Chapter 295

Hiccups POV:

It's been four weeks since we met Daiki and the other four survivors of the ninja clans who had been doing their best to rebuild their clans to their former glory. The reason for this is their lack of resources, well trained warriors to teach others and severe lack of funding along with not being able to feed many of their causing them to become targets of other clans who wished to steal their clan secrets, so they'd lost a few members in battle. My ninja were clearly upset discovering what happened to their clans and knew their duty was to their clans and after all they'd done for me in the past, I agreed to help them in any way I could. This led to me and my family going to everyone of their main bases and meeting with all the members of each clan so I could get an idea of how we could help. The first thing we did was examine the bases since over the years with so few members they had fallen into big messes and in need of a lot of repair and reconstruction, but I didn't mind though since it gave me a chance to check out the bases of each clan.

For starters the base of the Rushing Water ninja clan being led by a man named Kaito was a large hidden temple that was built on an island in the middle of a lake surrounded by rapids and stone pillars making it near impossible to get through. Along with this there were hidden hot springs and geysers all over the island which helped cover the island in mist, so it was harder to navigate. This temple had mostly been damaged by years of rapids beating the walls of the island, causing them to collapse and bring parts of the temple with it while a lot of mildew and moss had grown in cracks. Along with this the gardens where they grew food had long since been flooded while the boats, they used to be either docked and in need of repair or at the bottom of the lake. I brought a couple of my tidal classes from my island along with a couple of dragons I use to cut down trees and we spent a week helping recover ships from the bottom of the lake and repairing them. Along with this we'd reinforced the sides of the island using supports made of depths sapphire to ensure the walls on the sides didn't crumble while also making a new stone dock for the ships and filling in the cracks. We also drained the garden while reinforcing its walls to ensure that there'd be no more flooding before using my panpipes and Hadasa's power to regrow the plants they grew to eat.

The base of the Crushing Earth ninja clan being led by a man named Riku was built in a long stone valley and actually carved into the mountain in a way that it blended into the valleys wall. The place was nice with a water supply connected to river that they used to fill their pools of drinking water but that was one of the few things that was alright with the place. The problem is the structure was a little unstable, so a few rooms had collapsed as had a few halls, but the main problem is the rocks weren't exactly the best dirt to grow food out of. We ended up bringing some gronkles and whispering death to help with the tunnels spending another week there lining the tunnels with supports made of stone and diamond steel and filling the garden with good dirt that food could be grown from before sowing seeds and having Hadasa help grow the food with the help of my pan pipes.

The Flaming Forest ninja clan led by Homura, their base was a temple that was built in the middle of a forest made up of hogyoku trees which gave the illusion of burning trees. The temple itself was surrounded by petrified trees often used for training but over time, the temple had fallen into disrepair with a ton of cracks forming in the walls with some of them collapsing. What was worse is with them being ninja of Flames their temple was decorated with torches and at some point, a few lit ones collapsed causing immense damage. For them I spent a week repairing the walls, removing the downed petrified wood trees, regrowing their garden and of course repairing the damage caused by the fire while also reinforcing the temples supports and lining the walls bottoms with Ruby dragon to make it more fireproof.

The Silent Wind ninja clan lead by their leader Hayato, as expected their base was built high up in the mountains around mountain peaks with bridges that connected various buildings. For warmth, they used the hot springs that were scattered around the snow-covered peaks and mainly inhabited by snow monkeys who enjoyed soaking in them. The problem this temple was facing is that there had been an avalanche that destroyed some bridges and with the temple being so high up it was hard to get resources and materials while also being difficult to grow crops in the cold and raise livestock. For them, I brought some of my cold loving dragons to help rebuild the temples and the bridges while spending a week making the supports for both the bridges and the temples new supports out of polar quarts mixed with diamond steel. I also had my whispering deaths dig large gaps on the higher parts of the mountain to lessen the strength of the avalanches should they fall again. As for their food and livestock problem, we built a crop garden like the one I had at home using one of the old temples by smashing down walls to make more room and taking out the roof before replacing it with diamond steel mixed with flexible glass and putting in some fever stones to heat up the room a bit more before growing the crops with Hadasa and my panpipes. We did the same construction project on another temple but this one was going to be used for livestock, so we just grew grass and put in a few stables and coops.

Finally, the Metal Blade ninja clans led by Daiki base was built into a mountain and made like mines with one central point that was in a large cavern where they had made a small temple. The walls of this cavern were lined with iron veins and various freshwater springs were dug into the ground which supplied their water, there was also a large open cavern where the suns light shone in so they could grow their crops. Unfortunately, the mines had fallen due to the supports failing with the gardens being full of boulders and walls and roofs of the temple causing tons of damage. After I brought my hot burple Gobber to help deal with the iron covered caverns that had collapsed, we spent a week rebuilding the tunnels using diamond steel mixed with gronkle iron to strengthen the supports and had Gobber and some gronkles eat the boulders in the garden. Once that was taken care of, Hadasa and I regret the gardens vegetables and herbs so that food wouldn't be a problem while also redirecting one of the springs in to keep them watered.

In addition to all the repairs to their bases, I had to restock all their armories as they didn't have skilled blacksmiths to keep their weapons maintained or make new weapons. Fortunately, I already had multiple ninja weapons made of diamond steel and gronkle iron in my armory which I intended to sell when I got the chance but now, they were going to help rebuild their clans. It wasn't enough though since I had to begin forging multiple new weapons which I didn't mind since it was nice to work in the forge again, but it took a little extra time since the various forges of the bases needed to be cleaned and repaired due to lack of use. Fortunately, some of my own ninjas were also experienced in the forge so they were able to help me out a bit in creating new weapons for their clans.

Then there's the problem of their numbers in since after summoning all their clan members back I learnt that each clan had a total of fifteen fully trained members including the masters. To regain their numbers, both me and a group of members from each clan had gone after multiple bandit groups who were known to kill the adults while kidnapping the children to sell them as slaves since they were easier to deal which granted us an opportunity to find new recruits while also being able to help the ninja with their training. We mostly left the bandits tied up in their bases while we took the kids away along with the bandits' profits and food supplies before we sent messages to the local samurai on where the bandits could be found. While the samurai took care of the bandits, we used the money and distributed it among the clans to help rebuild their funds, the food to restock their supplies and the kids would be trained to become ninja. I did offer to take the kids who had relatives to live with them but they rarely did since their families mostly all lived in the same village and were killed by the bandits when they attacked their homes. The kids all knew they'd be shipped off to an orphanage somewhere if they were given to the locals of other villages since nobody wanted more mouths to feed so they all accepted places in the clans and the training that came with it. The masters had no issues with this since that was how their clans originally did things in order to recruit new members who weren't born into their clans.

As for training the kids and the other ninja, the master's would handle it alongside all of my own ninja who were happy to train them to help rebuild their clans. Speaking of my own ninja, I'd seen the weapons they were forced to give up when Akuhei imprisoned them in their new bodies and I have to say, I am greatful they didn't have them when I first went up against Akuhei, they'd have no trouble taking me out. Seriously, each of these weapons used the element their clans were named after and now they were going to come in handy when it came to future attacks on enemy bases.

Water's weapon was a set of hook swords like the ones he used when I first met him, but these ones were different since although the handles were made of metal, the hooks and blades weren't. These were made of water and despite this, they could cut through gronkle iron as if it were nothing and in addition to this, they could sink into the handles, so they were more portable and easier to conceal which was good for a ninja. Along with this they could also extend with the blades becoming like water whips while the hooks remained solid so they're perfect for grappling hooks and long-range attacks to pull enemies in.

Fire's weapon was of course a pole arm in the form of a Jumonji spear with the crescent moon shaped part of the blade facing down instead of up like the traditional Jumonji spear with the grip of the pole being wrapped in crimson red leather. Now this weapon was hotter than dragon fire and lava combined which I know because it literally melted a piece of gronkle iron the size of my head in half a second when he placed the blade on top of it. Furthermore, the blade could cut through anything like a hot knife through yak butter while also being able to fully ignite and be able to blast a fireball the size of my head out of it. This fireball may not have looked like much, but it was hot enough to melt through gronkle iron without slowing down and it could create a fire that spread faster than any wildfire I've ever seen.

Earth's weapon, as expected was a chain weapon called manriki-gusari which were essentially a short chain with weights on either end that in regular hands is used for beating or strangling enemies but in a trained ninja's hands, they can be powerful weapons. Still though they weren't that lethal among ninja weapons which is probably why Akuhei didn't allow Earth to use them as his weapon when he served under him. Now the mystic manriki-gusari Earth was forced to give up were a different story since they could easily become weapons that were very lethal in different ways. For starters the chain can extend so it could go from five feet to at most twenty-five feet so they could be used to disarm enemies by seizing their weapons or strangle them by wrapping them around their necks and other uses. The chains weren't the only things that could change as the weights could also change in two ways, they could change sizes from being as small as half the size of my fist the size of my head and no matter what size they could go from light as a feather to as heavy as a quaken while remaining light as a feather to Earth. Because of this they could be incredibly deadly being able to crush enemies easily at high speeds and at least deliver some serious damage to their bones.

Wind's weapon was a big surprise since I'd never seen a weapon like it since it was literally a giant, four bladed shuriken that had blades that resembled knives and could be folded up into one blade with the ring at the top and a single handle in the middle of the ring. This shuriken was very impressive since it was able to cut through gronkle iron of as if it were nothing and spin so fast it could create a small hurricane that was made of wind that was sharp as the blades themselves. This weapon could be spun two ways with Wind either rapidly spinning it in his own hands or throwing it and while its air born, he can control where it went using his arms to direct which way it went.

Metal's weapon of choice was a weapon known as a nagamaki which was the Japanese version of a long sword with a very long handle as long as my forearm and an even longer blade. This blade was pretty impressive since it was so thin, and I know this since I actually took off one of my own hairs and pushed it down on the blade and it cut it right down the middle. Along with this, Metal had no trouble wielding it and could even swing it which would project the slashes at any target he chose so he could attack from long distances as well.

All in all, my ninja master's had basically just gained a mountain of power that would definitely help us when it came to future stealth missions against enemy bases. We'd already been putting their new abilities to good use in sending a message to other ninja clans who'd been attacking their clans to steal their secrets. It was mainly small mercenary ninja groups who just wanted to find ways to become stronger or were hired by their clients to get their hands on the clans' treasures but there was the occasional official ninja clan that had attacked. In their cases we'd sneak into their bases and do some damage to make sure they understood the original masters were back and they were not happy.

One such clan was a ninja clan known as the Crimson Fang ninja clan who were known to be one of the most merciless and skilled clans in all of Japan. They were mainly so well-known because they'd always go after other clans and steal their most prized treasures as trophies which earned them a lot of enemies but those who came after them never returned alive. It was for these reasons that I felt it best we stick to the shadows which is why it was fortunate a group made of twenty of them had been scouting the base of the Flaming Forest ninja clan for another attack. Me and my ninja masters captured nineteen of them who I handed over to the current heads of the clan to deal with after tying them up using my bolas to ensure they couldn't escape since no blade could cut my wires. As for the one who escaped, he used a few smoke bombs to disappear but it also gave me the opportunity to slip into his shadow without being seen by him so we could be taken straight to their base.

Shortly after that the scout had come to one of their smaller bases and met up with some of his superiors who wanted details on what the scouts had discovered and was surprised when only one of the scouts reported to them. When they found out what happened the leader of the group grabbed him by the throat and lifted him up, merging their shadows and giving me the opportunity to slip into his shadow since he refused to let the scout return to their main base in case he was followed. This brings us to now with me standing in my shadows domain with my ninja masters surrounding me as we watched things through the mirror that showed us what was happening outside. As I watched the walls of the base pass by and I saw more than a few ninjas training in the rooms that we passed along with various pieces of art on the walls.

It was then the ninja walked into a room with a paper lamp in each corner, a black tapestry against the back wall with a crimson cobra in the middle while lining the walls were pedestals with various weapons, armor and scrolls on them. It wasn't that hard to figure out these were the various trophies from the other clans they'd attacked since in the center of the room, sitting on his knees was an elderly Japanese man in a black kimono with crimson undershirt. He had black hair with grey lining the sides, a few wrinkles and a grey moustache, but despite his age it was easy to tell he was powerful. It was as the owner of the shadow we were in, bowed to the elder with his head down and one fist on his knee and the other placed against the floor in front of him before he said.

"Master, forgive me but the scouts we sent to attack the Flaming Forest clan were all captured except for one who was able to escape." The elder didn't open his eyes as he asked.

"How were they defeated?"

"They were defeated by a group of six ninja who possessed mystical weapons of great power but it may just be the scouter making excuses."

"That it may be but keep an eye on them as this may start problems for our clan in the future." He nodded before a flicker of the lanterns allowed us to switch the shadows when they connected and as soon as the ninja left the room, the doors closed leaving the elder alone as he rubbed his chin.

"He was smart not to bring back the scout, nobody could follow him here." Hearing this made me smile and whisper into the mirror.

"I wouldn't say that." I saw the elder jump up and got into battle stance while pulling out a katana from his robes and got ready to fight while looking around.

"Who's there?"

"The one who is going to revive the Rushing Water, Crushing Earth, Silent Wind, Flaming Forest and Metal Blade ninja clans."

"Those clans were wiped out long ago?"

"You know that's not true; you know there were survivors who have been doing their best to return their clans to their former glory." He looked around the room. "A challenge made even more difficult due to the attacks by you and your clan members to try and steal their clans' secrets and techniques along with their treasures."

"My clan has done this to other clans for centuries to prove our superior strength and skills to the other clans and those who wish to hire us." He shrugged. "To be able to do so to so many skilled clans is a good way to enhance our reputation and gives us a way to enhance our own skill arsenals while weakening or foes and giving some of the younger students a taste of what it is like for future missions."

"Please, you guys just get a sick thrill out of hurting others and their pride while making yourselves look good for the scum who you call your clients."

"You know nothing of our clients."

"I've been told enough about the people you work for to know that when I'm done here, I should pay them a visit and let them know what I think of their business'." He kept his face emotionless as he continued to look for me.

"I will not allow that." I smirked.

"And how are you going to stop me when you don't even know where I am."

"I must admit your skills are impressive, but you are mistaken if you think I shall allow you to leave this place alive and if there is one thing my year of blindness taught me it is how to pinpoint where a person's voice is coming from." He immediately turned around and slashed his sword down at the floor where his shadow was but all he did was scratch the stone, which is when I decided to make my presence known and reached out, grabbing the sword with my prosthetic hand and rose up from his shadow.

"Impressive, nobody's ever been able to find me like that before." He pulled his sword back with a raised eyebrow.

"What are you?"

"I'm a guy who doesn't like thieves like you and your clan who beat others when they're down like the Flaming Forest ninja clan who you were planning to attack."

"You are the one who defeated my clans' scouts?" I nodded. "From what I was told you gave quite an impressive performance, but I can assure you that those scouts are nothing compared to my other forces." He snapped his fingers and the walls slid open to reveal multiple armed ninjas on the other side. "When I found out you were here, I set off an alarm summoning my clan members here." He sheathed his katana and sat back down in his original place as one armed with a ninjato who I recognized at the one who brought me here said.

"I was told of how you defeated our scout's foreigner, and I will admit it was impressive but if you think you stand a chance against us than you are mistaken in thinking we are only as skilled as the scouts." I couldn't help but chuckle making them all look at me confused.

"And you're mistaken if you think I was going all out on your scouts." I activated my ox flame boots speed mode and rushed past him appearing behind him before any of them realized it. "The truth is, I was holding back." He turned to face me going for his ninjato but I quickly slammed my fist into his gut, knocking him out cold. "Way back!" I pulled out my shadow sickle with my prosthetic and quickly pulled out the blade and dangled it before spinning it around by the chain. "Now with you guys I won't be so kind." I quickly brought the rotating chain in front of my body to black some shuriken before I charged at them to begin the fight against them.

10 minutes later

It's been ten minutes since my fight begin and I've taken down every single ninja who came at me, leaving them on the floor unconscious as their master watched. Now I'd just downed the last of the ninja and was taking a short breath before I felt a sting in the side of my neck and reached back to pull out a dart with a black fletching. I turned to the master who was lowering a blow pipe from his lips as he nodded and said.

"You were impressive, I will admit that but the poison within that dart shall extinguish your life as it has done so many before with so many other enemies of my clan." I didn't feel any different and raised an eyebrow.

"Did you steal the recipe for this poison from one of the ninja clans that was almost wiped out by Akuhei?" He nodded. "Yeah, it's not going to do you any good." He stared at me. "I trained under the fallen masters for years and the one who trained them as well and all part of the training each of them put me through was constantly poisoning me and then giving me the antidotes to develop an immunity to the various poisons they use." I smirked. "And with a poison immunity I was given by the gods, you'll have to do better than a dart to kill me." He frowned and stood up, bringing out his sword.

"Will this do then?" I smiled.

"It would but first, there are some others who are also looking for a little revenge on your clan." I released my ninja from my shadow. "These are the founders of and Rushing Water, Crushing Earth, Silent Wind, Flaming Forest and Metal Blade ninja clans, the clans you have been attacking." I then smirked. "I believe it's time your clan learnt why they were so feared before Akuhei destroyed them." I turned to my ninja. "Go and show the Crimson Fangs why nobody ever attacked your clans before." As soon as the words left my mouth, they took off and seconds later screams echoed through the halls mixed with the sound of explosions while I turned to the elder and readied my sickle and chain. "Now where were we?" We charged at each other, and the fight began.

Half-an-hour later

I stared down at the unconscious form of the old man who was the master of the Crimson Fang ninja clan with blood drizzling down over my eye from a small cut above it given to me by the now broken sword with the blade on the ground and his handle gripped in the elders' hand. I sighed and gently felt the cut on my face and gave a nod to the elder who had been the first mortal man to wound me in a good long time and he used only his skills to do it. I had to admit it was impressive and it was a good eye opener for me to show how much room I had to enhance my own skills before I could take on a more skilled opponent and walk away without any wounds and if it weren't for my equipment, I knew I'd have a lot more wounds than the simple cut. I looked around at the downed ninja before sighing and brought out my spiderpack and put it down before loading up the treasures they'd stolen from other clans so we might be able to return them to their proper clans and possibly gain some new allies. After that I loaded up the broken sword the clan leader and his tapestry as trophies from my fight with him before bringing out my mystic Ganji waters and healing my cut and then putting it away. I picked up my spiderpack before leaving the room to meet up with my ninja masters, crossing a lot of injured ninja and damaged walls. I eventually made it to a large meeting room where my ninjas were waiting for me with their weapons still at the ready making me smile and walk up to them as I said.

"You guys really know how to do some damage." They nodded. "Find anything of interest while you were tearing the place apart?" They nodded again. "Show me!" They turned and led me out of the room to a large, locked door made of metal. "Now what would they be hiding behind such a big door." I pulled out my red bell to unlock the door along with my green bell to disarm any traps. "Let's find out." I walked up to the door and heard the familiar ring of my green bell and gently rung it near where it was glowing, disarming the traps in the wall and then using my other bell to unlock the door before pulling it open and when I looked inside, I let out a whistle. "No wonder the door was so heavily guarded." The entire room was filled with gold and jewels. "This must be their treasury." I pulled off my spiderpack and shrugged. "No sense in leaving it all here and making it easier for the Crimson Fangs to undo the damage we've done to their base while also giving them a taste of their own medicine and we can use it to help rebuild the clans." I place my spiderpack on the ground and had it grow. "Earth, keep watch for anyone coming, Water, you go and check the base for anymore Crimson Fangs who are still conscious and take them down." They nodded and took position. "The rest of you, help me load up all these treasures into my spiderpack." They nodded and we got to work.

1 hour later

It's been an hour since we began raiding the treasury and since then we've also raided their armory of all weapons, their library of all books and scrolls, collected all the cows, sheep and chickens they had for livestock, robbed their food stalls destroyed their training room and got a list of all their clients and where they're hiding. This last bit was going to keep me busy since they were mostly corrupt nobles and large bandit groups who had been causing havoc all over the land which would be perfect missions for the clans. Now I was back in Akuhei's palace with my family, and we were dealing with the various items I'd brought back, sorting through all the scrolls and books and separating them into piles with each belonging to a different clan. I intended to discuss things with the clan heads and see if any of the clans who these scrolls and books belonged to were still around so we could return them. It was then Blanca asked.

"Hiccup, are you sure this is wise?" I turned to her and asked.

"What do you mean?"

"I've gone over some of these scrolls and techniques and wonder if it's wise to hand them over to the clans who may use them to harm innocent people." My other wives nodded as Astrid said.

"She's not wrong, maybe it would be better to keep these techniques to ourselves." I shook my head.

"No, if even just one of their members sees us using their clans' techniques, it could mean trouble like it did with the five clans but unlike them, I doubt these clans will be so friendly." They nodded as Blanca looked down.

"But still-" I smiled and gently tilted her head up to look in her eyes.

"Don't worry Blanca, I'm going to do my research on the clans to check for any like the Crimson Fangs and those that are like them aren't going to get their techniques or treasures back." Hadasa then asked.

"But how will you know about them?"

"I intend to have a meeting with the five clan heads and ask them about the other clans to see what kind of ninja they are before I send out some of my own ninja to deliver messages for a meeting spot where I can return their clans belongings to them." Egil then said.

"And in doing so you might be able to gain some allies for the clans?" I nodded.

"Exactly." I then picked up a scroll. "Now let's finish this up since I'd like to go visit the clan leaders in the morning."

8 days later

It's been eight days since my attack on the Crimson Fang ninja clan and since then I'd spoken with the clan heads after dropping off some treasure, weapons, livestock and the items stolen from them by the Crimson Fangs to help their clans recover. They told me about the various clans that the various items belonged to and was in luck since they were mostly allies with at least one of the clans from before Akuhei attacked so they know where their bases are and could send messengers to them. The remaining clans weren't allies of any of the five clans so they'd be harder to get in contact with but fortunately, none of them were like the Crimson Fangs so they could be reasoned with.

In all these cases, I decided to give them the benefit of the home ground and sent out the messages telling them that they could decide the place and time for the meeting. Among the clans I met there were representatives of the Paling Moon, Wailing Wolf, Black Sand, Golden Lotus and the Roaring Tiger ninja clans who were all eager to have their clans stolen treasures back but as expected, they weren't trusting of me. Although, the heads of the clans who came to personally collect their clans' treasures gave the appearance of coming to the meetings alone I could easily tell they brought multiple members of their clans that surrounded the area we were in. I couldn't blame them for being cautious since I'd be suspicious as well if someone was offering to return such valuable treasures to me without expecting anything in return. They each made their suspicions clear when I returned the items to them and all I told them was I wanted them to form an alliance with the five other clans or reestablish the alliances that faded after Akuhei's attack. They all agreed to these conditions and arranged a meeting with the heads of the clans to work out the agreements for the alliances but all of them wanted a place where there would be no chances of there being any chances of betrayal with the leaders having members hidden in the shadows.

Their paranoia was understandable so I offered them the use of one of my places and to take them there myself so they wouldn't be able to sneak any members in with them as they'd have to be in physical contact with either me or their leader and since the portal door was in the middle of a clearing it was impossible to hide them. The looks on their faces when I brought them through the door was something that I would always remember with a laugh since a ninja was always taught to remain stone faced and never show any emotion. Still though, it required a lot of explaining and a couple of illusions to show what I'd done to gain such a powerful gift from the gods themselves, but it was all worth it to get them all to understand that this meeting was safe.

The place I decided would be the perfect place for the meeting to take place was my ice palace in the arctic since there was a meeting room and there was no way anybody would interfere with the meeting since it was literally in the middle of a frozen wasteland. Despite this, I had to give them a tour of the palace to prove it was suitable for a meeting place and had to defrost a few of them after they wanted to make sure the land around the palace wasn't a trick and ran outside as a large blizzard was passing. I had to drag them back in since they were having trouble with their bodies covered in frost and ice which restricted their movements, but it was enough to prove we weren't in Japan anymore.

This brings us to now with me and all the clan leaders in the frozen Arctic in my ice palace's meeting room after I finished defrosting the multiple leaders who went out into the blizzard, with me sitting at the head of the table and Toothless curled up around the chair. We'd been spending the last three hours discussing the agreements to the alliance in which the clans would come to the aid of each other when one of them was in trouble whether it be in a war, missions, financial and other such things. It was because of this I was able to also form a few deals with the clans in which I promised to supply them with gronkle iron and iron gronkle weapons for their clans after they saw what they were capable of and in return they'd help me when I needed it. I smiled as I lifted the goblet of water I had as did the ninja master's as I said.

"A toast to the united alliance of the great ninja clans!" They all raised their own goblets before we all drank down our drinks of water to toast to the alliance. "Now I believe it best I get you all back to Japan and so you can get back to your clans who are probably wondering if you're all alright." They all nodded and with that said we left the room to return to Japan.

2 days later

It's been three days since the meeting of the great clans and since then I've made multiple drop offs of gronkle iron and ninja weapons made of gronkle iron for all the clans who agreed to the alliance. Now I was making my way back to the island after spending some more time in the arctic but this time I was with the five clan leaders alone along with Toothless and my own ninja masters and we'd just spent the past three hours discussing how to make my relationship with the clans' work. It was decided that the masters and my other ninja would spend their free time here in Japan helping with the training of the clan's forces and when the masters weren't available there would always be one of the clans ninjas to take their place in training the members. In return they'd help in training my kids by teaching them some of the techniques that they've each developed over the years and they had no problems with it since they considered my family members of their clans since their clan founders served us.

I walked through the portal door leading to my home and as soon as I was through it I let out a sigh of relief since negotiations were exhausting to say the least since we'd been trying to make it beneficial to for all of us. I walked into the entrance hall and took a breath while releasing Toothless from my shadow and turning to him and smiled at him as he crooned.

"I'm fine bud, just tired from all the work." I then noticed the time outside and went through the eyes of my automatons and smiled a little wider. "Still though, it looks like we have a bit of time before dinner's ready so what do you say we enjoy a flight around the island." He growled in joy and leaned down playfully making me smile. "I knew you would."

I led him outside and mounted him before we took off into the air with the fresh night air hitting my face and running through my hair as I laughed. Who could blame me though since I'd been so busy helping the clans rebuild, dealing with bandits, forging gronkle iron ninja weapons for all the clans and so much more other things that I hadn't been able to just take Toothless on a flight and relax. It was clear to me that Toothless also missed our flights since he'd been forced to go flying alone or with only his flock to keep him company and most of them weren't into the stunt flying, we normally enjoy together. I could tell he was a little pent up and it made me smile and lean down as I said.

"Hey bud, let's go crazy on this flight bud and have some fun." He growled in joy before I steered him down into a dive as I laughed and pulled up when we were a few feet from the water and took off for a good time.

3 hours later

I walked into my bedroom wearing my night robe and smiled at the sight of my wives waiting for me with them smiling back at me before I said.

"You three have no idea how happy I am to finally be home in our own bedroom." They nodded as Astrid replied.

"I can't blame you with how busy you were in Japan during what was meant to be a vacation." Hadasa then said.

"Not to mention all the negotiations you had to go through concerning the ninja clans and coming up with a way to make your relationship with the ninja who serve you still work while they help their clans." I sighed and took off my robe.

"I'm just glad it's all sorted but it's not going to be easy tomorrow since I have to sort out the bazaar and undergo chief training with my dad." I groaned and hopped onto the bed and lay back staring at the ceiling. "I've got to talk to my dad about giving me some time off to take Toothless and just go flying like we used to before I became the champion of the gods and this great hero everyone expects so much of." It was then I felt the familiar weight on top of my body followed by familiar arms wrapping around my neck and looked down to see Blanca who nestled her head into my neck.

"Everyone expects so much of you because they have all seen what you are capable of and know you are capable of so much more, but we know it may feel like a burden at times." I felt Astrid and Hadasa take their places at my sides. "And we also know that all you do is for the betterment of the world." Astrid then said.

"She's not wrong, you always work hard to help people no matter who they are or what they offer." Hadasa then said.

"This is one of the things that we love about you so just remember that when things get rough, you have a family that's waiting here at home to help you and let you rest." I smiled.

"Thanks girls." I closed my eyes. "You all always know exactly what to say to me when I need it and I love that about you girls." With that said I allowed myself to drift into the realm of sleep.

AN: And thus ends another chapter and with it I bring the news that I am back at home, back at work and I am not happy to say it has been incredibly busy with the need to set up and install all the needed programs for seven computers in the last two days alone and still need to set up three more tomorrow so as you can guess it's going to be tough for me with little writing time. For now though, I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and will review kindly to it so have a nice day and if you have ideas on what you want to see next, just let me know and I will see if it fits. Have a nice day.
