They took a moment to calm down and prepare for what was coming, given the slight smile on A.P.'s face, they didn't know if they should be weary or not.

CHAPTER FOUR -At Flourish and Blotts

Molly jumped—"What ghoul? How did he get there?"

explosions from Fred and George's bedroom were considered perfectly normal.

James laughed— "Well, that's interesting."

Lily shook her head— "Huge disadvantage on the Muggle-borns that we can't use magic outside of school"

"It's too risky, magical parents know how to control the outbursts of magic."

It was the fact that everybody there seemed to like him.

"Oh my Poor baby"—Lily sighed

Arthur turned to Ginny and smiled—"She does sound like an awkward mess doesn't she, I wonder what her personality will be?"

A.P. contained his smile, his mom had always been the wickedest person in his book, right next to his Uncle Bill and Uncle Charlie, there was very little the women couldn't do.

"So you do keep track of him"—Moody turned to Dumbledore—"did you feel him leave the wards, did Petunia contact you, Arthur…"

"Does it Matter, Alastor?"—

"Yes, given that if you felt him leave the wards you must have felt the elf"

This made Monty glare at Dumbledore.

Remus scowls—"Fantasy books, for all the classes?"

"How do you know they are fantasy books, maybe he's a historian"—Alice said

"No, I read his name in the fictional section."

"Lockhart's books are really expensive.

Arthur was crestfallen, his children were worried about the amount of expensive of the household, just like he had been. Molly sensed his discomfort and gave him a reassuring smile.

Ginny put her elbow in the butter dish.

The Marauders laughed and James was a little red, making Lily giggle.

"Well, isn't this a reminder of the Jell-O incident?"

"Shut up"—James told Sirius. – "I wasn't prepared, she came out of nowhere with that green jumper."

Lily smiled sweetly at him and leaned forward, she turned to A.P. who was looking at the scene with a smile, she winked at him, making him chuckle.

his Hogwarts prefect badge pinned to his sweater vest.

Arthur chortled— "Oh Percy, his brothers will only mock him"

Remus and Sirius shared a mocking smile and Marlene frowned at how much Percy reminded her of her older brother, she didn't think it would end well for the boy, at least the McKinnon had a privileged position, she wondered what Reality check Percy Weasley would suffer.

"Dear heavens, we still have Errol"—Molly said—"He is already old"

"I did wonder where Hermione went"—Sirius said— "Do you think she couldn't invite Harry to her house?"

"Maybe took advantage of spending time with her parents, we only see them three months every year"—Lily said

twelve O.W.L.s and he hardly gloated at all. we'll have another Head Boy in the family. I don't think I could stand the shame."

"Twelve!"—Molly took a hand to her heart—"Oh they are brilliant Arthur"

Sirius rolled his eyes—"Does anyone else see where this is going?"—he whispered to Marlene and Remus who nodded.

"That takes a lot of dedication."—Lily said—"I did ten, and it was hard as hell"—she turned to A.P.—"How many did you do?"

"Fifteen"—he laughed at their expression—"Hogwarts added much more to their curriculum, and I didn't take all of them during school."

"And here I was proud of my eight N.E.W.T.S"—James mocked himself. Minerva gave A.P. a pensive look, how many of those classes could she add now?

"Dunno how Mum and Dad are going to afford all our school stuff this year,"

Molly sighed—"I'm sure we manage"—she smiled but inside she was furious, how dare her uncle take her things. She would have to talk to her brothers and find a way to protect herself and her children in case of tragedy because she didn't like how much this concerned her children.

Remus sympathizes with the Weasleys, and knowing who his father was, Harry would want to help them, he turns to Jamie and Monty. They thought he didn't know about the subtle 25 galleons added to his account every two weeks.

"He's never travelled by Floo powder," said Ron suddenly.

"Oh hell this won't end well"

Sirius looked at Marlene—"Don't jinx it"

"They wouldn't mind," Harry reassured her.

Frank looked surprised—"Harry might not tell people directly what he is living, but he doesn't lie about it…the problem is nobody is listening."

"Yeah, you just have to listen to the tone he says things"—Kingsley agreed.

Arthur and Molly looked guilty.

Harry took a pinch of Floo powder "D-Dia-gon Alley," he coughed.

"See what you did, Marlene"—

"Fuck, he could be anywhere"

Moody shook his head—"Not necessary, he said Alley properly."

He fell, face forward, onto the cold stone and felt the bridge of his glasses snap.

"Ouch"—James said

Even worse, the dark, narrow street Harry could see through the dusty shop window was not Diagon Alley.

"He is in Knockturn Alley"

"See he is still in the Alley"

"Sometimes mad-eye"—James spat—"Your sense of Humour is not appreciated."

Harry made his way swiftly and silently toward the door, two people appeared one of them was Draco Malfoy.

"Well, that's just horrible luck"

"Nop, that's just dad's luck"

"Shut up"—Andromeda said—"Lucius is nearby then"

The man who followed could only be Draco's father.

"Fuck!"—James said, almost standing up, Sirius even drew his wand.

A.P. Tilted his head, he hummed, so Lucius was indeed a very important threat at this time, he was used to seeing him as the coward or the politician or the shell of a man his husband called Grandfather.

Malfoy, "Harry Potter got Special permission from Dumbledore He's not even that good,

"Jealous much"—Alice said—"Oh he is such a pompous little thing"

"Good gracious, did I ever sound like that"—Sirius asked.

"Yes!"—The marauders and the girls said.

"You still sound like that, dear"—Marlene laughed—"Not the whole pompous speech, but the pureblood drawl is still there."

Lily pointed at James and mouthed—"You too"

"… everyone thinks he's so smart, wonderful Potter with his scar and his broomstick —" "You have told me this at least a dozen times already," said Mr Malfoy, with a quelling look at his son.

"it sounds like little Malfoy has a crush"—Remus said, making A.P. laugh out loud.

ah, Mr. Borgin."

"No!"—Dorea said—"He is not in there no, he's so deep in the Alley"

"Get out Harry"—James said frantically and Lily turned to him, she had never been in the Alley, not even on a mission. It was the only place that Dumbledore didn't dare send her or the few other Muggle-borns in the Order. –"How deep is it?"

"Almost at the very end, it's like a maze, there is only a direct out from there but it's so stretched that if you've never been there you will only get lost" –Sirius said

"I'm not buying today, Mr. Borgin, but selling," said Mr. Malfoy.

"Filthy little cockroach"—Ted spat.

"Have you met him?"—Frank said

"Once, when he and Narcissa tried to "find" Andy when she ran away, he liked to throw death treats like they were candy"

"Bastard has no problem killing"

Snape pressed his lips. He in a way admired Lucius Malfoy, he had found a way to step away from his father's shadow and fully the desires of their master. His wife was devoted to him and had done her duty, but he could agree, that his mouth sometimes got the man in trouble.

There are rumours about a new Muggle Protection Act — no doubt that flea-bitten, Muggle-loving fool Arthur Weasley is behind it —" Harry felt a hot surge of anger.

"Hope the bastard dreams about me" –Arthur said, making his wife chastise him.

"Like a thief?"—

"Oh Burges retracted that statement quickly"

"The teachers all have favourites, that Hermione Granger —" "I would have thought you'd be ashamed that a girl of no wizard family beat you in every exam," snapped Mr Malfoy.

"Damn, look at our Hermione making pureblood Lords angry."

Marlene turned to Sirius— "Our Hermione? You said you didn't like her."

"Who said that? She's annoying, yes, but so was Lily, she will get better."—he smiled at Lily who made an affronted look.

"He's not the Lord in this reality, and I don't think it's a good idea they know about Hermione"—Andromeda stated.

Lily was disgusted with the things that were sold in the store. – "Why do people buy these things?"

"Fashion in the pureblood houses"—Sirius shrugged.

"Well, at least Harry is already out."

"Aha"—Mad-eye said—"Now let's navigate the Alley"

An aged witch stood in front of him, holding a tray of what looked horribly like whole human fingernails

"Stay away from my grandson."

"Eww, why does she have nails."

"Dark Magic potions"—Snape said.

"She sounds like a hag."

"More like a vamp"

"HARRY! What d'ye think yer doin' down there?" Harry's heart leapt. Hagrid came striding toward them,

The potter and the marauders let out a breath of relief.—"Truly Hagrid, Bless you"—Lily said

Hagrid smiled and waved her off.

—"Knocturn is a horrible place, I'm just glad I found him and people are afraid of me in there."

"I was lookin' for a Flesh-Eatin' Slug Repellent," growled Hagrid.

"Love it"—Frank said amused— "Hagrid is more furious about his cabbages than Harry being down there."

"Hermione is back"—Remus said.

"I See she's growing on you boys"—James amused.

"Harry," Mr. Weasley panted. "We hoped you'd only gone one grate too far…"

Arthur laughed—"I can imagine running from store to store"

"Knocturn Alley is like a scary dream some kids want to know about"—Frank shrugged

"Hopefully none of my kids"—Molly said—"I've never been down there"

"I don't know, but I'll have to show Harry how to navigate the alley in the future"—Monty said.

"Did Lucius Malfoy buy anything?" said Mr. Weasley sharply behind them.

"No, he was selling —"

"So he's worried," said Mr. Weasley with grim satisfaction. "Oh, I'd love to get Lucius Malfoy for something…"

"Arthur! You sound so…not you"—Molly chastised.

A.P. spoke—"Years and years of resentment between each other"

Arthur blushed at how he was acting with Hermione's parents.

Lily laughed— "You sound just like Marlene when she met my parents for the first."

Harry enjoyed the breakneck journey down to the Weasleys' vault but felt dreadful, There was a very small pile of silver Sickles inside, and just one gold Galleon. Mrs. Weasley fell right into the corners before sweeping the whole lot into her bag.

Everyone gasped, even the Weasleys, Arthur was blinking furiously –"How could that be?"

"Why are you poor again?"—

Dorea chastises Sirius, but she too wants to know, everyone knew about the loss of fortune of the Weasleys but not the full details.

Arthur spoke— "Umm because my grandfather gambled everything away, he lost it in a duel of Honour against the Selwyn, who later lost it to the Fawley. Everything, the family fortune, the house, the two workshops, the land in Ireland… I…I wasn't expecting this."

"I don't think Lucius has been making it easy for you, and neither have you with your nonsense laws"—Snape said.

Few people glowered at him.

Harry felt even worse when they reached his vault. He tried to block the contents from view as he hastily shoved handfuls of coins into a leather bag.

"Oh, Harry"—Molly whispered— "He is so sweet."

James looked at his dad like 'Are we going to help them or what' which made him chuckle a little.

Remus sympathizes with the Weasley, he couldn't even imagine what his life was like at this moment, he turns to A.P.— "Where was I this year?"

"Umm, I think you were in Canada."

Sirius turned to glare at Remus who shrugged and sighed—"I don't know Siri, I wish I could return or something"

"' Course, he's very ambitious, Percy, he's got it all planned out… He wants to be Minister of Magic…" Ron told Harry and Hermione.

"Yeah"—Marlene said—"So does my brother, and he's in insufferable ponce"

Molly pressed her lips.

"We can meet him!" Hermione squealed. "I mean, he's written almost the whole booklist!"

"Oh no, she likes him"—Alice said.

"We will see them go through puberty."

"Oh this will be awkward"—James said—"These books aren't you know"—He wiggles his eyebrows at A.P. who burst out in a laugh.

"Really James Potter"—Minerva admonished. –"This is your son"

"I know, that's why I asked, I don't want to hear about him snogging people."

"He isn't snogging anyone, he is little"—Lily stated

"Oh, there you are, good," said Mrs. Weasley. She sounded breathless and kept patting her hair. "We'll be able to see him in a minute…"

Arthur laughed—"Is there something you want to tell me, Molls, I didn't know you fancy blonds"

"Oh of course not, I …I'm sure he…I just want to be presentable"

Gilderoy Lockhart came slowly into view

"He is being described like a wax figure."

"I think"—Snape said—"I've seen a picture of him somewhere, his teeth are very white"

"It can't be Harry Potter?" Lockhart dived forward, seized Harry's arm, and pulled him to the front.

"Let him go, your white teeth winking bastard"—James said

"He is so embarrassed."

"Molly stop him"

"Nice big smile, Harry," said Lockhart, through his gleaming teeth. "Together, you and I are worth the front page."

"Bastard using him for publicity."

When he finally let go of Harry's hand, Harry could hardly feel his fingers. He Lockhart threw an arm around his shoulders and clamped him tightly to his side.

"He is too comfortable touching children"—Lily said angrily, -"Stop touching my child"—She mumbled.

"When young Harry here stepped into Flourish and Blotts today, he only wanted to buy my autobiography

"Oh heavens, he sounds annoying"—Marlene said

"umm I doubt Harry gave a damn"—"Alice said

I have great pleasure and pride in announcing that this September, I will be taking up the post of Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!"

"The hell no"

"Does he have the qualifications?"

Dumbledore leaned forward—"The man does sound interesting, doesn't he?"

"Is that all you ask for, when they ask for the job? Entertainment no wonder the Aurors recruits are useless in Defence"—Moody said

"I take offence"—Frank said

"Bet you loved that, didn't you, Potter?" Draco Malfoy, who was wearing his usual sneer.

"For heaven's sake"—

Andromeda sighed— "It's like listening to a small Lucius Malfoy."

"Go, Ginny!"—

retorted Malfoy. "I suppose your parents will go hungry for a month to pay for all those."

"Hey! Watch your mouth"—Sirius said—"Aunt Druella would be aghast"

Andromeda nodded—"She would, she valued discretion"

Molly was sad, she hated that her children were mocked for their lack of fortune, and that was something she didn't want for them.

"And here comes Lucius"—Monty said

"Busy time at the Ministry, I hear," said Mr. Malfoy. "All those raids… I hope they're paying you overtime?" He reached into Ginny's cauldron "Obviously not," Mr. Malfoy said.

"Wow, Arthur, he doesn't like you"—Frank said

"Watch his hands"—Moody said, making A.P. turn to him, the man was a great Auror, hopefully, he would keep his nose and fewer scars, less paranoid.

"We have a very different idea of what disgraces the name of wizard, Malfoy," he said.

Arthur nodded, he knew his morals and he would always stand to them.

"He spotted the Granger's, that's not good"—Kingsley added.

There was a thud of metal as Ginny's cauldron went flying; Mr Weasley had thrown himself at Mr Malfoy, knocking him backwards into a bookshelf.

"No Arthur!"—Molly yelped.

"Go Arthur!"—Sirius cheered.

"I hope it doesn't backfire"—Alice said.

Mr. Weasley had a cut lip and Mr. Malfoy had been hit in the eye by an Encyclopedia of Toadstools. He was still holding Ginny's old Transfiguration book. He thrust it at her, his eyes glittering with malice.

"I wonder If Lucius even knows how to throw a punch"—Ted laughed.

A.P. smiled, but he was still in the book, that was the moment his mother's entire life changed, it always made him wonder who she would have been if she hadn't been possessed, if she hadn't suffered all those nightmares and mental scars had she been the same type of fighter. He would have to come back to this world in the future and see for himself.

They hurried up the street, the Grangers shaking with fright and Mrs. Weasley beside herself with fury.

"Not such a good impression on them"—

"See what you did Arthur, you embarrassed us in front of the muggles, what would they think about us"

But Arthur wasn't listing— "That probably felt good."

Monty stood up to stretch— "Well, that was…interesting."

"I don't like that Lucius seems even more pompous; he talks as if he is above the law"

"I'm more concerned about the lack of Aurors mentioned."

"The book Just started Moody"

A.P. didn't delay and started the next chapter.

CHAPTER FIVE -The Whomping Willow

Remus sat up straight—"What is Harry doing there?"

Mrs Weasley conjured up a sumptuous dinner that included all of Harry's favourite things.

The potter sent Molly a kind smile.

"He likes Treacle pudding like you love"—Lily smiled.

Molly agreed with the book—"Morning before Hogwarts is exhausting, nobody has anything, or well that's how it was with my brothers, I hope it better for me"

Mrs. Weasley dashed about in a bad mood looking for spare socks and quills; Mr. Weasley nearly broke his neck, tripping over a stray chicken as he crossed the yard.

"Dear, I suppose even after all that practice, we are still a little lost."

"I always had everything ready."

"That's because you have two elves' mate"—Frank reminded James.

"Nah, it depends on the person, I always pack a week before school."

"You are you, Moony, not all of us are perfect."

—Remus gave them the finger.

George had forgotten his box of Filibuster fireworks. Ginny shrieked that she'd left her diary.

"All those things could have been owned"—Augusta said, she had been silent through the whole exchange, and she wondered how she fared with Neville.

CRASH.

Both trolleys hit the barrier and bounced backwards; Ron's trunk fell off with a loud thump, Harry was knocked off his feet, and Hedwig's cage bounced onto the shiny floor.

"What the hell!"

"Has that happened before?"—Remus asked.

Minerva shook her head— "No, not that I'm aware of, during World War II the train delay but that's all."

"Someone had to do this"—Lily said— "Who could have done that?"

Andromeda gasped and Sirius snapped his fingers—"The elf"

Augusta gasped— "He wouldn't…he…he said no one ordered him to hurt him."

"Did he?"

"It's gone," said Ron, sounding stunned. "The train's left.

"You have in Owl"—Kingsley said— "Just send a letter."

"To whom, we are right there, it's not like we aren't going back."—Molly said

"Go wait by the car"—Dorea said.

"I think we'd better go and wait by the car," said Harry. "We're attracting too much atten —"

"Yes! Go before the Aurors and obliviaters arrive."

"That will be a whole mess"—Monty said.

"Ronald, no!"—Molly said angrily.

"Oh, hell no"—Marlene nodded.

Lily's mouth was wide open, she turned to her husband, who didn't know if he should be concerned or amazed. – "Harry, James Potter, use your brain!"—

"I don't know if it's bloody amazing or so dangerous"—Sirius said.

"Dangerous"—Marlene and Remus said.

"Hold on!" Ron yelled, and he slammed his foot on the accelerator; they shot straight into the low, woolly clouds and everything turned dull and foggy.

"Arthur Weasley!"—Molly said, making him jump.

"Molly dear, yes…"

"This…do you realize what you have done?"

Ted shook his head in disbelief— "Muggles, they are going to be seen by muggles."

"Hell, he is your son, James"—Monty said tone slightly in reprimand.

"All we've got to worry about now are aeroplanes," said Ron.

"That's the least of their problems"—Minerva said angrily.

"I doubt the car would handle that long trip"—Frank said

A.P.—"Dad laughs telling this story"

Lily huffed and crossed her arms in annoyance.

however, Harry had to admit that some of the fun was wearing off. The toffees had made them extremely thirsty and they had nothing to drink.

"Yes, because that's the problem, the thirst, not the fact that you're suspended in the air…merlin knows how many feet away from land in a metal cage"—Lily reprimanded.

"Well, thirst can create desperation"—

"James, I swear…"

"I would like to see Arthur and Molly's reaction"—Augusta said

A.P. bites down his smile—"I asked Molly once, and she said It was the worst hours of their lives."

"Why?"—

"I'll explain in a few"

"How come nobody in the train saw them"

Ron put his foot on the accelerator and drove them upward again, but as he did so, the engine began to whine.

Dorea let an exasperated breath—"Arthur you are not allowed to buy a car, no one is… 'll be taking your motorcycle, Sirius"

"What why? It was Arthur's fault"

"Please don't turn off"—Marlene said

"It's probably running low on gas"

"Does it need Gas?"—Remus asked Ted

"There!" Harry shouted, making Ron and Hedwig jump. "Straight ahead!"

"Finally!"—Kingsley said.

"No boredom with Harry I see"—Dumbledore chuckled.

"I think I understand the title of the book"—Remus turned green.

But the car had begun to shudder and was losing speed.

"Oh, they are going to crush"—Molly whimpered

The car gave a nasty wobble. Glancing out of his window, Harry saw the smooth, black, glassy surface of the water, a mile below.

Snape shook his head—"If they fall on the water they will be as good as dead, it will be like smashing into concrete"

"They won't crush"—Alice said—"The car is still going"

"Noooooo!" Ron yelled, swinging the steering wheel around; they missed the dark stone wall by inches.

"Where are the professors."

"They must know by now"

"STOP! STOP!" he yelled, whacking the dashboard and the windshield, but they were still plummeting, the ground flying up toward them

"Shit from all the trees"—Remus said

"What tree?"—Andromeda said

"The willow, it will destroy them"—Frank said

"Shit, that sounded horrible"

"It sounded like it hurt"—James swallowed.

a golfball-size lump was throbbing on Harry's head where he had hit the windshield;

Andromeda deflated—"Harry! Why is he always getting hurt, that's probably a concussion"

"You're going to tell me no one heard that"—Augusta said

"The feast probably started already."

"Dumbledore had to feel the intrusion in the wards"—Monty said

"I'm sure I sent someone to find them"

The tree they had hit was attacking them.

Remus whimpered and Marlene hugged him.

"It's not your fault, Rems."

"I know"—He said quietly.

At the Weasley's questioning looks Dumbledore explained.

"The Tree was planted for Remus's transformation; the tree hides a passage."

"They have to get out of there…now"—Sirius said, he remembered when a small branch smacked him in the back and damn had it hurt.

"Reverse!" Harry yelled, and the car shot backwards; the tree was still trying to hit them;

Ted tilted his head—"Um, did the car just listen to a command?"

"Arthur, how did you charm it?"

"Did you use Runes?"—Sirius asked seriously—"Monty told me not to miss with Runes because it would make it go crazy"

"That," panted Ron, "was close. Well done, car —"

"Holy shit is alive"—Remus said, perplexed.

"You use Runes"—Monty said, shaking his head at Arthur, who looked half curious, half chagrined.

"Wait, my bike could do that?"

"NO!"—Six people answered.

"They just crashed to their almost death, and they are worried about the damn car"

"They are twelve, their parents are scarier than death."

"Harry has no parents"—Marlene said, getting a look from Sirius—"What I'm just saying…he doesn't care much for his well-being"

"There's an empty chair at the staff table… Where's Snape?"

Snape shook his head while rearranging himself in his seat. He would love to get to punish the idiot boys, who clearly wouldn't learn anything about this experience. He could see the recklessness in the Potter child, so much like his father, he wouldn't be surprised If the boy went and did something more stupid in the following chapters, but the Weasley boy…he turned to the couple… the mother with so many children forgot to put on leash on her youngest.

Kingsley laughed—"Or maybe he is looking for you"

"Or maybe," said a very cold voice right behind them, "he's waiting to hear why you two didn't arrive on the school train."

"Shit, they are In deep trouble."—

Snape smiled.

Monty rolled his eyes—"I don't want him to give them their punishment, but I do agree that they need one."

James made a face—"Why do all potion masters have such disgusting offices"

"So nosy boys don't touch things"—Monty mocked him

Snape had given Harry the impression of being able to read minds.

Monty stood up with his wand drawn and Snape was startled—"I wouldn't dare to use it on a child"

"I'm sure there are many things you would dare to do"—

Dumbledore tried to appease—"Monty Please, I wouldn't allow Severus to use Legilimency on a child"

James sighed and twisted his neck. Lily next to him, was tense, she knew since when Snape had started learning occlumency, she knew someone like Harry wouldn't be able to feel Snape intruding in his mind, but she also knew that Snape learned it for a reason, and she wanted to believe he would remind himself of that.

Evening Prophet. "You were seen," he hissed, showing them the headline: FLYING FORD ANGLIA MYSTIFIES MUGGLES.

"Oh no!"—Molly covered her eyes.

"Well, that won't go down well." –Arthur said

"Shit Harry, do mischief but not like that"—James said, pulling at his hair

Lily half glared—"At least you had the decency to respect the law"

Marlene bit her lip trying not to say a sarcastic comment at Lily's obvious sarcastic tone…the boys shifted in their seats.

"Oi don't need to make him feel like shit"—Frank said to Snape— "You're not punishing them, you're gloating."

"They broke the law, damaged the statute of secrecy…"

"The statute gets damaged every day …they do need to be held responsible, but making them feel like shit when it's obvious that they are hurt, and you haven't done anything to help them, won't fix the problem"—Frank said.

Sirius wanted to tell Snape off for defending the willow but bit his tongue when he saw Remus glaring at him.

"That tree did more damage to us than we —" Ron blurted out.

"Don't say…one broken wand, probably a concussion and some very sour ribs…they need poppy"-Andromeda stated.

Professor McGonagall was angry on several occasions, but either he had forgotten just how thin her mouth could go, or he had never seen her this angry before.

The McGonagall from the room gasped, this was the second time Harry thought she would hurt him, and she didn't understand why she hadn't realized his skittish behaviour she knew immediately with Sirius.

"I — I didn't think —" "That," said Professor McGonagall, "is obvious."

"You are not a true Gryffindor of McGonagall hasn't made you feel stupid."

Harry's whole body went numb. Dumbledore was looking unusually grave.

"I wonder how much of it is true? Children tend to exaggerate things."

"Are you saying Dumbledore isn't concerned…they broke the law"—Augusta told Ted.

"Yes, but they didn't kill anyone, Dumbledore didn't necessarily risk his neck for them, he was probably advice to just admonish them"

Sirius shook his head—"No pup, yelling Dumbledore is worse"

"He is so used to being yelled at"—

"Not today, Mr. Weasley," said Dumbledore. "But I must impress upon both of you the seriousness of what you have done. I will be writing to both of your families tonight.

"That's it? They broke the law…you have always been…"

"Lenient? Understandable?"—Dumbledore said, looking at Severus who immediately deflected.

Surprising A.P. who tilted his head in curiosity…so the wound was fresh, maybe the years made them closer.

"I do wonder"—Lily said, looking at Snape—"You get Harry expelled, then what? You would culminate your vengeance of sixteen years…would it make you feel better?"

Snape looked at Lily with sadness…he didn't know how to answer her, he didn't know her any more…she looked so different, and spoke differently.

"That's what I thought…I hope you start realizing how…perturbed you are acting so you don't become that."—she said no more and sipped her tea.

Her husband let out a breath and waited for everyone's attention to go back to the book, he whispered— "I don't want you and him alone"—Lily only gave him a curt nod.

"Your sister is also in Gryffindor."

Arthur and Molly smiled proudly.

"Professor, when we took the car, the term hadn't started, so — so Gryffindor shouldn't have points taken from it — should it?" he was sure she had almost smiled.

"HA!"—Dorea clapped—"Slytherin, that was very Slytherin of him"

James and Sirius groaned—"Mom, you're embarrassing us"

"But you will both get a detention."

"Is this a new record?"—Remus said—"Not even an hour in school and already detention"

"No, my lovely wife gave me detention on the train"—

"You shouldn't be proud of that, you were tormenting Timmy Louis"

"Yeah, because he kissed Peter's Girlfriend and he was too much of a coward to do something, so we had to…"—James frowned and slumped back on the couch. — "Defend his honour"—he whispered and stood towards the kitchen, he came back with a bottle of fire whiskey and a few glasses.

Lily smiled indulgently. — "Just don't get drunk."

"You will eat in here and then go straight up to your dormitory,"

Andromeda turned to Minerva. — "Um, no, they need to go to Poppy."

"My son probably has a concussion, and you send him to sleep?"

"She didn't want us showing off," said Ron sagely. "Doesn't want people to think it's clever, arriving by flying car."

Arthur laughed— "Yeah, that's not it, son."

"Maybe it is"—Sirius flinched when Minerva glared at him— "What? Minnie, you have to admit we had our moments, and you thought we were clever."

"I highly doubt it."

A.P.— "Give it to third year"—he mocked the Marauders who were staring at him—"You will see how clever the marauders truly were"

"Damn no!"—Sirius said crazy eye

"You're not telling me you did fly here?" said Hermione, sounding almost as severe as Professor McGonagall.

"Ah there she is"—Lily smiled—"Smacked them"

"Violence, why everything so violent with you"—Alice laughed

"Not too hard, just a smack on the back of the head, they sound too smug."

It looked as though the whole of Gryffindor House was still awake, packed into the circular common room.

Minerva scoffed, annoyed—"You would think the older students would know better"

"Hogwarts allowed us to be nonchalant, professor"—Remus smiled—"And you have to admit it does sound cool, irresponsible or not…it's something they will tell their grandkids"

"oh they do"—A.P. laughed—"Though Dad and Uncle Ron make sure to not tell it so close to Molly."

Molly turned to A.P.—"You said this was my worst hours?"

"Oh because you didn't know they took the car, you thought they were on the train, and you assumed the car had been stolen by a muggle, so imagine your surprise when you saw the evening prophet"

Molly's eye twitched and Arthur tried to soothe her.

"Brilliant!" yelled Lee Jordan. "Inspired! What an entrance! Flying a car right into the Whomping Willow, people be talking about that one for years —"

James smiled—"Did they?"

A.P. nodded—"While dad was at Hogwarts, yes and then someone did a book about the craziest things done in Hogwarts and this little adventure made it into the book"—Albus smiled—"Well Dad had a whole chapter"
