Chapter 223
Nobodies POV:
Sahil turned to the people on the other side of the cavern on the other side of the pit and held up his hands silencing them all before he smiled and announced.
"BROTHERS, TONIGHT WE TAKE ANOTHER STEP TO THE RESERECTION OF OUR PEOPLE AND THE RISE OF THE GREAT KALI!" The men cheered until Sahil raised his hand to silence them again. "THE FIRST STEP IN OUR PLAN HAS ALREADY BEGUN WITH THE POISONING OF THE KING AND ALTHOUGH IT WILL TAKE TIME, THE POISON HAS BEGUN TO TAKE EFFECT!" Hiccup clenched his fists in anger from his place overlooking the ceremony. "NOW WE BRING FORWARD THE THREE GEMS OF SHIVA WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND BEFORE THE INITIATION OF A NEW SERVANT OF KALI!" He then raised his hands. "BRING FORTH THE GEMS OF SHIVA!"
The men cheered as three men walked out of a passage, each of them wearing black and white face paint that made their faces look like skulls, wearing white turbans with black stripes and a large orange circle at the front. On top of these turbans were wooden spikes that were impaling small, black metal heads of Kali and along with these they were also wearing black wrappings around their waists, holding up their white and red skirts. They also wore long dangling necklaces that went down their white painted chests and had orange paint lines on their upper arms above the black armbands above their elbows.
Each of them was holding an item that was covered with black silk and since silk was expensive in this land, it showed that whatever they were covering was valuable. They each walked to Sahil with one stepping in front of him and the other two on either side of him with none of them facing him but staring at the crowd as drums began to play with the men chanting. The men removed the silk coverings to reveal three different gems that were each the size of a hand but were a thick oval shape with flat bottoms. The man on the left held a sapphire, the one on the right held a ruby and the one in the middle held an alexandrite, all looking incredible valuable as the men held them up.
Each one of the men walked to the skull at the foot of the statue and raised the gems as the men chanted and drums were beaten while the gems glowed making Hiccups eyes widen. The men then placed the gems onto the statue with the sapphire and ruby going into the eye holes and the alexandrite going into the nose of the skull. Once they were in place the men stood back as the ones who formed the crowd sat up and raised their hands while cheering loudly until Sahil raised his hands to silence them. He smiled at them as he announced.
"AND NOW WITH THE GEMS IN PLACE, LET US CONVERT AND INITIATE ANOTHER INTO THE SERVANTS OF KALI!" He clapped his hands. "BRING FORTH THE NEW DESCIPLE!"
Hiccups eyes widened in shock when two men in the same state as the ones who carried the gems appeared but what shocked him was the fact that they were holding the arms of a struggling and shirtless prince Sanjay who was demanding they let him go. Sahil smiled as he walked towards the prince and gently rubbed his thumb over the prince's forehead as he said.
"Fear not your highness for soon you shall never feel any weak emotion again." He then ordered. "BRING FORTH THE BLOOD OF KALI!" Another man in the same attire as the others came out holding what looked to be a dried out human head with the top of the head cut off and a curved metal ramp at the bottom of the mouth. "ONCE THE PRINCE HAS DRUNK THE BLOOD OF KALI HE SHALL ENTER THE BLACK SLEEP OF KALI AND BECOME A SERVANT OF KALI AND WHEN HIS FATHER HAS BEEN DEALT WITH, THIS LAND WILL BE OURS!" Hiccup growled and muttered.
"Not if I have anything to say about it." Hiccup slowly stood up and climbed up onto the boulder he'd been hiding behind.
"LET THE CONVERSION BEGIN!" Hiccup then made his presence known by saying.
"I have a better idea."
Since the chamber had been silent everyone heard him and looked up toward Hiccup, just as he jumped from the ledge with his wings spread out allowing him to glide over the pit towards Sahil. When he was over the pit Hiccup pulled his wings back in so he was free falling toward Sahil with his legs held out in a flying kick, striking Sahil right in the chest before he pushed off Sahil and flew back, doing a backflip and landing on his feet. Sahil on the other hand went flying back into the man who was holding the head knocking them both down and sending the head holding the blood of Kali flying until it hit the ground, pouring the red liquid it held splashing onto the ground. Sahil slowly got up to look at Hiccup in shock as Hiccup cracked his knuckles as he said.
"It involves me, you, your friends and a whole lot of hitting." He then turned to those holding Sanjay. "But first, just need to deal with your two pals holding the prince." He quickly activated his ox flame boots speed mode and rushed at them and in the time it took them to blink, he was behind them before he delivered a hard chop to the backs of their necks knocking them both out and freeing Sanjay who looked at Hiccup in shock but Hiccup simply replied. "Get behind me and stand back while I handle these nut jobs." Sanjay nodded and ran behind Hiccup who glared at Sahil as the men across the pit cried out and yelled in anger while shaking their fists at Hiccup before Sahil pointed at him and ordered.
"GET HIM YOU FOOLS!"
The four men who were on the same side and were still conscious could not have acted faster and rushed towards Hiccup who smiled and got into his fighting stance as each man pulled out punch daggers in each hand. One man ran ahead of the others and lunged at Hiccup with his right punch dagger but Hiccup dodged to the right and quickly grabbed the man's wrist in a terrible terror fang grip, snapping it almost immediately making the man scream in pain as he dropped his dagger. Hiccup then quickly spun turned his opponent around and pushed him int another charging man before delivering a powerful Thunderdrum pulse fist to the back of the guy he just pushed away sending both men flying back and into the side of the skull that held the gems.
The third man charged at Hiccup and thrust both daggers at Hiccup but he ducked beneath the blow and slammed his prosthetic fist into the man's gut while channeling a mist white crystal, enhancing the power of the punch and sending his opponent flying back. The final man ignored it as his comrade hit the ground unconscious and charged right at Hiccup who smirked as the man got ready to bring his arms down at Hiccup in a downward slash. Before he could though, Hiccup quickly grabbed him by the chest and picked him up and quickly performed a zippleback toss attack, ending with his opponent getting his head slammed into the ground. With the men taken down Hiccup turned to Sahil who was walking towards Hiccup as Hiccup smirked and said.
"It's so hard to find good minions these days, wouldn't you agree Sahil?" He just glared while Hiccup dropped his smirk. "Alright Sahil, your remaining men are on the other side of the pit so why don't you just give up now." He smirked.
"Not when I have one last trick up my sleeve." He quickly pulled his right hand out of his left sleeve throwing a white powder into Hiccups face making him cough a bit before collapsing to the ground unconscious leaving Sanjay standing there alone as two more guards ran out and grabbed him. "My apologies your majesty but your initiation into the Servants of Kali will have to wait a few hours while we prepare more of the blood of Kali for both you and Hiccup Haddock since he will make a fine addition to our ranks as a warrior." Sanjay just glared at him. "Brothers, take both the prince and our unconscious friend to the cage with the other future disciples." One guard took the prince while the other picked Hiccup up and carried him away.
3 hours later
Hiccups POV:
It's been three hours since I was taken down by Sahil using his powder to knock me out and when I woke up an hour later and when I did, I was not the least bit happy with what I saw. For starters I was in a cage with Sanjay and five thirteen year old boys who were all shirtless, wearing dirty white turbans and long pants but I wish they did have shirts since it would've covered their backs that were covered in whip marks. Along with this my arms were held above my head by rusty iron shackles, but it was what was outside of the cage that really made my blood boil to new heights.
We were in a giant cave with tons of children who had their arms and legs shackled while they were forced by servants of Kali to mine without break. As I looked around, I saw that some kids were hitting the walls with pickaxes, some were sat down and cracking open stones with chisels and hammers, some were carrying baskets full of rocks to those kids. What made my blood really boil was what servants of Kali who were shirtless, wearing black leather straps across their chests with black pants and black turbans that had red stripes were doing. They were holding some kids down and whipping their bare backs for slacking off from exhaustion while others were being whipped to force them to work faster. It took all my strength to not break out of the chains and then go after those men with my own whip to cause them a bit of pain for what they were doing but I knew if I did that then chances are Sahil would send more men or try to escape and that is not something I wanted.
That time in the cage was spent talking with the other captives and from the boys in the cell I learnt that they were all to be initiated into the Servants of Kali and had been begging Siva to kill them instead of allowing them to fall into the black sleep. From what I was told, those who drink the blood of Kali would still be alive but in a trance that makes them a servant of Kali and for the victim, it's like a nightmare you never wake up from. I wasn't afraid of this though since if it was mind control then I had nothing to worry about with my immunity to any form except for that of a god.
After that I decided to make life a little more difficult for the servants of Kali while I waited to be released from the cage but did so without the servants knowing it was me. I did this by releasing four of my sentinel metal pins and had them attack the servants by striking them in various nerve points that would cause all sorts of pain but without them realizing why. My favorite attack was on one man who was climbing up a ladder to get to a ledge where a child had begun slacking off but two of my needles struck his wrists making him let go of the ladder and fall back onto another guy. I caused various problems for these men in this way, whether it was striking their wrists when they were climbing up something or striking their ankles when they were walking near an edge.
A few minutes ago, the guards came by and dragged me and Sanjay out of the cage and down some tunnels into a small chamber lit by candles and a small lava pool. This chamber had three small square shelves with each holding a single one of the gems but beneath these shelves was a human skull, covered in wax with a candle set up on top of it and beneath it was the head that held the blood of Kali. The entrance was shaped like the top of a human skull that had two human heads in the eye holes making them look like pupils that added to its horrific appearance. Across from the entrance, in front of the lava pool though was a large boulder that reached just below my head in height and set on top of it was a giant stone skull and I was being held against this stone by a metal collar around my neck with the chains pulled down to hold my arms.
I glared at Sahil as he gently stroked the fur on the top of his crown while Sanjay struggled against the guard who was holding him in the corner. Sahil stared at the gems as he said.
"In the beginning there were five gems, each a different kind but over time they were lost during wars, coups and sold of by thieves to foreigners like you." He turned to face me. "They were eventually recovered one by one but then came the war where the Servants of Kali were almost wiped out and we were driven underground." He smiled. "Fortunately, one priest who was truly loyal to our cause hid the two remaining gems in these very catacombs." I raised an eyebrow.
"So that's what you have those poor kids mining for."
"They mine for the two remaining gems of Shiva and for gems to support our cause."
"They're innocent children who belong at home with their parents and being taught to help their people." He smirked as he put his crown back on and picked up the head that held the blood of Kali before turning to me.
"You will be seeing things differently very soon my friend."
It was then two guards walked up with one pinching my nose closed so my mouth was forced to open before the other gripped the sides of my mouth, forcing me to pucker my lips. Sahil then walked up with a tooth filled smile and forced the ramp in the heads mouth into my own mouth and poured its contents down my throat and it tasted like blood. After it was fully drunk it felt like hundreds of burning needles were being shoved into my brain before darkness consumed my vision. For what felt like hours there was nothing but me hovering in the darkness of the void with nothing to do but just float and wonder what was happening. It was then a burning flame appeared out of nowhere and from it rose the form of none other than Kali, armed with a severed head in one hand, a bowl beneath it to catch the blood and a scimitar in one of her other hands. Along with this she was also wearing a skirt made of human arms and a long dangling necklace of human skulls that reached just past the skirt in length. I immediately got into my battle stance ready for a fight as I said.
"If you're here to turn me into a mindless minion who enjoys hurting kids then know that I won't be going down without a fight." She just smiled at me as she shook her head.
"I am not here to enslave you Hiccup but here to ask for your help in stopping those who claim to be my servants." I raised an eyebrow. "They believe that I wish for sacrifices of innocent blood but the blood I wish is for those of the guilty so that they may be punished for their crimes."
"But what about their search for the gems of Shiva that would bring you back to the mortal world."
"It is true I do wish to return to the mortal world to help in bringing its end but the time for that is still many centuries away."
"Alright, but what do you want me to do?"
"I want you to stop them, reclaim the gems of Shiva and free the children before they are able to collect the remaining gems for should they succeed then I will be forced to return and bring about the end of your world."
"But what about the power they've been given?"
"That power was given by me to help the world, but they corrupted it and now the only way for it to be purified is by my hand when they are brought before me after their deaths." I nodded.
"I understand, I will stop them and ensure they're punished for their crimes." She smiled.
"Thank you Hiccup and although I have no right to tell you how to handle this I recommend you use the element of surprise as when you return to your body, they will believe you are now one of them."
"So, I'll be able to trick them and get close to their leader before giving him a good hard punch to the face."
"Indeed, although I'd prefer it if you aimed between the legs." My eyes widened as I shivered at the thought of the pain. "He deserves it for what he's putting those children through." I nodded understanding this. "Now go and make them pay for their crimes."
There was then a bright flash and I opened my eyes to find myself staring at the ceiling of a cave and was surrounded by lit candles that were sitting on ledges while I was laying down on a stone alter. It was then two guards walked in as I stood up and bowed to them making them smile before they led me out of the room to meet with Sahil. When Sahil saw me he smiled at me and placed a hand on my shoulder, welcoming me to the Servants of Kali before leading me back to the chamber where the statue was.
5 minutes later
I was standing in front of the statue, looking out at the crowd next to Sahil before the guards brought in prince Sanjay who was struggling in the guard's grip before Sahil said.
"I believe you need a little punishment your highness." One of the guards walked up but I raised a hand as I said.
"No!" All eyes turned to me. "He's mine!"
The guard stepped back as Sahil smiled and watched me make my way towards Sanjay before I kneeled down in front of him and raised my fist to punch him but as I did so I mouthed him to duck. His eyes widened before he did so just as I thrust my fist forward but when it was close to him, I redirected my fist so instead of hitting Sanjay, I hit the guard in the stomach making him go flying back. Before the men could react, I switched my prosthetic fist out for my flail and released the chain to give it some length and swung it around at the surrounding men knocking every guard back. I then pulled my flail back and begun rapidly spinning it while the men across the pit yelled and swung their fists at me, but I ignored them and turned to Sahil who was staring at me in shock as he asked.
"How?"
"The next time you try to brainwash a guy," I swung the flail down in front of him slamming it into the ground, causing a shockwave that threw him into the statue where he fell to the ground on his side with his crown falling off. "make sure he doesn't have an immunity to any form of mind control." I walked towards him. "Now before I deal with you, I think I'll be taking the gems out of your hands." I released three of my spiderpacks legs and quickly grabbed the gems before pulling them back in and felt them get put away. "They'll be safe until I can deal with them later but for now, I've got to deal with you." He smirked at me.
"You are not the only one with tricks up your sleeves."
He pressed a panel on the pedestal before a trapdoor opened beneath him and he fell in making me growl and clench my fists as it quickly closed. Knowing there was nothing I could do now I turned to Sanjay who ran up to me as I smiled and placed a hand on his shoulder while saying.
"We'll get him later but for now we have to free the kids." It was then my reflexes kicked in and I lifted my real hand to catch a stone that was thrown at me from across the pit by one of the worshippers while the others got ready to do the same. "And deal with these idiots."
"But how?" I smiled.
"You would be amazed what gear I have to deal with crowds." I switched my mace out for my prosthetic hand and released my boomerang while filling it with knockout gas. "This'll take care of them." I threw the boomerang above the men and watched as the gas fell onto them, slowly blanketing the entire other side while I turned to the downed guards on the side I was on and shrugged. "No sense in leaving them alone now." I pulled out my mystic Celtic bag with my real hand while holding up my prosthetic hand and catching my boomerang before turning to Sanjay who was staring at me in shock, but I shrugged. "Live my life for a week, you learn a few things." I then got to work on gathering up the Servants of Kali.
10 minutes later
We'd finished gathering up the Servants of Kali and now I was making my way towards the mines where the kids were being worked like slaves. I walked into the mines and saw one of the men pinning one of the boys to the ground with his foot as he whipped him and this made me growl in pain while releasing my snake whip. As the man raised his whip to strike the child again I swatted my whip from the side at the man, wrapping the whip around the guys arm. He immediately turned around to face me but when he saw me, I smirked and channeled a blue crystal sending lightning down my whip and into the guy who screamed in pain before collapsing, unconscious while I pulled my whip back. I looked around, seeing that the man's screams of pain had caught the attention of everyone in the mine with the servants of Kali pulling out punch daggers to deal with me. I turned to Sanjay and said.
"Get the keys off the guy I just took down and start freeing the kids while I deal with other Servants of Kali."
He nodded and ran to the unconscious form of the man before I looked around and smirked when I noticed a wooden balcony that had multiple baskets of rocks on it, above the entrance to the cavern four men were in and gestured for them to come at me which they were all too happy to do. I quickly channeled a light green crystal before swinging my whip at the balconies supports cutting right through them with the acid it was leaking and just as the men came out, the balcony fell down on them with the stones making me smile.
My ninja reflexes then kicked in and I stepped to the side to avoid the strike from one man who tried to get me in the back before I took his arm and flipped him to the ground. I then quickly slammed my foot down into his gut knocking him out making me smile until three arrows were launched at me from behind, striking me in the back but they were absorbed by my Grootslang coat as I turned around to see who fired them. I saw three men on a wooden catwalk and swung my arms, launching the arrows at the ropes holding the catwalk up and smirked when the catwalk came down causing the men to fall with it and crash to the ground, falling unconscious on impact. I then turned to see how Sanjay was doing and smiled, seeing he was halfway done with the kids until three more men rush in as I pulled my whip back into my prosthetic and reached into my bag of Loki balls and pulled out three silver balls. I quickly tossed them towards the charging men and watched as they multiplied when they hit the ground in front of the men who then stepped on the balls causing them to tumble about. I chuckled at the sight of them until they each fell against the wall, hitting their heads and knocking them out before Sanjay ran up to me and said.
"All the prisoners have been freed of their shackles." I smiled and held up my hand.
"One moment please." I placed my hand against the wall while summoning my Sobek warriors making all the kids huddle together before I quickly said. "Don't worry kids, these guys are under my control and are going to be protecting you from any Servants of Kali who try to stop you." I then turned to Sanjay. "You lead these kids back to the palace and warn your father about what's going on."
"But what about you?"
"I'm going after Sahil to make sure he doesn't get away." I kneeled down and placed my hands on his shoulders. "Right now, these kids need a leader and that role falls on you." I gently shook him. "There is a leader inside you and right now he needs to come out and get these kids to safety."
"Do really think so?"
"I don't think, I know and don't worry about any servants you run into, the warriors I just summoned won't go down easily." I then brought out a dagger full of speed stinger venom and held out the handle to him. "And in case any of those men get past, they'll have you to deal with and with this blade, a single cut will be enough to take them down." I passed the knife to him. "Now get these kids out of here." He smiled and nodded before he began leading the kids and my warriors out of the cave while I pulled out Sahil's crown and summoned ten of my Bastet warriors and handed it to them. "Find the owner of this crown." They each took a few long sniffs before growling and tossing me the crown which I quickly put it into my spiderpack and followed my warriors down the nearest tunnel.
15 minutes later
I was following my Bastet warriors alongside a cliff while tracking down Sahil and despite not finding him yet, it had been a pretty productive trip since along the way we'd encountered twenty more Servants of Kali who were now in my mystic Celtic bag. It was then we came to a bridge that looked like it had seen better days but sadly, according to my Bastet warriors, Sahil was on the other side. Knowing it better I go across on my own, I dismissed my Bastet warriors and began making my way across the bridge but when I was halfway down it, Sahil walked out of the forest on the other end with ten of his followers. His followers began making their way down the bridge and when I turned back, I saw there were twenty more on the other end with ten of them coming towards me so I was surrounded on both ends. Knowing getting out of this wasn't going to be easy I quickly pulled out the ruby and held it over the edge as I said.
"Back of Sahil or I drop the gem." He simply smiled and began walking down the bridge.
"The gem can be recovered Hiccup, you on the other hand cannot." I growled knowing there was only one way out of this I wrapped a rope around my ankle while wrapping the rope around my wrist, tightening my grip on the ruby and releasing my starsword while muttering to Kali to have mercy on the servant's souls.
"Sahil, Kali is not happy with what you've been doing to innocent people." I then raised my starsword. "But if you don't believe me then ask her when you see her in hell."
I then brought my sword down on the bridges rope slicing it making the bridge turn to the side as the other rope snapped, not being able to hold the weight making the entire bridge split in two. The end I was on fell against the cliff while fifteen of the servants of Kali fell into the waters below where crocodiles made short work of them. Normally I'd feel sick, killing other human beings but after all the evils those men had done, I couldn't feel the least bit of sympathy for them feeling they had it coming. Sadly, Sahil fell but was able to grab onto the bottom of the bridges half that I was on along with five more of his followers who were all beneath me.
Fortunately, when the bridge hit the wall two of the followers let go and went falling into the river below while I began climbing the bridge using my spiderpack with Sahil following, pulling his remaining followers down as he did so. When I saw this, I paused in disgust at his cruelty to his own followers until he caught up to me and latched onto my spiderpacks legs before I tried to shake him off as I said.
"Get off me!" He growled and grabbed onto my face, pulling my eye patch off while saying.
"Should I die, I will bring you with me." He then grabbed the ruby in my hand. "And I shall offer this ruby to Kali in exchange for being reincarnated." He then yanked me back again actually pulling one of my spiderpacks legs out of the wall before I switched my prosthetic into its dragon claw form and slammed my elbow back into his gut causing the spike to impale him as I said.
"I normally don't enjoy harming other humans, let alone killing them but in your case, I'll gladly make an exception." Sahil just coughed up blood onto my coat as he fell back and down the cliff. "A gruesome fate for an even more gruesome man."
I then began climbing back up the cliff while releasing my star sword to deal with the followers who were still up there but when I was halfway, I paused hearing the sound of a fight coming from above. I quickly sped up my climbing speed to see what was happening and when I reached the top, I was shocked but then I smiled at the sight that greeted me. All the Servants of Kali were now gathered together and surrounded by palace guards with Mohan and Sanjay at the front while my Sobek warriors were standing around the guards and Toothless was behind the royals. It was then Sanjay noticed me and ran up while yelling my name, gaining everyone's attention as Sanjay quickly began helping me get up and onto the edge. When I was standing up, I said.
"I'm glad to see you're alright." He smiled.
"It is all thanks to the warriors you sent with us and the dagger you gave me." He then raised an eyebrow. "What is on the blade by the way, I barely scratched one man and he froze up." I chuckled and tussled his hair.
"I'll tell you once everything is taken care of." He looked up at me to ask more but gasped and stepped back.
"Your eye, what is wrong with it?" I then remembered that Sahil had taken my eyepatch down with him exposing the eye of the dragon, so I held up my hand in a calming gesture.
"Don't worry, this eye is an artifact that I received to replace my real eye after I lost it when a demon lord blew up in my face." Before he could say anything else though Toothless ran up, jumped on me and then proceeded to cover me in slobber while I laughed and tried to push him off until the ground began to shake, and a feeling of dread filled me. "Why do I get the feeling this isn't over yet?"
As soon as the words left my mouth the ground where the followers had been gathered cracked open making them all fall in followed by a burst of flames as men screamed from within while everyone backed away. It was then a cold heartless laugh that sent a shiver up my spine echoed through the area before a giant hand made of cooled magma rock burst from the ground as everyone began to quickly back away in shock. We all watched as a horrific four-armed skeleton made of cooled magma rock with stone armor burst from the ground with red fire coming out of its eyes and mouth. I then noticed the ruby stuck in its forehead and knew right then and there that it was Sahil who was somehow able to corrupt and harness the power of the ruby and turn himself into this thing. He looked down at all of us and yelled.
"THE POWER OF SHIVA IS MINE!" It then looked down at me. "AND YOUR TIME HAS COME FOREIGNER!" The skeleton brought its top two arms down at me but Toothless tackled me to the side avoiding the blow before I quickly mounted him.
"Better get your glow on bud." He growled and went into alpha mode. "Let's go bud." Toothless growled and we took off with him delivering a blast to Sahil's face as I looked at the guards who had surrounded the royals alongside my Sobek warriors. "GET THE ROYALS OUT OF HERE BEFORE SOMEONE GETS CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE!" They nodded and began to lead the royals away while we turned back to the skeleton as the smoke cleared from its head to reveal it looking right at us.
"Did you honestly think that would work?"
"No but I figured it would buy us some time." He growled as he held out his upper arm with them facing down before long spiked chains burst from the ground and into his hands before he pulled out the other ends that were connected to large balls made of lava stone revealing them to be flails. "I'll crush you and your pathetic lizard."
He swung the left flail at us bit we were able to dodge it barely as he swung the right flail at us making me steer Toothless up allowing us to dodge the blow by flying over the swung boulder. I steered Toothless into a dive bomb and spun into a downward barrel roll with multiple blasts hitting the skeleton hitting its head and down its body before flying toward it and flying between the legs and coming up behind it. Unfortunately, we forgot about the extra arms and one was able to swat us as he turned around throwing us off course and sending us crashing into the ground with me being thrown off his saddle. I slowly pushed myself up and looked at Toothless' downed form as he crooned in pain before I said.
"I'm so sorry bud." It was then a shadow fell on me and I turned to see Sahil looking down on me.
"Surrender now Hiccup and I shall make your death quick." I growled and released my starsword before pointing it at him.
"I DON'T CARE HOW POWERFUL YOU ARE SAHIL, I WILL NEVER SURRENDER TO SOMEONE WHO HAS CORRUPTED THE POWER THAT IS MEANT TO PROTECT THIS LAND!"
"You fool, the power was never given a purpose other than to be sought out and used by those who discover it."
"YOU'RE WRONG, THAT POWER WAS GIVEN BY SHIVA TO PROTECT THIS LAND AND AS LONG AS I DRAW BREATH I WILL DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO RETURN THE GEMS TO THE LAND WHICH YOU STOLE THEM FROM IN THE NAME OF SHIVA!"
My last words seemed to echo through the area before I felt my spiderpack heat up making me a little confused since that never happened before. It was then the alexandrite and sapphire flew out of my coat and began circling me but before I could react an emerald and topaz joined them in circling me. I then felt something wrap around my arms and looked down to see vines from my sword wrapping around my arm as the gems thrust into the ground but I could tell they were still circling from the way the dirt moved. It was then multiple vines burst from the ground and wrapped up my body pulling me down to the ground in a familiar of cocoon. I felt myself then be pulled right into the ground as I felt energy pulsing through me, and it all made me feel so warm all over my body.
I felt as if I was being embraced by some form of power before there was a blinding white light and I knew what was coming from my battle with Cronus but this time it felt different. (AN: Chapter 103 guys.) There was a blinding flash and when it faded, I opened my eyes to see the four gems floating in the air above the hands of a silhouette that I knew to be Shiva from the images I'd seen in the palace. The gems then flew at me and imbedded themselves into my arms making me scream in pain as they dug into my skin but then images flashed into my head and I knew why I had to endure this pain and how it was all worth it.
Nobodies POV:
Sahil looked down at the spot where Hiccup once stood before he turned his attention to the downed dragon who looked up in fear and shrugged figuring if he couldn't crush Hiccup then his dragon was the next best thing. He raised his right flail before swinging it down towards Toothless who closed his eyes preparing to embrace death but as the boulder came down toward him a hand, made of pure topaz burst from the ground, catching the boulder. Toothless and Sahil looked at this in shock as the hand squeezed it and shattered the boulder into pieces before the hand slammed into the ground and pushed up. Slowly a figure who matched Sahil in size rose up from the ground to reveal the same stone figure that defeated Cronos but instead of a sword it had two new arms with all four arms now being made of four types of gemstones. His upper left arm was made of sapphire, his right hand that crushed the stone was made of alexandrite while his lower left hand was made of emerald and the right was made of topaz.
The figure who the skeleton now recognized as Hiccup stared at Sahil who had shaken out of shock and quickly swung his remaining flail at Hiccups head, but Hiccup raised his sapphire arm and slammed it into the boulder shattering it as if it were nothing. Sahil growled in annoyance and charged at Hiccup with all four arms pulled back but when he thrust them all forward, the stone figure caught each of them. Hiccup then fell backwards pulling Sahil with it as it pulled it legs in so its feet rested against Sahil's stomach before he threw Sahil over his head. Sahil went flying a few feet with the stone figure quickly standing back up.
Sahil slowly stood up and glared at the stone figure before charging at him with his hands pulled back, ready to punch again but once again Hiccup got ready to catch them. Sahil expected this though and before his fists met Hiccups hands, he opened his fists grabbing Hiccups hands and entwining their fingers. Sahil squeezed his hands shut trying to crush Hiccups hands but Hiccup didn't even flinch since Sahil failed to consider that although he had one of the gems of Shiva, Hiccup was harnessing the power of the other four. He also didn't realize his opponent is a Viking and Vikings fight rough which is why Hiccup pulled its head back before thrusting it forward, headbutting Sahil right in the face making him yelp in pain as Hiccup slowly crushed Sahil's hands.
Sahil screamed in pain while dropping to his knees in pain from his hand being crushed allowing Hiccup to lift his right knee and strike him in the jaw with it. Sahil pulled away and stumbled back as Hiccup let go of his hands. Before Sahil could react though Hiccup forced Sahil's top arms down with his lower arms while grabbing both sides of the skull with his upper hands. Hiccup quickly began crushing the skull making Sahil scream in pain and for the first time ever Hiccup spoke saying.
"You betrayed Shiva, corrupted her power and disgraced the ancient ceremonies and the very name of Kali." The skull began to crack. "And this is only the beginning of your punishments for your crimes."
The skull shattered revealing a skeleton within before the ruby flew out and into Hiccup's chest, turning torso from stone to ruby as the skeleton fell towards the waters but it turned to dust before it hit the water. Hiccup turned to Toothless who looked up at Hiccup and crooned to which Hiccup smiled before its body parts that had become gems slowly turned back to stone and then began to crumble with multiple pieces falling over the cliff leaving a small pile of rubble. Toothless climbed up onto the pile, sniffing around for something before some of the rubble was pushed off the top to reveal Hiccup who climbed out while coughing up a bit of dust. Toothless rushed up towards Hiccup and nuzzled him making the young warrior chuckle and rubbed Toothless' head as he said.
"Bud, remind me never to do that again." With that said Hiccup collapsed onto Toothless, unconscious.
AN: And another enemy of the world bites the dust but Hiccups time in India is not over yet and if you're wondering what will happen next, I'm afraid I cannot spoil it for you guys. As for the Servants of Kali, as Hiccup said there are always survivors who get away to reform but for now their time in this kingdom has come to an end, their time in this trip isn't over yet. What the group is up to though, this is something you will have to wait and see in the next chapter which I will be starting as soon as this chapter is posted. Anyway until next time, please remember to review and have a nice day.
