"We've received All Might's orders loud and clear," Tenya spoke up to everyone as they were hiding someplace away from the hostage situation. "He's our teacher. I suggest we follow his instructions and escape this place. Otherwise we'd be going against his will."
Momo closed her eyes sadly. "I'm afraid I have to agree with what Ida is saying. We're still only students. We can't fight these villains if we don't have our hero licenses."
Denki then gasped in realization. "Why don't we get outta here and tell the heroes outside?"
"It's not going to be very easy to escape," Melissa frowned a little towards him. "The security system here is on the same level as that of the Tartarus prison, which is where they keep the most dangerous criminals in the world."
"Then all we can do is sit and wait until everything blows over, I guess..." Denki murmured a bit regrettably.
Kyoka then got onto her feet. "Are you really okay with that, Kaminari?" She asked him in disbelief.
"Well, what choice do we have?" He looked up at the girl with a small frown.
"Don't you think we should at least try and stop them?"
"Hey, come on!" Minoru argued back up at Kyoka. "Those villains have even got All Might trapped! There's no way to stop them ourselves if the actual pros are stuck!"
The twins stayed silent as they debated the situation that they were in. Even if they found someone to help, it would be hard to get inside. Plus, it could alarm the attackers and they could end up killing someone if they weren't careful...
Shoto looked at his hand. "Aren't we trying to be pros ourselves?" He asked a bit gravely, Momo gasping towards him.
"Well, yes, but we're not allowed to work as heroes. You know that!" She reminded her classmate; she knew that people were in trouble. But to disobey an order...they wouldn't be good students, and they were largely outmatched.
"Does that mean...that it's right for us to do nothing at all?" He made his hand into a fist. When he wanted to be a hero, he didn't associate that with standing by and doing nothing. After all, if Hosu taught him anything, it was that people would get hurt the longer someone didn't act.
"Well, it's complicated," Momo frowned a little from the question. They were all in silence from the situation, as all of them were only just teenagers...either side had its pros and cons. If they went to fight, they'd be breaking orders and getting seriously injured. If they didn't...the hostages would still be in the same situation, longing for help.
"...I wanna help." Everyone except Izuka gasped towards Izuku.
"I agree with my brother," Izuka nodded a little.
"Really, you guys?" Ochaco wondered and they looked up towards her in determination.
"I want to save them."
"I do too," Izuka gestured to herself. "If rescue is the only option to fight back, I'll do it." She then blinked as she realized that she had the same mindset as both her brother and Katsuki. Even though she was still upset over what he did, his ideals weren't something she could ignore. Not when he had weirdly inspired her during the Sports Festival.
"You two wanna go fight those villains?!" Minoru screeched at the twins. "Didn't you learn anything from the USJ, Midoriya and Mido?!"
"This is totally different!" Izuku argued back to him, Tenya looking at the twins in bewilderment. "We don't have to fight them. We just need to think of a way to rescue All Might and everyone else at the party without facing the bad guys."
"That's easy to say, but you know that it won't be that simple," Denki spoke up skeptically.
"I know, but I still wanna try!" Izuku insisted to everyone and Izuka narrowed her eyes a bit, looking much more fierce. Melissa gasped towards the two of them. "We can figure out the best plan of action is and keep these criminals from winning! We can save everyone!"
"He's right. I'd rather be able to save someone tonight than to allow anyone to get hurt because we didn't try hard enough for them. If a pro hero was here with us, would they honestly turn around and leave? We might be the only hope these people have, you guys. Please don't walk away from them now," Izuka's eyes softened a little.
Melissa clenched her mouth shut from what they were saying. She wanted to help heroes with her support items in life, just like her father. And she knew that if her father was in the same situation, he wouldn't run either as Izuka was trying to convince them.
"Are you sure?" Ochaco frowned a little.
"I know where the security system is," Melissa spoke up, getting their attention. "It's on the top floor of this tower. If these criminals managed to take control of it, then the authentication locks and password have probably been disabled. We should be able to restart the system ourselves. We just have to stay off the villains' radar until we can get to the top floor, that's all. If we do that, then the whole island will be safe again!"
"...Then it's possible," Izuku murmured with a bit of hope.
"Sure, but how do we keep on the low for that long?" Kyoka walked up to the blonde.
"The security system hasn't discovered us yet. That means the villains probably don't know how it works very well," She explained to everyone and Izuka blinked at her statement.
If they don't know how the security system works, why go through the trouble of disabling it? That seems to suggest that they're not from the island at all...so why come here then? She bit at her thumb in thought.
"So we avoid fighting anyone and try to get the place back to normal," Shoto murmured while Momo looked away in thought. "It could work."
"Not bad, what do you think?" Denki smiled up at Kyoka.
"Let's do it," She nodded in agreement, and this freaked out Minoru.
"But many of our enemies are likely gathered there on the top floor..." Momo was still a bit hesitant.
"If we're fast, we won't have to fight them!" Everyone turned to Izuku again. "When the security system goes back to normal, All Might and the others will be released! They'll immediately jump into action and stop the villains, I know it!"
"Exactly, that way we won't have to risk our futures of being pro heroes," Izuka nodded at her brother. "The pros can't do anything if we don't do this for them. We have to help them out like they've been helping us and everyone else."
Tenya stared at the twins in silence. They would be breaking orders, but also, their hearts were still in the right place. And this wouldn't be the first time they had done unorthodox methods to fulfill their goals. This was the twins in their true element...
"Let's do this, guys!" Ochaco pumped her fists in determination.
"Uraraka..." Izuku murmured at her immediate agreement.
"I don't wanna sit around here being helpless! Not if there's something we can actually try!" The two smiled up at her eagerness to help. "What's important is that we're helping people, even if we're not real heroes!"
Izuku stood up with a small smile. "That's exactly the way I feel about things. We'll follow our hearts and save the island!"
"Yeah!" Ochaco smiled happily, Izuka standing up.
"Thank you for standing by us, Ochaco!" She hugged the brunette happily, the two girls smiling.
"Midoriya. Mido," Shoto spoke up, hands in his pockets. "I'll go with you guys too."
"I'm in!" Kyoka jerked a thumb to herself.
"Todoroki!" Izuku smiled happily at the two.
"Thanks, Kyoka!" Ochaco hummed and Izuka nodded in agreement.
"The moment I think we've gone too far, it's over," Tenya spoke up while biting his lip. "If that's something you can agree to...I'll join you as well," He looked up at the trio.
"Okay!"
"Alright," Momo nodded with a small smile. "If that's the case, I'll go too!"
"Obviously I'm in!" Denki stood up in a bit of excitement.
"Yaoyorozu!"
"Kaminari!"
"Thank you, all of you," Izuka smiled at their classmates gratefully while Minoru looked around in a panic.
"Have you all lost your minds?!" He screamed at the top of his lungs, crying his eyes out. "Alright, I'll go!"
"Thanks, Mineta!" Izuku told him, even though no one was begging the boy to go and he had the choice to stay...
"The girls will think we're so cool for this!" Denki gushed while Melissa looked around at the group happily.
"Be a hero, Mineta!" Ochaco encouraged and Izuku walked up to the 17-year-old.
"Melissa, you can wait here for us, okay?"
"No, I'm going too," She clenched a determined fist, shocking the boy.
"But...without a Quirk, you'll be in danger." The last thing he wanted was for her to get hurt if they did end up fighting. That technically made her a civilian, and he couldn't risk her life.
"I don't suppose any of you know how to change the settings of the island's security system," She retorted and they all looked to each other silently. She made a good point; they'd be horribly lost or wasting time without knowing how it worked. "I'm a student at the Academy. I'll be useful to you."
"Hold on," Izuku waved his hands a bit.
"I know I might get in your way..." She frowned a bit; her feelings of wanting to do something good were all too apparent. "At least until we get up to the top floor. But I want to help! People are in danger!" Izuku gasped a little as she reminded him of himself... "Please!"
"Izuku," His sister placed a hand on his shoulder. "We'll need her. Just because she doesn't have a Quirk doesn't mean she can't be a hero too," She then leaned into his ear. "We both remember the sludge villain incident, don't we?"
He paused as Izuka was right. He didn't have a Quirk when he tried to save Katsuki when they met All Might. But they still did it because they wanted to do good. Just like how Melissa wanted to help despite being Quirkless herself. The older girl blinked in confusion at the two, wondering what they were talking about.
"...Yeah, alright then. Let's do this!" He stated and Izuka smiled at her brother. "We'll save everyone!"
They all silently nodded in agreement, smiling towards her. She returned the gesture and nodded as well. "Yeah!"
Meanwhile, All Might coughed a little while still restrained. He was running low on power, and soon, his identity would be revealed... He felt a presence, looking up to see the twins up above once again. Then worry turned into a panic. Oh no!
Izuku nodded silently as Izuka kept a determined face. Those looks in your eyes. Don't tell me...please, run away! He looked at them pleadingly, knowing that they were up to something. Not just because of experience, but because he knew that they wouldn't sit around and do nothing.
The two shook their heads no. We know what you're thinking.
It's too dangerous! The hero gave them an intense look to try and convince them to not go through with it.
But we have to do whatever we can to help!
His eyes shook as he didn't want them to get caught up in this. They were still just kids. Young Midoriya...Young Mido.
It'll be okay. You'll see! The two then turned around and ran off.
They're not going to leave...I know I should be furious that they're ignoring their teacher's wishes... Smoke started to come from his body, as he wouldn't have much longer before he turned back to normal. He should be angry with them...but a smile formed on his face. Who am I kidding? If they didn't act right now, then he wouldn't be my successor! And she wouldn't be a fledging Symbol of Light! I'll just have to keep this form up...and have faith that they can get us out of this situation on their own! He willed his body to stop smoking as the twins returned back to their friends.
We're counting on you...fledging heroes!
Tenya turned around to the others. "Let's go!" He clenched a fist in determination.
