Ellie finds out that her father and his family have been hunting vampires for centuries. But what is so special about her? Yeah she is a hunter too now, but why was David so desperate on turn her into his side?

(Boston City)

"Ellie… can you hear me?" was Bill's voice again on her ear com.

Ellie was on the roof of an old building looking at a warehouse in one of the Boston docks districts in Boston. After being back home for a few weeks, they found a man that works for some vampire looking victim for them. After Ellie makes the guy talk he tells her that the group of vampires he was doing the jobs with were having some kind of business with a criminal gang tonight in the port. So Ellie and Bill go there to catch the vampires there to make them talk and tell her who was the vampire boss in charge here in Boston.

"Ellie… I know that you don't want to talk about it… but are you sure that you want us to do this alone? I mean… you know without-" Bill started but was interrupted quickly by a piss off Ellie.

"I don't… want to hear anything about it… so don't even say his name." she said while looking at the building. "We have worked alone before, so Just give me the information you have on this place and let us concentrate on this."

"Okay no problem… let's see what I have." said Bill while looking at his computer inside his van. "The owner of this warehouse is a man called Rogers Wilson. He has a trade business here in Boston. His company owns a ship called the Liberty queen that he uses for his export business around the world." he said while looking at the information in the monitor. "As much as I can see, this man is clean… he does not even have a bad parking ticket."

"Yeah… those are the worst… so that doesn't mean anything." said Ellie. "This place has a lot of security guards for just a trade company, and with the information we get about the business happening here tonight I bet that we're in the right place."

"Well, the information can be wrong… maybe it's just regular criminals' business… and doesn't have anything to do with the vampire… maybe we can call the local police."

"Are you kidding? You know that they're looking for us after what happened in Jackson. Besides, I have a feeling that something will happen here that involves the vampire. The police have been reporting to the news about some people disappearing in the last two months. So I'm sure that a vampire boss has he next here, we just need to find them."

"Okay… I will check a little more about the man company… maybe I can…" he stops as soon he hear Ellie making a shhhh sound on the com.

"A car and a van have arrived at the main gate… Those must be the ones we're waiting for. So I will go down to the warehouse so keep you eyes open." said Ellie, while lowering her binoculars and put it in her small bag. She put on her night vision goggles and started to move away from the edge of the roof.

"Be careful… this could be nothing… but if the vampires are involved I don't want you to take an unnecessary risk." he said before moving to another console on the van.

"I will close the communication for now… so send the drone. I need eyes around the building." said Ellie while taking out a grab hook pistol from her bag.

"On it…"

Ellie shoots to hook and hit the other building roof that is closer to the warehouse. Soon it was secure, she grabbed a small hook and jumped to the cable and slid down to the other building. Soon Ellie lands on the roof, she moves quickly on it and continues her route toward the warehouse. She jumps through buildings until she gets to the roof of the warehouse. From there she saw a guard looking toward the main gate of the warehouse, so she moved slowly until she got behind him. Ellie moves one of her hands and grabs the man's head while moving her other arm around his neck. The man starts to struggle to get free, but Ellie holds him until the man loses consciousness. Ellie put the man down on the roof and started to check him. He is not a vampire… Fuck. That does not surprise her, they always use normal people to guard them, so that does not mean anything. They can still evolve on this. So she quickly moved to one of the rooftop glass windows and looked down. She couldn't see much inside, but she did notice some people down there. So Ellie opened the glass window and started to get inside.

Inside the warehouse, the rolling door that gives access to the interior opens and the car and the black van go inside. The two men that were guarding the door close it as soon as the two vehicles get inside. The two vehicles stop in the middle of the warehouse before another two men start to walk toward them and stop in front of them with guns in hand. After a minute, two men get out of the car with guns in hand too and look at the other guards there. After that the back door of the car opens and a big man in a white suit gets out of it.

"Ah… Mr. Macon… You're late…" said a man in a black suit while walking toward them. "I hope that you bring me what I asked for… my associates are a little impatient about our little business here." said the man with a serious tone.

The two bodyguards move beside the big man as they walk to the front of the car to meet the man in black. After that two men got out of the van and stayed beside it with guns on their side as the situation was getting a little intense.

The man in white was getting concerned on the way this started, but business is business and this was a good one. "Sorry for the delay, but it is not easy to move this kind of merchandise around the city… if you know what I mean." said the man in the white suit as he looked at his host. "You know Mr Wilson, I've been doing all kinds of business here and I know a lot of people here in the city, but what makes me curious is why you ask for this kind of merchandise and why so many? This kind of business is not common here in Boston.

"Well, the thing is that I don't contact you to ask questions, so it is not your business. My associates are going to pay a lot of money for this so you don't need to know anything," said Mr. Wilson as he moved closer. "Now let's go to business and see what you bring us… I hope they're good and in the way I ask them."

The man in the white suit raises one hand to stop him before he gets closer. "Not so fast… I got into a lot of trouble for this and since this is the first time I did this kind of business with you I need to see the money first…" said the man before looking around the place. He can see a few guards there, but nothing they can handle if things go wrong. His people control part of the drug business around Boston. So he needs to be sure that this is not a trap from the cops or they are trying to fool them.

The man moves closer to him and shows him a sarcastic smile. "Do you think that we're not good for it? If we wanted to trick you… I will not call you to meet here. But if that is in you mind and you try to break our deal I can assure you that you and all your men are not going to get out of here alive."

Up in the ceiling, Ellie moves into a cat walk plank and looks for a good place to hide and watch what they're doing. Outside Bill lunch his drone that was equipped with a thermal vision camera that can detect the heat from people's bodies. Vampires don't emanate much of that heat on their bodies so it is easy to distinguish them from a normal person. As the drone moves closer to the warehouse, Bill starts to look at the image the thing sent. He starts to scan first the guard from outside, but all of them seem to be humans. But that doesn't mean that they don't work for a vampire clan. After a few minutes, Bill moves the drone closer to the building and starts to check the inside.

Inside the building the two men start to get intense. "I didn't mean anything bad, but you must understand that money is our business. And since this is our first time, I will take the money in advance."

The other man looked at his guard that was getting their gun ready. "Do you think that those men are going to be enough to stop us if we decide to take the merchandise and kill you all?"

The man laughed a little. "You may try, but those men are not the only ones I bring here with me.. If I don't call my people outside in 2 minutes all of them will come here and make this translation a real mess. Also if you think that killing me will help you here, the van is wired up with explosives and if you or any of your men try something, all these places will blow up in a second. So it will be better if we all calm down and finish this without any more delay. Also you don't want a war with us and bring more attention from the cops."

The man looked at him with intense eyes. Yes he can kill them all if he wanted, but he knows that the people he is working with are not going to like that or enter into a war with the criminal organization here in Boston. "Okay… if you want the money in advance… that is fine with me, but if you merchandise is not as good as I asked for, a war will be the last thing you worry about." The man in black turned around and moved one of his hands to indicate to one of his men to bring the money. A minute later a man came walking from the warehouse office with a suitcase in his hand. The man walked to a pile of crates behind his boss and put the suitcase on top of it. "Here is you money… 5 million as you asked for the first transaction." Soon the big man moved closer, the man with the suitcase opened and showed him the money in cash. "Hope that you do not want to count it too… we don't have all night for this."

The big man looked at the money inside. "That will not be necessary… I will trust that all is in there." he moves his hand and the two men from the van walk to the back of it. "Now… let's finish this is getting late…" said the big man before closing the suitcase and indicating to one of his men to grab it. The two business men start walking toward the van while one of the big man bodyguards grabs the suitcase and walks toward the car. He opens the trunk and put it inside.

Ellie was watching the translation that looked like a normal drug deal to her, but this has not been all that it is. "Bill… do you have something on the one that has come here? This looks like a normal drug deal to me… but something telling that is more than that." she said in a lower tone.

"The drone is not showing anything, all I can see is that all the people in there are humans, so no vampires." he said while watching his monitor. "I checked the plates from the car and van but nothing yet."

Ellie looks down and watches the two men as they make their way toward the back of the van. She can't hear what they said as she was too high and out of hearing range. But she still has a bad feeling about all this. "This does not make sense Bill… the information that Juan gets for us about the vampire will have a transaction here looks authentic… I don't think he will lie to us after we save his sister."

"I thrust Juan… all the information he got for us was authentic… so I don't think this one will be any different."

Yeah I know, but why send us here if they're not vampires? What if the person who he get the information from lies to him? He told us that some vampires were going to buy something important here, so where are they?." said Ellie while moving from her hiding place so she could see the back of the van.

"I don't know… but all this starts to look bad for us… I feel that this could be a trap… is not from the vampires it could be from the cops."

"Fuck… I hope this is not all a waste of time. The last thing we need is to attract the police's attention." Ellie said, frustrated. "Just keep you eyes open… and let me know if you see something that indicates that some vampires will come here. In the meantime I will see what all this is about." Ellie moved to a better position and looked at the man that was opening the back doors of the van.

One of the men opened the back doors of the van and looked inside. "Get them out… now!" he said to a person that was inside. In a minute someone with his head cover stepped from the back of the van with the help from the man inside. One by one young teens were moving out of the back of the van and moved away from it. Ellie keeps watching as they look like teens moving out. There were not only boys, but girls too. They were lined up in front of the two business men. There were 10 in total… six girls and four boys all with their head cover and their hands tie up. That started to make Ellie feel sick, this was not a drug transaction it looks like human traffic. She is a full Vampire hunter now, she is not a cop any more, but seeing people like them and what they do especially to kids make her question her current profession. As she got closer, she could hear them now.

"As you can see… we honor our part of the deal. Here you have the young teens you asked for and I think that some of them are still virgins… I bet you boss will be pleased with them." he ordered one of his men to remove the cover from their head so the man could see their faces.

"Now stay still while you are being inspected… you know what will happen if any of you try something or even say something." said the man behind them.

The man looked at the teens with pleased eyes. Their eyes were still covered, but he could still see their scared faces. "That will be for my employer to decide…" said Mr Wilson while moving closer to the teens to check them out. "This is only part of what we order? When can you bring the rest?" he said before turning his head toward the big man. "The deal was for the 10 teens now, but we need the other 40 for next week."

"Next week? The deal was the teens now and the rest in three weeks. Is not easy to get so many in just one week… the police will be over us if we do that. You must understand that to make you demand we will need more time," said the man in the white suit. Then the man moves close to one of the girls that was 16 years old and grabs her shin. "I don't know what you are going to do with them, but that girl is the best of the lot. She is a virgin too and came from a good family too. I bet you boss will be pleased. You will never be able to get anything like this from some else. I can guarantee the purity of most of the merchandise," he said with a smile. "If you give us more time I can add 5 more like her to the lot."

Ellie can't believe what those men are talking about. They talk about those kids like they were nothing and she can't take it any more… Even if this is something the police need to handle, she will not let this happen. She needs to do something fast if she wants to save those kids. Ellie moves her hand and activates her earpiece. "They're traffic with kids Bill… those bastards. I don't care if they're not vampires, I will not let those kids be taken." said Ellie while taking her gun out. But then she remembered that her guns were loaded with ammunition for hunting vampires, not regular humans. Shit!

"Ellie… this is not our job any more… even if this is bad… We need to let the local police handle this. I will make an anonymous call, just don't do anything stupid."

"They will be too late to stop this, the deal is almost over… We were cops once, we can't let this happen… you know that... they're just kids," Ellie cut the communication before jumping down from her hiding place. She landed on the ground behind the two men. Ellie stood up and looked at the two men before they turned around and looked at her. "Hello there… I don't want to interrupt you, but you bastards didn't give me any choice." she said before looking at the guard that was now moving closer with guns in hands.

The two men look at her with surprise eyes. "Who the fuck are you?" said the man in black.

"Are you with the police?" said the other one.

"The police?… Did I look that bad?" she said sarcastically. "No, I just happened to be walking around the piers and saw you guys here. I thought that all of you were maybe doing something illegal, so I decided to drop in and see what this is all about." Ellie looks at the teens on the other side of the two men. "Man, I don't get how people can get so lower… Kids? really?"

The man in black was going to say something, but the other one spoke first. "I don't know or care who you think you're, but you just made a big mistake… There are no heroes in this city, but if you want to be one. We can arrange a funeral for you since you like to wear black dresses…" he said before looking at his men. "Boys I don't know who this bitch is but you can get rid of her…" he orders and his men raise their guns and point at her.

Bill moved the drone closer to one of the windows so he could see inside. Then he saw Ellie and the men inside pointing guns at her. "Fuck… girl… while you always have to do things the wrong way… I just wish that Mr. Miller will be here to keep you out of trouble… shit!"

Ellie raises her hand as she moves forward to the two men. "Hold it for a minute… I want to make a deal with you…" she said while looking at the men around her. "If all of you surrender and stay calm until the cops get here… I can guarantee you safety if not the you don't give me any choice but to kill you all." she said before hear a few of the men laugh.

The man in the white suit moved a little back as his two bodyguards covered him. "I don't why you decided to interrupt our business here… but if you think that you will get out of here alive you're mistaken." said the man in the black suit. As he said that, more of his men come out from different places in the warehouse with their guns ready.

Ellie just lowered her head and shook her head. "Look… I don't like to kill hum-" she stops before revealing too much. "I don't like to kill people, so just let the kids go… and maybe some of you will have the chance to get out of here alive."

The man in the white suit started to laugh. "What are you waiting for boys… just kill the bitch, so we can finish our business here." he said before moving behind his men.

"You hear the man… but don't use your guns here… I don't want you to damage my merchandise or alert the people around and call the cops." The men lower their weapons and start to get out knives and some kind of electric batons. The ones closer to Ellie start to move toward her, while the other way behind just keeps their guns pointing at her for cover.

Ellie smiles at the man coming to her. "Thanks for making that choice, for me. I need some exercises." Ellie moves her hands and moves back her black coat revealing two long knives. "This way is more fun." Two of the men move closer and attack her with their knives, but Ellie moves quickly and blocks one of them. Then move to the side and kick the other one in his chest before stabbing the other on the shoulder and legs in a fast move. As more men move closer to her Ellie starts to fight them to dispatch them as quickly as she can.

Mr Wilson quickly noticed her fighting skills and remembered that one of his men had encountered a girl like that before. She was asking around about the vampires, so that meant trouble for him. He quickly ordered his men to attack her as well before turning to the big man. "I will give you an extra million if you kill her." said the man with a scary tone. Then he turned to the men holding the teens. "You two get the kids back inside the van… I'm leaving."

"Hey… you can't take off like that, especially not with my van," said the man in the white suit.

"I already paid you for them and the extra million will cover the van…" he said while helping the two men push the kids back inside.

"Don't tell me you're scared of that young woman? But for an extra million, I will be happy to kill her for you."

The man in the black suit looked back and saw how the young woman was taking care of the men that were attacking her. "Just make sure to kill her and I will tell my boss to give you more time for the next delivery."

"That sounds good to me…" said the other man before turning around and looking at the man close to him. "Call the rest of the men outside in here and not more knife fight, just shot out that fucking ninja bitch down."

As soon as he said that, his men raised their guns and started shooting at her. Ellie quickly moved one of the men she was fighting in front of her and let him take the bullets before jumping to the side to dodge the rest of them. Ellie quickly moves behind some crates and takes a few small throws knives out and waits for the men to move closer. Ellie took a quick look at the van and saw the kids being forced back inside. They're making a run for it and she can't let that happen. More bullets hit the crate where she was hiding forcing her to go down.

"If you think that I will let you escape with these kids… you're mistaken…" she said to herself before she hear the sound of a glass window being broken and Bill drone getting inside. The drone shot two smoke grenades toward the men that were closer to Ellie before moving away. "Thanks… Bill." she said before moving out of her hiding place and started throwing her knife toward the men. She hit the two that were closer to her and knocked them out before starting running toward the van. She has been in some situations like this before, but thinking about what David said to her when he captured her is eating her mind and keeping her from focusing on her mission. As she moved through the smoke she saw a shadow in front of her. Ellie thought that it was one of the men that were attacking her, but not, it was him. It has been a year since She killed David and she still sees him in her dreams and sometimes when she is awake. Ellie stops, takes her katana out and points it at him. But before she could do something the shadow disappear.

"We could have something together… You're connected with us whether you want to or not. So why do you continue to deny you destiny." said a voice in the shadows of the smoke.

Ellie tries to focus on the present and ignores the voice, but she can't. "I'm a hunter… like all my family before me…" she said with a furious tone. "My destiny is to kill all your kind and I will not rest until all the vampires are gone."

"That is something that never will happen… we're been around for centuries and no one will change that." said the voice before fading away. As Ellie was distracted by that, she didn't notice that more men came closer to her and started shooting. When one of the bullets hits her on the shoulder, it makes her get out of her trance. Soon Ellie turned around, a few more bullets hit her on the chest sending her to the ground, making her lose her katana.

The two men that shot at her move closer and point their guns at her head. "You little show is over… bitch… now you will pay for getting your nose into our business." The two men were going to shoot her but the drone came back and passed closer to their head causing the two men to dodge it. They turn their sigh from Ellie and look up. "What the hell is that?"

"Is a fucking drone… just shot it down." said one of the men. As they start to shoot at Bill's drone. Ellie opens her eyes and quickly moves up with two knives in hand. She stabs one of the men on the neck before moving to the other one and stabs him on the chest. As she said before. She doesn't like to kill humans but tonight she will make an exception. Soon the men drop dead to the floor, she hear the van engine start and start to drive away.

"No you don't…" Ellie runs toward the van but at that moment the warehouse door goes open and two more vehicles go inside. The drivers of the new coming vehicle let the van pass them, then block the entrance before Ellie has the chance to get close to it. A few men start to get out of the SUV with guns in hand and start to shoot at Ellie. She quickly moved toward a few more crates that were closer and covered herself.

"Keep shooting until you kill her…" yells the big man before running towards his car and going inside. "Get me out of here before the cops show up…" he said to the driver. "The rest of our men will handle the bitch… now Go!"

The van was gone and Ellie was furious. But then she notices the man in the white suit as he is trying to get away too. She already has let escape the van with the kids inside, but if she catches their boss. He will tell her where they take them. Ellie opens her coat and searches for more knives, but notices that she is out of them. Ellie remembered her two flash bombs that she has not used yet and smiled. She quickly takes them out and throws one toward the men in the entrance. Soon the bombs exploded, and the men that were shooting at her go blind by the light, Ellie ran toward the big man car that was starting to get away. Ellie throws the other bomb toward the car and it explodes in the front window causing the driver to get out of control and hit one of the columns of the building. Soon Ellie gets closer, she opens the back door of the car and grabs the big man from the back seat by his shirt and pulls him out of the car. Ellie pushes him toward the side of the car and goes close to his face. "Where do you think you are going, you fuck sick bastard?"

"Who the hell are you?" he said with a scary tone.

Ellie moved her katana that she picked up on her way to the car and put it on the man's neck. "Now you're going to tell me where they take those kids… or I will cut you head up."

"I don't know… this is the first time I do business with them."

"I have no time to waste, so start talking or my sword is going to be the last thing you will see." Ellie pressed the katana more on his neck making him bleed. "Now tell me where they are taking the-" she stops when she hear the police sirens outside and gets closer. At that moment some of the men from the entrance recover from the bomb and start running toward her with guns in hand. Yeah she can kill them all, but that will take more time and she doesn't need the cops to know that she was here. They are already looking for her, she can't add this to the list of charges.

"Ellie the cops are here… you need to get out of there… now!" She hear Bill on her com.

She knows that they need to go even if she does not want to. "You're lucky that I need to go now, but this is not over. If something happens to those kids, be sure that I will come for you… and then you will not be so lucky." she said before removing the Katana and hit the man on the face before starting to run away. The men started to shoot at her, but Ellie was fast and ran toward the back of the building without getting hit again. Ellie opens her com again and talks to Bill. "I'm getting out through the back door of the warehouse… pick me up there."

"Got it…" Bill started his van as he saw a few police cars go through the main gate and stop at the entrance of the warehouse. They get out of their cars and start to yell at the people inside, but they were received by gunshots. In the end, those people were not vampires, but that didn't mean that the one that got away was not working with them. The police can handle the one inside. Bill drives the van to the back of the warehouse without the police noticing him and picks up Ellie.

"I lost the kids… Bill," she said sadly as soon she got into the van and Bill drove away.

"I can see that, but this is not our job any more. I know this sounds bad, but we better leave this to the local police… they will find the kids." he said while driving out of the piers and away from the place. He saw more police cars going toward the warehouse and a helicopter too. They were lucky that the cops didn't see them. He was mad at Ellie because she could die there, even if she was trying to help those kids. She can't take that kind of risk alone. He really hoped that Joel was still with them. "What the hell happened there… I told you to get out and…" he started before looking toward her. "Shit you get hit?"

Ellie was mad too, she has killed a lot of vampires and the men that work for them. She can't believe that those simple criminals almost killed her and got away with the kids. "Is nothing Bill… I will be fine. What we need to do is find a way to rescue those kids…"

"Ellie… we're supposed to be looking for the vampires… and if we get involved in that kidnapping they will find out that we're here after them. I know that sounds horrible and is not that I do not want to help those kids… but for now it is better if the police handle that." he said with a sad tone. "What we need now is to get back to our hideout and attend you wounds."

Ellie turned her head toward him. "You don't understand… we can't abandon those kids. They're selling them for something and even if this is not a vampire thing we need to do something." she said, a little irritated.

Bill looked at her, but continued driving. They come back to Boston because they have some information about a new vampire clan here, but so far they have not found any proof of that. They're been hiding well, but if those kidnapping has to do with them they can use it to find them and rescue the kids in the process. But Bill was right in something, if the vampire finds out that they're there, they probably move to another city or worse they will be hunting them.

"It's not like I don't want to help them… but we need to think about our mission here." he started, but Ellie's looks didn't change. "Okay, okay… I will check the video from the drone as soon as we get into our hideout and we attend to that wound. Maybe we can find something there that will help."

"Bill, we need to move now on them, you know that if we don't find them soon… those kids are as good as dead."

"I will do what I can… I will call Doc and Juan and see if they can find anything. But you need to rest and get you wound attended. Besides, we need to get prepared first and get normal guns if we are going to rescue those kids from normal criminals."

Ellie does not want to waste time, but Bill is right. They don't know anything about those men and all the weapons they have are for hunting vampires, not regular criminals. Yes, they're vampire hunters and they aren't supposed to go after normal criminals, but this is something different. Vampire or not she is not going to let those men hurt those kids.
