Of Mines and Outcast

Hiccups POV:

It has been three weeks since I gave my father and Gobber a tour of my base and since then quite a bit has happened in both my home and the village. For me I had finally taken inventory of everything in my vault and I have to say I was surprised by the amount I had. It was a whole lot more than I originally thought which meant I had a whole lot of organizing to do and a bit more construction to do in my vault. It took me a while but I was eventually able to figure out a way to easily sort out all of my currency, jewels and gold or bejeweled items in my vault. In order to do the sorting I did have to enlarge my vault and divide it into six rooms for the different items and add mining carts with rails that lead into each room to make moving the stuff from the middle room a little easier. I had taken a little bit of a security precaution however when it came to renovating the vault. Each of the rooms had sheets of gronkle iron that was a foot thick for walls, floor and roofing. Going over the gronkle iron was white marble for both decoration and an extra protection.

The way my new vault worked was the stuff would come down the chute underneath my statue of Odin before landing in a large gronkle iron pit in the middle of my vaults first room. The room was circular with white marble walls, floor and roofing, gronkle iron torches hanging on the white marble support beams against the walls and the four circling the pit. The pit was circular, in the middle of the room and built in a special way. The way the pit worked was the floor of the pit was set on some springs so when a big load came in the floor would sink and as the load got lighter the floor would rise to the point it looked like a piece of the floor with railing around it. This would of course save me the trouble of needing to hop into the pit to gather the last bits. From there I would separate the items into the different carts so I could send them into their different rooms but each of the rooms was built differently.

For the room where I kept all the different currencies there were two rows of pits like the ones I had in the middle room. I had five pits on each side and a simple walkway in the middle. In front of each pit was a pedestal with a plaque on it with the name of the currency and where it could be used. The room where I stored the jewels was the same except with four more pits and the plaques said what type of gem was in the pit. Then there's the room where I stored the gold items I found like Gold plates, goblets and pots. This room had white marble shelves built into the walls where I displayed the plates stacked in piles of five along with the goblets and pots. The room where I kept the gold statues, weapons and helmets was almost with the items on display upon the shelves. The only difference was at the back of the room there white marble pedestals that were a foot tall and displayed the large golden statues I had. Then there was the room where I stored all the jeweled chests, which was just an empty room where I had lined the chests up by size so when I walked in they were facing me as I walked down the path. Finally there was the room where I kept the all the different jewelry and bejeweled items. This room had multiple pedestals with white marble statues of necks for the necklaces, white marble T's to hold the bracelets, white marble faceless heads to hold the crowns or tiaras and hands facing up with their fingers spread out to hold the rings.

Meanwhile the village had a few problems thanks to Mildew and his plan to discredit the dragons and me still living on Berk. He went through with his plan to tear up everyone's shoes only to be caught by my father after he was done ripping up the last of the shoes. From what I saw using my falcons he tried to say he followed a zippleback who had taken the shoes and pointed to a zippleback who was sleeping by a tree. This zippleback was one of the dragons who hung around near the village and as Mildew pointed to the footprints in the snow that lead up to it to try and prove it was the one who stole the shoes my dad just pointed to the old mans choice of foot wear. When everyone found out nobody was happy and neither was Mildew since he had to fix all the shoes in that he tore up. In the meantime a lot of Vikings had to go bare foot, which was not that comfortable for them.

Other than that things had been pretty relaxed for me and the other inhabitants on my island. I enjoyed my free time riding Toothless, running with my wolves, swimming with my tidal classes and Kal, lying down with Glacia on one of her tusks, driving my chariot, relaxing by the oasis with Nylene's head in my lap, swinging from vines in the jungle, designing new things and just plain relaxing. Another thing I had done was I finally finished work on building a stable mine on Dragon Island, which took a while due to the tunnels being so unstable, but after a while I was able to design and install support beams out of gronkle iron that would hold the tunnels open and keep them from collapsing. In the mine I had set up a rail system with multiple mining carts so I'd have an easier time collecting the diamonds and getting them out. I had also put in a large gronkle iron door at the entrance to keep wondering dragons from entering and doing any damage. For the mine I also built a new ship specifically designed for moving cargo from the mine. This ships entire lower deck was just cargo storage for the diamonds and had a front that could open up like my long exploration ship. On the side there was a gangplank with rails so I could push the carts on board the top before emptying the diamonds into the storage hull below.

Another thing that has changed was my father had been bothering me to give some of my stuff to village like some of my extra food for the warehouse, weapons for the armory or to help make copies of my inventions for the village. When he asked for my inventions I turned him down straight out before telling him that Mildew would sabotage them to discredit me or the twins would do it for a laugh. He knew I was right before he asked that I at least set up a small stall in the village to sell some of my extra stuff to the villagers. I just told him I would think about it and I made no promises. He understood this and accepted it knowing how I was still trying to forgive the village for all the torment I went through. For now though I just wanted to relax since I had the feeling that this peaceful time would not be lasting long.

Presently I was on board my mining ship on my way to dragon island to see how well the mine would do with the dragons I had picked out for a mining team. The team consisted of Gnaw to sniff out the diamonds, Diggs to dig them all out, Rubble to collect them all into mining carts before pushing said carts into storage and Toothless as my riding dragon incase we needed to make a quick escape. I just hoped it didn't come to that since the only reason we would need to make an escape is if there was trouble and that's the last thing I wanted. When we arrived at Dragon Island I turned to my team and asked.

"You guys ready to get to work?" They each gave a roar of approval to which I chuckled. "Let's start mining." We docked before we made our way into the mine to get to work.

Back on Berk

Nobodies POV:

In the forge Gobber and Stoick were sitting down across from each other discussing what they saw on Hiccups Island. Gobber looked at Stoick and said.

"You know you really can't deny the lad's done good for himself."

"I know that Gobber."

"I mean seriously all that wealth from simple trading and sunken ship looting. He's richer than that stuck up chief who had those instruments played to announce his arrival and refused to sleep in the guest hut." Stoick began rubbing his temples.

"I know Gobber."

"Why did he refuse to sleep there again?"

"He claimed it was too ratty for him." Gobber chuckled.

"Well next time he comes by I say we take him down to Hiccups vault to shut him up."

"I doubt Hiccup would allow him onto his island."

"That's true with how that pampered princess of his acted towards him." Gobber scratched his head. "You know we could really use some of those inventions of his on Berk."

"I know Gobber but you know how Hiccup is about sharing his inventions with the village."

"Yeah he's throwing everything we did back at us but with everything we did to him I suppose we deserve it." Gobber rubbed his chin. "Shame to since we could use some of those weapons he has to defend ourselves from Alvin the treacherous. Our oldest and most feared enemy! He'd kill us all to take Berk for his own." Stoick turned back to Gobber.

"I got it Gobber!" He turned away from Gobber and muttered. "Alvin the treacherous!"

On Outcast island

Alvin the treacherous was standing in front of a small volcano opening with his second in command Savage next to him going over his plan to capture the dragon conqueror or as the people of Berk know him, Hiccup. Alvin pointed at the map of Berk that was in front of him as he said.

"We'll dock here under the cover of night while five of our ships dock here just out of catapult range." It was then Savage asked.

"Why aren't we attacking with the whole army at the front?"

"Because we aren't there to destroy the village and fight Stoick but knowing him he'll send the woman and children to hide in the forest so we can take them for hostages. This will be our bargaining chip to get the one man we're going for. The Dragon Conqueror!"

"And you'll have him. I hear he's ten feet tall with the strength of a dozen men."

"He shouldn't be hard to find then and when we have him we'll force him to move all our dragons to Berk and destroy it." He then let out an evil laugh which his men soon followed.

Sunset

We were now taking the last load of gems up to the ship and to say we found a lot would be an understatement. While exploring the volcano we made more mines and stumbled upon different veins of gems. We ended up finding more diamonds along with ruby's, emeralds, amethyst and sapphires. All I know is if my next expeditions here were like this one then I'd need to enlarge my vault to hold all the new gems. I chuckled to myself as we dropped the last load into the hold, which was filled almost to the brim. Once we emptied the last of carts I had Ruble take it back to the mine before I closed up the doors to the mine and returned to the ship. Once I was aboard I turned to my dragons and said.

"Great work today guys and with today's load I believe we can count our mining operation a success." They growled in approval. "Well let's get this load home and then enjoy dinner." They all roared in joy at the thought of dinner and I couldn't blame them since we had been working all day. I gave Scaulder the signal to start pulling the ship and we were off.

Half an hour later

My island was finally in sight and I have to say I was looking forward to dropping these gems off in the vault. The sooner the better since if anyone knew what I was carrying then it would turn me into a huge target. As we sailed towards my island I couldn't help but feel that something big was coming. I knew this could be just me being paranoid but with what I have in my hold who could blame me. I just hoped the peace I was enjoying could last just a little bit longer. I turned when I felt Toothless nudge my side and give me a look that I knew meant he wanted to go for a fly to try out some maneuvers we've been working on. I smiled before I rubbed his head and said.

"Don't worry bud! As soon as we've dropped off the cargo we'll go practice the maneuvers." He crooned at this before he went and lay down by the rails.

When we finally arrived in the ship shed where my dragons and animals were waiting for me. I smiled at them before we began unloading the gems using wagons to carry the diamonds to the vault for sorting. When we were done the full moon was out making it the perfect night for a flight with the moonlight shining down on us. We were now on the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean. I mounted Toothless and asked.

"You ready Bud?"

He gave a growl and nod before we took off ducking and dodging the sea stacks as we spun and flipped. As we flew I enjoyed the wind rushing through my hair. I gave Toothless a rub on the neck as he crooned before I looked up at the full moon shining its light down on us. I always loved the full moon as a child and how its light shone down on me and seemed to chase away the dark. It always made me somehow feel at peace with the world around me when everyone in said world would shun me. I had Toothless land on a sea stack so I could enjoy the view of the moon just a bit longer but it was then I spotted a few ships in the distance and from what I could tell they weren't friendly if the catapults were any indication. I saw they were heading towards Berk so I knew this meant I should warn my dad about it so I looked at Toothless and said.

"We better head to Berk to warn my dad Bud." He growled before we took off to Berk.

When we arrived, we flew right into the Great Hall much to the shock of those who were there eating dinner. I saw my dad sitting at the head table looking at me as if I were crazy before he asked.

"Hiccup what is the meaning of this?" I dismounted Toothless before I walked up to him.

"I saw some ships heading this way and they did not look friendly." He stood up hearing this.

"Did you see the insignias on their sails." I nodded.

"Yeah they were Viking helmets with three horns coming out of either side of the it." My dad rubbed his beard.

"The insignia of the Outcasts." He looked down at me. "You were right to come and tell me Hiccup." He then turned to the Bucket and Mulch. "Mulch! You and Bucket gather up the woman and children and get them all to Thors Beach where they can hide in the caves for safety." They nodded before going to gather all of them as my dad turned to everyone present. "Everyone get your weapons ready and prepare the catapults! We're about to come under attack by the Outcasts." Mildew then stepped forward.

"And how do you know this Stoick?" My dad turned to face him.

"Hiccups just informed me that he spotted them."

"Oh so we're supposed to take the word from a brat who lives with savage beasts on tha-" I cut him off by grabbing him by the neck as I said.

"Those beasts as you call them have done more for me then this village has done for me in my life." I let him go before he began breathing in deeply as I looked down at him. "You can heed my warning or not but frankly I don't care what your choice is because you're the ones who have to deal with the consequences." He just coughed before I felt a hand land on my shoulder. I turned to face my dad who was looking down at me again. "Want something?"

"Son could you calm down?" I just nodded before taking in a breath.

"Is that all?"

"No! I was hoping you could help look after the woman and children?"

"Why should I? This isn't my battle and they already have Bucket and Mulch!"

"Listen son I know you aren't that interested in helping the village but could you do it for me just as a precaution."

"Dad! You guys have Gronkle iron weapons which I'm pretty sure are superior to their weapons so you already have a major advantage."

"Yeah but I'd just feel a bit better if you were with them." I cocked an eyebrow.

"Can I bring some of my dragons?"

"Yes!"

"And if Mildew begins to annoy me can I shut him up the way I want to."

"As long as you don't kill him or cause any serious injuries."

"Define serious injuries!"

"Broken bones or deep cuts."

"Alright! I'll go with them."

"Thank you! Did you see how far off their ships are?"

"I'd say half an hour off the coast."

"You better hide your island then!" I nodded before I mounted Toothless and we took off out of the hall for my island.

10 minutes later

We were now on our way back to Thor's beach with Angel, Diggs, Sapphire and Ikan. The reason I was bringing these dragons was if there was trouble and Outcasts coming they could at least stall them without being seen while Ikan can be used to send a message like I trained him. I have to say though it was not easy to convince my other dragons to stay at home while we handled this but in the end they understood. I was wearing my regular armor but had two swords strapped to my back with a foldup shield on my left arm. We were flying over the island when I noticed Bucket and Mulch on the edge of a cliff. I had my dragons fly close but not close enough to be seen. I noticed Bucket had a stuffed lamb on his shoulder and Mulch was complaining to him about wondering off. Bucket just explained how the little girl gave him the puppy dog eyes and how he couldn't resist. Mulch just told him that his bucket was hard but his heart was soft and I couldn't help but let out a small chuckle at this before I realized armed warriors surrounded them with spears. I saw a big guy with a messy beard walk up and thank Bucket for leading them claiming it wasn't hard to miss a halfwit and his lamb. I knew I had to save them but I couldn't attack the outcasts now without running the risk of hurting Bucket and Mulch so I decided to follow and to see what might happen.

5 minutes later

I just listened to Alvin give his whole speech on why he was here to the woman and children of Berk who were all gathered together. He also told them not to bother waiting for help since the ships up front were just decoys to keep my dad and the others busy while he took everyone here hostage. He then went on about how he wanted me and started calling me the dragon conqueror. I knew if a man like him learned how to train dragon it would mean big trouble for a whole lot of people including those of Berk. Since I couldn't attack them without the risk of hurting the woman and children I decided it was best to divide and conquer. I signaled Angel to go back into the woods and make some noise to lure some of the outcasts away. It worked which made me smile as I wrote a letter to my father and had Ikan take it to him while I dealt with the Outcasts in the forest. The team Alvin had sent into the forest consisted of a mustached man who I assume was the second in command and eleven other men. This left Alvin and fifteen men guarding the hostages who I could deal with later. For now, though I needed to focus on the men in the forest. I gently ordered Diggs to take all the Outcasts we catch to the beach, which he was all too happy to fly away to begin. I looked down at the group as the second in command said.

"Split up into teams of two so we can find what that noise is faster." One of the men stepped forward.

"What if we run into trouble Savage?"

"Then shout out for help." He just nodded. "Now move out!"

From there I knew it was time to start taking them down both quickly and silently. I switched Toothless' tail into solo flight mode so Toothless could fly on his own while I had Sapphire use her tail to lower me down gently. I looked up and gave her a nod to circle with Angel and Toothless and wait for me to give them each a signal to take down the Outcasts. I slowly walked up behind two of the Outcasts who were talking and walking side by side. I quickly took the sides of their heads and slammed them together knocking them both out as they collapsed. I stomped my foot on the ground three times to signal Diggs to collect them. It didn't take him long since it wasn't even ten seconds later that they were pulled into the ground. I ran to see the next two were one walking behind the other so I took the one at the back first with speed stinger venom arrow stopping him in his tracks before the other turned around and asked.

"Why'd you stop?"

He walked up to his partner to see what was wrong but when he slapped his partner on the back and he fell over he saw me but before he could utter a word I hit him with the same type of dart I hit his partner leaving him paralyzed with a shocked look on his face. Once again, I stamped my foot on the ground and once again they were pulled into the ground. I then heard footsteps behind me and turned around to see two Outcasts walking towards me with their spears at the ready and smirks on their faces. I smiled at them before I lifted up my hand and did a hand signal for Sapphire. One of the Outcasts then asked.

"What are you doing?" I smiled at him.

"You'll know in a second."

It was at that moment Sapphires tail wrapped around him. He took one look down before he was lifted up and tossed hard into his partner leaving them both unconscious. I smiled up at the sky and gave thumbs up to Sapphire in the trees who gave a nod. I then summoned Diggs to come collect which didn't take long. I still had three more groups to deal with before I had to deal with the remaining men with Alvin. I then ran to find the remaining Outcasts in the forest. I stumbled upon another team with one walking behind the other. I shot the one walking behind the other with a dart before signaling Diggs to pull him down. I ran up behind the other one who was turning around only to be met with a hard punch in the face from me. He went flying back into a tree before he to was pulled into the ground. I signaled Angel to come and pick me up which she was all too happy to do before she flew me over to the second last team where I had her drop me. I kicked them both in the backs of their heads knocking them both out. After Diggs pulled them down into the ground I still had to deal with Savage and his partner. I had Sapphire pick me up so I could find them but unfortunately, they were on their way back to Alvin. I had Sapphire fly me to the beach where Diggs was waiting for us with our captives. Toothless landed before us and gave me a nuzzle as I rubbed his head before getting some rope I had in his saddlebag and tying up the captives. I turned to my dragons before I said.

"Alright gang I'm going to lure the Outcasts to the beach for an ambush so you guys fly there and wait for the fighting to begin." They each growled in understanding but Toothless crooned in concern. "Don't worry bud! I'll be fine." I rubbed his head before I hid my swords on his saddle. I then ran back into the forest to keep an eye on Alvin and his men. I arrived just in time to see Savage and his partner break out of the forest Alvin walked up to them and asked.

"Well did you find what was making that noise?" Savage looked down in fear.

"No Alvin and it seems like the rest of the men who were with us have disappeared."

"What do you mean by disappeared?"

"They just vanished into thin air Alvin. We don't know what happened to them." Before Alvin could reply I walked out of the forest.

"Oh, don't worry about your men Alvin! They're fine just not in the forest anymore." Alvin turned to face me. "Now then I understand you were looking for me." He just glared at me as all his men pointed their weapons at me.

"Who are you?"

"Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third! Son of Stoick the Vast! Current heir of Berk, inventor, blacksmith and as you put it Dragon Conqueror." When I said the last part all the Outcasts laughed.

"You? Stoicks little embarrassment? The dragon Conqueror? Don't make me laugh!"

"Oh, but I am and could you do me a favor next time you decide to attack Berk?"

"And what favor would this be?"

"Next time save it for the day since most of the children here should be in bed sleeping." He walked right up to me glaring.

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you now?"

"Because as I said before I am the dragon conqueror and if you need proof then just take me to your dragons Island so I can prove it." He just grunted. "Fine then! Men bring the so-called dragon Conqueror to the ships." Two men came up to my side and pushed me towards the beach where their ship was docked.

As we made our way to the beach Alvin walked up to me and said.

"I'm sure your fathers told you all about your islands most feared enemy." I shook my head.

"No not really!"

"What? Nothing about Alvin?"

"No, you see me and my dad don't exactly talk that much."

"Well in any case if I find out you're lying to me you'll be dead." I shrugged.

"Surprisingly I'm okay with that!" He raised his eyebrows in shock.

"You are?"

"Yeah I lived a full life so I go off with no regrets except maybe one."

"And what would that one regret be?"

"Giving every idiot in that village of mine a nice good kick in the family jewels for the men and a hard slap in the face to the woman for that pile of yak dung that I call my childhood." Everyone laughed at this.

"Good one but was your childhood really that bad?"

"I received daily beatings and insults from the rest of my generation and hourly glares from my father. What do you think?"

"You had it rough!"

"Trust me when I say you have no idea!" Savage then stepped forward.

"We're almost to the beach Alvin." Alvin just grinned before turning to me.

"Well lad you might get your wish to die sooner than expected." I just shrugged but, on the inside, I was smiling at the thought of how he'll react to seeing my dragons.

When we made it to the cliff which lead down to the beach. I saw Toothless on a stone ledge looking down at us before he hopped down. When the Outcasts saw him, they pointed their weapons towards him before I held up my hand and said.

"Don't! All you'll do is make him angry." Alvin then asked.

"Is that a-"

"Mystery class Nightfury! The unholy offspring of lightning and death itself. Don't worry though. I can handle him." I then made my way up to Toothless before I whispered. "Follow my lead." I then made hand gestures while yelling at him to bring it on and I didn't fear him while leading him away. Once I was sure they couldn't see us I mounted him as Alvin asked.

"What are you doing with that dragon?" I smiled as Toothless turned around.

"By the way Alvin it's not Dragon Conqueror! It's Dragon trainer!"

As soon as I said that me and Toothless took to the air and flew right over Alvin's head as he yelled how I really was the Dragon Conqueror before ordering his men to get me. I simply smiled before I raised my fingers to my mouth and let out a high-pitched whistle to call my other dragons. The second I did Angel uncloaked herself from the side of a tree as Sapphire flew out from the cliff up before Diggs burst from the ground firing his spines everywhere. From there the fight began with Sapphire picking up one of the outcasts with her tail and flinging him into another one. It was then three Outcast's on the lower ship fired their crossbows only for them to be destroyed by a blast of acid from Angel. I gave her a nod in thanks before signaling Diggs, Angel and Sapphire to go after the ships while me and Toothless handled the Outcasts up here. They did so with Diggs firing his spines everywhere, Sapphire slicing the sails and Angle using her acid to burn holes in the hull. While they did that I had Toothless fire a plasma blast at two of the outcasts on the ground blasting them back over the cliff and into the water below. I took my swords out of Toothless' saddle before having him fly in low allowing me to hop off in front of Alvin while he kept flying. I held one of my swords at the ready while the other sword was on my back. I pointed my sword at Alvin and asked.

"What do you say Alvin? Care for a one on one fight?" He pulled out his sword.

"You're going to regret the day you crossed me boy!"

"We'll see about that Alvin."

He charged at me swinging his sword down but I ducked around him. He turned to face me and growled before he swung his sword at me again but I jumped back to avoid it. Alvin kept trying to hit me with his sword but either just dodged his strikes but what he didn't realize I was leading him to the cliffs edge. When we were close enough I smiled before ducking out of the way from another strike and getting behind him. When he took another swing at me I struck back with my Gronkle iron sword snapping his sword in two. He backed up in what I assumed was shock before I just smiled and said.

"Have a nice swim Alvin!"

I signaled Toothless to use a plasma blast in front of him which sent him flying back over the cliff into the water. I ran up to the edge to see Alvin swim up to the surface and over to the floating piece of wreckage which his second in command was holding onto. They were surrounded by the rest of his men who were also holding onto the pieces of the ship wreckages. I turned my back to pat Toothless on the head as I mounted him so we could go and take care of the remaining Outcasts.

With floating Outcasts

Alvin watched as Hiccup flew off on Toothless and began to chuckle before he said.

"That boy rides dragons!" He chuckled again. "We get that boy and we'll ride dragons!" He began chuckling again as his men soon joined in.

Back with Hiccup

Hiccups POV:

We just met up with my dad and a group of other warriors who had taken care of the Outcasts who were guarding the women and children. We landed in front of him before Ikan flew from my dad's shoulder and onto mine as my father walked up to me. My dad ran up to me and said.

"We got your message!" He then looked around. "Where's Alvin?"

"Don't worry dad! We chased them off so for now we have nothing to worry about."

"How did you do it?"

"I lured him and his men to a cliff where my dragons were waiting for us and while my dragons handled the men I handled Alvin." His eyes widened before his face went blank.

"Explain!"

Half an hour later

We were now in the great hall and I had just finished telling everyone what happened between me and the Outcasts. As I finished everyone began to cheer in celebration before my father raised his hand to silence everyone. He looked around the people and said.

"This indeed was a great victory for us today but I know Alvin well enough to know that he will be back but until then let's all retire to our homes for a well-earned rest." With that everyone began to leave but as I got up to leave my father put his hand on my shoulder to stop me.

"What is it?"

"This problem isn't going to go away Hiccup!" He sighed. "Alvin will be back for you and he won't give up until he has you training dragons for him."

"He's going to have a long wait then."

"This is no joke son! Alvin will be back and you can't take him on alone."

"I'm not alone dad. I've got my dragons and my animals to help me."

"Hiccup listen to me!" He sighed. "I know you aren't a big fan of the idea of opening up a dragon academy to teach others how to train dragons but I think it would be best." I stood up from where I was sitting.

"Not happening dad! We've been over this and besides an academy would keep me tied down to Berk when I just want to see the world."

"Hiccup it would help the village greatly against the threat of Alvin."

"I've already done my part in helping protect this village from threats by supplying gronkle iron for your weapons."

"Hiccup this is not a problem that can be solved so easily."

"I've dealt with problems bigger than this before in my life so I can handle it."

"But what if you can't Hiccup?" He fell back into his chair. "I just want to make sure you have people to help in future battles." I knew he wasn't going to let this go unless I agreed.

"Fine I'll teach others how to ride dragons." He stood up to say something. "But I will only do it as a last resort and that's final!"

"Alright Hiccup! That's all I ask."

I just nodded before I walked out the Great hall with Toothless at my side. As we took off into the night sky I couldn't help but think about what my dad said about Alvin coming back. I looked up at the night sky and knew this wasn't the end of things but the beginning of a whole new chapter of my life.

AN: Hey all I hope you enjoyed the chapter so please be kind with the reviews and if you have a problem then PM me. Also, for those of you concerned with Hiccup turning into his old self then don't worry he's not going to start the dragon academy nor is he going to provide his inventions to the village. The next chapter will however focus on the episodes with the outcasts and Berserkers but I will skip a few of them but mention them. So until next time enjoy.
