My name is Alex, I just started my biggest journey: my quest to kill every single monster in this world. My father died when I was 14, he got infected with a zombie virus, the same that killed my mother right after I was born.

Now, the virus isn't able to pass from a human to another directly, it has to first infect another species. In our case, my father's virus came from a villager that likely became infected from another human or a piglin or any other undead creature.

It was hard, but I had to end him after keeping him in my basement for so long. After a couple of years, his body began to decompose and I had to get him out of his misery.

I'm going around the world in search of a cure, my first option is to kill every infected creature across the three dimensions. I've been practicing for years and will not give up, maybe this will be my legacy… I have nothing better to do and nothing to lose.

The monsters come out at night, so it's the best time to go out and hunt them.

Last night I found a village just after sunset, the locals were nice and very hospitable, they gave me a place to settle for the night. I put my things down and got my equipment. I was extremely excited to test out my new diamond sword and wanted to see what the fuss was all about with the crossbows, so my bow got to rest a bit.

Anyways, it was all the same initially, just a skeleton here and a zombie there. There were a few zombie hordes. They've been getting out of control as of lately, so I had to be more cautious this time.

The village's iron golem helped a lot, those guys are great at combat. They know their limitations. Iron golems don't attack creepers because they're too slow to run before the green buggers explode, they don't even try to attack ghasts because they… Well, they fly. Iron golems don't even bother with magma cubes and slimes unless they attack first.

Anyways, the crossbow didn't help a lot, I was better off with the bow, so I took a little break in the middle of the night and went inside to get my bow.

I turned around for five seconds and everything went wrong! First I heard a zombie trying to break down my door, then spiders climbing up the wall and saw a bunch of skeletons outside. Brother, give me a break!

I just opened a hole on the roof and climbed out, killing the spiders on the roof, then I dealt with the zombie with an arrow as soon as it got in the house. I then had to go around the roof, shooting four skeletons at the same time while running around and crouching every few seconds so the arrows wouldn't hit me.

To make things worse, the golem attacked a zombie and launched it upwards. The thing almost landed on top of me and proceeded to bite my arm as soon as it recomposed. I split its head in half with my sword and took an arrow to the leg. I lost my rhythm and knew I had to change strategies. I jumped back down into the house and blocked the windows. I used the door as a funnel, so I only had to fight one monster at a time. I had a bit of a plan.

I was fighting a skeleton, until I saw this specific shade of green behind it, it was a creeper. It was all smooth sailing from there: I finished the skeleton, and as soon as the creeper came by I just waited a second or so before kicking it and immediately rolling behind the wall. The explosion was perfect, it killed almost everything around. I just had to kick a spider on the ground and we were done. I'm still very proud of this move, that's why I put so much detail in the narration. It's not like anyone's gonna read this.

Anyways, the rest of the night was fine, I guess. We fought a couple of monsters and then I killed the remaining creepers and spiders once the Sun came up while the undead burned in the Sun or went back underground. I went around the village making sure that nothing got destroyed and that no one died. Everyone was alright and the armorer gave me an iron helmet as a reward!

Oh, yeah, I don't wanna brag, but I killed an enderman, but it didn't have a pearl, so you're just going to have to trust me on this one.

Going back to the helmet. Dude, I never had time or the skills to make armor for myself, I couldn't express how grateful I was. One day I'll have a full set of armor and I'll be the best warrior in this land!

I said goodbye and went on my way to… Maybe another village, maybe find an ancient structure with some insane weapon. We will have to wait and see

But first I'll just sit here under a tree and sleep for a bit.

Dude, I really need a horse. It can take me to places while I sleep on top of it or something.

Ok, Alex out, for today.
