Okay, I admit, the last part of chapter 6 seemed a bit…lame to me but…I had to get Kira to go to the destruction god tournament. Why? Well…You'll find out. (Man I love saying that heh, heh). Oh yeah…Did you figure out who her drawing teacher is? Well…You're gonna find out here! Also, be warned, for as I write this story, chapter titles will change. I am horrible at chapter titles thus when I finish a chapter I might think "Nah…That chapter title doesn't fit anymore".

Chapter 7: Stop

Capsule Corporations was certainly lively that day when Kira strolled in behind Chi-Chi and Goten. Chi-chi had warned her all throughout the car ride that this would be quite the adventure for her.

"If you feel uncomfortable, Kira-Chan, you just let me know." Chi-chi smiled. "Do you have all of your supplies?" When Chi-chi found out Kira had a homework assignment involving battle, she was ecstatic, claiming she was so proud that Kira was going to do homework while away. She even made sure to pack everything Kira needed for her assignment, though all that was truly needed was her pen and paper.

"Uh…Yeah…" Kira huffed. When she had first been told to draw a battle scene she thought it was rather stupid. Her drawing teacher always came up with weird assignments. Just last week she had the class draw a city, making sure everyone included a bar somewhere in the picture, and her in said bar drinking. "Matsumoto-sensei said that since I live with fighters, I could use them for inspiration." She sighed. "She's always wanting me to draw without models…Gohan said this was going to get…wild so I hope she thinks this all came from my imagination."

"Well you certainly are gonna get an eye full!" Bulma approached, grinned. "You're definitely going to get a good grade on this one, Kira-Chan!" She looked around. "Where are those two idiots anyway? It's almost time to go!"

"Hey! Sorry we're late!" Goku and Vegeta appeared though rather ragged. The two had been in constant training mode since the tournament reveal.

"EW Kami you two stink!" Bulma quickly held her nose. "Go take a shower!" She waved the two away. "I swear!"

"I do hope those two hurry or we will be late." Whis approached. "They certainly are quite the interesting lot, these Sayajins."

"Yeah that's saying a lot." Bulma sighed. "Oh, Whis…You haven't been formally introduced." She looked at Kira. "Kira-chan, this is Whis…he's an angel!"

"A pleasure." Whis gave a slight bow.

"….Hi…." Kira said then winced. "Sorry…My eyes…" She rubbed them.

"Ah…I see…" A tap of the staff and Whis presented her with some sort of odd glasses. "Try these on, they might help a bit." Kira inspected the glasses before putting them on. "Better?"

"Huh?" Bulma became seriously confused.

"It is rather obvious that Kira-chan here can see Ki…and is rather inexperienced in such things. The glow of an angel is probably hurting her poor eyes and the glow of a kami is probably much worse; she would be miserable if she were to go where we are going since two gods of destruction and two angels will be present thus the glasses will prevent such for now."

"Thanks…" Kira said.

"Not a problem. Go on now and please enjoy the tournament." Whis smiled.

Whis made Kira nervous but she didn't say such. Instead she traveled towards the big gigantic blue cube everyone was gathering around. Close by was the purple guy in odd, Egyptian-esque clothing she had seen before but briefly. Nobody seemed to want to get near him.

"That's Beerus-sama." She jumped at the harsh voice. Standing beside her was Piccolo. "He's a god…Just stay away from him."

Kira truly did NOT care for the towering green male. Remembering their last encounter made her shake.

"Gohan told me everything." Piccolo grunted, ignoring her discomfort. "So…This thing is like a protector…And you are gifted with spiritual abilities…" She blinked at him. "Is the black thing here?"

She looked around and sure enough, the black being was nearby, standing to the side of the blue cube.

"Yeah…" She frowned. "You know…I…Really don't think…It wants me to go…"

Piccolo raised an eyebrow at her. "How do you figure?"

"It's…Shaking its head and it's moving…I guess arms?" She squinted her eyes.

"Hmmm…" Piccolo pondered this. "Stay near me…At least until we get to the tournament site. Gohan told me to keep an eye on you." She looked up at him. "Believe me, it was rather weird to be yelled at by my own former student." He grunted. "Gohan certainly is Chi-chi's son."

Gohan…Yelled at him? Whoa…

The ride to the tournament site had, for the first time, kept Kira away from her drawing. It was amazing to see stars flash by like that! Her eyes feasted on everything the cube allowed her to see.

"This…is cool…" She breathed out to no one in particular.

"This will be nothing compared to what you will witness." Piccolo was, again, at her side. "Is the thing here?"

She nodded her head. "Yeah…And…It looks…nervous…" She frowned to her right. Ever since she stepped into the blue cube, the black shadow had stayed at her hip, not moving once from her form. She squinted her eyes and briefly noticed it was holding something at its hip…Her eyes widened

"It's wearing a sword." She breathed out loud and Piccolo stared at her. "A…Katana…At its hip…It's…gripping the hilt really hard."

She could see it plain as day, hands and a sword…a hand holding a black sheath and another gripping onto the hilt in a vise-like grip.

"So…It's a person…" Piccolo looked over at Kira in the empty space there. He could feel tension but believed it to be due to the upcoming battles to come but he knew some of that tension was coming from the being following Kira. "Can you make anything else out?"

Frowning Kira shook her head. "No…" She gripped her head. "My head…Kinda hurts…"

"I see…" Piccolo folded his arms. "You're not trained yet, which means you most likely had to use quite a bit of your little to nothing ki to even see a blade and hands. Even then, that's impressive to be sure."

"But…It's a spirit…Right?" She asked him. "I should be able to see it clearly…"

Piccolo paused. "This thing…Is definitely NOT a spirit." He frowned. "Spirits are usually white or gray in color…They are never black."

"And how would you know that?" She asked him suspiciously.

"I just know." Piccolo told her. "No use in dwelling on it anyway…If you happen to see more, let me know immediately or just draw it to remember."

She gave him a light glare. "I thought…You didn't really like me…You know…"

Piccolo just stared her down. "I don't like anyone, including former students who yell at their teachers. As Gohan has told me, you are a child…And if I didn't treat you differently than I usually did, he would ban me from seeing Pan ever again."

Kira blinked. "Pan?" Gohan's baby daughter? THAT was how to get Piccolo to be… 'nice'? Wow…

The tournament was set on a desolate planet with the super dragonballs floating in the sky. It was Goten that explained to Kira what dragonballs were, though these were much bigger than Kira had been told.

"You okay Kira?" Bulma asked the girl who just nodded sumbly.

"Y…Yeah…" This was nothing compared to simple spirits. It was hard to take any of this in.

"Just wait until they get going." Bulma winked at her. "You're in for quite a lot of surprises."

"Now, Kira-chan…" Chi-chi was at Kira's side in a minute. "If you feel like you can't take anything you just let me know! We can't have you fainting or anything okay?"

"Uh…right…" Was all Kira could say.

The matches were grand to say the least. The fighters from both universes gave it their all in the friendly competition. Kira captured what she could of the fighting, too engrossed in her drawings to notice anything else. Matsumoto-sensei certainly would think this came from her imagination.

"Wow…Kira-Chan…" Looking over her shoulder was Bulma. "Schooling really is improving your abilities, huh?"

Blinking Kira looked at her page. The fighters looked as though they were going to jump off the page. The squiggly lines were now bursts of light surrounding the fighters on the page. There was a lot of energy there. Kira just shrugged, turning the page for a new page.

"Stop…." She nearly jumped at the voice…And the blackness that was practically covering her drawing hand. "Stop."

Where Bulma had been the black shadow was there, practically touching Kira's nose. The voice was hazy, grainy as well. It was hard to tell if it was deep or soft, but the word was evident.

"You…Want me…To stop drawing?" She asked the shadow.

"Kira-Chan? I didn't say that…" Kira looked over the shadow's shoulder and saw Bulma confused.

"Um…" Did Gohan tell her about the shadow?

"Stop." The shadow said again.

Kira returned her gaze to the shadow. She glared at it.

"I'll stop…When you tell me who the hell you are." Where did this bit of courage come from? Gohan told her the shadow most likely was a protector.

"Kira-Chan?" Bulma's voice felt light years away. Kira didn't care if everyone was staring at her weird.

"I'm tired of you…" Kira told the shadow. "You don't get to tell me what to do…When you won't even tell me what or who you are." She smacked the shadow's hand away. "Leave me alone."

There were shouts and gasps as Kira's notebook and pencil went flying out of her hands, into the arena below.

"Kira-Chan!?" Chi-Chi immediately went to her. "What happened!? Are you alright!?" In panic mode she screamed, "Goku! Kira-chan's hurt!"

"I'm fine…Really…" Kira started but Chi-chi wasn't having it. She gripped onto Kira's hand.

"GOKU! GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE NOW!" Chi-chi's voice screamed over the arena. "Something's wrong with Kira-Chan!"

"Oi, Oi…The heck…!?" Goku flew over, confused. Chi-chi gave him a most hateful death glare.

"Kira-Chan got hurt!" Chi-chi screamed at him.

"No I didn't." Kira huffed with a sigh. "I'm fine…See?" She gestured to her form and winced. "Um…Chi-chi…You are kinda hurting me though…" Chi-chi's grip was squeezing Kira's wrist to the point it was starting to hurt.

Goku nodded. "Yeah…She don't look hurt, Chi—"

"No! Don't!" Kira shouted before Chi-chi was practically ripped from her and the woman went flying. Goku caught his wife in mid air and Kira glared at the culprit that no one could see. "What the hell!?"

"Kira-Chan…" Goku set Chi-chi down and the woman backed away from Kira as did everyone else. "That black thing…"

Kira was ignoring him, glaring at the blackness before her. "What the HELL Is your problem!? Leave me alone! Leave everyone alone!"

"Goodness what is all of this commotion?" Whis came over.

"Don't you get it already!?" Kira yelled at the blackness before her. "I am TIRED of you being here! You almost KILLED one of my new family members! GO AWAY!"

The black shadow stared at her. "Stop…"

"I see…" Whis approached. "Kira-Chan…I think it would be best if you accompany us on the other side." He suggested. "Your protector will probably be more comfortable over there."

Bluma blinked. "Protector?" Something was protecting Kira?

She looked his way, shocked. "You…You can see it?"

"…The blackness? Of course I can. At first I was unsure of what it was, but now I have my assumptions." He shrugged. "It is quite an enigma but it is obvious this being will hurt anyone that comes near you which makes this most intriguing to be sure…Though I do not blame it for such things here." He surprised Kira by looking directly at the shadow. "You have my word Kira-Chan will be safe with myself. I am sure you can trust me, after all…You know exactly what I am, am I correct?"

"Go." The shadow nearly pushed Kira towards Whis.

"Wonderful!" Whis smiled.

Now Kira joined the Universe 7 fighters on their platform, tension in the air.

"What the heck happened over there, Kira-Chan?" Goku asked her.

"It…wanted me to stop drawing." She said.

"What the hell is going on?" Vegeta glared.

"Oh…Vegeta…Some black thing is following Kira-Chan." Goku said. "And it looks like it's way over protective of her."

Kira looked at Whis. "What…Is it?"

Whis paused. "I am not too sure myself, really. However, whatever it is…It appears to be stuck to you…And will do whatever necessary to see to your safety." He sighed.

"Oi! Get on with the tournament!" Beerus barked out, bored instantly.

"Hai, Beerus-sama." Whis nodded then smiled at Kira. "These things can be dealt with later. Your protector entrusted me, thus…I should do my duty, ne?" A tap of his staff and her discarded notebook and pencil appeared in his lap. "Why don't I hold onto this for now. I promise I will return it later."

Not really knowing how to respond, Kira took a seat next to Whis, the fights continuing. When the tournament concluded, a small being appeared, one that seemed to make Beerus-sama very nervous. Whis told her to remain on the platform as he journeyed with Beerus-sama to meet the small being. While they were gone, Kira's notebook sat beside her…At least for a few seconds before Piccolo picked it up.

Swatting Chi-chi away fit the pattern of protector but practically forbidding Kira to draw was suspicious. Piccolo gazed at the drawings, taking notice only on the most recent ones. There wasn't anything special, just more drawings but of the previous fights in the arena. He came to the final drawing and frowned. Again, he saw nothing special about it though it was quite amazing to be sure. Kira had captured the fighting below with exquisite detail. Why did the shadow want Kira to stop drawing?

Kira's grandfather had her burn her drawings…Gohan's words entered Piccolo's mind. Burning…

He placed his hand on the drawing, closed his eyes…and concentrated.

The notebook dropped to his feet, hardly anyone caring about it anyway.

"Um…Are you alright?" He heard Kira's worried voice but it was becoming harder and harder to hear anything but his beating heart.

Son of a…Piccolo gapped, shaking. He stared down at the notebook in deep shock, his assumptions correct. There were several ways to dispel ki, the biggest being fighting…but…for those no fighters…creating a fire of it…tended to do the trick.

Now he understood why Kira was so focused on drawing…Why she was forced to burn said drawings…

She was dispelling her ki…and there was a LOT of it and it was like nothing Piccolo had never felt before. It felt dangerous…and…Almost…Deadly? It was a black swirl of power…Yes…That was the best way he could explain it. A blackness that was neither evil nor good…Neutral…A deadly word for Ki…For Ki was NEVER neutral.

Everyone was journeying back to the blue cube, ready to return home. Piccolo remained behind, Kira's notebook in his hand.

"Um…" The girl was standing beside him.

Piccolo just gave the girl a sideways glance. Then, right in front of her, proceeded to destroy the notebook with his own ki. Kira's eyes widened and she began to shout but he just glared at her, silencing the teen in the process.

"When we return…We need to talk…Immediately."

Kira looked at him for a moment, sighed. "Fine…"

Even with the notebook destroyed, it took Piccolo a while to overcome the sense of danger he felt from the Ki entrenched in those destroyed pages. The ride home he was completely silent. Everyone seemed to almost forget the little 'incident' with Kira, smiling and whatnot. Piccolo, however, kept his concentration on the teenage girl getting the Goten and Trunks treatment. Vegeta was the only other one that didn't really care about anything but Piccolo noticed the Sayajin's gaze towards Kira every so often. At least he knew something odd was going on with the girl. Piccolo had a hunch, a big one that couldn't leave his senses.

Kira…was definitely NOT human.
