Guest Stars: Courage the Cowardly Dog, Muriel Bagge, and Eustace Bagge (Courage the Cowardly Dog)

. . . . .

One Summer Day, A pink Dog named Courage who lives with his owners Muriel and Eustace Bagge in the Middle of Nowhere has been making rounds on their farm. They are delighted by the birth of a newborn lamb, of course, Courage has experiences with the Supernatural nothing will prepare him for the supernatural straight from Native American Mythology.

This Is His Story

. . . . .

3:00 PM

It starts in the Middle of Nowhere as Courage was resting on the front of his Homestead Home. Then his Owners Muriel and Eustace came out of the house.

"Come on Courage," Muriel told her dog. "Oh, Isn't it nice that one of our sheep is gonna have a lamb soon?"

"Ehh, I would love me a leg of Lamb," Grumbled Eustace. But Muriel hit him with a rolling pin. "Ow! What did I do?!"

As they got in a truck, Eustace was having trouble starting it, "Stupid Truck! Start Driving!"

As Eustace shouted the engine began to run and the truck started moving. "Now that's more like it!"

4:30 PM

The Baggies were driving through their property in the Sage shrubland of Nowhere as Courage's owners were having a conversation.

"Hopefully this Lamb is important, been having too many attacks from those dang coyotes!" Eustace Grumbled as the farm had coyotes attacking the coyote. "I don't want to lose too many!"

Courage was relaxed until he saw a woman with black hair and tannish skin with a coat of a wolf over her body mumbling and growling walking by. "Huh?

"Eustace I never seen her around here!" Muriel asked her husband.

"Not interested," Eustace grumbled, not wanting to be involved. "She must be one of those Indians from those reservations nearby!"

Courage looked at the woman who stared at her with teeth baring, dull face, and eyes that didn't reflect causing the dog to whimper in fear.

. . . . .

In the lore of some Native American tribes, particularly the Navajo, the "skinwalker" is an evil witch that can shift into animal shape. Although generally believed to take the form of a wolf, coyote, crow, fox, or owl, it is said skinwalkers can take any animal shape they desire. Those who report having seen skinwalkers say they are slightly deformed in their animal state with dull and unreflective eyes — the opposite of a real animal. In human form, their eyes are said to shine with an inhuman animal glow.

. . . . .

Soon they stopped the Trcuk and walked to the pen's location. Then they hear strange voices like a radio messed up and eustace's mother calling.

"I thought I turned it off!" Eustace turned it on and off and stopped when he heard his Mother, Ma Bagge calling him.

"Eustace? What's going on?" Muriel asked him.

"I Don't know, but I thought I heard my mother!"Eustace replied.

They begin to walk to the Pen. Courage then notices the footprints first they are coyote Footprints then he notices a transition and they become human footprints he asks "What is this?"

Then they hear howls and yips of coyotes and the Sheep Bleating. As Eustace groans, "Darn Coyotes! Where are they?!"

"Oh, Eustace!" Muriel spotted a Coyote walking by a cliff.

"I got me Gun!" Eustace shouted as he got his rifle out and shot at the Coyote. The group arrived at where it was shot, but the body had disappeared. "What the?! Where'd he go?"

"This is Strange!" Muriel added.

Then they arrived at the pen the mother sheep was slaughtered, but it was more like how a human would butcher it than how animal would kill it, and no lamb in sight.

"Oh Dear me!" Muriel said sadly as they approach the body. "This isn't good, a rustler must of been here!"

"No, it was those Stupid Coyotes!" Eustace exclaimed. Then they hear the coyotes again, radio static, and Eustace's mother calling as he turns to his wife and dog. "Those darn coyotes are getting bolder! Back in the truck! You too Stupid Dog!"

They ran back to the Truck as fast as they could.

. . . . .

Once in animal form, the skinwalker possesses the attributes of the animal whose shape it takes. Skinwalkers are most feared for the power they are said to have to place curses on their victims. Some Native Americans believe that a skinwalker can use a person's spit, hair, clothing or shoes to put a curse on that person or to inhabit the person's mind and control his or her behavior. It is also believed that by locking eyes with its victim, the evil skinwalker can infiltrate the person's body, causing them to sicken and even die. According to legend, skinwalkers are very fast and almost impossible to catch. However, when an injured skinwalker resumes human form, his telltale wound will give him away.

. . . . .

6:40 PM

They were in the truck as the sun began to set as they drove down the road and Courage saw the strange woman with a wolf coat on a rocky cliff looking at them.

"Eustace up there!" Muriel pointed out to the Woman.

"What is going on here?" Courage asked himself.

. . . . .

7:50 PM

Then as night approached the Headlights of the Truck were on as they continued their way home until Muriel spotted the same woman walking across the road holding something as she shouted, "Eustace look out!"

"What's huh?-!" Eustace yelped as they screamed as they crashed and ran her over.

"Oh my gosh!" Muriel exclaimed in worry. They got out, but the woman had disappeared/

"Wh-what- what did I do?!" Eustace asked. Then they saw what was left of her was a blanket and a living lamb wrapped around it.

"It's all right," Muriel said reassuringly as she held the lamb.

Courage then spotted a coyote passing by as he knew this was no coyote and there was a connection with it and the woman.

Since that Night, The Bagges have been more careful in protecting their livestock as Courage researched behind this event. The Number of Coyote Attacks has decreased after this incident, but the strange noises can still be heard in the Middle of Nowhere. Is the Supernatural just Legends of Mythology, or do they live among us?

A shot of the Wolf Cloak Woman is seen on the Rocky Cliff looking down with baring teeth.
