Angel: I've gotten several comparisons of Izuka's Quirk to Sailor Moon, some people even PM'ed me about this. I have not seen a full episode of anything from Sailor Moon, I've heard a lot of the anime but I never got into it. But as Izuka's Quirk develops more, hopefully it's not like Sailor Moon as time goes on. I've only heard about Sailor Moon when its lost media comes up, because I sometimes watch lost media videos. That's literally all the context I know about the anime. When I was developing her Quirk, I was just trying to come up with one that isn't in MHA at all, so there you go. If it is like Sailor Moon, that was just a coincidence on my part, because I'm not lying. I swear on my almost 9 years of writing fanfics that I haven't seen it lol. Which probably isn't saying much, but it's also all I can bargain to ensure that I'm telling the truth.

Izuku finally acted by heaving his arm back to throw just as Izuka raised her right hand... 'Even if we have a lot to learn...we'll focus on what we can do right now!'

Izuku's sole finger started to glow just as Izuka pressed two fingers together, her Quirk powering up as her hair flew around thanks to the shooting star. "SMASH!" Izuku threw the ball just as Izuka flicked her shooting star with her forefinger, giving her enough power to shoot the ball into the air. This created powerful winds from the both of them. Everyone gasped sharply as Izuku gritted his teeth. Izuka panted softly while slowly putting down her arms, looking up towards the sky with a small beaming smile. 'It hurts...but not as bad as before.'

The finger he threw with was the only one broken, while Izuka's fingers were slightly burning since she had never done her Quirk with her fingers before.

The balls landed...and both of them got 705.3 meters.

'Throws like those require a lot of force, even though she technically didn't throw the ball' Mr. Aizawa thought, a bit alarmed to say the least. 'Did he focus all that power into one finger? And she figured out that she produces her power, not the weapon itself to use her fingers instead?'

"Mr. Aizawa," Izuku spoke up, and he turned to the twins. Izuka glanced over her shoulder at the teacher, still out of breath. He clenched his fist as she held her burning fingers. "You see? We're still standing."

"W-We...we're not crutches now..." She breathed out, looking up to the sky with a heavy pant.

He looked up at them with a grin and wide eyes. "These kids..." He could only say about them.

"They both threw it over 700 meters!" Denki exclaimed towards the twins.

"Nice, they're finally showing us their true powers!" Ochaco cheered with a big smile.

"But his finger appears to be broken now, and hers seem to have burns on them," Tenya noticed from the two. "Just like in the exam. His Quirk is very odd."

"It wasn't a very pretty throw for him, but that star is still dazzling!" Yuga had sparkles around him in a bit of awe.

Katsuki shook with wide eyes, his mouth not wanting to close as he tried to process what just happened. What the hell were those?! If he had a Quirk, he would've gotten it when we were kids! This is impossible! And mousy...since when could she fire with just her fingers?! They're up to something.

"Someone I look up to...told my sister and I that we have what it takes to be heroes! That's why I'm going to UA!" Izuku told him when he was confronted by the bully.

Izuka's hands were shaking as she pointed her bow at Katsuki, not creating any ammo. "Let...let Izuku go...now. If you...if you want to get into UA without any trouble...then you'll get your hands off of my brother...i-if you can do that...f-for me...then I...I won't tell anyone what I saw."

Katsuki growled angrily, his hand shaking. "I'm getting to the bottom of this," He declared as explosions appeared from his right hand. Ochaco and Tenya gasped in shock as he raced forward to the twins. "HEY!" They looked up to see the pissed blond heading towards them. "Deku and mousy, you bastards! Tell me how you two did that, or you're both dead!"

The two of them screamed in horror at him, their hair standing up as they had white eyes. Mr. Aizawa's scarf appeared, pulling Katsuki to a stop. His hand was just out of reach from both of them, and they stared in shock. Katsuki glanced back in disbelief. "What? Why the hell is your damn scarf so strong...?" He grunted out to the teacher.

"Because it's a capture weapon made out of carbon fiber and a special metal alloy," He informed the angry blond. "Stand down. And watch your words with Izuka for that matter." Izuku and Izuka flinched, as they knew Katsuki wasn't usually one to listen to authority. Even their teacher back in junior high, the blond never showed any respect there. "It'd be wise to avoid making me use my Quirk so much," He then looked up with red eyes. "It gives me serious dry eye."

"Too bad. That power is amazing!" The crowd of students exclaimed from behind.

Class 1-A's homeroom teacher: Shota Aizawa. He can erase the Quirk of anyone he looks at, but the effect ends when he blinks.

He then pulled away his scarf to set Katsuki free. "You're wasting my time now. Whoever's next can step up," He waved a hand while walking away. The twins watched Katsuki closely as they stepped to the side. He didn't move, and that was the signal to run past him. He gritted his teeth in growing frustration and rage.

"Ouch, are your fingers okay?" Ochaco asked the twins in a bit of concern.

"Sure. Fine!" Izuku answered her quickly.

"N-no...need to worry about us..." Izuka murmured quietly, both of them earning an angry growl from Katsuki. He saw Ochaco inching towards Izuku, who had a flustered look on his face. Izuka was hiding behind her brother's back once again.

Until the exam, he was nothing. And before that, I only had mousy to keep an eye on. He clenched his fist tightly. Little bugs I could crush if I wanted to.

Izuku walked behind Katsuki when they were four in the forest. He looked up ahead with a blush on his face. Izuka was walking behind them, hands behind her back as she didn't look happy to be there. "Wow, you're so lucky!" Izuku exclaimed at the blond leading the way. He had a confident smile on his face while holding the net. "Your Quirk is amazing, Kacchan. When I get mine, I hope it's just as cool! Izuka's too!"

She looked towards the ground with shadows over her eyes, since...well, she already had hers. But she hadn't had the chance to tell him yet.

"Whatever, Deku and mousy, no matter what power you end up with, you'll never be able to beat me," Katsuki declared, flinching as he saw Izuka's face. He stared at her for a few seconds, wondering why she looked so upset. He gave a hum of thought and then scoffed, turning around. It was probably nothing for him to worry about.

Katsuki gritted his teeth; if looks could kill, the twins would not be standing right now. He's just an annoying bug...that I can smash into the ground. And mousy...is just someone I shouldn't even waste time with. That power of hers is nothing.

After that, Izuka and I had to fight through the pain as we finished up the rest of our physical fitness tests.

My fingers unfortunately couldn't stop burning. At least we had made big marks in some of the tests. But...was it really gonna be enough for the both of us to escape expulsion?

Izuku fell to the ground in exhaustion once the tests were done. The other students walked right past him except for his sister. He grunted as she offered her hand and he took it. She pulled him up with a small sigh.

The students then stood in front of Mr. Aizawa for the results of the tests. "Alright, time to give you your results. I've ranked you all from best to worst. You should probably have a good idea of your standing already," He pulled up his phone. "I'll just pull up the whole list. It's not worth going over each individual's score."

Izuku and Izuka were behind everyone else, still clutching their injured hands. They didn't wanna look, but they knew that they had to...and they both knew not that every single test was their best output either. The person ranked last is gonna be expelled. And the only test I was any good at was the softball throw! Can I squeak by on that score alone? I bombed the rest of the challenges!

Izuka nervously twitched next to him, her eyes full of dread. Mr. Aizawa isn't one to sugarcoat anything from what he's shown to be. I was good at only three tests, and nothing else. It's hard to show off your Quirk when everyone else is so much better...can I really pass? Can I really become a hero if I can't even prove to others that I can learn to be more capable? Izuku wants me to show my Quirk more...I can't do that for him if I haven't passed!

The screen was pulled up for them to see, and Izuku nervously opened his eyes. Izuka's hand was shaking and he glanced at her first. "...Izuku..." She murmured and he saw why...he whimpered in fear...as they were both tied for last.

We're both in last place...we failed.

And that means... Izuka couldn't even finish her thoughts as Izuku gritted his teeth, looking at his broken finger. Even when they tried their hardest...it still wasn't enough. And now they were both gonna be expelled.

"And I was lying, no one's going home," Mr. Aizawa suddenly revealed to them, earning shocked looks from the whole class. He then gave a big scary grin. "That was just a rational deception to make sure you gave it your all in the tests."

They all screamed, the twins especially pale as their hair stood up. Momo Yaoyorozu glanced at the twins with a small sweat drop on her face. "I'm surprised the rest of you didn't figure that out. I'm sorry, I guess I probably should have said something..." She admitted to them and Izuka let out a sound of horror that she knew the whole time. Her soul looked like it was gonna escape as she sagged her shoulders.

Denki, Kyoka Jiro, and Minoru all stared at her in disbelief. Yeah, you should have The three all thought in unison. But then again, they wouldn't have pushed themselves as hard as they did if they knew...

"That was pretty nerve-wracking, huh?" Hanta glanced over to Eijiro Kirishima with a small smile.

"Nah, I'm always down for a challenge," Eijiro grinned while clenching a fist.

Katsuki was staring at the twins the whole time and then looked away with a huff.

"That's it. We're done for the day," Mr. Aizawa told the students and then walked off. "Pick up a syllabus in the classroom. Read it over before tomorrow morning," He then left the field, everyone staring at him.

Izuku let out a huge sigh of relief, Izuka slowly calming down. "Finally, I can breathe again-"

"Midoriyas," The teacher interrupted her and they looked up in shock. "Take these and go have the old lady fix you both up," He handed them excuse notes for their next class. "Things are gonna be tougher tomorrow when your actual training begins. Make sure you're prepared, especially you, Izuka," And with that, he finally left, Izuka letting out a whine. It was now just hitting her that now she wasn't actually getting expelled, that she was gonna have to deal with Mr. Aizawa's...not-great opinion of her. She had no idea how she was going to get past it since he seemed to be the most harsh on the girl, more so than Izuku apparently.

We managed to make it through the first day. But there was so much we completely failed, almost. We're starting out at the bottom. We've still got a whole lot to learn...if I'm gonna achieve my dream and help my sister!

Izuka looked towards the ground a little, a small frown on her face. She clenched a fist tightly. I need to learn more about what I can do if I'm gonna keep using my Quirk. I need a good understanding of my abilities so that Izuku can see all of it for himself...and I can make him happy!

"Aizawa, that was a rotten move," All Might scolded the homeroom teacher. He came to a stop, glancing at the muscled man.

"All Might. So you were watching," Mr. Aizawa murmured and then looked up ahead. "No talk shows today?"

"A rational deception," The hero repeated right back to the black-haired man's face. "That's cute, but you're not exactly known for being lighthearted. I read your file. Last year, you expelled an entire class of freshmen students. You have no problem kicking students out. Anyone you deem unworthy. You were planning to send last place home," He then pointed right at Mr. Aizawa. "So that can only mean...you see the same kind of potential in Young Midoriyas that I do."

"What is this about?" Mr. Aizawa couldn't help but ask, since he didn't mention any of the other students, only the twins. He then glanced to All Might with a small smirk. "It almost sounds like you've been in their corner the whole time."

All Might twitched at the question; he couldn't let the staff know that he was already familiar with the Midoriyas. Otherwise he'd be seen as playing favorites, or they might think that he had something to do with them being accepted to UA.

"Isn't it a little early for you to be playing favorites?" Mr. Aizawa pointed out to him and then walked off. All Might stared after the man. "The twins don't have zero potential, I admit. If that were the case, I would've sent both of them straight home after class without hesitation. Not to mention Izuka gives off a bad impression already because of her being in the news trying to save that villain." Izuka fired off her shooting star arrow, and it dissipated the sludge around her target, the star flying towards the sky. "It's cruel to let kids keep dreaming of something that will never come true."

All Might continued to stare at him. He could tell Mr. Aizawa had good intentions. If the homeroom teacher really abided by what he just said, the twins would've gone home from the start. Although the number-one hero still had his concerns. "In your own strange way, you're a kind man, Aizawa. I know that," All Might stated to himself. "But clearly, we are gonna have us a problem..."

All of the students walked home, except for Izuka. Izuku himself looked exhausted as he sagged his shoulders. "I'm so tired..." He murmured before a hand stopped him from walking further. He gasped and then flinched in shock to see Tenya standing right behind him. "Hey there, Ida!"

"How's the broken finger doing?" Tenya asked instead of greeting him back.

"O-Oh," Izuku stammered in surprise. "It's doin' fine, thanks to Recovery Girl," He held up his bandaged forefinger.

Izuku screamed in pain as Recovery Girl moved her lips away. He then recoiled back in shock as the finger wasn't bruised anymore. "Whoa, thanks, that feels so much better!" His eyes then looked exhausted all of a sudden as he felt like he just lost most of his energy. "But, uh, I suddenly feel really tired. I need a nap."

"My Quirk stimulates your ability to heal," Recovery Girl explained while looking at Izuku's burns on her two fingers. "But healing takes energy. It's not my fault, that's just how the body works," She then kissed Izuka's fingers, and the girl felt the same result.

She looked very groggy as she groaned, leaning over a bit. "Get too many big injuries, your stamina will be shot and you'll die instead of healing," She held up a Pez of Kamui Woods and they held out their hands. "So be careful, you two."

"You mean this could kill us?!" Izuku screeched as Izuka looked up wide-eyed.

"W-We should...be really careful then..." She gave a nervous expression while looking away. "T-Thank you...Recovery Girl."

"You're welcome, dear. Although you'll need to do better speaking up one of these days."

Izuka let out an embarrassed whine, Izuku giving her a nervous laugh.

I can't keep relying on help from others Izuku looked at his bandaged finger. I have to hurry up and learn to control my power.

Tenya rubbed his chin. "I was a bit concerned by Mr. Aizawa's approach to class. But I trust the school's judgment. UA is the top program," He then crossed his arms in disapproval. "Even so, lying is downright immoral."

I thought he was scary, but that's not it. He's just really serious about school. It's good to know Izuka won't have to be afraid of him too once she gets used to the other people in our class. Izuku thought, as he felt much better after...Tenya's first impression of him and Izuka.

"Hey! Wait up, you two!" Ochaco called out to them both, and they came to a stop as she ran up. "Are you going to the station? I'll join you guys!"

It's her again! Izuku thought just as she came to a stop. Tenya then examined her closely.

"Oh, you're the infinity girl," He realized and she smiled at them.

"I'm Ochaco Uraraka," She introduced herself to the boys. "Let's see. You are Tenya Ida. And your name is...Deku, right?" She gave another smile towards the green-haired boy. "Midoriya? Your sister's name is Mousy too!"

"Deku?!" He yelped, wondering where she got that from. "Mousy?!"

"Uhh, yeah, isn't that what Bakugo called you? During the fitness test, he said..." She looked up in thought.

"Deku and mousy, you bastards!"

"Right?" She asked and he pressed his forefingers together with a small blush on his face.

"Uh, well, my name's actually Izuku and hers is Izuka. Deku and mousy are what Kacchan calls the both of us to make fun of us," He corrected the brunette.

"That's unsportsmanlike, especially mousy. It can mean nervous, shy, timid. She's certainly more shy than you are, Midoriya, but it's still not acceptable," Tenya pointed out to him.

"Oh, I didn't realize that!" Ochaco placed a hand on the back of her head. "I'm sorry...But you know what? I like Deku, mousy not so much. It could make a great hero name!" She smiled while clenching a fist. "Plus, I think it sounds kinda cute."

"Deku it is!" He declared immediately with a red face from her compliment.

"Just like that?" Tenya questioned in disbelief. "Weren't you saying...that it was an insult?"

Izuku turned around to cover his face. "Paradigm shift! My whole world is upside down!"

"Wait, what?" Ochaco stared at him in confusion. "Oh, that reminds me, where is your sister? I usually see her with you," She looked around for the green-haired girl. "I was hoping to get to know her a little better too. She seems really nice even though she was hiding..." She gave a small sweat drop.

"Yes, isn't she walking to the station as well? We should look for her," Tenya glanced around as she was definitely not hiding behind her brother.

"No, it's okay," Izuku waved a hand awkwardly. "She's uh...not joining us." They both blinked at him in confusion and then he cleared his throat. "It's just that...well, you see, my sister's never been able to handle big crowds unless she's with me. Because I'm her brother, I'm the one she feels the most comfortable around. Our class she can be fine with since there's only 20. But because going home there's a lot more people than she prefers, she tends to stay behind until everyone else is gone. I used to offer to stay and wait, but not anymore."

"Oh...I see," Ochaco rubbed her chin in thought. "Aw, that's okay, though. I'll see her in class tomorrow...maybe," She did look a little disappointed though, since she wanted to be friends with Izuka. She thought the girl was not only cute, but just looked like she never had anyone to talk to besides her brother.

"Aren't you concerned for her well-being? Walking home alone can be dangerous," Tenya pointed out and Izuku gave a small smile.

"I would be, but she's already memorized the route. And Mom's okay with it as long as she's back before dinner time. Besides, I know where she would be," He explained to the two.

"Well, if you're sure she can handle it, then I suppose it's fine," Tenya sighed a bit, waving his hands. "Although she should know the dangers of it one of these days!"

"I'm really sorry if she rubbed you off the wrong way, my sister's really great once you get to know her," Izuku rubbed the back of his neck.

"It's okay! She just needs some time," Ochaco gave a small smile. "You seem like a good brother."

"Uh...thanks!" His face turned red again.

"Well, now that I understand her behavior, I'll forgive it. I myself need to apologize for scaring her," Tenya looked up in thought.

"That's okay, I'll tell her for you. I think you might need to give her some space," Izuku gave an awkward smile. If he tried approaching Izuka again, she'd probably either hide or run away...

"Ooh, tell her I said hi and that I can't wait to see her in class!" Ochaco waved a hand in excitement.

"I will!" Izuku nodded rapidly at her.

And so, the three walked to the station together.

I survived my first day at UA. Even if I kinda failed. But you know what, All Might? At least I'm making some new friends! That's gotta be a good thing, right?

Ochaco and Izuku spoke happily, the boy blushing from her smile. And it also was just refreshing to finally have friends after being mocked and friendless for not having a Quirk. He just hoped Izuka could get there too. If anything, he'd be really happy if Ochaco managed to warm up to her. Not because she was nice and helped him, but because she seemed to be really cheerful and what his sister would need to open up with time.

All Might looked at a costume in his hands. You don't have time to relax, Midoriyas. Not yet. The real test begins tomorrow.

Thankfully, since I wasn't getting expelled, I went back to my normal after-school routine. Making friends is something I need to improve on though...

She dragged a hand down her face thinking about it in embarrassment. She must've gave people the wrong impression already by hiding from them...especially that girl who helped Izuku and herself a lot before they even got here. Or Tenya since he had called her out twice for doing so.

She was currently at the PE grounds, holding a small color palette in her left hand, and a paintbrush on the right. She had an easel in front of her, her bags nearby as she was painting a cherry blossom tree. Someone was currently watching her, though, and that would be...

"Hey!"

Izuka's eyes slowly widened as she turned around...to see Katsuki glaring at her. His hands were in his pockets as he stepped forward. She gave a terrified expression as he got closer to her. Bakugo-San's here?! Why? No one else is even around, what could he want with me? This is bad, I can't even call my brother to get me out of this since he's not here!

She stepped back a bit and he raised a brow as she dropped her paintbrush right in front of her. The girl then held up a shaking hand, thinking he was gonna attack her. He blinked from her instinctive reaction and grunted, looking away briefly.

"I'm not gonna kill you...yet," He informed and she bit her lip, not saying a word. He bent down to pick up her paintbrush that she dropped. She watched him in a bit of surprise and he held it out to her. "Here, mousy. This is yours, isn't it?"

She blinked at him giving it back, not even destroying it or anything. He knew a long time ago that she painted, yes, but that didn't stop him from burning her sketchbook. Maybe it was because he knew that art supplies were expensive...?

"Oh!" She finally reacted and coughed awkwardly. "Um...thanks..." Izuka shakily held out her hand and then gripped it. Once she did, their fingers brushed up against each other, and their hands lingered. They both stared at their hands and Izuka yelped after a few seconds, tensing up and grabbing the paintbrush back. She turned away from him and continued to paint. Hopefully, ignoring him would make him go away. He raised an eyebrow over what she was painting, looking over her shoulder.

"A tree? That's all? You seriously need a better inspiration," He scoffed and she looked away with a small grunt to herself. The girl then cleared her throat, moving her stuff and herself a bit further away to the right.

"I-It's...not about what's around me...that I paint," She mumbled as she dipped some green paint into her paintbrush, raising her arm to continue. "S-So...you want something...don't you?" She guessed correctly and he stared at her.

She's avoiding eye contact, and yet she was able to guess my intentions...

"I'm only gonna say this once, mousy, so listen good, you hear?" He narrowed his eyes at her intensely. "Deku's Quirk and yours too," She stopped painting and lowered her arm. "That's why I'm here. You're gonna tell me what the hell's going on with you two and maybe...MAYBE I'll spare you for the time being."

Her eyes were shaking as she couldn't look at him. She sweated bullets as she gritted her teeth a bit, glancing back at him. Is he serious? He came here to interrogate me about my brother? It's true that Izuku suddenly getting a Quirk would raise a lot of questions, but is that really so important to him? What do I do? Damn it...!

She then cleared her throat to calm down a bit. "W-why...why would I know anything-"

"Don't act like you don't know," He interrupted with a small snarl. "Or that I'm just gonna let it go when I've seen it for myself. You two were nothing, and yet out of nowhere, you suddenly have powers that no one can explain. So if you don't wanna die today, I suggest you start talking, now. You're his sister...so you'd know better than anyone else," He glared at the girl and it was a tense silence now. "And you're gonna explain when exactly you got yours too. No way you've had it and never used it at all until recently."

She looked towards the ground, a small shadow over her face. "...You...you have no business asking me about that. Go ahead...and kill me. But I-I won't...no...I'll never...risk my brother's life...just so you can have any satisfaction of destroying him..."

His eyes widened as he let out a sound of shock, watching her place her painting into a medium-sized seal so that it could dry. She then closed her color palette that had a slot for her paintbrush, placed it into her black rectangle-sized bag, and stood up. He then reacted by growling, grabbing her arm so that she couldn't leave.

"Get back here, damn it! I'm not done with you!" He shouted and she smacked away his hand a bit roughly so he could let go. Katsuki's eyes widened as she squeezed her eyes shut, shaking once again as that was too close for comfort.

"I-I'm...I'm going home now! So just...leave my brother and I alone..." She stated meekly and then ran off, and he could only stand there. His hand shook after a few seconds and he growled angrily, running after her.

"You think I care about your feelings, mousy?! Tell me what's up with you two!" He watched her turn the corner and grinned victoriously. However, he turned and she was nowhere to be seen. He let out a gasp as he looked around. "How the hell...DAMN IT!" He shouted to the sky, walking off in frustration. He would've destroyed the trees, but he couldn't damage school property, and she took that to his advantage. "YOU'RE GONNA REGRET THIS, YOU HEAR ME?!" He screamed as she was peeking from behind a bush, letting out a huge sigh once he couldn't hear her.

"I might as well go home too..." She closed her eyes as she stood up, still in disbelief. Katsuki was definitely gonna be less lenient with her as time went on...

Izuka opened up the door, taking off her shoes. "I'm home..." She announced wearily to her brother and mother as she walked in.

"Hey, Izuka," Izuku looked up at her. "How was your painting?"

"It was alright..." She stated and he blinked from her answer. Usually she'd be really excited to tell them all about it, but now she just looked a bit terrified. "I'm going to bed early."

"What about dinner?" Inko called out after her, only for the door to be heard closing. "Izuku, can you check on her for me?"

"Sure thing," He nodded in agreement, standing up.

Izuka flopped chin first onto her pillow on her bed, letting out a sigh. She looked at the headboard while hugging her pillow. She heard a knock on her door and she didn't even look up. "Come in," She called out tiredly and Izuku stepped in.

"Hey, you okay?" He stepped up to her and sat down at her right side. She glanced back and then sat up.

"Bakugo approached me on the PE grounds. He asked me...he asked me how you got your Quirk, and about mine," She pinched her nose tiredly; she'd rather not go into anything else before or after that. Especially since it wasn't like he could do anything during school hours without getting caught. Her brother then recoiled back in shock hearing this.

"Whoa, he did that? W-Well, what'd you say?" He stammered in a bit of a panic.

"Relax, I didn't tell him anything. I managed to give him the slip, but he's gonna make it so uncomfortable tomorrow in class..." She groaned, flopping back onto her pillow. She lifted her head up knowingly. "Which means I'm gonna have to...go home with you around the crowd to avoid him for a while...at least until he calms down."

"Would you really be able to do that?" He asked her sheepishly.

"I have to if I'm keeping your secret," She hugged her pillow. "I can't just tell him. That would mean breaking my promise to you and All Might."

"I'm sorry Kacchan upset you," Izuku sweated a little. "Who knows, maybe he'll get over it by tomorrow."

She highly doubted it...

"Oh! Uraraka says hi and can't wait to see you in class," Izuku spoke up with a small smile and she sat up, realizing who he meant. "And Ida wanted to apologize to you for being...well, a bit much," He rubbed the back of his neck.

"Really...?" She blinked in surprise to hear this.

"Yeah! It seems like they really wanna get to know you. Now all you've gotta do is become on speaking terms with them..." He sweat dropped and she fell onto her back, her soul escaping her out of sheer terror as her body looked pale. "Ah! Big sister!" He yelped in alarm at her reaction.

UA's Hero Course curriculum. There are normal core classes, like English. They meet in the mornings.

But then later in the day, we have more hero-work related classes. They're usually after lunch time.

Present Mic turned around to Class 1-A. "Now, which of these four sentences contains a mistake?"

Mina, Denki, and Kyoka all stared towards the board. So boring... They all thought in unison.

This really sucks Katsuki closed his eyes. Izuka was sweating nervously since...because her seat was actually between him and her brother. And unfortunately, it was assigned seating, so it couldn't be changed either.

This is so awkward...after yesterday, it's weird being right next to him. And not only that, he scared me...I can't believe he asked about our Quirks just because of my brother. Logically, it makes sense, but why would I tell him anything? Surely he knows that we're not on friendly terms...

"Hey everybody, look alive! Grammar rules!" Present Mic tried to pump them up.

Izuku gave a confident smile. The relative pronoun's wrong in the last one!

Momo raised her hand from the 20th seat. "Yaoyorozu, lay it on us!" Present Mic called on her.

We eat lunch in the main cafeteria, where we can buy pretty tasty stuff on the cheap.

However, knowing me, I can't handle the lunch crowds. So I usually find a more secluded spot to eat outside of the cafeteria somewhere.

The cook hero Lunch Rush gave a thumbs up. "White rice is the perfect comfort food, isn't it?"

Izuku blushed in admiration while looking up at him, Tenya gasping a bit. "This is super good," Ochaco smiled from the taste of her rice. She then turned to Izuku. "Izuka must be somewhere quiet, right? I hope she's not skipping lunch."

"Oh, no, actually," Izuku turned to her. "I usually bring her lunch before I find a table. She waits outside for me every day."

"It's good you're taking care of her when she's not willing to come inside," Tenya tilted up his glasses.

"I noticed she looked a bit shaken up, though. I hope she's okay," Ochaco frowned in a bit of concern.

"Huh? Oh!" Izuku blinked in realization that she must've seen Izuka worried about Katsuki. "She just...felt a little sick after yesterday. But she'll be fine. I gave her some tea when I met her outside."

"Well, that's good," The brunette gave a small smile.

Out on the entrance to UA, Izuka was sketching while eating some rice with the other hand. She was sitting on the steps. Behind one of the pillars, Katsuki was leaning against it, his eyes narrowed. Unlike last time though, he wasn't gonna say anything to her.

Izuka looked behind her in confusion, tilting her head as she felt like someone was watching her. But maybe she imagined it? She took another bite of rice before turning back to her drawing. Katsuki stepped out of hiding from behind the pillar, still watching her.

"But I-I won't...no...I'll never...risk my brother's life...just so you can have any satisfaction of destroying him..." She spoke up with a shadow over her eyes. His eyes widened as he let out a sound of shock.

He gritted his teeth, looking away. It was pretty ballsy of her to stand up to him like that, he'd admit. But it didn't change the fact that she knew something was up. And he was gonna find out one way or another. If he tried approaching her now, he knew he'd scare her off. And yet...for some reason, she didn't go to a teacher to tell anyone what happened. Maybe it was because she knew of the consequences or because it happened after school hours? Or...maybe because she was trying to not get him kicked out?

He gave a small huff while looking away. I don't need any favors from a mouse. Whatever goes in on her head, I don't give a crap about. He then walked off, his hands in his pockets.

And then, in the afternoon, it's finally time. Hero Basic Training.

The moment Izuku has been waiting for ever since we started school.

"I am...here!" All Might announced to the class, Izuku gasping happily. "Coming through the door like a hero!" He stood in the doorway, leaning into the classroom. Everyone then gasped in surprise to see him.

"I can't believe it's really All Might!" Denki exclaimed with a slight blush on his face.

"So he is a teacher!" Eijiro exclaimed with a big smile, clenching a fist. "This year is gonna be totally awesome!"

"Hey, look," Tsuyu stared with a finger on her chin. "Is he wearing his Silver Age costume?"

All Might walked into the room, waving his arms back and forth. "I'm getting goose-bumps," Mashirao Ojiro commented with a small sweat drop. "It's so retro!"

"Welcome to the most important class at UA High," All Might announced to the class, hands on his hips. "Think of it as Hero-ing 101. Here, you will learn the basics of being a pro." Ochaco nodded eagerly in agreement from behind Tenya. "And what it means to fight in the name of good! Let's get into it. Today's lesson will pull no punches!" He held up a card that said battle on it.

Katsuki grinned widely in excitement. "Fight training!" He exclaimed while the twins looked a bit more nervous.

"Real combat?" Izuku asked him from behind with a nervous expression.

"Of course it is," Izuka placed a hand over her face in agony. Katsuki was definitely gonna be brutal if either her or her brother would face him. After he already tried to get answers out of her...

"But one of the keys of being a hero is...looking good!" All Might pointed to the wall, where panels came out of it with boxes, all of them having a number displayed. "These were designed for you based on your Quirk registration forms and the requests you sent in before school started," There were five rows of boxes with costumes inside, one of them just a single block for 21, being Izuka's. They all gasped in excitement, cheering.

"Costumes!" Ozuku gave a small smile.

"Get yourselves suited up, and then meet me at Training Ground Beta!" All Might informed the class.

"Yes, sir!" Most of them answered in unison.

All Might then stood on a road a bit later, looking towards the entrance. He heard footsteps, and soon, everyone was stepping out of the shadows. "They say that clothes make the pros, young ladies and gentlemen, and behold, you are the proof! Take this to heart. From now on you are all...heroes in training!" He then gave a small chuckle, examining everyone as they stood in front of him. "This is getting me all revved up. You look so cool! Now, shall we get started, you buncha newbies?"

The clothing allowance. Before we enrolled at UA High, we submitted our Quirk registration forms; which included physical measurements and any desired costume designs to an exclusive clothing company designated by the school. With all that info, they created state-of-the-art costumes for us.

It allows Hero Course students to be able to train better if they have the experience wearing the clothing. Pro Heroes themselves always wear them, and are almost never seen without them unless necessary. Consider it a stepping stone to becoming a hero in a way. But for the two of us, we went a different route.

Three weeks ago...

"We need to go to city hall today and get our registration form for the clothing allowance," Izuku looked at some papers in front of him. Izuka examined her own while sitting next to him on the floor. Her hair was in low pigtails today, the ends hitting the floor as she hummed.

"Everyone's gonna be having cool designs, so we might wanna get that done too," She reminded him and he gasped as he remembered something.

"But I'm already registered as having no Quirk! Oh no, what should I do? The doctor already registered you as one a long time ago, so you're already set on that front," He pouted a bit towards his sister.

"That wasn't something I planned on happening, but Mom did it when I told you about my Quirk," She muttered back to him. She was in a white long-sleeved sweater with the collar wrapped around her neck. She had on blue jeans and black socks on. To be fair, when she told them about her Quirk, they went to the doctor to confirm it, and that was when she was registered.

He then called up All Might for help. "Quirk registration?" He asked while in the teachers lounge. "Yeah, you can update that, not a problem."

"It's that easy?!" Izuku yelped in alarm, earning a laugh in return.

"You know how everyone's examined and registered when they enter elementary school? Well, there are plenty of cases where people discover that their Quirks aren't exactly what they thought they were at first. You're allowed to revise your forms once or twice when you understand your powers better. Normally, they won't let you change it too much, but if you had none before, I'm sure they'll want you to update things. That reminds me, whenever Izuka starts showing a full understanding of her abilities, she might wanna update hers when that happens. Look, just-"

"Hi, I'm home!" Inko called out, alarming the twins. Izuku flinched and then hung up, to Izuka's shock.

"Crap! I hung up on All Might!" He screeched and then put his phone away. 'I'll have to apologize later.'

"You couldn't have just said you had to go or tell Mom you were on the phone?" Izuka gave an awkward expression. She then took out her own phone. "I'll text h-"

"NO!" Izuku took her phone and then tossed it across the room, to her utter horror. It hit a wall and then fell onto the floor. Before she could react, Inko opened the door and stepped inside. "Hey, Mom!"

"Oh good, you're both here," She smiled and then noticed Izuka's hand twitching as her eyes shook. "Izuka, what's wrong?"

"Um, nothing...Heh heh heh..." The girl gave a wide awkward smile. Inko then reached into her bag, pulling out costumes for her children.

"Congratulations! I'm so proud you two got into UA!" She stated with a happy smile.

"Are those costumes?!" They both stood up in shock.

"I guess I might have jumped the gun a little bit," She admitted sheepishly to them. "I brought you both food earlier, but you'd both dozed off, and I maybe happened to peek at your notebooks."

"Seriously?" Izuku wondered, as she had seen their costume designs on display from their books.

"Moooom," Izuka looked away in a bit of embarrassment.

Inko then gave a small sad expression. "To be honest with you...I've been feeling really terrible lately. About something I said to you. I think you might have felt that I gave up on you two a while back." She meant the day they found out that Izuku wouldn't inherit a Quirk. "But now look at you both. You persevered, and kept chasing your dream like a real champion. And Izuka, you look so happy coming up with new ways to improve your power, even though you vowed to never use it." The two then smiled happily at her. "I'm sorry, Izuka, Izuku. And I promise, I'll support you with everything I've got from now on!" She held up the costumes for them.

The two took the clothing in their hands, staring at them.

They're gifts from our mom, so of course they're what we're gonna wear! Izuku ran through the tunnel towards the light. It's not state-of-the-art or flashy, but they mean something to us. Izuku finally revealed his costume, also having a mask. This is it. My hero costume!

Ochaco gasped once she saw him. "Hey, Deku!"

"Uraraka!" He exclaimed as she stepped forward.

"Love your costume! Not too flashy, ya know?" She complimented, earning a blush in return. He then covered his mouth, seeing her own costume as sparkles were around her. "I should've been more specific about what I wanted. This bodysuit is skintight. Not really my style." She gave a small giggle while Minoru looked away, giving a thumbs up.

"I love this school," He commented and Ochaco glanced behind the boys.

"Hey, where's your sister?"

"She should be finished by now. Her costume looks really cool, so...I hope she herself likes it," Izuku glanced behind him. He, Ochaco, and Minoru gasped as she finally revealed herself, the latter blushing bashfully.

Izuka's hero costume consisted of a periwinkle blouse. Holding it together was a white ribbon that went around her neck to act as a sort of collar. In front of her blouse was a small white star brooch. The sleeves were periwinkle fading into white as a gradient, the sleeves stopping around the chest area. The white part of her sleeves were made out of silk. Her skirt was periwinkle fading into white like the sleeves, the skirt having pleating with a white star with a yellow outline at each end. The skirt stopped at her knees. Underneath it was a shorter midnight blue skirt, and the back of it hung over so that the shorter skirt stopped at her knees. On top of her head was a white headband, but had a yellow star ornament on the right side of it, with a thick white outline. Her shoes were ankle-length white boots with midnight blue lined cuffs and ribbons tied like stars, small ribbons underneath them. And finally, her hair was down instead of having part of it tied up.

"Ahhh, you look so cute!" Ochaco waved her arms rapidly.

"Yes, very fitting for your Quirk," Momo smiled encouragingly as Izuku moved around his sister in awe.

"Wow, you look so cool! Like the actual sky at night!" He pumped his fists as she stood there, her hands in front of her skirt. She gave a nervous expression as she did like it, but she hoped it wasn't too much...it was an old design after all, so she was surprised her mother spent all the time she did just to make it. Even the headband she made herself.

"This school just keeps getting better and better," Minoru murmured while drooling towards her. Izuku gave him a small look of annoyance. Katsuki stared at her from his spot, scoffing to himself and looking away.

"Midoriya looks pretty good, huh?" Eijiro commented with a small smile.

"Yeah, it's pretty killer. Blows everyone else to shame, I gotta admit," Denki replied and Katsuki growled to himself.

Those idiots… He then looked back to Izuka. She looks alright…maybe even kinda…good. He flinched and then shook his head rapidly. What the hell? Why would I think that? This is mousy here. I need to focus…

"We haven't properly met, have we?" Ochaco smiled while gesturing to her. "I'm-"

"Y-You're...Ochaco Uraraka," Izuka stammered quietly, earning a brief look of surprise.

"That's right! Wow, you know my name?"

"I-I...memorized everyone's name..." She rubbed her arm awkwardly. "J-Just...thought it'd help more."

"Well I'm glad you did, Midoriya!" Ochaco gave her another smile, rubbing her chin. "Gotta come up with a nickname so that we can tell you guys apart soon." She wasn't gonna say mousy, since she found that a bit too rude.

"I have a suggestion," Momo smiled, getting their attention. "What about Mido? That way we know which one we're referring to."

"That's perfect!" Ochaco pumped her fists, turning back to Izuka with a kind smile. "And it sounds cute like her costume is! Does that work for you?"

"U-Um...sure...you can...call me Mido i-if it'll help the class," Izuka clutched her skirt, hands shaking nervously. Most teachers would just say their full names when addressing them, so she never had a nickname before. Mido, huh? I actually kinda like it...

"Oh! I wanted to say sorry for scaring you the other day. Deku tells me you're really shy, so I hope we can become good friends, Mido!" Ochaco told her enthusiastically. "Maybe we can eat lunch with you?"

"Yes, I'd like that too," Momo nodded with a small smile. "You seem like a great classmate from what I've heard from your brother."

"Uh?" Izuka looked at the girls, trying not to tear up. No one had offered to eat lunch with her besides her brother because she couldn't hold a conversation sometimes. But here, Ochaco and Momo didn't seem to mind that at all. Is this...what making friends is like? "A...alright then. W-we can...have lunch together sometime..."

Izuku gave a small smile towards his sister, glad that she was finding kindred spirits with other girls in class.

Meanwhile, All Might took a look at Izuku's costume...and just how much similar it was to his own. To the cowlicks and giant smile in front of the mask, it was very apparent where the inspiration came from. He looked away while shaking. "You're so obvious...!" He muttered, looking at Izuka. "Although Young Izuka Midoriya's looks cool. Appreciate the skirt to reflect the night!"

Izuka's eyes shined a little while her mouth was agape. "He-he thinks I'm...cool?"

"Lucky," Izuka grumbled a bit to himself.

"Now that you're ready, it's time for combat training," All Might announced to the class.

"Sir," Tenya raised a hand, standing next to Izuku. Izuka was hiding behind her brother. He was wearing a costume that hid his face, so Izuku was confused at first on who it was.

Oh. So that's Ida under there. He looks so cool!

"This is the fake city from our entrance exam," Tenya pointed out with his hand still raised. "Does that mean we'll be conducting urban battles again?"

"Not quite!" All Might held up two fingers. "I'm going to move you two steps ahead. Most of the villain fights you see on the news take place outside. However, statistically speaking, run-ins with the most dastardly evildoers take place indoors," Izuku gave a small knowing look, as this was in his hero notebook. "Think about it. Backroom deals, home invasions, secret underground lairs. Truly intelligent criminals stay hidden in the shadows. For this training exercise, you'll be split into teams of good guys and bad guys and fight two-on-two indoor battles. Of course, because we have an uneven number of classmates, one of you will contain a three-on-two battle."

"Isn't this a little advanced?" Tsuyu couldn't help but wonder.

"The best training is what you get on the battlefield!" He pumped a fist in response. "But remember, you can't just punch a robot this time. You're dealing with actual people now."

"Sir, will you be the one deciding who wins?" Momo asked the teacher.

"How much can we hurt the other team?" Katsuki wondered, because of course he did...

"Do we need to worry about the losers getting expelled like earlier?" Ochaco questioned, not wanting another experience like the Quirk assessment test Mr. Aizawa gave.

Tenya raised his hand again. "Will you be splitting us up based on chance or comparative skill?"

Yuga then showed off his sparkling cape. "Isn't this cape tres chic?"

All Might shook a little, giving a small growl from the ongoing questions. "I wasn't finished talking...!" Izuku looked around nervously at everyone instead of asking a question himself. Izuka gave an awkward smile. "Listen up," He then opened up...a script.

A script? Izuku's eyes widened a bit.

He might've written that down as an idea for the class... Izuka blinked at it.

"The situation is this. The villains have hidden a nuclear missile somewhere in their hideout. The heroes must try to foil their plans. To do that, the good guys either have to catch the evildoers or recover the weapon. Likewise, the bad guys succeed if they protect their payload or capture the heroes."

"Sounds like a classic action movie setup," Izuku commented at this.

"Or like a retro video game," Izuka whispered to him from behind.

"Time's limited," All Might held up a lot box. "And we'll choose teams by drawing lots!"

"Isn't there a better way?" Tenya couldn't help but implore.

"Think about it!" Izuku smiled while holding up a finger. "Pros often have to team up with heroes from other agencies on the spot, so maybe that's the reason we're seeing that here."

"Yes, I see," Tenya agreed after a few seconds. "Life is a random series of events. Excuse my rudeness," He then bowed to All Might.

"No sweat. Let's draw!" He pumped a fist. "I'll call on Izuka in a second for her placement." Team A was Ochaco and Izuku, team B being Shoto Todoroki and Mezo Shoji. Team C was Momo and Minoru, which she was not...excited for a little bit. Tenya and Katsuki were a team, which was going to make things awkward given their first interaction. Then Team E was Mina Ashido and Yuga. Team F was Koji Koda and Rikido Sato. Team G was Denki and Kyoka. Team H consisted of Tsuyu and Fumikage Tokoyami. Team I was Mashirao and Toru Hagakure, which...was kinda awkward for the former because the girl was...entirely invisible. Aside from a pair of gloves and boots, that was. Team J was Hanta and Eijiro.

"Wow, what are the chances?" Ochaco smiled towards the blushing Izuku. "We're a team!"

Oh my gosh! I have to make a good impression on her! He turned away while shaking.

"Izuka," She flinched when her name was called by All Might. "Because you're the odd one out...you get to choose which team you'll be on, whether you end up being a hero or villain. It'll make a better experience to learn how to adapt once your role is chosen!"

"Pick us, pick us!" Minoru and Denki surrounded her, causing her to back away awkwardly.

"We wouldn't mind an extra person!" Eijiro waved her over.

"Ooh, we can learn to work together as a team before becoming friends!" Mina squealed a bit and she gave a nervous laugh.

"Um, C-can I...pick Team A, please?" She turned towards All Might. She did wanna talk to Ochaco about something, so she thought it was best to be on their team.

"Not a problem!" He gave her a thumbs up, and she walked over to them.

"I'm so glad you picked us! Now we're gonna be even stronger!" Ochaco pumped her fists happily.

"Well, it makes sense, she knows me the most out of everyone else," Izuku rubbed his neck knowingly.

"It'll be interesting to take note of how well they'll work together. Her Quirk is strong," Tenya pointed out to Katsuki.

"She's a weakling. She doesn't even know the full extent of her power, pathetic," He rolled his eyes while looking away. "Adding a third won't change anything if she had picked anyone else."

"You really don't like her, it seems," Tenya replied a bit awkwardly, earning a huff in response.

All Might then dug his hand into two boxes, one marked villain and the other hero. "I declare that the first teams to fight will be...these guys!" He held up D and A...which were Katsuki and Tenya vs the Midoriyas and Ochaco. Izuku and Izuka gave nervous expressions; of course they would be up against Katsuki... "Team A will be the heroes, Team D will be the villains. Everyone else can head to the monitoring room to watch!"

"Yes, sir!" Everyone told him in unison. Izuku frowned a bit as they started to walk past him and Izuka. He glanced towards Katsuki, who was giving the twins a death glare. He gasped and looked away, Izuka backing up in alarm. It felt like Katsuki was trying to deduce something about her, which was a bit odd...Izuku then gave a small sound of fear, clenching his shaking fist. He then looked up with determination, turning to Katsuki. The blond flinched and then growled at him.

"Bad guys, you can go in and get set up," All Might informed the five students. "In five minutes, the good guys will be let loose and the battle will start."

"Yes, sir!" Everyone except Katsuki and Izuka replied to him. The six were then at the entrance to the building.

"Young Ida. Young Bakugo," They turned to him before they could go inside. "The key to being successful in this challenge is to embody villainy. Think from the perspective of an evildoer."

"Got it!" As Tenya answered, the blond once again turned to the twins. They weren't paying any attention to him as Izuku looked at his gloves. Izuka adjusted her headband a little.

"If things go too far, I'll step in."

"Understood!" Tenya responded and Katsuki growled to himself, gritting his teeth in anger.

And so, the two 'villains' found the missile, stepping inside of the room. "Even though this is training, it pains me to be aligned with criminal behavior," Tenya spoke up to Katsuki, who didn't seem to be anywhere near him. "So this is the weapon we must protect," He then tapped it to make sure it wasn't an actual missile. "Fake, of course."

"Hey."

"Hm?" He turned around to the blond, who had finally spoken after a while. He was staring towards the door, his back to Tenya. "Do you really think Deku has a Quirk? And that mousy's had hers the whole time?"

"Hm?" He turned to his teammate in confusion. "You saw how he threw that ball. And how she used her fingers instead of her usual weapon to fire. Though I think his power hurts his body and hers seems to be stemming from raw potential. As if she doesn't know everything she can do with her Quirk." Katsuki then gave an angry scoff. "Why is it that you seem to be especially angry when it comes to the Midoriyas? In fact, at times it seems like you hold a bigger animosity to Mido more than Midoriya."

Katsuki didn't even think about the nickname, he was too busy thinking about the twins. Was he seriously just tricking me all these years? And she seriously hid her Quirk for that much time? My ears weren't playing tricks on me when I heard them talking. And now that I've seen her Quirk for myself and failed to get any answers out of her...it just pisses me off even more. He gave a big grin, with a murderous look in his eyes. I'm gonna roast those damn nerds today!

The twins and Ochaco were sitting outside of the building, waiting for the five minutes to be up. "Ya think they expect us to memorize this building's floor plan?" Ochaco looked at maps they were given. "It's so big! You know, All Might's just as cool in person as he is on television! I'm glad he's not threatening us with some kind of punishment like Mr. Aizawa," She turned to the twins with a smile. "We can relax-" She then flinched in alarm as he was seating profusely being right next to her. Which was the opposite of relaxation. "Ah! You're sweating through your costume!"

"Izuku, are you...are you getting sick?" Izuka reached up to touch his forehead. "Hm, you don't have a fever..."

"No, I'm not coming down with anything," He laughed awkwardly while gently pushing her hand away. "Thanks, though. But uh, well...it's just because we're up against Kacchan. Plus there's Ida too...we should be on our guard, who knows what they'll pull?"

"Oh, right," Ochaco gave a look of realization. "Bakugo. He's the one who's always making fun of you two."

Izuku let out a small sigh, frowning. "And he's amazing..."

Katsuki looked at the middle school students with a big grin on his face. "I'll end up more popular than All Might himself, and be the richest hero of all time!"

"Bakugo-San...is a lot of things...but amazing is not a word that first comes to mind for me," Izuka frowned deeply at her brother. Unlike him, her praise of Katsuki was not very high—and it wasn't hard to see why after he tried to threaten her not too long ago...

"Yeah..." He sighed a bit in agreement with her. "He can be a real pain, sure. But his strength and confidence...and his ambition. Not to mention his Quirk. They're all so much greater than mine or Izuka's combined." Ochaco let out a small gasp as they watched him stood up. "But that just means I have to do better," He pulled up his mask. "I refuse to lose today."

Ochaco blinked at him and Izuka stood up with a small smile. "I agree, little brother. If we're gonna face Bakugo-San...then we'll try our best even though he is very much stronger than the two of us. I still don't get what you see in him...but he'll see that we're not the same people anymore," She pumped a fist, the brunette gasping a little to hear Izuka speak so bravely without barely pausing. She then gave the two a small smile.

"...Wait, little brother? I thought you were older," The girl blinked at the two of them. Izuka let out an embarrassed screech as her hair stood up, her whole body pale.

"Oh...no, she's older," Izuku informed sheepishly to the brunette. "She's just shorter, that's all..."

"Aw, that's actually kinda cute. So it's a fated battle between rivals?" She asked knowingly and Izuku blushed, waving his hands rapidly.

"Oh, not that I'm trying to get you wrapped up in my fight or anything!" He exclaimed quickly and Izuka pressed her forefingers together once she calmed down.

"B-Bakugo-San and I...are not t-technically on the same level as him or my brother..." She murmured timidly while looking away. "I-it is true that...he dislikes me, and I-I don't...care for him either. But...for some reason...things just feel so different with him than with Izuku. A-And...we really don't wanna...get you wrapped up in all this, Uraraka-Chan."

"Are you kidding? We're a team, right? Let's win this!" She stood up with a smile, pumping a fist.

Izuku gave her a small smile, nodding in agreement. "See, Mido?" Ochaco gave her a smile too, causing the green-haired girl to blink. "You're starting to get used to the class, huh? You spoke something earlier without stuttering! And I'm glad I was the first one besides your brother to experience it. That must mean we're gonna be really good friends if you feel like you can talk to me, huh?"

Izuka stared at her in silence for a few seconds before giving a small genuine smile from the girl's enthusiasm. She could actually see herself becoming more and more close with Ochaco as time went on. And that after today, she'd make her first real friend. "Oh!" She blinked as she realized why she picked Team A. "I-I wanna say…t-thank you for…helping us in the entrance exam…and for saving my brother, Uraraka-Chan," She pressed her forefingers together. "If…if you hadn't helped him…"

"Aww, no trouble at all!" Ochaco gave her a sweet smile. "I'd do it again if it means that you can trust me."

Izuku hummed happily towards the two girls starting to get along. Even if it wasn't for Izuka's shyness, she never had a female friend before. And if he had to pick anyone for the role, it would definitely be Ochaco.

"All right!" All Might announced before any of them could comment further. "Let's begin the indoor combat training! Team A and Team D, your time starts now!" One of the buildings held a screening room, with five screens on display for the training. "Pay attention, kids. Think about what you would do." He then looked down a bit. Young Midoriyas! In this class, you're just students. I'll grade you as I would anyone else. He adjusted the listening device in his ear. Without playing favorites.

Izuku crawled inside a window first, followed by the girls. "And just like that, we're in," Ochaco told the two. The boy then looked down the hall.

"Careful, there are a lot of blind spots," He informed as they started walking.

"P-Plus...we might have to...worry about sneak attacks," Izuka glanced over her shoulder to the girl. "This is B-Bakugo-San we are dealing with here..."

The trio continued walking as Izuku pressed his back against a corner, peeking. They continued on as he looked around, the girls walking from behind. They walked in silence as Izuku thought about what to do. I still have basically no control over One for All. And while Izuka can shoot from her fingers, she can't control how far her shooting stars go. I can't risk using it. If I did, I'd probably end up killing someone. And Izuka's at best can be used as a distraction. He reminded himself of the attacks the twins did at the entrance exam. We'll just have to win with Uraraka's Zero Gravity, Izuka's Galaxy, and whatever I can do without a Quirk. I've gotta use my head. I took a lot of notes on indoor battles and fighting in tight spaces. I can do this!

Izuka stared at her brother's back, smiling proudly for how much confidence he was already showing leading the way. He glanced at her and she pumped her fists eagerly with an encouraging smile. He smiled and nodded at her. Ochaco glanced between the two and hummed. Izuku then gasped as Katsuki came up in front of them. He then lunged towards them while firing off an explosion. Izuku immediately pushed his sister and Ochaco to the ground, knocking them all out of the way. They slid to the ground a bit as he sat up.

"Uraraka, Izuka, you two okay?" He asked urgently as he looked towards the smoke.

"I'm fine. Thanks!" She looked up and Izuka examined herself.

"I'm okay too. I should've known...he'd do something like this," She gritted her teeth a bit.

"Oh! Deku!" Ochaco turned to him in concern as half his mask was now blown off.

"It's just my mask," He assured the both of them. They heard a noise, all of them gasping as Katsuki waved an arm to move the smoke away.

"What's the matter, Deku, mousy? Afraid to stand up and fight me?" He challenged them both.

"I knew you'd come at us first," Izuku gritted his teeth, standing up. "And figured you'd try to catch us by surprise."

"He almost got the jump on them," Minoru commented as the others could see this going on.

"Sneak attack, Bakugo?" Eijiro punched his fists together. "What kinda man pulls cheap crap like that?"

"It's a viable strategy," All Might pointed out. "He's playing the part. Acting like a true villain would." Although, considering he didn't know currently of the rivalry between them, he didn't know that to Katsuki, it was definitely not an act.

"It didn't work," Mina gave a small smile. "Midoriya dodged him!"

"Look, there he goes!" Denki exclaimed as Katsuki was running towards the twins.

"I won't hurt you two so bad they'll have to stop the fight!" He had a big menacing smile on his face. "Just close!" He lunged forward, only for Izuku to grab him by the arm. He then gave a shocked gasp, as the boy had never done anything like this while they were growing up.

"Whoa, little brother," Izuka recoiled back in bewilderment.

"Wow! Look at those moves!" Ochaco exclaimed as she looked on in surprise and awe. Izuku adjusted his body around so that Katsuki was behind him. The blond looked at him in disbelief.

Impossible. How'd he know? Sparks appeared from his free hand. He's not that good!

Izuku let out a yell as he then threw Katsuki to the ground with a hard slam. Katsuki let out a groan as it actually hurt, saliva flying from his mouth. The class all flinched in shock, the green-haired boy panting heavily.

"Kacchan," He started off as the girls watched the blond slowly sit up. "You always use a big right hook to start a fight. I know because I've watched you for years." As Katsuki glanced back at him, Izuka gasped in realization that he was right; she herself had known this from a long time ago because she had seen it a few times as well. "I analyzed every amazing hero, even you. I wanted to learn everything I could about them. It was all in the notebook you burned and threw away."

Katsuki gritted his teeth, shaking a bit. Izuku then stood up with a brave face, clenching a fist. "You can call me Deku, but I'm not the same helpless, defenseless kid anymore! And Izuka is slowly starting to change too, you know that! When was the last time she tried standing up against you? You hear me? We've changed! From now on, Deku is the name of a hero!"

Ochaco then gasped as she realized why he declared it and Izuka gasped too. Because...she never once stood up to Katsuki until she was accepted into UA. "But you know what? I like Deku. It could make a great hero name! Plus, i think it sounds kinda cute," She told Izuku, his face lighting up from it.

Katsuki silently got back onto his feet, and turned to face his victim. "Deku..."

Izuku was standing near a boy that they had seen Katsuki bullying. Izuka shook while hiding behind her brother. "If you keep on hurting him, then I'll stop you myself!" He stood confidently with his fists clenched.

"L-Leave...leave us alone," Izuka stammered quietly while still shaking.

And just like that same day, Izuku was shaking now facing off against him again. Izuka was a little too, though she was standing next to Ochaco.

"You're shaking in your boots, you're so scared," Katsuki called out tauntingly, sparks flying from his right hand. Izuku kept his determined look, but his body couldn't stop moving. "But you wanna fight me anyway. That's why I hate you!"

Izuka stared at him with wide eyes from him admitting this. She couldn't tell if he meant both of them...or her brother right in this moment.
