Shining, the sun shimmers shining down upon the people of Loguetown as the crowd forms around the plaza. The brisk breeze brushes through the young girl's perky pink hair however while the other friendly faces watch on in awe in shock in relief that this was finally happening, the girl looked on anguished, in pain, in sorrow. The tears freely fell from the crying child, gritting grinning her teeth together trying to be strong as she holds a camellia in her hair, wearing brown boots, a peach pink shirt and brown leggings. The girl tries to be strong as she stands by the red head's boy side straw hat on as the two hear the chorused sound of footsteps alongside the crisp clink of chains. Grinning, the man in red chained to the wooden block walks by soldiers either side of him as he makes his way towards the tall, towering steps of the execution platform.

Briefly, brown meet black as the man with the busy beard grins giddily at the pained girl, giving her a small smile before going on ahead. The girl soon forces her trembling lip to form into smile of her own as the man makes his way on stage smiling despite being at death's door.

"All right let's get this over with quickly." Smiling, the man at death's door sits still smiling despite the blades teasingly touching his neck.

"Hey king of pirates! Where did you hide all the treasure you found?! That great treasure! The one piece!" Desperately, a voice calls out to the man now at death's door however said merry man simply smiles laughing reeling back as he looks up at the soaring sky smiling before returning his focus to the crowd.

"My treasure? If you want it, you can have it! Find it! I left everything this world has to offer there!" Smiling, he tells the people before being cut down as the pirate king, Gold D Roger had finally been cut down as next the girl knew, she had felt a hand on her shoulder as the girl kept smiling despite the tears freely falling from the crying child…

The nose bubble pops as an older woman's warm brown jolt up from her desk lurching forward briefly brow furrowed as she holds her head, why was she thinking about that…? Why now? Lost, the woman with long hair of pink ponders to herself, brow furrowed as she sits in her office, her eyes narrowing noting the tears streaming down. She swiftly swipes said streams away, she didn't need that memory, she didn't need any of it.

"Ann! You ne-" Animatedly, the boisterous blonde rushes in as Ann gawks gapes at the blonde about to open her mouth trying to stop said clutz but it's too late, the clumsy blonde slips on the air as he falls flat on his face into it.

"Rose, you okay?!" Worriedly, Ann rushes over to said blonde's side simply smiling up much to the relief of the pink haired blonde.

"I told you not to go in." Tiredly, the crisp click of heels as a woman peers into the room, a relatively slim woman with long fuchsia hair tied in a ponytail, grey eyes, and a rather unique hairstyle similar to a mohawk known as a Chelsea hawk.

"So, what do you want?" Ann asks eyeing the two.

"The fleet admiral wants to see you." Bell-mère huffs, smoke spewing out of her lips.

"…Why?" Ann's eyes narrow noting the cigarette between her fingertips.

"I don't know, ask him." Aloofly, she shrugs.

"As informative as always Bell." Dryly, Ann huffs hands on hips.

"Maybe it's another promotion?" Perkily, Rosinante offers optimistically.

"Maybe it's another get the old man to do as I say lecture." Annoyed, Ann scowls, furrowing her brow by the thought too tired for another one of those lectures, she didn't know why she had to suffer for his stubbornness…

"You don't know unless you go." Bell-mère hints however making her scowl.

"I get the message Bell-mère urgh I'm going I'm going!" Agitated, Ann raises her hands up in the air done with the woman with Rosinante clumsily catching up to her about to trip on the doorstep if not for a lone vine quickly catching him as they then head on their way.

"Oi Garp we're not done here!" Angrily, the voice roars as Ann enters the hallway furrowing her brow by the commotion.

"You might not be done but I am." Arrogantly, Garp leaves the office smirking.

"Garp get back here!" The man orders but is met by the stern slide of the door.

"Garp-san did you turn down your promotion again? That's so cool of you!" Amazed, a tall, towering man in a black marine coat compliments the older man making Ann sneer at the old man's tag alone almost like his number one fans as Ann scowls at both men.

"I can already do as I like so I don't need a higher rank! Hm?" Garp smirks only then to turn, his eyes narrow at the pink haired blonde frowning at him.

"Something wrong Garp-san? Hm? Oh Ann-chan how about you join us for a drink?" Dubiously, Kuzan smirks slightly at Ann.

"…" Silently, said woman simply stares at Garp, not even batting an eye to the taller man as she heads inside, Rosinante shyly following behind smiling shyly at the two as they head in oblivious to the stern scowl of Kuzan at his rejection.

"Haha she's just like her mother!" Merrily, Garp chuckles despite the stern scowl sent his way by the done looking Ann as she goes inside…

Tiredly, Ann slowly slides the office door shut exhaustion etched into her fatigued facial features looking done just as much as the slumped state of Rosinante as she holds her head, swearing her head was aching swearing she was hearing ringing in her ears. She shakes her head at the thought tiredly trying to deal with the headache to come from the rant.

"I thought he was never going to end…" Rosinante groans slumping said shoulders sighing.

"You didn't have to come." Irritated, Ann furrows her brow at her friend fatigued.

"I was curious." Rosinante simply shrugs.

"Yeah, well look what happened curiosity really did kill the cat." Coyly, Ann remarks smirking slightly before turning on her heel heading off or attempting to until…

"Urgh…Hey, what are you…? The befuddled blonde queries to Ann.

"I'm going to yell at my ass of grandfather!" Grumpily, Ann answers annoyed as she heads off, leaving Rosinante to return to his duties.

"Gya yayay!" Familiar laughter echoes throughout the hallway as Ann walks through the hallway brow furrowed, her eye twitching tiredly from the voice alone as she takes note of the group just outside the entrance of the lunch hall of squealing marine girls gushing around the tall, towering figure of Kuzan. Urgh what was with lady luck just wanting to screw her over today? She already had a headache from the admiral, those girls' squeals weren't helping her one bit…

"I see a knockout babe with super boobs! You free tonight?" The tall, towering man asks the girl who squeals making Ann flinch from it, holding her head, a part of her baffled by him saying something so blunt but most of all…

"Yes, I'm free!" The marine girl swoons stunning Ann.

"That worked!?" Astonished, Ann gawks baffled by the sheer bluntness working with people only the to stop staring stunned when noting Kuzan noticing her making her flinch from his smug smirk sent her way which she happily returns with a middle finger before entering said hall.

"…Garp." Growling, Ann rolls up her sleeve scowling at the fool before her happily munching on the meat on bone.

"Ann come on over, take a seat!" Smiling, he pats the empty seat by his side however…

"Would you do me a favour?" Friendly, she smiles sickly sweetly at him, draping her arm over the older male.

"What's that?" Munching, he looks up at her, specks of food hitting her face making her eye twitch tense, internally screaming shaking repulsed by it…

"Stop bringing me into your shit!" Snarling, she suddenly brings the older, taller, wider man into a chokehold shocking many. She glares glowers down at the old man murderously seething snarling at the old man.

"Hahaha finally ready to take the old man on?" Amused, Garp easily removes Ann's arm from him as she smoothly dodges said hit, she expected, seeing the battered beaten table collapsing in on itself as Garp grins at the glaring glowering Ann.

"I'm finally wanting you to get it through your thick skull that I ain't here to deal with your shit!" Shouting, she screeches at him throwing him out of the room startling everyone as he breaks through the wall acting unfazed as he is stopped by another layer of wall from outside. The scared screams of the girls erupt echo as a sheet of ice quickly protects the group as the group gawk gape at the figure found in the cracked crater of the wall.

"Garp-san?" Surprised, Kuzan stares shocked at the smirking man grinning from ear to ear, a glint gleaming in his hungry eyes as Kuzan perks up at the crisp click of heels.

"You never listen, not once have you ever even considered another person's point of view! Do you have any idea how frustrating it is listening to the fleet admiral order me to try to get your ass in gear and quit running from your responsibilities!?" Scowling, Ann struts into the battlefield, cracking her coal black gloves hearing the crisp crack of knuckles making the girls around Kuzan squirm scared.

"It really was her…swordswoman Ann!"

"She's so scary!"

"She isn't human!"

"A demon that's what she is!"

"I told you I have all I need in my position you should take it." Garp dismisses the glaring girl.

"Eh?" Said girl quirks her head to the side.

"You're good with paperwork and all that crap." Lazily, Garp waves her off.

"You mean doing the shit you can't be assed to do!" Angrily, she yells at him waving her arm at him.

"Exactly." Garp stands smiling at the fuming woman.

"I have my own life old man!" Mad, she snarls lunging at him, her hand reeled back but…

"As do I. I'm not going to be here forever you should take the role!" Garp snatches said hand throwing her back but…

"And have more work to do? No thanks you do it!" Smoothly, she catches herself, heels dug deep into the dirt of the training grounds grinning, a glint gleaming in her eyes, a similar glint to her grandfather, Kuzan couldn't help but notice said striking similarities between both Monkeys.

"No, you!" Garp roars.

"No, you!" Ann barks back, the two looking serious now looking like children, feuding as those watching in awe couldn't help but sweat drop when seeing them rush at one another, the two of them pinching each other's cheeks and tugging, trying to shout over one another when…

"Why the hell should I listen to you, old man? You ain't my father!" Fuming, Ann snarls scowling cradling her ruby red cheek.

"I might as well be I've told you once I'll tell you again call me grandad!" Garp scowls at her.

"Gramps." Smirking, she spits back.

"You want another taste of my fist of love!?" Garp growls blowing on his fist fuming.

"Bring it old man!" Mad, she reels her fist back bashing it into his face throwing him back into the corner however as she does so…

"Hey, when you giving me a grandkid?" Garp asks casually shoving his finger up his nose not batting an eye to the debris descending down from said strike.

"Are you even listening to me!?" Mad, the ruby red-faced female fumes at the older man.

"Oh, I'm listening little brat." Bemused, Garp grins reels his fist back bashing his fist of love, charging at Ann lunging forward towards him, both fists of love about to connect when…

"ENOUGH!" Sengoku rushes towards the two blocking both strikes surprising the two as they are thrown back into the air. Garp clumsily is thrown back by the wind pressure from his fierce fist as both are thrown back into their respective walls or what Ann had expected anyway until feeling herself be caught almost…

"The hell?" Ann couldn't help but blink befuddled grimacing at the sickly stench of smashed stone in the air, why hadn't she hit the wall?

"Look what I caught? A super-hot babe…" Ann could feel her eye twitch tense from the voice alone let alone the hands holding her as she turns to glare glower at the man holding her.

"You…bastard!" Agitated, Ann glares glower up at the tall, towering giant that is Kuzan, she wasn't some damsel she was happy to take the hit.

"Oh, looks like the super-hot babe is mad." Kuzan looks down at the glaring Ann.

"I have a name dumbass!" Ann barks back at him.

"Maybe you could tell me it on our date tonight?" Teasingly, Kuzan suggests.

"Date!? In your dreams dumbass!" Ann angrily glares up at Kuzan.

"Come on I saved you; you owe me don't you think?" Kuzan argues.

"Don't you think you should be doing your work?" Ann argues.

"Why should I do that when I can admire a work of art like you all day." Kuzan rebukes as a wave of heat hits the flustered form that was Ann.

"T-Tch bastard…! Also saved my ass…get over yourself I would have been happy to have hit that wall then fall in your arms!" Agitated, Ann flails in Kuzan's arms.

"They're they go again…"

"Honestly Kuzan-san is just wasting his time…she'll never agree!"

"Yeah, Kuzan's charity shouldn't be wasted on someone like her!"

The marines watch the one-sided argument, of Ann yelling at the almost amused Kuzan in his arms, a daily occurrence in the marines of the vice admiral asking out the just done fellow vice admiral. How many times had he asked her out by now? The marines had honestly lost track…

"Oi Ann-chan I'd love to be your prince charming and sweep you off your feet." Kuzan admits to Ann walking past him, almost having waited for her.

"And I'd love for you to do your work also who the hell says I need a prince charming icehole!" Ann flips him off not even batting an eye to him as she heads into her office.

"Oi Ann-chan. Aside from being sexy, what do you do for a living?" Kuzan smirks leant against the side of Ann's office space, attempting to do her work.

"I try to keep your ass doing work speaking of…" Smiling, Ann slams said tower of papers down in Kuzan's arms as he sweatdrops at the paperwork.

"Complete it by five or don't come near me again." Ann swiftly slides said door shut, swiftly shutting Kuzan up as he grumpily goes off to do just that.

"I've heard it said that kissing is the 'language of love.' Would you care to have a conversation with me about it sometime?" Kuzan asks as he then sets the completed paperwork down on her desk as Ann dutifully does her work while he leans over smirking down at her.

"Would you care to sign these files off?" Ann blanking Kuzan hands him more work. Scowling, he snatches said papers storming off grumbling under his breath miserably as Ann simply does her work, unfazed by the air getting colder nor the sharp slide of the door.

"Your breasts remind me of Mount Rushmore — my face should be among them." Kuzan smirks at Ann the two out on a mission, him sat on some frozen pirates as the just done Ann attempts to handle the paperwork for it all.

"Your face will be amongst those corpses if you don't fuck off…" Ann flips him off once more leaving him to the frozen forms beneath him.

The sound of cheering echoes in the bar, Ann quietly sat down alone at the bar, silently sipping her drink when…

"My doctor told me I have a vitamin D deficiency. Want to go back to my place and save me?" Kuzan sits down next to her smirking at the just done Ann.

"I'd rather you went back to your place and died alone as you probably will in the future." Ann admits as she simply goes back to her drink unfazed by the huffing Kuzan, still seated by her.

"Did it hurt? When you fell from heaven?" Kuzan asks as the next day he approaches Ann attempting to teach her class self-defence when he had approached, a fair few eyes on them when…

"I don't know did it hurt when I kicked your ass!" Ann kicks the vice admiral back baffling so many as he is kicked into the wall.

"And that ladies, is how you defend yourselves from creeps." Pleased, Ann clasps her hands together, unfazed by the man embedded into the wall.

Ann makes her way to her office, paperwork in hand as Kuzan talking up a lovestruck marine girl, perks up at the sight of Ann almost blanking the girl he was in mid process of as he quickly ditches her.

"Oi Ann! Are you a refrigerator? Because you leave me hard for days." Kuzan manages to catch up to her, pinning her to the wall almost as Ann simply stares at the man.

"Funny I had this great dream of you leaving, imagine my disappointed to discover you were still breathing." Ann smiles sickly sweetly at Kuzan however…

"So, you were dreaming about me…" Mischievously, Kuzan leans in, a glint gleaming in his eye as Ann falters from how close he is, his ice cool breath brushing against her heated cheeks.

"Bastard…that ain't the point icehole!" Incensed, the blushing Ann snaps scowling at Kuzan.

"But I was still in your thoughts one way or another." Kuzan leans in further unfazed by Ann's yelling.

"Yeah, of you leaving me alone!" Ann pushes Kuzan back but…

"I was still in your thoughts say had any dirty dreams about me?" He gently takes her hand smirking smugly setting his lips down upon her hand astonishing Ann as a whole wave of heat hits her crimson cheeks further from his smooth move.

"I had a dream about you dead. Shame that's not reality!" Ann rudely brushes him off, storming off flustered fuming even at the sheer nerve of the still smirking Kuzan, now leant against the wall, arms crossed cockily.

"You still thought of me!" Merrily, Kuzan calls out to the just done flustered Ann, stomping off leaving the smirking Kuzan to it.

"Come on can you blame him? That's the beauty of the marines!" One of the marines point out eyeing the still bickering pair.

"Ann sama!" One of the marines' squeals.

"Nothing can compare to her beauty!" Another marine blushes brightly.

"Lady Hancock has nothing on such beauty!" Another marine squeal smiling.

The marines coo as Ann plops herself down from Kuzan's arms dusting herself off unaware of the scowling Kuzan watching on as she turns to the stern scowl of Sengoku, holding Garp by his collar, no doubt having pried him from his own crater of a wall. He turns to glare at the two he would soon have to deal with….

Groaning, Ann holds her head swearing she could hear ringing once more while she checks for any crimson currents or scarlet stains. She swore, someone shouldn't have to have two lectures in one day. Honestly her old man was such a pain. Annoyed, Ann returns to her office, slowly sliding the door behind her shut at least she was back in her office, now she could relax or at the least have some paperwork to do to distract her or some…Ann stops when she steps into her office brow furrowing from the stranger in her office.

"The hell are you doing here icehole!?" Agitated, Ann glares at the familiar figure sleeping soundly on her sofa. Fury flows through Ann at the sheer sight of the man, did he think he could come up here!? Did he think just because he was older, he could just come in here without her permission!? Pissed, she glares glowers at the fool below before bashing her foot into the man's leg seething snarling.

"…Do you mind?" Mumbling, the grumbling groan of the man mutters, book opened draped over his face.

"Do you!?" Scowling, she glares at Kuzan in her office, Kuzan wore a deep blue shirt, some circular shades and a blue bandanna, still having the nerve to just come into her office made Ann seethe. Angry, Ann could feel her blood boil, bubble burn as the numerous possibilities of how to evict the man floods in her head, maybe she could drag him out? Maybe she could poison him, have him run to the medic pray that the trip would make her message clear, that it would serve as punishment for entering her office without permission, the medic bay wasn't that far anyone and with how popular said male below was, she was sure he'd be first in line for it.

"…" Silently, said male grunts, getting up, book sliding off his face as he adjusts his shades scowling.

"This is my office Icehole!" Growling, Ann asserts angrily to the man making her blood boil, bubble, burn even more at how indifferent the man looks, he almost looks bored by the sheer sight of her.

"And this is a comfy couch." Briskly, he shrugs stating the fact firmly flabbergasting her as he turns back to said sofa, there were sofas everywhere why sleep on hers? Baffled, Ann couldn't help but stare stunned at the weirdo in her office, trying to understand his thought process but finding herself even more lost.

"…I don't…I don't know how to respond to that." Tense, Ann eyes the playboy below brow furrowed not quite sure how to respond, glancing from side to side sheepishly.

"Then don't and let me sleep." Simply, said male turs back towards the sofa befuddling her how could her sofa be that comfy? Bell had complained about it constantly saying how cheap Ann was, which to be fair she was, why waste her precious money on something like that anyway, how could it be comfy anyway? It didn't even have a pillow…not that it mattered, what mattered was getting the Garp fanboy out of her office, she had enough of the old man as it were she didn't need another rant of how amazing said sea hero was, she didn't have the patience to deal with any of it.

"No this is my office get out!" Sternly, she glares glowers down at the fool below, seeing it as a challenge of sorts scowling, ready for whatever was to come as she stood before the older man. Just because he was older doesn't mean he can do what he wants. Since she was younger, he probably thought he could do what he wants with her. She knew that she knew how many of the marines could be…let alone him constantly bugging her.

"In five minutes." Mumbling, he grunts burrowing his face deeper into the sofa below befuddling Ann.

"Five minutes!? How about zero minutes!? Get out!" Scowling, she slams her foot down on the ground attempting to scare the man off and yet…

"So loud…" said male turns his back to her making her gawk at the nerve of him.

"And you're obnoxious Icehole who the hell do you think you are coming into my office acting as if you own the place!?" Perturbed, she snarls scowling demanding the truth from the man but…

"…" Angrily, Ann's eye twitches tiredly at the man below her. Why was he always like this!? What gave him the confidence to act like this Ann did not know. Ann soon sighed, her shoulders shagging, fatigue getting the best of her as she soon stops faltering from the idea of kicking him out, she was already in enough trouble as it were today, she didn't need to get it in much more, let alone did she have the energy to kick him out as she always did.

"Don't ignore me icehole!" Angrily, Ann roars raising her voice to the male but…

"…" Said male remains with his back turned napping much to her irritation.

"Urgh you're such an ass!" Ann stomps back over to her desk dutifully returning to her duties muttering murder under her breath only to hear the loud snore of Kuzan in return, her eye twitching tense as she returns to her work.

Quietly, Anne looks out at the window behind her desk, enjoying the brisk breeze brushing through her hair, a strange still silence falling in the air between both individuals in the room, how long had he been sleeping here? Ann did not know or did she want to. A part of her had considered asking the old man about it but knowing how the string was within the marines she thought it best not to pry anymore having made enough chaos as it were for the day…

Ann jolts up at the sharp screech of a seagull making her warm browns look up at the letter dropped before her by one of Morgan's birds, a small soft smile crosses her lips as she opens it, recognising the handwriting anyway as she reads it, happy to agree to it oblivious to the sound of snoring fading. Kuzan's eyes widen when seeing such softened features, such a soft smile from the normally scowling woman as he watches her smoothly slide said letter into her corset vest of sorts.

Ann soon stands, about to leave when Ann's eyes narrow at a certain someone sleeping on her sofa. She shoves her hands into her pockets approaching the parasite in her office.

"Oi." Scowling, she glares down at the tall, towering figure slumped against the bush.

"…" Silently, said male remains firm in his sleeping state.

"Garp fanboy." Agitated, Ann reels her heel back bashing it into the side of his long leg however…

"…" The marine remains sleeping stunning Ann as she couldn't help but ponder if breaking it would wake him up, a part of her hopeful to try it…

"Stop ignoring me!" Mad, Ann yells at the asshole before her still sleeping to his hearts content much to her fury.

"Maybe if you call me by my name I'll respond." Playfully, Kuzan calls out, his back turned to her, her baffled browns widen when hearing his voice, faintly flinching from the use of said sound, she hadn't heard him speak since…

"…Okay fine, hey icehole get up!" Angrily, Ann orders yelling at the man feeling her blood boil, bubble, burn once more maddened at the sheer nerve of the ass in her office trying to invade it almost.

"…" Silently, he remains on her sofa.

"Oh, come on icehole fits you so well!" Aggravated, Ann whines huffing slumping her shoulders scowling seething turning on her heel circling around the place trying to find some solution to this dilemma she had to deal with…

"Who knew you could make such a face?" Astonished, Ann perks up at Kuzan's voice.

"So, you are awake then icehole…" Ann's eye twitches at the nerve of Kuzan.

"And if I am?" Kuzan cooly challenges.

"If you are, go back to your office and do your work icehole!" Incensed, Ann barks at Kuzan.

"Mm…how about that drink you owe me?" Kuzan hums.

"I owe you?!" Ann gawks gapes at Kuzan.

"I caught you." Kuzan rolls back over to face her unapologetically.

"I didn't ask to be caught!" Ann glares at the blue bandanna wearing man.

"One date that's all I'm asking." Kuzan tells her.

"This again?" Ann scowls, eye twitching tense at the ass, he just wanted bragging rights, he knew how the marines spoke about her, having the reputation going out for drinks with Ann would no doubt be a boost for the ass before her. She wasn't some prize to be caught, some prey to be trapped, some prey to be put up on display for the idiot's ego. She knew about his body count, tons did, she refused to be another body for him.

"…I'll pay." Kuzan asserts.

"URGH!" Angry, Ann slams her furious fist into the table below blood boiling, bubbling, burning once madder at the sheer nerve of the uncaring male. Why wouldn't he just leave her alone!? All she wanted was to do her job, but he had to keep bugging her!?

"Hey Ann, I…eh?" Smiling, a familiar blonde enters said room only to falter, furrowing his brow by the stranger in her room.

"…" Said stranger sleeps soundly keeping to himself.

"…Don't ask." Annoyed, Ann grumbles glaring glowering at the ass as she crosses her arms over her chest.

"So…what's going on?" Rosinante queries curiosity clear in his tone towards Ann.

"This icehole decided to sleep here." Huffing, Ann points towards the sleeping man.

"…Why?" The befuddled blonde queries.

"HOW THE HELL SHOULD I KNOW!?" Angrily, Ann scowls.

"The shouting is really helping me sleep…" Surprised, the two of them jolt up at the bored lazy drawl of Kuzan.

"Oh, I'm sorry it's not like this is your office though!" Tense, she barks back down glaring glowering at the eyesore as she swiftly slams her foot to the ground in frustration.

"…Okay so this is happening." Rosinante whispers weakly baffled by what was happening as he too took a foot.

"Wait…this is perfect! Rosinante you're my fried right? You love me, right?" Hopeful, Ann asks beaming brightly at the unnerved blonde.

"As a friend yes and normally, I'd say yes without hesitation, but I feel like this is going somewhere and I don't like it." Said blonde sweat drops at the smiling Ann.

"You don't know if you like it if you don't try." Ann argues as said blonde blinks befuddled by her words.

"That…doesn't make me feel better." Bluntly, Rosinante deadpans.

"Yeah, well with your silence fruit we can get rid of him." Happily, Ann points out almost oblivious to the man between the two clearly hearing her plan.

"…Are you suggesting we kill a vice admiral?" Alarmed, Rosa gawks at the thought.

"I mean we wouldn't kill him maybe the sea kings would…" Fairly, Ann points out.

"I can hear you…" The two flinch at the voice alone as they turn back to the scowling Kuzan.

"THEN LEAVE!" Ann barks back at Kuzan raising her haki fist but…

One date." Kuzan catches it taking her aback as he asks that once more, his hand firmly over hers, his hand easily covering her smaller hand, tugging her forward, taking her aback at his serious expression, once more making that request. Ann couldn't help but scowl, her legs seemingly buckling briefly by the gentle pull, her nose gently touching his own as he silently stares at her from behind his shades, something seemingly within Ann as next he knew she had decked him. He had been flung into the nearby wall with her shouting, snapping at the man below, Kuzan himself looking unfazed by the angry Ann almost amused at her reaction as he sat slumped in the crater of the wall, brushing the debris off him. Rosinante watches the one-sided yelling match, quietly stepping out, leaving the two to it.

"What do you mean I'm going to have a partner!?" Perturbed, the angry Ann demands done swiftly slamming said furious fist down upon the desk below, feeling her blood boil, bubble, burn even enraged at the sheer notion alone. She had done multiple missions alone what the hell was with the change!? Why did she need a partner!? She's handled stuff on her own time and time again as if she needs some dead weight holding her back.

"We just thought it would be wise for you to have a handler…" The fleet Admiral tells Ann, Sengoku standing by her side stoically staring ahead.

"I'm no child." Curtly, Anne huffs, crossing her arms over her chest, insulted at the idea alone. She was a vice admiral; she didn't need any of this…

"Perhaps not but yesterday's fight hadn't helped." Snippily, Sengoku hints.

"I did what you wanted; I had a word with the old man not my fault things got out of hand." Dutifully, Ann argues but…

"A word does not involve fists." Firmly, the admiral in question points out.

"Oh, come on you two know Garp he isn't the sort to reason with words." Ann disputes, the two me share a look from her words, knowing she had a point, the old man was a man of action not words, you could sprout all you want but unless you provide it the old man wouldn't believe it.

"Nor you trying to kill Kuzan." Sengoku throws in making the alarmed Ann flinch from the mention of her latest problem.

"Don't be so dramatic. If I really wanted the fucker dead, he'd be dead." Ann asserts.

That's not the point!" Sengoku slams his hand down on the desk.

"Then what is? He started it with constantly harassing about going on a date with him let alone him just coming into my office and just started sleeping seriously who does that!?" Tense, Ann demands done with the two taken aback at them siding with the ass as she seethes snarls even enraged at the bias men before her as just then…

"I do." A familiar voice rings out alarming Ann turning towards the doors once slid shut now opened by the tall, towering figure of…

"Ah Kuzan perfect timing." Pleased, Sengoku smiles at him.

"How so? How is him being here any good?" Anne angrily accuses pointing at the tall, towering figure simply staring ahead.

"I am here you know?" Kuzan gently sets her accusatory finger down.

"And you think I give a shit?!" Snarling, she slaps his hand off her fuming.

"Don't you think you should give me an apology?" Kuzan argues as he looks down at the glaring girl.

"An apology!? The hell should I apologise about!?" Agitated, Ann angrily demands done.

"Well for one hitting my head." Kuzan deadpans.

"Well maybe if you just didn't decide to go into someone else office and just started sleeping that wouldn't happen?" Ann angrily accuses as she points at him.

"Not my fault you have a comfy sofa." Bluntly, he shrugs confusing the two others watching them.

"Stop saying that!" Tense, Anne angrily roars, a faint ruby red tint to her crimson cheeks.

"Why? It's the truth." Kuzan scratches the back of his neck as Ann glares glowers up at him.

"It's weird when you say that!" Tense, she snarls back at him however he doesn't bat an eye to the angry Anne.

"And why's that?" Teasingly, he asks amused almost as he looks down at the blonde facing her taking her aback astonishing her as she scowls at his smug smirk seeing said glint gleam in his eyes.

"You know perfectly well why!" Ann accuses agitated.

"Do I now?" Smirking, he raises a brow bemused by her heated fuming facial features.

"Nrghh!" Growling, Ann angrily glares glowers up at the amused Kuzan smirking smugly as he straightens himself looming over at her smirking smugly down at her bemused by her fuming face, finding it rather cute…

"Enough!" Sengoku snaps breaking the two up.

"He started it!" Irritated, Ann points towards the tall, towering figure looking bored.

"I'm not the one acting like a child." Curtly, Kuzan crosses his arms over his chest.

"Who the hell said I was acting like a kid!?" Agitated, Ann roars raising her voice at Kuzan simply glancing to the side bored blanking her out.

"That is the point I just made." Kuzan cranes his head to the side.

"URGH!" Ann releases a strange sound similar to a war cry almost as the group arch a brow at the mad mess that is Ann.

"I said enough! Both of you need to stop this bickering." Sengoku states the fact firmly to the two.

"Who said we were bickering?" Brow furrowed, Ann scowls at Sengoku.

"He just said you were." Kuzan looks over at his nails once more.

"Hey, he said we it ain't just me buddy!" Brow furrowed; Ann accuses agitated.

"You're the one…" Calmly, Kuzan turns to frown at Ann.

"I SAID ENOUGH!" Sengoku snaps silencing the pair.

"Good, now both of you will be working together." Sengoku states to the two.

"…Excuse you?" Ann's eyes narrow.

"Kuzan knew about it, but I thought it wise to advise you." The fleet admiral adds.

"Why the hell is he being my god damn handler!? Why do I even need one!?" Aggravated, Ann demands from them.

"That there is why." Kuzan points to her.

"Oh, shut up!" She slaps said hand away.

"We think you being under Kuzan's tutelage will help with your…" Calmly, the fleet admiral attempts to explain but…

"With my what?" Ann places her hands on her hips.

"With your…" The fleet admiral gestures…

"Come on say it. I dare you." Ann sneers scowling.

"Temper." Kuzan answers for the man.

"I wasn't talking to you!" Ann roars raising her voice to the bored Kuzan.

"Either way seems we'll be seeing a lot more of each other now so let's get along yeah?" Kuzan sighs scratching the back of his head before offering his hand out to Ann.

"…" Silently, Ann stares at the hand offered out to her, her heated browns gazing up into a stern cold pair of black as before he knew it she turned on her heel storming out of the office, leaving the marine men mystified as Sengoku sighs slapping his hand over his face fuming.

"Garp what is with your family being so damn difficult!?" Sengoku curses glaring glowering at the slammed shut door unaware of Kuzan's small smirk of amusement at the angry Ann storming out…

Tiredly, Ann makes her way into the bar being greeted by the chattering conversations between customers chirpily conversing with one another in a world of their own. Ann's nose twitches tentatively at the sick stench of sweat, vomit and who knows what while she perks up at a familiar straw hat.

"What's with you?" The smirking red head happily welcomes Ann as she takes a seat by his side smiling.

"You wouldn't believe the day I had." Huffing, Ann grumbles slumping said shoulders scowling.

"Oh, ho do tell." Said redhead smirks as he hands her, her pint.

"I got some handler." Huffing, Ann answers as she sips said drink.

"A handler? Did you bite someone again?" Amused, Shanks smirks at her leaning into her inner palm.

"That was one time!" Tiredly, Ann smirks shaking her head at the murky memory of it all.

"So, you don't deny it." Intrigued, Shanks smirks arching a brow bemused.

"Of course I do dumbass!" Amused, Ann lightly hits his shoulder smirking.

"Then what? You got into a fight?" Shanks smirks slightly.

"…Maybe." Meekly, Ann glances to the side sheepishly.

"Ann." Shanks snickers at her terrible attempt of a lie.

"He pissed me off he always shoves off promotions and when he does the big boss gets all sassy to me about it." Irritated, Ann grumbles glaring down at the pin below.

"Why you?" Shanks queries.

"He thinks I can change my old man's mind." Miserably, Ann huffs under her breath brow furrowed.

"Garp? The guy is stubborn as an ox." Shanks snickers slightly at the thought.

"You think I don't know that urgh…I can't believe I'm getting a handler I ain't a kid." Annoyed, Ann complains.

"Aren't you?" Shanks smirks slightly.

"Oi, oi I thought you'd be on my side." Pouting, Ann whines.

"Please I know how you are, we were on the same ship remember?" Shanks reminds her.

"I didn't bite those people though." Tiredly, Ann argues.

"But you wanted to." Teasingly, Shanks smirks.

"One of them was going to kidnap me what was I supposed to do?" Dubiously, Ann snickers slightly.

"Call out for help like normal people do." Shanks smirks at Ann.

"Sorry but with a hand over my mouth that wasn't happening anytime soon." Snippily, Ann scoffs.

"Come on I hear this place has some booze!" A girl squeaks smiling as she arrives, arm wrapped around Kuzan's arm as he eyes the place.

"…Right." Kuzan's eyes narrow noting the familiar locks of blondish pink, perkily laughing with a red head.

"Kuzan there's a seat over here come on." The girl guides him over.

"…" Silently, he complies taking a seat eyeing the two talking with one another.

I wonder how Buggy's doing…" Ann ponders out loud.

"I wish I could tell you…" Shanks sighs.

"You haven't seen him?" Ann arches a brow.

"Nah I thought we'd bump into each other by now." Shanks leans back in his seat.

"Hmm…I wonder what's taking him so long?" Ann ponders to herself.

"Who knows…hey you think he still has that silly attack of his?" Shanks smirks slightly.

"Oh, you mean with the shoe?" Snickering, Ann adds amused.

"Yeah Pfffff! Remember how proud he was of that!?" Shanks snickers.

"Until it blasted in his face! PPFFF! Man, it feels like ages…" Ann giggles before smiling softly at the thought of her other friend.

"Yeah, I miss him…" Shanks sighs.

"We should all get a drink together sometime." Ann reasons.

"I'd like that. Oh, I better get going. It was good to see you." Shanks gets off his seat.

"As it was to see you take care yeah?" Ann smirks at Shanks.

"Yeah, you too." Shanks smiles and leaves Ann as she reaches out to her drink.

"I'll go get our drinks…" Kuzan arises from his seat after listening to the women babble about who knows what.

"O-Okay!" Blushing, she smiles watching him head over to the counter joining the pink, blonde's side.

"Had fun?" Kuzan breaks the still silence between both of them watching while said blonde chokes on said substance below.

"…Why the hell are you here?" Horrified, she slams her had down on the counter glaring at Kuzan.

"I'm on my date." Kuzan points to the girl behind him.

"Oh right…" Ann looks over at the giddy girl looking around the place.

"So, who was that?" Kuzan pries.

"Can't I have friends?" Frowning, Ann scowls at Kuzan.

"No, I'm just surprised you do." Kuzan admits annoying Ann.

"Oh, you think you're hilarious, don't ya?" Dryly, Ann sneers slurping said drink.

"I try." Unapologetic, Kuzan simply shrugs.

"Yes, well how about you try tending to your lady?" Snippily, Ann points to the girl looking around the place perkily.

"Do I detect a hint of jealousy?" Kuzan smirks slightly.

"What would I be jealous of?" Astonished, Ann furrows her brow at Kuzan.

"That you're not her." Kuzan remarks.

"…Are you serious?" Scoffing, Ann smirks.

"And if I am?" Amused, Kuzan leans in.

"Oh, sweet summer child." Smirking, Ann shakes her head returning her focus to her beer.

"I was born in autumn." Kuzan deadpans.

"Yeah, well my point is this…I can get any guy I want why would I want to settle on a sloth like you?" Ann scoffs.

"Maybe because you like me." Kuzan smirks back bemused.

"I don't know you." Ann shakes her head at the fool.

"But you could learn to." He leans in towards her.

"And why would I want to do that?" Ann reels back baffled brow furrowed.

"It would be wise since we'll be working together." Kuzan reminds her making her grimace glaring to the side scowling.

"This crap again?" Agitated, she sneers scowling.

"It's happening whether you like it or not the best thing you can do is suck it up." Bluntly, Kuzan tells her.

"Your drinks sir." The bar keeper smiles shyly at Kuzan, a faint feverish tint to her cheeks eyeing the man.

"Thanks." He pays for the drinks.

"You…" Ann's eyes narrow as he turns his back to her.

"Have a good evening, Ann." Amused, Kuzan smirks at the angry Ann before returning to his date as done the angry Ann downs said drink before storming off, trying to deal with the predicament she found herself stuck with.
