Angel: Uploading out of schedule once again, but this is so exciting I feel like I couldn't wait on this. I talked to a Youtuber recently, MHA Deku Fanfics, about him promoting this story. I said yes, and so, he's made an audiobook I think is the correct term of the first four chapters of the story! This is a huge deal for me, just oh my god. I am so happy about this, and I wanted to tell you all. If you guys want something like that for this particular story if you prefer it in audiobook, go check out the video What If Deku had a twin sister Part 1 from MHA Deku Fanfics. Again, that is the video What If Deku had a twin sister Part 1 from MHA Deku Fanfics on Youtube. It's only the first four chapters because I'm not that far ahead into the story to upload more currently.

And so, I'm uploading early for him and to show him how grateful I am about this. Give him some love if you wanna see a Part 2 video with the next four chapters. And also, let's just give him some love in general for promoting this story. Thank you so much, MHA Deku Fanfics.

"Wow, you're so lucky!" Izuku walked behind Katsuki in the forest. Izuka was following behind with her hands behind her back, frowning deeply. "Your Quirk is amazing, Kacchan! When I get mine, I hope it's just as cool! Izuka's too!"

She looked towards the ground with shadows in her eyes.

"Whatever, Deku and mousy, no matter what power you end up with, you'll never be able to beat me," Katsuki declared, flinching as he saw Izuka's face. He stared at her for a few seconds, wondering why she looked so upset. He gave a hum of thought and then scoffed, turning around. It was probably nothing for him to worry about.

Katsuki gritted his teeth; if looks could kill, the twins would not be standing right now. 'He's just a little bug. And mousy...is just someone I shouldn't even waste time with. That power of hers is nothing.'

Izuku gritted his teeth while racing forward. 'Until the exam, he was nothing. And before that, I only had mousy to keep an eye on.' Katsuki ran towards Izuku. 'Little bugs I could crush if I wanted to.' The two boys recoiled back their fists while lunging towards each other. Izuku's fist started to glow, his sleeve ripping off entirely.

"So where's that flashy power a'yours now?!" Katsuki started to charge up an explosion, and then a flame started to burn. "DAMMIT! You and mousy were tricking me for years by acting weak. Bet you two have been laughing behind my back, huh?! I heard what you two were saying back before we were admitted to UA!"

The two boys yelled while getting closer. "Let's see how your power compares to mine. Quirk or no, you'll never beat me, Deku!"

Izuku threw up his fist, hitting the ceiling while dodging Katsuki's blast. This caused a wind tornado, Katsuki gasping sharply as all of the windows broke, and the giant wind blast went off into the sky. Izuka spun around, creating her moon bow in midair. She then pointed it upwards.

"What's happening?!" Tenya screeched as Ochaco used her gravity on the pillar she was holding. Izuka pulled back the string from her bow, but not too far back, narrowing her eyes.

"Improvised special move..." Ochaco started off with a smile.

"The Comet Home Run!" Both of them exclaimed as Izuka fired her shooting star just in front of the pillar. Ochaco then swung it and a bunch of rocks, the pillar acting as her baseball bat.

"In the name of villainy, stop this!" Tenya cried out while bracing himself. The two girls then grabbed the weapon in relief.

"We've got it!"

Tenya recoiled back in shock at the two. Izuka jumped off and then nodded gratefully at Ochaco. She ran off, jumping through the hole.

Katsuki looked up at the destroyed ceiling, shaking while trying to get over what just happened. "So this was your big plan."

"I wasn't...going to use it," Izuku revealed, earning a grunt from Katsuki. He then let out a small whimper. "Because I can't control it. My body just can't handle...the backlash of my power yet," His entire arm was broken now. "Mr. Aizawa said my sister and I would be useless. But this was all...that I...could think of."

Katsuki let out a small gasp, seeing that Izuku's other arm was covered in soot. "This is the only way...I had any chance at winning."

"It's over..." They heard and turned around to see Izuka pointing her bow right at Katsuki. "E-Even if it ended up with him getting hurt...h-he still managed...to execute his plan like he wanted...so while he didn't beat you...you've lost," She panted out and Katsuki flinched at her telling him this. He shook a bit and then pointed his hand at her. She placed her fingers along the string of her bow, about to fire. The two of them stared each other down with glares, neither of them backing down.

'Someone I look up to told my sister and I...' The twins reached out to Katsuki after he fell in the water. They then tried to save him with the sludge villain. 'That we can become heroes!' Izuku fell to the ground unconscious. Kastuki could only stand there as Izuka dropped her weapon, rushing over to her brother while calling out to him.

"That's why we applied. Like it or not, you can't stop us!"

Katsuki continued to stare as Izuka shook her brother in concern, calling out to him. And that was the only thing heard as the blond stood there with his mouth open. His eyes were also shaking as he couldn't even react...

"Your indoor combat training is over," All Might announced to the two teams. The building was badly damaged to say the least. Ochaco slid down the weapon with a small groan, Tenya breaking character as he waved his arms around.

"Are you okay?!" He asked her in a panic.

"The hero team wins!" All Might stated while Izuku wasn't waking up. The whole class stood there in shock of what just happened.

"What a weird way for this to end," Denki commented since the hero team wasn't looking so great. Tenya was rubbing Ochaco's back as she tried not to hurl. The amount she flung at Tenya turned out to be too much for her. "The losers are practically untouched, and the winners are all on the ground." Katsuki was still in shock while Izuka continued shaking her brother and then placed him on her lap, biting her lip.

"How does the old saying go?" Fumikage closed his eyes in thought. "They may've lost the battle, but they won the war."

"This class is intense," Tsuyu stated next to him.

All Might watched as the robots started hauling Izuku away. Izuka walked after him with a small frown on her face. "To the nurse's office," A transport-bot announced as they went past All Might.

"I know!" The second one replied and All Might stared at Izuka.

"Young Midoriya," He called out and she stopped, glancing over her shoulder. "I...want you to know that I did want to stop them. I should've...but I didn't, and I do apologize. I...hope you can forgive me." She blinked and then sighed slowly.

"Well...you didn't mean for it to go this far, and that's something I can't really ignore. And you weren't the one that caused him to pass out," She gave Katsuki a small glare. "So...while I do forgive you," She turned back towards up ahead. "You should've stopped it the moment Bakugo-San set off that big explosion. My brother already broke his limbs just to be here. This kind of teaching has to change, All Might. I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle something like this again."

"Mm..." He looked away from her, knowing that she was saying this out of concern for Izuku. And if he continued acting this way as a teacher...it could be worse than this for the boy. "I...I understand. I promise I'll improve for your sake. You're both excused for the rest of the class. If necessary, I'll write the both of you passes if he hasn't recovered by next class."

She didn't say anything and walked off to go and make sure Izuku was okay. He then turned to Katsuki, and he was not even paying attention to their conversation. Instead, he was looking at his shaking hand. He felt like his whole body was numb now.

My attacks...Deku predicted them. He and Mousy both made me look like an idiot. And somehow managed to win the exercise. He continued shaking as he couldn't register anything else going on. "You've always been stronger, Kacchan. Can't you see?" Katsuki made his hand into a fist. "That's why I wanna beat you! Because you're amazing!" Those words were just too hard for Katsuki to process, since he still couldn't understand why...why Izuku thought he could beat him, or why he couldn't stop thinking about Izuka's hands when he confronted her.

"B-But I wont...no...I'll never...risk my brother's life...just so you can have any satisfaction of destroying him..."

Katsuki felt like he was having a panic attack as it felt like their words were replaying for him. A scary thought came to him about the twins. Because of Izuku's sudden new Quirk and Izuka starting to get more assertive with him...it could mean a big change in the power dynamics. Does this mean that if we really fought...if we didn't hold back at all...Deku and mousy...would beat me with their Quirks? And that she's not really a mouse anymore like she's always been? Why do I even keep thinking about someone like her?

All Might placed a hand on his shoulder and that was enough to snap him out of it. "Young Bakugo. Cool your jets," He told the boy, earning nothing in response. "Let's go review your work. Whether you win or lose, you can always take something away from an experience like this. As long as you're open to learning."

The two then returned to the rest of the class to go over the results. Which was of course that Team A won, and Team D lost. "Well, despite the results. The MVP of this exercise is Young Ida!"

Tenya flinched in shock while everyone gasped. Izuku and Izuka were still headed to the nurse's office, so they'd be out for a while. Katsuki was looking towards the ground while Ochaco was still looking a little sick to her stomach thanks to overusing her Quirk. "Huh?!" Tenya couldn't believe this, since he still lost.

"Shouldn't it be one of the heroes instead since they're the winners?" Tsuyu questioned what everyone was thinking.

"Mm!" He gave a small smirk. "Valid question! Why didn't I choose one of those three? Who has a guess?" He held up a hand.

"Sir!" Momo raised her hand. "I can tell you why! Ida embraced this challenge. He was the only one who truly adapted to his assigned role," All Might stared at her for a few seconds, his smile dropping just a bit. "I'll explain. Bakugo's judgment was clouded by a personal grudge against both Midoriyas. While Mido wasn't as prominent as Midoriya's, it is still present. As you pointed out earlier, launching a large-scale attack indoors was a foolish move. It could have been disastrous. Similarly, Midoriya's plan was also poorly thought out, considering the amount of damage that he received. He rendered himself helpless. Not smart." Ochaco gave a small frown of concern towards the ground for Izuku. "As for Uraraka...she let her guard down mid-battle, and her final attack was far too reckless given the hypothetical stakes. If she'd treated the fake weapon as though it were real, she never would've risked using such an imprecise move. With Mido, it's similar to Uraraka. While her attack was suited for the situation, her blast could have affected the weapon if not careful. She also let her guard down, and given her lack of control of her Quirk, might have harmed Bakugo if time hadn't ran out. Not as disastrous as Bakugo's could have been, but still a risky move."

She turned to Tenya, who was shaking as he was baffled from her accurate assessment. "Ida was fully prepared for the arrival of his opponents. He had a strategy, and never lost sight of his mission to protect the dummy weapon, even if he was foiled in the end."

Tenya blushed, gesturing to himself humbly. "Technically, the hero team won, yes. But they took advantage of the fact that this was training. They didn't respect the spirit of the trial," Momo finished off, everyone staring at her in silence, though also impressed.

All Might grunted while shaking, honestly a bit terrified of her accurate review... This girl really has a good eye on her. "Yes..." He answered hesitantly, holding up a finger. "Well, you overlooked a few things. Young Ida could have relaxed a little bit in the exercise, given that he frightened Young Midoriya—er, should I say, Izuka Midoriya, not her brother. But...otherwise, you nailed it!" He chuckled a bit while giving Momo a thumbs up.

"One should always start with the basics and devote themselves wholeheartedly to learning," Momo stated, hands on her hips. "That's the only real way to become a top hero. Oh, and we've started to establish a nickname for the Midoriyas so that we don't get them mixed up. Mido refers to Izuka Midoriya, and Midoriya refers to her brother. Perhaps the teachers should implement this as well to avoid any more confusion."

Momo Yaoyorozu: One of the four students admitted to the hero course based on recommendations.

The girl smiled proudly as everyone stared at her with wide eyes. "Mido for Izuka Midoriya, huh?" Mina blinked while tapping her chin. "I like it! It's cute."

"Yeah, and it'll help us a ton to tell them apart," Eijiro nodded in agreement.

"Very well! Thank you, I'll keep that in mind," All Might held up a finger. "Now then. Time to blow this joint. Let's move on to the next match! Think about everything we saw and discussed as you tackle this training for yourself."

"Yes, sir!" All the students answered in unison. No one seemed to be paying attention to Katsuki as he had a frozen and lost look on his face. This loss would be very hard for him to process, it seemed...as well just how much the twins had changed already, and it hadn't even been a week of school...

Because of the damage to the first building, they had to change locations. It would now be in Battle Building B. "Match 2! Team B will be our heroes!" Team B was Mezo and Shoto. "And Team I will be the villains!" Mashirao stretched his arms as Toru came up to him.

"Hey, Ojiro," She spoke up and he looked to her in confusion. The girl then started taking off her gloves. "Let's get serious. I'm gonna take off all my clothes and totally disappear."

"Yeah, cool," He nodded nervously at this declaration of hers. He then turned away, scratching his cheek. Hagakure's using her Quirk to our advantage, but it's kinda weird to know there's a naked girl standing by me. What exactly am I supposed to do here?

Toru noticed his look, now feeling a little embarrassed. "Uh...just don't look, okay?" She called out with a tiny blush, even though no one could actually see it.

"What's the difference?" Mashirao couldn't help but wonder, since he could still see her only articles of clothing: the gloves and boots.

"Look alive, kids!" All Might announced to the groups. "Show us you're the embodiment of good. Or evil! Let's go!"

The buzzer blared and the countdown started. Mezo held up his arms to scope out the area. Ears formed as well as eyes.

Mezo Shoji, Quirk: Dupli-Arms! He can replicate different body parts on the tips of his tentacles! Now that's super strange!

Shoto stepped inside from behind as he didn't seem to mind. One of the ears from Mezo turned into a mouth. "One's in the hall on the north side of the fourth floor," He reported to his teammate. "And I think the other's on the same level somewhere. Both are barefoot." Another mouth appeared from above. "I bet the invisible one plans to sneak up and surprise us."

"For your own safety, go outside," Shoto walked past him, and Mezo stared up ahead. "I'm sure our opponents intend to fight a defensive battle," He held up his right hand, smoke coming from it. He then touched a wall with ice forming from his hand and foot. "But we've already won." The whole hallway in front of them turned into ice, and it spread through almost the entire building. Mezo stepped out as informed, looking back as the whole building turned to ice and he gasped from his teammate's power.

"Ow, ow, ow!" Toru's footprints could be seen. "My feet are stuck!" She cried out while Mashirao couldn't move at all. His feet were frozen to the ground as well.

"This Quirk is insane," He gritted his teeth a bit, hearing footsteps. He looked up to see Shoto stepping out from the right, his red eye glowing. Mashirao prepared himself for a fight, taking a stance.

"Pry yourself up if you want, but it might be hard to fight me with no skin on the bottom of your feet," He let out a breath of air while stepping forward. He had a small smile on his face, walking past them as Mashirao couldn't do anything to stop him. Because unfortunately, Shoto had a point...

And he didn't affect just Battle Building B either, everyone watching was shivering as well. "He incapacitated them without compromising the weapon or his teammate," All Might stammered through the cold. "Take close note of his technique, students."

"Whoa, he's so strong!" Eijiro commented while Katsuki was one out of two people not freezing. The other one was Fumikage. Katsuki instead was still in shock from earlier.

Shoto pressed a hand to the weapon. "The hero team wins!" All Might shouted and Mashirao closed his eyes, feeling defeated. Neither him or Toru could do anything to prevent a Quirk such as this one...Shoto then let out some steam, starting to melt all of the ice. Mashirao looked around in surprise from this ability. All of the frost started to melt away from the walls.

"Heat too...?"

The entire building was de-frosted in seconds, sweat coming from Toru. She whimpered as it fell to the ground. "Ow, ow, ow!" She cried out as her barefoot feet were burning.

"...It's not your fault," Shoto spoke up after a few seconds, sensing that one of them might be doubting themselves. He then glanced over his shoulder to Mashirao. "We're just playing on different levels."

Shoto Todoroki. Another of the four admitted to the hero course based on recommendations. Quirk: Half-Cold, Half-Hot! Mezo stared at his teammate walking out of the building. He freezes with his right side and burns up the charts with his left. The range of his abilities is unknown!

Rikido let out a small gasp. "Holy crap!" He gasped in awe.

"That guy's kind of intimidating," Denki commented a bit nervously; if he was anything like Katsuki, he did not want to piss off Shoto...

"He got in on a recommendation," Tsuyu spoke up while Ochaco and Mina cringed a little. "So he must be good."

"Moving on!" All Might announced again to the class. "Time to gather 'round for a review of the second match. After that, we'll jet on over to our next battle!"

Katsuki had a shadow over his eyes, gritting his teeth.

"Yes, sir!" He heard the class say while moving his head down. He let out a small grunt, his emotions still stirring within him over his battle earlier...

Battle Building C was for the next team, Hanta firing off tape with his right elbow. He then fired it off again with his left. Eijiro grinned while holding up his hands, causing his skin to harden. The two boys were the villains as they guarded the weapon. It was surrounded by tape thanks to Hanta, both of them Team J.

Fumikage stepped down a hallway, narrowing his eyes. He came to a stop and put on his cape, claws made out of shadows appearing behind him. He and Tsuyu made up Team H as the heroes. She crawled onto a wall, her tongue hanging out.

"Ribbit."

Momo sealed off a door with beams, Minoru staring at her ass. He blushed while giving her a thumbs up. She then glared down at him, hands on her hips. He laughed nervously from her scary look, as they were Team C.

Kyoka used her ear to plug it into the wall. She closed her eyes as she listened for sound. She then pointed to the floor above them to Denki, the two Team G. He gasped as he looked up, holding up his hand and it sparked with electricity. He gave a small chuckle as he stepped forward.

Rikido slapped his cheeks together and let out a grunt, taking a stance. Koji looked put off by this since he and Rikido were Team F as the villains. To put it lightly, combat wasn't Koji's thing.

Yuga smiled while walking through the halls, his mask twinkling. Mina skated on acid behind him, grinning.

"Surf's up!" She announced while some of it got onto his cape. He glanced back with a small groan, trying not to be too mad. Mina glanced back and pressed her hands together with a sheepish smile on her face. "Oops! My bad!"

All Might watched them, his grin getting bigger as the matches continued.

Once they were over, he blew a whistle while standing in front of the exit. Everyone was gathered in front of him except the Midoriyas. "That's a wrap! Super work. You really stepped up to the plate. And we didn't have any major injuries, except for Midoriya. You should be proud! Excellent first day of training, all around!" He gave them a thumbs up.

"It's nice to hear some encouraging words after our homeroom class," Tsuyu raised a hand. They all imagined Mr. Aizawa's frightful grin of telling them no one was actually getting expelled. "Mr. Aizawa was kind of a buzzkill..." Everyone except Katsuki nodded in agreement. He was up near the front, looking towards the ground.

"I'm happy to bring such staggering positivity to my alma mater!" He gestured his arms up to the sky. "That's all for now, folks. I should go and check on Young Midoriya's progress! Now watch how a pro exits. Like he's got somewhere to be!" He readied his arms and then sped right down the hall, leaving behind wind. They all gasped while staring at him in shock.

"Okay, you guys, that is a hero!" Denki was the first to get over it.

"Aw, I'll never be able to run that fast..." Mashirao lamented a little.

"Super awesome!" Minoru gushed a little. All Might continued running, glancing behind him. The only person he looked at was Katsuki, as he hadn't spoken at all since his battle with Izuku. Nor had he reacted to almost anything.

Young Bakugo really is overflowing with pride. His ego may be justified, but a school like UA is bound to shatter it. Unless...Young Mido had already done so? The two seem to have a rather complicated relationship just like him and Midoriya. As his teacher, it's my sworn duty to counsel him well. But it'll have to wait. Smoke started to come from his body and he coughed. He saw the staff only exit opening and slammed the button to close the doors. He panted heavily while trying to keep it together. I can't hold this form any longer...!

Smoke came from his body as he coughed, now back in his skinny form. He sweat dropped a little since if he was just a few seconds off...the whole class would have known his secret. I barely have enough time to teach a class. Shit!

"The second day of school and he's already a regular patient!" Recovery Girl pointed out to All Might, who was rubbing his chin. "Why didn't you stop him, All Might?" Izuka was sitting to the left of her brother, who hadn't woken up. She was eating a snack as Izuku's arm was broken and now in a cast.

"You're right, Recovery Girl. I'm sorry," He told her, and steam came from her head.

"Well, it's no good apologizing to me! He's too exhausted from his classes for my Quirk," She glanced back at Izuku. "And it's not good to keep worrying his sister if you don't stop him from now on!" Izuka looked up at them with a small frown towards All Might. Recovery Girl unfortunately said it best for her...she was still very grateful to All Might for what he had done for her brother. But getting him hurt like this wasn't something she wanted from someone Izuku continued to look up to. "I can't treat all his injuries at once. I did some first aid, but after the IV is finished, we'll have to wait for his body to heal overnight. You take good care of him at home, dear."

"O-Of course," Izuka stammered a little while bowing her head. "I'll...I'll take good care of him. T-Thank you, Recovery Girl...and I'm sorry he had to come back and cause you trouble..."

All Might sighed from her apologizing for something he did. He was the one who was in the wrong, not her. "Oh, don't you fret about that," Recovery Girl waved it off as Izuka looked up at her. "You did all you could. Don't think about what you didn't do, but what you can do for your brother moving on."

"Mmhm," Izuka nodded gratefully for the advice.

"Come on, All Might," Recovery Girl turned to the man with a scolding look in her eyes. "I know you passed your powers onto this boy, but you can't spoil him."

"I am trying not to play favorites," All Might rubbed the back of his neck. "I wanted to consider his feelings, though. He needed to see that he was capable of winning the exercise. That goes for Mido too," He turned to the girl, frowning a little. "So that she knew that she could be strong against someone like Young Bakugo and take charge."

Izuka hummed in thought while looking towards the ground. Izuka pointed her bow right at Katsuki, speaking up bravely while panting. She placed her fingers along the string of her bow, about to fire. The two stared each other down with glares on their faces, neither one of them backing down.

"...Well, I-I...can't say it didn't work...but at what cost?" She spoke up while turning towards Izuku.

"Oh, yeah. Also..." All Might looked up towards Recovery Girl. "Will you please not talk so loudly about One for All when anyone around you could hear?!" He placed a finger in front of his mouth. Izuka then gasped while turning to the nurse in shock. Recovery Girl was one of the few people on staff who knew the full truth about his powers. Mainly because when he got injured, he had tried using her power to heal it, but to no avail. And so he was forced to tell her that day when she demanded what happened.

"Yeah, yeah, I know," She dismissed while turning back to her computer. "Mr. Natural-Born Hero. Mr. Symbol of Peace."

"She...she knows?" Izuka blinked while turning to All Might.

"Yes. So you can't tell anyone that she does, okay? I don't mind if you tell your brother, but only him," He then sighed, looking at his hand. "Several people know about my injury and this weak form. Like the UA faculty and a certain group of pro heroes, for example. However, only a select few people know the secret of One for All. There's you, the principal, and a very close friend of mine. Young Mido and Midoriya too, of course, but no one else knows the truth about my powers."

Izuka looked back at Recovery Girl. So...he chose to inform the entire staff of the school about his true form...but it seems like only the four he said know the full thing. Maybe because it's dangerous for them to know?

"You're the number-one hero in the world, All Might. Does it really matter if you were born with your Quirk or not?" Izuka's mouth opened a bit in shock, wondering...just based on what she said...was All Might like Izuku at one point? "Do you have to be the Symbol of Peace? Is it that important?"

He narrowed his eyes in determination. "If they knew I wasn't, the temptation of this power could corrupt our society. This Quirk...those who wield it are responsible for mankind's safety," He looked at his hand. Izuka's eyes shook a little and then she glanced down at her brother.

Then...no one else can know the truth. If it got out, it'd be really risky. Izuku...just how much of that are you ready to handle?

Recovery Girl then sighed in defeat. "Well, if that's the case, it's even more important for you to be a good guide," She informed as Izuka patted her brother on the head gently.

"You're right..." All Might answered and both of them turned to the girl. "Will you let me continue to do that for your brother, Mido?" He asked breathlessly and she dropped her hand, not responding. "I know I disappointed you today...but I will try. Not just for him...but for you as well, to become your own Symbol. That's...what he wants, right?"

"...If you can make sure you train his body so that I won't have to see him like this...then yes, Mr. All Might," She looked back at him and he gasped. "Not using my Quirk...seemed to really affect him...and I ignored how much until we met you. Because...I didn't want him to resent any success I had with my Quirk. To everyone else, I'm weak and...and I can't connect with anyone in my class. But to him...I can be a hero too...even if that seems impossible..."

"That's not true," All Might placed a hand on her shoulder. "You've already started to accept growth with your peers and within yourself. That kind of acceptance...is why you've gotten as far as you have, Mido. Thank you for trusting me with your brother. I know how much you care about him, and he looks up to you so much. I won't lose your trust again, and I'll make sure...that you grow as much as he does."

She looked up with a tiny smile towards him. "Then...I-I'll keep trying my best, Mr. All Might. So that I don't disappoint him..." Recovery Girl smiled towards the two. Izuku continued to be unconscious.

The wind blew in All Might's hair as he stared down at the twins. "Young man, young lady. You too can become heroes," He spoke and then he held out his glowing hand, rainbow beams emitting from it. "Listen well, young children! This is his choice."

"One...for...All," The twins murmured at the name once All Might explained.

'Smash!' Izuku thought with gritted teeth at the same time that Izuka fired off her shooting star. Only this time, it was much bigger than her first one. It soared right past her brother, twinkling with power just as Izuku recoiled back his fist. At the same time the shooting star hit the robot, he had punched it with so much power that it not only caused a dent, but the robot was pushed back far. This was thanks to the power of both twins working together.

All Might held out his hand. "Welcome, Young Midoriyas. You are now going to be a part of the hero academia!"

Izuku clutched his hand with the broken finger after throwing the ball. Izuka held her burning fingers, out of breath. 'We've still got a whole lot to learn...if I'm gonna achieve my dream and help my sister!'

Izuku then stood up with a brave face, clenching a fist. "You can call me Deku, but I'm not the same helpless, defenseless kid anymore! And Izuka is slowly starting to change too, you know that! When was the last time she tried standing up against you? We've changed! You hear me?" His eyes and hand were shaking. "From now on, Deku is the name of a hero!"

Hero, hero, hero...

His eyes slowly opened, and he saw the IV above him. It was still wrapped around his left arm, his right arm still in a cast. He felt something near his bed and looked to see his sister napping. Her upper body was hunched over while sitting in the chair. It couldn't have looked very comfortable...he then closed out his eyes, letting out a hum. He looked back to Izuka and gently nudged her with his leg. "Hey, big sis. Wake up," He whispered, doing this a few more times before she sat up with her eyes closed. She let out a small tired grunt, wiping her eyes with the back of her wrist.

"Mm, what time is it...?" She asked groggily and quietly.

"I'm waking up and you fell asleep?" He teased a little and she gasped sharply once she heard his voice.

"Little brother!" She beamed happily to see him awake.

"What time even is it?" He turned to her and they both turned towards the clock. It was almost four o'clock. "It's...late afternoon?" He murmured in confusion.

"You've been here for a few hours," She informed and he turned to her curiously. "All Might excused us for the rest of the day. I'm not sure if everyone else has left already."

"Are...are you okay? No one else got hurt, did they?" He wondered quietly and she waved a hand.

"Oh, I'm fine!" The girl assured him and he sighed in relief. "I didn't get a scratch on me, and from what I heard, no one else was seriously injured...Bakugo-San was really brutal on you, huh?" She frowned deeply; she had a feeling part of it had to do with him confronting her. And yet she couldn't understand why if that was the case; her hiding her Quirk shouldn't be something for him to get that worked up over...

"Yeah...he asked me-"

Recovery Girl suddenly got into his eyesight. "Rise and shine, sonny!" She announced, both of them gasping in alarm. Neither of them had remembered until now that they were in the nurse's office.

The sun was starting to set as the twins were walking down the hall. Izuka was texting their mom that they'd be home late, but didn't go into much detail on why. "That's all for today's treatment. Come back tomorrow, okay?"

Izuku looked exhausted as they were heading back to class to get their things. We missed all our afternoon classes. Mr. Aizawa's probably gonna choke us with his scarf...

Even if we were excused, I'm not sure he'd let us off that easily... Izuka gave an anxious expression, since he was already harsh on her more than others. So missing most of classes probably didn't help with his already low impression...

Izuku slid the door open, and Eijiro turned to the twins with a smile. "Hey, it's the Midoriyas!" He announced and Izuka yelped, hiding behind her brother. "Good to see you back, supers!" Izuku gasped as they were surrounded by Mina, Rikido, Hanta, and Yuga as well. "Ha! Man, I don't know what you were saying during that match. But you were all fired up, huh? You and Mido!"

"Huh?" Izuka blinked slowly and then peeked from behind. Oh, that's right...Uraraka-Chan and Yaoyorozu-Chan decided to come up with a nickname to tell the difference between us in class. I guess they must've told everyone.

"I can't believe you held your own against Bakugo—he's super strong! And firing off that shooting star, that was a smart move to fire it against Ida and then have it be a bluff!" Hanta complimented with a small smile.

"You did a great job dodging!" Mina gushed and then grabbed Izuka's hand, pulling her slightly out of hiding. "And Mido, you don't need to be so shy with us, we're your classmates now! And the way you were zipping on that star, so awesome!" She gave the twins a big smile.

"You guys really turned up in the first match," Rikido told the two. "So none of us held back in our rounds, either!"

Hanta nodded in agreement, Izuka blinking while staring at them. Yuga popped up from behind Mina. "You were far from elegant, but I suppose-"

"And the dodging was like, whoa! And Izuka's speed, whoosh!" Mina jumped up and down, grabbing Izuka's hands. "You've gotta show me how to do it sometime, I wanna do it with my acid!"

Izuku gasped in shock as Izuka moved away her hands gently, her hands in front of her skirt. The two glanced at each other, since...they had never actually been praised in school before. It was always the exact opposite, so having this happen...making friends...

"Hey, I'm Eijiro Kirishima," Eijiro grinned while jerking a thumb to himself. He then jerked a thumb to Hanta. "We've been goin' over training results while you were in recovery with your sister."

"Hi," Hanta smiled at the two. "I'm Hanta Sero."

"More importantly, I'm Yuga Ao-"

"I'm Mina Ashido!" Mina waved her hands rapidly, interrupting him again. "And I just gotta say, your dodging and firepower were awesome!" She giggled, giving Izuka a big hug.

"Oh!" Izuka blinked in shock down at her as she was lifted from the air, yelping as she was shaken a bit.

"Ashido, you gotta calm down, you might scare her," Tsuyu looked up at her. The pink-skinned girl put her down, rubbing her neck sheepishly. "Tsuyu Asui. But please, call me Tsu."

"Hey," Rikido bent down a bit. "Sato."

"Um..." Izuku nervously held up a hand. "Hey, guys."

"I-it's, um...n-nice to meet you all," Izuka bowed her head, Mina gushing.

"She's just so small and cute like a puppy!"

Why does that keep coming up? I don't get it Izuka tilted her head in confusion.

"And my name's Mineta!" Minoru jumped up in front of everyone, causing the two to yelp. "Your sister's so hot...!"

Izuka looked a bit put off as he wiggled his fingers while drooling. "I don't like him," She whispered to Izuku while pointing at Minoru, who gave a white-eyed look of horror.

"Where the heck did you pop out of?" Eijiro looked down at him. "Not really the best first impression either..."

"UA's shiniest star here-" Yuga tried to get their attention once again.

"You might sparkle, but you sucked it up in training," Rikido commented while Fumikage was watching them. He then looked away, his eyes closed.

"So noisy..." He murmured to himself.

"Tokoyami!" Tenya sped-walked over to the student. "Stop using that desk as a chair!" He ordered while waving his arms rapidly. "Get off of it this instant!"

"Dude, you need to chill," Kyoka remarked plain and simple, a hand on her hip. He let out a shocked sound from her advice, recoiling back a bit.

"You're carrying a lot of tension," Mashirao pointed out to him.

Tenya then sagged his shoulders. "No one understands," He then gestured to himself, pointing at Fumikage. "I cannot condone actions that disrespect these desks. Not when great men and women, our upperclassmen, once used them!"

"Also noisy," Fumikage commented at this, Tenya staring him down.

Izuku and Izuka gave sheepish smiles at the exchange. Ida never relaxes, does he?

"T-Tokoyami-San..." Izuka spoke up quietly, everyone turning to her. "Ida-San...only means well w-with our class. I...I understand that it might not b-bother you...but he feels that...you don't respect UA. S-So...would you please move? Ah!" She flinched as she pressed her forefingers together awkwardly. "I-I didn't mean...to involve myself in your business..."

"...Hmm," Fumikage stared at her for a few seconds and then nodded. "Very well...if you put it that way, then I'll move."

To Tenya's shock, Fumikage stood up from the chair. "T-Thank you, Mido...!" He turned to the girl with wide eyes. She then blinked from his gratefulness and gave a small smile, closing her eyes.

"Y-You're welcome...glad I could help..."

"Aww, see! You're getting used to us already," Mina smiled while patting her back.

"Ashido, come on, you gotta start slow. Don't make her uncomfortable," Eijiro shook his head slowly as Izuka looked a bit less anxious than before. She just didn't want another hug, mainly because she was still getting to know them.

Denki opened up another door, holding a bunch of textbooks. "So, anyway, wanna grab a bite sometime?" He glanced back at Ochaco, who was helping him. "Kinda stuff you like?"

She blinked and looked away in thought. "Anything sweet...uh! Hey, Deku, Mido!" She ran over to the twins. Denki gave a small groan at this. "Why didn't she heal your injuries?"

"Oh, uh...well, it has to do with how much stamina I'm using," He informed and Izuka nodded in agreement.

"He...he has to come back in tomorrow..." She scratched her cheek nervously.

"Stamina?" The brunette wondered and then realized that Izuka seemed to be struggling with something earlier around Tenya. And she didn't have the chance until now to ask her, since the girl had been with her brother for half the day.

"Oh, Mido," Ochaco turned to her and the green-haired girl blinked. "You wanted to say something to Ida, didn't you? When he defended you and Deku with Bakugo."

"Um..." Izuka tried to speak, but they didn't hear her. She clutched at her pants tightly instead, Ochaco glancing at the girl curiously. She wondered what the green-haired girl was trying to say...

"O-oh," Izuka rubbed the back of her neck in realization. "J-Just that...I'm not sure if I would call myself that brave. I-I'm not...as strong as All Might, so..." She pressed her forefingers together again bashfully. "So...calling me that...w-would be a lie."

"Mm? I beg to differ," Eijiro gave a small smile. "Those shooting stars of yours pack some real power!"

"I think you just need to practice more with them, then you'll improve," Tsuyu told the girl.

"Indeed, Mido's skills are...unrefined, but certainly not weak. And she has proven herself worthy of being at this school. If not for attempting to help Bakugo with that villain, she did also help Uraraka," Tenya nodded in agreement. Izuka blushed in embarrassment from the praise and looked away, rubbing her arm.

"T-Thanks..." She mumbled bashfully at her classmates. Izuku then noticed that Katsuki's stuff was gone from his desk.

"Um, Uraraka. Where's Kacchan?" He wondered and his sister blinked from the question.

He was then running out of the exit, Izuka trying to keep up with him a few feet behind. "We tried to stop him from leaving. But he wouldn't listen," Ochaco had explained to the duo. "You just missed him."

Izuka panted while trailing behind her brother. "Izuku, wait up!" She cried out; running while low on sleep wasn't the best idea. Not to mention...she almost didn't see why he felt the need to go after Katsuki. That was how she felt for years, never seeing what made Izuku want to be his friend so much. It almost felt...a bit wrong to even go with her brother, since she had seen Katsuki and what he was for herself. A small part of her wished...that she didn't even know him.

"Izuka!" He glanced over his shoulder and she blinked from his serious tone. "Kacchan asked me when you got your Quirk. He overheard us back in middle school the day we met All Might," Her eyes widened from his statement, realizing that was how Katsuki confronting her came about. "The look in his eyes..."

Katsuki gasped sharply after hearing Izuku's answer, looking towards the ground with his head spinning.

"I've never seen him so conflicted," He told her and she gasped a bit. "I'm not sure why, but...maybe he understood. Even for just a moment...I could see that he could see where you were coming from."

"What...?" She whispered in a bit of disbelief. She almost couldn't see it herself, but her brother she knew was no liar. And so...with the truth, she couldn't help but wonder what was going on in his head. Katsuki...actually understanding how she felt? It seemed too much of a foreign concept.

"DAMMIT! You and mousy were tricking me for years by acting weak! Bet you two have been laughing behind my back, huh?! I heard what you two were saying back before we were admitted to UA!"

The two continued running as fast as they could, Izuka narrowing her eyes. "So where's that flashy power a'yours now?!"

They came to a stop at the entrance, panting slightly. "Izuku, look!" Izuka pointed up ahead and he saw Katsuki stomping off through the archway.

"Kacchan!" Izuku shouted while racing up to him. If Katsuki heard it, he didn't stop for them. "Wait up!"

"B-Bakugo-San...!" Izuka called out and he stopped at her voice. She flinched from the sudden tension between the three of them. He then glanced over his shoulder with a furious look in his eyes, and it caused her to tense up.

"What...?" He snarled and Izuku gasped, stopping as well. He had never heard Katsuki like this before. Izuka's eyes softened a bit, her hand in front of her chest. Izuku then looked towards the ground, his lip quivering.

I haven't told anyone this secret. Not even our mom... He felt like he had to, though...to set the record straight. "I have to tell you something. Maybe then, you'll understand what's been going on." Izuka gasped sharply while turning to him.

"Izuku, hold on-"

"Izuka," He interrupted while looking at her. "It...might be the only way. Please..." He gave his sister a pleading look. She blinked as she could tell...that he felt like Katsuki wouldn't say anything, even if he understood any of it. She bit her lip, letting out a small sigh and nodding. They'd figure it out how to tell All Might... "Neither of us were hiding our Quirks from you. Mine was given to me by...someone else. Recently." Katsuki flinched in alarm by this answer. "But I can't tell you who I got it from, so don't ask! Sounds crazy...I know. It's like something out of a comic book. Only, it's real. The thing is...I don't really have any control over this power yet. I haven't figured out how to make it my own, but I'm trying. That's why...I didn't wanna use it against you in the exercise. But in the end, it was the only way that I had a chance of winning." Katsuki was shaking, gritting his teeth. Izuka gave a nervous expression. "I've still got a lot to learn. I know that. That's why I'm here," Izuku then gestured to himself, Katsuki only growing more angrier. "You'll see...I'll work until I have full control of this borrowed Quirk. And I'll finally beat you with my own power!"

"And...I really was born with a Quirk," Izuka clenched her fist. "I got mine the same time as you did...only I couldn't let anyone see it. Not after my brother was Quirkless before he got his. I know to you...that it sounds silly or that you don't believe me," Her eyes saddened a little. "But it's the truth. I never told anyone else besides my family, and I decided...to never use my Quirk again," Katsuki shook a bit in disbelief at her. "Because...I didn't even want a Quirk if my brother wasn't capable of getting one. If I was able to transfer mine to him, I would've done it a long time ago...he would've had to grow up in my shadow..." Izuku gasped while turning to her. "Probably being compared to me in the process, and then...he'd hate me, and I just didn't want that. It wasn't until he got one...that I started to see myself as a hero...the kind that he wants to see me as. And I won't...I won't take that for granted ever again!"

Katsuki stared at them wide-eyed and the two then gasped sharply. Oh crap, what are we saying?! The two thought in unison.

We only meant to tell him that we weren't tricking him! Izuku reacted first, examining Katsuki, who hadn't spoke yet.

"...How dumb do you think I am?" He questioned and they both gasped. "Borrowed power? Never using a Quirk? Don't talk to me like I'm an idiot. You two already made a fool outta me in that damn training exercise. So?" His voice broke a little, his hands in his pockets. "Did you both come here to rub it in? I lost!" He was seething while his hair covered his eyes. "And to make matters worse, it was to you! I came in first in the exam...but that's not enough! When I was watching that ice guy...I realized I couldn't beat him in a head-to-head fight!" Izuka blinked rapidly as he meant Shoto, realizing...his pride must have been really impacted to realize all this.

Momo raised her hand in class. "Launching a large-scale attack indoors was a foolish move."

Katsuki then covered his eyes with his hand. "CRAP! I even agreed with what that girl said. My attack was so stupid! And you...!" He pointed at Izuka, who looked at him wide-eyed for addressing her. "You're so...I don't even know what to call you anymore! Damn it! Damn it, damn it, damn it!" He grunted while clenching his fist, the twins only able to stare with their mouths slightly open. "Enjoy that win, Deku, mousy." He finally looked up with tears in his eyes. "You won't get another! I'm just getting started! Got that?! I'm gonna end up the number-one hero, no matter what! You better watch out, mousy...I won't let you catch up to me either!"

Izuku then gave a small grunt of acknowledgement. Izuka narrowed her eyes as she was tired of playing the victim with him, whether he liked it or not. She watched him closely as he turned around and started to leave again.

"You'll never beat me again, you bastard and mousy. Don't even try!"

Once he was far away from the twins, Izuku gulped and let out a sigh of relief. "Thank god he's gone," Izuka grumbled a little to herself. Although...she could get where Katsuki was coming from a little bit. He was still a jerk, but...something about his confidence being broken she couldn't help but at least see why he was like this now. She just wasn't sure if she could really agree with it...

Does this mean he sees me as a rival now because of my Quirk? She thought to herself. Or maybe he's just masking it over how he really felt over what I said? ...Nah, maybe it is the former. She sweat dropped a bit. Katsuki feeling bad for anyone just didn't seem like him.

Katsuki gritted his teeth to himself while thinking of Izuka's words. "Damn it, mousy...why are you making this so hard...?" He muttered quietly so she didn't hear it. He couldn't imagine why he felt...just a little less rude regarding her. As if...he sympathized with her and what she went through because of her decision as a child. He then scoffed, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Whatever. She's still a mouse no matter what the truth is..."

"There you arrrrrrrre!" All Might's voice boomed and he suddenly sped past the two. They yelped as he caught up to Katsuki. "Baku...go! I found you!" He exclaimed dramatically while holding the blond's shoulders from behind. He then let out a pant as he had to recharge before getting here. "Just so you know...pride is an important attribute to have. But while you certainly have the abilities to become a pro hero, there's still plenty you have to learn! Plus, you seem to be starting to show some empathy towards your classmate," Katsuki flinched while his cheeks were slightly red as All Might glanced back at Izuka. Whatever he had towards her, it wouldn't change anything.

"Let go of me, All Might. Right now," Katsuki told him and the hero looked down in confusion. He gritted his teeth while looking back, All Might seeing his red face. "Save your speeches. I'll be more famous than you, and I'll do it without your help. And I don't have any of that crap towards mousy, so stop with the rumors."

"Uh..." All Might released him nervously. "Uh...right," He faltered as Katsuki finally started walking home. I guess he's already over it. But his face around Young Mido...he might be lying, or he's trying to save face. Man. Being a teacher is hard.

Mina, Ochaco, and Tsuyu were watching from a window. "Huh, I wonder what that was all about," Mina murmured in curiosity.

"The fated battle between rivals," Ochaco pumped her fists, knowing it had something to do with the relationship between Katsuki and Izuku.

"Whatever Midoriya was saying, it looked like Bakugo really wanted to punch him. I'm not sure if I can say the same for Mido. He looked kinda embarrassed," Tsuyu tilted her head a bit.

"Hm?" Mina and Ochaco turned to her. "I wonder why..." Ochaco murmured in thought, staring after Katsuki. "Childhood friends turned enemies!" She pressed her face against the window.

Kacchan's fuse has been lit. There's a fire under him, which seems to be getting hotter around Izuka for some reason. But that doesn't change what I have to do. I'll keep chasing after him.

I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to understand Bakugo-San... Izuka thought as she and Izuku stared him down. Or why things seem to be...different despite what he tells me. But...no matter what happens, I won't let him bully me anymore.

"Midoriya! Mido!" All Might spoke up to the twins. "What were you saying to Bakugo before I arrived so heroically?"

"Ah!" Izuku had a bunch of sweat coming from him; he was not ready to say what he just told Katsuki. "Oh, nothing special."

"R-Right! We didn't say much and Bakugo-San was his usual self," Izuka waved her hands rapidly, wincing. She definitely just lied a little just now...

"Hmm," He put his hand to his ear. "I'm so curious. Why don't you tell me all of the juicy details? Seems to me like Bakugo has a soft spot for you, Mido!"

"What?" She muttered in utter confusion as she didn't know what that meant. "And you're calling me Mido now...?"

"Your classmates told me of the suggestion to call you that in class as your nickname! I think it's growing on me," He responded to the girl.

"Um, actually, we kinda forgot all the details?" Izuku responded awkwardly, and Izuka let out a tired sigh at the both of them.

Out in the city, it was now dark out.

None of us were prepared for what was to come. All Might warned us about cunning villains.

No one could have predicted what would follow. He told us that people couldn't know the secret of his Quirk, and...well, there was a good reason.

And a few days later, we learned firsthand how terrifying they could actually be.

Someone put down a newspaper that advertised All Might becoming a teacher. "Did you see this joke...?" A raspy voice asked while putting down his drink. "It says he's a teacher now," The moist from the cup stained over the picture of All Might. "Hey."

A man with a purple warp for a face turned to the one speaking. "What do you think'll happen...when the mighty Symbol of Peace...is finally killed by the villains?" There was a giant creature behind a man with creepy hands all over his body, and he had only one eye showing...
