Once Eliza had left, Emma and Jake had gone to their room after the loop was reset around them.
"Well, that was something," said Jake.
"Yeah," said Emma who was laying down on the bed looking up at the rusted ceiling of the room.
"Are you thinking about what Eliza said before she left?" asked Jake while sitting down next to her.
"I'm just surprised I never thought of it," said Emma.
"Are kids something you want to have one day?" asked Jake.
"Yes, what about you?" asked Emma.
"I would love to be a dad," said Jake.
"But we can't be parents as long as we are in the time loop since we'll just be reset back to the day before," said Emma.
"And being outside the loop will be too dangerous," she said.
"Maybe we should talk with Miss. Peregrine tomorrow and see what she can tell us about this," said Jake.
"Do you think she would really know?" asked Emma.
"I'm sure she's at least heard of similar situations so let's not give up, we do live in a crazy world after all," said Jake with a smile.
"Thanks, Jake," said Emma before kissing him.
"You're welcome, now how about we get some sleep before we wake up in a few hours?" asked Jake.
"Sounds great to me," said Emma. While they were going to bed, Miss. Peregrine was in her room which was the captain's quarters.
"Guess it's about time I talk with Jake and Emma, I just hope for the best with them and the decision they make," said Miss. Peregrine while looking out a window at the dark sea.
