Chapter 103

I don't know how long it's been since the darkness engulfed me but all I could do was float and just exist I suppose waiting for something to happen. It was then the darkness disappeared and my vision was quickly filled with memories of my past battles against monsters from all my travels. It was when my visions reached the battle with Morgan Le Fey where I was forced to severe my own arm that things began to change. Instead of immediately burning the wound shut I let the blood flow out onto the ground forming a small puddle of blood that allowed me to see my reflection in but I still had my golden arm in the reflection. It was then as if I was pulled into the blood headfirst before it felt like I was being pulled down through a deep pool of water before I was pulled out of it. I was greeted by the sight of Odin looking down at me before he said in a voice that was not his own but sounded like that of an elderly woman.

"Fight dragon rider!" Before he turned and my vision was consumed by his hair that turned from grey to blond before I was pulled back and treated to a view of Daphne laying in a bed with a red silk sheet covering her naked lower body as she turned away only for her head to turn completely around and say in the same voice. "You are not meant to embrace death yet."

Her body was then thrown up into a void of darkness with my vision following her until darkness was the only thing I could see. When the darkness vanished I was back in the town centre of Sparta where Cronus had made his first appearance to me and I was once again repeating the moment of my defeat with the blade of Cronus's scythe imbedded in my stomach. This time however this time my father was standing behind Cronus with a brown haired women I'd never met before both looking down at me shaking their heads with as my father said in the same voice from before.

"This is not the end yet." Before darkness filled my vision once more only for my vision to clear again to see I was standing in Glacia's nest with her looking down at me as she said. "You have a destiny that has yet to be fulfilled." She then breathed a blizzard at me blinding me until it ended revealing an area full of black boulders with Toothless perched on top of one looking down at me as he said. "There are still many dragons yet to be discovered." He then let loose a plasma blast engulfing my vision in flames before I found myself in what looked to be a forest of some sort but it was hard to tell as it was covered in a thick fog before the shadows of what seemed to be people but there was something different about them as the voice said. "You have yet to show your strength to the remainder of this world." It was then the fog swirled around me as if I was in a hurricane that lifted my body off the ground before vanishing leaving me once again floating in darkness with the only form of light was what was shining down on me but it was then I found my voice and asked.

"Who are you?" It was then a giant women who was bigger than any giant or alpha class dragon I had ever seen walked into the light but the thing that caught my attention the most was how she seemed to be made out of the earth itself with moss growing under her neck, a river running down the side of her head and down her body while her hair was living trees.

"I am the titan Gaia, one of the beings who helped create Midgard and I have been watching you for a very long time Hiccup but in this war I cannot simply stand by and watch."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean I cannot allow you to die nor follow Cronus as it would result in the destruction of everything." She leaned frowned. "That is why when you saw what life Cronus was offering you I took command of your body."

"But why would you force me to act in such a way?"

"Because that is the way you would become but not by your own free will." I raised an eyebrow. "Should you join Cronus he would slowly and stealthily use his power to corrupt your very soul and turn you into the monster I forced you to act as."

"I'd rather die than become that beast you made me act as."

"Noble words Hiccup Haddock but only a coward accepts death so easily to escape pain such as the pain you shall feel when the wound you have sustained from my son starts flowing again if you turn down his offer."

"I am no coward and should I die I will use the last seconds of my life to at least try to fight your son." She smiled.

"A truly noble act Hiccup Haddock and you shall fight him once more." She then frowned. "However you cannot defeat my son so easily with the sword that was gifted to you the way it is now."

"What do you mean Gaia?"

"Allow me to see it and I shall give it the power and capabilities you shall need to defeat my son and free not only Greece but the world from his grip." Before I could reply my prosthetic opened up itself and released my star sword that floated away from me and up to Gaia who looked down at it while the blade unsheathed itself from the hilt. "When I am done this blade will have new abilities that shall aid you not just in this battle but those that have yet to come." She then cupped the blade between her two hands and closed her eyes before a white light shined through the cracks of her fingers for a few seconds before it died out and Gaia opened up her hands smiling. "It is done."

My sword floated back down towards me but it was not the same sword I had forged from a star as it had gone through many changes in both shape and form of power. For example the blade was once straight but now it had taken the form of a leaf blade with a light green tint to it that was almost white in colour along with a star engraved at the top of the blade but the star was white and looked as if it were made from a smoothed out diamond. The hilt had also gone through some changes since it now had two vines wrapping around it leading up to a single glowing green gem imbedded in the pommel facing away from the blade. I slowly took the blade by the hilt and immediately felt power surge from the blade and into my body making me feel as if I was invincible. I looked up at Gaia as she smiled down at me and said.

"I have altered your sword and given it my blessing which in turn has given it new powers that you will discover once I have sent you back to the mortal realm."

"Thank you Gaia but what about Cronus's ability to freeze me in time?"

"Worry not about ability Hiccup for the stone in the pommel of your sword is a fragment of the Kronos stone and with its power my sons power over time shall have no effect on you."

"The Cronus stone?"

"A tale for another time Hiccup for now I must send you back to your body and once you return I shall heal your wound but it will be painful as it heals and it shall leave a scar." I smiled at her.

"Well it's only fun if you get a scar out of it." She smiled.

"Good luck Hiccup Haddock and remember when all hope for you seems lost slam your hands to the ground and embrace the power of the land you wish to protect!"

She then stepped back into the darkness before light blinded me as my stomach began burning while I screamed in pain. I was able to keep my eyes open long enough to see the pain was the hole in my body sealing shut and basically burning closed leaving a long scar. I smiled at the sight thinking how it was just another way to impress the ladies back in the archipelago as they did love a man with battle scars. I looked around and saw I was in a room that was pretty luxurious with a window shining light onto my face, a large bed with white silk sheets that I was lying on, a wooden side table with a bowl of fruit to my left and an identical one to my right with a clay jug of water and cup, across from the bed was an armour stand that my armour was resting on. I slowly stood up and gripped my stomach where the scar was and grit my teeth in pain before I let out a sigh of relief as I stood up while looking around the room once more. I put my armour on before I walked up to the door and silently tried to open it only to find it locked but that was expected with Cronus since he was trying to hold me prisoner. It was then the sound of scraping metal behind me caught my attention and turned to see Bubo flying through the window and land on the bed before he projected a message onto the wall which read.

Dear Hiccup

We are glad to see Gaia was able to save you and we are so sorry that you were killed fighting for us but we hope we can make it up to you. For now though we've sent bubo to deliver the complete chest that shall allow you to capture and defeat Cronus but be careful since we don't wish to see you lose your life again. Also we advise you to keep Bubo with you since we've seen something Cronus has up his sleeve to deal with you and trust us you're going to need him to help you out with it. Anyway he'll only release the chest when you confront Cronus for your battle and in order to activate it all you'll have to do is cut Cronus in some part with your star sword and the chest will do the rest. Bubo also has other things but those are things you shall have to wait to unlock and remember we have faith in you Hiccup Haddock.

Signed

The Gods of Mount Olympus

I looked at Bubo with wide eyes and said.

"I really need to check you out more often." He just flew onto my shoulder and let out a chirp. "Well time to get out of here."

I released my sword and examined it while wondering what new powers it had been granted by Gaia but knew I'd have to find out later since the longer I waited the more people suffered under Cronus's forces. I walked up to the door to use my star sword and cut the hinges off and pulled the door back into the room before resting it against the wall. I stepped through and found myself standing in a large hallway but I didn't get the chance to check it out before a minotaur began approaching me from both sides. They both took one look at me and roared before charging at me. I knew that either way I went I'd run right into a minotaur but I knew what I could do and waited till they were only a few feet away from me before I quickly stepped back into the room. I watched as the minotaur ran into each other making one walk backwards dazed while the other just shook its head and turned to glare at me. It charged at me as I ran at it but just as it raised its axe to strike me I dove to the ground and through its legs barely avoiding the axe as it hit the ground while Bubo hovered in front of its head. I quickly stood up and turned back to face the minotaur which was pulling its axe out of the ground but I didn't give it a chance to turn around and quickly stabbed my sword into its back through the heart before quickly withdrawing my blade from the beast as it dropped dead to the ground.

I quickly turned back to the remaining minotaur that was now out of its daze and glaring at me while tightly gripping its axe. It charged at me with its axe raised but when it brought the axe down I stepped back allowing it to imbed itself into the floor before I quickly cut off the handle above the minotaur's grip preventing the beast from pulling the axe out of the ground. The beast immediately tossed the handle in its hand to the side leaned forward to grab the part of the handle that was still connected to the blade. When it leaned down however I took the opportunity to use the axe to boost myself up allowing me to jump up over the minotaur and land on its back making it stumble forward and fall onto the axe blade impaling itself on it ending its life. I smiled at the bodies while Bubo came to land on my shoulder as I said.

"That takes care of those two." I looked around the hall for any more opponents but saw none but I didn't let my guard down as I turned to Bubo. "I don't suppose you know where Cronus is?" Bubo just flew off my shoulder and took off down the hall with me following behind.

I followed Bubo down the halls that seemed to feel more and more like a labyrinth then simple halls before we turned into a large corridor where two warriors wearing Cronus's armour and armed with spears were standing in front of a door. They both turned to face me at the sound of my footsteps before they charged at me as I got ready to fight them but knew I couldn't risk hurting them since they were under mind-control. It was then I dodged to the side avoiding a stab from a spear and grabbed the handle and pulled the guard towards me and slammed my fist into his stomach sending him stumbling back. I then quickly stepped to the side avoiding a strike from the other before bringing my sword down on the spears staff so hard that not only did I slice through the spear but I also made a cut into the floor leaving a large slash in the marble. The guard then pulled out his knife ready to continue fighting me but before he could much to my shock, wooden vines sprouted from the slash in the marble and quickly grew while wrapping around the guard leaving him struggling against them as they hardened into petrified wood leaving the guard unable to move. I didn't get much time to think about it however since the other guard had recovered from my punch and charged at me but when he reached me I crouched down and shouldered him in the gut before lifting him up and throwing him over my shoulder into the wall knocking him out. I smiled at his unconscious form before turning to the door that they were guarding as Bubo continuously hovered in front of it. I sighed and shrugged before walking up to the door as I said.

"Well those guards were clearly guarding something important so might as well see what it is." I cut through the wooden plank that was in front of the door keeping it locked before pushing it open with my blade only to find a well-muscled man with a short beard, short hear, wearing armour I recognised as Spartan glaring at me in battle stance with his fists ready as he said.

"If you've come to try and convince me of joining Cronus then don't waste your time and inform your master that I'd rather burn in Tartarus then willingly join the monster that enslaved my brothers and destroyed my city." I lowered my sword as I stared at him.

"I'm not with Cronus and by the sounds of things neither are you." I could see the in his eyes that he didn't trust me. "My name is Heracles and I'm here to stop Cronus and free Greece from his reign of terror." He lowered his arms and stared at me looking me up and down.

"So you're the fabled Heracles who is said to have slain some of Greece's most horrific beasts and said to be the son of Zeus."

"I'm not the son of Zeus but I have slayed some Greek beasts." He smirked.

"I see the tails of you wearing the pelt of the Nemea lion ring true."

"Yes they are but we'll have to go over that later since for now Cronus needs to be stopped and I could really use your help." He stood to attention and slammed his fist to his chest.

"For Sparta and Greece I'd gladly sacrifice my life." He smiled. "I'll do everything I can to help you defeat Cronus Heracles." I smiled and nodded.

"Thank you but we're first going to need to find you weapons Mr."

"I am Leonidas, warrior king of Sparta!" I bowed to him in respect since I'd heard tails of his previous battles.

"It's an honour your majesty."

"Please Heracles the honour is all mine as the tails of your heroics are truly nothing short of legendary." Before I could reply Bubo flew between us. "What is this strange creature?"

"That's my automaton of Athena's owl Bubo who was gifted to me by the gods." It was then Bubo's body opened up releasing a bright light before a small disc floated out of his body which quickly expanded into a bronze coloured shield I recognised as Spartan while Bubo's body closed up.

"What in the world is this."

"My guess is it's a gift to you from the gods to help us in the fight that's to come." He nodded as he picked up the shield and removed a gleaming white spartan sword with a bronze coloured handle that was sheathed inside it before an orange glow engulfed him making him drop to his knees but it quickly faded as he breathed heavily while I kneeled down to check him.

"Are you alright?" He nodded as he looked at me with a fierce smile that made me glad he was on my side.

"I feel as if the strength of all my fallen Spartan brothers is flowing through my body like a raging fire." I smiled.

"I like that attitude but save the fight for Cronus and his monsters since we're going to need it but remember not to kill any of the humans or griffins since they're under the control of Cronus's power." He nodded and looked down.

"I know as when Cronus claimed Sparta he forced me to watch as he enslaved my people." I looked down.

"I'm sorry to hear that." Leonidas looked up at me. "Knowing Cronus he might've done the same to you."

"He tried to force his control onto my dragons and griffin but they had the magic of other gods protecting them however I'm not sure how long the protection lasted under the constant force of his power." He stared at me.

"Did you say, your dragons?" It was then I realized he didn't know about them so I answered.

"Yes I did however they're not monsters but my companions but we'll have to talk about how they became my companions later since every second we waist Cronus's forces grow more powerful." He nodded before we left with Bubo leading us.

Half an hour later

It's been half an hour since I met Leonidas and in that short amount of time a lot has happened besides us talking while following Bubo we had a run in with a few of Cronus's monsters which were mainly minotaur's and undead legionaries. They didn't take that long to deal with though and when I saw Leonidas fight for the first time I understood the true meaning of Spartan's battle fury and why the Spartans were so feared in Greece. Aside from this I had also learnt a few more of my swords powers and to say I was impressed would be a major understatement. I learnt that if I slashed a surface with my sword the roots would sprout up and become petrified if someone got too close to them but I could take it farther if I focused and left the tip of my blade in the surface. When I did this a green glowing crack came from the ground and I could make it spread in different directions for at most fifteen feet before it stopped while anyone who stepped on or near the crack was quickly restrained by the roots that turned from simple roots into petrified roots holding them in place.

This in my opinion was only the second most impressive thing my new sword could do as I learnt of an incredible power it had when a minotaur got the drop on me when we entered a small garden. The beast was able to knock my sword out of my hand but luckily Leonidas was able to kill it while I went for my sword that had plunged itself into the ground a few feet away. When I grabbed onto it the two vines around the handle came to life and wrapped around my wrists before two arms made of earth and stone that were big enough to hold a fully grown gronkle in the palm of just one hand, burst from the ground at my sides. I quickly learned they mimicked whatever my arms were doing and this helped a lot in battle. I was able to use these arms to easily swat the beasts to the sides and was even able to use both of them to lift up a giant and then throw him back into a cyclops sending them both flying back crushing some of the beasts behind them. Leonidas's weapons also had a bit of power to them since when he slammed his shield into a minotaur it was thrown back ten feet and when he slashed his sword into a giants leg it cut through cleanly as if it were made of paper. From the look of glee on his face I could tell he liked his new weapons and the killing off Cronus's forces.

Besides that we'd also met up with another comrade thanks to Bubo leading us to the door but this comrade was someone I knew and trusted. This person was none other than the queen of the Amazons Hippolyta who was being guarded by two of her own Amazon warriors under Cronus's control. She like Leonidas had been forced to watch as her people were enslaved after she refused to join Cronus willingly. Like before Bubo opened up and gave her a gift from the gods in the form of a white spear that was also rather powerful with its ability to fire owls of light that were sharp as arrows and stab into beasts as if they were except they went right through them. Along with that it came in handy for blocking strikes from swords and axes with the staff seeming to be unbreakable plus when she stabbed something with the head it went in easily as if the beasts were made of paper. Long story short every beast we fought was slaughtered in a matter of seconds while Bubo lead us to who knows where but I trusted him after he lead me to Leonidas and Hippolyta.

Presently we had come to a large door guarded by two giants holding metal maces but Hippolyta had made short work of them with a single blast to each head with her spear. With them out of the way we made our way to the doors as Bubo came to land on my shoulder but before we entered I turned to face Leonidas and Hippolyta as I said.

"Alright chances are this might be where Cronus is now so I'm going to need you both to keep the furies busy while I deal with Cronus." They both nodded. "Before we go in I'd just like to say if I die in battle I can think of no better death than to die fighting alongside true warriors like the two of you." They both smiled before Hippolyta replied.

"I think I speak for the both of us when I say the feeling is mutual Heracles." I smiled at her before turning back to the door.

"Now let's end this war once and for all and bring an end to both Cronus and his reign of terror."

They both yelled in confirmation before I kicked the door open and charged in with both Leonidas and Hippolyta at my sides. I took a quick look around and saw the throne room to look exactly as it did in the visions Cronus forced me to view except the wall wasn't decorated with weapons of fallen gods nor reliefs depicting major battles. Despite this the thing that caught my eye the most was Cronus who was sitting there on his throne with the two remaining furies at his sides while he sat there smirking at me which only made my blood boil. He chuckled while he looked at us before he slowly clapped his hands as he said.

"Bravo to the three of you, I'm genuinely impressed with how well the three of you have dealt with my forces in my home but the thing that impresses me the most is how you were able to break out of my illusion Heracles." I just glared at him and pointed my sword towards him.

"I had some help." He looked at my sword and frowned.

"It seems you did have help from none other than my own mother but in order for her to be able to penetrate the illusion you'd have needed to show resistance to my power." He then smirked. "Such a resistance is impressive and now I see where your dragons and griffin get it from." I resisted the urge to charge at him but Hippolyta placing a hand on my shoulder stopped me and calmed me down.

"What did you do to them?" He chuckled.

"Oh, you would've been so proud of the resistance they showed Heracles as it was far more than just the magic of those foreign gods that stopped me from asserting full control over them but also their loyalty and love for you that stopped my power." He then gave a smirk that actually succeeded in sending a shiver up my spine. "Despite their strong and noble resistance they only succeeded in delaying the inevitable."

He snapped his fingers before the sound of roars echoed through the room before black blurs flew into the room through the window behind his throne and came to land in front of Cronus's throne. When I saw what these blurs were I felt as if my heart had been ripped out since standing there and glaring at me were my dragons and Plutarach. They were all wearing black armour with red lining. Despite this the thing that made me sick to my stomach were that all their eyes were glowing red while the chest plates had the symbol of Cronus inscribed onto them. Seeing that symbol on my dragons and griffin made me feel as if I was going to throw up but the thing that really got me was how they were all standing at the ready to defend Cronus with Toothless standing right at Cronus's front like a loyal dog. Cronus chuckled as he stood up from his throne and walked up next to Toothless and said.

"Your little pets make excellent guard animals Heracles." He then pointed to Toothless. "Especially your nightfury, he's quite an impressive beast with a strong will since he was able to hold out against my power." He then placed his hand on Toothless' head and began petting him while he purred making my blood boil. "Now he's nothing more than my loyal guard." He then smirked at me. "To be honest I think I'll keep him at my side as my own personal guard and pet." Toothless crooned in a way that I knew meant he liked the sound of something but right now the sound of Toothless liking what Cronus was planning to do with him just made my hatred for Cronus grow.

"Get you're filthy hands off my dragon you repulsive beast of man." My dragons growled at me and looked ready to fire while Plutarch spread his wings and screeched until Cronus held up his hands.

"Now, now my pets your former master has a right to his own opinion no matter how insulting it is or how much it shall cost him." He then sat back down on his throne and looked at us. "Kill them!"

As soon as the orders left his lips my dragons each let out a blast straight towards us but before their blasts could hit us I held up my eagle shields while Leonidas held up his own shield as Hippolyta got behind us leaving all of us unharmed. When the smoke from the combined blast cleared we all stood up unharmed but all Cronus did was quirk an eyebrow before he snapped his fingers and my dragons and Plutarach charged at us. We all got ready to fight but before we could even react Bubo flew off my shoulder faster than I thought possible and began to glow. I figured he was going to pull the same stunt he did when I was in Arabia and he restrained Toothless when he was told to kill me in his shadow fury form. (AN: Re-read chapter 53 if you don't remember.) Instead however he flew above them and this time his wings shot open launching multiple feathers into the ground surrounding them forming a circle around them while also making them stop in confusion as Bubo landed in the middle of both the circle and them. Once he landed his body extended from poles inside making his head rise above my dragons while the feathers stuck on the pole stood out and began rapidly spinning as Bubo's head looked up and let out a screech that reminded me of a banshee before a blue transparent energy flowed from beneath his head and met with the feathers forming a dome. Toothless charged at the dome and was immediately thrown back on contact while my other dragons tried the same only to get the same results while all I could say was. While they did this Bubo raised his head and opened up his beak before releasing what looked to be a small palm sized chest that just stood there. I stared at my now trapped dragons and all I could say was.

"Hephaestus really did create an incredible piece of work when he made that owl." I then turned to Cronus who was chuckling before he said.

"I have to admit I didn't see this coming and I can't deny that grandson of mine does some amazing work." He then smirked. "I think I'll spare him and then enslave him so I can force him to make weapons and automatons for my army." I glared at him.

"Do you really think I'll allow you to conquer the land or keep those you've already enslaved under your control." He just sighed.

"You're beginning to annoy me boy." He then stood up. "Alecto, Tisiphone dispose of the Spartan and the Amazon but leave Heracles to me." They both replied simultaneously.

"YES LORD CRONUS!" They then charged at them with Alecto attacking Hippolyta while Tisiphone attacked Leonidas knocking them both back asLeonidas said.

"Go take Cronus down Heracles!" He pushed Tisiphone back. "We'll handle the furies." I nodded and turned back to Cronus who was walking towards me.

"Let's get this over fast."

His eyes then glowed as an energy surrounded me that I recognised as him trying to freeze me in time while he released his scythe. I decided to pretend to be frozen so I could surprise him and I knew he didn't suspect anything since when he reached me he stared at my face for a few seconds and sighed. He shook his head as he lowered it before he looked back up and said.

"I was hoping you learnt something from our last fight Hiccup but clearly I overestimated you." He then raised his scythe. "Never the less I can't allow you to live but I'll make it quick." It was then he brought his scythe down towards my head but I quickly held my sword up stopping it as I smirked at his shocked expression.

"Did you honestly think your mother wouldn't give me a protection against your ability to manipulate time?"

"But how did she-" He then saw the pommel of my blade and growled. "The Cronus Stone!"

"That's right and with its power your time manipulation has absolutely no effect on me." He glared at me before he smirked.

"Well if that's the case let's take this outside."

Before I could react he punched me in the gut and lifted me over his shoulder before throwing me out the window behind his throne. I didn't feel myself go flying since the air was knocked out of me but what I did feel was the punch which felt as if somebody had rammed a metal headed battering ram into my stomach and I could also hear and feel my armour shatter on contact. When I landed I felt the grass against my now bare torso as I tumbled across the ground. I stood on all fours as I slowly got up and coughed up some of my own blood while trying to regain my strength while looking down at my torso to judge how bad the damage to my armour was. I learnt that my assumption that the chest part of the front had been shattered was right but it wasn't just that part that was destroyed but the entire front of it leaving only the sleeves and the back all of which were ready to fall off my body completely. I looked down and smiled slightly seeing my star sword still grasped in the palm of my prosthetic hand but I frowned when I heard chuckling the sound of chuckling coming from in front of me. I looked to see Cronus floating down from the window as he looked down at me and said.

"I admit you've impressed me Hiccup Haddock as most mortals would've been killed on impact from my punch." I just glared at him. "Still you fail to understand compared to me you are nothing more than an annoying little insect." A dark smile then came to his face. "In fact that gives me an idea on how to dispose of you." He then kicked me in the side of my arm making me fall to the ground on my belly before he began to laugh like a maniac and grow until he was three times bigger than the largest giant I had faced. "Since to me you're nothing more than an annoying bug I'm going to step on you like one." He then raised his foot and began bringing it down as I shut my eyes and prepared for death while mentally apologizing to all those I knew for failing them until I heard Gaia's voice whisper to me.

"Embrace the power of the land and those you wish to protect."

It was then I remembered what Gaia told me to do if all hope seemed lost and slammed my hands into the ground with my sword imbedding itself up to the hilt. Nothing happened as Cronus's foot closed in on me I got ready to die until I felt something wrap around my real arm and looked to see vines wrapping around it. When I saw this multiple new vines burst from the ground and wrapped up over my body pulling me down to the ground in some sort of cocoon. I felt myself then be pulled right into the ground as if a sand buster was dragging me into its den again but I felt energy pulsing through me and it all felt so warm. I felt as if I was being embraced by some form of power before there was a blinding white light.

Nobodies POV:

Cronus crushed the land where Hiccup Haddock once lay and laughed like a mad man until the ground beneath him glowed a magnificent green. He stared at it for a few seconds before it burst open throwing him back to the ground as a giant made of earth and stone rose out from the ground. This giant reached the same height as Cronus did, its right arm was mad completely of stone and held a large sword, possessed glowing green eyes and had the body that resembled a well-muscled man wearing a loincloth, a bald head and the face of none other than Hiccup Haddock with an emotionless expression. It was then the small chest that rested on Bubo's beak glowed a shining gold and flew out through the window as it grew to the size where it would have no trouble holding a man of Gobber's size. It flew through the air towards the newly formed earth giant before imbedding itself into the earth that made up the chest of the giant. Only after was it imbedded up to the lid did the chest lose its golden glow and stop any form of movement.

Hiccups POV:

I had been completely stripped of what remained of my armour and was now in what looked to be a shining white dome around me with vines wrapped around both my arms and legs as I stared at a large window in front of me. I raised my hand to examine the vines only to hear a rumbling sound and looked at the window to see a handmade of earth raise to the window. I quickly dropped my hand in shock at this before I saw the hand do the same this got me thinking. I raised my hand again and saw the stone hand do the same before I wiggled my fingers and saw the large hand do the same and realised I was in control the hand with my movements. I raised my prosthetic still gripping my sword and saw an arm made of stone holding a copy of my sword that was only giant. It was then Cronus came into view growling as I lowered my sword while he looked at me and growled before he said.

"I see you still had one trick up your sleeve boy but all you've done is make me angry and delayed your inevitable death." His scythe reappeared in his hand and he stood there glaring at me but I knew what to do now that realized I had control over a new body that was just as big as him.

Nobodies POV:

The two giants glared at each other both ready for a fight that would bring the titan wars to the minds of those who viewed it and the damage left from this battle would no doubt be immense. It mattered to neither of the two giants as the only thing they cared about was defeating the opponent they now faced. It was at that moment Cronus charged at the earth giant that was controlled by Hiccup with his scythe raised high and ready to be brought down on his enemy. Hiccup made the giant charge at Cronus in return with his sword ready and as he met with Cronus he swung it upwards to meet Cronus's scythe. Sparks flew from the blades meeting as the two giants fought each other against their opponents strength to try and gain the upper hand. In the end Hiccup used the close proximity to kick Cronus in the stomach sending him stumbling back into the palace wrecking a side of the wall. Cronus then chuckled and said.

"Clever move, for a mortal." He then charged in again slashing his scythe from the left side making Hiccup jump back to avoid the strike. "You would've made an excellent general for my army and had a wonderful life of luxury but now I shall ensure you spend the rest of eternity in solitary confinement in Tartarus."

Hiccup just ignored his words and slashed at Cronus with his sword making Cronus block it with the pole of his scythe being held with one hand before using his free hand to punch Hiccup in the stomach. This in turn made Hiccup stumble back while leaning down and grasping his stomach. Cronus ran at him with his scythe raised to strike the final blow but Hiccup jumped forward shouldering Cronus in the stomach before using the force lift Cronus up and throw him over his shoulder. The earth below shook as Cronus's body slammed down onto the ground while he let out a groan. Hiccup quickly turned around with his sword raised to deliver the final blow but as his sword came down Cronus held up his scythe with a hand on either side of the pole and blocked the blade with the pole. Hiccup struggled to push the sword down but Cronus slid his pole down to the where the swords blade met the hilt and forced Hiccup to point the blade away from him before it slammed into the ground due to the momentum. Cronus then took the opportunity to push Hiccups lowered torso back making him stumble back and trip on the ground sending him falling down to the ground. Cronus quickly got up and ran over to the giant made of earth and placed his foot on its chest pinning it to the ground as he raised his Scythe while saying.

"AND NOW YOU DIE!"

Before he could deliver the final blow Hiccup raised his right knee and thrust it forward striking Cronus right between the legs making him step off his chest while dropping his scythe. He quickly grabbed between his legs with both hands before he kneeled down towards Hiccup while he pulled his legs in front of his chest facing Cronus before he thrust them forward throwing Cronus back. Hiccup quickly stood up and ran at Cronus who now lay on the ground trying to recover as Hiccup approached with his sword ready. Before he delivered the final blow against his foe Cronus said one last phrase.

"That was a dirty tactic and low blow mortal!"

Those were the last words he said before Hiccup stabbed his sword into Cronus's stomach through the red gem that kept the gods at bay before the flesh surrounding the bladeturned to burning lava rock. Hiccup dragged blade up to his chest through the heart turning the skin surrounding the blade into the same lava rock as the first bit of skin. Hiccup withdrew the blade allowing a bright light shone through the opening of the cut before the cut widened as pieces of the skin turned lava rock flew off and flowed into the golden chest that had imbedded itself in the earth that made up the earth giants chest. As this was happening Hiccup used his sword to cut the remaining parts of Cronus that hadn't been affected by the first in order to speed up his demise. In mere seconds the mighty titan Cronus was defeated and imprisoned within the golden chest where he would remain for all eternity. The earth giant dropped to its knees and slowly crumbled apart with its body returning to the earth which it was created from while a large, glowing white orb that was imbedded in the head slowly came to gently land on the ground with the golden chest holding the remains of the mighty titan Cronus came to land in front of it. The orb slowly dissipated to reveal Hiccup Haddock standing there in nothing but shorts with his arms spread out breathing heavily. He let out a deep sigh as a smile graced his lips as he dropped to his knees and said.

"Victory!"

Before he collapsed to the ground unconscious as a bright light shone down upon him from the skies as the gods descended from the heavens to help him. Athena with Kampe at her side looked down at Hiccups downed form and smiled before kneeling down and gently stroking his cheek while saying.

"You truly are a champion above mortals Hiccup Haddock." She stood up and turned to Kampe. "Go and collect the furies and them in cells in Tartarus next to their sister." Kampe bowed before turning around to fulfil her orders as Athena turned to Apollo. "Check Hiccup to see if he shall be alright." He bowed.

"With pleasure my queen."

He then rushed over to Hiccup as multiple roars from the palace echoed in the area making all the gods turn to see Hiccups dragons flying out of the palace looking around for any clue as to where Hiccup was. Toothless was the first to lay eyes upon the gods and immediately ran towards them with the other dragons along with Plutarach and Bubo following them. Toothless immediately ran up to his downed rider who was being examined by Apollo. He gently nudged his rider who didn't move a muscle making him croon as the other dragons surrounded him and Apollo while looking at Hiccup in concern. Apollo just smiled and patted his muzzle as he said.

"No need to worry, your rider just used up a lot of his energy and sustained multiple broken ribs but he shall just need time to recover from his battle with Cronus." Athena turned to him.

"Take him to mount Olympus to recover as he has more than earned the right to rest with us watching over him." He bowed and picked Hiccup up making the dragons growl but Athena raised her hands. "Calm yourself as we shall not harm him and once he is fully recovered we shall return him to you but for now please trust us and allow him the rest he deserves after such a battle." They just growled and nodded as Apollo picked up Hiccups unmoving form before turning into a ball of light and taking off into the air. "He shall return when he recovers." It was then the sound of footsteps from behind them got their attention before the gods turned to see Hippolyta and Leonidas running towards them weapons in hand but when they saw who the gods were they both immediatley dropped to their knees bowing before Hippolyta said.

"Oh great gods, you honor us with your presence." Athena walked up.

"Arise the both of you for you have more than earned the right to stand in our presence for without your aid in fighting the furies Heracles might not have been able to stop Cronus." Leonidas replied.

"It was our pleasure to aid him and truly an honor to fight alongside such a noble and incredible warrior." He then looked around. "If I may ask where is Heracles?"

"He is now recovering upon mount Olympus after being drained of his energy and has multiple broken ribs from his fight with Cronus." Hippolyta then asked.

"Will he be alright?"

"According to Apollo he shall need some rest, which is why I ordered him to be taken to Mount Olympus in order to recover."

"But what about his dragons and griffin?"

"They shall remain here while he recovers and we are trusting you both to make sure your people do not harm the dragons or the griffins while also explaining to your now free people what's happened."

"It shall be done Lady Athena." With that the gods all turned into balls of golden light and took off into the sky to return to their home a top Mount Olympus.
