"Her what?" Dot asked in shock. The group sat at lunch a few days later. Kippi had locked herself in at home. Dot had tried talking to her and calling her. But she was understandably upset and let no one into her room. So hearing Kevin tell her what happened in the hospital after Jug had dropped Dot off at home was more than shocking.

"Yep, it's true," Kevin assured her, seeming happy for some new gossip. "Kip just shut down and ran off."

"It's understandable. Her sister just shows off out of nowhere without any contact before that. I'd freak out too," Veronica said.

"So what about Edith?" Betty asked.

"She had to stay behind to deal with the paperwork and all. She told me the name of the motel she was staying at and gave me her number so I can hand it over to Kippi when I see her again. Who knows when that will be?"

Dot sighed. "I feel so bad for Kippi."

Jug put his arm around her shoulders. "I'm sure she will be fine, eventually. She just needs time to mourn. Maybe we should give her that space," he suggested. "There are more problems on the horizon anyway. Like Pop's," he said. "It's another win for the bad guys. No one was there. His entire staff quit. He says he's not sure how long he'll be able to keep the doors open—maybe not even a week."

"It's because of what happened to my dad. People are freaking out. And I gotta be honest, guys, I don't see myself going back any time soon," Archie admitted.

"Wait, I'm sorry, am I hearing acceptance? I'm not letting one psychopath with a gun dictate what happens to our place. Jug, you went crazy trying to save the drive-in. You too Dot," Betty chided.

"I can't take on any more social issues right now. My hands are full," Jug said.

"With your dad, of course. And he should be your priority. I'll take point on helping Pop Tate," Betty said.

"I'll help, too, Betty. Hey, anything to get me away from my parents, I'm in," Veronica chimed in.

"Another B and V team-up. They should really make a video game about you guys," Jug joked.

"I gotta jet. I'm off to meet my dad's court-appointed joke of a lawyer at the sheriff's station," Jug said as he got off the bench.

"I'm gonna come with you, Jug. I gotta drop some flyers off for Sheriff Keller," Archie said.

"Bye," Jug added.

"I'll help too," Dot told Betty. "I mean, I would rather help Kippi and Pop but if Kippi wants to be alone right now then I can't force myself into her house."

"Thank you," Betty smiled at her.

"I'm in too. How do we start?" Kevin asked.

"I'm not sure yet. But we'll figure something out. We have to. For Pop's?" Betty asked.

"For Pop's," the others agreed simultaniously.

After school, Dot went straight home. Her mother was already home from work that day. "Hey, mom."

"Hey, hun. How was school?" Octavia asked as she did the dishes, something she's been doing ever since finding out about Cleo's death. Something she often did when Pat first died.

Dot shrugged. "Not great, obviously. Pop might have to close down the Chock'lit Shoppe, so Betty, Veronica, Kevin, and I are trying to save it."

"Oh no. Are you serious?" Octavia asked calmly. Even though Dot could sense the outrage in her voice. "First the drive-in and now Pop's? This town is nothing like it used to be."

"Yeah," Dot said, hopping up on the kitchen counter. She grabbed an apple from the bowl and took a quick bite. "Hey mom," she said after a few seconds.

"Mmmh," Octavia hummed.

Dot sighed. "Did you know Kippi's big sister is back in town?" she asked. Octavia almost dropped the plate she was holding in the sink. Dot almost dropped her apple. "So you did know?" she gasped.

"Dorothy, please!" Octavia said, wiping her hands on a dishrag. She sighed. "I didn't know she was coming here now. I just knew she was thinking of reconnecting. Cleo told me she had been calling. And it's not our business anyway. We have enough to worry about."

"It is so our business. Kippi is my best friend, and now her gran is dead. What would have happened had Edith never called? She would have to live in foster care. Who knows where she would have ended up?" Dot asked.

"But she's here now. So she can take care of Kippi. Cleo knew what she was doing," Octavia said. "It wasn't my right to tell Kippi the truth and Cleo was going to do it the night of the jubilee, but then-" she went on before promptly stopping.

Dot jumped off the counter and engulfed her mother in a hug. "I'm sorry, but, I just can't believe Kippi's sister is back in town," she said as she pulled away. Octavia wiped a tear off her face. "What's her deal anyway? Where was she this whole time? How come she never contacted Kippi?"

Octavia sighed. "Edith, she, uh, she was such a troubled child. Can you blame her really? Come her sixteenth birthday, she decides she wants out of Riverdale for good. Cleo got her an apartment in Greendale; she paid her monthly dues until Edy got a job and could add to the payment herself," she explained."After she graduated from high school, she went on to art school and is graduating next year."

"Greendale? So this whole time she was just across the river?" Dot asked.

"She was afraid Kippi wouldn't except her because she left," Octavia replied.

"So is she any kind of good?" Dot asked.

Her mother nodded. "She's changed so much and she's doing very well in school."

"Okay, then I guess I should give her a chance," Dot said.

Edith knocked on the door to her sister's bedroom. "Kippi? Will you open up please? We're gonna have to talk eventually," she said. She waited a minute before sighing and turning on her heel. Suddenly the lock of the door clicked, and the door opened up.

Kippi's eyes were red from crying and she hadn't changed her clothes. "Why are you still here?" she asked, her voice raspy.

Edith sighed before walking closer to Kippi. "I have to plan gran's funeral. Talk to the mortician, get a grave stone made, prepare the house for the service afterwards. You won't get rid of me so soon."

"You know that's not what I mean. What I mean is, what's the plan after Gran's funeral?" Kippi asked. "Are you gonna come back? Pretend to be the awesome big sister that ever-so-lovingly took her poor little sister in."

"I know you hate me for leaving you behind. But you had gran; you had your friends that loved you. And even if I despise her with all my heart, I know that deep down Rebecca loved you too," Edith said.

"You don't call her 'mom'?" Kippi asked.

"I'll call her 'mom' again when she deserves such a title. She's not my mother. I have my eyes from her, and that's just about it," Edith replied matter-of-factly.

"So are you gonna move here?" Kippi asked.

"Or you can move to Greendale with me. It's just across the Sweetwater River; you could see your friends as much as you like. I have a car I can take you. Although I could also move here and go to school in Greendale. I don't know yet. But I'll figure it out," Edith replied. "I don't want you to leave everything behind. I just want to get to know you better. And I want you to get to know me and realize that I had my reasons for doing what I did."

"And what were those reasons? Why did you leave me and Gran behind?" Kippi asked.

Edith sighed once more. "You wouldn't understand. You were so young when it happened. Your friends and classmates were too. I mean, yeah, they knew what had happened, but they didn't know details. My friends, my classmates, they did know, and they avoided me like I would kill them as well. They teased me and bullied me. I wanted to start fresh."

Kippi snorted. "So you moved over one town?"

"I'm not saying life was perfect there, but it was better and as we grew up and gran told me about you and what you were up to," she sighed. "I didn't want to endager your future and then you two moved," she went on. "I was there when it happened. I merely got out of there with a few scratches. And yet dad was dead, Shane was dead. And I could have done something. But I didn't. And I blame myself for that every day."

"Well don't," Kippi demanded.

Edith looked at her confused. "What do you mean?"

"You were fourteen, for Christ's sake! Mom had killed Eva, Dad, and Shane. So you hid, what else were you supposed to do?" Kippi replied.

"I thought you would blame me after you heard it," Edith said.

"I'm done with pointing the finger at anyone but mom. Because that's all it is. It was and still is mom's fault," Kippi told her.

Suddenly, Kippi's eyes went wide. "She won't be released for the funeral, will she?" she asked frantically.

"Not if I can help it. Gran would turn in her unburied casket if mom would show up at her funeral," Edith replied calmly.

Kippi quickly calmed down. "I'm sorry. It's just everything is just getting to me."

"It's okay. I understand," Edith said, walking up to her.

Kippi pulled her into a hug. "I'm glad you're here. Please don't leave me again."

"I won't." Edith said, rubbing Kippi's back.

"Thank you," Kippi said. "Now," she added as they pulled apart. "Before you do any of the funeral stuff for Gran. We have a mission, a very important one none the less."

"What is it?" Edith asked curiously.

"Dot and Betty have been texting me all day. After what happened to Mr. Andrews, people are scared, they won't to Pop's anymore. All of Pop's staff quit on him, and he might have to shut down," Kippi explained.

"Oh hell no," Edith said. "Not on my watch."

The next day, Dot, Betty, Veronica, and Kevin sat in the Blue and Gold's office. Jug and Betty's mission to talk to Mayor McCoy and make Pop's into a landmark tanked completely. "We can't let the terrorists win. We need to host an event at Pop's that reminds the town of simpler times. Like a throwback to when the shoppe first opened its doors," Betty demanded.

"Betty, I like a good milkshake as much as any girl, and Pop's puts Serendipity 3's to shame. But why this hill to die on?" Veronica asked.

"Orange freezes with my mom and Polly after ballet. Chicken noodle soup with my dad after ice skating; Grilled cheeses with Archie on the last day of summer vacation. It's where I met you for the first time, V," Betty explained, then turned to Kevin. "It's where I met you for the first time. And it's where I had my first kiss with Teddy."

Dot smiled at the memories. "Countless nights of my mom and dad sitting there with me. I drank my chocolate shake and demanded to take a sip of my dad's coffee. He tried talking me out of it but gave in eventually. I spit it out immediately; that's how gross it was," she recounted. Betty smiled at her.

"Yeah, and all those endless nights of writing," Kippi said, standing in the door. Edith was right at her side.

"Kippi," Dot smiled at her.

"Hey you guys," she greeted.

"How are you doing?" Veronica asked.

Kippi sighed. "I'm still heartbroken. But I wanna save Pop's."

"Me too. All of those nights I drank hot chocolate with my dad or snagged some fries off of Shane's plate when he wasn't looking," she shook her head, laughing under her breath. "I can't lose that."

"Well, come on in you guys. The more help we get the better," Betty beamed.

Kippi sat down next to Kevin. The two immediately huddled up together.

"So, what's the plan for the event?" Edith asked.

"Well, I was thinking of hauling in the Vixens and maybe the Pussycats for a performance," Betty suggested.

"Dot could sing a song too," Kevin suggested.

"Would you?" Betty asked immediately.

"Sure. Anything I can do to help," Dot replied eagerly.

"Great," Betty said, smiling when a knock sounded at the door.

"Hey. Veronica. May I speak to you?" Mr. Lodge asked.

"Daddy?" Veronica asked, confused

"Daddy?" the others repeated simultaniously.

Veronica left the room with her dad, leaving the others behind. "Uh, what the hell was that?" Dot asked when the two were gone.

"Veronica's dad is trying to win her over again," Betty explained.

Dot rolled her eyes. "She's not actually going for it, is she?"

"Doesn't look like it so far. I think she's truly done with them both," Betty replied.

Dot nodded. Of course, no kid should hate their parent, but after what these two had done in the previous months, they'd made their bed. Now they would have to lie in it.

The bell rang a few minutes later and Dot, Kippi, Kevin and Betty went to their next class. Edith said goodbye, promising to get a head start on planning the event. As the three walked to class the conversation about Jug and FP picked up again.

"I feel so bad. I should be helping Jug but I'm just being terrible at it lately," Dot lamented.

"You have a lot on your plate. Your dad is out of jail and now Pop's might be closing down. I think those are enough reasons to not be able to help," Betty assured her.

The foursome arrived in the classroom and took their seats. "I tried getting my mom to be FP's attourney, but she keeps saying she's too personally invested and might ruin it."

"Maybe she's just, I don't know how to say it, a little distraught that your dad is back as well. I'm not saying he's something you need to be distraught over but it was a very sudden blow for the both of you," Kippi chipped in.

"Yeah, maybe," Dot said as the second bell rang and Principal Weatherbee entered the classroom. Dot raised an eyebrow, looking over at Betty and Kippi. Both shrugged equally as confused.

"May I have everyone's attention?" Weatherbee said. The usual chit chat in the class died down. "I have some tragic news to share"

"Oh God, what now?" Dot whispered to Betty.

"Ms. Grundy, who was a teacher here last semester, was found murdered in her Greendale home last night," he went on. Dot's mouth dropped open. It wasn't like Ms. Grundy was her favourite teacher or that she was particularly sad about it—not after what she had done to Archie she wasn't, but that's another murder in the span of a few weeks. "I know some of you were students of hers, and that this news will be difficult to process," Prinicpal Weatherbee spoke up again. "But I have to ask you to please resume your learning as best as possible. I also have to inform you that if you know anything about this tragedy or if you have any clues as to who could have done it, please report it to Sheriff Keller's office immediately. Now, thank you for your time, students, Mr. Hudson; please continue on in your lesson," he went on. As soon as he left the room, the murmurs started up again.

Octavia was home early again when she came home from school. "Mom, did you hear?" Dot immediately asked, skipping the 'Hello' and 'How was your day?'.

Octavia raised her eyebrows. "Hear what?"

"You remember Ms. Grundy, right?" Dot asked.

"The music teacher that all of a sudden packed her bags and left town? Yeah, why?" Octavia asked.

"Prinicpal Weatherbee informed us that she was murdered last night. Mom, murdered. First Fred gets shot, and then Ms. Grundy is actually murdered. That's not normal, is it?" Dot asked.

"Murdered? What happened?" Octavia asked.

"We don't know exactly. Betty called me, saying that she and Archie are trying to get Alice to get them the autopsy report. But this isn't normal, mom," Dot replied.

"No, it's not. But, Dorothy, please promise me you won't get involved in this again," Octavia pleaded.

Dot sighed. "Mom, how can I not? What if this guy comes after me or you next? We need to find out who this is. And then there's still this thing with FP. I really don't understand why you won't just be his attorney."

"Dottie, I've told you before, I am too invested in this. If I make just one mistake, he could get locked up for a long time. I could never forgive myself for that," Octavia told her.

Dot threw her head in her neck, sighing. "Fine. Will you at least come to the event we want to host at Pop's?" she asked. "I'll sing a song."

Octavia put her hands on Dot's cheecks. "Dot, I think you and I we both know I would come either way. Pop's is the last place that should close down."

Dot smiled at her. "Thanks, mom," she said as her phone rang. "That's Betty, one sec," she said, pressing the accept button. "Hey, Bets. What's up?" she asked. As she turned back around, her face was twisted in anger. "Okay, thanks, Betty," she said angrily, then hung up the phone.

"What is it now?" Octavia asked.

"Guess who just bought the Chock'lit Shoppe? And guess who won't help FP by asking for leniancy?" Dot gloomed. Octavia sighed defeated.

The next day Dot, Jug, and Betty sat at Pop's, eating their apparent last meal there. "So, why'd you do it, Pop? Did they make you an offer you couldn't refuse?" Jug asked.

"Who's buying it? Do you even know?" Betty added.

"It shames me to say. ChugMo," Pop replied.

Jug sighed. "No," Dot whined.

"The liquor store chain?" Betty asked.

"Hey, could I make a request of you, Pop? For a last supper?" Jug asked.

"Anything you want," Pop said.

"Actually, it's not for me; it's for my dad. He's facing 20 years of that weird meatloaf that they serve prisoners. So, barring an eleventh-hour miracle, I was kind of hoping for his last meal in Riverdale that you could make him his favorite," Jug explained.

"Fried chicken, cornbread, onion rings, and an orange freeze, if memory serves," Pop said.

"It's very Rain Man of you, Pop," Jug complimented.

"Been doing this a long time. Thought I'd be doing it until the day I die," the man said with a sad look on his face.

Dot and Betty looked at each other with a somewhat outraged expression. Both knew something had to be done.

"This is unacceptable," Betty said.

"What?" Jug asked.

"Just everything. Pop, have you officially sold the diner?" Betty asked.

"The contract's being drawn up," Pop replied.

"Do not sign it. Okay? Do not give up. Either of you," Betty demanded. "I can fix this, all right? I will fix this. Okay? Bye," she went on, rushing out the door.

Dot slapped her hands on her thighs. "Pop, please pack this up for me and make sure Jug doesn't eat it. I'm leaving too."

"What are you gonna do?" Jug asked.

Dot gave him a kiss. "I am going to help your dad and have a word with my mom," she said, smirking as she pushed the door open with her back.

"Good afternoon, mother, I need to have a word with you," Dot demanded as she stormed into her mom's office.

"I'm sorry, I tried stopping her," Octavia's secritary said.

Octavia raised her hand. "It's alright. I'll handle it from here. Thank you, Janine," she said. Janine closed the door as Octavia motioned for Dot to sit down. "Alright. Talk."

"You can't really tell me the only reason you won't be the attourney for FP is because you're afraid you'll mess up," Dot beckoned.

"It is. I haven't been back in the game for long, okay?" she said. The woman sighed. "I just recently completely messed one case up. I almost sent a completely innocent man to jail if it hadn't been for the help of a friend of mine."

Dot put her hand over her mom's. "Mom, you messed up, almost big time maybe, yeah, but you still caught it, and I know what you can do. You are a great lawyer. I mean, have you met that dumbass that is currently on FP's case?"

Octavia snorted. "I have, and I don't understand how he's still being hired by anyone."

"So why won't you do it? You're best friends with FP or were, whatever's the case. He messed up, but he deserves a second chance as well," Dot told her.

Octavia bit her lip. "Tell you what. I'll think about it, okay?"

Dot sighed. "I guess it's better than nothing."

The next day, Dot and Jug were waiting at the court hearing. FP was still sitting alone at his table. "Dad, what's wrong?" Jug asked, leaning over to him.

"I don't know where my piece of crap attourney is," FP said.

"That's one way to insult your old best friend," Octavia said, sitting down next to him.

"Mom," Dot said, a gleam in her eyes. "You came."

"Well, you know, your poor attourney was waylaid and a new one was needed. So I thought, Why not me?"

Dot wrapped her arms around her mom and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you."

"Don't thank me yet. The other attourney might have been a dumbass, but he was right about one thing. I don't see any loopholes here," Octavia said as the judge opened up the hearing. He went through several witnesses. It didn't look good until Cheryl was called to the stand.

"Ms. Blossom, you may proceed with your statement," the judge said.

"Your Honor, I speak for myself and my mother when I say we forgive FP Jones for the part he played in covering up my brother's murder, and we humbly ask the court for leniency. FP's guilt has been blown out of proportion to satisfy what my father's suicide denied us. Closure," Cheryl said.

Dot's mouth almost fell open. "Where did that come from? What did Betty say to her?" she whispered to Jug. He shrugged.

"As much as I sympathize, I can't ignore the quality of Mr. Jones' crimes. There were no extenuating circumstances," the judge said.

"My father threatened him," Cheryl quickly said. Dot raised an eyebrow. "I overheard them talking in Daddy's study. Daddy said he would hurt Jughead if FP didn't comply. Is that extenuating enough?".

The judge seemed to consider for a second. "In light of these revelations, I suggest that we take a step back and reevaluate certain aspects of the case. At which time, we will revisit the sentencing," he said. "Adjourned."

The crowd dispersed, and Jug gave his father a hug. "Is that a win?" FP asked.

"It's a delay. So, yeah," Jug replied.

"Thank you so much, mom," Dot whispered to Octavia.

"Whatever Betty did, tell her it worked. Also tell her to pray that it never sees the light of day," Octavia whispered back with an unreadable expression. Dot bit the inside of her cheek, nodding as she gathered her things.

Elswhere at Pop's the vixens, Kevin and Teddy were busy cleaning the diner when Betty received a call from Dot. "Yes! That's awesome. Alright, I'll see you soon. Yeah, bye." Betty said, practically jumping up and down as she hung up the phone.

"I'm guessing Cheryl pulled through?" Veronica asked.

"They'll revisit the sentence, and Octavia has promised to continue being FP's attourney," Betty explained.

"So they won?" Teddy asked, putting his arms around Betty's waist.

"Basically," Betty replied, smiling. That smile quickly faltered upon spotting Kippi and Edith getting out of Edith's car. Neither of them looked happy as they walked up to the group. "What's wrong?"

Kippi threw herself against the wall of the diner. "My social worker just came to visit us. I'm getting put into foster care.

"What? But what about Edith?" Kevin asked.

"I wanted to get custody of her. I officially applied, but they said they only looked into it. Said I'm not qualified. That I don't have a steady income and could generally not take care of her," Edith replied, shaking her head.

"There will be a court hearing. But for the time being," Kippi said.

"Bullshit," Veronica chipped in. "You're over eighteen, currently going to college; you have your own apartment and get enough money to pay your bills. Where is this coming from?"

Edith shrugged. "I don't know. All I know is that they're right about the steady income. I got that from my grandmother every month. Now that she's dead, I'll have to find a job, and I don't know if I'm gonna do that here or in Greendale. I have no plan whatsoever yet."

"I could use some help here." Pop spoke up from the door. "I have no staff anymore. Of course, Betty and some of her classmates have taken up a job here, but I still need other help. So if you need a job."

"Are you serious?" Edith asked. "It's not much, but," Pop said before Edith cut him off with a hug.

"I'll take it. Thank you so much."

"And there's a lot of apartments that are vacant in Riverdale. You could move here," Kevin suggested.

"Yeah, and it's not far to your school either. And Kippi could stay at Riverdale High," Betty added.

"I'm still going to be in foster care until the hearing. And who knows if they'll allow me to be with her?" Kippi asked.

"I can help with the foster care," Octavia spoke up as she, Dot, and Jug walked up to the diner. Kippi raised an eyebrow. "I am a registered foster parent and have spoken to your social worker and she has approved you living with us for the time being," she explained as Kippi jumped into her arms.

"Mom, really?" Dot asked.

"How come you didn't do that for me?" Jug asked.

"Oh, honey, I wanted to but your social worker kind of went over my head and by the time I applied for you to stay with us she had already found your current family for you," Octavia explained. Jug gave her an understanding look. "And don't worry, Edith. I'll help you get Kippi. And you can see her as much as you want until then," she continued "Okay, so now that FP is almost saved and Kippi too, can we get on with saving Pop's?"

The group cheered. "Let's get on with it," Betty yelled.

The high mood quickly got a dent when no one showed up by nightfall. Dot sighed, putting her head onto Jug's shoulder. Edith brought out a milkshake for Octavia. "Thank you," the woman said.

"No one's here. No one's coming," Betty said worriedly.

"It's still early, okay?" Jug said.

Alice walked into the diner. "Mom. What, did you come to gloat?" Betty asked.

"Oh, don't be so cynical, Elizabeth. I came to write my next story over one last root beer float. I'm calling it 'Requiem for Pop's'. Can I get a quote, dear?" Alice asked as she sat down at Octavia's booth.

"You're a fiend, Mother, but this is one obituary that you're not gonna write." Betty said as Alice opened up her laptop.

And in fact, shortly after, more and more people filed in. Dot and the others got busy working. Dot only shortly heard Josie arguing with Betty. She wasn't sure if Betty had ever had the chance to talk to Josie about all of this, but nontheless, Josie, Melody and Cheryl began their performance shortly after.

Right after Dot walked up behind them as the crowd cheered. "Thank you! Now give it up for our good friend and Riverdale's very own Dorothy Cahill and her rendition of Candyman by Christina Aguilera," Josie announced. The crowd cheered once more.

Dot started performing, and every now and then she winked at Jug or waved at her mom and aunt. "Thank you again! Enjoy the rest of your night and another big thanks for coming here and joining us in keeping Pop's open. You rock!" she yelled when she was done.

"Dorothy Cahill, you did it; you saved Pop's," Jug said, giving her a kiss.

"Hardly. Betty did the heavy lifting," Dot said, watching Betty and Teddy cuddle a little further away at the counter.

"But you helped, and you sang incedibly, and I absolutely love you," Jug said. Dot pulled the corner of her mouth up into a smirk as she gave Jug another kiss.

Octavia watched the two smiling. At that point Andy had arrived at Pop's as well and was seated next to her.

"She looks so happy," he noted.

"Yeah and she is. And I'm glad about that. It's been a long time," Octavia said. Andy smiled at her. "Hey," she said. "Thank you for convincing me to help FP. I might have never taken up another case if it weren't for you," she went on, giving him a nudge with her shoulder.

"I couldn't let that happen. You're too good at your job to just not pick it up again," Andy said.

"Speaking of jobs," Alice chimed in as she waved her phone around the crowd. Octavia secretly rolled her eyes as Alice continued talking. "Have you found a new one yet, Andreas?"

"Not yet, Alice, but I'm working on it," Andy said.

"And you're working on another exposé, I see." Octavia said. Alice simply shrugged. Octavia shook her head in amusement.

A few minutes later, Pop called everyone's attention. "I gotta put her on the spot. It's thanks to this young lady here that Pop's gets to stay open tonight, tomorrow As long as you folks keep coming," he announced. The crowd cheered and Betty gave Teddy a hug as she smiled around. Dot gave her a quick thumbs up.

"Thanks, also, to the Lodge family for a donation they just made that gives us a little cushion to weather any storm that might come up," Pop added. And despite the fact that Pop's was saved, and FP and Kippi were too, Dot couldn't help but think that they were not nearly out of the worst yet.
