TK left the A/V room to look for Sayaka. She looked terrified when she stormed out of the room earlier and TK was worried. He checked the rooms closest to the A/V room first assuming that she didn't get far after running off. She wasn't in any of them so TK asked some of the others if they saw her but they didn't see her either.

Finally, TK checked the classrooms and there found Sayaka. She looked just as bad as she did back in the A/V room, her skin ghostly pale, lifeless eyes, and she was still shaking like crazy. She was in the corner hugging herself staring absently at the floor looking like she was upset, or maybe angry. No, she didn't have an expression at all, there was nothing on her face anyone could call emotion.

It was as if her original mask was stripped away.

"Are you, okay?" TK asked. He assumed she didn't hear him enter because she jumped when she heard his voice but calmed down when she saw it was him.

"Yeah… I'm fine," she said before her expression changed into fear and panic. "Actually, no… how could I possibly be fine? What did we do to end up like this…? Why are they doing such terrible things to us…?"

"I want out! Let me out of here right now!" Sayaka shouted and made a move for the door. TK quickly grabbed her shoulders before she ran out and did something she'll regret.

"Sayaka! Calm down!" TK told her and she started to flail around in his grasp. Without thinking, TK quickly hugged her from behind to calm her down. "I understand how you feel right now. When I think about what might have happened to my friends…"

TK's mind flashed back to the fallout at the end of his video. His living room was destroyed and no sign of his friends anywhere, it terrified him. TK breathed slowly as he felt Sayaka calm down a little. "But we need to stay calm! This is what they want. They want us to lose our composure and play their sick game."

"Those are fake, they have to be!" TK told her, and maybe himself as well. No matter how much he tried, the image of his destroyed living room keeps flooding back into his mind. "If those things did happen there would've been an uproar. Our families, friends, the police, everyone! Right?"

Sayaka didn't say anything, digesting everything TK told her.

"So let's calm down, okay? Otherwise, we've already lost. As long as we work together, we will find some way out of here," TK said determinedly. "And maybe help might even come before we know it."

"But… what if there isn't a way out? What if help never comes?" Sayaka asked softly, her voice slightly breaking.

"Then I'll get you and everyone else out of here! I swear," TK told her. Suddenly, Sayaka turned around and buried her face in his chest. He could feel a part of his shirt getting wet letting him know that she was crying.

"Sayaka?" TK asked, surprised by the pop star's action.

"Please… help me…" she said through her tears, voice breaking as she spoke. "Why…? Why is this happening to me? To kill, or be killed… I just can't take this anymore…!"

"Sayaka…" TK said softly. He slowly rubbed her back to calm her down, letting her cry into his shirt. After a few minutes, she finally raised her head and looked at him, wiping away a few stray tears.

"Can I… can I believe what you said?" She asked meekly. "That you'll help me get out? No matter what it takes…?"

"Yes!" TK said with no hesitation.

"TK… You're the only one I can trust. So please, no matter what happens, please always be there for me. I need you on my side…" Sayaka begged, confusing the blond a little.

"Of course, I'll be there for you! I'll always be on your side. You're my friend," TK said and smiled at her.

"Thank you, TK. Hearing you say that, I feel like I can keep going. I can get through this… as long as you're here with me," Sayaka then smiled, a small one but it was good to see her smile after everything that happened, even though it felt a little forced. "Because you're my friend, and I'm also your assistant."

Monokuma appeared out of nowhere, startling the two.

"It's standing up! Takeru! It's standing up!" Monokuma said suddenly, sweating profusely while red in the face.

"What's standing up!?" TK asked, a little confused by how the bear was acting. He had a hard time believing it was anything serious, and if it was, why would Monokuma care so much? He wants them to kill each other.

"Do you even have to ask?" Monokuma started to chuckle as he pointed at the blond. "Your flagpole!"

"Get out of here!" TK yelled at the stuffed bear who was chuckling even harder.

"No! No! I wanna join in!" Monokuma jokingly argued, frustrating TK.

"Then tell us about those videos if you won't leave!" TK yelled. Monokuma started to sway as sweat rolled down his head.

"Ahh… it's about to come out… It's gonna come out! My pristine, pure white…" Monokuma was moving around like he was about to burst. "Stuffing! My honest, innocent stuffing is about to come gushing out!"

TK balled his fist like he was about to take a swing at Monokuma, but he didn't move. He kept thinking about what almost happened to Mondo, which kept him firmly planted in place—realizing that he wasn't going to get the reaction that he wanted Monokuma sighed.

"You're no fun," Monokuma said dejectedly before smirking. "But at least I was the second person in the room to get a rise out of you!"

TK yelled as Monokuma left, chuckling to himself along the way.

"What the heck was that just now…?" Sayaka finally spoke up after the altercation. TK took a few deep breaths to calm down.

"Ignore him, he just wanted to mess with us," TK replied after calming down.

"Well, for now… you wanna just head back?" Sayaka suggested and TK nodded at the idea.

"Sure, let's go," TK said and the two walked back to the dorm rooms. It didn't take long for them to get to the dorms, and even though she looked better than she did earlier, Sayaka still looked pretty shaken.

"You should go and get some rest. It'll help you feel better," TK told her and she nodded her head.

"I'm sorry for making you worry about me. You're right. I'm going to lay down for a bit," Sayaka said sadly before going into her room.

TK went ahead and told everyone that Sayaka was fine before heading to the gym to clear his head. Helping Sayaka calm down helped get his mind off the video, but now it's all he can think about. They have to be ok, their Digimon partners were with them so there's no way they would be in any danger. But on the off chance, they're not then he needs to get out of here to see for himself.

TK slapped himself to get the thought out of his head. Even though it was in the back of his head, he knew a part of him was thinking about killing someone.

"They're fine! They're fine! They're fine!" TK said to himself. He decided to do some suicides to clear his head, to make him tired so he would be too exhausted to think about anything but sleep. He was too caught up in his exercise that he didn't hear anyone come in.

"Mind if I join you?"

TK looked up and saw that it was Hina who asked the question. He didn't respond but he did signal that it was fine if she joined him. She took the signal, got into a running position, and started doing suicides of her own. Even though he preferred to be alone, TK appreciated her company.

After a few minutes, TK switched from doing suicides to push-ups. He was exhausted but he kept going to clear his mind, which was working. He saw that Hina was finishing up her suicides and she started walking over to him. She was watching him, which was getting on his nerves but he didn't do anything about it.

"Anything I can help you with?" TK said after a few minutes. He didn't stop doing push-ups, he wanted to keep his mind clear.

"Are you feeling ok?" Hina asked and TK rolled his eyes.

"I'm fine. I just wanted to workout that's all," TK answered, not caring about her question. Of course he's fine, why wouldn't he be? His friends are all safe and are trying to find a way to get him and the others out of this hell.

"You just seemed spooked after you saw your video and…" TK collapsed to the floor. Hina tried to help him up but he brushed her off and started to do crunches.

"I'm fine. Those videos were fake anyway, to get us riled up and do Monokuma's bidding!" TK said quickly, repeating what he told Sayaka earlier.

"It's okay to talk about it…"

"There's nothing to talk about!" TK snapped, stopping his workout. "The videos were fake so why are you so worried about it!?"

"My brother was in my video!" Hina screamed at him. "I'm worried about him but I can't let my emotions get the better of me. I'm worried that you're letting your emotions get the better of you. So, please… talk to me."

TK was silent, mulling over what Hina said. He wasn't the only one that received a video. They were all worried about their loved ones. Sayaka even had a panic attack with how freaked out she was.

"Sorry, I'm worried about my friends. I've known them for pretty much my whole life and after everything we've been through they're like family to me," TK apologized, and Hina put a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"We're all worried, but we can't bottle up our emotions," Hina told him and TK smiled.

"You're right."

"Do you still wanna workout together?" Hina asked. TK was going to take up her offer but he felt his exhaustion wash over him. He excused himself, saying that they'll workout at another time, and went back to his dorm room for a nap.

It's almost Nighttime and TK came back to his room from the dining hall. After his talk with Hina, he started to feel better, though he was still worried about his friends. But there was a bigger problem he had to worry about and it wasn't being trapped in the school, the video tapes, or even Monokuma. No, the biggest problem he had to worry about were the others.

After his talk with Hina, he knew that he couldn't kill any of the others, not that he was planning to, but that doesn't mean that they all share the same beliefs as him. After they all saw their videos some of them were already accusing each other of thinking about murdering someone. They need to start trusting each other if they're all going to get out of here. TK shook his head, he can't think like that he needs to trust in the others and that everything will turn out alright.

He was getting ready for bed when his doorbell rang. He opened the door to find a shaken-up Sayaka.

"Sayaka!?" TK exclaimed and Sayaka rushed into his room. Confused, TK looked out into the hallway to find no one. He closed the door behind him and walked over to Sayaka, who was on his bed hugging herself.

"Are you ok?" TK asked and she managed to stop shaking for a few seconds.

"Sorry to bother, but… something really weird just happened," Sayaka said.

"What happened?"

"Just a little while ago, I was laying down in my room, and all of a sudden, my door started rattling and shaking," Sayaka explained, her voice sounding like all oxygen was squeezed out of her lungs. "It was like someone was trying to force the door open. My door was locked, so they couldn't get in, of course. But they started shaking the door harder and harder. I was so scared I couldn't even move."

"What happened next!?" TK asked after swallowing the lump in his throat.

"After a while, it just… stopped. I let some time go by, then I got up and opened the door to check outside, but there was nobody there," Sayaka said and TK wanted to sigh in relief but the look on Sayaka's face prevented him from doing so.

"Someone tried to force their way into your room? But who would do that?" TK said in disbelief. Even after their reactions to their videos, TK had a hard time believing any one of them would actually attempt to kill someone.

"It's not like I'm suspicious of anyone here, but still… It makes me nervous. What if something like that happened in the middle of the night? What would I do then…?" Sayaka said.

"We can't go out during nighttime so you don't have to worry about something like that happening," TK said and Sayaka shook her head.

"But that's just a promise we made, right? If someone decided to break that promise…" Sayaka said and it didn't take long for TK to understand what she was trying to say.

"Would it make you feel better if you stayed in my room tonight?" TK offered.

"What!?" Sayaka exclaimed, shocked by his offer.

"The school regulation says that we had to sleep in the dorm rooms. It didn't specify that we have to sleep in our own dorm rooms," TK explained and Sayaka felt her cheeks burn up.

"B-But… two people sharing one room is… you know…" Sayaka stammered and TK slightly understood what she was talking about. Even though he shared a room with his female friends all the time, he knew that some people aren't as comfortable with the idea.

"Don't worry, you can have the bed and go sleep in the corner," TK offered and Sayaka's whole face was red.

"S-Sorry, i-it's not that I hate the idea… But I would feel m-more comfortable if we maybe s-switched rooms. Just for tonight!" Sayaka quickly said.

"Sure, if it'll help you put your mind at ease," TK said, not seeing a problem with switching the rooms.

"Thank you, TK."

The school bell rang and Monokuma's nighttime announcement played.

"Oh man, it's already nighttime…" Sayaka said disappointedly.

"Then I'll go head to your room then," TK said and then paused at his door when a thought crossed his mind. 'If we're switching rooms then we should switch keys as well.'

"Ah, that's right. We'll have to trade keys," Sayaka said and TK didn't jump because he was used to Sayaka reading him.

"Again," TK sighed, slightly annoyed by Sayaka's intuition.

"Like I said, I'm psychic," she giggled. A few seconds passed and Sayaka didn't say anything.

"Aren't you going to say you have really good intuition?" TK asked.

"What if it wasn't intuition…?" Sayaka said seriously before giggling. TK smiled, glad to see that his friend was acting normal again. They traded keys and Sayaka held onto his hand and gave him a worried look. "TK… please be careful. If someone comes to the door, don't open it no matter what."

"I won't," TK promised. "The same goes for you as well. Don't open the door for anyone."

"Even if I'm sure it's you, I absolutely won't open it. Otherwise, what's the point of even switching?" Sayaka stated and TK agreed with her logic.

TK moved to leave when he remembered another thing to tell Sayaka.

"Just so you know, my bathroom door tends to get stuck. If you want the door you have to turn the knob, then lift up on the door while you pull it out," he instructed.

"Okay, but the showers don't work during nighttime anyway, right?" Sayaka reminded him and he blushed.

"Oh, right," TK awkwardly chuckled.

"But I guess I might use it when I get up in the morning. So thank you."

For the third time that night, TK moved for the door knowing that he didn't need to tell Sayaka anything else. "See you tomorrow, Sayaka."

"Oh, and about what I said before," Sayaka stopped him in his tracks. "When I said I was psychic, it really was a joke. Honestly, I'm just very perceptive."

"I know."

"Good night, then. See you in the morning," Sayaka told him and TK left his room for Sayaka's.

When he entered her room he was underwhelmed. It looked exactly like his room, minus the posters, with the only thing different, was that the pillow, blanket, and trashcan were pink. He walked to the bed when something shined in his eye. It was coming from the trash can.

"Good job making yourself look like a pervert, TK. Trade rooms with an Idol and the first thing you do is dig through her trash," he said to himself. When he peeked into the trash can he saw the video Sayaka got from the A/V room. He never did ask her what was on it but he decided that he'll just leave it be.

Feeling tired, TK went to sleep.

TK walked into the dining hall after waking up, keeping his promise of having breakfast with the others in the morning. Taka, Chihiro, Hina, and Sakura were already there eating their breakfast.

"Hello Takeru, and good morning! Can you believe it? I was the very first one here this morning!" Taka said pridefully.

"Good morning," Chihiro giggled.

"Mornin'!" Hina greeted, full of energy as ever.

"I suppose I'm early," Sakura smirked, sounding a little proud of herself.

TK greeted them all and grabbed his food. As he was eating, more students arrived, some had excuses as to why they were late, while the rest didn't want to explain their tardiness. Everyone was in the dining hall except for two people.

"Wait, aren't we still missing some people?" Taka said out loud, making everyone notice some people were missing.

"Yeah, Sayaka and Byakuya aren't here yet," Hina shrugged.

From the short time that TK knew Byakuya, he didn't expect the heir to show up on time or show up at all. Sayaka on the other hand. He thought she would be one of the few people to show up early.

"What's going on? Did something happen?" Byakuya said, making his presence known to everyone in the room.

"Hey man! Have you seen Sayaka?" Mondo asked the heir.

"Why would I have? I just came from my room to here," Byakuya said and TK felt his heart sink.

"Did she forget about our breakfast promise…?" Hifumi questioned.

"I got the sense she always has her stuff together…" Kyoko said.

TK didn't feel too good. He was extremely worried about his friend and he knew something happened to her. He got up from his seat and stormed out of the room, not caring he caused a scene. He raced to his room and when he opened the door he felt his heart stop.

His room was a mess. Scratches on the walls, floor, and even on his bed. The table was turned over, and the katana and sheath were on the floor, along with his room key.

"What the hell?"

He went further into his room and noticed his bathroom door was open. He checked to see if Sayaka was hiding in there, hoping she was alright. When he did look inside screamed. Laying on the floor was Sayaka's bloody corpse, a knife protruding out of her stomach.

TK didn't hear the others burst into his room, but he did hear their cries. He heard a few curse words, some were screaming, and someone was crying. He couldn't blame them, he also wanted to scream, curse, and cry but what he wanted to do more was hurt the person responsible for this.

*Ding dong, ding dong*

The bell rang and the monitor in the room turned on.

"A body has been discovered! Everyone, please go to the gymnasium where you'll be informed on what to do next!"

The monitor turned off and everyone was stunned.

"Is that bear fuckin' serious!? Like hell, I'm listening to em'!" Mondo screamed and a majority of people agreed with him. TK wanted to go out and destroy everything in the school but Kyoko stopped them.

"Wait! We need to listen to him."

She received a couple of weird looks.

"Are you insane!? You actually want to listen to that bear!?" Leon exclaimed and Kyoko shook her head.

"No, but we're at his mercy. You saw what happened to Mondo on the first day. We don't want to do anything to upset Monokuma so it's best that we do as he says for now," Kyoko said. Everyone was still tense but they agreed with what she said.

Soon everyone started to file out of the room, only TK stayed behind. He felt Kyoko put her hand on his shoulder and she leaned into his ear.

"I promise we'll find out who did this but right now don't do anything that'll get yourself killed."

TK sighed and nodded, even though he's upset he won't do anything good if he's dead. He followed Kyoko out of his room and walked to the gym.
