Chapter 146

Nobodies POV:

Shortly after Hiccup and Blanca left the Great Hall it erupted into complete and utter chaos with everyone talking to each other about what they thought of Hiccups latest adventure. There were men saying his new wife may have been a snake but she was also quite a beauty and how lucky Hiccup was to get such a gorgeous girl who from what they could tell was also a skilled warrior. Sadly, for some of the men who spoke about what a fine figure Blanca had and how they'd love to see it without her clothes blocking it were punched in the faces by their wives or girlfriends. The majority of the tribe's people who had watched Hiccup grow up were all happy to see the lad had found someone who he could share his life with. The rest of the people who were parents of Hiccups female fans however were very busy comforting their daughters who had their eyes on Hiccup since he first returned the village but whenever they tried he'd throw their past actions back in their faces. The one having the most trouble however were the parents of Ruffnut who were doing everything they could to hold back their daughter who'd come out of her state of shock that Hiccup was married to a snake. She kept yelling.

"THAT SLIMY SNAKE STOLE MY FUTURE HUSBAND FROM ME!"

As they held her back from going after Blanca to end her and making plans on hiding all the weapons in their hose from her until she calmed down which knowing her would be in a few weeks. Snotlout didn't notice however as he was looking down at his lap while muttering how Hiccups had all the luck when it came to life and how it was so unfair. Astrid wasn't as violent but she was angry knowing that her chances of a relationship with Hiccup were officially destroyed but like always she wouldn't admit it and left to go train in the forest with her axe to calm down. Tuffnut just sat down staring at his reflection in a polished mirror trying to draw on new eyebrows due to Hiccup burning off his own with his fire breath, which he thought was awesome. Fishlegs on the other hand was smiling, happy that Hiccup was finally able to find a girl who he could share his life with knowing how hard it was for Hiccup to find a girl who liked him for him. He wasn't the only male who was happy however since more than a few of the single men were happy since none of them could get a date with so many of the girls focused on winning Hiccups affection. Now with Hiccup married they'd have a chance at them and in the shallower cases they saw a big opening with the girls heartbroken they'd be looking for comfort and they'd be there to do it while using the opportunity to get with the girls.

While everyone was discussing Hiccups new relationship status as a married man and how it affected the village Stoick was speaking with Gobber and Valka. The subject of their conversation was what they were going to do when the chiefs arrived with their heirs and bridal candidates since it was highly unlikely they'd be too happy. Stoick knew from past meetings with the chiefs that wasting their time was not a good idea and chances are, when they find out the position they came all this way to in the hopes of filling it with a member of their tribe was already filled they'd be furious. How they were going to deal with these chiefs they did not know but they had a week to prepare for their arrival and hopefully come up with an idea to prevent war from breaking out.

1 week later

Hiccups POV:

It's been a week since I introduced Blanca to the tribe and in that time, things have been nothing but busy for both the tribe and me but for different reasons. I'd spent my time trying to calm my nerves through time in the forge forging items, riding my chariot, flying Toothless and spending time with my wife. During my time in the forge I'd also been designing some a new type of automaton for working in the mine on Dragon Island and another for transporting the gems that were dug out. Of course, I'd also been making some new Scouter automatons since I wanted to be able to keep an eye on the visiting chiefs and their heirs since I had the feeling things would be difficult, especially with the Grown Hills tribe members returning. Besides them my dad had been giving me an idea of the kind of tribes I'd be dealing with along with who ran them, who their heirs were and what they're like. Aside from Dagur and Mala who I invited knowing I needed all the help I could get with these visiting chiefs and the Grown Hills tribe there'd be six others visiting.

To begin with there's the Wave Breakers tribe lead by chief Bassmouth the loud and his heir who was named Levi Theodore Horriganbak. The Wave Breakers are a tribe that travels the oceans never staying on an island for more than a month and they specialize in charts, fishing & making strong ships so in other words nomads of the sea. According to my dad their chief Bassmouth is a man who could rival a thunderdrum hatchling with how loud he yells, is very short-tempered and slightly stupid. I was warned that the man cannot keep a secret to save his life, but he makes up for this by being a leader who puts his people above all else. Apparently, he also lost his right arm when a shark tried to attack one of the children of his tribe; he always says that it is a small price to pay for one of his people.

There's the Stone Cutter tribe and they made their name in sculpting statues and other pieces of art and with their stone work being so hard their muscles grew to the point that it earned them a reputation as one of the most muscular Viking tribes. Fortunately, they believed in only attacking if provoked which is the last thing I wanted to do when it comes to them if they're so strong. They're led by their chief Grant the hard headed, my dad told me he can always be seen carrying or pulling stones for his tribe to carve or sculpt, he's also a gentle giant around his people and mostly prefers the hands-on approach. He doesn't speak much but when he does it means either big trouble or something major is happening. Apparently, he's earned his name 'Grant the Hard Headed' because when he gets frustrated he bashes his head against boulders often breaking them.

One tribe I actually worried about is the Bone Crusher tribe since they are the one tribe that has ever been able to rival the Berserker tribe in insanity. This didn't earn them their name though; they made their name because of their habit of using bones from animals and fallen foes as part of their armor. Because of this it's no surprise their symbol is the Bonenapper dragon, which is where, their ancestors got the idea for their habit. Their leader is Chieftess Marrow the Vain who I was told has violent tendencys with peaceful approach so basically a mixture between the old Dagur and Heather. It's been said that she lives for a good fight but she also knows there is a time and place to fight. She could normally be picked out of a crowd from the skull she wears on top of her head, this skull was that of her dead husband who cheated on her with a bar maid leading to her literally de-boning him.

There's Storm Tamer tribe, a very unique tribe who study storms so they can try to incorporate the patterns storms use when they happen. According to my dad they also have a habit of trying to predict the weather and then attacking their enemies during the heaviest part of the storms. Chief Gilford the Iron Mace led this tribe and from what I've been told he sounds like a pretty arrogant man. The reason I believe he's an arrogant man is he's so full of himself that he dares to challenge the gods by trying to tame the very sky and force his will upon it. Despite this he does care for his tribe and is willing to put his goals on hold if there is trouble with his tribe. What sets him apart from the other chiefs is how he can usually be seen with his iron mace in hand yelling to the sky that he will be its master.

There's also the Moon Cutter tribe, which was a tribe I had to admit was a bit strange since they were pretty much nocturnal and make their homes underground where they sleep until the moon rises. What they specialize in is mostly studies of the stars, hunting mysterious animals and bounty hunting. Their leader is Chieftess Luna the cunning who's said to be a mysterious woman who keeps her face wrapped in a shroud and uses her mind to manipulate almost any situation so long as it benefits her tribe. It was this that in my opinion made her one of the most dangerous chiefs around since the mind can be a very powerful weapon. As for why she wears her shroud, some among her tribe whisper that under her shroud she is gorgeous while others say she is hideous but she's the only one who actually knows along with why she wears it to begin with.

The final tribe my dad told me about is the Spearwing Tribe, they're tribe is renowned for their hunting skills and were said to be among the best hunters in the archipelago lead by Chief Lokiroht. My dad explained that their tribe's most outstanding tradition is game hunting in which they capture animals and bring them to their island where they release the animals into a fenced in section of forest where they are hunted for sport. After killing the animals, the tribe uses every part of them for their daily needs, while some merely have the animals stuffed for trophies. Chief Lokiroht wears fine animal pelts under his armor, which he got from animals he claims he hunted himself and brought down alone. The thing that worried me though is that my dad warned me that he loves to collect the most exotic and rare animals because to him they are a symbol of power and wealth. In the past if another tribe had such rare creatures he first tries to buy them and if they refuse then he's not unwilling to steal the animals and bring them back to either hunt or just have them skinned. My parents warned me that he'd no doubt take an interest in my island and the animals I have on it so I had to keep my guard up around him and those he brought with him.

The reason my parents decided on these tribes is because it's been years since our tribes last talked and lately my dad's been receiving messages from them asking about the tales the traders have told them about my adventures. In order to try and keep these chiefs and their people happy when they got here and to avoid a full out war from breaking out for bringing them here for nothing I'd been kept busy with my dad come up with ideas to calm them. I ended up needing to go back to Arabia to find some of the best traders around with the best merchandise and convince them to come to the bazaar on my island. The plan was to open the bazaar on the day they all arrived allowing the chiefs and their people an opportunity to buy new things from a foreign land, which I'm hoping will make them feel their trip wasn't for nothing. Along with this I'd been working in the forge making gifts for the visiting chiefs, which would hopefully calm them down enough to listen to us.

Now the Bazaar was all set up with the traders ready with only their finest merchandise on display for sale with a few performers out ready to perform for the people. I was sitting on my throne in the Great Hall next to my dad who was sitting on his own throne with my mom sitting on her throne next to my dad. Sitting proudly at my side was Amr with his eyes on the door while he stood ready to attack incase things got out of hand and I needed him to let loose some of his black flames. The reason I chose Amr is my other animals would draw too much attention, appear too threatening or just not be that affective if we were attacked. I knew that he might catch a few looks but I doubt anyone would realize his true power until he unleashed it although I hoped it wouldn't come to that. I would've had Toothless at my side by my dad recommended we leave the dragons out of the meeting since they could be seen as a sign of aggression which is the last thing we wanted so they were out in the forest. As for Blanca, I feared the chiefs would be angry that I was already married and try to take their anger out on her so she was back on the island with the other snake guardians for her own protection. Other precautions I took incase things went bad was I had my ninjas hide in the shadows and my entire arsenal of god made weapons in my prosthetic with my demon weapons in my spider pack and a bag of Damens teeth on my belt. I just hoped they wouldn't be needed since the last thing I wanted was any unnecessary bloodshed because of me.

I looked around at the Great Hall and saw the thrones for the various leaders who would be arriving soon formed in a circle and resting on each chair was a chest containing the gift I made for them. I looked up at the roof supports and using my eye of the dragon and eagle eye I could see my ninjas all crouched down ready to jump in when needed. I took out my dragon pipe and began gently smoking it to calm my nerves since I knew that some of the chiefs might declare war the second my dad let them know I was married.

It was then the doors were pushed open by Gobber and Spitelout allowing a large crowd of people in with who I believed to be the chiefs leading the way with men behind them holding banners with each holding a tribe's insignia. (AN: Think of 'Brave' when the clan heads entered with a smaller crowd.) I looked out at the people and knew that a battle with all of them is the last thing I wanted to see so I hoped I'd be able to smooth things over with them. I looked out at the small crowd and could tell Amr was feeling a little uneasy if the way he quickly stood up growling was anything to go by. I gently placed my hand on his head and gently rubbed it as I said.

"Easy there boy, we don't fight unless we need to."

He growled and sat back down but I could tell he was still on guard before I turned my attention back to the people who were walking to the various thrones with the ones holding the banners following. As they did I looked at each of them and examined the ones who I believed to be the chiefs I smiled when I saw Dagur with Mala who was due to give birth soon but my smile vanished when I saw the other chiefs. I could tell who each chief was by the throne they were walking to and from the banners that were being carried behind them. Chief Bassmouth was a man wearing chain mail tunic with a fishing net wrapped around his upper torso like a sash and in his left and only hand was a trident with his tribe's symbol underneath the middle spike. His hair was brown and cut short but also messy and sticking out in places and his short beard was the same and I'm guessing it was from all their time at sea in the salty air.

I then saw a large man who was the same size as my father who I assume was chief Grant the hardheaded since he was carrying a large slab of white marble. He was wearing brown leather gloves with a dark grey apron that was covered in dust over a grey tunic and around his waist was a belt that held a hammer and chisel. His blond hair was blond and tied back in a ponytail while his beard reached the middle of his chest and had both dust and bits of stone in it most likely from carving multiple statues.

Chieftess Marrow was easy to spot by what she was wearing and the sound her outfit was making as she walked towards her throne. She was wearing an outfit that had multiple bones sewed onto it that rattled but they were loose so every time she took a step they'd shake and hit each other. The main things that caught my attention on her though was the large bone she was carrying on her back and the top of a human skull she was wearing on top of her head covering her brown hair that was tied back in a ponytail. I watched as she raised her hand to adjust the skull on her head and couldn't help but let out a gulp knowing she was definitely not someone I'd want to mess with.

I then turned to the man who I assumed to be chief Gilford since he was carrying a large iron mace, wearing some heavy looking armor that covered almost his entire body. The chest plate had his tribe's insignia is forged into the center of it while the metal bands on his wrists were inscribed with lightning bolts. His upper arms however were exposed revealing his bulging muscles each with his skin tattooed with the symbol of his tribe and also exposing the scars. The helmet he was wearing had a metal mask connected to it, which covered the top of his head showing only his eyes, and nose exposed along with the lower part of his face that had five-o-clock shadow. The thing that caught my attention the most however was the way he carried himself with such arrogance that it would put the Jorgensons to shame. I knew right at that moment I was not going to like this guy since he was clearly an arrogant man and I did not like arrogant people.

Then my eyes landed on a large woman whose face was covered by a black shrous that was wrapped around her head and knew this to be chieftess Luna. Besides the shroud however she was mostly wearing clothing made out of thin black material but we could all tell she was wearing armor beneath it. Using my eye of the dragon I was also able to see the curved swords she was hiding beneath the clothing and knew she was not someone to mess with. As I looked at the shroud covering her face I couldn't help but wonder why she was wearing it since I doubt she was wearing it for no reason. I knew I'd have to keep my guard up around her if she could use her mind to manipulate situations then she was by far the most dangerous person here.

I then saw a man draped in the pelt of a large mountain lion with his head sticking of the back of the beast while its head was on his right shoulder. On his head was the head of a bear with the bottom jaw missing and the top part resting on his head while his clothing was made of the fur of various animals. It was this choice of clothing that showed me this was chief Lokiroht since he was known to wear the pelts of vicious animals he'd hunted down himself. I then saw on his back was a large sword and after using my eagle eye I saw the hilt was wrapped up in the tanned skin of some sort of animal.

When he sat down I turned my attention to the one group of people being led by a chief who I knew was going to cause problems for me. The man leading this group was none other than Chief Nigren of the Grown Hills tribe hadn't changed much over the time since I last saw him. The only thing that had changed with his appearance was there were now a few streaks grey now going through his hair and had taken to wearing a bit more jewelry. When he sat down I looked around at the other chiefs and saw they were all seated with their gifts on their laps.

I looked at each of them along with those who were at their sides and knew I'd have to be on my guard since none of these people looked like they enjoyed finding out their trip was for nothing. As I looked at them I saw how their tribes' banners were now set up behind the thrones showing what tribe each of them belonged to. My dad then stood up from his throne and stepped forward as he yelled out.

"I AM STOICK AND AS CHIEF OF BERK I WELCOME YOU ALL TO MY TRIBES GREAT HALL!" There were words of thanks echoing through the hall before silence. "NOW LET US GET INTRODUCTIONS OUT OF THE WAY!" He sat back down as Dagur stood up while helping Mala up.

"I AM DAGUR, CHIEF OF THE BERSERKER TRIBE!" He then gestured to Mala smiling. "AND THIS IS MY WIFE MALA, LEADER OF THE DEFENDERS OF THE WING AND CURRENTLY CARRYING MY HEIR." Everyone remained quiet for a few seconds before there were a few short cheers that quickly died down as chief Bassmouth stood up and announced in a voice that could match a Thunderdrum in sound.

"I AM BASSMOUTH, CHIEF OF THE WAVE BREAKER TRIBE!" He then gestured to a man standing next to him. "I PRESENT TO YOU ALL MY SON AND HEIR, LEVI!" He then gestured to a girl next to Levi. "AND THIS IS MY DAUGHTER SEA BREEZE."

I took a moment to examine Levi and saw that he was around my size in height with a friendly smile on his face that was tan showing he spent much time in the sun. His clothes consisted of a dark blue sleeveless top exposing his arms with one possessing a tattoo of Njǫrd, Norse god of the sea, light brown pants and black leather gloves. His hair was a lighter shade of brown to his fathers and pulled back into a braid that reached the bottom of his neck. I then turned my attention to Sea Breeze and saw she had frizzy blond hair while wearing a sleeveless sea green top and short skirt with a belt buckle that had the insignia of her tribe on it and in her right hand was a spear. From the look in her eye and how she fidgeted I could see she was full of energy that she needed to get out or there'd be trouble. It was because of this I hoped things sped up a bit since the last thing I wanted was an aggravated heir. I was brought out of my thoughts when chief Grant stood up and yelled.

"I AM CHIEF GRANT OF THE STONE CUTTER TRIBE!" He then gestured to a person who I assume was a girl but it was hard to tell with her muscle. "AND THIS IS MY DAUGHTER AND HEIR BERTA!"

There was polite applause as I examined Berta who looked to be sporting as much muscle as her father and that was saying something since he was quite buff. Her muscular arms had leather wristbands around her wrists while she wore a dark grey tunic with brown pants and her brown hair was tied back in a tight bun. She also had a jaw that was only slightly smaller than her fathers which was pretty big so all in all she looked more like a man than a girl at first glance. It was then Chief Grant gestured to two people next to him as he said.

"AND THESE ARE MY NIECE AND NEPHEW." He gestured to a girl. "CRYSTAL!" He then gestured to a boy. "AND GEODE!"

I took a moment to examine the two and figured they were both around fifteen since they both looked pretty young. I saw Geode had the same build I had before I left with Toothless but he had brown leather gloves, a belt with a few bags on them with a few tools and was wearing a brown apron over a brownish yellow shirt while his hair was blond but had patches of dust and dirt in it. Presently he was examining a stone in his arm as if it was the most interesting thing he's ever seen which I didn't get but we all had our own interests. I then turned my attention to crystal who at this point was sharpening a dagger with the same glint in her eyes that Dagur once had showing her thirst for battle. Her light brown hair was tied back in a ponytail while she wore a sleeveless brown top with short skirt and metal wristbands. On her back was a metal shield with two swords crossed together with the handles sticking out from either shoulder allowing her easy access to them. I knew right then and there she was not a person I wanted to anger but I would deal with that later since chief Marrow just stood up and yelled.

"I AM CHIEF MARROW OF THE BONE CRUSHER TRIBE!" She then gestured to a girl next to her. "AND THIS IS MY DAUGHTER AND HEIR NAKALA!"

There was polite applause as I examined Nakala and saw that unlike her mother her outfit wasn't completely covered in bones but they were part of her attire. She had the top of a boar skull on each of her shoulder while her short-sleeved shirt was made of brown leather and her skirt had rib bones sowed onto it but at a distance from each other so they didn't rattle. I saw her arms had a few scars on them and she also had what looked like a bone strapped to the back but using my eye of the dragon I saw it was actually a metal sheath shaped like a bone. I knew from this she was not a person I wanted to mess with so it's best to try and avoid doing anything that might anger her. It was then chief Gilford stood up and yelled.

"I AM CHIEF GILFORD OF THE STORM TAMER TRIBE!" He then gestured to a man next to him. "THIS IS MY SON AND HEIR NAIL!" He then gestured to a girl on his other side. "AND MY DAUGHTER RAYNE!"

When the applause began I examined the two and saw that Nail was almost as fat as my dad with a small black beard growing that had pieces of food stuck in it. Along with this his hair was sticking out in places as if he'd been standing next to a skrill making him actually look pretty funny. He was wearing an outfit similar to my dads except his top was red and covered in food stains while the lower skirt was missing a few parts and looked burnt in some places. I then turned my attention to Rayne who to be blunt looked like a female version of Snotlout right down to the helmet and arrogant sneer on her face. The only difference was he shirt was dark blue, her belt buckle had the symbol of her tribe on it and she was wearing a chainmail skirt. It was then Chief Luna stood up and said.

"I AM CHIEF LUNA OF THE MOON CUTTER TRIBE!" She then gestured to a young man next to her. "THIS IS MY SON AND HEIR NOCTURN!" She then gestured to a girl next to her. "AND THIS IS MY DAUGHTER UMBRA."

While everyone else clapped I took in the appearances of Nocturn and Umbra so I could get a better idea of whom I was dealing with. He wore a sleeveless black shirt with matching pants and had an axe tied to his back using a leather belt that went around the front of his torso. He looked pretty strong with his muscular arms crossed over his chest and just looking around at everyone as if he couldn't care what was going on. I then turned to Umbra and saw like her mother she wore a veil around her head keeping it covered with the only thing showing being her crystal blue eyes that were looking around. Her clothes were rather baggy and reminded me of clothes I'd seen in Arabia and were brown in color but they made it hard for anyone to tell what her gender was. As I examined her I couldn't help but wonder why she was hiding herself like that but I knew if they were staying for a while I'd have time to ask her. Chief Lokiroht, standing up and yelling, then brought me out of my thoughts when he yelled.

"I AM CHIEF LOKIROHT OF THE SPEARWING TRIBE!" He then gestured to a young man next to him. "AND THIS IS MY SON AND HEIR VAATU!"

I took a moment to examine Vaatu and saw he was wearing a wolf pelt with the upper jaw on his right shoulder while his black hair was tied back in a short ponytail. Beneath the wolves pelt however I could see metal armor and skirt made of animal furs while in his right hand was a dagger he was toying with. I then looked at his eyes and saw they were looking in my direction and for a moment I thought he was looking at me but I soon realized his eyes were actually on Amr. When I realized this I noticed a glint in his eye that I did not like one bit since it was a glint that reminded me of that arrogant hunter Ichik and I hadn't thought about him in years. (AN: Chapter 7 guys.) It was the look of a hunter who had just spotted his latest prey and if his eyes were on Amr then I would have to do my best to keep Amr away from him since it would most likely end with Vaatu injured and a war breaking out. I figured I could hopefully talk to chief Lokiroht but I then noticed he was also looking at Amr with the same glint in his eye as his son so I made a mental note to have those two watched incase they try anything. I then saw Chief Nigren stand up and knew he was another person I'd need to keep an eye on considering what happened the last time he came to Berk. I had no doubt his arrogant son Ulrik and his bratty daughter Freya and I was not looking forward to seeing either of them again. It was then he yelled out.

"I AM CHIEF NIGREN OF THE GROWN HILLS TRIBE." A man then stepped up next to him. "AND THIS IS MY SON AND HEIR ULRIK!"

I took a moment to examine Ulrik and saw he really hadn't changed that much other than getting a bit more muscular and now sporting a short moustache. I then noticed the way he was looking at me which is a look of silent anger but I also saw a smug look on his face and I knew it could mean trouble in the future. I made a mental note to keep an eye on him and never to let my guard down around him while also making sure he was kept away from Astrid. I had the feeling he might still be after her as a wife despite the fact that she was never interested in him. My dad standing up then brought me out of my thoughts before he yelled.

"I ONCE AGAIN WELCOME YOU ALL TO BERK AND PRESENT MY SON AND HEIR, HICCUP HADDOCK!"

He gestured to me as I pulled my pipe out of my mouth and bowed my head to them all before returning my pipe to my lips and began gently puffing again. My dad looked like he was about to announce something but before he could say anything else Chieftess Marrow stood up and yelled.

"ALRIGHT, WE ALL KNOW WHY WE'RE HERE BUT I KNOW THAT WE'VE ALSO ALL HEARD THE STORIES ABOUT HICCUP HADDOCK AND HAVE QUESTIONS FOR HIM SO BEFORE WE DO ANYTHING ELSE LET'S GET THE QUESTIONS OUT OF THE WAY SO WE CAN ALL FOCUS AT THE TASK AT HAND." She looked around. "AGREED?" Everyone then said in unison.

"AGREED!" Knowing I wasn't going to get the chance to let them know I'm married until after I've answered their questions I let out a sigh and turned to the chiefs.

"I'LL BE HAPPY TO ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS AS LONG AS YOU ALL WAIT PATIENTLY, RAISE YOUR HAND WHEN YOU HAVE A QUESTION, WAIT TILL I POINT YOU OUT TO ASK YOUR QUESTION AND ALLOW ME TO ANSWER THE CHIEFS AND HEIRS QUESTIONS FIRST." I looked around at them. "DOES THAT SOUND FAIR?" They all nodded in agreement as I turned to Chieftess Marrow. "Chieftess Marrow, since you brought it up you can ask your question first." She smiled.

"In your travels I hear you've gone up against some pretty powerful foes but in your own opinion, who is the worst." I puffed my pipe in thought before I pulled it out.

"I'd have to go with either the sorceress Morgan le Fay, the Titan Kronos and the demon lord Akuhei." She raised an eyebrow.

"Why those three specifically?" I smiled at her.

"I'll show you."

Before she could say anything else I used my illusion spider to create an illusion in the center of the circle of chiefs showing my battle against those foes. My fight against Morgan le Fey with her sword that destroyed my arm, followed by my battle with Kronos after showing them how he was able to freeze time and put his blade in my stomach and then my battle with Akuhei in which I used the power of the Orochi to destroy him. When I finished I looked around at the faces of everyone and with the exception of those from Berk along with Dagur and Mala everyone was staring slack jawed. I couldn't help but let out a small chuckle at their shocked looks before I turned to Chieftess Marrow and asked.

"Does that answer your question chieftess Marrow?" This brought everyone out of his or her shock before she looked at me before she asked.

"How did you do that?" I held up my golden spider showing it to the room.

"My golden spider gives me the ability to create illusions whether they be for battle, tricking my opponents or just showing what I've done on my adventures." She nodded.

"And where did you get this spider?"

"It was a gift from the African god Anansi the spider for all I'd done for their land but that's a story for another time." It was then Nakala asked.

"What did you do in Africa to earn these gifts?" I looked at her.

"I thought I said if you have a question raise your hand and wait till I point to you but if you're really that curious to know I cured a werehyena, defeated an evil sorceress named queen Shara with an army of leopard creatures, killed a Isitwalangcengce, freed a ninki nanka that was chained up and forced to attack, slayed a grootslang that was meant to do me in and defeated a power hungry nut-job who was responsible for the last three beasts." As I named each of these foes I used my golden spider to create a full sized image of them. "Now some may not look like much but don't let their appearance fool you, they were each formidable opponents and in the beasts case very dangerous." They all nodded. "Now does anyone have any other questions?" Multiple hands went up and I pointed to chief Lokiroht. "Yes chief Lokiroht?"

"What happened to those beasts you faced?" I nodded.

"The werehyena turned back to a normal human being, after queen Shara was defeated the leopard men turned back to normal leopards and ran back into the jungle, the ninki nanka who just wanted to go home so I let it go since they weren't going to cause any more trouble, I killed the Isitwalangcengce whose pelt was presented to me as a gift from the people and I killed the grootslang whose body was taken by the gods and turned into the coat I now wear." He nodded before his son raised his hand.

"Yes Vaatu?"

"What kind of dog is that at your side?" He pointed at Amr who sat up when Vaatu mentioned him but I put a hand on his head.

"This is Amr and he's a Sha from Egypt but don't let his appearance fool you, he's more powerful than he seems and can take you down easily." Amr growled and nodded as Vaatu chuckled and everyone else joined in.

"How could that mutt take me, one of my tribes greatest hunters down?" I just shook my head.

"I wouldn't taunt him if were you."

"Why?" He chuckled. "Is he going to bark at me?" Amr just growled and walked back into the shadows. "Or maybe he'll-" He then stopped when he saw me smoking my pipe and Amr gone. "Where'd that thing go?" I blew out some smoke before I saw Amr form out of the shadow cast by his fathers throne behind him.

"Right behind you."

Amr then growled making Vaatu turn around just in time to see Amr flying towards him and push him to the ground as we all watched. Vaatu tried to raise his arms to push him off but before he could Amr let out his black flame blast hitting them both and making them fall limply at his sides. Amr looked ready to tear into his throat as he pulled his head back preparing to strike but before he could I let out a whistle making him freeze. He turned to me as I walked up and placed my hand on his back before I said.

"Okay pal, you've made your point so get off him now." Amr just growled and climbed off before making his way back to the throne but stopped when I coughed making him turn back to me. "Give Vaatu back the feeling in his arms." He growled but stopped when I glared. "Now Amr!" He just growled and walked back to Vaatu and let out his white flame blast returning the feeling to Vaatu's arms before returning to his original place next to my throne while I offered Vaatu my hand to help him up but he just glared and lifted himself up.

"What was with those flames?" I lowered my arm.

"Amr's black flames leave any part of an opponent they strike paralyzed while the white flames undo the paralyzation." I made my way back to my throne and sat back down while petting him as everyone stared. "Like I said, don't let his appearance fool you, he's actually one of my most dangerous animals next to Adal." Chief Lokiroht then asked.

"Adal?"

"He's the leader of my wolves pack but rest assured, he's no ordinary wolf with his father being Fenrir." Everyone gasped.

"Did you just say Fenrir?" I nodded. "As in the wolf that is the sun of Loki who was chained up by the gods and will only break free at Ragnarok to devour everything in its path?" I nodded.

"Is there any other Fenrir?"

"Why in the name of the nine realms would you keep that beasts son?"

"He was gift from the elves who rescued him after his father tried to kill him for being born a runt since they believed with my guidance he'd be able to be of use to the nine realms." I took another puff from my pipe as he rubbed his chin.

"Do you have any other beasts on your island?" I blew out a stream of smoke.

"Plenty from the many different lands I've been to with most of them keeping to the section of my island that's like their natural habitat." He nodded but I could see a predatory glint in his eye that I knew would mean trouble later on. "Any other questions?" Chieftess Luna quickly raised her hand.

"Yes Chieftess Luna?"

"I heard you trained a nightfury and other dragons yet we've yet to see any around here."

"I did train a nightfury and yes do train to dragons but my dad thought it best keep them out of sight for now as a sign of peace." She nodded as Umbra asked.

"Will we be able to meet your nightfury?" I looked at her.

"His name is Toothless and yes but later." She nodded. "Now next question?" Chief Gilford raised his hand.

"What is it chief Gilford?"

"Is it true you've met Odin and the other gods of Asgard?" I nodded.

"Yeah, after my fight with the frost giants who intended to freeze all of Midgard to raise a new army of Frost giants to take over the nine realms."

"So did they give you anything for the deeds like say a weapon that could harm even them."

"I was given a celebration in the halls of Valhalla, a barrel of never ending mead from Valhalla, a bejeweled dagger from the elves along with seeds from their land, a foldup ship made by the dwarves and an axe with lightning and ice powers." I could see the glint in the eyes of him and his son. "In the wrong hands my axe could cause some major trouble but fortunately it will only work for me." He let out a small growl as he sat back down before I saw chief Bassmouth lift his hand.

"You have a question Chief Bassmouth?"

"Yes, did you say you got a foldup ship?" I nodded. "As in a ship like Skidbladnir that was given to the Aesir gods." I nodded.

"My ship was made by the same dwarves who made Skidbladnir and Odin's spear Gugnir." (AN: Chapter 98 guys.)

"Does this ship have any special powers or abilities?"

"It's unsinkable, a lot bigger on the inside than the outside, can sail at immense speed without any wind, a lot of powers for naval combat and can be controlled by my will alone." He nodded.

"Do you think you could give me a tour and demonstration of what your ship could do then lad?" I smiled.

" I'd be happy to show you later." He smiled at me.

"I appreciate it lad."

Nigren then lifted his hand.

"Yes chief Nigren?"

"Last time I was here you were dating that blond haired lass Astrid." I nodded. "So what happened between you two?" I knew this question would come up so I came prepared.

"I prefer to keep my personal life private but if you must know shortly after you left I went on another trip before Astrid got sick." I took a puff from my pipe. "She was pretty hurt that I wasn't there to help take care of her and we drifted apart and although we're still friends we are not dating." Ulrik then asked.

"So she's available?" I saw the smile on his face and glared at him.

"Yes she is but when I last spoke to her she made it clear she's not interested in dating and if you'll recall the deal we made when you were last here we made a deal in which you'd leave Astrid alone and forget any thoughts of going after her." He opened his mouth to reply but I looked down at my prosthetic hand while heating up my stone of good fortune. "I even gave you the brand on the back of your neck as a reminder of it." He rubbed the back of his neck as I activated my third arm sash and have it extend towards him and point at him as I said. "I'd rather not brand you on a different part of your body so please honor our agreement because I've gotten a few new skills and weapons since we last met." He just stared at the sash with his mouth wide open making me chuckle as my sash pushed his mouth closed and then pat his cheek before coming back to me as chief Grant stood up.

"What is that thing?" I turned to him.

"This is my third arm sash." I made it give Amr a scratch on the head. "As you can see it acts as a third arm and although I can't use it for battle it comes in handy for other purposes like picking things up in my workshop that are out of my reach." He nodded as I looked around. "Now that all the chiefs and heirs questions have been answered does anyone else have questions they'd like answered?" Once again hands went up as I let out another puff of smoke to hold back a groan knowing this was going to take a while and then pointed to a member of the Storm Tamer tribe to begin what I knew would be a long question and answer session.

Two hours later

This question and answer session has been going on for two hours meaning it's been two hours of nonstop annoying questions with the occasional need for me to create an illusion to show them some things in order to answer their questions. The questions from the Wave Breakers were mostly about the designs of my ships and but Levi asked me a few questions about the places I'd been to and how to get to them. I answered him the best I could with occasionally using my golden spider to make an illusion of what the environment of the lands looked like. The Stone Cutters on the other hand were mostly rock-based questions such as what the stones were used for and what the best one for statues are. The Bone Breakers mostly wanted to know where they could find the best warriors. Nakala even asked me whom the best warriors of the places were since she wanted to challenge them to a fight to test her skills. I just told them that the different races all offered a different challenge with their different weapons and fighting styles so it was hard to say which they accepted. The Storm Tamers mostly asked about the normal weather that could expected in the places I went to Nail was more curious about the food and the gods of the lands. The Moon Cutters mostly asked about the different constellations of the lands and the nocturnal animals that roamed the lands. The Spearwing tribes were by far the most annoying though since they not only asked about every creature I've gone up against and those native to the land but also had me create an illusion to show them what each of the beasts looked like. They even went so far as to have me alter my illusions to show how I took the beasts down and what I did with their carcasses when I was done. Now after two hours of constant questions I was finally able to take a short break while everyone absorbed what I'd shown them. It was then my dad stood up and said.

"ALRIGHT ALL NOW THAT THIS LONG QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION IS DONE I BELIEVE IT BEST WE GET DOWN TO BUSINESS ON WHY YOU ALL CAME HERE." There were murmurs of agreement as I saw my dad open his mouth to continue with what I hoped would be an apology but before he could say anything Chief Gilford stood up and yelled.

"I AGREE SINCE WE ALL DIDN'T COME ALL THIS WAY JUST TO LISTEN TO A LADS STORIES, WE CAME TO STRENGTHEN OUR BONDS WITH BERK THROUGH THE MARRIAGE OF BERKS HEIR." There were cries of agreement. "AND ALSO USE THE OPPORTUNITY TO POSSIBLY STRENGTHEN THE BONDS OF OUR SEPARATE TRIBES AND POSSIBLY DRAW UP NEW PEACE TREATIES AND TRADE ROUTES." Once again there were cries of agreement and my dad opened my mouth to reply but before he could say anything Chief Gilford turned to me as he said. "LET'S INTRODUCE THE LAD TO THE CANDIDATES FOR HIS BRIDE."

When he said this there were cries of agreement and I sighed as my father sat down knowing he wasn't going to tell them nor would any of us get a word in till they were done introducing the girls. It was because of this I figured it best to just endure it and try to tell them that I was happily married already and my parents wrote them when I was away and they didn't know until I got back. Also the trouble I went through to make sure they didn't come all this way for nothing by getting only the finest traders from Arabia who'd set up only their finest wares for sale and how I'd give the chiefs, their children and bridal candidates a tour of my island tomorrow. I just hoped it would be enough to calm them down enough not to declare war on Berk for wasting their time.

AN: Yeah, I know it wasn't very exciting but I figured I'd give you all an introductory chapter to the tribes, their chiefs and their heirs along with an idea of what they're all like. Also a big thank you to 'Rogue Deity Master' who came up with these tribes, their chiefs, heirs and of course the bridal candidates. Now in the next chapter here come the brides and the chiefs find out about Blanca. I would've put those in this chapter but I'm having a bit of a block on it so I decided to save it for the next chapter. Until then please be patient, be kind with your reviews and I'll see you next time.
