Chapter 20: All Sol's day

Sol Lumiere, Luna's dorky Androgynous brittany spaniel hellhound friend often mistaken for a boy was leaving her group home while whistling, a timid girl she had been an abandoned pup on the street having been a hunting game survivor until Verosika's Blue-Loona foundation had found her a good quality group home, she met Loona when Loona and Blitz showed her the place.

Since then she was a loyal friend of Loona's seeing her as her savior, Loona still had no idea Sol was a girl, most didn't though she did know Sol was a clumsy timid coward in a lot of ways she was like Collin.

As she was walking she saw Koolin, about to say hello she saw him slink off into and Alleyway, finding that suspicious flipped her rain jacket hood over her head abd sneaked around seeing Koolin sneaking into a city works building, it held forms, maps and information about all of Imp City and she wondered why he was sneaking in.

Sol pulling out her antiquated flip phone to take pics and text Loona as this was clearly espionage at worst and vandalism at best.

Sol unaware that Cletus and Keene were sneaking up behind her.

Sol, with her rain slicker hood pulled over her head, skulked through the shadowy streets of Imp City. Her large round glasses reflected the faint glow of the streetlights as she tried to stay out of sight. She was a small, timid figure—especially compared to the towering buildings around her—but her curiosity was piqued, and she wasn't about to let this go.

She had seen Koolin sneaking into an alleyway, his usually friendly demeanor replaced with something darker, more secretive. Sol's heart pounded in her chest as she followed him at a distance, her mind racing with possibilities. Why was he sneaking around? What could he possibly be up to in the middle of the night?

As she rounded the corner, she spotted Koolin slipping into a city works building. The building was unremarkable from the outside, just another part of the city's infrastructure, but Sol knew it housed important documents—forms, maps, and detailed information about the layout of Imp City. The question was, why would Koolin need access to that kind of information?

Sol crouched behind a dumpster, her hand trembling slightly as she fished out her old flip phone from her pocket. She flipped it open with a soft click, quickly snapping a few grainy pictures of Koolin entering the building. She then fumbled with the keys, trying to text Loona.

"L," she typed, her fingers shaking as she hurried to compose the message. "Saw Koolin sneaking into city works building. Taking pics. Think he's up to something."

She pressed send, her heart racing as she peeked out from behind the dumpster again. She didn't want to jump to conclusions, but this definitely didn't look good. Koolin had always seemed like a nice guy, but what if he was hiding something dangerous? What if he was a threat to Loona and the others?

Sol's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of rustling behind her. She froze, her breath catching in her throat as she slowly turned her head.

Standing just a few feet away were Cletus and Keenie, their expressions cold and unreadable. The two cherubs were practically glowing in the dim light, their pristine white wings folded neatly behind them. Sol's blood ran cold. She had no idea who they were, but she could tell they weren't friendly.

"Well, well, well," Cletus drawled, his voice a sickly sweet mockery of politeness. "Looks like we've got ourselves a little spy."

Keenie smirked, floating closer to Sol with a predatory gleam in her eye. "What's a little mutt like you doing out here, hmm? Don't you know it's past your bedtime?"

Sol swallowed hard, her mind racing. She needed to get out of here, needed to warn Loona, but she was cornered. She could feel the panic rising in her chest, threatening to paralyze her.

"I-I was just… j-just…" Sol stammered, backing up against the dumpster, her eyes wide with fear.

Cletus laughed, the sound cruel and mocking. "Oh, don't worry. We're not gonna hurt you… much. We just need to make sure you're not gonna cause any trouble for our friend, Koolin."

Keenie leaned in, her voice dropping to a menacing whisper. "So why don't you hand over that phone, and we'll pretend this never happened, okay?"

Sol's hand tightened around her phone, her instincts screaming at her to run. But her legs felt like they were made of lead, her body refusing to obey.

Just as Keenie reached out to grab her, Sol's phone buzzed in her hand. Startled, she glanced down at the screen to see a message from Loona.

"On my way. Stay put."

Sol's heart leaped with a mixture of relief and fear. She just had to hold on a little longer.

But Cletus and Keenie weren't going to give her that chance.

"Too slow," Keenie hissed, lunging forward to snatch the phone from Sol's grip.

Sol yelped, jerking away just in time to avoid Keenie's grasp. She bolted to her feet, her fight-or-flight response finally kicking in. She turned and ran, her breath coming in ragged gasps as she sprinted down the alleyway.

"Get her!" Cletus shouted, taking off after her with Keenie close behind.

Sol's mind was a blur of terror and desperation as she darted through the narrow alleyways, trying to lose them in the maze-like streets. She could hear their wings beating the air, could feel their presence closing in on her, but she couldn't stop. She couldn't let them catch her.

She burst out of the alley and onto a main street, her eyes scanning frantically for any sign of Loona. But the street was deserted, the city eerily quiet at this late hour.

Just as she thought she was done for, a loud, feral growl echoed through the street. Sol skidded to a halt, her eyes widening as she spotted a familiar, imposing figure sprinting toward her.

"Back off!" Loona snarled, her claws out as she barreled toward Cletus and Keenie, her eyes blazing with fury.

The two cherubs froze, startled by the sudden appearance of the hellhound. They had clearly not anticipated dealing with someone as fierce as Loona.

"This is none of your business, hellhound," Cletus spat, trying to recover his composure. "We're just taking care of a little problem. Why don't you run along and mind your own business?"

Loona let out a low, menacing growl, her body coiled like a spring ready to pounce. "Anything that messes with my friends is my business. And if you think I'm gonna let you touch a hair on her head, you're dead wrong."

Sol, still trembling, scrambled to Loona's side, clutching her arm for support. She had never been so glad to see anyone in her life.

Keenie narrowed her eyes, clearly weighing her options. But before she could decide, a new voice cut through the tension.

"What's going on here?"

Koolin appeared from the shadows, his expression a mix of surprise and concern as he took in the scene. He glanced at Loona, then at the terrified Sol, and finally at the two cherubs, who looked distinctly uncomfortable now that he was there.

"Collin," Keenie said, forcing a smile. "We were just… handling a little situation. This mutt was spying on you, and we thought it best to deal with it."

Koolin's eyes darkened, his jaw clenching. He stepped forward, placing himself between Sol and the cherubs.

"That's enough," he said firmly. "She's just a kid. There's no need for this."

Cletus opened his mouth to protest, but Koolin cut him off, his voice cold. "I said, that's enough. Leave her alone, and go back to our quarters. Now."

The cherubs hesitated, clearly unhappy with the turn of events, but they knew better than to push Koolin when he was like this. With one last glare at Sol, they turned and flew off into the night.

As soon as they were gone, Koolin turned to Loona and Sol, his expression softening. "Are you two okay?"

Loona nodded, though her eyes were still narrowed suspiciously. "Yeah, we're fine. But what the hell was that about, Koolin? Who are those guys?"

Koolin hesitated, clearly conflicted. He knew he couldn't keep lying to them, but the truth was dangerous. Still, after what had just happened, he knew he owed them some kind of explanation.

"It's… complicated," he said finally, running a hand through his hair. "But I promise I'll explain everything. Just… not here. It's not safe."

Loona frowned, not entirely satisfied with that answer, but she could tell he was serious. She glanced at Sol, who was still clutching her phone like a lifeline.

"Fine," Loona said, her tone softer now. "But you better make it good, Koolin. I don't like being kept in the dark."

Koolin nodded, his expression grim. "I will. Just… trust me, okay?"

Loona sighed, her shoulders relaxing slightly. "Okay. But first, let's get Sol home. She's had a rough night."

Sol nodded quickly, relieved that the danger had passed. As the three of them walked down the street together, Sol couldn't help but glance up at Koolin, her mind still reeling from everything that had just happened.

Whoever Koolin really was, one thing was clear: he was in way over his head. And now, so were they.

Loona, Sol, and Koolin walked in silence through the dimly lit streets of Imp City. The adrenaline from their encounter with the cherubs was slowly wearing off, leaving them all feeling drained. Sol stayed close to Loona's side, her small hand still gripping Loona's arm as if afraid to let go. Koolin kept glancing at them, his face a mix of worry and determination.

As they approached Sol's group home, Koolin finally broke the silence.

"Look, I'm really sorry about tonight," he said, his voice low. "I didn't mean to drag you both into this. I just… I couldn't let them hurt her."

Loona shot him a sidelong glance, her eyes still wary. "You've got some explaining to do, Koolin. Those two—Cletus and Keenie—who are they, really? And what's this all about?"

Koolin sighed, running a hand through his hair. "They're… well, they're cherubs. I'm not sure how much you know about them, but they're kind of like angels, only a lot more… militant. They have this obsession with purity and righteousness, and they're not afraid to get their hands dirty to enforce it."

Sol's eyes widened as she listened, her grip on Loona's arm tightening. "B-but why were they after me? I didn't do anything wrong!"

Koolin shook his head quickly. "It's not your fault, Sol. They don't care about right or wrong—they care about control. And right now, they're worried about what I'm doing, so they're trying to make sure I don't have any 'distractions.'"

Loona's eyes narrowed. "Distractions? Like us?"

Koolin nodded reluctantly. "Yeah. They think that if I start caring too much about anyone here—anyone in Hell—then I'll go soft. They want to keep me focused on my mission, whatever it takes."

Loona frowned, her tail flicking in irritation. "And what mission is that, exactly? Why were you sneaking around in that city works building?"

Koolin hesitated, clearly struggling with how much to reveal. Finally, he sighed. "I'm supposed to be gathering information on Imp City. Maps, infrastructure details, anything that could be useful for… well, for an invasion."

Sol gasped, her eyes wide with fear. "An invasion? You mean, like, they want to take over the city?"

Koolin nodded grimly. "That's the plan. They think that if they can control key parts of Hell, they can purify it—make it more like Heaven. But they're wrong. Hell isn't like that, and the people here aren't just monsters. They're… they're people. They have lives, families, friends. They don't deserve to be wiped out just because they don't fit some perfect image."

Loona's expression softened slightly as she listened to him, but there was still a hardness in her eyes. "So why are you doing this? Why are you helping them if you know it's wrong?"

Koolin looked down at the ground, his shoulders slumping. "Because I didn't have a choice. I was sent here with a mission, and if I fail… well, let's just say the consequences won't be pretty. But now… now I'm starting to see things differently. I don't want to be a part of this anymore, but I don't know how to stop it."

Loona sighed, rubbing her temples. "This is a lot to take in, Koolin. But if you're serious about getting out of this, you're gonna need help. You can't do it alone."

Koolin nodded, a small spark of hope flickering in his eyes. "I know. And I appreciate it, really. But you should know that helping me could put you all in danger. Those cherubs… they won't just give up."

Loona's eyes flashed with determination. "We've faced worse, trust me. But we'll need to be smart about this. No more sneaking around. We need a plan."

Sol, who had been silent up until now, finally spoke up. "M-maybe we could tell Loona's dad? Blitz is really good at planning things, right? He could help us figure out what to do."

Loona considered it for a moment, then nodded. "Yeah, that might be a good idea. Blitz can be a pain, but he's not stupid. He'll know what to do."

Koolin looked relieved, though still apprehensive. "Okay. But we need to be careful. If those cherubs find out we're onto them, they'll come after us with everything they've got."

Loona grinned, her fangs glinting in the dim light. "Let them try. We're not going down without a fight."

Sol managed a small smile, feeling a bit more confident now that she knew they had a plan. She knew things were going to get dangerous, but she also knew she wasn't alone. She had Loona, Koolin, and maybe even Blitz on her side.

As they reached the door of Sol's group home, Loona crouched down to give her a reassuring hug. "Get some rest, Sol. We'll figure this out, I promise."

Sol nodded, hugging her back tightly. "Thanks, Loona. Be careful, okay?"

Loona smirked, giving her a gentle nudge. "Always."

With that, Sol headed inside, glancing back at Loona and Koolin one last time before closing the door. As she made her way to her room, she couldn't help but feel a strange mixture of fear and excitement. Things were about to get intense, but for the first time in a long time, she felt like she was part of something important—something that could really make a difference.

Outside, Loona and Koolin stood in the cool morning air, the weight of what they were facing settling heavily on their shoulders.

"So," Loona said, breaking the silence. "Ready to go home and face the music? I'm pretty sure my dad's gonna freak out when he hears about this."

Koolin chuckled, though it was a bit shaky. "Yeah, I guess so. But I'm ready if you are."

Loona nodded, her expression serious but determined. "Let's do this."

Together, they turned and headed back toward the I.M.P. office, the first light of dawn beginning to creep over the horizon. Whatever happened next, they knew they'd face it together.

Blitzo, perched comfortably on his worn-out office chair, leaned back with his feet propped up on the desk. His usual mischievous grin widened as Loona, Koolin, and Sol entered the room. Loona, looking mildly irritated but trying to keep her composure, nudged Koolin forward. Sol trailed closely behind, her usual shyness evident in the way she kept her head down.

"Well, well, well! What do we have here?" Blitzo teased, his crimson eyes gleaming with mischief. "Is that my little Loony bringing home a boyfriend? Gotta say, I didn't think you'd be into the shy type, kiddo!"

Loona rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, trying to maintain her tough demeanor. "He's not my boyfriend, Dad. And can you quit it with the teasing? We've got something serious to talk about."

Blitzo chuckled but quickly noticed the tension in the room. He sat up straighter, sensing that something was off. "Alright, spill it. What's going on?"

Koolin, who had been nervously fidgeting with his hands, took a deep breath before stepping forward. "Blitzo… there's something you need to know about me. My name's not really Koolin Radster. It's… it's Collin. And I'm actually a cherub."

Blitzo blinked, his grin fading as he processed the information. "Wait, you're a what? A cherub? Like those goody-two-shoes from Heaven?"

Collin nodded, his expression somber. "Yeah. I was sent here with two others—Cletus and Keene. We're advanced scouts, gathering information on the Pride Ring for… well, for Adam's Extermination Day."

The room fell silent as everyone absorbed the revelation. Loona, who had been glaring at Blitzo earlier, now looked at Collin with a mix of surprise and curiosity.

"So, you're here to help wipe out Hell?" Moxxie asked, his tone serious and a bit accusatory. Millie, standing beside him, crossed her arms, her eyes narrowing in suspicion.

Collin shook his head quickly, trying to dispel their fears. "No, no! I don't want any part of it anymore. That's why I'm telling you this. Cletus and Keenie… they're dangerous. They'll do whatever it takes to make sure the mission succeeds. And I'm afraid they'll try to take you all out if they see you as a threat."

Blitzo stood up from his chair, his usual playful demeanor replaced by a look of determination. "Well, if they think they can waltz into our home turf and start some bigger badder extermination party, they've got another thing coming. We're not gonna just sit here and let them get away with it."

Loona smirked, her earlier irritation now replaced with a playful glint in her eye. "Guess we're gonna have to kick some cherub ass then, huh? Come on, 'Lambchop,' let's show them what happens when they mess with us."

Collin blinked, a bit taken aback by the nickname, but before he could respond, the office door burst open. Verosika, Barbie, Moxxie, and Millie came rushing in, having overheard the conversation.

"Did someone say cherubs are causing trouble?" Verosika asked with a smirk, cracking her knuckles. "Sounds like it's time for a little celestial beatdown."

Barbie adjusted her gloves, looking eager to join the fray. "Count me in. I've got some pent-up aggression that needs releasing."

Before they could strategize further, the room suddenly filled with a low hum. The windows rattled, and a bright light flooded the office. Blitzo squinted, shielding his eyes, and his grin returned as he recognized the challenge.

"Well, looks like the party's starting early!"

The light dissipated, revealing Mr. Lionheart, a massive lion-like cherub with a mane of golden fur and a regal demeanor. His armor gleamed with divine light, and behind him floated several combat drones, their energy weapons aimed at the group. Beside him stood Cletus and Keenie, now clad in battle armor designed to mimic demonic forms, their expressions serious and deadly.

"You should have stayed out of this, infernals," Lionheart rumbled, his voice deep and commanding. "But now, you'll face the full wrath of Heaven's might."

Blitzo grinned wickedly, twirling his pistol as he stepped forward. "Oh, this is gonna be fun. Alright, team! Time to show these feathered freaks why you don't mess with I.M.P!"

The office erupted into chaos as the battle began. Millie and Moxxie moved in perfect sync, their combat experience shining through as they dodged blasts from the drones and retaliated with gunfire and blades. Verosika unleashed a wave of pink flames, disrupting the drones' formation, while Barbie used her agility to weave through the battlefield, delivering precise strikes with her dagger.

Loona charged at Keenie, her claws glowing with hellish energy as she slashed at her armor. Collin hesitated for only a moment before he joined the fray, using his celestial abilities and holy crossbow to counter the drones' attacks. He might have been a cherub, but he was fighting for his new friends now.

Blitzo, ever the showman, took on Lionheart directly. The lion cherub was powerful, his blows shaking the ground with each strike, but Blitzo's agility and unpredictability kept him on his toes.

"You've got some nerve showing your furry face here!" Blitzo taunted, dodging another powerful swipe. "Didn't anyone tell you Hell's off-limits?"

Lionheart snarled, swinging a massive energy blade. "Hell is an abomination that must be cleansed! And you, you're nothing but a cockroach scuttling in the filth!"

Blitzo laughed, flipping over the blade and firing a round into Lionheart's armor, causing it to crack. "Well, this cockroach has a few tricks up his sleeve!"

As the battle raged on, Loona and Collin found themselves back-to-back, fending off Keenie and Cletus. Despite the odds, there was a fierce determination in their eyes.

"Hey, Lambchop!" Loona called out, grinning. "You still good to fight?"

Collin nodded, panting slightly but still holding his ground. "Yeah. I'm with you all the way."

Loona's grin widened as she slashed at Keenie's armor, forcing her to retreat back a bit. "Good. 'Cause we're not letting these guys win."

The fight continued with I.M.P holding their ground, refusing to let the cherubs gain any advantage. They were outnumbered, but their determination and teamwork kept them in the fight.

"Millie!" Moxxie called out, pointing to one of the drones. "We need to take that thing down before it powers up again!"

Millie nodded, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "On it, babe!"

With a fierce battle cry, she leaped into the air, her ax glinting as she brought it down on the drone, severing its power core and causing it to explode.

Meanwhile, Verosika and Barbie tag-teamed against Cletus, their combined attacks overwhelming his defenses. "You picked the wrong fight," Verosika sneered, her voice dripping with venom.

Barbie nodded in agreement, her dagger flashing as she struck a weak point in Cletus's armor. "And now you're gonna pay for it." The armor shredded to pieces as Barbie got Cletus by the neck repeatedly punching him in the face, she then kicked him in his holy jewels so hard he was sending flying.

Verosika shooting a large stream of pink fire from her mouth like a dragon barbecuing the cherub.

Back with Loona and Collin, the two were working together seamlessly, their attacks synchronized as they drove Keenie back.

"How's it feel to get your ass kicked by a couple of infernals?" Loona taunted, her eyes blazing with confidence.

Keenie growled in frustration, her armor cracking under their relentless assault. "You're all just filth! You'll never be anything more!"

Collin, however, wasn't fazed by the insult. "Maybe they're not perfect, but they're not trash either. And I'm not gonna let you destroy their home."

With a final, powerful strike, Loona and Collin shattered Keenie's armor, sending her crashing to the ground. The cherub groaned in pain, her defeat evident.

Keenie struggled to stand but gritted her teeth the claws on her suit shooting out like daggers surprising Loona and Collin, but suddenly a trash can lid blocked the flechette like shots, Sol having decided to come and help too, sure she was a clumsy coward but Loona was her buddy! "Bow wow you sanctimonious wool coveted prude!" Sol adjusting her glasses once more had picked up one of the angel cross bows and fired at Keenie right in the chest.

The rest of the I.M.P team had similar success, with Blitzo finally getting the upper hand on Lionheart. With a flourish, Blitzo delivered a well-placed shot to the cherub's chest, causing his armor to crack and his weapon to fall.

Lionheart stumbled, his eyes wide with disbelief. "This… this can't be… How could you—?"

Blitzo smirked, his eyes gleaming with triumph. "You messed with the wrong team, furball."

As the dust settled and the cherubs lay defeated, the I.M.P team regrouped, catching their breath after the intense battle. Blitzo, ever the showman, couldn't resist throwing out one last taunt.

Blitzo swaggered over to Lionheart, who was struggling to get back on his feet. The lion-like cherub's regal demeanor had crumbled, and his eyes were filled with a mix of anger and disbelief. Blitzo tilted his head, grinning as he holstered his weapon.

"Looks like you cherubs aren't so high and mighty after all? Maybe next time, you'll think twice before messing with Hell's finest." Blitzo said with a cocky smirk.

Lionheart's pride was wounded, but he managed to let out a growl. "This isn't over, demon. You may have won this battle, but the war between Heaven and Hell is far from finished."

Blitzo leaned in, his face inches from Lionheart's. "Yeah, yeah, whatever helps you sleep at night, kitty cat. Now, get the hell out of here before I decide to mount your head on my wall."

Lionheart, realizing he had no choice, gave a signal to the remaining drones, which promptly activated a teleportation sequence. The cherubs, battered and defeated, were quickly whisked away in a flash of light.

As the room fell silent, the members of I.M.P looked around at the mess they had made. The office was practically destroyed, with shattered furniture, scorch marks, and broken glass littering the floor. Moxxie let out a sigh, rubbing his temples.

"Well, there goes our security deposit," he muttered, earning a chuckle from Millie, who was still riding the adrenaline high of the fight.

Verosika adjusted her outfit, brushing off some dust. "Not a bad way to start the day, I guess. But next time, can we do this somewhere that isn't going to turn our HQ into a trashed dump of an office?"

Blitzo turned to face her, placing a hand dramatically over his heart. "You wound me, Verosika! This 'dump' is our home! And we just saved Hell from a bunch of heavenly narcs, so maybe a little gratitude is in order?"

Verosika rubbing her temples at Bliz's overly upbeat attitude. "Honey i love you but this is serious everything is broke, I am gonna have to pay majorly out of pocket to fix this!"

Loona, who had been standing off to the side with Collin and Sol, rolled her eyes but couldn't help a small smile. "You really don't know when to quit, do you, mom and Dad?"

Blitzo grinned back at her. "Never. It's part of my charm."

Verosika smirked widely at Loona's words. "Yeah it's a charm point, but still it's a pain in my perfectly toned pink ass, but whatever I guess all that matters is that the kids are safe."

Collin, still catching his breath, looked around at the team that had just fought so fiercely to protect their home. Despite the chaos, he felt a strange sense of belonging—something he hadn't experienced in Heaven.

"I… I just wanted to say thanks," Collin began, his voice timid. "I know I kind of brought this mess to your doorstep, but you all didn't have to help me. So, uh, yeah… thanks."

Loona gave him a light punch on the shoulder, a rare gesture of affection from her. "Don't sweat it, Lambchop. You're one of us now. Just… try not to bring any more crazy cherubs around, okay?"

Collin nodded, smiling sheepishly. "Yeah, I'll do my best."

Sol, who had been quiet throughout the ordeal, finally spoke up, her voice soft but sincere. "You were really brave, Collin. I… I'm glad you're on our side."

Collin blushed slightly, not used to such praise. "Thanks, Sol. I'm glad you're on our side too."

Blitzo clapped his hands together, drawing everyone's attention. "Alright, team! We kicked some serious angelic ass today, but we've got a ton of work ahead. First up, fixing this place. Second, figuring out how to deal with the big extermination day these cherubs were talking about, since they were looking at city infrastructure its likely bigger than any before."

Moxxie frowned, thinking about the implications. "If Adam's planning something massive, we need to be prepared. This could be bigger than anything we've faced before, I'm gonna call Bellina so she can give Zestial The heads up."

Millie nodded in agreement, her face serious. "We'll be ready, Moxxie. Whatever it takes."

Blitzo's grin widened, his eyes gleaming with determination. "Damn right, we will be. Because nobody messes with I.M.P and gets away with it. Not even Heaven."

Verosika sighing, arms crossed while looking at the mess. "Ok so I duly deputies Sol to lead the clean up!"

"wait what? I don't even work here!" The sherbert colored hound whining rather startled by Verosika.

"Tough titty-wompas I've heard from the group home you can make a floor shine and are weirdly good with your hands so get cleaning bookworm!" Verosika pulled out a sticker, licked it and put it on Sol's rain slicker. "As of now you're an honorary I.M.P V.I.P associate with our janitorial division."

Sol gasped as she looked at the stocker with pride, her eyes lighting up as she saluted. "Yes ma'am, oh and can I get an autograph later? I could hawk it for milk money!"

Verosika playfully chuckling as they started cleaning.

As the group began cleaning up and making plans, the camaraderie among them was palpable. Despite their differences and the chaos of their lives, they were a team—a family, in their own twisted way. And no matter what came next, they knew they could face it together.

Loona, standing beside Collin, gave him a sidelong glance. "So… what are you gonna do now, Lambchop? Stick around Hell?"

Collin looked around at the group, then back at Loona, a small smile forming on his lips. "Yeah. I think I will. Feels like this is where I'm meant to be."

Loona smirked, her tone playful. "Good. Just don't expect me to go easy on you. You're still the new kid around here."

Collin chuckled, feeling more at ease than he had in a long time. "I wouldn't expect anything less."

As they continued to clean up, there was a sense of resolve in the air. The fight with the cherubs had been just the beginning, and they all knew that bigger battles were on the horizon. But with Blitzo leading the charge and the team standing strong together, there was nothing Hell—or Heaven—could throw at them that they couldn't handle.

And so, as the dust settled and plans were made, I.M.P prepared for whatever came next, ready to face the future as a united front.

To be continued……
