'Hmm, s standing meeting or introduction it is then' Tarvek noted as he, flanked by Janet and Mayuko, and clad in his light armour and tabard, glanced at the stone circle he was standing at the edge of. There was some nice artwork, of various native animals, upon its surface, along with what might be symbols of peace. That it was a pleasant enough day, with bright skies and reasonable temperatures, was a useful thing as he stood with a blade on his sword belt, and his power armour stored within his Compass Inventory. Ready to be summoned forth, encompassing him, should the need arise, but allowing peaceful talks without the whole…being in power armour issue that would bring.

There were four pillars of, with a roof of slate upon it, that would provide shelter, and what could be described as 'benches' as two stone and wood spars bisected the pillars near their bottoms on either side. So, standing, then sitting maybe?

He sensed, then saw, the arrival of the parties involved. Watching other warily, at least the half-doszen heavily armed and armoured guards were as the shorter Mage-Lord Proudmoore spoke with the one Tarvek assumed was Thrall, Horde leader. The advisor of the Mage-Lord, herself clearly a powerful mage, lingered back a step, with the guards, mirrored by a younger green orc and his guards. There was definitely a shaman or mage, likely more than one, amongst them, and while the humans were relatively uniform the orcs had the diverse 'savage' look that humans of Skartaris oft still favoured, and his own kin once had. At least for what were, or should be, elite guards it was a poor showing in his opinion. Too much exposed, unmagicked, flesh for his liking at a glance.

The warchief was young enough too, well-muscled, and clad in similar 'bits-and-pieces' armour as he towered over the human female Mage-Lord, who was clad in a white-blue robe and holding a staff. While she was talking, and watching the warchief, and the grounds, the one called Thrall was judging Tarvek silently as best the League Pathfinder could tell. That was something he'd expected, just as the other orc was talking in both 'May' and 'Jan' standing behind, and either side, of 'Tav' as they'd named themselves here. But, for now, Tarvek stood impassively, allowing introductions to be given, and hoping that Mayuko could stay silent as he'd so instructed her.

"Warchief Thrall, this is Sir Tav, and his companions, Jan, and May" Lady Proudmoore introduced with a smile, gesturing at each of them in turn, before reversing "Sir Tav, ladies, the honourable and strong leader of the Horde, Thrall"

The warchief did a visible look-up-look-down of Tarvek, frowning "Greetings"

"Greetings indeed Warchief" Tarvek replied, giving the polite fractional bow he'd given Lady Proudmore and others, one hand at his stomach, the other on his sword belt "Honour to your clan"

"Hnn…no, you…don't seem of the Horde" the other, green skinned, orc said after a moment, a rumbling voice, more familiar to Skartarian or Mountain orcs than to those of Orismer descent "Nor do I claim to know all of lost Draenor, or of the Outland"

"One is not of those lands, even our languages are radically different" Tarvek stated politely, but firmly as they stood there, facing each other "We understand each other by means of techno-sorcery, for we do not speak your tongue, nor you ours. That, if pressed, should be understandable by your shamans"

"It is a strong enchantment, and very subtle" Mage-Lord Proudmore said, in support of Tarvek's statement, or to perhaps offer her own skills "It is difficult to notice unless you truly look"

Thrall gave a firm nod, folding his arms across his chest "That I shall trust on Ja…Lady Proudmoore's word. If then you are not of our kin, and you show such with your stance, your red-hue, and claimed….Light…using abilities. Then, why are you here om Azeroth? Did the Lich King seek you out?"

"We are travellers, explorers if you will, with myself as a Pathfinder of my people. In that one finds paths through the larger multiverse, seeking trade. May travels under my protection having rescued her from a hunting ground. Jan, as her people's dimension is currently barred from accessing"

The other orc nodded "They are human. You are an orc"

"We're his" May offered forth, falling silent after Tarvek gave her a look "Boss"

"Ignore, but, aye, they are. My people are one world amongst several, and our worlds are allied under one banner, with humans and orcs, along with another species of….insectoids as you would see them, though there are others too" Tarvek said with a shrug "Such is not uncommon, not in the face of the dangers that lurk beyond in the multiverse. I am a shaman of my clan, and serve within the larger armed forces of the allied worlds as a Pathfinder, and even my own clan's world is a world of humans and orcs. We war, and ally, upon each other as is common"

Then shrugged again "My grandmother was a human warrior who engaged my grandfather in an honour duel, then began his head wife as the strongest, having defeated all other challengers"

Mage-Lord Proudmoore had…a curious display of emotions flash on her face, before settling on confusion, while the Warchief Thrall frowned after blinking in confusion "Hmm, yet….you do not state your allegiances firmly"

"That is for the very valid reason that the wider planes are full of dangers, monsters, and enemies, that discourages giving away Names and Locations upon immediate contact. A matter bound by Arcane Oaths, as, well, your people did invade this world. Something that might lead to understanding of why ones Lords would have such concerns. Especially when we hath already been attacked by dragons, and these servants of this undead lich king"

"Perhaps, but is not very bold, almost…cowardly"

"The wider planes are filled with monsters Warchief Thrall. Worlds devoured by dark elder gods, and knowledge torn from unwilling minds. Caution is not cowardice, otherwise blades would have to be drawn at insults given" Tarvek stated, again politely, but firmly and with a harsh look. No-one called him a coward to his face after all. The other orc was either testing or looking for a fight, and testing Tarvek seemed likely as the green orc gave a curt nod.

"No such insult was offered, nor intended" he said, not smoothly, but…not entirely harshly either, studying Tarvek clearly for weaknesses or untruths "You can to the Alliance first"

"Their arcane traditions are ahead of yours, and, to be truthful, I am far more skilled than Jan and May in…fitting in…with cultures different to ones own" he replied after a moment, Janet nodding in agreement despite looking unhappy. Then paused, made an apologetic motion with his free hand "That, and one such as I am a shaman, a cleric of my Patron Deity, Racial Deity of Orcs and Humans….and your folk have consorted with demons of some sort. While that is not a great problem, for we have those of demon-blood within our folk, the initial signs made willingness to approach your Horde less desirable"

"We have turned from that path!" and that was almost heated from the warchief "Good orcs gave their lives to…"

"That, well, that one does not deny, but we did not have the cultural contexts and historical knowledge to see such" Tarvek came back with smoothly, or attempted to be so "So, decisions are made based on that limited knowledge at such times"

It was appeasing him, with a glance of agreement from the human female, and the orc nodded after a moment, emitting a sigh "Truth, yes, that would be so. Yet here you are, and the Lich King moves, the dragons too it would seem. Your arrival is very much destabilising"

"If not for those things, we would have passed through without trouble" though Tarvek knew that wasn't exactly a good thing to point out, it was true, and addressed this concern "The nature of your Horde, and your Alliance, are not uncommon upon planes, and you have mutual foes, and…clearly can meet upon neutral terms. With this we are willing to reveal to thee, what we reveal to Lady Proudmoore and her other mage allies, and have equal trade for equal knowledge"

He paused, hands out in a 'what can you do' gesture from home "Our goal is simple; to map a nexus route from this plane, one we shall reveal to both your Horde and your Alliance. And aid, in whatever minor way one can, against this Scourge, and the dragons, for the undead, and certain dragons, have attacked myself and my two companions"

"Such sharing is non-negotiable" the orc, Thrall, said to the human, Proudmoore, before again looking at Tarvek "You claim to serve a God of…our people"

"Of Orcs, of which there are several, though my Lord is also of Humans, with the domain of half-orcs an official one of sorts, as is oft the case with divine portfolios with such overlaps" Tarvek said with a half-bow "For I serve our people's Shrouded Lord, Patron God of War, Knowledge, Laws, and Pragmaticism amongst His primary Aspects, though it can vary from plane to plane which is dominant, as there are other Aspects from Order to others"

That brought silence, the Mage-Lord frowning "That you had not spoken of. War?"

"You hath not asked in detail, and best reveal before both sides of my Lords claimed folk, though He accepts worshippers and clerics of other species when attuned to His portfolios" he answered her as she furrowed her brow, frowning after a moment.

"War and Knowledge? And…others?"

"One can be a soldier and a scholar, and my Lord frowns upon brute savagery where better methods are available" Tarvek gave a faint smile "That and not all war requires battles of steel and blood, for there can be ones of coin and knowledge, but, well, my faith is oft popular amongst war priests and battle mages, as amongst certain types of merchants. I assume you wish to discuss more…"
