Ch4

Percy sighed as he looked at Jason, Piper, and Leo. "Alright Jason come at me."

Jason charged at him with his golden sword. Not bad. Using Riptide he blocked the attack and the two exchanged blows. The son of Jupiter fought with a steely determination in his eyes as their blades clashed.

He could feel the air tense up around them, it crackled around Jason as the son of Jupiter tried to land a hit on him. Using Riptide he dodged the attack and stabbed Jason in the shoulder. He definitely doesn't have experience fighting one on one.

Jason winced and he took the opportunity to disarm him and point his sword at him. "Not bad."

The son of Jupiter picked up his sword. "Lets go again."

Jason nodded and picked up his sword. The two quickly exchanged blows, the air around them tensed up as the son of Jupiter came at him with all he had. Not bad but nothing special. It maybe because he was used to training with his older brothers but sparring against Jason didn't have the same edge to it.

He quickly and effortlessly blocked Jason's attacks and went on the offensive. Jason tried to block him but couldn't keep up with the strikes. Eventually he knocked the sword out of his hand and using his leg tripped him.

"Jason!" Piper screamed as she ran over to help him up.

He swore he saw the son of Jupiter roll his eyes as he got up. "I'm fine Piper."

"Alright you're next," he said pointing his sword at Piper.

Piper widened her eyes. "Me?"

"Yes you," he said incredulously. "You think I just let you here to watch Jason swing a sword around? I thought you weren't like those other Aphrodite girls."

Piper's face reddened. "F-Fine."

"Come on get your dagger out," he said.

"Good luck Piper," Jason said as he stepped to the side.

Gripping her dagger tightly Piper carefully eyed him, her legs shaking before deciding to charge at him. He easily disarmed her with a movement of his sword and kicked her down. "Come on try again."

Piper huffed her body shaking as she tried to stab him and again he disarmed her and knocked her to the ground. "Come on picture me like a girl who is talking to Jason."

He heard snickers from the campers who were watching and Piper's face reddened, Jason on the other hand looked away half embarrassed. She glared at him as she ran at him with all her strenght. He moved out her way as she tried to get a few stabs in but ended up hitting her with the but of Riptide.

"Don't let anger get the better of you," he said as Piper crumbled to the ground. "Alright Leo your turn."

Leo ran his hands through his hair. "Alright Aquaman I'll show you how a real alpha acts."

Oh boy. It took all his will power to not get annoyed by Leo's antics, it seemed that the son of Hephaestus was only concerned with flirting with woman.

Leo let lose a stream of flames at him, he dodged the attack and charged at him. Not bad but he isn't taking this seriously. He charged at Leo avoiding another stream of flame. The son of Hephaestus' eyes widened as he came up close to him and kicked him in the crotch.

The campers around them laughed as Leo let out a scream and fell to the ground covering his crotch. "Alright you three have some potential but you have to fight seriously and not care about superfluous things."

He shook his head as Leo got up and glared at him. "I bet your compensating for something Aquaman."

"Really? Is that why you bother girls so much?" He asked making Leo's face redden with anger. Clapping his hands he turned to the face everyone. "Alright lets practice some more all of you. Malcolm help me with some demonstrations."

"On it," Malcolm said as he ran up to his side.

"Good luck Malcolm!" Lou yelled causing the son of Athena's face to redden.

He had experience sparring with Malcolm so he was a perfect partner to show some sparring techniques. The son of Athena wasn't bad but could use some work. "Alright lets practice these techniques. Jason you'll spare with me, Piper you and Malcolm practice, Lou you and Leo will practice."

"Sweet! Practice with a pretty lady," Leo said with a grin.

"Lou if he tries anything don't be afraid to take him down," he said as Jason came up to him again.

"Ok," Lou said with a cheery grin.

With that he sparred with the son of Jupiter. Jason took it a little more seriously as their swords clashed. By the evening his body ached and the others were on the ground sore. "Alright get some rest we'll train some more tomorrow."

With a sigh he turned around and headed back to his cabin when he saw a familiar witch. "Hello Percy Jackson." Circe smiled at him. "You seem tired, need a recovery potion?"

"I'm fine for now. You doing ok here?"

Circe nodded and looked towards the lake. "Just helping out my siblings. I'm preparing Lou for her future quest, her going will greatly honor our mother."

He rubbed his head. "Yeah Lou seems very capable."

"As do you." Circe smiled at him. "I know you can guide this camp well."

His face reddened. "I hope so."

"Let me know if you need anything," Circe said. "Personally I never cared for Romans, so I'll prepare well in case things go south."

"Thanks," he said.

With that he quickly went to the lake and jumped in to clear his thoughts. The cool water pressed against him as he allowed it to wash the sweat and dust off him. I wonder what Reyna's doing? Wherever she is I hope she's ok. He still thought about her often, along with his immortal siblings.

Triton apparently wasn't allowed to have much contact with him while Chrysaor still gave him the occasional message. A part of him was a bit sad but at the same time he didn't want them to get into any trouble because of him. Something will happen soon I can feel it. Either way he would make sure the camp and the five demigods under his tutelage were prepared as they could get for the coming summer

Whatever happens I'll make sure the camp is safe.

Chrysaor easily found the hunters encampment. The guards immediately raised their bows but he raised his trident. "I'm here to see Zoe."

The hunters looked at each other but his favorite huntress immediately appeared. "Pirate boy? What brings thee here?" She looked shocked and judging from the bags beneath her eyes she hadn't slept in a while.

"We have to talk in private," he said.

Zoe met his gaze and nodded. "Come."

As he walked through the camp he noticed various hunters bandaged up. "The monsters have been a pain for you too huh?"

Zoe sighed. "They've been coming non stop," she said as they entered her tent. "So what brings you here?"

He met her gaze. "War is coming you can feel it. Soon it won't just be monsters after you."

Zoe frowned. "What do you mean?"

He met her gaze through his mask. "It isn't just monsters passing through, an old enemy may soon come after you and your sisters."

The air tensed as Zoe's posture turned rigid. "Doth thee speak of that man?" Her voice was low and her gaze turned dangerously violent.

"Orion," he said.

The moon in the room tensed up, Zoe's face paled her eyes betraying fear and anger. "That despicable man took down so many of mine sisters and cause Lady Artemis so much pain."

"He'll come sooner or later," he warned. "That is why I have a proposition for you."

Zoe frowned. "What?"

"I'll help you guys train and in return you help me defeat someone," he said.

"Who?" Zoe asked. "Don't tell me there is someone you cannot defeat?"

"Heracles," he said.

Zoe froze the fear in her eyes being replaced by anger. "What?"

He sighed. "The seven will have to cross into the old world and you know who guards it. You know more than anyone else how picky he can be. I can't take him alone. Are you in? Do you want to take your revenge?"

Zoe met his gaze. "Doth thou have a plan?"

"I have an idea. Do you recall the story of Andromeda?"

"That poor girl who was sacrificed to appease your father?" Zoe folded her arms. "What about her?"

He folded his arms. "She fought back with all she had, the chains had to be extra strong to hold her. Fortunately for us I can possibly have them remade. You see my father has been making replicas of those chains in the case of a potential conflict with a divine being."

His father was many things but he always had a few toys hidden in case of war.

Zoe frowned. "Can they really hold him? That man can break through most things and even fight gods. No mere chains can hold him"

"We only need to hold him long enough for the Argo to pass through the Strait of Gibraltar," he said as he met her gaze. "This could be your chance to get back at him. Are you in?"

Zoe looked at him calmly and nodded. "I am."
