"Why didn't you save us Lunaria? We trusted you! We trusted you!" Black pits where eyes were supposed to be cried blood. The face contorted in pain, and betrayal. She stepped back only for a hand to grip her ankle, she looked down and tried to choke down a scream. A small face looked up at her in rage. "It's your fault!" The tiny one screamed, another hand grasped her leg. "It's all your fault!" They screamed. Black liquid dripped from their eyes as they pointed crooked fingers at her. The tiny one's jaw hung crookedly, had it been that way? The other slightly bigger one pointed a finger from a crooked arm. Was its arm supposed to bend that way?
she turned and ran, but no matter how far she ran they circled around her. They chanted the same phrase over, and over again.
'your fault!'
'your fault!'
'your fault!'
"stop! I'm sorry!" She cried.
"I'm sorry!"
"-naria! Wake up!" She gasped awake, sucking in the cold air. She heaved as tears streamed down her face, sobs climbing up her throat. Aizawa stood before her gazing down at her with worried eyes.
"Are you ok?" He asked, sitting at the edge of the bed. "I think I'll be ok?" She mumbled out, more questioning herself. "I remember... the first time I failed to save people in a hostage situation." Aizawa sighed. She looked at him with surprise at his confession. "It was supposed to be a simple negotiation mission, but. I was arrogant, and cocky. I thought I didn't need to reason with the guy, and the moment I rushed to apprehend him he killed them. Pushed the button and...and killed almost all of them. Some of them survived, and it took time for them to forgive me. But, it took forever for me to forgive myself. My guilt came in the form of them greeting me in my dreams." Aizawa grimaced.
"I let myself get captured so I could try and save five of my soldiers. Got strapped to a chair and forced to watch every last one of them get mutilated, and murdered. They tried so hard to crack me, and each one of my soldiers begged me to be quiet. Their screams haunt me, I can never forget what they went through. I felt so powerless. My team rescued me, but it had already been too late. I blame myself for not realizing how cruel the humans of my world could be." She whispered. They sat in a comfortable silence for a few minutes before Aizawa stood. "The only thing you can do is learn to forgive yourself. It won't be easy, and it will take a long time." He said with tired eyes.
"Fight me!" She blinked at the boy standing in front of her. "No." She said turning and walking away. "Don't walk away from me wench!" He screamed stomping after her. She groaned in annoyance as he matched her pace.
"I'm not fighting you bakugo." She sighed in annoyance. She heard the crackling of his quirk, and felt a headache form.
"Oh are you scared?" He taunted. "No I'm not scared. You just aren't worth the time to fight." She pursed her lips as the words left her lips. 'Fudge and sprinkled' she cursed internally.
"whaaattt!!!! Fight me!!" She screamed. Her eye twitched as he continued to demand a fight. Hoping he would be quiet, but. No such luck as he continued to bother her for the next week.
She ran into him at the grocery store. "Fight me!" He shouted, snapping the leeks in half. "No." She said calmly grabbing her avocados. He screeched as she left.
While she was at the park. "Fight me!" The parents shuffled their children away, shooting nasty looks his way. "No." She said as she continued down the trail. He screamed angrily, and hovered over her shoulder the entire way.
At the cafe. "Fight me." He grunted, as the boss skeptically looked at him. "No." She said before picking up her finished order.
While she was working out. "Fight me!" The people around shuffled away from them. "No." She grunted putting her weights down. Steam shout from his crackling hands.
"Fight me!" He screamed, as he stomped towards her. "Will you leave me alone if I fight you." She groaned exasperated. He grinned triumphantly, "I hope you're ready to get your ass handed to you!" He said sardonically.
They picked a clearing far in the woods, standing a few feet from each other. She sighed tiredly, as her pixies looked at her in pity from a rock.
"go!" Mimi said.
Bakugo shot forward slamming his right fist forward, screeching as he stumbled forward his fist punching air. "For someone who claims to be the best. You sure are slow." Lunaria stated, putting her weight on her right leg. He spun around, mind reeling at how she got around him so fast. "Stop running and fight me!" He screamed, shooting forward slamming his right palm forward his quirk exploding in her face. "Ah, so you're right dominant." She mused from his left. He jerked to the left, unable to react when a fist slammed into his gut.
He grunted as his back collided with the grassy earth. He wheezed as he struggled to stand properly, stumbling slightly. He barely rolled out of the way as a heel slammed into his previous position. "You wanted a fight Bakago, why are you running?" She mocked.
He grit his teeth as he attempted to sweep her feet from under her. He shot his left palm forward explosions meeting with the air where she was. He felt hands on his shoulders, as she uprighted her body before she let gravity force her body down. She slammed her knees into back she slid her right hand to the middle of his back, lifted him, and flung him.
He pivoted mid air skidding across the ground, barely able to block her heel as it slammed onto his arms. He grunted before grabbing her ankle and swinging her towards the ground. She grunted as her back collided with the earth, springing up and away as he attempted to slam his fist down.
She shot forward flipping over him, and wrapped her legs around his torso. Snaking her arms under his she locked her fingers behind his head. She kept him in that hold as he struggled to move, panting before dropping to his knees.
Slowly she let him go waiting for him to attack, but he never did. He sat there staring at the ground. "I lost?" He whispered. "You did." She said. He swiveled his head around to meet her gaze, but she held no mocking look. "I hate losing." He seethed.
"I can spar with you every once in awhile." She said. I can train you. "I don't need your shitty spars." He grumbled. Fine. A small smile graced her features as she looked at the pouting boy.

A voice floated through the wind, Mezo Shoji stopped mid strike as he panted. He strained his ears as he listened to the sound of a violin play, deeper in the woods. He hated the idea of spying.

He carefully stepped around the fallen twigs as he moved forward. The sound of music growing louder, as he went farther into the woods.

Shojis throat ran dry at the sight of a half naked girl, as she stood in the middle of a pond. He froze at the sight, her wet hair clung loosely to her body. Dark green hair framed her face, his eyes trailed down as her green hair clung down her slim figure descending into the water.

His breath hitched as her voice rang through the clearing. His eyes scanned for the source of the violin, but he couldn't find anything.

He heard the grief slip through her lips. His stomach flipped as she opened her eyes, and turned her magenta eyes to his. He felt ice run down his spine as she met his eyes.

She waded through the water towards him. No. Towards her dry clothes. He felt his jaw slacken as he watched ethereal wings open, the periwinkle pink clashing beautifully with her caramel skin. He felt relief flood him as he saw her rise from the water, he furrowed his brows when the water slid from her shirt and pants. The only part of her wet being her hair.
"Can I know why you're watching me?" He flinched as she turned to face him.
"I uh. I uhm. I heard you from where I was training. I had. I had no intention to spy on you." He sputtered, fumbling over his words. He felt his knees tremble when a soft laugh left her lips.
"I uh. I'm Shoji Mezo." He cursed himself for fumbling in front of her. He met her eyes, as amusement twinkled in her magenta orbs.
"Taneisha Lunaria, but you can call me Lunaria, or Luna." She giggled.
He thanked whatever luck he had for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Hey guys so my mum really wanted this to be a Luna and Mezo ship. I think it'll be a cute ship!
Criticism is welcome!
