All squadrons, report to training area immediately. Adora sighed as she made her way toward the 3 recruits standing in position. She looked around to see that the 4th recruit of her squad was missing, "Psst. Has anyone seen Catra?"

The brunette next to her shrugged her shoulders. Adora scoffs, "Not again…"

Before she could think about anything else the horde trainer comes in, "Attention, Cadets." Everyone straightened themselves; he explained the exercise they would be doing today before looking at all of them and asking, "Where is Catra?"

Adora quickly answered, "She will be here. I promise"

The instructor raised an eyebrow but didn't say much else taking Adora's words as the truth. As he finished explaining the drill, he wished good luck to the young recruits and opened the doors to the training arena.

From the very beginning Adora thought that the training exercise would be a complete failure but she was pleasantly surprised when the PA announced that the exercise was successfully completed. At the last minute Catra had showed up only to push the bot away when Adora had been the one to put all the work in to taking it down. That didn't bother her though because she knew Catra and that she would show up sooner or later even if the timing was bad. She walked out of the training room, Catra following close behind. As they enter the locker room, she hears Catra laughing as she opens her locker.

"You should have seen your face. You were like, AHH, NO! Betrayal!"

Adora scoffs "Come on, Catra. We're senior cadets now. I can't believe you're still pulling such childish, immature-IS THAT A MOUSE?!"

Catra immediately falls in to alert, "what?! Where?!"

Adora laughs, "are you ever going to not fall for that?"

Catra huffs, "I don't know. Are you ever going to let it go? That was one time."

Adora chuckles, "I know, but for some reason its always funny."

Catra huffs before tackling Adora in to a hug, "If you don't drop it, I'm going to break up with you!"

Adora chuckled one more time. She knew Catra wouldn't go through with her threat, they've been together for so long. She still remembers when Catra confessed that she was in love with her and how scared she was that Adora would reject her, but what Catra didn't know at the time was that Adora was just as in love with her if not more. She placed a gentle kiss on Catra's forehead, making her look up at Adora, going in for a kiss.

Every time Catra kissed Adora it always felt like a spark was running down her body, like this is where she belonged and nothing better would ever replace this incredible feeling. She pulled Adora in to a more heated kiss, making the blond let out a small moan.

"Adora"

Both of them jumped apart as they heard the voice of Shadow Weaver resonate in the locker room. A tall lady appeared from the shadows, her eyes narrowing through the mask as she stared at the two flushed girls in front of her. She couldn't quite put her finger on it but she knew they were hiding something.

Shadow Weaver came closer to Adora, "You've done well. You've completed your training course in record time"

Adora clears her throat, trying to calm her beating heart. Trying to pretend Shadow Weaver didn't just almost catch them kissing, "Uh, well, that wasn't just me. You know. Catra did, too"

Shadow Weaver glared at Catra, "Ah, yes. How someone as unmotivated as you completed the course in that time. I'll never know"

Catra narrowed her eyes "Always serving up those pep talks, huh. Shadow Weaver." She noticed the shadows next to her getting more intense making her scared.

"Silence. Do not be flippant with me cadet."

"Sorry Shadow Weaver"

Shadow Weaver ignored her and looked toward Adora, "Adora, walk with me."

Adora looked at Catra and shrugged before running after Shadow Weaver.

Catra was looking around for Adora because she hadn't seen her since she left earlier with Shadow Weaver. She asked around a bit and some cadets had told her that they saw Adora walk outside. As she jumped around the metal pipes, she spotted her girlfriend who was inspecting a pin before attaching it to her jacket. She leaps toward Adora making her fall down, "What did she say? Hey, what's this?"

"Hey! Give it back."

Catra avoided Adora as she looked at the pin more closely, "No way. You've been promoted?"

Adora glanced at Catra nervously, "Well, kind of. I mean, yeah, I guess. Heh. But it's no big deal."

Catra chuckled, smiling at her, "Are you kidding? That is awesome. We're gonna see the world and conquer it. Adora!" She leans closer giving her a strong kiss on the lips before pulling away, "I need to blow something up!"

Adora blinked a couple times, surprised by the kiss, before scratching the back of her head nervously, "umm…"

Catra raised an eyebrow, her excitement dying down, "What?"

"Shadow Weaver said you're not coming…"

"What? My time was just as good as yours today. What is her problem with me?"

Adora grimaced at Catra's anger, "I mean you are kind of disrespectful."

Catra glared at Adora, "Why should I respect her? She's just bitter that she doesn't have any real power that doesn't come from Hordak and everyone knows it! I guess it sure must be easy being a people pleaser like you!"

Adora looked at Catra incredulously, "I am not a pe—Catra wait!" Adora sighed as she watched Catra scurry away from her. Adora frowned and followed after her, she watched as her girlfriend sat alone on the rooftop before propelling over the side of the structure and joining her. She hugged Catra from behind, feeling the feline tense in surprise. "Look, I'm sorry. I didn't even think you wanted to be force captain."

Catra wiggled out of her grasp, "I don't" she lied. She threw Adora the badge, "Here, take your stupid pin."

Adora pokes at Catra trying to get a smile out of her, "Come on, Catra. This is what I have been working for my entire life. I was hoping you could be, I don't know, happy for me!"

Catra scowled at her, "Ugh, whatever. It's not like I even care. I just want to get out of this dump at some point before I die of boredom. I wonder what's even outside the fright zone anyway."

The blond gave her girlfriend a wide smile, making Catra raise an eyebrow in confusion. "Why don't we go find out?" she said cheekily as she pulled out a key from her pocket.

Catra grinned excitedly as she felt the wind hit her face, "I take it back. You're officially awesome. I can't even believe you actually stole a skiff."

Adora gave a nervous smile, "Borrowed. Please don't make me regret this."

"I've always wanted to drive one of these things. Here gimme." She pushed Adora's hands away and grabbed at the controls.

Panicked, Adora tries to grab at the controls again, "Woah, there. Save us enough fuel to get back."

"That's a problem for future Adora and Catra."

Catra kicked Adora when she tried to grab the handles again, making the blond grunt in displeasure. Adora and Catra continued to argue and fight over the controls of the skiff as they reached the entrance of the Whispering Woods.

Adora slowed down the skiff, mesmerized by the exotic looking forest, "I think this must be the whispering woods. They say there are strange, old monsters in there an-and the trees move when you're not looking. Every Horde squadron they've sent in there has never come out again."

"Let's go in!" Catra said excitedly.

Adora looked at her incredulously before screaming in surprise when Catra grabbed the controls and made the skiff go forward at full speed. She held on for dear life, trying to survive the danger that was Catra. Meanwhile Catra yelled excitedly as she drove through the thick forest.

"Catra, slow down! Catra, tree! Tree!" Adora screamed as she pushed Catra away from the handle of the skiff. She veered around the obstacles of the forest until a tree a vine caught her neck and pulled her out of the vehicle, the skiff continuing to fly forward, straight up a tree.

"Adora!"

Adora grunted as she landed on some bushes, softening her blow. She coughed, choking on flora from the bushes as she stood and dusted herself off. She saw a white light shine brightly, making her walk towards it, "Catra!" she called, but heard no answer. She continued toward the light, only to see a sword intertwined with vines. "Whoa…" she walks toward the sword as if in trance, "Cool."

Touching the handle, it shined brightly, blinding her in the process. A woman's voice echoed in the distance, sceneries flashed through her mind, a baby cried in the distance. The bright light blinded her once again, and the female voice called her name.

"Adora, Adora!" Opening her eyes she saw Catra calling her name, "Hey, Adora. Adora!"

"Catra? What happened?"

"You fell out of the skiff when you drove it up a tree."

Adora pushes her away, rolling her eyes "No! You crashed it up a tree."

Catra shrugged "Ah, that's up to debate. Come on let's go!"

"Wait. Where is it? Where did it go?"

Raising an eyebrow Catra questioned her, "Where did what go?"

"Ther-there was a sword. It was right here. I tried to touch it but it got really bright."

Catra grabbed Adora's head trying to see if the blond had a bump on her head, "Are you a bit brain damaged? Don't be brain damaged… Oh, Shadow Weaver is gonna kill me."

"I'm not brain damaged! It was here! I saw it!" Adora pushed Catra away and in the process she tripped on her feet, catching the feline by surprise and pulling her down with her.

Catra winced as she hit the ground, pinned under Adora. "Theres nothing here now!", she grunted, trying to push Adora off of her.

The blond looked back at where the sword was before looking down at Catra. At this time Catra was just looking up at her, the girl's hands pressing softly on Adora's chest, waiting for the her to willingly get off of her. Strange flowers lay near them from the bush, making Catra seem even more mesmerizing to Adora's eyes.

"What?" Catra gives her a questioning look before she felt Adora's lips on hers. She felt the blonds tongue entering her mouth, making Catra feel butterflies in the pit of her stomach. Her hands intertwining through the blonde's hair as she seemed to get lost in the kiss. She didn't understand how Adora could go from a hallucinating idiot to a horny one who wanted nothing but to have her way with her. At the same time, it wasn't like she would complain. After all, it can be extremely difficult to get time alone with your girlfriend when you sleep in a shared bedroom with about 20 other people.

The girls fell oblivious to their surroundings as they got lost between caresses and kisses. Unaware that everything around them seemed to be glowing as particles of magic floated around them.

The brown-haired girl looked at her girlfriend as she put her shirt back on, watching as the claw marks were hidden away by the white shirt. She sat on the skiff, crossing her legs as she waited for Adora to finish. "Well… having sex with my brain damaged girlfriend was not on my to-do list but I guess I can check it off.", she chuckled.

Adora glared at her, "I am not brain damaged! I swear there was a sword, right there!" She pointed towards the empty land, making Catra raise an eyebrow. "I swear!"

"Okay, okay. I believe you," Catra smiled before pulling the blond by her pony tail, "but let's go before Shadow Weaver finds out we're not there!"
