Chapter 304

Hiccups POV:

I groaned and opened my eyes but hissed in pain as the light of the sun shone down into my eyes before the familiar voice of Blanca cried out my name and felt her hands on my face. I took a few deep breaths and slowly opened my eyes to see her and Astrid looking down at me in concern before I groaned and sat up while asking.

"What happened?" Astrid replied.

"We were hoping you could tell all of us that since you and that strange guy you called Fereydoon just disappeared into some sort of dome that wouldn't let anyone in no matter how hard we tried to break in." Blanca then said.

"After an hour it shattered as if it were glass which is when we found you laying on the ground unconscious with burn wounds, Fereydoon dead and a strange sword and gem laying in front of you."

"How long have I been out."

"A day." I looked at them with a serious look.

"Did anyone mess with the body or the items?" They both shook their heads before Astrid answered.

"No, Brant, Chara and Egil are ensuring nobody gets near them while Chiaki is caring for the babies as Hadasa helps keep people calm." I smiled and nodded.

"Good!" I then couldn't help but groan and rub my head in pain as I realized I now had a ton of knowledge and skills that weren't my own. "I have a lot to figure out what's going on now so I'm going to need some time to meditate." They nodded as Blanca said.

"We will inform everyone you are awake but to let you rest." I smiled at her. "Before you meditate though, you should use your mystic waters to tend to your wounds since although both us and the locals did our best to tend to your wounds, it would be better to have them healed."

I nodded before they left, and I took a breath as I summoned my spiderpack to me, taking out my mystic Ganji waters and got to work on healing my wounds. Once I was fully healed, I brought out some incense and set it up so it was standing before I lit it and began to meditate so I could sort out my mind which was all over the place now with memories I don't even think were mine. I took a breath, closed my eyes as I crossed my legs and slowly descended into the realm which was my mind so I could hopefully figure things out.

8 hours later

I took a breath as I slowly opened my eyes and stood up while stretching out a bit since after sitting still for so long my body was left a little stiff. It was all worth it as I now know not only what the blacksmiths had created but also why they along with all the other spirits had gone into my body before they all passed onto the next life. The blacksmiths had used the core of the lava creature to form a new weapon for me to use in future battles while the jewel was what Fereydoon had used to create that place where we fought which they turned into something new which I could use. What either of these items would do though is not something I knew as the blacksmiths knew it was something, I'd need to learn myself since they knew how I'd done it with my other weapons and equipment. As for the jewel, I now know that it served as the magic item that was used to pull me and Ferydoon into that small other realm which also doubled as his home where he kept his ill-gotten gains along with the beasts and prisoners he kept. The blacksmiths used shards from the core to enhance the power of the jewel and make it more compatible for what they had altered it for but what that was is not something I knew yet.

As for why the spirits of Fereydoons victims slammed into me, they were giving me a gift in the form of all their knowledge of what they specialized in and other pieces of information to help me in my future adventures. This knowledge included farming techniques, plant types, recipes for dishes, blacksmithing techniques, designs for inventions, the location of various shipwrecks that supposedly held treasures, different battle strategies, training methods and so much more. The champions who I freed went a step further as they felt that they needed to do one last thing to help protect the world and not only left me their knowledge but skills in their specialties as well and when combined with my current skills, I knew opponents like Fereydoon were no longer going to be a problem.

Caius left me all his leadership skills which included how best to command an army, the ability to see the weaknesses in enemy tactics and various strategies. Isamu left me his ninja knowledge such as moves and techniques that were far superior to a lot of my present skills as they also included how best to use ninja weaponry in ways I never would have thought of. Botan left me his samurai skills which included various sword techniques and training methods which would enhance my sword skills and speed by a great deal. Sir Adam left me the knowledge and skill to rally people, calm down others and some of his own impressive training methods but the one I was most grateful for was the knowledge of how to calm a woman down since I'd need to use it on my wives at times. Hooved Spirit left me his knowledge of horses like how to best ride and care for them along with how best to fight from the back of the horse which is something I could also use when fighting on the back of a dragon. Finally, Evander left me his skills as a wrestler which I knew would come in handy in future brawls as they'd allow me to easily subdue my opponents whether they be man or beast.

I sighed and began walking out of my hut knowing that with this new knowledge, I was going to be very, very busy when I got home using this new knowledge to help New Berk grow as a village, enhance the defenses to turn the island into a fortress, hunt down multiple criminals with my new combat skills, loot a lot more ship wrecks and train my kids and the warriors of Berk. For now, though, I needed to let my family know what's happened and check out the items that the blacksmiths left for me since I was curious to know what the new blade looked like and its capabilities. I also wanted to know what the jewel could do since all that I had on it was a message from the blacksmiths telling me to pick it up in my prosthetic arms hand before releasing my ship and not much else. I figured it might be a new addition for my ship, but I couldn't understand how or what it would do to my ship, but for now I wanted to just catch everyone up on what happened with me and Fereydoon.

Nightfall

It's been a few hours since I came out of my meditative state and since then, I have not had a moments peace as everyone was eager to know who Fereydoon was, what he wanted and to show them how the battle went. As for the items I was left by the souls, the first item was a unique sword that I recognized as a taupou blade that was black in color but had intricate orange engravings that took the shape of an exploding volcano at the end. The blade was like a club in shape with a big end with one edge sticking out while the other end curved back like a shark fin to hook enemy weapons with the lower part having three sharp spines coming out with them growing longer from the hilt. The hilt though was made of rope that was wrapped around the end with it looping around the bottom, so I'd be able to wrap it around my wrist. (AN: Image on Pinterest page) As for the jewel, I'd brought my ship out and as soon as it took full size in the ocean, the jewel flew out of my hand and up to my ship before landing on the deck. I didn't get the chance to see where it landed before my entire ship seemed to catch fire that consumed it while we all watched until it seemed to pull in on itself to form one large ball of fire which just floated there above the water. It had been like that for the past few hours, but I could see something was happening to my ship within the ball of flame even though I had no idea what it was.

Now I was standing on the beach, staring at the ball of flame wondering what it was becoming and took a breath knowing I needed to let it go and just let it do whatever it was doing without anyone interfering. Fortunately, I knew nobody was stupid enough to mess with it after the warning I gave them about how interfering with it may lead to their death and possibly result in an explosion that could kill a lot of people in the tribe. I shook my head and took a breath before making my way back to my hut where my family was waiting for me so I could get some sleep since tomorrow, I wanted to test out my new blade and skills.

3 days later

It's been three days since my fight with Fereydoon and that time has mostly been spent mastering my new weapon and trying out a lot of my new skills both of which has resulted in a lot of trouble in different ways. My taupou blade literally dripped with lava that made the blade so hot, some people couldn't get near me while I was holding hit and furthermore if I stabbed it into the ground, the lava would seep through the ground like roots and leak lava from them. This would make it impossible for anyone to get near me without being burned by the lava and if I focused, I could control which direction the cracks went and even make a small volcano that reached my waist in height and as wide as my father's stomach. As soon as the blade leaves the earth though, the lava hardens and becomes normal lava rock, so I didn't have to worry about the volcanos getting out of control. I'd been practicing, duel wielding it with my starsword and learnt that when I stab them both into the ground their powers mix with the arms created by my starsword are then infused with lava that leaks out whenever they strike and could form large balls of lava to throw at my enemies. I knew that I'd probably be duel wielding these two blades a lot in future battles since when used together, they were a lethal and powerful combination.

Along with that I'd been trying out some of my new skills that were given to me by my predecessors such as the moves Isamu taught me which would make infiltration missions a lot easier and if I needed to fight in a cramped space, I liked my odds. Botans swordsmanship was nothing to laugh at since the speed and techniques he'd use to fight would leave enemies lying dead on the ground before they even realized what had happened. All Hooved spirits knowledge could not be used right now since there were no horses to ride but I was able to practice my bow and arrow techniques from the back of Toothless as we flew at high speeds and did different maneuvers. The last skills I've been able to try out are the wrestling skills I was given by Evander which I've been able to practice with in sparring matches against the tribe's warriors using only my new wrestling skills and not even one of them has beaten me. I'd also been doing the various training methods and having the kids go through these training methods as well but not for long as we lacked the proper equipment, and my wives wanted them to relax and enjoy their vacation.

As for my ship, after four days as a ball of fire it finally took on its new form and I was not the least bit disappointed in its new form, defenses, weapons, rooms, alterations done to the old rooms or all the stuff that once belonged to Fereydoun which were now mine. The ships new outer design had gone through a whole lot of changes to the point that it looked like a completely new ship had taken its place like after my battle with Edward. The main body of my ship which used to be one hundred and sixty feet in length and width to describe how long it used to be but now it has increased by another seven hundred feet couldn't imagine how much bigger the interior is on the inside but the outside of it is what astounded me the most of my golden Fury for it still had its golden Night Fury figurehead but now it has increased three times its size with a huge Red Diamond gemstone that's glows like it was filled with volcanic magma with Enchanted carvings traveling all over it in the center of its chest as its wings were carved in pure gold tasting the sides of the ships face while looking down to the bottom of the ship front was a huge blade ice splitter which looked to be able to cut through ice even thicker than ever before I can just imagine this blade cutting through a huge Glacier if possible but looking past the front of my ship couldn't help but be amazed the height of the ship now docked on the side of the island was like eighty feet tall.

Its shape was once that of an oval and close to having rectangular sides on the deck but now it has reshaping from being an oval shape of rectangular sides to that of a huge rectangular ship at the end splits into that of a diamond ends on both sides but coming off of the sides of the deck where huge orbs that were filled with circling lava and beneath them at the bottom of the ships hull were large crystal spikes that were also filled with lava. Sticking out to the sides of the orbs though were short paths for me to walk out on to circle shaped platforms at the end that also had smaller lava filled spikes beneath them. I also noticed the bottom hull had the same whitish silver steel which I noticed was layering the sides of the ship from beneath the new platforms which hang off the ship holding these orbs but also coating the sides of the ship beneath the golden wings of the fury. The hull had changed from a sky blue in color to that of a brownish red with the white silver Steel plates then now layers the sides of the ship and to my amazement there was even a patio like deck beneath the main deck of the ship which makes me feel like they're could be possibilities of placing ballista's on the side of the ships or even enjoying the view of the sea while sailing with the ship.

The deck rails guard on the sides of it with four lanterns set up on the sides so people could see in the dark. Has now disappeared to that of a small wall that goes up passed my waist The extension at the end which used to be twenty feet long and fifteen feet wide has changed to that of forty-five feet long and thirty feet wide also noticing that from the deck there seems to be levels of stairways leading whoever is in the front to go down while those in the back travels up to where the helm is. This also led to a giant scale pattern within the center of the front deck which I assumed was an extra defense of some kind, but it also glowed the same color as the orbs, making me curious what possibly could be beneath that section of the ship. Much to my amazement though, there was one thing that came out of the of them all when they split open and pushed out a large golden Simurgh that had a staircase built into the back, starting at the tail and leading up to the large head. In the head, I found the original set up for where I put the statues of the Egyptian gods Bastet and Horus, so the spot was meant to allow me to use them in battle. The difference is, instead of needing to use my full ship to line up the shot, the simurgh head could turn with the setup, allowing me to choose which way the power was shot.

At the backside of the deck which now has increased in height thanks to the new levels of the ship the building was no longer fifteen feet long but maybe even close to that of twenty-five or thirty feet long now but with new stairway leading up to it is then I noticed where the sails were to my astonishment they were huge and now there were at least eight of them two large triangular sales on each side of the ships but from the top of the roof lies two large poles each holding the rest of the sails three on each of them right above where the room which holds the helm which controls the whole shift now they were literally reflecting the lights of the volcanic red color similar to that of the orbs on the size of the ship with golden trim edges as the final six of the sails more like shaped into halves of a circle on each on the back one was bigger than the other I then notice beneath the water they were like two rectangular Triangle Sales beneath the ship in the water which I assume are sort of specialty wind sails that would work to help rotate the ship while in flight mode which makes me wonder what other designs the ship has beneath the water. As for their length the triangular shape sails with that if twenty feet I'm going down to that of five feet while the sixth above the roof for the first one in front of the largest one was like thirty feet from the center one and twenty-five feet on the two smaller ones on its side while behind it was fifty feet in height and forty-five feet in height for the last two on its side. After exploring the deck more I noticed that the symbol of which allows me to control the winds was now even bigger than it usually was in the center of the entire ships deck, but I still had to be standing on it to control the wind. (AN: New form on Pinterest page.)

As for the old rooms, each one of them had gone through numerous changes starting with the map room which was also where it used to be at the top floor. The crystal map was still in the middle of the room but now it had doubled in size while the walls now had shelves made of pure black lava stone that was smooth as glass with individual square shelves that had small glass doors keeping them in. At the front of the room was a wall of windows that looked out onto the deck, so I'd be able to keep an eye on everything that was happening on the deck. Furthermore, each of the windows could be used as large spy glasses and allow me to take closer looks at things right up to the summits so I'd have an easier time spotting enemy ships. They could also be darkened to different shades with the darkest being completely black so I couldn't even see out of them which would be good for when I wanted some peace to decide on the next route the ship would take. As for lighting the edges of the ceiling were lined with glass pipes that were filled with flowing lava and like the windows, the glass could darken allowing a lower glow which I was fine with since it was comfortable. The back of the room was a long hall like shape with the walls holding multiple shelves that had the captured ships lining them, but most of the shelves were empty for now. Facing these shelves were windows looking out onto the deck so no matter where I was upstairs, I'd have a view of what was happening on the deck.

The floor below it served strictly for relaxation with a large oval shaped balcony coming around and in front of the room, looking out onto the deck with a curved staircase leading down to the deck on either side while the room beneath the room where my maps and captured ships where a lounge was. Lining the edges of the ceiling were glass pipes flowing with lava which provided the light for the entire room which could be dimmed when needed. The walls were lined with cushioned seats and various large pillows scattered around the floor with a couple of small tables with chairs that were clearly meant for board games to be played on and have some snacks as well. The way I saw it, it was just a place to relax out of the sun so you could have a nice place to rest while enjoying some peace and quiet. At the back was a large doorway with a large fire bowl that had a Simurgh wrapping its wings around it while facing the doorway on either side of it. Inside the room was the platform in the middle and the walls were made to look like a Simurgh with the body at the back, the tail on the floor and the wings on the wall while the head was on the roof.

Beneath this room which was the same level as the deck was a large room which I knew was meant to be the dining room as there was a large and long table in the middle of it. There were multiple chairs with silver plates, knives, forks and spoons in front of them and two large halves of a ball of glass filled with lava hanging above it to provide the light. Lining the walls were pedestals made of pure black marble with vases made of the same marble resting on them, but I liked the way they looked against the lava red walls. Along with this there was a similar doorway at the back which led to where the platform was but instead of Simurgh birds, nightfuries wrapped around the fire bowls on either side of the doorway with a nightfury in the room where the platform was.

The floor beneath the first level of deck that could only be entered through the door between the stairs to the upper deck turned out to be the only way down to the floor below the other decks. What I found there was a large empty room with nothing other than a smooth wooden floor that had a large night fury symbol in the middle of it with the walls in the middle being large windows looking out on things. Like the other rooms, lining the edges of the ceiling glass pipes flowing with lava to provide the light which filled the room, but it could also be made to fade along with the windows, leaving the room in complete darkness. As for the walls that weren't windows, they had hooks imbedded in them which held various types of weapons for training, and I had to say that the variety of weapons within it was impressive to say the least as there were weapons from every culture I knew of and some I hadn't seen before. I knew these weapons were strictly for training though since each being dulled so none could cause any serious harm other than a bruise to the ones that they were used on. This confirmed my suspicion that this room was meant for training since it had the weapons, and it had the room to practice in along with the ability to turn pitch black so me and my family could practice fighting blind. In addition to this, the floor could open and throw targets up to practice long range weaponry like with a bow or throwing knives when needed. It didn't end there though, I learnt that the windows could open as ballistae rise from the floor before targets are launched into the air to shoot so it was suitable for defense and ballistae training and platforms could push the ballistae out and rotate so they could get better angles for firing.

Then there are the lower floors beneath it which held the rooms of the ship and although I had expected a few new rooms for my ship after the transformation, there were rooms I was not expecting. On the first floor below the deck there was a large space with a large indent in the floor that had cushioned benches lining it and in the center of it is a large pillar made of smoothed black lava rock with multiple shelves built into it that were clearly designed to hold barrels and amphoras since the lower ones were large and wide while the higher ones were a little closer together and not as wide. Circling around it was a ring-shaped bar table with black goblets beneath the table facing the pillar. I knew I'd need to bring in my own alcohol when I got home but for now, I'd be happy to just leave it as it is while planning out what to do with it all. This bar could be lowered into the ground pillar and all leaving only a nightfury symbol flowing with lava behind glass, so I'd be able to bring that out when I needed it and leave it when we needed some room. Along with this the floor could raise up to create tables and stools for the tables so we'd be able to play games or sit across from each other to discuss things. It was easy to tell that this was a place for everyone to hang out during the travels and just discuss things like our plans for attacks or hang out while playing games and having a few drinks.

Besides that, on this floor there were also the bedrooms which is where the doors against the walls lead to with a total of five doors on each side so far with each room having two beds against the back which could be pulled together to make one large bed. Above the beds was a long window with it being two feet wide and six feet long so that whoever looked out would have a great view of the outside. Next to the doors were desks with a candle on the corner and a chair tucked in beneath it so whoever wanted could sit down at it and do what they wanted like writing or reading. As for the beds, they were covered in red sheets that felt as if they were made from pure silk but softer than alpaca fur with pillows that felt as if they were stuffed with clouds as did the bedding since it was so soft. Next to the beds on either the right or left depending on which side was facing the wall and on them was a jug of water and a goblet to go with it, both made of pure silver. Between the bed and the door though, there was fifteen feet of empty space so the one staying in the room would be free to practice whatever it was they were doing with so much space. Against the left wall was also two large doors leading into what is a wardrobe with a rack for armor and shelves for normal clothing while on the opposite wall was a basin of water with a towel hung up next to it. All in all, whoever slept in these rooms would be most comfortable for the time the trips took to get wherever it was that we were going.

Following the guest bedrooms were the three rooms at the back with them being the master bedroom, the bathroom and the room that I'm guessing was meant to be my private study. The doors to these three rooms were each built into a statue that was built into the wall at the back, which was bent and curved, so it was shaped like half a circle. The statue which held the door leading to the bedroom had a large golden simurgh bird statue with its wings held out wide with its head above the door and the talons on either side as if guarding it and in its beak was a ball full of golden lava which lit up the door. On the left of it was the bathroom which had a statue of an aqua blue scauldron built into it with the door in the middle of its stomach and the head on top looking down at those who entered through the door and in its mouth was a ball of blue lava that lit up its door. Finally, the door leading to the private study was a nightfury with its wings spread, the door in its body, and a ball of purple lava in its mouth.

Now for the description of the master bedroom, at the back of the room which had a nightfury and Simurgh statue the size of the door on either side. As for the bedroom itself, it was amazing as at the back was the bed resting against the back wall with the wall being a large window which the ships figurehead could cover as if it were curtains. The bedframe itself was pure gold, shaped like a ship and at the end on either side was a simurgh and a nightfury statue on either side with their wings spread wide out which could then close on the bed forming a dome for privacy. The bed itself was a large round one with more than enough room for me and my wives with sky blue sheets and white pillows which felt so warm and soft I nearly fell asleep right there and then when I lay on it. As for the rest of the room, it was large to say the least. There was a three-step stairway leading up the platform the bed was sat on and twenty feet between it and the door so plenty of room with a door leading into a large cupboard against the right wall. This cupboard was ten feet deep and seven feet wide with wracks for armor at the back and shelves lining the right side while hooks for jewels and other thing lined the left with a full body mirror at the back between the armor racks. The walls of the bedroom were painted with a mural of the ocean just as the sun begins to set, creating a truly beautiful thing to see and above it all is a giant glass ball of flowing lava lighting the whole room up.

The bathroom had also gone through some major changes such as the pipes of flowing lava lining the ceiling of the hall that lead to the bath area with the floors still being made of white marble and the walls being mirrors. At the end of the hall was the room which held the fifteen-foot-wide round tub that had a tidal class dragon in the center of the white marble with blue lava flowing behind the glass. The bath had four steps leading up to it and three steps into it, so it was like a pool and on either end were statues of Persian female dancers holding pots which poured the water into the tub. Outside of the tub was a large area with a circular table with a five-foot pillar coming out of the center nightfury made of flowing magma on top and in the middle of the floor and on the table were folded up towels along with mirrors built into the pillar. Against the left wall was a full stone shelves with baskets that were meant to hold dirty clothes and bath robes. On the opposite side of the room were knee length stools with a long basin that went from wall to wall in front of them that was full of water and had bowls resting on the edge so it was easy to tell it was like a Japanese bath so people could wash their hair.

Then for the final room on this floor is the private study which after investigating, I knew would be a perfect place for me to sit down and just plan out my next moves when I'm travelling or planning attacks on enemy bases. When I first walk in there were three steps going down into the room with a red carpet built into the floor and leading to the back where another raised section was. In the center of the room was a big circular table with a small ball of magma built into the center with spinning magma within it providing light along with the pipes of lava, lining the ceiling edges. Against the right side of the room were shelves lining the wall, but I had the feeling they weren't for books since the shelves were too far apart for that. In the center of it was a large opening that was sticking out to form a small table with a model of the ship that would allow illusions of the people on it to be shown while the outer shell could become see through so I could see what was happening inside. On the opposite wall was a weapons rack hung up on the wall, a table pressed against the wall with a small stand for armor to be placed on the left side while on the right was a long bookshelf. At the back of the room on the elevated section was a desk that was made from wood that was almost red in color and tucked in beneath them on either side were chairs with the one facing away from the room was a simple chair with a high back while the one facing the room was more defined with arm rests and cushions on the seat and back.

Then there was the floor of the lower deck which I knew was meant to be where I'd do a lot of work since it was used for storage of various things I loot from enemy ships, keep prisoners, livestock, and more. At first it looked like a large empty room with white marble floors and a large black nightfury made of lava stone in the center of the floor with a giant disc in the center of the ceiling, holding flowing lava that lit the room. Around against the walls were various doors with each being built differently and leading to different rooms that each had their own uses.

First room I discovered down here was the kitchen which was a lot bigger than my old one with counters lining the walls breaking only when they reached the back where two doors stood with one being made of wood and the other polished metal and at an opening where a cauldron sat over a firepit with a free stove next to it and lining the ceiling edges were lava pipes to provide light. Built into the counters were various cupboards holding plates, chopping boards, bowls and more all for the food to be laid out or prepared on before being sent up. In the center of the room was an island with a rack hanging from the ceiling holding various pots and pans meant for cooking various dishes. There was also a rack against the wall with various knives and other blades meant for cutting various types of foods such as meat and vegetables. Along with this at the two doors with each holding a ten-foot-long and wide room with the one behind the metal door holding metal shelves lining the walls and being cold as ice inside so the room was obviously meant for meat storage. The other was the same except it wasn't cold and the shelves were made of wood, so it was obviously made to act as the ships pantry to hold regular food. Once the food is prepared, it can be sent up to the dining room by placing it in an opening in the wall between the two doors and it would disappear in a flash before reappearing in the dining room, on the table. What was most surprising though was how both the food stores had been fully stocked with food that wasn't only on my ship before the transformation but food that wasn't there including a few fully skinned boars, plucked birds, spices I'd never heard of and more. I figure that it was the food Fereydoon had stored up for his journeys and it had transferred to my ship's new food stores during the transformation, and I knew that the food might not be the only thing that got transferred.

Checking some of the other rooms, I was proven right when the first room I visited was the forge which doubled as an armory which was filled with weapons and armor from various cultures. Lining the walls on the left side were weapon racks with hooks on the wall to hand more weapons, both the rack and the walls covered in various weapons and on the right side were the armor racks holding various pieces of armor and in some cases, full suits. There were so many types that I didn't even think I could identify each kind since there were also so many different cultures that the armor came from. Right at the back though was where I was most surprised as that was where the forge was, and the forge was made of pure lava stone with the statue of a simurgh with its wings spread out and its head facing up resting on top of it. In front of it was a forging anvil made of black iron while on either side of the forge against the wall were nightfury statues, standing up with their wings folded in. When their wings unfold though, the one on the right reveals various molds, hung up on its wings and on its body while the one on the left reveals various forging tools. In order to have the night furies open their wings, I just had to light the forge, and not only would their wings open up but so would the floor around the anvil which would then push out crates, holding various materials I could use for forging.

Then there was the hold where all the cells for captives were, and I had to say it had gone through a massive enlargement and quite a few changes besides the door being made of iron with a lock that only my stone of good fortune could unlock and how the entire room was now completely made of polished lava rock. The three walls not counting the one with the door, since the door was the only thing on that wall, had four levels of cells now with each wall holding twenty cells, coming up to a total of sixty cells with each being able to hold four people so I would be able to hold two hundred and forty prisoners and no chance of escape. The reason there's no chance is there is a small narrow path to a platform with a night fury made of flowing lava behind glass embedded in it, in the center of the room with a large ball of flowing lava imbedded in the ceiling above it. Besides the path and platform, that's the only solid ground since around them was a deep, dark pit so even if the prisoners broke out of their cells they'd fall into the darkness, fortunately not to their death but be forced back into their cells through the back wall of said cell. The only way out is for me to stand on the platform and focus, making a path to the cells rise from darkness and only then would the bars of the cell be pulled into the floor and ceiling. I could also use this to make a catwalk, lining the cells so I'd be able to do a walk by the cells and check out all the prisoners within them. As for the cells themselves, the beds were wooden with chains holding the corners, connecting them to the walls with one bed being over the other on either the left or right wall and at the back was a wooden table for four. All in all, it was going to be very helpful since I'd be able to do more bounty hunting jobs without needing to worry about running out of space to keep my captives, so I'd be able to be gone for longer periods of time.

I then got a big shock when I checked out the storeroom and found it to be filled with crates holding various things like materials, clothes, seeds, farming equipment, books, paintings, statues and so much more. It was easy to tell all these items were what Fereydoon had stolen from his victims over the years and when I saw it, I felt a headache form since when I get home, I'd have to sort them all out and it was going to take hours. The room itself was made of polished lava stone and the entire room was huge and by that, I mean it was bigger than the ship with six different levels that were made like shelves lining the walls and going all the way round with solid bridges to help get across, but I knew it was the work of that gem Fereydoon used to make that other world we fought in. To get up to them there were platforms made from polished lava stone that rise to the floors and larger ones that were meant to be used to send the crates and other large cargo down to the other levels. On each floor the edges of the ceilings and bridges were lined with pipes with flowing lava to light up the areas and help people find their way around. At the back of the room was another door like the one leading to the hold with a door that could only be opened by my prosthetic and when I opened it, I saw why. This room was the treasure storage made of white marble and was identical to the other storage hold except this one held various treasures such as gold, silver, bronze, jewels, jade and so much more. When I saw all this stuff, all I could say was I was going to need to enlarge not only my treasury but my gallery as well since the treasury and storage room both had so much stuff that I was going to be busy for weeks. It did help when I learnt that the walls on the first level could open and form a ramp so I could send the crates through for sorting when it came time to unload but it was still going to be a lot of work. The thing that caught my eye the most though was the sword sitting on a black marble pedestal since it was Fereydoon's, but I knew with its master gone, it was powerless, so it'd make a good trophy from this trip.

The next room I explored was the storeroom for animas and what I saw shocked me since there were two floors and the first floor looked like a farm with the right side being meant for yaks, cows, horses, alpacas and other such livestock while the one on the left was meant for sheep, goat and other smaller livestock while the back of the room was made for birds like chickens and ducks with a second floor made for more wild animals. The two sides for the livestock had four separate pens areas with the fences being made of metal and the backs were lined with one long water trough and in the middle was a trapdoor that opens to allow a platform to send up hay and other food for the animals to eat. The section at the back had three large pens that had hay covering the entirety of the floors with a water trough lining the back but they were only as tall as half my foot in height so the birds could get to the water and in the center was a trapdoor that opens to allow a platform to bring up their feed. Lining the ceilings edges was a foot thick pipe with flowing lava within it which provided the light for the whole room and could be dimmed when needed. The walls behind the pens for livestock though could also be lowered down to create ramps to the outside that would allow the animals to be led out and to wherever I wanted them to be taken.

In the center of the room was a platform that takes me to the second floor which was filled with cages built into the left and right walls with the floors being covered in hay and had bowls of water against the back wall of each one. These pens were fifteen feet wide going both ways to make squares in shape and furthermore had trapdoors like the ones downstairs to bring up the food for the animals within. At the back of the room was a large cage for birds with square bars, a bowl of water on the floor, branches sticking out from walls to create perches and like the other cages, had trapdoors to bring up the food. On the wall that was on the far side opposite to the bird cage was a wall of smaller cages, clearly meant for smaller animals like small snakes, frogs and other small animals with glass doors instead of metal bars and small water bowls in the corners while the trapdoors to give food were on the back walls of the cages. In the center of the ceilings was a long five-foot-long and three-foot wide glass rectangle with lava flowing through it to provide the light to the room for both me and the animals. The biggest shock about this room though is that the pens were all occupied by sheep, goats, boars, chickens, ducks, yaks and even some camels and horses which I knew must have been kept locked away in that other realm. After a quick check up, I saw there was nothing wrong with any of them so I intended to add the livestock to my own while the camels would be released into my desert, the horses into the Great Planes and the boars into either Adals forest or the forests of New Berk.

The next room came as quite a shock to me since it was full of rows of large square planters made of white marble like the floor with each reaching just below my waist in height, square shaped with fifteen feet width and all filled with soil. Each row had fifteen planters going either way with six feet wide paths between each one so once again the room was bigger than my ship and hanging on the walls were crystals that shone what looked to be sunlight while lining the planters facing the dirt were small open pipes with water flowing through them. In the center floor was a night fury symbol made of black marble, embedded into the white marble while the roof was twenty-five-feet heigh so all in all it was a very big room. As for what it was for, obviously it was meant to act as a place for me to store and grow plants from distant lands so I could either grow extra food or safely transport plants from the lands I go to without risking them dying during the long journey.

Following this was the bottom floor which had only two rooms, neither of which were disappointments since I knew they would be helpful in the future. When I first arrived on that floor, I was greeted by a short hall that led to a room made of polished wood that had a glass ball, full of spiraling lava imbedded in the ceiling and a triangle shaped back with one door on each wall. The first room I went to, on the right held the automatons I kept on my ship for naval battles like my 'stinging stingrays' and 'loot sharks'. This room had one wooden path going down the center a long pool of water on either side of it leading out into the ocean with each pool being thirty-five feet long and ten feet wide. As for my automatons, each of them was floating in the water, awaiting my orders to go out and attack while their bodies shined in the light of the flowing lava within the pipes that lined not only the edges of the ceiling but the edges of the pools.

The last room was the dragon's den which was the same size as the storage rooms but without so many levels, just large shelves sticking out of the walls at random spots where dragons could roost and make their nests and all of it made of pure stone. A giant pool that went from wall to wall at the back and was twenty feet wide while also leading out into the ocean took up most of the space at the back with a few platforms within the water. Across the middle parts of the floor were various trapdoors that would lift up to deliver the dragons their food whether it be fish, rocks or plants while pressed against the walls were large stone slabs for dragons to nest on. As for how the dragons could be released, the tidal classes could exit through the pool and the back wall could open and lead to the outside so the dragons could easily fly out. Above the part that opens though was a large perch that was connected to a large cave that was built into the back of the wall with both made of pure lava stone. In this cave were various stone slabs, boulders, a large firepit in the middle, a large freshwater pond against the back wall that was built into the side of a large boulder that overlooked the room and on the wall behind it was a nightfury made of glass with flowing lava behind it. This cave was obviously meant to be the nest meant for Toothless and his mates so he could rest in peace and be able to overlook the dragons' lair for any trouble.

Then there's the ships defenses and they were impressive to say the least and would make it pretty much impossible for any ships to escape me since these defenses were perfect for close combat and long-range attacks. First off, there were the ballistae in the training room but instead of firing regular ballistae arrows, they fire ones made of pure polished lava stone with heads holding enough lava to fill a hut. This lava was also hot enough to eat through the hulls of ship in seconds but the second the hull is eaten through it disappears leaving only charred edges of wood as a reminder. As for how they could be controlled, I could control them through my will or manually by those who are down in the training room since it would serve as good practice for when manning ballistae on dry land. At the back, large slots could open and roll out giant barrel shaped projectiles that come in red and light orange with each having their own form of power. Both float in the water but the difference between them besides color is when the red ones are hit by ships, they explode with enough force to take a large chunk out of a ship while the light orange ones spread out lava around the ship and quickly turn to stone, stopping them. Along with this the parts of wall beneath the windows of the training room can open up and reveal the large metal pipe like things that launches balls of metal like the weapons before, but these ones are hot as lava and fly at twice the speed, causing even more damage.

The defenses on the top deck weren't anything to laugh at either as they were just as powerful as the weapons below deck which would make life a lot easier. For starters, the end of the two platforms that are sticking out of the side could twist up to face the front or back of the ship before launching the lava filled crystals beneath them which would soon hit the water and speed towards their target, destroying from beneath using the lava within them. Then there's the two large domes made of lava which turned out to be hollow and will sing into their edged to reveal large catapults made from wood and lava rock. The catapults heads would fall back through a small trapdoor behind them and return with flaming boulders that would then be launched at enemy ships. Along with this, the giant lava filled crystals that are beneath the domes could be dropped from above when in the sky and the second they hit the water, they shatter and release a pool of lava to sink the ship and if they hit near the ship, the lava covers the surface of the water, surrounding the ship before it solidifies and anchors the ship to that spot, making them easy targets.

At the front of the ship the wings of the head can lift slightly to reveal a giant metal iron head on either side of the heads body which are launched, carrying large chains at the back. When they strike their targets, they quickly pull them in and when they're close enough the bottom of the ship splits open to shine a bright light and pull them in with the cargo of the ship going into storage, the crew going into the cells and the ship in a bottle. I knew this after testing on one of the ships the Hawaiians gave me just to run some tests on my ships abilities when it concerns capturing ships. All in all, I was more than happy with my ships new form since it was no doubt going to be using it often for bounty hunting missions, dragon collecting, travelling to new places and more. Besides mastering my new skills that were given to me by the falling champions, my ships new form and using my taupou blade, I've been enjoying my vacation as I was meant to, and it was during my time relaxing in the jungle that I received a big surprise. I was in a clearing just doing some morning training when a wooden tiki walked out holding a black chest surprising me but before I could attack or fight it, the tiki placed the chest on the ground and then sat down opening up its body. I didn't let my guard down as I approached them but when I checked the chest, I was shocked when I found a message on the top but what shocked me about it was that it was written in Persian and read.

Hiccup

We have recently heard about your victory against our fallen champion Fereydoon, bringing an end to his reign of terror and freeing the souls of not only the champions he defeated but all the innocent people and noble warriors he faced. For this we shall never be able to thankyou enough and although those souls have given you thanks in the form of a new weapon and enhancement to your ships power and abilities, we wished to give you a gift to apologies for our mistake concerning our once champion. Although we wished to give you this gift to you in person, we did not wish to invade the lands of other gods so instead we asked them to deliver our gift to you. Within the chest you shall find our gift to you and within the tiki you shall find the gift from the gods of Hawaii who wished to thank you for defending their people and their lands from the fallen champion, may both gifts serve you well in the future.

Sincerely

The Gods of Persia

After reading this, I opened the chest and found a small, palm sized pot decorated with plant paintings all over it and after discovering what it could do, I was not disappointed in its abilities though it took me a bit of time to figure out how to use it. Turns out it was like the jar I use to steal the voices of my enemies bur this one was meant to be used to hold plants instead of voices. All I had to do was hold it out and focus on a plant which would then turn to a small, brown seed pod that had the image of the plant on it which would then float into my pot where it would remain. When I wanted the plant out, I just had to go to some soil and focus on which pod I wanted before it would float out and imbed itself into the ground. Once inside the plant would sprout out as it was before nearly instantly, and it would be as if the plant was just replanted somewhere else. I knew this would be helpful when I was gathering plant samples from new lands for study and would also help when it comes to my ships new room where I could grow plants.

As for the gift I found in the tiki, I simply found three balls connected by a small rope with each faintly glowing blue and although it looked to truly be from the gods, I picked them up using my prosthetic to be safe. As soon as I picked them up though, my prosthetic pulled them in and began to burn with pain, making me drop to my knees while clenching my teeth to keep myself from screaming. It stopped a few seconds later and I knew my prosthetic had gained some new abilities that would be helpful in the future when I want to capture my foes instead of killing them. The reason for this is the new abilities my prosthetic had gained is to launch three balls tucked together that then spread out while connected by rope, all glowing light blue and what's more they could be connected into my prosthetic by a rope in the middle of the one holding the balls together and my wrist. I can then reel people back in since when the bolas hit the rope extends and wraps around the entire body, pinning the limbs to it before I drag the victims back to me. I could launch a single ball that opens to reveal a large round net with ten weights on the edges that could pin down a gronkle as if it were nothing and when I want to bring the targets back, the weights come together, trapping them before the rope connecting the net to my prosthetic pulls them in. I could also launch the nets and bola separately from my prosthetic so without the rope so I could just leave my victims tied up on the ground using my bolas and if I used my net the weights would pin them down to the ground. The bolas and nets don't last forever though, just six hours before they fade out of existence, but it was more than enough time for me to lock my targets up.

Now though, I was just enjoying my vacation by using Wave Chomper to surf a bit while enjoying the feeling of the water in my hair and on my bare skin while the sun shines down on me. I did keep an eye on the beach though where most of my family was enjoying time on the beach with the little ones playing in the sand under the watch of their mothers, Egil was laying under the shade of a tree and Chara was practicing her acrobatics using the trees while Brant was joining me in surfing using his own board while the dragons are flying around. I had to admit, it was nice to take it easy for a few days knowing I was going to be busy when I got home to New Berk, helping my dad who'll most likely want me to get to work on enhancing the defenses around New Berk. The reason for this is even though it already had so many defenses that made it like a fortress, he was still nervous about losing it which I count as mental scars from losing Berk. I couldn't blame him for being nervous though since as he's always telling me, a chief first duty is to their people which means it's a chief's job to ensure the safety of the people and with our knowledge of the dragons, we were a target for a lot of people.

I shook my head as I swam towards a wave and began wondering what my dad was going to have me do this time when we get home or what he'd have me design to help the people. I took a breath as I reached the wave and began riding it knowing that my family was only going to be on vacation for three more days before we head back to New Berk. I sighed knowing I couldn't avoid it since they were my people and my responsibility was to protect them and make life easier for all of them but at the same time, I was a champion of the gods and had a duty to protect the world and its people. That was where the main problem lies when it comes to me being chief since as a chief, I'd have to spend most of my time on Berk when I normally travel the world for weeks at a time. Sure, I was able to return to Berk near instantly using my ship or portal doors but that was only in places I've been to and earned the blessings of the gods, but there were still places I'd never been to before and gods I'd never met. Still, I at least knew when I was needed on Berk thanks to my automatons but there's no telling what I'd be up to at the time since I could be dealing with bandits or monsters. I shook my head as the water of the wave came down on me and knew it best, I just enjoy the peace of my vacation while I still can since when it's over, I was going to be busy.

2 days later

It's been eight hours since we left Hawaii and returned to Berk and since then I had not had a moments rest for multiple reasons, and it wasn't just because of my people though they did play a part in it. The second we went to the village; some of the people asked us how our trip was and when I told them despite the fight with the fallen champion, things were mostly peaceful. This set everyone off and before I knew it, me and my family were dragged into the Great Hall where we were sat down, and I was made to use my illusion spider to show everyone what happened. Following that was the standard question and answer session with people asking what happened to my ship, who Fereydoon was, who the spirits were and why they slammed into me, what my new taupou blade could do and more. Following this my dad sat me down and questioned me on all the different things I now knew and if there was any way they could help New Berk and when I revealed multiple new methods of farming, building, training and more he begun making plans. If that wasn't bad enough, Gobber was also there and joined in since he was curious to know all about the various forms of knowledge for new forging techniques I'd gained. The only reason the two of them stopped after an hour of questioning me, was because Blanca got my mom who was able to get the two of them to let me leave and unload my ship from my latest trip.

As soon as I was able to get out of the Great Hall, I was cut off by multiple people welcoming me back, asking me questions and more before I was able to get back to my island which is where the real work began in the form of unloading my ship. I had to call in a lot of my snake guardians, the wolf walkers and multiple dragons to help and even then, it took us three hours, but it was all worth it. The weapons were now in the armory, the food was in the stores, the treasures were in the treasury, the books were moved to the library, the art pieces were in the gallery, the materials were in the stores, etc. Still, the items were just sitting in the rooms for now until I could sort them out later since there was so much but the one item, I did not leave laying around was the blade of Fereydoon which was now in the trophy room on a pedestal. As for the animals, I let the horses loose in the Great Planes, the camels in the desert, half the boars into the wolves' forest while the rest went into new Berks Forest and the rest of the livestock were now with my own in their pens, but I'd need to expand them.

Once all that was done, I spent three hours sorting through the stuff and controlling my automatons to have them help me sort the items and figure out where they were meant to go and making plans for the knowledge I now had. The only reason I stopped was because it was time for dinner and my wives were threatening to drag me out if I didn't come out when they called. After that they told me to take some time to rest and enjoy a little down time after a hard day's work, so they had me tuck in the little ones before going to my private study for a little quiet time. I spent that time enjoying a little reading with a goblet of mead as I began planning out my day for tomorrow since I knew it was going to be a lot of work sorting out the items and sorting out what knowledge I could use on my island and new Berk. Now though, I was making my way to bed where my wives were waiting for me and the second my head hit the pillow, I was out, and I knew I had to enjoy the sleep as tomorrow I was going to need to get an early start.

AN: Yeah, I know it's not that exciting and is mostly a description of the new ship but it's all I got right now since Hawaii is not exactly a place filled with adventure ideas. Anyway, despite the lack of excitement you did enjoy the chapter and will review kindly since I did work hard on figuring out what to give the ships new form and my pal Red dragon gave me the outsides physical appearance. I hope I can make the next chapter a little more exciting for you all so please keep reading, review kindly and have a nice day.
