A/N: Hi!! Here is chapter two. Unfortunately it is still very short. I don't like switching POV in the middle of chapters, hence the size. Anyway, enough of that, thank you so so much for the fav and follow!!!! Onto chapter two! One last thing, then I promise, onto the chapter. I know I said either Bruce or Loki's POV, but I settled on Thor's. As always, constructive criticism appreciated!! Feel tree to correct any grammar/spelling errors.

Disclaimer: Really? Nope, not mine!!

Chapter two: Well, he's been dead before

The first thing Thor did when he woke up was vomit. For a good half hour. Breathing heavily, he leaned against the wall. His head was throbbing, pounding deep within in his skull. The mighty Thor, reduced to this pathetic, drunken blob.

"Look at you, the Mighty Thor! With all your strength, what good does it do you now?!" No. Don't think about that. Don't think about Loki. There was only one way to drown out the memories.

"I could have done it father! For you!! For all of us!!"

"No Loki." Thor saw what Loki planned to do too late.

"Loki NOOOOOOOO!!!" His brother let go. There was an empty bottle in his hand. Thor reached for another.

"Another!!" Thor smashed the glass to the ground, searching the sea of heads for his brother. Most of Asgard was already drunk, staggering around like blind savakidans. Not Loki. Loki was sitting in the corner, reading. He was always reading.

"Loki!! Why won't you join the fun? Have a couple drinks! Have you drank any mead at all?" Loki's head snapped up from the book, glaring in his direction. His piercing green eyes bore into him. Graceful as a jaguar, Loki got up stalking towards him.

"You aren't nearly drunk enough for me to drag you to your quarters, what do you want Thor?"

"Why don't you join in the fun instead of reading. What could possibly be appealing about a book? They're so bland and boring unlike parties and battles." Loki's face briefly fell into some negative emotion Thor couldn't name before shifting into indifference.

"Appealing? What is appealing about drinking? You start to lose your head, staggering along like a bunch of hallucinating bilgesnipes. Speaking nonsense and doing things you'll regret in the morning. So intoxicated that you can hardly find your way back to your room, instead having to be dragged by whoever happens to still be competent. And I haven't even gotten to the next day. Vomiting everywhere, throbbing headaches, fatigue and short tempers. Not to mention finding out what you did the night before. Tell me, Thor, what in the Nine sounds appealing about that? Besides, if I'm drunk, who is going to draw the alcohol out of you in the morning?"

Even if Thor could formulate an answer, he didn't get the chance to because Loki disappeared in a flash of green. There were four empty bottles at his feet, another three quarters full in his hand. There was a dull sound coming from the door. It repeated over and over again in a beat. Oh! Someone was knocking. After five minutes of stumbling over bottles, running into counters, circling down the same hallway several times and grabbing another beer or two, (three?) beers from the fridge, Thor finally managed to open the door.

Standing outside were Hulk- Bruce? He wasn't sure which one it was. He was much to mellow to be Hulk and yet Bruce wasn't supposed to be green. Right? The familiar fog had settled over his mind, muddling his thoughts. Good. If his thoughts were mushed, he couldn't think. Thinking only meant pain. Next to Hulk was Rabbit and the blue lady. Nova? No, that wasn't right. She was the only one not staring at him in disbelief. Why were they staring like that? Rabbit broke the silence quite bluntly.

"You look like melted ice cream." Self-consciously, Thor looked down. Did he? Huh. H

"long time, nose zee. Whazare- what tare zoo dyoing ere? Ein News Sasard. Asgare. Asgard." His tongue was heavy and sluggish, working as slow as his mind. "You never were known for your Silver-tongue, now were you? No, that was always my forte, was it not?" Thor downed one of the beers in his hand. Go away.

"Thor, buddy are you alright?" That was Bruce-Hulk speaking.

"Yeah- yeah, why douzoo, why do youz zask-ask?"

"I said it once, I'll say it again. Ya look like melted ice cream."

"Thor, we need your help. We may have found a way to reverse it. The snap, Thanos, everything."

"Loki, you were tortured, your brother deserves to know."

"He can't find out, Bruce. Do you know what he would do if he did? He would hatch some hair brained plan to hunt down the titan. Only he would lose. No, this is the best way to protect him."

"That's not all you're afraid of, is it?"

"It has been centuries since I've had my brother. He does not need the extra stress. Besides, it was seven years ago."

"That's nothing to you guys. That's nothing to us! Not that kind of trauma." Thor stayed where he was hidden in the broom closet, next to their 'therapy room'. Loki was tortured?! Things that didn't make sense suddenly clicked into place.

Hunt down the titan. Loki knew him too well. It had been a week since he had overhead Bruce and his brother discussing that particular subject. A week of mulling over whether or not to confront his brother. What could he possibly say? It didn't matter. The titan was here and Thor wasn't letting him near his little brother.

"You really are the worst brother." What was wrong with him?! Of all the things he could have said, he chose that.

"You will never be a god." Snap. Loki was dead again. Only this time, Thor didn't think he was coming back.

"Don't say that name." His voice was clear and hard.

"Thor, please remove your hand from my shoulder." His hand didn't budge. Not until Bruce shoved it off.

"Thor, we need your help."

"Then youzave the wrong perzon. Izam nothing. I was nose elps when my bruzer was repeatedly mockedzand bullied, sif anything, Ize madeszit wurse. I was no help when my bruthzer haddda menzal breakdown and attempated suisize. I zas none helppy when my moozer was killed. I was no help whensme father died dead. I was no help whenz Hela came. I was no help when thethethe titan asacked my people, when he slaughered them. I was no help whenzhe snappeded, killsing half the uniuniverze. I zas zercainly no help when my brother was tortured. I am no help, whawhatsoszever. I ruin everything I touch!" He was shouting hysterically now.

"What do you want from me?! Thor, WHAT IN THE NINE DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?! WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO SAY?!!"

"Oh, I don't know. A little truth would be nice."

"Truth never has been my forte."

"You've changed a lot Loki, I'm sure you can-"

"You are such a HYPOCRITE! I'VE CHANGED A LOT, HAVE I?! Because I Could Have Swore, Not Four Days AGO, YOU SAID I HAVEN'T CHANGED AT ALL!! YOU ARE SO INCONSISTENT!!"

"I'M INCONSISTENT?!? BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY YOU ARE SO STEADY!!"

"Thor, don't do this to yourself. Loki wouldn't want that."

"It doesn't treally matter, nows does itz? No, not since thatthatthat monster-" His voice died, unable to voice what plagued his mind. Loki was dead. The mad titan snapped his little brother's neck.

"Loki is going to kill me." Bruce muttered. Going to? How would Loki-

"Thor what do you know about Svartalfheim?"

"I thought you didn't know about your brother's torture?" Nova- No, Nebula. Yes, that was her name. Nebula voiced at the same time as Bruce's question.

"Wait, the dead brother right? The one that's been dead before?"

"How do you know about Loki?" Both Thor and Bruce asked simultaneously.

"I was raised by Thanos. We had many of his children come and go. Loki was the strongest. Time moved differently in the Sanctuary because it was between worlds. Only a year outside the Sanctuary was roughly four years in the Sanctuary. Not only did your brother resist, he backfired every spell Ebony Maw cast on him. Thanos got frustrated and used the Mind stone on him. We all thought he broke. No. Loki couldn't overpower an Infinity stone, not even he was that strong. It was still impressive when he planned his defeat that perfectly. He hid for the next six years before Thanos found him." Silence followed Nebula's statement. "Weeks ago?! I just got here." They had only been about a minute apart, yet it had been weeks.

"We're going to Svartalfheim."

"You fool, you didn't listen."

"I know. I know. I'm a fool. I'm a fool. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

"How do you know about Svartalfheim?" Instead of answering his question, Bruce turned to Rabbit.

"Remember when I stole your pod and came back like this?" Bruce gestured at his body.

"I was visiting a friend. One that I think we may need for the mission. Thor, can you call the Bifrost?" No. In order to call the Bifrost with StormBreaker, one had to picture a destination. All he could see was Loki and it was impossible to use the Bifrost to get to Valhalla. Still, it didn't hurt to try. Thor nodded, calling the axe.

"You'll need to hold on to me." This wouldn't work. All he could see was Loki. Which was why he was caught off guard when the familiar blue and white light enveloped them, crashing them into someone's house on the bleak Svartalfheim. He could have swore he heard Loki's voice curse in several languages before promptly passing out.

A/N: Hopefully I didn't overdo the drunken slurring. I have never drank nor do I live with alcoholics so it's probably not realistic at all. If any of it is completely undecipherable, I'll post it in the A/N in chapter three. So, yeah... Anyway, thanks for reading!!!! Also, don't ask me what a

savakidan is because I think I made it up. Are there even any words that can be made up anymore?
