With all of the Sailor Senshi gathered together again, Rei found herself hoping that they could get to the next person who had a Rainbow Crystal inside them before Zoisite managed to turn them into a youma. She didn't know if there was a way to get the Rainbow Crystals out of them without turning them into youma, but as Nephrite showed them the face of the next person they were going to need to protect, Rei found herself hoping that they could.

If they could manage to do something like that, it would be a lot of help, both to them and to the boy they were going to have to protect from the Dark Kingdom in general and probably Zoisite in particular.

Now that they knew what the boy with the next Rainbow Crystal looked like, Ami was making sure to keep an eye out for him as well as she could, even while she was on her way to school the way she was this morning. The sound of running feet coming up from behind her drew Ami's attention, and she turned to see the face of the very boy that she and the rest of the Sailor Senshi had been looking for ever since Nephrite had managed to find him.

"It's you, Urawa-kun," Ami found herself saying, but his attention seemed focused on something else.

"Mizuno-san, wait," Urawa-kun said, looking almost like he wanted to say something else.

The sound of something heavy crashing to the ground drew her attention, and Ami nearly jumped back in surprise. The sight of an I-beam – of all things – impaled through the vehicle that had been parked just a few steps down the path where she had been headed. The sounds of the construction workers all shouting – asking Ami if she was all right, after what had nearly happened to her – distracted Ami for a long moment, and after she'd managed to assure all of them that she was, she found that Urawa-kun had left while she was talking to them.

She didn't know why Urawa-kun had done that, but since she and the other Sailor Senshi were going to be protecting him, Ami knew that she'd at least have the chance to ask him then.

Looking around for Usagi, Trevor quickly found her and Mako-san looking up at the posted test scores, though Trevor found himself honestly more worried about the boy Nephrite-san had showed them all. Whoever he was, Trevor hadn't managed to spot him, and Trevor had found himself growing more and more worried as time went on. The more time passed, the more chances there were for Zoisite to find the boy they were looking for before them, to take the Rainbow Crystal inside him and turn him into a youma.

When Ami-san came over to where the three of them had been standing, Trevor caught sight of the look on her face, and hoped that it meant something good.

"Wow, Ami-chan, someone actually managed to get a higher score than you!" Usagi exclaimed, as Ami-san came over to stand among the three of them.

"Yeah, I guess there always is someone better," Ami-san said, though it was clear from the look on her face that that hadn't been what she really wanted to say. Still, once she'd checked to make sure that no one was paying too much attention to them, she leaned in closer. "He's a new transfer student by the name of Ryo Urawa, and he's also the boy with the next Rainbow Crystal."

"Wah, the next Rainbow Crystal?!" Usagi exclaimed, though she did it quietly enough that no one was likely to have heard her.

"So, at least we know who we're going to be protecting," Mako-san said, eyes narrowing slightly.

Looking around again, making sure that none of their fellow students were paying too much attention to what the four of them were saying, Trevor allowed himself to relax when he saw that no one was. He didn't know how any of their fellow students would react to what they were planning, and everything that Luna-sensei had said gave Trevor the impression that he shouldn't try to find out. Not that he wanted to, since finding out about what he, Usagi, and the other Sailor Senshi were all trying to do, it was more than likely to cause a panic.

More than anything else, Trevor wanted to avoid anything like that.

As the four of them left the hall, Trevor kept an eye out for Urawa-san, even as he noticed Ami-san doing the same.

When the four of them all made their way up to the roof, Mako-san was the first to spot the boy standing in front of the fence.

"Urawa-kun!" Ami-san called, almost before Mako-san had finished speaking.

"Mizuno-san," Urawa-san exclaimed, sounding more than a little startled.

"Don't worry, Urawa-kun," Mako-san said, making her way over to where Urawa-san was standing. "We're here to protect you."

"Thank you," Urawa-san said, bowing deeply to the four of them; however, when Urawa-san caught sight of him – him in particular – a strange, almost sad look passed over his face. "All of you, I'm glad to have you here with me."

Even as the four of them made their way down from the roof, Trevor couldn't help wondering what Urawa-san had seen when the pair of them had looked at each other; he couldn't help wondering what the look on the other boy's face had meant.

Ami-san had contacted her, letting Rei know that she, Usagi, and Trevor-kohai had managed to find the boy who held the next Rainbow Crystal; the next person they were going to have to protect from Zoisite. And potentially Kunzite, if he ever chose to leave the Dark Kingdom and start attacking them. Or hunting for the Rainbow Crystals, which would amount to pretty much the same thing.

"So, it looks like the next person we're going to have to protect is someone Ami-chan knows," she said, turning to Mamoru-kun as the pair of them settled down with the pair of Rainbow Crystals that they had managed to recover from those two innocent people who had been attacked by Zoisite.

"Really?" Mamoru-kun asked. "How do you think that happened?"

"I don't know, but we have to protect him," Rei said. "I just hope we can keep him from being turned into a youma, too."

"Yeah," Mamoru-kun said, though his attention seemed more focused on the two Rainbow Crystals they'd managed to collect.

She wondered why that was, but since Mamoru-kun didn't seem to want to talk about it, Rei wasn't going to ask.

"Okay, so we need to find a place to keep you safe, Urawa-kun," Usagi said, folding her arms as she considered just where they might be able to do something like that.

They were keeping the two Rainbow Crystals along with Nephrite and Jadeite at Rei-chan's shrine, so they couldn't really bring Urawa-kun there, since there would be too much of a chance for Zoisite to find them if they tried something like that.

"You're not going to be able to do that," Urawa-kun said, trying to smile at them, but still looking sad enough that Usagi found wishing she could do something to make him feel better. "I'm going to be transformed into a monster, and you're not going to be able to stop it. And, after that…"

Urawa-kun turned that same, sad look on Trevor-nii, and Usagi found herself feeling more than a little unsettled by everything that was going on.

"What do you mean by that, Urawa-kun?" she asked.

Before anyone else could say anything, though, the sound of Zoisite's laughter drew all of their attention.

"Well, I suppose I should thank you children for delivering the youma and the schoolboy to me."

Grabbing her communicator, Usagi signaled to Rei-chan and Mamoru-baka, and then tried her best to guide Urawa-kun away from where Zoisite was floating. Urawa-kun looked sad and worried, staring at Usagi like she shouldn't have been bothering to try to help him or anything, but that was silly and she was going to yell at him once they'd managed to save him from what Zoisite was going to try doing to him.

Zoisite tried to attack them, but Rei-chan managed to drive him back with her Fire Soul.

Usagi leaped backwards, dragging Urawa-kun along with her. Looking up at Trevor-nii, who had managed to transform into Golden Kamen while Zoisite was distracted, Usagi smiled and told him to protect Urawa-kun, before getting out of sight as best as she could so that she would be able to transform.

Finding himself behind the shield that Golden Kamen – Trevor Tsukino – had raised to protect the both of them, Ryo Urawa found that he couldn't look away from his eyes. They were still a warm, soft brown, not the cold amber they would be the next time that he and Tsukino-san met, and Ryo couldn't help feeling the awful weight of the fact that Tsukino-san wouldn't be able to save him. And that he wouldn't be able to save Tsukino-san when the time came.

No one would be able to save Tsukino-san when the time came.

The energy that Zoisite was using pierced right through the barrier that Tsukino-san had raised, unlike any of the physical attacks that Tsukino-san had managed to block with it before, and even as Tsukino-san's worried gaze turned toward him and Ryo stopped being able to hear anything but his own screaming, he couldn't think of anything but the cold, amber eyes that would meet his own the next time he and Tsukino-san saw each other…

Throwing himself backwards, just before what looked like a giant pair of gardening shears nearly came down on his neck, Trevor tensed as he heard Zoisite laughing.

"Quick thinking, schoolboy," Zoisite mocked. "But you won't be able to escape for long. Bunboo! Capture the schoolboy! Subdue him and bring him to the Dark Kingdom!"

Throwing himself out of the way as Urawa-san – currently trapped as the youma named Bunboo – charged at him again, Trevor braced himself for a moment, before meeting Usagi's eyes for a long moment. The pair of them nodded at each other, and Trevor set himself to holding Urawa-san's attention for long enough for his younger sister to prepare herself to heal him. It reminded Trevor more than a little of when he'd tried to bait Nephrite-san into making an attack on him.

And, the fact that one of Nephrite-san's friends was the one attacking him made the experience just that much more surreal.

Extending his cane quickly, Trevor used it to leap over Urawa-san's head, even as Mamoru-sempai threw his own red roses at Urawa-san's feet. Sighing, Trevor landed back on his feet just as Ami-san brought down another fog barrier to disorient Urawa-san and protect them. Looking for Zoisite, even as he heard the sound of Usagi healing Urawa-san, Trevor was forced to stop in his tracks as Zoisite teleported away in a whirling swirl of sakura petals.

Sighing softly, knowing that Zoisite would return as soon as the next person holding a Rainbow Crystal was discovered, Trevor turned back to where Urawa-san was laying.

He was just starting to stand up again, after having fallen to the ground under the weight of what had happened to him, and Trevor sighed in relief this time. They might not have been able to save Zoisite this time, but they would have at least four more chances. Since there were four more people who had Rainbow Crystals inside them – at least if they ended up coming in all the colors of the rainbow, the way the name seemed to suggest – Zoisite would show up at least four more times.

Trevor didn't know when or where Kunzite might show up, but since he was also one of Nephrite-san's friends, he could only hope that he and the Sailor Senshi would have the chance to save Kunzite, someday.

After everything that had happened, having Urawa-kun just go and transfer to another school felt… Well, it felt weird, really, since it was clear that Urawa-kun liked Ami-chan, but he was still leaving for a new school.

"So, you're transferring to a different school again?" Mako-chan asked.

"Yeah," Urawa-kun said, shyly rubbing the back of his head. "It's because of my father's work. It really can't be helped."

Usagi sighed. "And here we'd all just started becoming friends, too."

As Ami-chan and Urawa-kun said their own goodbyes, Usagi found herself smiling as Ami-chan gave Urawa-kun a picture of herself to take with him. They really did look cute together, it was just too bad that Urawa-kun had to leave again. Still, as the train carrying Urawa-kun left the station, Usagi smiled at Trevor-nii and saw him smiling back.

Sure, Urawa-kun had looked at Trevor-nii in a strange, sad kind of way, but that had been when he'd been worried about Zoisite turning him into a youma; Usagi was sure that, the next time they met, things would turn out happier.
