The Louds exit the woods.
"Hurry! Inside Vanzilla! Lynn Sr. yelled.
Once everyone was crowded inside Lynn Sr. shifted the gear in reverse and backed down the trail.
He turned the wheel hard to left and shifting the gear into drive, sped off.
They sped over the gravel at high speed while the kids struggled to fasten their seatbelts. Lori tried to buckle Lily in her car seat.
The van sped past the guard shack, startling Earl and Samantha, and turning right sped down the highway, leaving the Howling Forest in their exhaust.
Once they were a couple of miles away, Lynn Sr slowed the van down. The van was filled with loud breathing as the family gasped for breath.
"So much for having a fun day." Lisa said, crossing her arms in annoyance.
"Dude! Did you not hear that growl?" Lynn Jr. asked.
"And see that hulking shape? Luan added.
"No. I did not. I do not have eyes and ears unlike you." Lisa said sarcastically.
Everyone stared at Lisa, minus Lynn Sr who was focusing on the road.
"Besides, it was a bear." Lisa said matter of factly. "They can grow tall and theyre really loud.
"Im not so sure." Lynn Jr. said.
A couple of hours later the Louds pulled into the driveway.
Lynn Sr turned off the ignition and everyone piled out.
Lynn Sr. unlocked the door and everyone went inside. A blond girl suddenly sat up in the trunk.
The girl quickly clambered out through the back window.
She stood up and gazed at the two story teal house.
She grinned. A nasty, cruel grin. "You shouldn't have crossed me." she said as she bent down on all fours.
She walked down the driveway and peeked into the window at the side.
She saw the Louds sitting around their kitchen table.
Turning, Robyn disappeared into the siding.
