Angel: In regards to the 7 guest reviews I got, I'm only going to address one that I take issue with the most, in which they disagree on Izuka's attitude towards her Quirk. Hate's not a word she's used to describe it. She never wanted to use it because reasons that should've been already stated which I won't get into here. That's what the story is for, plus it does get expanded upon as time goes on.

Just based on her relationship with Izuku, why would she use it in front of him knowing that he was Quirkless? That's just not in her character. Think about it from her perspective: Izuku's the only person she's close with aside from her mother—at the start, anyway. Would she really want to do something someone can't have in front of family she can be herself around? I don't know how else to say this to make it make sense lol. Plus I am trying to not be so obvious with some of Izuka's relationships, the biggest one being Katsuki. That way, people can interpret his own opinion towards her. I guess it backfired on me XD

Katsuki was staring at the door, his back to Tenya. "Hey! Do you really think Deku has a Quirk? And that mousy's had hers the whole time?"

Tenya turned to him in confusion. "You saw how he threw that ball. And how she used her fingers instead of her usual weapon to fire," He informed and Katsuki kept his mind on the twins.

'Was he seriously tricking me all these years? And she seriously hid her Quirk for that much time? My ears weren't playing tricks on me when I heard them talking. And now that I've seen her Quirk for myself and failed to get any answers out of her...it just pisses me off even more.' He gave a big grin, with a murderous look in his eyes. 'I'm gonna roast those damn nerds today!'

"Bakugo-San...is a lot of things...but amazing is not a word that first comes to mind for me," Izuka frowned deeply at her brother. Unlike him, her praise of Katsuki was not very high—and it wasn't hard to see why after he threatened her not too long ago...

"Yeah..." Izuku sighed a bit in agreement with her. "He can be a real pain, sure. But his strength and confidence...and his ambition. Not to mention his Quirk. They're all so much greater than mine or Izuka's combined." Ochaco let out a small gasp as they watched him stood up. "But that just means that I have to do better," He pulled up his mask. "I refuse to lose today."

Izuka stood up with a small smile. "I agree, little brother. If we're gonna face Bakugo-San...then we'll try our best even though he is very much stronger than the two of us. I still don't get what you see in him...but he'll see how we're not the same people anymore."

"Alright," All Might announced to the class as it was Tenya and Katsuki vs the Midoriya twins and Ochaco. "Let's begin the indoor combat training! Team A and Team D. Your time starts now!"

Katsuki came up in front of the trio. He then lunged towards them while firing off an explosion. Izuku immediately pushed his sister and Ochaco to the ground, knocking them all out of the way. They slid to the ground a bit. Katsuki waved an arm to move the smoke away.

"What's the matter, Deku, mousy? Afraid to stand up and fight me?" He challenged them both. He then ran towards the twins. "I won't hurt you two so bad they'll have to stop the fight!" He had a big menacing smile on his face. "Just close!" He lunged forward, only for Izuku to grab him by the arm. Katsuki then gave a shocked gasp, as the boy had never done anything like this when they were growing up.

"Whoa, little brother," Izuka recoiled back in bewilderment.

"Wow! Look at those moves!" Ochaco exclaimed as she looked on in surprise and awe. Izuku adjusted his body around so that Katsuki was behind him. The blond looked at him in disbelief.

'Impossible! How'd he know?' Sparks appeared from his free hand. 'He's not that good!'

Izuku let out a yell as he then threw Katsuki to the ground with a hard slam. Katsuki let out a groan as it actually hurt, saliva flying from his mouth.

Izuku then stood up with a brave face, clenching a fist. "You can call me Deku, but I'm not the same helpless, defenseless kid anymore! And Izuka is slowly starting to change too, you know that! When was the last time she tried standing up against you? You hear me? We've changed! From now on, Deku is the name of a hero!"

Kacchan, Izuka, and I grew up in the same neighborhood, so we've known each other since we were little kids.

Time and time again, there was always a sighting of him in school or just by hanging around. I myself never really liked being around him much after a while. But I did it so that I could watch Izuku and make sure things didn't go too far.

The younger Izuku gave a nervous sound. Izuka was gripping his sleeves hiding behind him, her hair in a braid. They were in front of a gate, and the signs clearly stated that they couldn't go in. Katsuki didn't seem too bothered by this as he pointed up ahead.

"Come on! Let's fight bad guys!" He declared to the five. His three friends cheered while the twins looked a bit more hesitant.

"Oh, yeah!" Izuku pumped a nervous fist.

"M-Maybe we should go..." Izuka murmured anxiously to her brother; it wasn't like Katsuki would care if they were gone anyway.

"I'm sure it'll be okay," Her brother glanced over his shoulder. "I'll protect you, Izuka."

She gave a small whimper as they watched the four walk up ahead.

All of the other neighborhood kids followed him around. It seemed like he could do anything. Izuku stared up ahead at him in admiration as the little blond boy led the way. And no matter what he decided to do, he was always so confident. I thought he was the coolest person I'd ever met. Izuku's eyes shined staring at him, smiling and running off.

'Maybe it was that same admiration that the other kids felt that made them like Bakugo-San so much.' Izuka stared up ahead with a small frown at Katsuki's back. 'Nothing seemed to stop him, sure. But...if anything, the only thing I could praise was his confidence. Because everything else in him...just screamed to me that I shouldn't even be around him, since it was that confidence that always had him look down on the both of us.' Izuku grabbed his sister's hand and dragged her off, earning a small whine. She didn't want to do this, but if it made her brother happy for some reason...

A sweat drop went down Katsuki's hand.

However...after his Quirk manifested, he started to change. Izuku stood in front of the crying boy and his sister. Katsuki punched his hands together, smoke coming from them. He then gave a menacing smile towards the two. Izuka shook in fear, backing away a bit.

So much that nowadays, I can barely tolerate his presence most of the time.

Izuka and Ochaco stared up ahead from behind Katsuki. He wasn't really paying attention to the girls anyway, just Izuku. "You're shaking in your boots, you're so scared," Katsuki called out tauntingly, sparks flying from his right hand. "But you wanna fight me anyway. That's why I hate you!"

Izuka stared at him with wide eyes from him admitting this. She couldn't tell if he meant both of them...or her right in this moment.

Here's the sad truth. All men are not created equal.

That day I couldn't believe that I couldn't help him...and he has to suffer because of me.

When we were four years old, I learned that some kids have more power than others.

Unfortunately for me, I learned that fact in more ways than one.

Izuku continued to stare down Katsuki, gritting his teeth. Izuka stared at the two of them, clenching a fist. She could see why Katsuki was doing this at all...maybe if she had spoken up about their conversation, this probably wouldn't be happening at all. No, She snapped out of it while narrowing her eyes a bit. He still would've pulled this even if we weren't up against him and Ida-San...what would have telling Mr. Aizawa have really done?

"Bakugo! Come in!" Tenya tried to speak to him through the listening device. "Give me a status report! Where are you?"

Katsuki pressed his fingers against his own device in his ear. "Just shut up and defend the weapon! I've got more important things to worry about," He growled out and Tenya glanced up at the missile behind him.

"Are you forgetting what our mission is?" However, all he got in response was a click. "Hello? He hung up on me! This isn't the time for radio silence! We're supposed to be partners. Argh!" He gave a sound of frustration. Then again, he should've expected this a little bit given that he and Katsuki did not get along well. And he could tell that besides Mr. Aizawa's opinion of the twins...the relationship between Katsuki and the twins was definitely the most tumultuous one in Class 1-A.

"Hey, who's Bakugo talking to?" Eijiro couldn't help but wonder, meaning the listening device. "I'm not hearing anything. Can we get any sound with this video?"

"He's got a radio in his ear so he can talk to his partner," All Might gestured to a radio of his own in his ear. "I gave it to him before the match started. Along with a map of the building. Also, this," He held up a small piece of tape. "A roll of capture tape! Wrapping this around your opponent means you've apprehended them, and they're out for the rest of the game."

"So, there's a 15-minute time limit," Mina pointed out as not even two minutes had gone by. "And the good guys have no idea what floor the nuclear weapon is hidden on, right?"

"Correct!" All Might confirmed for her.

"Then the heroes are clearly at a disadvantage here," She gave a small frown. "A big one!"

"Real pros have to outwit villains on a daily basis. That's life," He told the class with his big smile still on his face. "Even when the odds aren't in our favor, we fight!" Eijiro gave a small laugh while Kyoka gasped a little. "All together!" He raised his fist in the air.

"Let's hear a Plus Ultra!" He and most of the class stated in unison.

"Monsieur," Yuga noticed something from the monitors. "He's on the move."

All Might then turned around in curiosity.

Katsuki moved his left hand to be behind him. Izuku let out a gasp at this, looking to the girls. "Uraraka! Izuka, go!" He shouted to them, Izuka gasping as Katsuki launched himself towards her brother.

"Izuku!" She called out in concern as Ochaco ran past her.

"He'll be fine! But we need to find that weapon!" She called out to the shorter girl.

Izuka glanced between the girl and her brother, looking very conflicted. If she left him behind, her brother could die. Katsuki wouldn't hold anything back on him...but she also had to win as well. And Ochaco could need her help...so what was she supposed to do? Izuku looked to his sister, determination in his eyes. She flinched as she could tell...that he would do everything he could to prevail in this fight. And she never had a reason to doubt him in that...

She bit her lip hesitantly and then turned around, running after Ochaco. Izuku gave her a small smile, dropping it as Katsuki swung his leg towards him. He blocked it with his arm as the girl glanced behind her. I believe in you, little brother...you can do it! I'll focus on helping Uraraka-Chan if it means you can buy us enough time! Just...please don't die today...

"Ballsy move," Katsuki pointed out that Izuku was letting them go. "Think you can take me alone?" He then gasped as he saw the very same tape All Might showed to the class. Izuku moved it around his leg. He's using the capture tape!

Heh. Hero notebook number 10, page 18! Luckily, I got to see Eraser Head's moves in action! What'll Kacchan do now? He glanced over his shoulder; The notebook Katsuki burned up was number 13, so Izuku had tons of notebooks filled with info on heroes. Knowing him, he'll be impatient and try another big punch!

Just as he predicted, Katsuki swung an arm forward, Izuku leaping out of the way. Katsuki hit the wall with an explosion instead. Katsuki glanced back while gritting his teeth. I was right!

The class could only stare, impressed. "The little guy's really good!" Rikido exclaimed with wide eyes. "Maybe he gets it from his sister!"

"He's holding his own and he hasn't even used his Quirk yet!" Hanta added as All Might was watching closely.

'Not surprising.' Izuku and Izuka threw their backpacks at the sludge villain. 'They've always been pretty good at taking action in crisis situations.' Izuka then fired her shooting star arrow. 'Plus, he spent years taking notes on different heroes.' All Might picked up the slightly burnt notebook while carrying Izuku over his shoulder. Izuka was getting over the shock of him standing in front of her. 'Notes that he probably spent hours talking to his sister about.' And as he guessed, Izuku was talking enthusiastically to his sister later that day when they had arrived home. She was sketching, but she was actually listening. 'He internalized everything he learned. Those lessons are in their blood now. That fanboy knowledge is paying off!'

Izuku panted while kneeling across Katsuki. And driving him forward!

Izuku gritted his teeth while looking towards the smoke up ahead. He kicked first this time. He's switching things up so I can't predict his moves. Does that mean he's worried?

Katsuki turned to him with an angry glare. He then placed his hands behind him, alarming Izuku immediately as he then turned around. The blond gave a shocked sound as he watched the green-haired boy run away. "Get back here, Deku!" He chased after him, only to growl when Izuku was nowhere to be seen down the hall. He then ran down the hall.

Izuku glanced behind him while focusing on running.

I'm not gonna be able to fight him at close range now. I need some kinda plan!

Katsuki came to a stop, looking between two directions. He then went to the right, but still couldn't find Izuku. He was now standing at an intersection, meaning that Izuku could be anywhere now. He shook in anger and then looked up to the ceiling in frustration. "DAMMIT! You and mousy were tricking me for years by acting weak! Bet you two have been laughing behind my back, huh?! I heard what you two were saying back before we were admitted to UA!"

Izuku gasped from this accusation as Katsuki was loud enough to be heard, and realized what the blond was talking about.

Izuku stared at his sister in the classroom, giving her a small frown. "You know, sis..." He spoke up, getting her attention. "You could just tell people the truth."

She sat there in silence as she thought about it, and neither of them knew Katsuki was listening. "...And why should I do that?" She questioned without looking back at him, a shadow over her eyes. "You already know I wouldn't do that to you, Izuku. So just stop trying, okay?"

Katsuki then let out another growl. "So where's that flashy power a'yours now?!"

Izuku let out a growl himself for the wild assumption. Even if Katsuki knew the truth about One for All, he would've never done that to someone that he looked up to as a kid.

"Let's see how it compares to mine," Sparks emerged from his hands. "Quirk or no, you'll never beat me, Deku!"

"That guy has some real anger issues," Denki pointed out; the twins and Ochaco were still running. Tenya didn't seem to be anywhere now on the floor holding the missile. "Kinda scary..."

All Might eyed Bakugo specifically. He just had a feeling about the boy. The Midoriyas told me that Young Bakugo thinks very highly of himself. And judging by Izuka's tone, she seems to hold him in contempt just as high. But this level of pride is something else. It may end up being his demise.

Katsuki kicked a door open, gritting his teeth. The room was dark, and wasn't holding anyone inside.

Izuku panted while hiding behind a corner, having sat down to take a breather. He glanced behind him just in case Katsuki managed to find him. Which would be a while since Izuku had already memorized the map. He then wiped his mouth with his glove. Good, he's completely forgotten about my team. Just like I thought.

Tenya had his arms crossed near the weapon, tapping his finger against his suit. If they wanted to send someone out to stop us here, it should've been Ida. He's way faster, after all. Katsuki blasted another door open, looking around. That probably means Kacchan's gone rogue. The two of them aren't working together as a team. He continued to intensely watch the spot next to him while Katsuki walked off to find another spot. If we had to take those two on head-to-head, our chances of winning would be pretty low, even with Izuka's Quirk. They've got such strong Quirks. He then imagined the scenario in his head. I can't go after the weapon right now or Kacchan will follow me. Then it would've been a fight if he had followed Izuku to the weapon. And if we both tried to take him down, we'd probably run out of time. So we stay split up for now. I have to trust Uraraka and my sister. They'll find the weapon together and Ida, and then I'll join them for a three-on-one fight. That's how we'll win.

Katsuki blasted open another door. I'll just have to capture Kacchan down here. On my own. Izuku then looked at his fist, clenching it. I can do it. As long as I don't get too close to his hands.

"STOP HIDING!" Katsuki suddenly screamed, getting his attention. Izuku gasped a little. "Come out and face me, you coward!"

Izuku's lip quivered a little. By the way...I've been meaning to tell you, Kacchan, He rubbed his thumb against his nose.

Katsuki stood over the twins, having just destroyed Izuku's desk. "You and your mousy sister are even worse than the rest of these rejects! You really think they'd let people like you in when they could have me?"

"No, wait!" Izuku yelped up at him in fear. "I'm not trying to compete against you," He moved all the way backwards to the wall. "You gotta believe me!"

"J-Just...stop it, Bakugo-San," Izuka stammered nervously while clutching at her skirt. "W-We don't want...any trouble."

I take back everything I said. And my sister...is definitely no mouse.

Izuka pointed her bow at Katsuki in middle school to defend Izuku, her hands shaking as she got him to stand down.

Only Katsuki's footsteps could be heard as he walked. He then recalled what happened when Izuku told him when the blond found out the twins were admitting to UA.

"Like it or not, you can't stop us!" Izuku had a fierce look in his eyes.

Izuka created her crescent moon bow and his eyes widened to see her still shaking. "Let...let Izuku go...now," She threatened nervously to him.

Katsuki stared at her intensely and then gritted his teeth. "...Fine. But I'm not doing it for you," He tossed Izuku to the ground, storming past her. He then shouldered her on the way.

He held out Izuka's paintbrush to her on the PE grounds. "Here, mousy. This is yours, isn't it?"

She blinked at him offering it back. "...Oh!" She finally reacted and coughed awkwardly. "Um...thanks..." Izuka shakily held out her hand and then gripped it. Once she did, their fingers brushed up against each other, and their hands lingered. They both stared at their hands and Izuka yelped after a few seconds, tensing up and grabbing the paintbrush back.

He continued gritting his teeth, looking at his hand. What was truly baffling about that exchange was that...he didn't even attempt pulling away, or snatching it back. Or even getting angry over it like he would've. He didn't know why, but something about his approach with Izuka just...didn't get him as spiteful as he would've with her brother deep down despite what his actions showed. Probably because he knew her long enough that just about anything he tried would've frightened her even more. And hating her...why couldn't he say that earlier to Tenya? He had no trouble admitting it to Izuku's face not too long ago.

"From now on, Deku is the name of a hero!" Izuku declared bravely to him.

"Go ahead...and kill me. But I-I won't...no...I'll never...risk my brother's life...just so you can have any satisfaction of destroying him..." Izuka had a shadow over her face, looking towards the ground.

He's just a little bug. And she's just a mouse.

"Wow, you're so awesome!" Izuku as a kid hugged a ball, watching Katsuki kick his around. Izuka was swinging around the monkey bars nearby.

"Whatever, this is nothin'," Katsuki retorted back and Izuku tried to imitate him, only to fall.

"Ow!" The ball he was holding rolled to a stop.

"Izuku!" Izuka swung down from her spot, running over and bending down to him. "Are you okay?"

"Jeez, Izuku," Katsuki looked down at them. "You really can't do anything right, can you?"

"H-Hey...!" The little girl turned to him with a deep frown. "T-that's not...very nice..."

He rolled his eyes at her. "And you can't even form a proper sentence around anyone..."

"C-Come on, Izuku," She helped him and then guided him away from Katsuki. "We're going home now."

"Aww, Izuka, it's fine, really," He whined at the girl, the blond only watching with narrowed eyes. He felt like Izuka was deeming herself too good to be around him...

"Look!" Katsuki pointed to a pail with Izuku's name on it. "You can read the last part of Izuku's name as Deku." Izuku himself gave a look of awe, the other boys nearby. Izuka went down a slide nearby since she didn't wanna be around them. But once again, she couldn't just leave Izuku alone with them since she was older.

"Whoa, so you can read that?" One of the boys asked in awe.

"Well, obviously," Katsuki gave a small shrug. "Deku. That must be what you call a helpless loser who's completely useless."

The other boys laughed at Izuku, who then frowned in response. "Why are you being so mean, Kacchan?" He couldn't help but wonder. Izuka looked up and saw her brother's expression, running over to them. She then kicked sand into Katsuki's eyes and he groaned, covering his face.

"You little...mouse!" He shouted as she grabbed Izuku's hand, about to leave. He then looked up with a growl and pushed her into the sand. She let out a grunt as she landed on her side.

"Izuka!" Izuku bent down to her.

'Why don't you two understand?'

Katsuki then tossed a rock against the water to make it skip, and it continued going. The three boys all gasped in shock. Izuka was sitting on the staircase in the distance. She had been staying far away from Katsuki after the sand incident. He himself didn't seem to care of her presence.

"Whoa!"

"Dude, that has to be a new record!" One of his friends exclaimed.

"I bet it is," Katsuki smirked, hands on his hips.

"Wow!"

"Heh, cool!"

Katsuki then turned to Izuku with a small smirk. "Where's yours?"

"Mm...well, uh...it sank," Izuku admitted in embarrassment, earning laughs from the boys. Izuka glanced away in annoyance. She would try to sometimes convince Izuku to not hang around them anymore, but he always told her to see the good side of Katsuki. Which...she just couldn't get there. Not after all he had done.

'Why can't you do anything right?'

Katsuki's hands started to spark, emitting small explosions. The class of preschoolers all surrounded him in admiration. "Whoa!"

"Awesome!"

"You're so lucky!" Izuku exclaimed happily at him. Izuka didn't seem to be nearby.

"Yeah!"

"Impressive," The teacher's assistant looked on. "I bet you that's gonna grow into an amazing Quirk!"

"Definitely," The teacher smiled at the boy. "A flashy Quirk for a future hero. It's perfect!"

Katsuki looked up with a big smile on his face, as he took this to heart. 'Yeah, you're right! I am amazing! In fact, I bet there's no one as great as I am!'

"Wow, you're so lucky!" Izuku walked behind Katsuki in the forest. Izuka was following behind with her hands behind her back, frowning deeply. "Your Quirk is amazing, Kacchan! When I get mine, I hope it's just as cool! Izuka's too!"

She looked towards the ground with shadows over her eyes. She hadn't had the chance to tell Izuku yet that she already had hers.

"Whatever, Deku and mousy, no matter what power you end up with, you'll never be able to beat me," Katsuki declared, flinching as he saw Izuka's face. He stared at her for a few seconds, wondering why she looked so upset. He gave a hum of thought and then scoffed, turning around. It was probably nothing for him to worry about.

Katsuki let out a growl from the reminder of seeing her like that. She must've had her Quirk then but didn't say anything about it. Hence why she looked upset, because any other time, she usually hid her face from him. And yet he had dismissed it when he shouldn't have if it was gonna come back to bite him later.

A worthless bug for me to smash. And for some reason, he couldn't think of doing it to Izuka. He headed towards a staircase in front of him.

"Hey, did you hear?" One of the boys asked as the green-haired boy was shaking on the ground. "Deku doesn't have a Quirk. Like, none."

"What? Really?" Someone asked as they surrounded the shaking boy. This was after he found out that he wouldn't get a Quirk.

"Yeah, it's called being Quirkless. I bet mousy is the same way too."

"That's dumb."

"What a loser."

"They're so lame."

The whole class started laughing at them, Katsuki looking on with a small smirk.

"Don't worry about it, okay Izuka and Izuku?" The teacher tried to comfort them. Izuka bit her lip, shaking while standing behind her brother. She held her arm behind her back, whimpering a bit sadly with tears in her eyes.

'You're a total failure, Deku and mousy.' He thought while staring at them. He glanced at Izuka, who for some reason did not want anyone to see her hands. She had a sad and lost look in her eyes as she was only half paying attention to the class. Katsuki blinked with an indifferent look towards the girl.

He then led the group of kids down a log, his hand sparking. "Forward march and here we go, members of the Agency Bakugo. Sound off-" Katsuki ended up slipping and falling off the log. They all watched as he fell into the water. Izuka gasped sharply at him.

"Kacchan!" One of the boys exclaimed.

"Hey! You okay down there?"

"Oh, don't worry," the boy with wings bent down a bit. "Kacchan is super tough! See?"

Katsuki lifted up his head, soaking wet. 'I was just fine on my own, Deku and mousy.'

"Hurry and get back up here!" One of the boys called out.

He turned around while rubbing the back of his head. "Sure! Just gimme one second." He then gave a small chuckle, smiling. 'I didn't need your stupid help!'

Footsteps were heard running over to him, and he looked up in shock to see the twins. Izuku extended out his hand while Izuka pulled out a small towel from one of her pockets. She then bent down to offer it to him.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" The little boy asked in concern.

"Here...you can use this to dry off," Izuka held out the towel further, not stuttering for the first time around him because she was concerned about his well-being. She still didn't like him, but ignoring him in need wasn't something she could do.

Katsuki's face slowly dropped staring at them. He had no idea why they were doing this...or why they felt the need to help him. "I was worried you might'a hit your head or something."

He then gritted his teeth angrily, as he took this to mean that they didn't think he could get up on his own. 'But you both looked at me like I was some kinda weakling.' He smacked away the towel from Izuka's hands, which was a force so strong that it knocked her into the water.

"Kacchan...!" Izuku stared at him with a fearful smile, shedding tears. "I couldn't just stand there and watch you die!" He admitted while Izuka closed her eyes.

"And...no matter what I feel towards someone...that doesn't mean that I shouldn't help them..." She murmured to the blond.

Like you both! But I'm not! Katsuki gritted his teeth, his eyes white in rage. I'm so much better than you both are!

Ochaco and Izuka peeked around the corner, as they had just discovered the weapon and Tenya. Found it. Now we just have to tell Deku. And try our best to stay outta sight until he gets up here. She was about to inform him when Izuka placed a hand on her arm, stopping her. The shorter girl jerked her head forward to Tenya.

"Bakugo definitely has a villainous side," He thought to himself out loud, rubbing his chin. "And that's exactly what we need to succeed in this mission. Although I will admit that his negative feelings towards Mido are concerning. As if he doesn't believe her claim that she hasn't used her Quirk in years."

"Uh?" Izuka blinked at this, earning a look of confusion from Ochaco.

"What's he talking about?" She wondered to the green-haired girl, who then ran a hand down her face. She was once again reminded of the conversation she had with Katsuki on the PE grounds. She then moved her hand away from her face, staring at her palm. That brief moment when their fingers touched...it felt so weird and foreign to her. His hands were warm, not surprising. And then there was that pause...

"Mido," Ochaco tapped her shoulder and she flinched in alarm, realizing she got lost in thought about Katsuki of all people. And she had no idea how the hell that happened all of a sudden. "Did something happen between you and Bakugo? You don't have to tell me if you're not ready."

Izuka glanced back towards the girl, giving a small sigh and looking away. She couldn't bring herself to lie to Ochaco, the girl was way too kind for that. Even though Izuka would rather forget about that experience...in this moment, she trusted Ochaco enough to confide in her a bit. "Y-Yes...something did happen...b-but it's not the time to vent about him. T-The only thing we should focus o-on is Ida-San..." She looked back towards Tenya. "I-I'm sorry...that I can't say anything more than that..."

"No, it's okay. I get it," Ochaco nodded with a determined look. "We have an objective here, and we can't forget that."

"Hm...I need to temporarily devote myself to criminal intent," Tenya spoke up with a slight edge to his voice, getting their attention. "Yes, I won't fail this trial and risk bringing shame down on the Ida family name. That means...I must now embrace evil...to become a hero!" He then turned around with a scary expression in his eyes. "Behold! I am the personification of villainy!" He exclaimed evilly, even having a laugh to go with it.

The girls spit out in both laughter and shock from this new change in Tenya. He's so serious! Both of them thought in unison.

"Hm?" He turned around as they tried to be as quiet as they could, but he noticed them anyway. "Uraraka, Midoriya, is that you?" He asked in a foreboding tone and they both gasped from getting caught.

"Uh..." Ochaco gave a nervous laugh, Izuka hiding behind her nervously.

He then pointed right at them. "I knew you would come here with Midoriya the instant that Bakugo ran off by himself and engaged with...Midoriya, or should I say her brother! Your Quirks allow you to float anything that you touch and to embrace the galaxy, but I've prepared for that!" He had a crazy look in his eyes while clenching a fist. "By hiding every object in this room so you have nothing to use against me, do-gooder!" He gestured to the sparkly clean room around him. "And my super speed can dodge anything Midoriya has to throw at me! My dastardly tricks have rendered you helpless! You've blundered, heroes!"

As he laughed evilly, they gave him bewildered looks. They never expected Tenya to be so committed to the role of a villain, even though he wanted to be a hero... "He really is...playing the part," Ochaco admitted to Izuka, who peeked over her shoulder.

"I-It's actually...kinda terrifying..." She sweat dropped a little.

Izuku was still keeping an eye out for Katsuki around a corner. "Um, Deku?" Ochaco asked into his radio.

"It's us. How are things with you?" Izuka questioned him next.

"I'm here," He pressed a hand to his ear. "I'm...alive. How's it going?"

"Ida knows that we're here," Ochaco reported to him. "Sorry. Right now he's monologuing."

"He hasn't attacked us yet. If he's informed Bakugo-San, then he doesn't seem to care that we're here. Maybe he just wants to focus on you..." Izuka gave a worried frown. If that was the case, then she needed to be careful around Katsuki from now on...he had already tried to get answers out of her after all.

"Where are you?" Izuku wondered to the girls.

"Near the middle of the fifth floor," Ochaco informed the green-haired boy.

"Are you close by?" His sister questioned and he gasped, looking to the ceiling.

"Right above me!" There were now 6 minutes remaining of their trial. He then gritted his teeth a bit. We probably don't have much time left now. We have to finish this fast or they win! He then clenched a fist. I won't give up yet. He then stood up, holding the tape. I can capture Kacchan. I won't lose!

Katsuki's gauntlet glowed red, the noise alarming Izuku. He gasped as the blond was standing behind him a few feet away. Katsuki then held up his right arm, never keeping his intense look off of Izuku. "I'm all loaded up."

Izuku flinched in alarm. "What does that mean?" He gave a small frown, since he didn't know what the gauntlets were for or why.

"Why aren't you using your fancy Quirk?" Katsuki demanded, and Izuku gritted his teeth in response. "Don't tell me you're underestimating me, Deku," He gave Izuku a big grin. "Get over here and show me what you're really made of."

Izuku was shaking again, but gripped the tape tightly. Katsuki wasn't going to back down anytime soon. And he needed to buy time so that Izuka and Ochaco could capture the weapon. I have no choice. I have to face him. Right now! He glared at his childhood companion, his face braver than his body. "Kacchan, I'm not scared of you anymore." He finally stopped shaking as he took a stance. "And my sister told me what you did to her! You didn't need to interrogate her just to get to me," He growled a bit, earning a snarl from Katsuki. The blond then turned it into a smirk.

"Since you're such a stalker, by now you probably know how my Quirk, Explosion, works," Katsuki pointed a gauntlet towards Izuku, who gasped in response. "I secrete nitroglycerin-like sweat from my hands and make it blow up. Imagine what I could do if I had a lot of it." He then opened up the gauntlet, pointing it right at Izuku. "That's right, these gauntlets aren't just for show. They've been storing up my sweat inside for one monster blast." He hooked a finger around the pin.

All Might, though smiling, was worried for Izuku after noticing it on the screen. No, he's going too far! He then held up the mic. "Young Bakugo! Don't do it! You'll kill him!"

The gauntlet was powering up, though. Katsuki had a wide malicious grin on his face. "He'll be fine as long as he dodges!" He then pulled off the pin, firing off a massive explosion towards Izuku. It shook up the floor as Izuku cried out, and the wall broke open. A giant cloud of smoke and fire came from it, and it caused the whole building to shake. Tenya, Ochaco, and Izuka all yelped while embracing the shockwave.

The students all gasped as Eijiro looked around in a panic. "Whoa, whoa! This is nuts!"

"Come in!" All Might called out for anyone to answer. "Come in, Midoriyas, either one of you!"

The whole floor had been impacted, a giant hole in the wall. Izuku grunted as he was on the ground, one of his sleeves torn up as his mask was destroyed now. He panted heavily while sitting up in bewilderment. "Is that...even allowed?" He wondered and then flinched as he could see a shadow in the smoke.

Katsuki let out a laugh. "These are awesome...!" He said breathlessly, as he hadn't actually tested it out until now. "The more nitro sweat that's stored in these gauntlets, the stronger the explosion is." His gauntlet glowed again. Izuku looked absolutely terrified by this new information, as he didn't think anything of the gauntlets until now. So what was he gonna do to capture Katsuki if he could do this...? "Go ahead. Use your stupid Quirk on me, Deku." He then came to a stop, his look screaming for a challenge this time around. "Even if you give me everything you've got...you'll never beat me," He stated with a crazy look in his eyes.

"Bakugo," Tanya broke character to speak to his teammate. "Answer me! What is going on down there? Did you cause that blast?"

Izuka gasped sharply as she realized something. She just had a feeling that something was going on with her brother and Katsuki. "Izuku...he might be in trouble. Let's make this quick," She turned to Ochaco, who nodded in understanding.

"Now's our chance!" She whispered and they both ran off at the same time. If we can claim the weapon, that means we win!

Tenya turned around to the girls and then gasped. He ran towards the duo. "Not so fast, heroes!" He exclaimed as Ochaco joined her hands together to make herself float. Izuka placed her hands to her sides and activated her shooting stars, allowing her to jump a high distance above Tenya.

One of us just has to touch the weapon. In one move, this'll all be over!

And then once we win, I can go help Izuku! I won't leave Uraraka-Chan's side to let her deal with Ida-San on her own. That's what friends do, right? She gasped as she realized that last thought and then gave a small happy smile to herself. My first...real friend... This must have been what it meant...

"Since when could Uraraka make herself float? Same thing with Midoriya and her shooting stars!" Tenya looked back in disbelief. He had seen both of them use their powers only on other objects. Or in Izuka's case, she fired towards the ground to make herself soar in the Quirk assessment test.

Ochaco gave a big smile as she pressed her fingers together. "Release!" Tenya activated the engines in his legs, going towards them. "This special move is hard, but it's worth it!"

"My-my fingers are burning, but...it's for my brother!" Izuka narrowed her eyes in determination. Both of them yelped as Tenya grabbed the weapon with his own hands and then moved it away from them. Ochaco screamed while waving her arms rapidly. Izuka gasped and wrapped an arm around her waist. She then pointed her hand towards the ground, firing another shooting star at the tiles to give them a bit more momentum. The two then landed on the ground, thankfully not as rough as they could have landed. Ochaco's mask fell off, as well as Izuka's headband.

"Admirable attempt, but your Quirks are no threat if you can't touch anything, or even have time to land a hit on me!" Tenya mocked them, Izuka's face planted into the floor. She looked up with a small growl, clenching a fist. She had to speed this up so she could stop Katsuki, but how? "I can easily keep this weapon out of your reach until time runs out!" He let out an evil laugh, the two sitting up. Ochaco gritted her teeth as well.

"Thanks for the save, Mido," She spoke up, getting the girl's attention. "Don't worry, it's not over. We won't let Deku down."

Izuka blinked at her unwavering spirit and then nodded sharply. "Y-You're right, Uraraka-Chan," She looked back to Tenya. "J-Just because he's playing keep away...doesn't mean we're down just yet..." She then gave a small knowing frown. Just hang in there, little brother.

"What's the matter? You look scared," Katsuki taunted Izuku, smoke coming from the hole in the wall behind him. "You dodged the attack, so you can still fight, can't you? Come and get me!"

Izuku looked towards the ground, at a bit of a loss. The gauntlets make it so he can use his powers at long range. I'm not safe, even if I stay away from him. So what do I do? He then pressed a hand to his ear to get an update with the girls. "Come in, what's the situation?"

"It's not good!" Ochaco exclaimed in a bit of a panic. Katsuki's eyes twitched at this.

"Are you ignoring me again? I'll get your attention," He declared, thinking that Izuku felt he was too good to even deal with him anymore. But Katsuki wasn't having this at all, especially not from someone he thought was beneath him.

"Sir, isn't this getting outta hand?" Eijiro asked in concern. "That Bakugo is acting real crazy. He's gonna kill 'im!"

"Not so," All Might answered back to the boy.

"I won't hurt you so bad they'll have to stop the fight, just close!" Katsuki yelled while throwing back his right arm. He then started to pull back the pin from his gauntlet. "Oh, he'll be fine as long as he dodges!"

Despite his fierce posturing...he's not actually trying to kill either of the Midoriyas. But still... All Might felt like he had to do something to prevent another incident like that. If Izuku had been greatly impacted by the blast, then he would've stopped everything right then and there. "Bakugo. Use that stored-up power again and I'll stop this fight. Your team will lose."

"Huh?" Bakugo looked up in disbelief.

"To employ such a strong attack indoors is inviting the destruction of the stronghold you should be protecting. That's a poor strategy, whether you're a hero or a villain," All Might informed the spiky-haired blond. "The penalty would be a massive loss of points."

Katsuki gritted his teeth; though whether it was because he got that lecture from All Might or because of Izuku, was a bit unclear. It might have been both honestly...

I know that as a teacher, I should stop this fight now. But...

Katsuki let out an angry growl and then yelled, recoiling his head back.

Izuku got onto his feet. "The pillar by the window. Get there now!" Izuku told his team, gasping as he looked up ahead.

"We'll fight hand-to-hand!" Izuku saw a very pissed Katsuki using his explosions to fly towards him. His eyes were white and Izuku stepped to the side. Part of the floor underneath him started to crumble and he gasped. Katsuki appeared right above him.

It's no good. I can't dodge this! I'll have to counterattack! Izuku held up his fist, which didn't go unnoticed by Katsuki. He raised his own hand. Like this! He tried to punch Katsuki, who blocked him off with an explosion. Izuku didn't have time to think as Katsuki flew over to him, landing behind his back. He then fired an explosion at Izuku's back, and he let out a shout of pain.

The students all gasped in horror watching this. "What was that move?" Eijiro wondered while Shoto narrowed his eyes a bit.

"He doesn't come off as a guy with a strategy," He pointed out about Katsuki. "But he's actually quite intelligent." Katsuki usually always acted first, but never without a purpose it seemed... Mina and Eijiro glanced back at him in confusion.

"What are you talking about?" Eijiro questioned, not understanding what that meant.

"He changed his trajectory while in midair using a blast that doubled as a smokescreen," Shoto replayed the moment in his head. "Very clever..."

"A feint attack like that requires an extreme amount of precision," Momo seemed to agree with him. "He had to calculate the physics and demonstrate control over his Quirk."

"Ugh," Denki glanced away with a small groan. "Bakugo is uber talented. I hate it..."

Izuku let out a grunt, smoke coming from his back. He felt like he could barely move. "Here it comes, nerd!" He gasped while looking behind him. "The famous right hook you were whining about!" He yelled as he swung his arm forward, smacking it hard against Izuku's arm. Izuku let out another shout of pain, being lifted off his feet. Katsuki then grabbed the arm, using his free one to make an explosion that allowed him to circle Izuku. "Deku!" He then slid his feet around, heaving Izuku above his head. "Don't you ever forget what you are!" He then slammed Izuku onto the ground hard. "You're a weakling!" Izuku groaned again as he could barely feel his limbs...

Izuka gasped while glancing behind her, her eyes shaking in fear. "No..." She murmured to herself as she had a sinking feeling in her gut. "Don't tell me..."

Izuku's eyes were blurred looking up at the ceiling. He's not giving me any time to form a strategy. I can't beat him without a Quirk after all. He's too good. I have no choice. I have to use it.

"This is hard to watch!" Mina exclaimed as they could barely process what was going on. "All he has to do is wrap tape around him, not kill him!"

"Bakugo's certainly acting like a villain," Fumikage spoke up from the back.

Denki scratched the side of his head. "I thought both Midoriyas were pretty amazing at the start...but he's completely outmatched in terms of combat power. Not to mention, Bakugo seems like a natural at all this stuff."

"We all know that Mido has some experience in long-range combat, but closer attacks isn't something she's well-versed in," Momo murmured in thought, her arms crossed. "So not even both Midoriyas seem like experts in strength..."

All Might's hand was shaking, since this was getting worse and worse... I should end this, but... He wanted to see what Izuku would do in this situation. Same thing with Izuka in how she could handle a villain.

Izuku sat up, panting heavily. For their sake, I'll let it go on.

Izuka bit her lip, conflicted on what to do. They were still running low on time, and they had to do something. Or else they'd lose. But at the same time, her brother might die...

Izuku looked around and then ran off. "He's running away!" Mina pointed out in a bit of shock.

"Not very manly, but he doesn't have a choice," Eijiro commented next to her. "He's outgunned. Unless he's got some kinda plan. It's possible..."

Izuku came to a stop, looking up ahead as Katsuki walked forward. He looked to be getting more and more frustrated. "Why won't you use your damn Quirk against me? Still think you can stop me without it?"

Izuku narrowed his eyes a bit, looking towards the ground. His hair hid his eyes. "That's not it..." He started off to Katsuki.

"You've been hiding your true power for years. You and her..." Katsuki growled out that last word, and Izuku knew exactly who he was talking about. "What's the deal, Deku? Did you two think you were better than me this entire time?! That she could hide her Quirk from me just to make fun of me?!"

He had no idea why Katsuki felt Izuka's hidden Quirk was so important, but he had no time to think on it. He was more so upset by the false accusations. "That's what you think?" He then remembered all of the times he spent admiring Katsuki. "You idiot..." He looked up with tears in his eyes. "You've always been stronger, Kacchan. I know that you're better than me or Izuka!" Katsuki growled while stepping forward. "Can't you see?" He clenched a fist. "That's why I wanna beat you. Because you're amazing!"

"You're even more of an idiot than I realized," Katsuki opened up his hand, and then finally stopped. Izuku blinked, recoiling back a bit. Katsuki then had a shadow over his eyes, not saying anything for a few seconds. "When?"

"Uh?" Izuku murmured in confusion as he could see the blond gritting his teeth.

"Your sister," He responded simply and the green-haired boy froze a little.

"Izuka? What does she-"

"Tell me when she got her Quirk, you bastard!" Katsuki screamed at him, finally looking up. Izuku looked towards the ground knowingly. He should've known that this would come up eventually if the blond couldn't get anything from Izuka...

"...When she was four," He finally stated with a shaken voice.

Katsuki gasped sharply in realization.

While the class was admiring Katsuki, Izuka was hiding behind everyone else. She had her hands behind her back, frowning deeply as she looked towards the ground. Because behind her hands, with no one noticing...her hands started to emit a small yellow glow, sparkles flying around them. And she couldn't bring it in her to tell Izuku right then and there...

"T-That makes no damn sense...!" He stammered in disbelief; if Izuka had a Quirk the same time as him, that meant...all those times he saw her upset...was because she hadn't told Izuku, or anyone. And that meant...that he mocked her out of proxy since Quirks were hereditary. For years, she didn't hide her Quirk because of Katsuki intimidating her...it was so she could keep Izuku from resenting her.

"It's true. She told me the week she got it. And I had to convince her to attend UA once I got my Quirk...because I don't want her to hold back anything. She hid her Quirk because she was trying to protect my feelings! When all I wanted was for her to smile again!"

Katsuki looked towards the ground again, his head spinning. Izuku couldn't tell what he was thinking; would he shift his focus to Izuka now? Or would he interrogate her again later on? He didn't know...but he could tell Katsuki was the most frustrated he had ever been. And he needed something to take it out on...

"COME AT ME!" He shouted and the two of them jumped towards each other at the same time.

The only other time I hear that much passion in his voice is when he talks about being a hero. Izuku gritted his teeth while racing forward. In order to achieve his dream, he has to do this. The two boys recoiled back their fists while lunging towards each other. Not for me, but for himself!

Izuku's fist started to glow, his sleeve ripping off entirely. Katsuki started to charge up an explosion, and then a flame started to burn.

"Detroit..." Izuku started off while Katsuki let out an angry yell.

"They're gonna kill each other!" Eijiro screeched in shock. "Sir!"

All Might was shaking, still doubting whether or not letting this play out was the right decision. The two boys screamed as they got closer and closer to each other. All Might finally gave in and held the microphone to his lips. "Both of you, stop-!"

"Uraraka, Izuka, now!" Izuku shouted loud enough for them to hear, alarming everyone.

"Right!" Ochaco hugged the wall while Izuka held up her hands in front of her. Tenya gasped while Izuku stared down Katsuki's fierce look.

I can't beat you. Not in a one-on-one fight like this. But I can win!

"SMASH!" Izuku threw up his fist, hitting the ceiling while dodging Katsuki's blast. This caused a wind tornado, Katsuki gasping sharply as all of the windows broke, and the giant wind blast went off into the sky. Tenya had to hug a wall himself as Izuka spun around, creating her moon bow in midair. She then pointed it upwards, Tenya gasping as he looked towards them.

"What's happening?!" He screeched as Ochaco used her gravity on the pillar she was holding.

"This is it! Sorry, Ida!" She called out as Izuka pulled back the string from her bow, but not too far back, narrowing her eyes. "Improvised special move..."

"The Comet Home Run!" Both of them exclaimed as Izuka fired her shooting star just in front of the pillar. Ochaco then swung it and a bunch of rocks, the pillar acting as her baseball bat.

"In the name of villainy, I demand that you stop this!" Tenya cried out while bracing himself, but the shooting star didn't actually hit him. Nor did the rocks, actually. Instead, they flew right past him, the girls jumping over him. Izuka landed on top of her shooting star, riding it like a surfboard.

"Release!" Ochaco pressed her fingers together, shocking Tenya as the two then grabbed the weapon in relief. "We've got it!"

Tenya recoiled back in shock at the two. "No! The weapon!" He cried out while Izuka jumped off.

"Nice work, Urakaka-Chan," She glanced up at her partner in exhaustion.

"You too," The girl smiled down at Izuka. "Good work controlling your shooting star at a short distance. Go ahead and check on your brother. You can count on me!"

Izuka nodded gratefully and then ran off, jumping through the hole.

Katsuki looked up at the destroyed ceiling, shaking while trying to get over what just happened. "This was your big plan...from the very beginning, wasn't it? You were playing me this entire time, you bastard!"

"I wasn't...going to use it," Izuku revealed, earning a grunt from Katsuki. He then let out a small whimper. "Because I can't control it. My body just can't handle...the backlash of my power yet," His entire arm was broken now. "Mr. Aizawa said my sister and I would be useless. But this was all...that I...could think of."

Katsuki let out a small gasp, seeing that Izuku's other arm was also covered in soot. "This is the only way...I had any chance at winning."

"It's over..." They heard and turned around to see Izuka pointing her bow right at Katsuki. "E-Even if it ended up with him getting hurt...h-he still managed...to execute his plan like he wanted...so while he didn't beat you...you've lost," She panted out and Katsuki flinched at her telling him this. He shook a bit and then pointed his hand at her. She placed her fingers along the string of her bow, about to fire. The two stared each other down with glares on their faces, neither one of them backing down. Then time ran out completely, almost everyone in utter surprise of what they just witnessed.

"...You did it," All Might breathed out into the microphone. Izuku then fell to the side, his gear falling off. "The hero team...wins!" Izuku fell to the ground unconscious. Katsuki could only stand there as Izuka dropped her weapon, rushing over to her brother while calling out to him.
