Angel: Answering more questions, I have not seen Winx Club for years, so I don't know if the comparison is to Bloom's sister in season 1 or I'm just missing something. Owl House if you mean like if Izuka is secretly a reincarnation, then no. And I don't know anything on Bayonetta 3, lots of references I'm answering about.

We have our 4th Youtuber, Katsudon Fanfics, with the video What if Deku Had his Twin Sister Quirk Part 1. And usually, I upload earlier than my normal schedule for promoting these videos. But I decided not to do that this time around...so instead I uploaded 2 chapters! So yes, you guys get to see the Bakugo vs. Izuka fight today because I know people wanted to read it. Huge thank you to Katsudon Fanfics for the video. We also just reached both 100 favs and follows for this story, thank you to everyone for that as well. And enjoy the new chapters!

The crowd cheered as the next match was starting. "Welcome back to the finals, everyone!" Present Mic stated as the battlefield was getting prepared. "Sorry for that long wait. The insane amount of ice from the second match has finally been cleared, though, so it's time to welcome new competitors!"

A flash of fire then appeared. "Even beautiful flowers have thorns. It's the assassin from Class 1-B. Ibara Shiozaki from the hero course!" The green-haired girl approached the arena. "Versus the boy with the electric personality! Another hero in the making, Denki Kaminari!"

The crowd erupted into cheers again. "Keep those eyes peeled. I wanna see a super flashy battle this time!" Present Mic announced with a big grin.

"Excuse me!" Ibara shouted, catching him off guard. He turned to the girl as she was looking up in his direction. "Please pardon the interruption. I'm not sure why you called me an assassin. I've come to the festival in search of victory, not to take my opponent's life. That wouldn't be in line with the values of a hero at all, sir."

He flinched and held up his hands apologetically. "Right, I'm sorry!" He corrected himself immediately.

"Gentlemen, I didn't enter UA for wicked or selfish reasons, but to deliver salvation to others!" A light then shined over her, somehow, as she clasped her hands together. "It is my humble quest to spread true good across this world."

"Listen, I said I was sorry! That was my bad, okay?" Present Mic defended himself and she smiled up at him.

"I thank you for your kind understanding," She then bowed her head.

Well, she's definitely going to be distracting...though I'm not sure if it's on purpose Izuka had a small sweat drop at the right side of her head.

"I thought everyone in Class 1-B was a jerk," Denki commented at her behavior. Ibara turned around and walked off. Look at those big beautiful eyes. And it looks like she might be strong too. In fact, she and Mido are practically the same. Come on, you idiot—He squeezed his eyes shut as he recalled that this wasn't time to gawk over her. Remember, this is a competition. But...oh man, she's so cute, though. He looked up to admire the girl again. This is terrible. I'm gonna have to ask this girl out sometime. He imagined her in sparkles and then gained a determined date. Once I win this!

"So, anyway," Present Mic stated a bit awkwardly since he got scolded 2 minutes ago. "Begin!"

"What do ya say me and you go out after this? I'd be happy to treat you to a bite," Denki smirked a little, and she flinched in surprise. "And comfort you after your loss. Cause this is all gonna be over in two seconds, honey!" Electricity surrounded his entire body as he prepared to take her down. "Indiscriminate Shock. 1.3 million volts!" He launched a brigade of electricity at the girl, who simply turned around so that her back faced him.

Using her power, she created a shield made out of vines that snapped off the ends of her hair. It absorbed the shock, confusing Denki. The vines were then heading right towards him. "Uh, what?" He asked in confusion, and the attack he gave was enough to overexert himself. He yelped as he was caught in the vines, being lifted up into the air by Ibara's power.

"He's immobilized! That's all, folks!" Present Mic announced since he couldn't use his Quirk anymore to break free. "It was over in an instant!"

Midnight pointed her flogger whip at Ibara. "The winner is Shiozaki! She advances on!"

The crowd cheered for the girl. "I'm just so thankful that I was able to make the most of the opportunity I was given today," Ibara stated with her eyes closed, and her hands clasped again. Even the light came back to shine on her.

Ibara Shiozaki. Her Quirk, Vines! The vines on her head can extend to great lengths. Plus, they're detachable! As long as she gets plenty of water and sunlight, they can grow instantly! It's one killer head a'hair.

Tetsutetsu stood up with a big grin. "Oh, yeah! Way to represent Class 1-B!" He cheered out loud.

Kyoka rubbed the back of her head. "Man, she's good," She commented, feeling just a bit bad for Denki.

"Guess he was right," Neito bragged, getting the attention of some people nearby. "That match really was over in just two seconds," He had a crazed look on his face. "I wonder if his real Quirk is the ability to tell the future. Hey, wasn't Class 1-A supposed to be so much better than us? Even with the extra classmate, it's still not much of anything!" He laughed manically as Katsuki growled, gritting his teeth while Izuka frowned. The blond really wanted to punch Neito again, but he knew he couldn't. Not if he wanted to be the champion of the Sports Festival.

Damn that bastard. If I see mousy crying again because of him, I'll kill him.

He'd be pissed if someone said that to his face, and he knew Izuka wouldn't take it well but all she had to do was focus on the festival. And that was so that she would give him a challenge during their match, which he knew was inevitable. As Neito continued laughing, one of his classmates stepped up from behind and smacked him from behind, Itsuka Kendo. She then grabbed the back of his shirt before peeking over to the class. "Sorry 'bout him. Especially to the short girl with green hair," She said to the class, some of them looking either baffled or annoyed.

I hate that guy Momo, Mina, Kyoka, and Tsuyu all thought in unison.

"I-it's...it's okay," Izuka pressed her forefingers together awkwardly, since she didn't want to focus on what was being said about her right now. That boy just had to remind her of the negative opinions, though...

Once she sat back down, Izuku leaned backwards in his seat in a bit of frustration. "Unfortunately, none of the students have been tracked down that left the rumors according to All Might," He frowned a little towards Izuka. "I wish we had a better way of knowing who they were..."

"Thanks...but it's really alright, little brother. I'm here to prove them wrong, after all," She turned to look up ahead in determination. "This Festival won't stop anything...but it will at least give me some self-confidence in my own abilities."

Tenya, Izuka, Ochaco, and Momo all smiled towards her, glad that she wasn't dwelling on them too much. She glanced at the note in her pocket Katsuki gave her earlier and then took a deep breath, remembering what it said. Katsuki stared at the back of her head, giving a small huff. At least she wasn't crying over it this time...not because he cared or anything.

"Kamui, did you watch that?" Mt. Lady called out and he turned around curiously. She was watching what had just happened with Ibara and Denki. "Wouldn't she make, like, the perfect sidekick for you?"

"Yeah, wish I coulda seen more," He commented while Mt. Lady had a finger on her chin in thought.

"She's great for your brand. You need someone cute!"

Kamui gave her an annoyed look. "Just get back to work," He informed his fellow guard.

"As soon as she detached her vines, it was over," A hero with a robot-sounding like voice spoke up from the audience. "No way was he going to avoid those."

"Yeah, and his electric current couldn't travel through them, so he couldn't hurt her. Excellent offense and defense," A female hero stated as they watched Ibara walk towards the hallway.

"That binding hold was really impressive. Smart girl. Kaminari never stood a chance against her."

"It's tough when someone's Quirk cancels yours out," A robot stated while they were taking away a dumb-faced Denki. "But he still could have put up a fight." Denki was giving two thumbs up, a tear in his eye from his humiliating loss.

Ochaco kept her face neutral while looking up ahead, as the kind of power from both students was evident. Izuka gave a small hum of sympathy. Kaminari-San is strong deep down, but he does need to get his head out of the clouds sometimes She gave an awkward look.

"I've seen Kaminari in action—he's super strong," Both Izuka and Ochaco turned to Izuku curiously, since he was speaking loud enough for them to hear. They were baffled to see Izuku with his eyes focused while he was writing in his notebook. He was in one of his mutter phases again. "But Shiozaki placed fourth in the entrance exam. And those vines." Eijiro and Fumikage looked at him wide-eyed. "I wonder if she's studied Kamui Woods' moves. Binding attacks can be really powerful." Katsuki's eyes twitched as he felt like words were flying everywhere and hitting his face. He really hated it when Izuku was like this.

"Little brother, maybe you should take a breather..." Izuka placed a hand over her eyes in embarrassment.

"I hardly ever see anyone break out when they're used," He was too focused to hear her, though. All of the classmates sat in silence while he just continued rambling. "It would be impossible to get close to her while avoiding all those thorns and vines. You'd have to find some way to tear them off or just hack your way through brute force." Izuka slid down in her seat, covering her face with both hands this time. "Oh, but in order to keep you from doing that, she'd probably go after your hands first, so then what do you do?"

"Maybe you should take a sec to relax before planning too many matches ahead," Ochaco gave him a sheepish smile.

He yelped as he finally realized what he was doing and Izuka sat back up. "Oh, sorry!" He covered his mouth in embarrassment. He was blushing a little and sweat came from him. "Sometimes I don't realize I'm talking out loud when I'm taking notes. It's not every day I get to see incredible Quirks from people outside our class!"

The brunette gave a small chuckle and smiled. "Thankfully, it's not a habit I've picked up," Izuka gave him a small grin.

"That's because your habits are connected to your art," Izuku gave her a small smile back and she blinked in confusion. "You know, like how you'll sometimes paint in the rain or snow even when you're told to come inside."

"Izukuuuuu," She pouted at him and he gave a small laugh. She then turned away with her eyes closed. "If I'm not involved in the environment at all, it's not as authentic sometimes for me. There's just something about being outside to live it that I can just paint it no problem..." She blushed as she was the one embarrassed now, tugging at the end of her hair. Ochaco hummed happily at their interactions and how relaxed they were around each other. And the fact that Izuka was getting more comfortable around her classmates was something Ochaco was glad to see in the girl.

"Uh, actually...I've been taking notes on everybody in our class, too! I've already got Izuka ever since she showed her Quirk to me," He turned his book to show a drawing of Ochaco in her hero costume. "Here's what I've got on your Zero Gravity!"

Ochaco gave a shocked sound, her eyes very wide as she was astonished by this. Izuka was alarmed as well, since she didn't know Izuku took notes on her. Then again, she should've expected this. Ochaco gave another chuckle.

"You know, Deku, Mido, I've always known that you two are amazing. You've got so much drive and focus, both of you. And the sports festival's reminding me of that," She turned back to face the middle and the two flinched in surprise.

"C-Come on, Uraraka-Chan, I'm not...I'm not that amazing," Izuka rubbed her arm bashfully. "Yes, I managed to make it to the finals, but...let's not forget that I have either you or Bakugo-San as a potential opponent."

"You've grown so much ever since you started UA, though," Ochaco looked at her. "Just your speech around others is improving, and I have no doubt your Quirk's improved too. You gotta give yourself a little more credit sometimes."

The girl blinked, a bit shocked by what her friend said as her hand faltered. None of the twins said anything further though, because the next match was starting. "Let's keep pumpin' out these hits and move on! Time for the fourth match! Get ready to watch two new players duke it out!" The crowd cheered as Tenya was one of the contestants. "He's the kid with engines in his legs. Tenya Ida from the hero course! Versus..." His opponent was Mei, the girl from support who was on the Midoriya team in the Cavalry Battle. "A fully-equipped gadget dynamo. The support course's Mei Hatsume!"

"So it's hero class versus support," Kyoka noted of the different classes that were in a fight.

"I have no idea what this fight will look like," Tsuyu commented as she stared.

"Uhh," Rikido was sweating awkwardly while looking up ahead. "What's up with Ida?"

Tenya was buckling something around his torso, which looked to be more gear from Mei. "Where the heck did he get all that weird gear from?"

"And why would he feel the need to put it on...?" Izuka blinked in confusion; Mei didn't seem to mind sharing her...babies, as she did lend it to her team. But to someone she was facing off against, it just didn't seem like her to give Tenya an edge.

"Hero course students can't use support gear unless they have to," Midnight called out to him. "And you didn't fill out any of the proper paperwork for that."

He gasped in shock, as he was genuinely unaware of this fact. And if he had been, he definitely would've declined to wearing it. "I didn't know that was the rule! Aoyama got to wear his belt, so I thought it was fine!"

"He turned in the proper forms," Midnight informed while Yuga pointed to his belt, sparkles coming from him. Tenya then bowed to the woman.

"I apologize, ma'am," He then opened his eyes. "It's just that...my heart was moved by my opponent's sportsmanship. Even though she's from the support course, she wanted this to be as even a match as possible since she made it this far. To have a fair fight! So she offered to give me this equipment," He clenched a fist, since he could respect all courses from UA, not just support. If it was an opponent from business or General Studies, he'd still be saying what he was right now. "I respect her integrity. That's why to honor her, I would like to wear this gear!"

Midnight had a slight blush on her face, as this was getting her excited. "Such youthful vigor!" She then gave a giggle, squealing a little too. She then pointed her whip towards him. "I'll allow it."

"Really?" Present Mic asked in shock from the announcer booth.

"I guess if everyone's in agreement, then it's okay," Mr. Aizawa didn't seem to mind either. "Right?"

Izuku was baffled himself, blinking slowly. Weird, that doesn't seem like something Hatsume would do He thought the same thing as his sister; they had only known her for only today, but they still got the sense from her that giving her opponent an advantage was out-of-character. Unless...

Mei put a mic to her lips, giggling with a gleeful smile.

"Well, if everyone's on the same page, let's begin the fourth match!" Present Mic's voice boomed and Tenya ran forward immediately. He had the same determined look he always had while approaching his opponent. And Mei didn't look fazed in the slightest.

"Bet you love how fast that gear makes you! Huh, Ida?" She spoke into a mic, which was attached to her ear.

"She's got a mic?" Tenya asked in confusion as he and everyone else couldn't help but wonder what she was doing.

"Hey, now," Present Mic himself looked a bit offended.

"Is she wearing speakers?" Mr. Aizawa just now noticed that she even had them, a fact that no one else apparently saw as out of the ordinary either.

"Don't your legs feel lighter than usual?" Mei asked Tenya, as he did feel like his body was getting weightless. "That's to be expected! I designed those leg parts specifically to increase the wearer's speed and mobility. But of course..." She stared at Tenya, who was right in front of her. A pair of grappling hooks planted themselves into the ground, sending her flying away from him. He yelped as he was off the ground himself, waving his arms around. "I can easily evade you with my hydraulic attachments!" Her eyes then focused on the stands way above the crowd.

Those are boxes for support communities. She gave a silent squeal as she could see their attention focused on her. They love my babies! I've got this in the bag!

Mei Hatsume. Her Quirk: Zoom! If she gets serious, she can see up to five kilometers away! Tenya came in running fast from behind. A beep came off from her gear, a grappling hook sending her into the sky again before he could reach her.

"Since I've got sensors in every direction, it's impossible for an opponent to sneak up on me!" She revealed while Tenya tripped and he yelped in alarm. He struggled to keep his balance while his gear moved on its own as jet engines appeared. Tenya shouted in alarm as he tried to control his movements, running to the side.

"What the heck is going on?!" He demanded since he wasn't moving his legs on his own anymore.

"Look at how adeptly Ida just changed his course!" Mei announced with a slight blush on her face. "It's all thanks to the ingenious auto-balancer I created."

Present Mic had a blank look on his face. Mr. Aizawa was covering his own with his bandaged wrist. "This is weird," Present Mic commented, since he was expecting more of a fight.

"She's turning the festival into one big commercial," Mr. Aizawa mumbled into his hand.

"There's absolutely no lag time!" Mei continued her act, annoying Tenya as he growled. He tried to attack, but once again, she was able to dodge him. He gave a shocked yelp from her quick reflexes. "The auto-balancer is equipped with a custom 32-asix gyro sensor!" This caused him to flail, his arms spinning around right to the edge of the out of bounds area. "As you can see, it can keep the user from falling unless they actually want to," She gestured to poor Tenya attempting to stay on his two feet, but he just kept flailing.

He gritted his teeth at how he was making a fool of himself at the festival. He headed towards Mei once again. "I thought you said you wanted this to be a fair fight!"

Mei moved her right foot to spread them apart. Something spun from the sides of her boots, sending her up into the sky. Tenya slid to a stop with an annoyed grunt, looking up above his head as she cackled.

"That's right, I'm practically flying through the air!" She then pointed to her shoes. "These electro shoes use electromagnetic induction on both feet. They're perfect for evasive maneuvers or just keeping things light!" They gave off a sheen and Tenya took off again, heading for his opponent once again despite that tactic proving to not work.

"As soon as she lands, I'll stop her!" He announced and once she did land, she turned around to point something at him. She fired off a net that caught Tenya and he fell backwards, unable to break free. "Huh?! What is this?!"

"A capture gun to use against villains!" Mei revealed while holding it up with a grin. "The nets are loaded into small cartridges. You can fire up to five before having to reload! And all of these items were developed by yours truly—Mei Hatsume, support course prodigy!" She then looked up towards the support course seats. "So to any support companies out there looking for strong new recruits, the choice is clear. You want me! Again, I'm Mei Hatsume, that's H-a-t-s-u-m-e."

"She's something," One of the support company men commented, all of them in disbelief over her behavior.

"And now, let me introduce you to a few more of my babies!"

"Wait, there's more?" A man looked a bit pale, wondering just how much gear she was hiding.

This went on for 10 whole minutes before Mei finally voluntarily stepped out of the out-of-bounds area herself. "Whew! That was fun, but I think now I've shown off everything I wanted to," She wiped the sweat from her forehead. "I suppose it's time for me to wrap this show up."

This...confusingly took her out of the Sports Festival now. Midnight then raised her hand, as she wasn't expecting this outcome at all. "Uh, Hatsume stepped out of bounds, so Ida advances to the next round."

"I can't believe I let you trick me!" Tenya shouted in utter horror over what just happened.

Mei then slowly turned away with an innocent grin. "Sorry about that. I needed to use you to make a name for myself," She revealed to her opponent.

"I looked like a fool!" Tenya shouted while waving a hand.

"Hatsume-Chan is really determined, isn't she...?" Izuka gave a supportive smile towards Tenya, though it was strained since technically, all he did was run around.

"Ida's so sincere, he trusted her motives," Izuku was shaking in his seat, Izuka looking a bit put off by Mei's behavior. Ochaco herself was looking at the ground, not even looking towards the arena anymore. "She probably made it sound like she was doing him a favor. She's so driven," He started taking notes on Mei. "Straightforward about her goals," Ochaco slowly got up from her seat and walked off. This gained the attention of everyone around her but Izuku. "And from what I can tell, she'll pretty much do whatever it takes to reach them. Amazing."

"Huh?" Izuka looked up at the girl walking away from the stands. "Uraraka-Chan...?" She murmured in a bit of concern. She got onto her feet and went after Ochaco, which Izuku didn't notice either, but the brunette had left her drink behind.

"Uraraka-Chan!" Izuka called out as the two were alone in the hallway. She glanced back at the girl catching up with her. Izuka then frowned, her hands behind her back. "Are you okay? You left all of a sudden..."

"Huh?" The brunette blinked and then turned away. "Oh, sorry. I just have a lot of thinking to do before my match. You'd probably do the same thing considering who you're gonna be fighting no matter who wins..."

"Hmm..." Izuka stared at her with her eyes softening; she could understand why since Katsuki was Ochaco's opponent...not exactly someone that would take a loss even if it was a girl from his own class. And his determination would most likely earn him the win...both girls knew that for a fact, so trying to advance with him in the way was impossible. "Do you...wanna talk about it?"

"It's okay. You should go watch the other matches with Deku. Everyone's got amazing Quirks after all..."

Izuka stood in front of Ochaco, a concerned look on her face. "I have a friend with a Quirk just as amazing who doesn't seem to be all too excited like she was from the start. If you want, we don't have to talk...we can just sit together."

Ochaco stared at her and smiled gratefully that Izuka was giving her time instead of pushing the issue. "Can I watch you draw for a bit? I don't feel like going back to the others right now and seeing me like this."

Izuka blinked from the request and then nodded soon after, humming. "Sure, if it'll help even a little...I promised I'd let you see my drawings anyway." The two then walked off together in a welcomed silence towards the waiting room.

The crowd cheered as the fifth match was starting. "We're gonna charge right on along to the 5th match! Let's hope that gaudy belt serves some kinda purpose." Yuga was up next as he struck a pose. "It's Yuga Aoyama from the hero course!"

He flipped his hair and gave a wink. "Bonjour."

"Versus...is there some kinda purpose for those things sticking out of her head?" Present Mic trailed off as Mina was stretching her arms. "From the same class, Mina Ashido!"

The girl chuckled while pointing up ahead. "This match is gonna be a piece a' cake," She replied confidently but Yuga looked just as confident himself.

"I do believe you're going to be eating those words, mademoiselle."

"Come on, Mina, you can do it!" Tsuyu said in an encouraging tone.

"Don't show her any mercy, Aoyama!" Minoru suddenly shouted from his seat. Kyoka and Tsuyu turned to him seeing an intense look on his face. "Fight like you're in one of those video games where everyone's clothes get beaten off!"

"You pervert!" Kyoka scolded him in disbelief.

Izuku flipped between pages of his notebook, Hanta glancing at him with an awkward smile. "A match between Aoyama and Ashido. Let's see, considering what their powers are...Aoyama will probably keep his distance and try to attack with his laser from far away. So it'll all depend on whether or not Ashido can dodge his attacks and manage to use her power against him in close combat. Problem is, there's nothing much for her to use as cover in this ring. So she's at a slight disadvantage."

"Now let's get started!" Present Mic bellowed with a big grin. "Fifth match...begin!"

Yuga's laser immediately powered up from his belt. "Navel laser, activate!" He leaned his head back while firing.

"Think again!" Mina jumped right over it, acid appearing from her feet so she could skate on them. "We were on the same team for combat training," She grinned while looking over her shoulder. She ducked her head as he fired another laser. "So I know all about your Quirk, Aoyama."

"I can say the same thing about you," He bragged while firing repeatedly.

"Sure, but there's a big difference," She pointed out while ducking her head. Mina spun around and then did a split kick above another laser. "I remember something you said." She spun around while skating.

Yuga glanced back after doing one of the 8 tests for the first day of school. "Shooting my beam for more than a second...can sometimes hurt my tummy," He revealed to Hanta, Eijiro, Denki, and Mina. All of them just looked baffled on why he was telling them this.

"I know your weakness," Mina revealed as Yuga fired off again twice. Mina dodged both times thanks to her reaction speed. She jumped away from another laser.

"Here's a big one!" He fired off a powerful laser this time, and she moved her head down while skating over. She headed right for him, and just like he mentioned, his stomach started to hurt. He looked a bit sick as he twitched. "Ow. My tummy."

"There's my shot!" Mina fired acid at his belt, smoke coming from it.

"Oh no! Oh no, no, no! Not my precious belt!" He cried out in agony before the acid seeped into his pants. They fell off and he yelped, trying to get them back up. My pants!

Mina slid to a stop right in front of him with a big smile. "For my finishing move..." She swung up her fist, catching him off guard as she punched him right in the chin. "An uppercut!" Yuga could only let out a whimper from his loss as he fell to the ground, his pants still dropped.

"Aoyama has fainted!" Midnight smirked while pointing at the pink-skinned girl. "The winner of this match is Ashido!"

The camera crew were taking pictures as Present Mic had a big smile on his face, glad that this one was more of an actual fight. "Dang, Aoyama went down hard! That's an indisputable victory if I've ever seen one, sports fans!" Mina grinned while waving peace signs, jumping up a little.

"Wow, Mina is amazing!" Tsuyu stated, she and Kyoka hearing a thump. They turned around to see Minoru disappointed that his pervy fantasy didn't come to pass.

"I got to see panties, but why were they his...?" He lamented in agony, Mezo glancing down at him awkwardly.

"Oh, for crying out loud," Kyoka stated in disbelief while Minoru let out a groan. Mashirao sighed, slowly shaking his head. It seemed that Minoru wouldn't change at all when it came to being an absolute pervert...The blond then glanced at Izuku taking notes once again.

"The match unfolded like I thought it would, but I definitely underestimated Ashido. Although, now that I think about it, she did place ninth out of the class in that Quirk assessment test," As he was talking, Yuga was whisked away towards Recovery Girl. Mina watched him leave as he was still unconscious and in shock. "She has a great power, but she won because of her physical strength." Mina giggled apologetically while pressing her hands together.

"Now let's not let this hot streak cool. Time to move on to the sixth match!" Present Mic stated while Mt. Lady watched Momo enter the arena.

"We're not here to watch TV!" Kamui Woods shouted at her in annoyance that she kept assessing the hero course students instead of guarding the stadium. That was why they were chosen to be outside after all...

"Offense and defense in one!" Present Mic started off as Fumikage waited patiently for his opponent. "The dark samurai and his darker shadow! From the hero course, Fumikage Tokoyami! Versus...the great creator! She was admitted because of recommendations and I think we can all see why. Also from Class 1-A, Momo Yaoyorozu!" Momo held her arm as she looked to be a bit...hesitant on the arena.

"How do you think this one will end?" Mashirao asked Izuku curiously, leaning forward in his seat. "Any clue?"

"Timing is going to be the key thing here," Izuku informed, keeping his eyes on the arena.

"Oh?" Mashirao turned to him. "How so?"

Momo stared down her opponent, quickly thinking of a strategy. Present Mic's description of Tokoyami was accurate. With Dark Shadow, he's skilled at both attacking and defending. He can also call upon the creature instantaneously, so there's little doubt he'll start the match with a preemptive strike. If I can make a simple shield, I can block him. She gritted her teeth as she had seen Fumikage's Quirk in play for herself during the Cavalry Battle. So getting past him was not going to be an easy feat. But I'll have to be fast about it, or else this fight will be over in a matter of seconds. Just like that. Then, if I have enough time to make some kind of weapon...

While she was thinking, Present Mic was talking. "Sixth match...begin!" Momo gasped as she snapped out of it.

"Go, Dark Shadow!" Fumikage announced as a glow came from his stomach.

"I've got her!" Dark Shadow came charging in and she held up her arm, activating her Quirk.

Quickly! A shield!

She managed to create it just before Dark Shadow struck it. "Now it's my turn to attack!" She held out her free hand to create something else. Dark Shadow circled around and hit the shield once again. She backed away a bit, and she gritted her teeth while looking up. I can't focus on my Quirk! With Dark Shadow's reaction time, she couldn't think of what she needed, or even of a new strategy. Dark Shadow came charging in once more, this time knocking the shield out of her hand. She yelped at this, holding up her arm to make a new, bigger shield. Dark Shadow struck hard this time, enough to make her slide backwards.

She looked up ahead at her opponent, who hadn't moved and she couldn't determine why. Why has he stopped? This is my chance! She created a pole from her free hand.

"Yaoyorozu!" Midnight called her name, the girl turning to her in confusion. "You're out!" She gasped and then looked down to see that Fumikage...had pushed her out of bounds. "This match goes to Tokoyami!"

Fumikage called back Dark Shadow and then bowed his head at the shocked Momo. "Yikes! Another fast, overwhelming victory! Is it possible that Tokoyami's Dark Shadow is the greatest Quirk ever? I think so!"

"I lost..." Momo murmured while trying to process what just happened. "I didn't even...do anything," Her eyes shook as she had a deep frown on her face while disappointed with herself.

"Tokoyami is way too powerful," Izuku was in shock himself. "I can't believe he forced her out of bounds by focusing his attacks on her shield. He obviously had a strategy worked out."

"Yeah, I guess so," Mashirao agreed with him. "Maybe he didn't wanna hurt her." Izuku simply nodded in agreement. "I bet she's really upset about how that went down. I feel bad for her." Her classmates watched as Momo dejectedly walked away from the arena, especially since she didn't have the time to show what she could really do to the pro heroes out there.

"But don't think this means I won't try as hard as you...Yao-Chan," Izuka looked up with a determined smile, as she wanted to convey it was friendly rivalry, not something that she should worry about.

Momo's eyes glistened before she inhaled to keep her composure, nodding sharply with a smile of her own. "I don't expect you to hold back, Mido!"

'I'm sorry, Mido...I'm both a terrible friend and fighter...' Momo bit her lip while trying not to shed tears at how she must've disappointed her friend for failing. Not only did she worry Izuka during the cavalry battle, but now she had lost her match and didn't prove to Izuka that she earned her spot in the sports festival. Now how was she going to prove that she was worthy of being called a hero, let alone get scouted to even get that far...?

Izuku looked away and then noticed that both Izuka and Ochaco were gone. Ochaco's drink was still sitting at her seat, and the ice had melted away at this point. This told him that they both had been gone for a while and he didn't even notice.

"Okay, let's see who we've got for ya next," Present Mic said, but Izuku didn't pay attention as he glanced around. "The seventh matchup includes two completely redundant Quirks!" It was Eijiro versus Tetsutetsu, who were even striking the same pose from the screen. "One of them's a passionate, manly fighter made of steel. The hero course's Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu!"

"BRING IT!" He shouted at the top of his lungs.

"Versus...a passionate, manly fighter made of rock! The hero course's Eijiro Kirishima!"

Eijiro cracked his hands, feeling a bit hesitant over that intro. He clenched a fist as tears were in his eyes. "Seriously, even our intros are the same?"

"Make us proud, Tetsutetsu!" Itsuka called out from the Class 1-B section. "Win just like Ibara did!"

Minoru meanwhile had fallen asleep, a snot bubble from his nose. It didn't involve any girls from his class, so he wasn't all that invested into this fight. "Look alive, shorty," Kyoka used one of her ears to stick it in the side of his head. He yelped in alarm as it definitely woke him up.

"Can't wait to see how this one ends! Begin!"

Tetsutetsu yelled as he charged forward, his skin already steel. Eijiro let out a shout himself as his skin was hardened. Both of them slid their feet while giving each other a punch, which ended up cancelling out their attacks.

Tenya sighed as he opened the door to waiting room number 2. "Hey, Ida, you did great out there," Ochaco spoke and he looked up.

"Oh, Urara-" Ochaco had a very terrified look on her face as she didn't look her usual self at all. "Whoa, what's with that face? Ugh!" He commented in alarm while Izuka was sitting to Ochaco's right, a sheepish smile on her own face.

"My face? Oh, it's nothing!" She placed a hand on the back of her head. "I guess I'm not great at hiding how nervous I am."

"I went after her when I noticed her expression, but I don't think I'm doing a good job at comforting her..." Izuka glanced down at her sketchbook as she had been showing Ochaco some of her art. "Her match isn't exactly a reassuring one..."

"Oh, no, actually, I love seeing your art!" Ochaco turned to her with a small smile, Izuka freezing a bit since most people in class still didn't know. "So at least you trusted me with it, and that's helped me a little."

"I get that," Tenya agreed with both of them. "You are up against Bakugo, after all. Not exactly an easy match. I didn't know you were an artist, Mido."

"Oh, well, um..." She turned away bashfully. "It's just something I do when I'm not in classes to relax me after a long day. Uraraka-Chan found out before the USJ incident...b-but this isn't even about me, this is about helping a friend about her upcoming match!" She waved a rapid hand since she didn't want this to get too much attention than it already did.

"Ah, you're right!" Tenya flinched and then bowed his head. "I apologize!"

"It's okay..." Ochaco sighed a little while looking at the table. "I'm kinda scared. But you know..." She then looked up at Tenya. "After seeing your match, I feel a little better."

"What's that supposed to mean?" He blinked at her in confusion. Before she could elaborate, the door opened again.

"Uraraka! Izuka!" Izuku called out, getting their attention.

"Deku! Why aren't you out there watching the matches?" The brunette couldn't help but wonder.

"I thought you wanted to get notes on all the Quirks you'd get to see," Izuka blinked at her brother, also as curious as Uraraka.

"Well, most of them ended how I expected them to," He informed while approaching them. "And it's looking like Kirishima's fight's going to drag on for quite a while."

Eijiro let out a yell while his fist was recoiled back. He punched Tetsutetsu straight in the face, causing the boy to slide backwards. "I thought you were supposed to be strong!" Tetsutetsu mocked while punching Eijiro in the same manner.

"Funny, I heard the same lie about you!" Eijiro taunted while looking to attack again.

Ochaco clenched her wrist while looking at Izuku. "I'm next. So this is it. My fight, and soon, it'll be Mido's...with whoever wins," The atmosphere got a little more tense at just how this could change both girls' lives should they have to fight each other. And if Ochaco lost...she'd be putting Izuka to Katsuki, and she didn't want that given Katsuki was brutal.

"It'll be okay," Tenya glanced between the twins. "I don't think Bakugo would use the full power of his explosions on a girl, right?"

"Yeah, he would."

"You didn't grow up with him..." Izuka gave a deep frown, just now remembering everything Katsuki did to bully her and Izuku. If he didn't go easy on her as kids, he wouldn't hold anything back on a female classmate. Ochaco gave a worried whimper, Izuka rubbing her back.

"And besides, everyone's trying to get the top spot in these games. Even if she wasn't fighting Kacchan...I don't think anyone would hold back," Izuku explained while Katsuki was currently stretching in the other waiting room. "You've helped me so much. It's my turn to help you, both of you. It's not much for hiding your Quirk for my sake, but...I hope it's a step in the right direction," He took out his notebook. "Maybe I can repay you a little bit with this," He showed it to them. "I've got a plan for how you can use your Quirks against Kacchan. It's not much, but I did my best."

"Hey!" Tenya smiled with two thumbs up. "Well, all right! This is perfect!"

"Thank you so much for doing that," Ochaco told him with a meaningful tone of gratefulness.

"Wow, that's...a lot that you're doing for us," Izuka gave a small smile.

"...But no. Sorry," Ochaco answered with a small smile, shocking the boys.

"What?" Izuku was flabbergasted by this and she turned to look back at the table.

"You're wonderful, Deku, and Mido too. I keep seeing that over and over again. During the cavalry battle, I told you both it was a good idea to team up with friends. But now that I think about it, I might've been trying to rely on you to get by. That's why...when Ida said that he was trying his best to beat you..." Ochaco slowly got onto her feet, giving a weak smile. "I actually felt kind of embarrassed for myself."

Izuka's eyes saddened as Izuku could only stare, wondering just how long she had felt this way. It wasn't like he wanted to indirectly make her feel like she had to step up when she had done so much already... "Uraraka..."

She then started to walk right past them. "So it's fine. Really," She then stopped, looking up. "Everyone's facing their fears and giving this their best. That means we're all rivals. Even you and me, Deku, and if I win, myself and Mido. So..." She turned around to give a shaky thumbs up. "Guess I'll see you in the finals," Her eyes glistened with drive and determination, causing Izuka to let out a small breath. She was about to open the door when Izuka stood up.

"Uraraka-Chan, wait," Izuka called out, causing the girl to fully turn around. She ran up to Ochaco and wrapped her arms around the girl for a hug. "Just because we're rivals...doesn't mean we're not still friends, right? You've been there for me ever since we've been classmates, and...I don't think you were trying to get by. I think...you just wanted to win the cavalry battle for all of those you were supporting..."

Ochaco's eyes shook from what she just heard, as she felt the same. Izuka may have been unwilling to socialize at first, but at this point, the two were completely comfortable around each other almost as if they were sisters. And she didn't want that to change after this sports festival.

"...Of course we're still friends, Mido," Ochaco hugged her back. Izuku and Tenya smiled at the friendship the girls shared. Izuka then pulled back with an encouraging smile.

"Good luck in your match. I'll be at the edge of my seat watching you fight hard against Bakugo-San to see what you'll do."

"Hmm...be honest," The brunette told her seriously, causing her to blink. "You kinda want to root for him too, don't you?"

"Huh?!" Izuka flinched in alarm, a slight blush on her face. Izuku and Tenya turned to her curiously and she noticed their looks. She then waved her hands rapidly. "W-What makes you say that? No...no I don't."

Ochaco gave a small amused smile, giggling. "Oh, nothing."

"Mm," The shorter girl gave a small pout at the answer. "Why do I feel like I'm missing something here...?"

Izuku glanced at his sister curiously. It's true that Kacchan seems to be very different around Izuka. I saw how intense their looks were before she sat down with us. And he always tends to be...protective too. The USJ and Minoru were just a few examples.

"Uraraka does make a good point," Tenya tilted up his glasses. "Although Bakugo is brash, he steps in when it comes to you, Mido. Like when he hit-"

"A wall! He hit a wall!" Izuku laughed nervously, his sister tilting her head in confusion. She still had yet to learn that Katsuki did hit Neito over what he said to her before the Sports Festival. Not only wasn't there a good time, she had fainted today. But also...he didn't know how to say it without freaking her out because she would get upset over it. Katsuki's punishment was to be fulfilled after the Sports Festival, so she would know eventually what happened...

Tenya glanced at him in confusion before looking at Uraraka. She signaled not to say anything about it since she could see why Izuku wanted to wait. He nodded in understanding.

"...Um...alright," Izuka gave a small awkward smile at their behavior. "I think we should go and take our seats now. Good luck, Uraraka-Chan!"

"Good luck to you too, Mido. I know you can do it!" Ochaco pumped her fists encouragingly.

Tetsutetsu received a punch to the chin from Eijiro, holding up his arm. He got punched by his opponent in the face, both of them attacking, but it didn't seem like either had an edge. Tetsutetsu let out another yell, as did Eijiro. They both clashed against each other, causing both of them to fall in unison at the same time.

"Wow, that's hurt me and all I'm doin' is watching these guys! Is it over? The hardheads look like they're KO'd! But who is the winner?"

Midnight approached both boys, examining them closely. Tetsutetsu had some scratches on his face, and Eijiro wasn't any better. Both of them looked to be about the same as injured, so there was no way of knowing who won. "They're both down! It's a draw!" She held up her hand. "When the contestants recover from this battle, the winner will be determined by a simple contest. Perhaps arm wrestling."

"Weird, they're basically copies of each other," A pro hero from the crowd commented as they were impressed.

"You gotta appreciate the passion they brought to the ring. It's inspiring, really," Another one spoke up. "I could use a good sidekick like that." The one next to him nodded along with him.

The two students were being taken away to Recovery Girl. "While we wait for Tetsutetsu and Kirishima to recover, we'll move on to the next battle." On the screen, Ochaco still looked nervous as the crowd cheered.

Shoto was leaning against the stadium, not near his class as he had wanted to be alone. "Ribbit. This might be the most disturbing matchup," Tsuyu remarked, sounding a bit scared.

"I know," Kyoka hugged herself, a bit on edge. "I almost don't wanna watch it."

Izuku, Tenya, and Izuka all gasped as they saw Ochaco step out. Do your best. You got this Izuku thought in encouragement.

I know you'll fight hard against him Izuka clenched her fists, though she almost didn't want to think that. Not because of Ochaco, but because she felt like she was underestimating Katsuki a little. As much as he confuses me and is still a huge jerk, he's definitely not going to treat her like she needs an easy win. And the same could be said for me. Although he will be more brutal towards me because of Izuku...

Ochaco came to a stop, staring down her opponent. "The eighth and penultimate battle of the first round of matches. He was kind of a hot shot in middle school, and just look at that determined face!" Katsuki had his teeth clenched looking at Ochaco. "From the hero course, Katsuki Bakugo! Versus, the one I'm personally rooting for, also from Class 1-A, Ochaco Uraraka!"

Ochaco then took a deep breath. Katsuki continued staring her down and she looked up, now ready to enact her strategy.

"Let the eighth match...begin!"
