To explain to those who might be confused, there was a small amount of talk on the Amourshipping Reddit a couple weeks back about the idea of doing an Amourshipping week starting on October 27th this year, aka today. It didn't get a lot of discussion, and no one in the Reddit or on the Amourshipping Discord really decided to make a big, dedicated event out of it, but I did submit some ideas for prompts that I liked and decided I would go ahead and write up some one-shots for them anyway.

Day 1 - Baked Goods

"This is going to be such a delicious feast!" May exclaimed.

"Careful there May. You don't want to get so excited that you drop the stuff we bought from the store." Her brother Max replied.

"Yeah, but I can't say I blame her. Not only do we have my brother cooking lunch today, but Brock and Cilan are cooking too, and Serena baked macarons for dessert!" Bonnie pointed out with joy.

A group consisting of Ash and all of his traveling companions from his journey in the Kanto region all the way to his journey in the Kalos region were getting ready to enjoy some lunch on their way to their next destination. Though Tracey was busy assisting Prof. Oak and couldn't join them.

The group of May, Max, Bonnie, and Iris were just returning to camp from the store after picking up a few extras for the group's meal. Including a few sides to add on to the aforementioned macarons Serena made.

"We're back!" Iris announced. "Oh good. You can set the groceries right here." Brock stated, gesturing to a small table they had set aside to keep those groceries.

After setting them down, Bonnie started playing with the Pokémon while Max checked something on his PokeNav and Iris decided to just sit down and unwind a bit until the food was ready. Meanwhile, May went over to see if she could help Dawn and Misty. Who were getting the tea prepared.

"Do you guys need a hand over here? Or should I go help set the table?"

"Thanks May, but we've got this taken care of. The table's fine too. Ash already took care of setting it up." Misty replied.

Giving a small snicker at the fact that Ash was the one who set the table, May whispered to the other two girls "Ash huh? So is the table a disaster then?"

Dawn whispered back to her saying "Actually it turned out really well. Which you'd think would be surprising, but considering who made the dessert that's going on that table….."

The 3 girls directed their gaze over to Serena as the Pokémon Performer was putting the refrigerated groceries into a wheeled mini-fridge the group had brought with them. The 3 of them gave a light giggle in acknowledgment that they all knew that Ash had feelings for Serena. And that it was mutual even if neither had confessed yet.

As if on cue, Serena called out "Hey Ash, it looks like the portable battery Clemont made for the mini-fridge ran out. Can you have Pikachu recharge it a bit?"

"Yeah. Sure thing." Ash replied as he and his trusty Pikachu went over to said battery.

"Okay Pikachu. Use Thunderbolt to give it some more juice. But don't use too much power. We don't want it to blow up." Ash instructed his partner as Serena giggled with a light "mm-hmm".

"Hey! I heard that!" Clemont spoke up as he was cutting the lettuce for the sandwiches.

Rubbing the back of his head, Ash replied "Sorry Clemont. Science might be amazing but we don't want the drinks to get warm. And your track record for inventions that don't explode is kinda…."

"Bad. It's kinda bad." Max finished the sentence Ash was too bashful to complete.

Resuming his cooking, Clemont stated "Just you watch. I'll figure out how to keep them stable eventually. The future is now thanks to science!"

"Cool. Let me know when the future where your inventions don't blow up gets here." Dawn replied.

Clemont gasped, offended at Dawn's comment as a number of people in the group tried, and largely failed, not to laugh at the coordinator's sass.

Trying to take advantage of the distraction, Clemont's Chespin snuck his way over to the baskets that contained the macarons Serena had baked.

He managed to find them, and once again he attempted to snatch them for himself, but little did he know that this time someone was watching him like a hawk. Quite literally.

"Lucha!" Ash's Hawlucha picked Chespin up off the ground before he could successfully steal any of the macarons. Chespin flailed around in protest for a bit before the group noticed his attempt at thievery.

"Chespin! How many times have I told you not to take all the macarons for yourself?" The grass Pokémon was scolded by his trainer.

"Yeah. I wish you would listen. I make those macarons for everyone." Serena scowled.

"And she works really hard on them." Ash added before walking over to his Hawlucha.

"Thanks for stopping Chespin Hawlucha. I knew it was a good idea to ask you to keep an eye on him." Ash praised his Pokémon.

"Ugh, you had to ask Hawlucha to keep an eye on Chespin?" Clemont asked with a groan of disappointment

"Sorry Clemont. But Serena had to make a lot of macarons to have enough for all of us. And I didn't want her efforts to go to waste." Ash replied nervously.

Serena gave a smile before walking towards the future Pokémon Master. "Thank you for that, Ash. And thank you too, Hawlucha."

"Lucha." The fighting/flying type stated in gratitude as its trainer did his signature nose scratch out of bashfulness that he only does for Serena.

"How did Ash get so lucky to find a girlfriend?" Brock grumbled to himself. "Don't worry Brock. I'm sure you'll find one eventually." Cilan attempted to console his fellow chef.

Once lunch was ready and everyone had finished digging in, it was time for the very much anticipated macarons.

"Yay! Serena's macarons are so yummy. I can't wait to try them with some of the stuff we bought at the store!" Bonnie exclaimed.

"Macaron add-ons coming right up." May stated as she brought out the chocolate syrup, mini-chocolate chips, sprinkles, mini-marshmallows, and other extras that they had bought from the store.

As everyone was enjoying their macarons, Cilan had just finished putting some mini-marshmallows on the chocolate syrup he had drizzled over one of his, before attempting to pass them and some of the sprinkles over to Ash.

Finishing swallowing the macaron he was eating, Ash replied "Thanks Cilan, but I'm ok."

Cilan, as well as a few other members of the group, were surprised by this as they knew from their travels with Ash that the young trainer was quite the fan of chocolate, marshmallows, and sprinkles being added to his pastries.

"But Ash, aren't these some of your favorites?" Cilan voiced his confusion.

"Well yeah. But I don't think they're needed here. Serena already makes delicious macarons as is." Ash answered, which caused Serena to start choking on the macaron she had in her mouth.

The Pokémon Performer drank some of her tea in order to wash down the macaron before being asked if she was ok.

"*cough cough* Yeah I'm ok. A piece of macaron just went down the wrong way." Serena said while blushing from Ash's compliment.

Sighing in relief, Ash replied "Ok. That's good to hear. Hm? Looks like you got a bit of macaron on your lip."

Ash reached for Serena's lip and used his finger to wipe off the bit of macaron. "There. Got it." Ash exclaimed as Serena's blush grew more intense

Serena resumed eating more macarons to try and calm down the redness in her face while Ash also continued eating more of the pastries. Oblivious to the effect he just had on Serena, and to the knowing smirks the other girls in the group were giving.
