Dragon Warriors

in A New Quest

East Liverpool, a city where people and dragons live together in peace, but the evil Origa Discordia will stop at nothing to destroy East Liverpool and rule the world. That's why the Dragon Warriors are here to stop her, they came from the dimension of Eostia to recapture and restore order to the now devastated East Liverpool.

But they won't do it alone since they made new friends in East Liverpool such as the Shadowbolts who became the Warriors' Auxiliary Riders, the East Liverpool Police Department, and one friend and nephew Toby Mason.

And at East Liverpool Connor, the leader of the Dragon Warriors is flying with his dragon Shade the Night Fury Connor laughed at the thrill of the excitement.

"Are you ready Shade?" Connor asked Shade, who responded with a grunt. "Then let's go." he said.

Then Shade flew up to the sky and then he dove back down and he started to spin around, and once they're close to the city, Shade opened his wings and flew. And then he pushed his swings for even more speed which causes the blow to make contact with the people, and because of that excitement Connor laughed and so did Shade.

"Alright Shade, let's go home." said Connor as they headed back to the catacombs.

Connor and Shade flew to an alley and a beeping sound was heard, and then the wall opened to reveal a secret passage to the catacombs and they went in and the passage wall closed.

They flew to a tunnel and did a few turns until they made it to the catacombs where the Warriors are doing one of their own routines.

"Hey you guys!" they heard Connor calling, and then both Connor and Shade came in and everyone took cover and they landed.

"Connor, you idiot!" Alicia yelled in anger. "Watch where your going!" she yelled.

"Sorry Alicia, I was just taking Shade flying. And also, I do love the new door Grave built." said Connor.

"Thank you." said Grave.

"Well you should be more careful when you're flying." Alicia argued.

"Quite!" Vault came while holding a pen. "I'm trying to grade tests!" Vault said.

"Take it easy Alicia, it's not like Connor's flying is gonna destroy the catacombs." said Maia.

"Thank you, Maia." said Connor. "At least someone knows my dragon training." he said as he gave Alicia a smirk.

"Oh, knock it off." Alicia said in annoyance.

"Quite you two." said Beardsley who is sitting on a chair. "My soap operas on." he said as he turned on the TV.

Meanwhile at Origa's gave, Gorg and Troox are making sure that their armies are in top shape for when they run into the Dragon Warriors.

"You incompetent imps!" Troox yelled at his soldiers. "Give my fifty!" he ordered, and the goblins did push-ups.

"How's the training session been going?" Chloe came.

"Terrible." Troox answered. "I've trained them hand-to-hand combat, sword training, and even marksmanship training. But still, they've all been beating by the Dragon Warriors." he explained to Chloe.

"Can you blame them." they looked up and spotted Owen standing on a ledge, then he jumped and did a front flip and landed on the ground. "They've been getting better since we busted that kids other out of jail." he said.

"Yeah. And whatever happened to Jason when he left?" Troox questioned on Jason's whereabouts.

"He's probably forming his own army of crabs or something." said Chloe.

"Hey guys check it out." Gorg called as he turned up the TV.

"In other news a mysterious ship has been found sailing the Ohio River near East Liverpool." said the news reporter, which got the four's attention.

"That's interesting." Owen smirked.

Later the Warriors are flying to the mysterious ship, to see if there are any artifacts that can be transferred to the museum.

"I don't get it?" Prim questioned. "Why do we have to inside a 300 year old ship that never sank?" she asked.

"Because Chief Multz wants us to make sure there are any valuable possessions in that ship." Connor answered Prim.

"Well if there are any treasures in that ship, we'll be rich." Vault said with a smile.

"Oh, will you just be an honorable man for once." said Claudia in annoyance.

"Give me some slack. I am a mercenary after all." smirked Vault.

And once they've landed on the ship, the Warriors got off their dragons.

"Alright, let's split up. You guys find to see any treasure in this, me and Shade will look for some any valuable artifact." said Connor which the others nodded.

Connor and Shade climbed down the steps, then Connor took out his flashlight to see, and then he took out his sword and uses it to tap the floor, and then a beartrap caught his sword.

"OK so this ship is filled with booby traps." said Connor as he removed the trap from his sword. Then they continue moving forward, and they came to a room filled with cages and in those cages are filled with dragon bones, which causes Shade to purr sadly. "I know I feel bad too." he patted Shades head in comfort. They looked around and noticed that there are no artifacts in this ship.

"Let's get out of here." said Connor, and just as they're about to leave, Connor accidentally stepped on booby trap and came out crossbows and they began to shoot. And the duo uses their sword and wings to deflect the arrows, they continue to deflect the arrows until they made it to a door. "Captain's quarters." he said. Then Connor opened the door and both he and Shade went in to get away from the arrows.

"That was close." Connor sighed in relief. And the room their in is filled with dragon skulls that are used as trophies, and then Connor spotted something, the skeletal remains of the ship captain, and on his desk is some kind of weird telescope. "Hmm, that's odd? This could be used for Origa if she ever finds it." he said.

So he carefully walked towards the telescope, and he gently lift it up and to his relief, there are no booby traps.

"That wasn't so bad." Connor smiled. And then an axe struck the table which surprises them. "OK let's go!" he said, as he and Shade make a run for it.

Connor and Shade made it outside of the ship with the odd telescope still in Connor's hands.

"Guys!" Connor called. "I've found something!" he said. But none of them answered, and Connor looked around to find them.

"Guys! Where are you!?" asked Connor. Then suddenly, armored dragons came flying around and on an armored Nightmare is Owen.

"Too late Connor, we've already got the treasure in that ship." said Owen. "And maybe we can add that artifact that you have." he said.

"I don't think so Owen." Connor glared.

"Really? Then what about your friends?" Owen mockingly asked as he showed him the Warriors trapped in a cage on a cargo ship that was used to imprison the dragons in the ship, which shocked Connor.

"Let's have a little trade. You give me that thing, and I'll give you you're friends." he said to Connor. But both Connor and Shade just glared at him. "You better think fast." Then the armored dragons blasted at the cargo ship which created a hole, and it started to sink.

Then without no other choice, Connor tossed the telescope to Owen and he mounted onto Shade and flew to rescue the other Warriors.

"That's a good trade." Owen smirked evilly, and he and the armored dragons flew away.

Connor and Shade made it to the ship to rescue their friends.

"Don't worry guys, we'll save you!" said Connor. "Shade, Plasma Blast!" he said. Then Shade fired his shot, but the blast didn't destroy the cage nor leave a scorch mark, which both surprised both Connor and the Warriors.

"This cage is dragon proof!" Luu Luu yelled in shock.

Connor began to think of something else, and he's got. He took out his sword and uses it as a wench he began to push the cage open but it wouldn't budge, then he took a few steps back and he ran toward the cage and hit the sword which is enough force to open the cage door.

Meanwhile, Owen and the others flew away in victory.

"A flawed victory from yours truly." Owen said feeling triumphant as he held onto the telescope.

"Sucker!" Connor flew by and snatched the telescope from Owen's hand. Which surprises him.

"No!" Owen yelled in absolute fury. "Connor stole the device I traded!" he said as Connor flew away.

"It doesn't matter." Origa appeared contacting Owen in a glass shard. "We've got the treasure so let the Warriors keep the device." she ordered.

At the catacombs Grave is trying to open the device while the Warriors are waiting, including the Shadowbolts, William, and Toby who is being held by Prim.

"Are you sure you can open this dragon eye?" asked Connor.

"Dragon eye?" asked Neon.

"Yeah, I named it." he answered to Neon.

"Oh."

"Oh yeah, I can open it. Like how I open treasure chest that we reclaimed from goblins back in Eostia." said Grave as he continued with a grunt, until he heard some clicking noises. "Hello." he said, and the dragon eye fired a dart which struck Neon.

"Ah!" Neon groaned, and he went unconscious by that tranquilizer dart.

"Maybe you should stop Uncle Grave." Toby said in a worried tone.

"Don't worry nephew, I can get it open." said Grave as he continued, and this time the dragon eye sprayed green gas. And this causes everyone to flee, except for Neon who woke up.

"I'm alright." said Neon, and he sniffed the gas. "Never mind." he said as he collapsed, and he began to twitch.

"I'll get Beardsley." said Vault.

Later, Beardsley gave Neon a drink some medicine to cure Neon of his twitching because of the gas.

"My tongue! It itches!" said Neon as he scratches his tongue.

"That's because the medicine is working." said Beardsley. And that's when Beardsley noticed the keyhole on the dragon eye, and this causes eyes to widen in shock, like he knows it, which everyone soon notice his reaction.

"Are you okay, Beardsley?" asked Alicia.

"No. Because the dragon eye's keyhole is similar to mine." Beardsley answered, and he lifted up his sleeve and showed his left arm to everyone which revealed a scar that matches the keyhole of the dragon eye.

"Whoa. That scar matches the keyhole." said Maia. "Where'd he get it from?" she asked.

"A dragon bite." Grave answered Maia. "But he doesn't like to talk about it." he said.

"Then he has to tell us the truth about that dragon bite." said Celestine.

"Don't worry, Celestine. I can take care of it." said Grave with a smirk.

Then Grave opened a pot which released an aroma, which causes Beardsley to drool in hunger.

"It's his only weakness, my homemade chicken and beef soup." said Grave. And just as Beardsley was about to have a taste, Grave snatched the pot away from him. "If you want the soup, you have to confess." he demanded, which causes Beardsley to groan in defeat.

"Alright! I'll tell you!" said Beardsley in defeat, and Grave gave him the pot.

"I'll go get a bowl." said Alicia as she ran to the kitchen, and she came back with a bowl and to her surprise, Beardsley ate the while pot and he sighed in satisfaction.

"All the answers are in my journal, I could just tell you, but I'm too nervous to tell." said Beardsley as he gave his journal to Grave for him to read.

"I was a turkey neck-" Grave read, until Beardsley hit him in the head for misreading the first part. "teenager, I had a longing to climb the snowy mountains to find pure glacial waters known for its healing properties. So I went with two newts." he read, and Beardsley hit him again. "Knights! Sorry I couldn't read your handwriting."

Flashback:

Years ago at the snowy mountains of Eostia, a teenage Beardsley is climbing with two knights to look for the water of the snowy mountain.

"We had only been at the summit for a few hours, when we were hit by a terrible snowstorm." Then a snowstorm hit the party which blocked their sights on the water. "That's when it attacked."

Then a mysterious creature snatched the party one by one until it's only Beardsley.

"It was vicious, relentless, and impossible to see in the white-out." And that's when Beardsley heard a snarling sound. He turned to find the source but couldn't because the creature was moving too fast, and the snarling can be heard from behind. Beardsley turned and spotted the creature in shock. "The Snow Wraith."

The dragon roared at Beardsley which causes him to get out his sickle and swinged it at the dragon.

"Back! Back!" yelled Beardsley, but the Snow Wraith bite his left arm which caused him to scream in pain, and then it began to drag Beardsley around. "Let go! Let go!" he yelled as he hit the Snow Wraith with his sickle and then it threw him to the snow.

His head came out so he can get out of the snow, but he hid back into the snow as the Snow Wraith was searching for him, which causes Beardsley to shiver in fear.

Flashback end:

And even after many years, Beardsley still remembers it and its roar.

"I'll never know why it didn't finish me off that day." Grave read. "I left knowing only one thing, that I never wanted to smooch that dragon again." he read, which causes Beardsley to cringe in disgust for thinking that. "Smooch it?" Then Beardsley hit him in the head once again.

"See! Never want to see that dragon again." Grave corrected. "Y'know you're hand writing ain't what it used to be, old man." he said, until Beardsley lifted his hand again. "But your hit, strong as ever." Grave used the journal to shield himself.

"Then the tooth from the Snow Wraith can unlock the dragon eye." said William. "You have to help." he said.

"Go to page 60." Beardsley said to Grave. Then Grave flipped a few until he's at page 60, and he read it in shock.

"I can't say that to him. He's the prince." said Grave.

"Whatever." Beardsley groaned. "There's no way I'm ever going back there." he said.

"Beardsley, we have to do it. We do it to answer questions, and this dragon eye can help us." said Alicia. After that, Beardsley groaned in defeat.

"You're lucky your royalty, I'm in." Beardsley said to Alicia.

The next day, the Warriors traveled back to Eostia with Beardsley and are heading so the snowy mountains in search for the Snow Wraith.

"I'm so excited. We get to see a new dragon." Luu Luu said in excitement.

"Yeah. The Book of Dragons mentions the Snow Wraith, and now we're gonna put that information in the book." said Maia.

And once they've landed on the mountains they got off their dragons and onto the snowy ground near the glacial water. That's when Beardsley looked around to see if the Snow Wraith is anywhere.

"It's quite. Too quite." said Beardsley. And that's when a snowstorm hit.

"Alright guys, split. Dragon calls if you see anything." said Connor, and they got on their dragons.

A few hours later the Warriors regrouped, and they didn't have any luck in their search for the Snow Wraith.

"Any luck?" asked Connor.

"Not even a pawprint." said Vault. Then a big snowstorm hits.

"A snowstorm. It's just like the one where it attacked me." said Beardsley in fear.

"That's why I already put up tents." Prim pointed at the tents behind her, but suddenly, something destroyed one tent which followed by a snarl.

"What's that?!" Claudia asked. And then it destroyed more tents one by one.

"Take cover!" Connor ordered, and the Warriors flee to escape. And then a blue fire blast blasted the snow which launched Vault and crashed into a mountain, and the impact caused both Connor and Shade to be covered in snow, not before the snow covered Vault as well.

And that's where Connor spotted the Snow Wraith, it's white, has big legs, broad wings, and it's like a dragon version of the abominable snowman. It roared loudly and then it begins to search for the Warriors, and sniffs around where Vault was close to the Snow Wraith which roared at him, but he didn't flinch.

"Shade! Warning shot!" said Connor, and Shade blasted at the mountain, then the other dragons began to fire at the Snow Wraith, but the dragon dodged those shots and begins to out maneuver them. "Shade! Sonar!" he said, then Shade released a sonar roar which got the Snow Wraith's attention.

"Now Multiple Blast!" Shade began to fire more shots, but the Snow Wraith avoided them and it escaped.

"We should've left while we had the chance." said Beardsley, and they heard its roar which frightened Beardsley.

Later after the snowstorm has been cleared, the dragons huddled together to keep their riders warm.

"Is everyone OK?" Connor asked the Warriors.

"Don't worry, we're alright." said Grave.

"Let's just get out of here Connor, we're just sitting ducks in this mountain." said Luu Luu, which causes Connor to realize something.

"Luu Luu, say that again." Connor said to Luu Luu.

"Sitting ducks?" she said.

"That's right. Beardsley, remember in you're journal that the Snow Wraith didn't kill you when you were buried in the snow." he said to Beardsley.

"That's right. Because it sees body temperature." said Beardsley as he found the answer. "All we need to do is confuse it." he said.

Later, the Warriors have built mannequins to lure the Snow Wraith into the trap.

"Alright. Next, is body heat." said Connor.

"Got it." Prim took out some heated blankets and wrapped around the mannequins, and the Warriors hid behind the snow.

They waited for the Snow Wraith to come, and that's where it appeared, it flew around the mannequins and knocked one down. And then it flew by again, which causes both Connor and Shade to attack, Connor took out his sword to try to strike it but the Snow Wraith avoided his attack.

"Missed." said Connor. "But at least it can't tell which one is the real me." he said.

"Shade, Sonar." he said, then Shade let out his sonar roar to find the Snow Wraith but nothing. But what they didn't know is that the Snow Wraith is sneaking behind them, and through his point of you he can see the mannequins barely having temperature, while Connor and Shade have temperature as it knows that the mannequins are fake. And just as it's about to attack the two.

"Connor! Shade! Look out!" Beardsley yelled as he ran towards the Snow Wraith. "Remember me." he said.

Then he began to swing his sickle at the Snow Wraith once again, and just as the Snow Wraith was about to bite Beardsley again, he uses his sickle to prevent that bite attack.

"Shade, be careful you don't hit Beardsley!" said Connor and Shade blasted the Snow Wraith's side, but it didn't injure. So it tossed Beardsley and is now facing the duo, but the Warriors appeared and their dragons blasted at the Snow Wraith but the blasts didn't injure it, and it also avoided the blasts and it flew to escape.

"I got it!" The Warriors turned and spotted Beardsley getting up. "I got the tooth!" Beardsley showed the Warriors the tooth that's been stuck on his sickle.

The Warriors went back to the catacombs with the Snow Wraith tooth so they can unlock the secrets of the dragon eye.

"We were almost frozen to death but it was worth it." said Maia, and then Connor inserted the tooth into the keyhole and turned it. But, it did nothing. "On second thought, not worth it." she said in disappointment. Then Connor tried to check it.

Connor's been now checking the dragon eye 'til it's night, and Connor started.

"Looks like I'll do it tomorrow." said Connor as he put the dragon eye on his table and gets into bed, while Shade fires up his stone slab Connor notices a faint glow and a flickering projection coming from the dragon eye. "Hold it, Shade." he said as he got out of bed and grabbed the dragon eye, he set it back onto the table to see the projection again. "Do the flame again." he said to Shade.

Then Shade opened up his mouth to release a small flame which projected a hologram of three dragons that formed a map, and symbol of a sword with dragon wings.

"Whoa." said Connor in amazement.

If the Warriors want to find out more about this dragon eye, they have to find new dragons, by traveling the world.
