This plot bunny bit me one day and wouldn't let go, so here is a new story featuring our favorite Daycare Animatronics: Sun, Moon, and Eclipse. :)
Title is just a funny thing, please don't get upset. I am well aware the three are animatronics. For this story, the three will be their own separate selves.
FNAF: Security Breach belongs to its respective owners. I only own Rachel and Molly (both are different OCs than from my other stories). Takes place after the fire ending of the game, but with Sun, Moon, and Eclipse all escaping the fire.
Three Robots, A Mechanic, And A Child
"It's a great price, but the place is...well, it needs some work," the real estate agent said to the young woman beside him. "You sure you want to own this place, Miss Rachel?"
"Yes, James, I'm sure," the twenty-four year old woman said with a nod, her blonde hair braid moving a bit with the motion. "My daughter and I need a new place and this will do. It's out of the way, it's big enough for the two of us, and that family won't step foot near me or my daughter."
James nodded. "I'm sorry about the divorce," he said sincerely. "You didn't deserve how that boy treated you."
She nodded, her blue eyes getting a faraway look. Her husband's family had decided that she was no good for the family and made her husband divorce her and disown her and his daughter. To her ex-husband's shock, when she was handed the divorce papers, she had looked him dead in the eye, keeping her dignity as she signed the papers before she called her dad, who called up the family lawyer.
Thankfully, thanks to her ex's family wanting to keep things on the down-low, the divorce was quickly finalized and clean, which Rachel was glad about. As soon as she got the money from the divorce, she began looking for a house, finding one the next day and calling the real estate agent.
Now, Molly was beside her, looking at the house in front of them. "It's like a mansion, Mommy!" She said in awe.
The young woman smiled at her four-year-old daughter. "It is, isn't it?" She asked before the agent handed her the keys.
"Why don't you go look inside after you sign the last form?" He suggested, holding out the form for her. She signed it at once, already having gone over it with him prior.
"Done," she said. "Thank you again, James. I appreciate it."
"Just returning a favor, Miss Rachel," he said with a smile. "From what your parents told me, you're not just a mechanic, but essentially, a Jill of all trades."
Rachel shrugged. "Well, I do like building and fixing things," she said.
He smiled. "Good luck to you and your daughter," he said before heading out. Rachel unlocked the door and she and her daughter stepped inside the house.
"Wow!" The child said, her voice echoing.
Rachel was about to echo her daughter's comment when she noticed something. The house...was clean. Sure, the disrepair that needed to be attended to was obvious, but...it looked like someone had taken the time to dust the house and mop the floors. Her foot slipped a tad and she looked again to see the shiny sheen on the floors. "Wax?" She asked herself in surprise.
She continued walking around, hearing her daughter following her as they examined the other rooms. The six bedrooms were quite large and Molly looked at her mother hopefully, to which Rachel smiled. "Yes, one of these will be your room," she said, much to the child's delight.
As they continued looking around, Molly opened the door that led to what looked like a daycare area with a ball pit full of colorful balls, a slide, and a jungle gym. "Mommy, look!" She said eagerly.
Rachel was stunned. "Did someone run a daycare here at one time?" She asked before noticing that the daycare room looked to be in immaculate condition. That made her curious as to why the rest of the house would be needing some repairs while this daycare room was practically brand new.
Molly climbed up to the slide and slid down happily, jumping into the ball pit next, giggling. The young woman sat on the edge of the ball pit, watching her daughter playing happily. Rachel then got out her phone and made a note on it of what repairs were needed. From the looks of it, the walls needed some fresh paint and a few holes needed to be mended in the walls along with a few doors needing replaced.
After she compiled the list, she was actually surprised it wasn't longer. "James said the house needed some repairs, but these seem like just fixing up some wear and tear," she said to herself. She also noted that some areas that needed repair looked like someone had tried to repair them recently, but was unable to complete the job. "Hmm, looks like a patch job," she said, examining it more and finding that, while not perfect, the patch job was actually pretty well done. "Someone did the best they could with what they had on hand."
Since James hadn't mentioned someone doing repairs, Rachel was quite curious as to who had been in the house to do the repairs. As far as she knew, there was only one set of keys, which she currently had in her pocket.
Molly suddenly popped out of the ball pit. "Mommy! I found a treasure!" She said excitedly.
"You did?" Rachel asked, smiling. Her daughter always loved to explore and called anything that she found on whatever adventure she was on a treasure. "What did you find?"
The four-year-old girl held up a plushie of a character that looked like a jester with stars on his outfit and even a little blue hat with stars on it. She noted his face looked like a cresent moon too and looked curious. "Hmm, I don't recall ever seeing a plushie like this," she said, noting it was in very good condition, making her wonder if the previous owner's child had accidentally left it behind, but then she recalled that James told her the last person to own the house had been a stewardess on an airplane and was hardly ever home due to traveling all the time. The house had been more of a home base to just collect the mail.
Before her, it had been the first owner who built the house, but the man didn't have kids. The jester plushie was a mystery then to Rachel, since she wondered where it had come from and she especially wondered why someone would have buried it in the ball pit, though she assumed maybe it had happened in a game of hide and seek or a scavenger hunt.
"Can I keep him, Mommy? Please?" Molly asked, hugging the plushie and looking up at her mother hopefully.
Rachel smiled. "Can I see him real quick, sweetie?" She asked.
The child handed her the plushie and the young woman looked it over, seeing it was clean and there was no markings on it to indicate it belonged to someone. "Well, he doesn't have any markings indicating he belonged to someone, so it looks like he's yours now, sugar dumpling," she said, handing the plushie back to the child.
"Yay!" Molly cheered, hugging it tightly.
This made her mother smile. When they had lived with her ex-husband, he had refused to let Molly have a lot of toys or plushies, claiming she didn't need them. Rachel's parents however managed to gift Molly with a few stuffed animals and toys. While her ex-husband had managed to steal some of the gifts and give them away, Rachel had managed to hide a few of them so Molly could have something to play with. His attitude towards their daughter was one of the main reasons Rachel had divorced him. She had technically left him a year prior and had been living with her folks until the divorce went through.
Of course, her ex-husband had tried to delay it and make her and Molly return to him and it didn't help that his own family had tried to take Molly away from Rachel. Thankfully, Rachel's father had called up his judge friend, along with his policeman friend, and social worker friend. Those three had been on Rachel's side as they had been in Rachel's life since she was six-years-old and thankfully, Rachel won the case and the divorce was finalized.
She took a deep breath and smiled. The house had been a good price and she was ready to fix it up into a proper home. "Well, we have a week before the moving van brings all our furniture," she said aloud to her daughter. "So what do you say we fix up our ship to be ready to sail the seas?"
"Yeah!" Molly cheered before stopping herself. "I mean...Aye, Captain!"
Rachel laughed in amusement, knowing how much her daughter loved to pretend to be a pirate. "Let's get to it then, First Mate!" She said, getting into character. "First off, we sail for the hardware store!"
Little did either of them know, someone heard them and was curious.
Make that three someones.
And here we go! :) Just to give you all a heads up, this story will have platonic relationships. :)
