"Leo, are you sure that this is a good idea?" I ask as I watch my only baby brother scamper off with a herd of maroon-cladded ninjas on his tail after Raph waves him on. "He's still healing and shouldn't be doing so much." My mind races with all of the possible scenarios that my only little brother might run into on his own. I bite my lip.

Leo shakes his head but motions for us to follow him just as our own sea of maroon ninjas start chasing us. Raph snarls as he throws a few shuriken to take down three of the ninjas. My stomach twists as unease shoots through me. I hate leaving Mikey alone. I mean, he was literally kidnapped last night! He shouldn't have even left the lair today. What was I thinking? Allowing him to come? I should have forced him to stay at April's after eating. He'd been perfectly safe there.

"No, but there isn't much we can do right now. If Hun and the others want this pendant, we can't let them get it. Mikey's fast. He'll be fine," Leo states, but I catch the small twitch near his mouth telling me he's not as okay with this as he's saying. "If he doesn't catch up with us within 10 minutes, we'll double back and find him."

My lips purse as I take April's right and the four of us leap across the rooftops. I am secretly pleased that she can now at least keep up with us for short distances but with her slight concussion, her balance is wobbly, and I want to make sure that she doesn't misstep at all. My heart hammers in my chest as we make it another seven rooftops, but the maroon ex-Foot Ninjas are right on our tails. My skin prickles with what Mikey would call my 'Tiger Senses' and I slide to a stop, holding an arm out to signal April to stop as well.

Bebop and Rocksteady appear over the ledge. Rocksteady cracks his knuckles and Bebop rolls his shoulders.

"Well, look what we found here," Rocksteady states, widening his stance and hunching down. "Puny turtles and a little girl."

"Who ya callin' little, bub?" Raph snarls as the four of us draw our weapons. I twirl my bo staff, my eyes narrowing as maroon ninjas circle us.

"Buuuuut, if you just give us the pendant, we miiiiiight let you leave," Bebop says, cocking one hip out as his hair starts to glow purple.

April points her ninjato at the mutant boar.

"And who says that we have it?"

Bebop and Rocksteady exchange a glance before they both shrug, seemingly unbothered by April's announcement.

"Well~, if you four don't have it, then the small orange one does and Rahzar and Fishface can handle him," Bebop says, waving a hand around. The mutant boar leers at us causing me to grind my teeth. "I mean, he's quite small and always is the first to go down in a fight. Shouldn't be long before Rahzar has him pinned down."

Anger bubbles in me. My brothers and I know that Mikey can handle himself. That, out of the four of us, Mikey is probably the only one who can handle both Rahzar and Fishface himself. Leo as well, but with Mikey's speed and flexibility he's the less likely to get caught. But with his injuries and all those ninjas… I shake my head, clearing my thoughts. Tightening my grip, I wait for Leo's signal before moving.

"Mike is more den a match fer those two losers," Raph snaps, crouching low, a snarl on his face.

"We shall see," Rocksteady says. "But enough talk. Give us the pendant! Raaaaaaaah!"

The rhino mutant snarls and charges at us. The four of us jump out of the way and the maroon ninjas start to attack us.

"He~He~!" Bebop sings out and starts throwing his strange hair forces at us. Leo slashes two of them and ducks under the third one.

"Leo, we can't stay here," I urge, smack three ninjas away from me, my unease returning full force. My mind tries to supply me with images of what my little brother might be going through. I bite my lip as I look at my big brother. "Mikey's by himself and…"

Leo grunts as he rolls away from a raging rhino as Raph springs in and tackles Rocksteady. My big brother grimaces as he shoots me a look.

"I know, Don, I know. But we need to deal with these guys first. If not, we'll just lead them to him."

Irritation rolls in my stomach and I swing my bo staff out, taking down four more maroon ninjas. Well, if these ninjas are in the way of me reaching my injured little brother, then I'll take as many out as possible.

Backflipping, I land near Bebop as he skates around April. Swinging my bo out, my eyes roam as I plan out my attack before I smack his knees and send the other mutant sprawling to the roof.

"Ouch," Bebop sits up, rubbing his head. "Not cool, little dude. Someone could get hurt."

My eyes narrow as April charges forward, aiming a kick at the fallen boar. Bebop squeaks and springs out of her way.

"That's the point, jerk!" April snaps, switching from kicks back to slashing with her sword.

Part of me wants to keep her from fighting but I know that would just rise suspicion on her having the pendant. And she's more than capable on kicking Bebop's butt from here to Kingdom Come. Tearing my eyes away from the fight, I turn back toward my brothers. Raph is still engaged with Rocksteady, easily dancing around the larger mutant and I know that he's taking a page out of the book known as 'Mikey'. Chuckling, I turn toward Leo as he snarls and watch as he rushes three maroon ninjas. He easily disarms the ones on the left and right and sends the middle ninja flying with a swift kick to the gut. A dull THUD splits through the air as the ninja hits the roof. He doesn't get up again.

My neck prickles and I slide to the left just as a katana swings down and nearly slices me in half. I glare at the ninja, who is just standing there, obviously not expecting me to dodge his attack. Not wasting anytime, I swipe out and the wood of my staff collides with the ninja's back and he instantly crumbles. Continuing forward, I leap toward Leo, knocking away four ninjas as they try to sneak up behind my big brother.

"Stay away from my brothers," I snap, scattering them across the roof. Leo shoots me a grateful smile over his shoulder as he knocks his own opponents down to the roof.

"~Eee!~Heee!"

I just barely drop to the roof into the splits as two hair missiles smash into the cement behind me. I glare at Bebop as April continues to chase him around the roof. The mutant boar laughs, skating around twirling as he goes to kick Raph away as the hothead he lands from a flip. Raph grunts as he sails through the air, landing heavily. Leo and I growl, launching ourselves toward our brother before any of the ninjas can leap on him.

"Puny turtles," Rocksteady says, laughing, his Russian accent heavy. "Do you really believe that you can fight us and win?"

Raph snarls but before he can retort a loud, bone-chilling roar cuts him off. A very loud, very FAMILIAR roar. Panic wraps around me as I glance at my brothers and April.

"What was that?!" Bebop shouts in surprise as he whips his head from left to right.

"I know not, comrade. Whatever that was, it sounds big, Da?"

"No, it can't be—" Leo says, his voice trailing off as he straightens, glancing back at where we last saw Mikey. My heart hits my stomach as another roar rings out. A few of the maroon ninjas shrink back, weapons drawn as they glance around.

"We shouldn't have left him," I say, panicking as nausea rolls in my gut. "We need to go back. The U.P. is going to take him again!"

Raph snarls, shoving two ninjas away from him.

"Not on my fuckin' watch. We promised 'im we'd keep 'im safe and like damn a walkin' statue is gonna make meh break meh promise."

My fingers ache as I tighten my grip on my staff. I glance over at Leo, waiting for his signal. Bebop and Rocksteady stare at us, confusion on their faces. I roll my eyes. Not that it's a very hard thing to do. Those two never seem to know what's going on.

"You fools actually wanna head toward that scary roaring? Yeesh," Bebop winces, waving his hands in front of him. "You weirdos are very strange indeed."

Snorting, I eye the ninjas warily as they move closer to the two mutants. One of them taps Rocksteady on his arm before whispering into the rhino mutant's ear. His eyes widen and he places a hand on Bebop's shoulder.

"Comrade, I have gotten word from our ninja comrades that something more valuable than the pendant has been located." A sinister grin spreads across the large mutant's face. "A certain orange-banded TURTLE has revealed himself to be quite useful for us. Looks like Rahzar and Fishface are already dealing him as we speak."

Bebop laughs, rubbing his hands together as my mind races. What did that ninja just tell him? Do they know something?

"Is that so, my big friend? Well, then what are we waiting around here for? Might as well go help them out."

Ice spreads across my body as the two mutants turn and jump off the ledge of the roof with a small group of ninjas behind them. Raph releases an enraged cry.

"Come back here, ya cowards!" Raph shouts, rushing forward. He snarls when the remaining maroon ninjas block his path. "Get outta my way, fuckers. Nobody touches my baby brotha'."

The ninjas point their weapons at us.

"Your brother will be long gone before you can reach him, kame," one of the ninjas say, but with their masks its hard to tell which one it is. Leo probably could tell. "If Master Hun wants him, then Master Hun shall have him."

A snarl rips from me and I launch myself at the group of ninjas.

"Nobody will have him as long as we still breath!" I snap, whacking ninja after ninja with my staff. It doesn't take April, Leo, or Raph long in joining me and the four of us make quick work of the remain ninjas. The last five quickly fall back, leaping off the ledge and into the alleyway below. Raph moves to rush after them, but I grasp his shoulder.

"Forget them, Raph. Mikey needs us."

Anger rages in Raph's eyes as he turns to argue before snapping his mouth shut and he nods, a brief look of surprise flickers across his face as we make eye-contact. Leo sheaths his swords as he joins us. His eyes are clouded with emotion and his voice is hard as he speaks.

"Donnie's right, we need to head back. C'mon!"

My heart pounds as we race back across the rooftops. April's face is pale as we move but her eyes are shining in determination. She spares me a single glance as we soar from rooftop to rooftop.

"We'll make it in time, Don. Don't worry," she says softly, just loud enough for me to hear. My lips purse and I nod but I can't bring myself to respond.

I need to reach him. We already almost lost him once, we can't lose him again. We promised him. My eyes narrow as Mikey's phantom screams fill my mind, my jaw aching as I clench my teeth. I shake my head, clearing my mind, growling. We WILL reach you, Mikey. Just keep fighting until we reach you. Just hang on, Michelangelo.

Grunting, I flip gracefully alongside my brothers, April grumbling something about us being 'Show-Offs'. Normally, that would make me smile, but I just can't concentrate until I see that my baby brother is all right with my own eyes. My head snaps up when the sound of running reaches my ears. Leo calls for us to halt, motioning for us to become one with the shadows. My heartbeat is loud in my ears as we wait and part of me is afraid that the others can hear it as well. My shoulders tense when somebody lands near us. As they slide into view I nearly sag in relief. Mikey! The sounds of extra footsteps dispels my relief instantly. Glancing to my left, anger and fear shoots through me at the mass of maroon ninjas. My eyes widen as Mikey pulls out his left nunchaku, twirling it as he crouches low.

Leo holds his hand out and I quickly draw my bo.

"Okay, Fist Ninja-dudes, show me what ya—"

Leo signals for us to attack.

"HEEYA!" The four of us shout as we spring from the shadows. I easily make my way to a group of ninjas, barely pausing as I smack each one out of my way, growling.

Do these Neanderthals seriously think that they can take OUR baby brother and get away with it? We would fight TOOTH and NAIL to get him back. I growl as I twist and twirl out of reach of a few of the ninjas before springing forward, snarling as I refuse to back down. Nobody takes our Otōto from us! My eyes narrow as I swing at three maroon ninjas in front of me.

"Don! Head's up!"

"What?"

Smacking my opponents away, I spin around at the sound of my Otōto's voice. My eyes widen at the sight of another maroon ninja before an orange-gold light catches both of our attention. Air catches in my throat as the light engulfs my brother's nunchaku before also engulfing Mikey. A split second later, the orange-gold light moves in between me and Mikey suddenly appears in front of me. Wide sky-blue eyes stare up at me and Mikey's mouth falls open in surprise. My attention snaps back into focus as I sense movement.

The ninja!

"Mikey!" I cry out, only just able to catch the ninja's katana before the blade can embed itself into my orange-banded brother's head. The ninja presses down with more force. I growl. "Guys, a little help here! Mikey's about to gain a metal plate in his head!" Shell! When did these ninjas get so strong?

"Donnie?"

My heart clenches at my brother's uncertain tone but the warmth and life radiating from him is enough for me to remain calm. Glancing down, I offer him what I'm hope is a reassuring smile, even though it feels more like a grimace. I glance sideways, spying our big brothers as they make their way toward us.

"Don't worry, Mikey. Leo and Raph are one their way," I say quietly before adding. "Then we're gonna chat on just how you got over here so quickly."

Mikey offers me a sheepish smile but doesn't answer. Concern and uncertainty swirls in those usually carefree orbs. I glare at my opponent as we fight for dominance. I will NOT let you harm my little brother! A spark of relief shoots through me when I hear footsteps race across the roof top. Raph comes flying in, tackling the ninja to the roof, allowing me to fully relax.

"Don't touch my brothers!"

My shoulders relax as Leo materializes next Mikey and I, his hand warm as he places it on my shoulder. I can feel the anger radiating from our eldest brother as he smiles at us. Unable to resist, I wrap my arms tightly around Mikey, my panic melting away as I hold him in place as Leo glances around.

"Okay, that's the last of the rogue ninjas," Leo states as April appears and Raph brushes himself off, standing. "We need to get out of here."

"What about the BattleShell?" Mikey asks, leaning into my hug and pressing his cheek to my shoulder. I tighten my hold as Leo rubs Mike's head briefly then signals for us to start moving. April steps closer.

"I'll call Casey and see if he can tow it," she says, pulling her phone out.

Mikey suddenly pulls away, a small noise emitting from him as he rushes toward April. He catches April by the arm and moves in front of her.

"April! Do you still have the pendant? Please tell me that you still do," Mikey begs. April shoots us a concerned look before meeting Mikey's pleading gaze.

"Of course, I do. Why?"

My stomach flips and knots when Mikey bites his lip, shooting us a look then back to April.

"There's something I need to tell you dudes, but I think we should head home first."

I pinch the bridge of my snout, a massive headache coming on as I fight not to just start screaming at the universe.

Oh, Mikey. What have you gotten yourself into?

Remaining silent, I place my bo onto my back as Raph walks over to Mikey, catching the littlest turtle in a headlock for a second. Leo hisses at us to hurry up as Raph noogies Mikey's head. April exchanges a look with me, concern swirling in her green eyes, and I offer her a tired smile then race after my brothers.

Why do I feel that Sensei is gonna ground us for eternity when we get home?

Hello everyone! Thanks for reading this new chapter! I wanted to try having at least one chapter with the brothers, so here was Donnie's. I found that he's much harder to write then Leo for some reason, so I'm really hoping I did him justice and didn't make him OC. I'm hoping to do one with Raph, but I'm gonna need the right chapter for him XD, 'cuz I feel that he's gonna be the hardest out of all of the brothers.

Also, I wanted to thank everyone who's commented on this! I really appreciate them all! And I know that Fanfic is weird with being able to reply to comments, but just know that I do read them :D.

Thanks for reading!

Until next time!
