Soundtrack of Choice: Final Fantasy XVI boss battle Theme

'The miracle...' Uyru mused as he looked over Genrade's giant size form. 'An ability activated by drawing upon the fears and hopes of its allies and enemies and turns whatever damage inflicted by the user into strength. Such is the power of the one who bears the heart of the Reio' He then looked over to the dumbfounded Grimmjow. 'And given how large he is now, he just might stand a chance against that monster.'

The Cero Espada stared at Genrad momentarily before regaining his composure. 'Am I supposed to shake in my boots just because you've gotten bigger!' He then spikes up his Spiritual power. 'The only thing that changed is that you made yourself into a bigger target!' He mocked while speeding towards Genrade at near the speed of light in hopes of tearing him apart into a million pieces, but to Grimmjow's Astonishment, the giant was actually fast enough to counter most of his blows with an enlarged sword and shield, and for those that managed to get through, they were quickly healed and empowered the Imperial guard further.

'Fuck!' He roared in annoyance and fury. 'Just Die already, you bastard!' He then transformed himself into a blue blazing buzz saw, even when Genrade raised his shield in defense. The furious living weapon cut right through the shield and arm, and Quincy himself cleanly in half. But even then, the Cero Espada was far from done.

'Let's see how you can revive yourself after being reduced to ash!' He shouted while using Yammy's ultimate move, NĂșcleo CarmesĂ, to charge up a black-blue consecrated ball of Spiritual energy. Then he fired it at the still regenerating Imperial guard. Upon contact, it unleashed a gigantic explosion of Spiritual power that plunged an enormous hole in the ground that stretched hundreds of feet wide and dozens of miles deep while nearly breaking through the Gift Bargain by the sheer shock wave alone.

Yet when Grimmjow seemed satisfied that he had finally managed to kill his annoying foe...only to notice bits of the ashes of his body began to glow white and then started to merge in another gigantic form.

'You...' The Cero Espada stuttered as he saw to his incomprehension and dread. 'Just what the hell are you!'

When Genrad fully reformed, He became a Titan made of seemingly pure reshi and Spiritual energy with two large horns coming out of his shoulders and glowing line patterns around his chest and waist, with his face covered in a fully armored helmet and then stared down at Grimmjow with a glare.

'Your Judgment,' He answered simply before The Cero Espada did anything else. Genede quickly formed a massive bow in his hands and fired an equally large holy arrow at Grimmjow, piercing through his chest and sending him flying and crashing into the gift barrage and nearly breaking through it.

'Heh...' Ginjo chuckled upon seeing the arrow piercing through the empowered Espada. 'Serves that cocky bastard right for underestimating us,' he boasted while overlooking where the Espada crashed. 'Because regardless of how powerful he gets, that blonde dumbass will just keep getting stronger no matter what, and eventually, he will put that bastard down for good!

Askin, however, looked much more troubled as the fight continued.

'You damn...fucker' The panther king spat out as he grabbed the arrow that impaled him and shattered it with his paw. 'My Judgment?' He asks while slowly walking up to Genrade. 'No one...not you or anyone else has the right to judge me.' His wounds begin to heal while his spiritual power begins to rise. 'For I bow down to no one...' his features started to become feral as his claws and fangs became sharper, and his black fur grew more over his body. 'I crush anyone who looks down on me!' His face then became more bestial. 'For I am and will forever be the king!'

He screamed as his body fully transformed into a black and white spotted werepanther, While his Spiritual power exploded into a volcanic eruption of power as he rushed at Genrad and clawed through his body, breaking through his spiritual body and leaving a broken-like wound that quickly healed and empowered him. Only for another wound to land on the back. As Grimmjow's spiritual power continues to rise.

'The hell...that guy is still getting stronger even after getting impaled?!' Ginjo questioned in confusion, but Hashwalf looked like exception.

'As someone with all the powers of the Espada that would include the rage empowered of the prima Yammy, and considering he just activated it, he could improve himself that much more, and as for Genrade...he is already approaching his limit.'

Ginjou gave the headmaster a puzzled look. 'What are you...' and then he noticed it, for while Genrade was still healing from the Grimmjow's attacks, the empowerment he was getting from them was lessening.

'As you have sense...' Askin said while walking beside Ginjo. 'While Genrade may host the Reio's heart and inherent its power. He is still very much a mortal, and Ultimately, miracles and fortunes can only happen so many times before they inevitably run out. His body can take only so much power before it peaks and begins to break down.' He then looked at Grimmjow, dodging the giant strikes and slash, opening his chest. 'And at this point, the Espada just needs to evade and tear apart Generad bit by bit to wear him down...and that is not getting into the hollow poisoning that is also affecting him.'

Ginjou then grinds his teeth. 'Then we need to jump in and-'

'Get Slaughter in an instant?' Hashwalf sarcastically questions, and Ginjou looks at him in surprise. 'As of now, only Gremmy, Ichigo, or his majesty could compete with either of them, right now...which is why we can only hope that Genrad will weaken Grimmjow enough for the rest of us remaining to take him out.

Meanwhile, during the Giant's and the Panther's battle. The latter began to notice that his opponent's rising strength was decreasing, much to his delight.

'Hahahahaa! Grimmjow laughed out in sadistic joy. 'So it seems an unkillable luge like you has a breaking point!' He shouted in glee while shedding Genrad's helmet and exposing his face with his claws. 'But unlike me, I am just getting started, and once I am finally done with you, everyone in this city will finally acknowledge my strength before I slaughter every single one of them!' He Ranted, but Genrade didn't bother responding as he continued his seemingly vain assault.

Yet his mind spoke otherwise...

'How long has it been...' he thought as more of his wounds began to heal, but they could no longer empower him.

'Since I face such an unrelenting force?' As more injuries were inflicted and healed, his size began to begin to shirk slowly yet steadily.

'In which all my miracles were crushed by overwhelming calamity?'

Genrade then flashbacks to a time over a thousand years ago when they faced off against the Shingmai, who served an Emperor who wanted to bring damnation to all Quincy in revenge for what their Ancestors did.

Yet while all of them were fearful in their cruelty and might, none came close to one that frighted Genrade even today.

'Kenpachi Zarakai, The Oni.' He lamented.

'A monster in the form of a child who knew nothing of honor, duty or even sanity aside from his thirst of the battle itself and one that I fought with all my might to vanquish...only to fall to his overwhelming power and bloodlust.'

The giant then closed his eyes as he remembered his shame. 'But instead of vanquishing me, he let me live...in hopes that I may once grow more powerful and give a challenge once more.' he then gripped his fists. 'And so I train myself day in and day out to improve my powers and abilities in hopes that I could redeem myself for my lost...until another one came in and humbled me.'

Five hundred years ago, in the royal palace

'Unbelievable...' Perinda said in awe as she examined the two combatants. 'I thought it was a bit too far to allow the newcomer to challenge Genrade as a test of his strength...but you have far exceeded my expectations.' She then looked over to a young boy with short blond hair and a sleeveless vest.

'Gremmy Thounnax'

The newly appointed imperial guard smiled cheerfully. 'Thank you. At first, I was a little worried when that guy kept getting stronger, but in the end, I just had to outlast him, huh?'

Perinda chuckled at the boy's humor, and Lille huffed.

'Even outlasting against someone like Genrade Isn't something to shrug off, kid...and I can see you can get more powerful still.'

The boy's eyes lit up in appreciation of the imperial guard leader's praise. At the same time, Genrade turned his head away and walked off without saying anything.

Yet unknown to him, Yhwach, who also overlooked the fight, followed him to the out balcony, where he sat and, without saying anything, joined him.

'...is something troubling you, Genrade?' Yhwach asked, and for a moment, the Nordic man stayed silent before eventually answering.

'...For as long as I can remember when I first fought alongside my brothers in the wars waged on earth and slaying the spirits of the dead. I have always been regarded as the mightiest and strongest of all warriors, ' He explained as he grabbed his fist. 'And for the longest time, I thought I would forever be the strongest warrior, do to me barring the heart of a god that would forever grant me the miracle of victory, regardless of how powerful, great or daunting the enemy maybe...' His voice then faulted. 'But then I, like any other warrior, tasted defeat and, worse yet, spared out of amusement.' He then closed his eyes and took a deep breath. 'For many centuries, I honed my abilities to their peak in hopes of never being so humiliated again...only to once again undone by child'

Yhwach then raised an Eyebrow. 'A child that is an incarnation of the region's mind,' he corrected, but Genrade shook his head.

'A child nonetheless that will continue to grow stronger while I...have stagnated,' He lamented as his faulted fate. 'And I know in my heart...that others like Gremmy will come forward in the future'

Yhwach then remained quiet for a moment as he took everything that Genrade said and then said. 'So you are saying that if you are not best at what you are...then you have no purpose?'

The great man then looked away. 'I know...it may sound petty and childish coming from a man like me, but it is truth, and without that...I honestly don't know what to do with myself

Yhwach then nodded his head slowly. 'It can be empowering being the strongest there is, not to know defeat to overcome every challenge before...but that alone does not decide one's worth'

Genrade then look at Yhwach. 'For power by its ls very nature is fleeting, for it can be earned, stolen, inherited...' he looked at his aged hands. 'And can be lost just as easily.' He turned to look at the man. 'But the strength of character and the resolve to march forward despite knowing the inevitable inspire others to move forward. That is something that can never falter unless you allow it to happen... and abandon those that look up to you

The King's eyes shifted from Grenrade to his imperial guards, who congratulated Gremmy, and when the boy smiled directly at Grenrade himself, much to his surprise,

Yhwach then got himself from the floor. 'While many miracles are born from luck and quick thinking...' he smiled at the mighty man. 'True miracles are born from the faith of one's self... ' he turn to look at his imperial. 'And those that they believe in them'

Meanwhile, in the present, Genrade is nearly at his original size and standard form, and his enchanted spiritual power is gone. Before falling to one knee in exhaustion and around him, a massive, gigantic, drugged-up creator had formed around him and his foe. Meanwhile, Grimmmjow, despite finally reaching the limit of his own body, was still close to the peak of his power.

'So now you are back to square one, huh?' The Cero Espada spatted distasteful while grinning with glee. 'Well, it is about time you finally meet your match, Quincy. Especially when I am the strongest guy around here!'

Genrade then looked up at Grimmmjow slowly and smiled in contentment. 'For a being who declares himself the strongest...' the man said as he slowly got up from the ground before coughing up blood. 'Your resolve is sure shallow...'

The Espada then widened his eyes in rage and instantly plugged his right claw into Genrade's chest and where his heart was. 'You are nothing more than muscle-headed idiot who has only gotten this far because you got lucky with this heart of yours!' He spat distastefully. 'And once I ripped it out from your fucking chest and devour it, you'll be a dead muscle-head idiot!'

Genrade then coughs up more blood from his mouth but continues to smile. 'And Yet the same can be said for you...' he lightly chastised, much to Grimmjow's confusion. 'For I can tell... that you only gain this power by allowing the rest of your comrades die as you flee the battlefield...and only attacked when everyone else was weakened'

The Espada then sneered. 'Don't you dare lecture me when you are the one who is going to die, like all the others who are unworthy to earn this power!' He ranted while raising his right claw at Genrade's face, but the man remained passive.

'Power cares not of who is worthy and nor can it make up your lack of strength, discipline...or foresight'

Suddenly Grimmjow felt his arms being frozen by Peridia, who bound him with her nerves infecting him. But Grimmjow merely smirked.

'You think that you hold me in place I will just-!?' only to find he couldn't break out of it even when he used his full strength. Nor was his hero intense enough to burn through them while his body steadily weakened. This allowed Gerand to leap away from Grimmjow and Allowed himself to heal his wounds, if barely.

'You have already reached the height of your strength, Espada, and can no longer grow stronger from here on out, while the poison of Askin's Gift breach has now fully taken effect,' Genrade explains much to Grimmjow's dread. 'And it would be here that your death will commence!'

Upon seeing everyone else ganging up on him, the Espada then steadily began to panic before swallowing his fear and allowing his rage to take over.

'You think that wearing me down after I fought that self-righteous bastard of yours is going to be enough to take me do-!?'

But Grimmjow was interrupted when the Gift bridge suddenly shrank, wrapped around his chest, and began to overload itself with the death-dealing to the point that the Espada began to bleed from his mouth, ears, and eyes along with his veins straining against his skin, While Askin smiled smugly at him. This was followed by Hashwalf jumping up high into the air and unleashing an enormous white spiritual beam from his claymore that pierced The Espada's stomach and made them scream out in pain. Then, to finish it all off, Stark and Aura flew up high into the sky. With the former, Prima fires thousands of Ceros down on the Arrancar's head while the Chairwoman weaves them together with elements of her surroundings and forms another Dragon several times bigger than the ones she previously created, creating a great serpent of black molten metal and swirling greenish-blue flames.

Before, the fiery serpent composed down on the Cero Espada and denoted in a titanic explosion that stretched hundreds of feet across the earth and dozens of miles into the Sky, shattering what remained of the Senaki barrier into the stratosphere. While shining so brightly that nearly everyone in the soul society could see it.

Yet despite all of that...it still wasn't enough.

When the light of the blast died down, Grimmjow slowly but steadily walked out of the blast, breathing heavily and wreaked with immeasurable pain and weariness but is still alive and fully healed. While he chuckled in Victor.

'Heh...' he said woozily. 'All that effort and planning, and you still couldn't finish me!' He boosted while blue blades of energy formed over his claws. 'In the end, all you are just scum...weaklings who cuddled over to one another to survive, While I alone...am a king who stands above everything!' The blades began to glow brightly as the Espada began to rush at the wounded and exhausted Quincy and Fullbringers, but mainly at a blond man who stood before him, his eyes flared with unforgivable rage. 'Especially those who still dare look down upon me!'

Grimmjow then rushed at Genrade with the intent of brutalizing until there was nothing left of him...Only to be pine down by several Quincy arrows in the back, much to his shock. When he turned around and got up, he saw that the one who fired them was Uryu, but to his continued bafflement, the Quincy had wholly changed appearance.

Like Genrade in his Ulimante form, Ishida glowed white but instead looked like a vague molded form of a giant. The Prince looked like a genuine divided entity. With his eyes glowing a bright blue, his uniform transformed into elegant robes of matching white, silver, and gold, along with two pairs of angel wings that curved around him and a mighty, majestic white bow in both hands. However, many people in the battle were awed by Uryu's appearance. Grimmjow just scowled in annoyance.

'So another shitstain decided to pull something out of their ass to save themselves,' The Espada mocked. 'How many times do I must show you dumb Fucks that nothing you do will stop me!'

Uryu then looked over the Espada and sighed. 'It seems you misunderstand your situation in Grimmjow, ' the white prince said. 'It wasn't just Genrade that was meant to wear you down...but rather everyone that you have fought against'

Grimmjow then snorted. 'And you honestly think that makes a difference!?'

'It does...' Uryu replied plainly. 'For when you were at your full strength, Even I doubted that this divine form of mine could stand against you...but now that you are at half of your full power, that is no longer a concern

The battle-lusted man then laughed. 'Really, you think that you can take me down just because my strength has been reduced in half!' he then charged up his spiritual pressure to the point that rushed out his body like a tornado. 'Well, bring it! Because once I finished you off, there will be no one else left to stop m-'

'No...' Uryu interrupted as he dispersed his bow, much to The Espada's confusion, and stared directly into his eyes. 'I believe that this battle...is concluded'

Then, in an instant, Grimmijow felt an overload of injuries ravaging his body that was so potent and severe that it outstripped his healing factor and drained the remaining half of his spiritual energy, leaving his body bloodied, torn, and broken. At the same time, all the injuries he inflicted on the other fighters were thoroughly restored. Then, upon seeing this, a look of shock, terror, and despair stretched across the man's face as he collapsed on the ground in defeat.
