Hi guys, I hope you are enjoying the story. For those who missed the disclaimer, or those who read it and are still here, I'll like to reiterate that this is a LGBT story. There might be a slight M18 scene. Don't worry, all clothes are still on. But if you are uncomfortable with that, feel free to skip ahead and go on to Chapter 18. I promise to do a recap at the start.

'Noooooo, Dawn!' I managed to pull her back as she leapt for the bed.

It wasn't easy; she was almost as big as me when she reared up on her hind legs. We went tumbling on the floor. Landing on my bed, I groaned as Dawn sat on me.

'Growl?' She asked me.

'You're dirty! I'm sleeping on the bed tonight!'

'Growl!' She huffed, as if saying she was also sleeping on the bed.

'No!' I grabbed her as she made another attempt for the bed.

As I wrestled with Dawn, Ronnie had unpacked and took the opportunity to sneak into the toilet.

'Hey that's unfair I called first shower!' I shouted.

'Too slow!' She crowed, closing the door.

There was no way all of Ronnie's Pokemon and mine are going to fit into the small room. I groaned as I realized I'm going to have to come up with a schedule for sleeping in bed too. The Pokemon are going to squabble over this, no doubt. Lexy was already upset he had outgrown the bed and had to settle for the floor. Thankfully, Estelle and Neo seemed perfectly content with sleeping in the Pokeball. Unless we were out, then Neo likes to sleep in the tree.

'Dawn! We are going to shower first,' I told her firmly.

She growled and contended herself with lying where she was, which was on me. This became a problem when I couldn't wriggle out from under her, trapped with Dawn's massive weight on me and my backpack squashed behind me.

'Dawn!' I complained. 'Let me up. I need to unpack. And I can't breathe, you're heavy.'

Much grumbling and complaining later, (she didn't seem happy that I said she was heavy. I didn't call her fat!) I managed to get my backpack on the floor. I was unzipping my bag when I heard the door opened

'That was fas…' My voice trailed off when I saw Ronnie.

She was wearing an oversized t shirt, very short gym shorts and no bra. Well, normal actually, since we are going to bed (oh Arceus bed!), but its Ronnie. I quickly look away, hoping I wasn't caught staring. I can feel my ears burning and prayed it's not visible.

'Your turn,' She said.

I sneaked a peek at her. She was toweling her hair, an amused look on her face. Oh I was so busted. I grabbed my clothes and darted into the toilet, where Dawn was already waiting for me, her paws tapping impatiently against the tiles.

'Are you going to sleep with a bra?' Ronnie laughed as Dawn jump onto the bed, blown dried.

I racked my brain. I was planning to sleep with a bra on, which I usually don't.

'It's bad for your boobs y'know,' She added, staring at me.

'Hey! Lay off my boobs,' I folded my arms over said boobs, suddenly feeling conscious. 'Not everyone has boobs as nice as yours.'

My eyes trailed down against my wishes, tracing the curve of her body. I forced them back up, hoping she hadn't seen that.

'I have nice boobs?' Her eyes light up, no doubt planning to mock me.

'I'm going to do laundry!' I announced, pleased that I found a reason for my attire.

'Ok, great!' Ronnie picked up her Pokedex, no doubt scrolling through Instagram, replying to her many admirers. 'Help me too.'

'Wait what?'

I can't believe she tricked me into doing her laundry for her. Damnit. I shoved our clothes into the washing machine in the laundry room. She had so many clothes! I decided to wash my cap as well, which was dirty, considering the fact that I travelled through a forest AND a tunnel. And It had been stolen so many times by Lexy and Ronnie. It probably had their sweat on it. Hmm, Ronnie's sweat… It had chocolate! I'm going to kill Lexy. Ugh no I'm going to kill Ronnie first, she was the one with the chocolate. Kill Ronnie, then Lexy.

Turns out, I didn't get to kill Ronnie. After I removed my bra and got into bed, Dawn planted her giant ass in between us. Then she whined for Mirabell. Ronnie had to wash Mirabell who was really, hasn't got a speck of dust on her. By the time we went to sleep, we had two Pokemon wedged between us, for which I was glad.

'Let's explore Verdanturf town!' Ronnie suggested the next morning.

She had gotten up before I did and was already dressed by the time I brushed my teeth and showered. Last night wasn't too bad. At least with Dawn in between us, she wouldn't have to watch me drooled. Not that I drooled. Or that she was watching. Maybe I'll keep Dawn between us from now on.

'What happened to training?' I asked her, my eyes actively avoiding her.

'We can take a break!' Ronnie grabbed my cap for my head. 'I know all the good places!'

'Hey!' I reached for my cap.

'It looks good with my outfit!' Ronnie grabbed my offending hand.

She was wearing a loose tank top tucked into jean shorts, with a flannel shirt draped over. It did look good. But that wasn't the point. It's a black baseball cap. It'll look good with any outfit.

'It looks good with mine too,' I complained, looking down at my pocket t with sleeves rolled up, tucked into jean shorts.

Realizing she was still holding on to my hand, I quickly pulled my hand away and gave up fighting for my cap.

'How did you even have so many outfits?' I frowned.

The one jacket I had took up about a quarter of my bag. And I've seen her with at least 3 different jackets already, not counting the flannel she was using as jacket.

'I am a very efficient packer,' She raised her eyebrows twice in quick succession.

Dawn sniffed at us curiously, having gotten off the bed.

'Well, what say you, Dawn?' I rubbed her head. 'Shall we explore Verdanturf?'

She gave a yip that I interpreted as yes and chased her tail a few times. Mirabell hopped down, wondering what the fuss was.

'Vul!' She exclaimed.

'Let's go,' Ronnie grabbed her bag, giving me a half grin. 'I'll show you where the good coffee is!'

'I don't like coffee!'

Ronnie did know the place well. She brought me to a hole in the wall, where I had one of the best Basculin and chips. She then brought me ice cream. We were sitting on a bench in a park, a cool breeze that was welcome in the hot Hoenn weather blowing gently past us. I had stolen my cap back.

'Hey, thanks for the ice cream,' I told her.

She gave me a sideway glance and I thought I saw a flicker of a full smile. She looked up, at Mirabell and Dawn who had their own cup. Dawn had plunged her entire nose into her cup and was now licking cream off her fur. With my luck, she'll probably get addicted to ice cream.

'And thanks for buying one for Dawn too,' I added. 'You didn't have to. You're going to spoil them all.'

Ronnie finished the last of her cone, licking her cream that had gotten around her lips. My eyes followed the movement of her tongue. My eyes flicked up and realized she was staring at me. Why did it suddenly become hard to breathe? The world around us moved on, Taillows chirping and I can faintly hear the sounds of traffic in the distance. But right there, on the bench, time seemed to have stop the moment our eyes meet.

'Ronnie, why…'

'Cara, I..'

We both said at the same time. I broke off with a laugh while she gave a nervous chuckle. Off the corner of my eye, I saw Mirabell, who was done with her ice cream and impatient to continue with our tour of the town, dash off. Dawn, who was excited at everything, dashed off after her.

'Mirabell!' Ronnie shouted, taking off after her.

The moment was broken, becoming a whirl of chaos as I picked up their trash, crammed the last of my cone into my mouth and dash after them, dumping the cups into the bin. I found them inside a jewelry shop. I step inside to find Mirabell staring at the glittery necklaces.

'Hey,' Ronnie greeted me. 'Sorry, Mirabell likes sparkling things. I told you she's a princess.'

'Yea, I'm starting to think Dawn is too,' I smiled, going over to stroke Dawn behind her ear.

Then, a necklace that was lying in the display case caught my eye. I had never been a necklace kind of girl and I had absolutely no idea why it caught my attention. It was a simple piece, elegant. It had slivery chain that shimmered in the light. At the bottom hang a small star that caught the light and sparkled.

'You like that necklace?' Ronnie had come over and was standing behind me.

'I uh, yes. I mean, no!' I was distracted by how good she smelt.

'Yes or no?' She lifted her eyebrow in amusement.

'Yes, but no, it's expensive.' I said, when I realized she was going to buy it for me. Or was I imagining that? 'Ronnie… Why are you being so nice to me?'

There was a stunned silence. Then she let out a harsh laugh. 'You can't be seriously asking me that.'

The smile she gave me flashed into my mind. Then I thought about how she offered me her jacket. The hug she gave me in Rustboro. The chocolate, the ice cream. The side glance on the bench. How our eyes always meet for the briefest of second as she caught me looking at her and I looked away. Or was she sneaking glances at me, just as I was?

'You… I… Wait you mean you…' I stuttered, seemingly not able to get the words out of my mouth.

Oh Arceus why isn't my mouth working? Ronnie ran her hand through her hair frustratedly.

'I thought… I thought maybe you didn't like me. You were so cold in Route 116,' She grimaced. 'Then last night, when… Last night, I thought I had a chance. That you were interested too.'

Damn, she so caught me staring at her boobs. My mouth seemed to be unable to close, yet I couldn't formulate any words. Dimly, I was aware that there was a shopkeeper, who seemed way too interested in our exchange. Ronnie seemed to notice this too.

'I guess not,' She finally said, when I didn't respond.

She stalked out of the door. Mirabell turned, gave me an angry yip, her eyes reproachful, and darted out after her Trainer. Dawn stared at them, then gave me a push.

'Growlithe!' She barked.

Startled, I realized I should go after Ronnie.

'So, I take you you're not buying?' The shopkeeper said.

'No!' I told him, exasperated, and chase after Ronnie.

'Ronnie wait!' I shouted, aware that I was attracting weird looks.

'Go away!' She called back, picking up her pace. 'Let me be embarrassed in peace.'

'Ronnie!' I gave up and ran after her. Damn it, why does she have such long legs?

'Ronnie,' I said when I finally caught up with her, slightly out of breath. We were back at the quiet park, with only Taillows to accompany us. She turned to face me, closing her eyes, as if praying for patience. I realized now that I have caught up with her, I didn't know what to say. 'I wasn't cold on Route 116!' I blurted out.

Her eyes snapped open, releasing her breath. 'Oh yeah? How many times you pushed me away?'

'I thought you had a girlfriend!'

Her eyes widened. 'Girlfriend? I don't!'

'You don't?' The words came out as a breathless whisper.

'No, I don't. Why –'

'The girl in Petalburg?'

'The girl in – oh,' Recognition lit on her face. 'I ended things with her long ago.'

I raised my eyebrow.

'If you must know, it's because she insulted you. And Lexy.'

I felt ridiculously happy, and my facial muscles seemed to have a mind of their own. I probably looked like a maniac, with that kind of grin.

'So you don't have a girlfriend?' I asked, the smile still on my face.

'No,' She said firmly.

She stared at me and the whole world melted away. Time stopped again. Maybe this park was special, maybe this park can stop time. But I didn't care, because there was only Ronnie in front of me. My eyes drank in her features, her bright, green eyes. The curve of her jawline. The shape of her lips. Oh her lips. She wetted it with a flick of her tongue and I couldn't stand it anymore. I cupped the back of her neck and pulled her face towards mine. I felt more than heard her gasp when my lips met hers. Then her mouth curved into a smile and she was kissing me back. I closed my eyes, enjoying the press of her lips against mine. My heart drummed up a crazy beat as she lifts her hands to my face, tilting it so she could kiss me better. People always described kissing as fireworks exploding and they were not wrong. My blood seemed to sizzle as my stomach fluttered wildly. When she broke away, breathing hard, I could feel myself tingling all over, and I wasn't sure my knees could continue holding me up. She was still holding on to my face, as if afraid to let go. Then she pulled me in again for another kiss, more urgently this time. Her scent wrapped around me as I gave a small moan, drunk on how good it smelt. How good she felt. The softness of her hair twirled around my fingers, the press of her warm lips against mine, the gentle caress of her hands on my face.

'VUL!'

The sharp voice of Mirabell broke us apart. All at once, my senses seemed to have returned to me in a rush. The crisp smell of clear air mingled with her lingering scent reminded me that I was in a very public place. The kiss from Ronnie had stolen all my air and I still couldn't seem to find enough to draw into my lungs. She seemed as at a loss for words, her chest falling up and down rapidly. I licked my lips, delighted to find her taste still lingering there. She tasted of sunshine, of rainbows, of the ice cream she just had. Hazelnut. I licked again. My mind had turned into a useless mush.

'So,' I looked at her. Her wide eyes were just staring at me, as if she couldn't believe what just happened. I couldn't either. 'You like me?'

That seemed to break the spell. She punched my arm. 'Yes, you dumb dumb.'

'Ow, what was that for?' I rubbed my arm.

'For making believe you don't like me.'

'Vul!' Mirabell said as she hit me with her paw.

Dawn, who seemed to think it was a fun game, follow suit. Damnit. Ronnie and her team were such bad influence.

The rest of the day passed in a daze, and I was in my happy bubble. Ronnie brought me to a small restaurant that I barely remembered, only that the food was good. We returned to the Pokemon Center after that, with MIrabell and Dawn trailing behind us. I had showered and was lazing in bed, free from Dawn and Mirabell. Thank Arceus. I didn't know how Ronnie did it but she convinced Mirabell and Dawn to stay on the sofa for the time being, where they were lounging at now. The toilet door opened with a click, and Ronnie stepped out, toweling her hair. It felt like deju va. I found myself unable to tear my eyes off her. Which, of course, she noticed.

'Checking me out?' She struck a ridiculous pose and a bubble of laughter burst out from my mouth.

I clamped my mouth and glared at her. Oh, she was so teasing me last night.

'You are evil,' I told her as she sat on the bed, towel now draped over the arm of the sofa.

'Oh, you were the one looking at me like that last night. Do you have any idea how hot that made me?' Ronnie demanded. Then, her mouth curved in a way that could only mean she was going to tease me. 'You said my boobs was nice.'

'I didn't!' I felt my cheeks flamed. Then a thought occurred to me. 'Did you goad me into taking off my bra?'

The half smile on her face told me all. 'Ok, maybe.'

'Pervert!' In other situations I would have been creeped out but oh Arceus at her sentence, heat unfurled low in my tummy.

'No I'm not,' She said as she reached towards me.

Her finger brush over the side of my tummy before coming to a rest on the small of my back, her intentions in total contradiction of her words. She drew me closer to her.

'So, hypothetically, if two people like each other,' I rested my hand on her tummy, caressing those toned through her shirt. 'And they are in a room, alone. On a very nice double bed.' My eyes flickered to Mirabell and Dawn. 'Alone with two Pokemons.' I amended, moving to straddle her.

'Hmm, in that hypothetical situation,' Ronnie breathed, pulling me down to her. My face was just an inch from hers as she murmured. 'What who those two people do?'

'What would they do indeed?' My fingers brushed against her cheek, acutely aware of how short her shorts was. How her bare legs felt against mine.

Then she raised her mouth to cover mine and for the second time of the day, my world exploded in a kaleidoscope of colours. She gave a soft moan against my lip, her fingers shifting to my head, her grip hard. I matched her urgency, my body pressed against hers as I drunk in the taste of her lips. Her head pressed now against the pillow, her hands wandered the length of my body, cupping my butt. Giving me one last kiss, her hands move to my hips as she flipped me over in one smooth motion, rolling on top of me. Oh, how delicious her weight was pinning me on the bed. My fingers slipped under her shirt, feeling the bare skin of her abs against my palm. She gave a shocked gasp, then moved to claim my lips with hers, her mouth hot and demanding. She pulled one of my leg out impatiently from under her. I wrapped it around her exposed legs, gripping her hard and she gave another satisfied moan, flaming the fire in my core. As her hand slid up my bare thigh, I felt a hard poke at the side of my ribs. My eyes flew open in surprised. Ronnie hadn't noticed, her lips still busy with mine. With great effort, I pulled away.

She seemed startled, her eyes searching mine for an answer. 'What's wrong?'

'Vul!' Mirabell poked me in answer.

Damnit. I shifted to rub my ribs. Why poke only me? Of course, Dawn was not one to be left behind. Seeing that Mirabell had moved onto the bed beside us, she leapt from the sofa. Ronnie let out a 'oomph', her eyes widening as she was crushed onto me. She managed to prop herself on her elbows, keeping most of the weight from me. I raised my eyebrows, impressed by her strength. I poked her arm to make her it wasn't made of steel.

"So, this is what having kids is like, huh?' I stared at her, her face inches from mine. My heart was still beating wildly.

She let out a surprised chuckle. 'You have no idea.'

She leaned down to give me a chaste kiss on my cheeks before (regrettably), wiggling out from under Dawn. We finally settled both Mirabell and Dawn down, placing them near the bottom of the bed. I faced Ronnie, drinking in her features as she gave a sleepy yawn. Unable to resist, I dragged my foot out from under Dawn (who was a furnace) and threw it over Ronnie. She gave a jolt of surprise, before draping her arm over me, eyes closed. I was still beaming like an idiot.
