Lori was taking care of a small frostbite that Snow Flaker gave her back in Dairyland while she was fighting him. It didn't bother her because she was just glad everyone else in Dairyland was safe from Snow Flaker and his sick sense of "fun".

"That was a close one, Babe." Said Bobby. The SWAT team coming to help you was a lucky break."

"Totally." Lori agreed with her boyfriend. "I literally would have countless bullets in my body that I would be leaking lead.

"Don't even say that, Baby. It would make me sick to think about it." He suddenly felt his stomach feeling funny and his face turned green before throwing up in a nearby trash can. "Too late." He retched.

Lori walked up to her boyfriend while he was still vomiting and gently patted his backs a few times for comfort. "Let it all out, Boo-Boo Bear. Let it all out." Her boyfriend did just that and retched two more times in the garbage can.

"I'll probably not eat grandma's tamales for a while." he sighed.

"Don't worry. I can take care of myself, Boo-Boo Bear." Lori assured him. "I do have Lincoln helping me out now. And for Snow Flaker, you're right. I'll get him one day. But, who were those bad guys? Are they mercenaries or some kind of henchmen?"

"Good question, Babe." Bobby gently grasped his tummy. "maybe someone hates you so much and wants to kill you."

"But who did I make mad?" Lori wondered. "It can't be Carol because i helped her out in the error of her ways... maybe it was Snow Flaker because those guys were backing him up against me." she was brainstorming what was going on, and it wasn't long before she realized there is a greater kind of villain. What kind of person would even get him out of prison in the first place? Maybe a politician or a man with a lot of money to bail Flaker out of the clink, someone probably as rich as Bernard Arnault or Elon Musk.

It was puzzling for Lori and pondered on that question.

"Maybe Lisa might find out who it is." said the fire hero. "If anyone can crack a case, it's her."

"Or Lincoln." Bobby pointed. "He always wanted to become a spy, along with being a superhero."

"Yeah but i don't want to put my little brother in danger with those bad guys. Have you seen their guns? What are the odds of the government having those kind of guns."

"Yeah, there's never any reason for an American soldier to have an AK-47 as their own weapon."

"Wait, how do you know what kind of guns they have?"

"I played a lot of war games growing up. Besides, what's not to love about first-person shooter video games, Babe? The graphics, the guns, the stories, you name it."

"Right... But Lincoln probably wouldn't want to spy on these men anyway. These guys look really dangerous and armed to the teeth. I could... i could ask the mayor to look at those soldiers. She did literally call in the SWAT team to help me out. I can always count on her to help me out."

Bobby smiled. "Right." he said.

Meanwhile, while Lori and Lincoln were trying to figure out who got Snow Flaker out of prison, and who sent those guards after Volcano Girl in the first place, the very man himself was done smoking a cigarette as he was looking out the window of his manor, having a serious expression on his hardened face. Christopher Barrymore was wondering when his new friend would come back, for he is running a little late. His manor was well-guarded by some private security force he hired as his personal protection, apart from his intimidating, hulking bodyguard to always protect him when he is out of his fancy house

His butler came up to him, serving him some ratatouille from a silver platter. "Here is the mean you requested for, sir Barrymore."

"Thank you, Ritcher." said the mastermind politely before taking the plate, and the fork that his lackey had with him. "Do you know when Snow Flaker will be coming back? He should have returned over an hour ago." looking back at the window, he was still wondering

"I tried calling him on his cellphone, but no responses from him." Ritcher admitted. "Do you think he got arrested again?"

"No. No if he got sent back to prison, then it would be shown on the news." he took the first bit of his ratatouille

Barrymore noticed him coming back to the manor through his window, smiling to see his new crony back from the job.

"Nevermind. Here he is." Christopher said. "Open the door for him."

"Yes sir." the butler rushed downstairs and opened the front door for the ice villain to enter the building. "Welcome back, Snow Flaker."

"Out of my way." said the ice villain, sounding like he was in a hurry. "I need to talk to your boss." He was panting because he was trying so hard to evade law enforcement after his getaway from Dairyland. "Mr. Barrymore!" he called out as he was coming up the stairs

"Up here, Snow Flaker." the rich man called.

Rushing up to the man's personal study, Snow Flaker found him still eating his ratatouille. "I'm so sorry. I tried my best to take her down but-"

"Quiet." Christopher Barrymore raised his right hand with a calm look on his face. "What exactly happened?"

"The mayor called in reinforcements, the SWAT team to be exact right before your guys could pull the trigger on her all at once. One of them threw a flashbang in front of us to blind us and a shootout broke out. I had to get away from there as fast as possible, Mr. Barrymore. I was so close! I had her!"

"No need to worry. It was a temporary setback. We just need to come up with a smarter plan."

"Right."
