splash to the chest and then ran the ropes to hit a Running Cannonball Senton. The crowd continued cheering as Valentino picked Jean up, hitting several punches to the side of Jean's face before Irish whipping him into the ropes, throwing him into the air with a Flapjack. Valentino then ran the ropes, hitting Jean with a Sliding Forearm to the side of the face before going for the pinfall.

Ref: 1…2..

"Valentino almost knocked Jean unconscious with another hard Forearm to the side of the head, but Jean is still able to kick out," Okabe explained as Valentino picked Jean back up, hit him with a couple of Backfists to the side of the head, ran the ropes before springboarding off of the middle rope, and hitting Jean with a Springboard Clothesline to the chest. Valentino then jumped up to the middle rope, holding the side of his head in pain while waiting for Jean to get back to his feet. When he did, Valentino waved at an irate Rachel before hitting Jean with a Diving Middle Rope Bulldog before going for another pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

Ref: 1…2…

Valentino looked annoyed that Jean had kicked out again before standing back up and picking Jean back up. However, the crowd booed as Jean was able to counter with a Jawbreaker, sending Valentino staggering into the ropes.

"Jean is able to slow Valentino down, but he better make sure that he keeps Valentino slowed down if he wants to maintain that momentum," Okabe explained as Jean hit Valentino with several punches to the gut before Irish whipping him into the ropes. However, Valentino ducked Jean's attempt at a Spinning Leg Lariat, and springboarded off of the middle rope, attempting to hit a Springboard Moonsault onto a standing Jean. However, Jean was able to catch Valentino in mid-air and hit him with a Running Powerslam. The crowd continued booing as Jean quickly jumped up to the middle turnbuckle, and hit Valentino with a Springboard Moonsault.

"We don't see Jean doing Springboard Moonsaults all too often, but when he does, it's effective!" Nigel exclaimed as Jean picked Valentino back up, and attempted to hit him with the Sit-Out Chokeslam, but Valentino was able to flip out of Jean's grasp and land on his feet. Valentino then attempted to hit Jean with a Sit-Out Chokeslam of his own, but Jean was able to backflip out of the move as well, slapping Valentino in the face before hitting him with a Spinning Leg Lariat to the back of the head before quickly going for the pinfall again.

Ref: 1…2…

"Jean almost knocked Valentino's head off with that Spinning Leg Lariat! I'm shocked that Valentino was able to even escape that pinfall there!" Okabe exclaimed as Jean pounded on the mat in frustration, mounted Valentino's back, and hit him with multiple forearms to the back of the head. The referee pulled Jean away from Valentino, with Rachel telling Valentino to just give up while Manny and Oso were applauding Jean's onslaught on Valentino. Jean told the referee to back off before grabbing Valentino, and attempting to lift him up in an Argentine Backbreaker position, preparing to put him in position for the Feast Your Eyes (Argentine Backbreaker Transitioned into a Knee Lift). However, the crowd cheered as Valentino was able to block the Knee Lift, and hit Jean with a Headbutt to the head, allowing him to hit Jean with a One-Handed Spinebuster.

"And Valentino almost broke Jean's back with that One-Handed Spinebuster!" Beth responded as Valentino grabbed Jean, and put him in position for the Gory Special, but Jean was able to quickly escape with several back elbows to the side of the head. Jean then grabbed Valentino's arms and attempted to hit him with a Crucifix Powerbomb, but Valentino was able to throw Jean out of the ring with a Hurricanrana. The crowd continued cheering as Valentino attempted to dive out of the ring, but the crowd booed as Baam and Oso ran over to Jean to provide him cover at Rachel's request. Valentino looked on at the booing crowd and shrugged before running the ropes, and vaulting over the top rope, hitting Baam, Oso, and Jean with a Vaulting Somersault Senton.

"Valentino taking a good chunk of the SuperNova out with that spectacular dive over the top rope!" Beth exclaimed as Valentino picked Jean back up, and smashed his face into the steel ring apron several times before throwing him back into the ring. However, while the referee was distracted by Jean, Manny ran over to Valentino, and hit him with a kick to the back of the head, much to the crowd's chagrin. Rachel looked ecstatic as Manny clubbed Valentino in the back of the head several times before throwing him back into the ring. Jean immediately picked Valentino up and hit him with the Feast Your Eyes (Argentine Backbreaker Transitioned into a Knee Lift). However, before Valentino could fall down, Jean grabbed Valentino by the throat and hit him with a Sit-Out Chokeslam.

"Thanks to that cheap shot from Manny, Jean was able to hit two of his signature moves on Valentino! And the worst part is he's not done yet!" Beth exclaimed as Jean stepped over Valentino's prone chest before climbing up to the top turnbuckle. With Manny giving him a thumbs up and Rachel applauding him on the outside, Jean gave the booing crowd a swivel of the hips before diving off of the top rope with a Jean-ton Bomb (Swanton Bomb) before going for the pinfall, hooking both of Valentino's legs back.

*Bell Rings*

"Here is your winner, representing the SuperNova, 'The Definition of Perfection' Jean Kirstein!" Mary Hughes announced, as Jean pushed the referee away, and grabbed his trust hand mirror. The crowd continued booing as Jean looked at himself in the mirror, fixing his hair while Oso and Manny came back into the ring, and much to the chagrin of the crowd, started stomping on Valentino. Baam got back to his feet, and Rachel told Baam to join in on the beatdown of Valentino, which Baam responded to by shaking his head and attempting to leave. However, Rachel grabbed him by the arm and slapped him in the side of the face, the crowd booing louder as Rachel once again ordered Baam to get into the ring and aid in Valentino's beatdown.

"Jean won the match, but Rachel still finds time to humiliate Baam!" Beth exclaimed in disgust as Baam held the side of his face in shock for a moment before sighing and rolling into the ring. Oso smirked before hitting Valentino with a Chokeslam. Baam walked into the corner and looked guilty as he jumped up to the top rope and reluctantly hit Valentino with the End of the World (Starship Pain). Manny laughed and applauded before rolling into the corner, and when Oso pulled Valentino up by his hair, Manny hit Valentino with the One and Only (Ace Austin's Running Blockbuster).

"SuperNova adding insult to injury, Manny hitting Valentino with the One and Only!" Nigel exclaimed as Rachel applauded her group while Baam looked down, guilty at what he had done. Jean, meanwhile, continued looking at himself in the mirror before Rachel demanded a microphone. The crowd booed as Rachel swiped the microphone away from the ringside attendant and handed it to Manny before pulling an unconscious Valentino up by his hair, forcing him to face Manny.

"You know, Valentino, I was really planning on letting you go about your pathetic career, dragging my ex-girlfriend with you the entire time! But not only have you and that blue-haired bitch been disrespecting me, but you've been disrespecting the woman who believed in me more than my own family did!" Manny exclaimed, the crowd booing and chanting 'Shut the Fuck Up!' at him. Rachel told the crowd that they were the ones who should shut the fuck up while Baam was leaning over the ropes, not wanting to watch what was going on.

"I want to use you as a stepping stone to my rise to the top of the mountain before I kick you right off the damn mountain! That's why I'm challenging you to a match at StarShow so that I can embarrass you and humiliate you the same way you and that blue-hair bitch did to me and Rachel. I expect your answer next week, no me hagas esperar," Manny challenged before hitting Valentino in the side of the head with the microphone, posing to the booing crowd along with Oso, Jean, and Rachel. Rachel planted her foot on Valentino's chest as Baam slowly walked over to the rest of SuperNova.

"We potentially have another show stealer for the StarShow PPV extravaganza! The question is will Valentino accept the challenge after this beatdown from the SuperNova!?" Nigel asked as the camera panned backstage while Rachel patted Baam on the back, and told him that they were going to go straight to the top. Manny told the fans that he was going to take another piece of trash out at StarShow before the camera focused on the locker room, where Millianna was resting after some exercise before Kagura Mikazuchi came walking into the locker room.

"What do you want, Kagura? If you're here to blame me for the fact we're not Women's Tag Team Champions, then you can just leave because I'm not in the mood to hear it," Millianna said, waving her hand to blow Kagura off, but rather than leave, Kagura sat down next to Millianna. Kagura then offered Millianna a water bottle, an expression of guilt etched on her face.

"Listen…I just wanted to say that I'm sorry. I've been putting a lot of pressure on us because I know we can succeed and climb to the top of the Women's Tag Division in the BTWF. But recently I've realized that I'm putting such a deep wedge in our friendship, and for that, I'm sorry," Kagura confessed. Millianna looked baffled at what Kagura was saying, taking the water bottle Kagura offered, and taking a swig of it before taking a deep breath and nodding.

"That…means a lot. I don't want our team and friendship to split up, but I need to know if I can trust you or not. The reason we even became wrestlers in the first place is to have fun, and this whole thing needs to end before we do something that we'll regret," Millianna explained before putting the water bottle down and stretching her hand out. Kagura responded by shaking Millianna's hand and pulling Millianna into a hug, which Millianna returned quickly.

"I don't know when we're going to get the chance to show the fans what we're capable of, but we're going to do it together as a team," Kagura said, the two embracing each other once again before the camera panned back to the stage. The crowd began cheering as 'Defy' by Of Mice and Men played, with Black Star rolling out of the backstage area, kipping back to his feet with a serious look on his face rather than the confident smirk that was normally on his face. Black Star ran his hands through his blue hair and looked on at the cheering crowd before raising his hands up and creating a star shape with his fingers.

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the BTWF Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, from Death City, Nevada, Black Star!" Mary Hughes announced as the crowd continued cheering while Black Star showed off his fingers in a star shape. Black Star then walked down the entranceway, high-fiving the fans in the front row while looking at the camera, saying that he was heading straight to StarShow. Black Star continued by saying that he was going to blow people's minds by taking the BTWF Championship from Natsu while continuing to high-five fans.

"Black Star earned this BTWF Championship match by helping Natsu in his war with the Chaos Conspiracy last week. We haven't seen Black Star or Natsu Dragneel due to them training for this main event match," Okabe explained as Black Star ran past the ringside area, sliding into the ring from underneath the bottom rope. Black Star then rolled back to his feet, and jumped up to the top turnbuckle, once again making his fingers into a star shape. The crowd continued cheering as Black Star nodded along with the cheering crowd before jumping back down to the canvas and sliding into the center of the ring. Black Star once again raised his hands, showing off the star shape that his fingers were in, telling Kaminari that he was going to go up against him with the BTWF Championship on the line at StarShow.

"Black Star may be focused, but he still has all the confidence in the world that he's going to StarShow the BTWF Champion!" Nigel exclaimed as Black Star went into the corner and waited for Natsu to come out. He wouldn't have to wait long, as 'Indestructible' by Disturbed played, the crowd exploding into cheers as Natsu walked out of the back with the BTWF Championship around his waist. Natsu looked on at the cheering fans with a smirk on his face before doing his signature 'Dra-gon-eel' taunt while pyro shot out of the sides and corners of the TitanTron. Natsu patted the BTWF Championship and walked off the stage and down the entranceway, with Black Star focusing his gaze on Natsu.

"And his opponent, from Magnolia Fiore, he is the BTWF Champion, 'Indestructible' Natsu Dragneel!" Mary Hughes announced, the crowd continuing to cheer as Natsu fist-bumped and high-fived fans in the front row, telling Kaminari that he hoped that he was watching. Natsu continued telling Kaminari that he better be taking notes of this upcoming title match before he made it to the ringside area. Natsu took the BTWF Championship off of around his waist, the crowd exploding into cheers once again as he raised the championship over his head.

"After Kaminari's words at the beginning of the night, and his attack on Soul earlier in the night, he has space in the head of both Natsu Dragneel and Black Star," Beth explained as Natsu slid the BTWF Championship in the ring from underneath the bottom rope and followed it into the ring by sliding underneath the bottom rope. Natsu then jumped back to his feet and spun around with his fists in the air before picking his BTWF Championship up, and handing it to the referee. While the referee held the BTWF Championship in the air for the fans to see, Natsu jumped up to the top rope, doing the 'Dra-gon-eel' taunt once again before jumping back down to the canvas.

"If that's the case, then they need to forget about Kaminari for now. They'll have to deal with him at StarShow, but Natsu and Black Star need to make sure that they walk out of Octane tonight with the BTWF Championship," Okabe countered before the referee handed the BTWF Championship to one of the ringside attendants, and made sure that both Black Star and Natsu were ready. Black Star walked out of the corner and up to Natsu, telling both Natsu and the referee that he was ready, and Natsu responded with a smirk and a pat on the shoulder. The referee then told the timekeeper to ring the bell, starting the match with both Black Star and Natsu staring at each other as if daring the other to make the first move.

"This match is underway, but the question is who is going to make the first move?" Nigel asked as Black Star and Natsu locked up in the middle of the ring, each man failing to push the other. The crowd cheered as Natsu took Black Star down with a Drop Toe Hold, and attempted to put him in a Side Headlock, but the crowd continued cheering as Black Star rolled around on the ground, able to lock Natsu in a Side Headlock of his own. After a moment on the ground, the crowd continued cheering as Natsu picked himself back up on his feet, and attempted to throw Black Star off of him, but Black Star was able to keep the Headlock locked on.

"Black Star immediately showing his tenacity, keeping the Side Headlock locked in to slow Natsu down," Okabe explained as Natsu attempted to pick Black Star up for a Back Suplex, but Black Star was able to counter with a Snapmare Headlock Takedown. After a moment, the crowd cheered louder as Natsu was finally able to counter the Side Headlock into a Headscissors. The crowd continued cheering as Black Star attempted to kip back up to his feet, but Natsu was able to keep him grounded with the Headscissors. Black Star was finally able to push Natsu off of him after rolling onto his stomach, and while Natsu was trying to get back up, Black Star grabbed Natsu by the arm and attempted to wring it. However, Natsu was able to cartwheel out of the arm hold and take Black Star down with a Hip Toss.

"Natsu sending Black Star down with a Hip Toss!" Beth exclaimed as Natsu ran the ropes and attempted to hit Black Star with a Running Penalty Kick, but Black Star was able to duck and push Natsu away with his feet. When Natsu rebounded, Black Star attempted to hit him with a Grounded Monkey Flip, but Natsu was once again able to cartwheel out of the way, and when Black Star kipped back up to his feet, Natsu attempted to hit him with a Spinning Leg Lariat, but Black Star was able to duck out of the way. Black Star then ran the ropes and attempted to hit Natsu with an Arm Drag, but Natsu was able to land on his feet and attempted to hit Black Star with a DDT, which Black Star responded to by pushing him into the corner.

"Natsu and Black Star have been dead even, nobody able to get the advantage in this match. Natsu may have underestimated Black Star in this contest," Okabe explained as Black Star ran into the corner, attempting to hit Natsu with a Running Corner Big Boot, but Natsu was able to roll out of the corner. Black Star was able to stop himself from landing awkwardly into the corner and attempted to hit a Springboard Crossbody from the middle rope onto Natsu, but Natsu ducked. Black Star was able to land on his feet and attempted to hit Natsu with a Wheelbarrow Bulldog, but Natsu was able to counter, rolling Black Star up with a Crucifix Pin.

Black Star rolled out of the Crucifix, and rolled Natsu up in another pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

"Black Star still showing Natsu that he is ready for that top spot, and is ready to take it from Natsu!" Beth exclaimed as Black Star attempted to hit Natsu with a Suplex, but the crowd exploded as Natsu landed on his feet, and hit a Spinning Leg Lariat to Black Star's head. The crowd continued cheering as Natsu hit a Standing Moonsault onto Black Star, put him in a seated position, and ran the ropes before hitting Black Star with a Penalty Kick to the side of the face. The crowd continued cheering as Natsu picked Black Star up, and threw him into the corner before running into the corner, hitting Black Star with a Running Corner Clothesline before backflipping away from the corner.

"And just as you say that Beth, Natsu has taken control of this match, using his speed to hit that first powerful strike on Black Star before he could even counter it!" Nigel exclaimed as Natsu attempted to run into the corner with a Running Shoulder Thrust, but Black Star was able to counter, hitting Natsu with a kick to the side of the head. Black Star then jumped up to the middle rope and hit a Diving Middle Rope Missile Dropkick to Natsu's chest. The crowd continued cheering as Black Star picked Natsu up, and hit him with several Knife-Edge Chops to the chest before attempting to hit him with a kick to the side of the head. However, Natsu was able to duck the kick with the splits, and from the ground, kicking Black Star with a couple of kicks to the gut.

"Natsu with the splits and the kicks to Black Star, sending Black Star staggering away!" Beth exclaimed as Natsu attempted to hit Black Star with a head kick of his own, but Black Star was able to Matrix dodge out of the way, and knock Natsu into the ropes with a Dropkick to the face. Black Star ran the ropes and attempted to knock Natsu out of the ring with a Clothesline, but Natsu was able to send Black Star over the top rope and onto the apron. Natsu attempted to grab Black Star, but Black Star hit several punches to the side of Natsu's head and attempted to hit him with a Suplex onto the apron, but Natsu was able to land on his feet.

"Black Star has been very impressive in this match, constantly keeping Natsu on his toes!" Nigel exclaimed as Natsu and Black Star started exchanging punches on the apron before Black Star kicked Natsu right in the face. Black Star then picked Natsu up, picked him up in a Fireman's Carry, and attempted to hit Natsu with a Death Valley Driver on the steel ring apron. However, the crowd continued cheering as Natsu was able to push Black Star away, kicked him in the side of the head, and hit a Running Headscissors onto Black Star that sent him crashing onto the padded concrete floor. Natsu then ran to the center of the ring apron, and hit a Springboard Moonsault to a downed Black Star, landing right on his chest.

Ref: 1…2…3

"Natsu with a beautiful Springboard Moonsault onto Black Star, nearly caving in his chest!" Okabe exclaimed as Natsu high-fived several fans in the front row before picking Black Star up, and hit him with several punches to the side of the head before throwing Black Star into the side of the steel steps. Natsu then attempted to hit a Running Hesitation Dropkick onto Black Star, but Black Star was able to roll away from the steel steps and attempted to hit Natsu with a Rolling Thunder Clothesline. However, Natsu was able to hit Black Star with a Snap Powerslam onto the padded concrete before picking him back up and throwing him into the fan barricade.

Ref: …4…5…6

"I wonder what Natsu has planned now, as Black Star hasn't shown any sign of giving up against one of the biggest stars in the BTWF!" Beth exclaimed as Natsu hit Black Star with a Gourdbuster, sending his chest crashing onto the top fan barricade. Natsu then positioned Black Star on top of the fan barricade and punched him several times in the gut before sliding back into the ring briefly to break up the referee's count. Natsu waved at the referee and the cheering crowd before rolling back onto the ring apron. Natsu then performed the 'Dra-gon-eel' taunt before attempting to hit Black Star with a Spinning Guillotine Leg Drop to the back, but Black Star was able to push himself out of the way, causing Natsu to fall onto the fan barricade.

"Oh! And Natsu crashed and burned, his leg smashing against the top of the fan barricade!" Nigel exclaimed with a wince. Black Star staggered back to his feet, and hit Natsu in the side of the head with a Savate Kick, sending him falling off of the fan barricade. Black Star then backed away, and ran over to the fan barricade, jumping over the fan barricade and hitting Natsu with a Diving Twisting Splash from over the fan barricade. Black Star grabbed his gut in pain, the crowd cheering as he picked Natsu up, and threw him into the steel ring post chest and face first before running after him, hitting Natsu with a Running Dropkick to the back of the head, sending Natsu's face bouncing off of the steel ring post.

Ref: 1…2…3

"Black Star finally regaining momentum in this match, sending Natsu crashing right into the steel ring post!" Beth exclaimed as Black Star threw Natsu back into the ring, springboarding back into the ring with a Leg Drop across Natsu's throat. The crowd continued cheering as Black Star grabbed Natsu, and hit him several times in the side of the head with Forearms before running the ropes and knocking Natsu into the ropes with a Spinning Wheel Kick. Black Star looked over at the BTWF Championship in the timekeeper's area and hit several Knife-Edge Chops to Natsu's chest while keeping him leaned against the ropes.

"Black Star nailing some hard chops to the chest, which sent some blood flying off of Natsu's head!" Nigel exclaimed as Black Star ran the ropes, and while Natsu was still leaning against the ropes, hit several Running Forearms to the sides of Natsu's head. Black Star then pulled a dazed Natsu away from the ropes, jumped up to the middle turnbuckle, and hit a Middle Rope Diving Bulldog before going for a pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

Ref: 1…2.

Natsu kicked out of the pin, but Black Star immediately responded by running the ropes and hitting several Sliding Leg Drops across the throat before running the ropes again and hitting a Jumping Twisting Leg Drop across the throat.

"Black Star doing the smart thing and keeping the BTWF Champion down so that he can prevent Natsu from increasing the pace of the match," Okabe explained as Black Star picked Natsu back up, and threw him into the corner with an Irish whip. Black Star ran into the corner, hitting Natsu with a Running Corner Big Boot to the side of Natsu's head before dragging him out of the corner, and hitting him with an Elevated Flatliner. The crowd continued cheering as Black Star ran the ropes, and hit Natsu in the side of the head with a Single Leg Basement Dropkick before hitting a Jumping Senton to the chest.

"Not only that, but he's constantly on the attack because he knows if he gives Natsu even a second of reprieve, Natsu can take advantage, steal the victory, and retain the championship!" Nigel exclaimed as Black Star grabbed Natsu's arms, and attempted to lock him in a Camel Clutch, but Natsu was able to pull himself out of the hold, the crowd continuing to cheer as Natsu punched Black Star in the face several times. Natsu then ran the ropes and attempted to hit him with a Running Crossbody, but Black Star countered this with an Overhead Belly-to-Belly Suplex, sending Natsu crumpled up into the corner. The crowd continued cheering as Black Star walked over to Natsu, stomped on him, and put him in the Tree of Woe before running the ropes, and hitting Natsu with a Running Knee Strike to the chest while he was still in the Tree of Woe position.

"Black Star with a knee strike to the chest, nearly knocking the wind out of Natsu!" Beth exclaimed as Black Star picked Natsu up, and put him on the top turnbuckle, clubbing him in the back several times. Black Star then climbed up on the top turnbuckle to join him, clubbing him in the back of the neck once again, though the crowd cheered louder as Natsu was able to hit several back elbows to the side. The crowd continued cheering as Natsu moved those back elbows to the side of Black Star's face, but Black Star was able to maintain his grip on Natsu, hitting him with a Spider Back Suplex. Natsu crashed onto the canvas chest first before Black Star pulled himself back up to the top turnbuckle, and hit Natsu with a Double Rotation Moonsault before going for the pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

Ref: 1…2…

"Black Star hit an amazing Moonsault onto the BTWF Champion, but Natsu was still able to roll his shoulder off of the mat!" Nigel exclaimed as Black Star grabbed Natsu by his arms, and locked him in a Seated Abdominal Stretch. The crowd cheered and chanted for both Natsu and Black Star as Natsu told the referee that he wasn't giving up. Black Star tightened his grip on the Seated Abdominal Stretch, but Natsu began getting back to his feet, the crowd cheering louder as Natsu kicked Black Star in the chest several times as hard as he could. The crowd continued cheering as Black Star staggered to the ropes, but Black Star kneed Natsu in the gut several times, walked onto the ring apron, and stretched Natsu up with the Abdominal Stretch over the ropes.

"Black Star showing off some creativity there by using the ropes to aid in the Abdominal Stretch," Okabe explained as before the referee got to the 5 count, Black Star let go of the hold. Black Star then kicked a stunned Natsu in the side of the head, sending him staggering away from the ropes. Black Star then attempted to springboard back into the ring with a Springboard Crossbody, but Natsu was able to counter with a Superkick, the crowd cheering as Black Star was turned inside out from the kick before Natsu fell onto all fours, trying to catch his breath while holding his chest.

"Natsu finally able to stop Black Star dead in his tracks with that hard Superkick!" Beth exclaimed as Natsu and Black Star pulled themselves back up to their feet, the crowd cheering as Natsu and Black Star exchanged punches with each other, the crowd cheering slightly louder when Natsu's punches connected. Natsu was able to win this strike exchange after hitting a Jumping Spinning Roundhouse Kick to the side of Black Star's face, sending him staggering into the ropes. When Black Star rebounded, Natsu ran the ropes and hit him with two Clotheslines, a Superkick to the chest, and a Jumping Leg Drop across the back of a bent over Black Star's head. The crowd continued cheering as Natsu ran the ropes and hit Black Star with the Rolling Fire (Rolling Thunder) before jumping back up to their feet and springboarding off of the middle rope to hit a Springboard 630 Senton to the chest before going for the pinfall.

"Natsu nearly crushing Black Star's chest with a Springboard 630 Senton! This is why Natsu's the BTWF Champion; always putting new moves in his arsenal to catch his opponents off guard!" Nigel exclaimed before Natsu picked Black Star up, and hit him with multiple kicks to the sides of the legs and his abdomen before running the ropes, and hitting Black Star with a Dropkick to the knee. With Black Star on one knee, Natsu springboarded off of the middle rope once again and hit Black Star with a Springboard DDT before dragging him into the corner, and hitting Black Star with a Split-Legged Moonsault to the chest before going for another pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

"Black Star once again surprising Natsu with how much punishment he's taking!" Beth exclaimed as Natsu climbed up to the top rope, preparing to hit the Five Star Dragon Splash (Five Star Frog Splash). However, Black Star was able to get back to his feet and hit Natsu with a Jumping Palm Strike to the chin before running the ropes, and throwing him off of the top turnbuckle with a Japanese Arm Drag. Natsu got back to his feet, and while he was holding his back, Black Star dived off of the top turnbuckle, hitting Natsu with a Diving Hurricanrana with enough force to send him into the ropes. Black Star then ran the ropes and knocked Natsu onto the ring apron with a Big Boot to the face.

"Black Star responding to Natsu's offense with one of the hardest kicks I've seen in a while!" Okabe exclaimed as Black Star ran the ropes, and attempted to hit Natsu with a Vaulting Headscissors off of the ring apron, but Natsu was able to catch Black Star. However, before Natsu could throw Black Star away, he was able to send Natsu crashing into the steel ring post. Black Star then jumped back onto the middle rope, grabbed Natsu, deadlifted him over the top rope, and hit him with a Deadlift Superplex. The crowd continued cheering as Black Star then deadlifted Natsu back up, and hit him with a Brainbuster before going for the pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

"Black Star showing off a level of strength that I did not expect! Black Star is really pulling out all the stops to win the top prize in the BTWF!" Okabe exclaimed as Black Star climbed back up to the top rope, the crowd cheering as Black Star attempted to hit the Falling Star (Alexa Bliss' Twisting Bliss). However, the crowd cheered as Natsu lifted his knees up, causing Black Star's chest to crash into his knees, the crowd chanting for both Natsu and Black Star as Natsu staggered back to his feet, and attempted to hit Black Star with an Enziguri, but Black Star countered by ducking the Enziguri and attempted to hit Natsu with a German Suplex, but Natsu was able to roll Black Star up with a Victory Roll.

"The two are exchanging pinfalls, and despite all they've gone through throughout this match, they're still kicking out!" Nigel exclaimed as Natsu and Black Star then began rapidly and wildly exchanging punches and kicks. Black Star then hit Natsu with a Discus Back Elbow before attempting to hit Natsu with a Snap DDT, but Natsu pushed Black Star away, and the two men continued brawling until both men hit kicks to the side of their heads at the same time, sending both men staggering. Black Star then attempted to hit Natsu with a Running Spanish Fly, but Natsu was able to counter this attempted move with a Sit-Out Powerbomb. The crowd continued cheering as Natsu picked Black Star back up, and hit him with the Fire God's Destruction (Package Fallaway Powerbomb).

"Natsu has this match won! That Package Fallaway Powerbomb folded Black Star like an accordion!" Beth exclaimed as Natsu went into the corner, and jumped up to the top rope, the crowd exploding into cheers as Natsu hit Black Star with the Five Star Dragon Splash (Five Star Frog Splash) before going for the pinfall, hooking both of his legs back.

"Here is your winner, and still the BTWF Champion, Natsu Dragneel!" Mary Hughes announced as Natsu got back to his feet, and shot both of his fists up, looking up at the BTWF StarShow sign over the commentary team. The ringside attendant then handed the BTWF Championship to the referee, who in turn handed it back to Natsu, the crowd continuing to cheer and chant Natsu's name as he raised the championship over his head before putting it over his shoulder and doing the 'Dra-gon-eel' taunt. Meanwhile, Black Star grabbed the top rope, pulled himself up to his feet, and staggered over to the BTWF Champion.

"Natsu getting another successful title defense under his belt heading to StarShow!" Nigel exclaimed as Black Star extended his hand out, to which Natsu responded with a hearty handshake almost immediately. Natsu then pulled Black Star into a hug, telling him that he was going to be in Natsu's position one of these days. However, while Black Star and Natsu were embracing each other, the crowd exploded into boos as Kaminari ran into the ring, grabbed Black Star, and threw him into the steel ring post. The crowd continued booing as Kaminari quickly slid out of the ring, and hit Black Star with a Rope Hung DDT onto the padded concrete before he slid back into the ring, flipping the crowd off.

"Natsu doesn't have time to celebrate though, especially with a hungry Denki Kaminari breathing down his neck!" Okabe exclaimed as Kaminari told Natsu that Black Star wasn't going to become a star. Kaminari continued by saying that he's the real up-and-coming star and that Black Star is nothing but a loser. Natsu responds by calling Kaminari desperate, saying that throwing Mordecai off of a cage and attacking Soul from behind doesn't scare him, and he's going to beat some respect and some humility back into Kaminari.

"Kaminari's done plenty of horrible things since he's turned to the dark side, but according to him, it's all led to his first major title opportunity!" Beth exclaimed as Kaminari smirked at Natsu, and told him that StarShow was going to end with him holding the BTWF Championship. Scam ran down the entranceway as Kaminari and Natsu's argument became more and more heated, and before Kaminari could strike at Natsu, Scam pulled him back, telling Kaminari to wait until another time. Kaminari and Natsu continued staring at each other with anger in their eyes before the show faded to black.
