Chapter 18: Operation Emergency Wedding! (Part 1)

It was a beautiful day in the town of BubbleTucky. Everyone lived their daily routines peacefully. What not many knew was that something beautiful was about to happen. A great plan was approaching and many preparations were being made in secret. For many others, it was a normal day. In fact, we can see that Goby was working on his computer from his house. It seems that there were certain days that he could work from there. And that was one of those days. After sending emails and digital plans, he finally managed to finish his daily shift and noticed that someone entered his house.

"Hi, dear!" It was his beloved fiancée Deema Wahler. She was wearing her business uniform. It seems she had finished her day too.

"Hey, Deema…How was your day?" Goby said before preparing some things on the dining room table. It seems like the two of them had a little date at the house. Having a snack together. Something simple.

"Well, you'll like to know that I'm two weeks into my promotion. I am now a member of the Executive Council!" She said excitedly.

"Wow! That is incredible! It's a great position!" Goby congratulated her.

"Yes...That implies that I will receive a large increase in my salary...And with that...we will be able to move forward with our commitment" Deema remembered about their plan to save money to be able to have the dream wedding.

"Deema...I hope you are not overloading yourself with work because of this...You know we can take the time necessary. There is no need to rush things" Goby said, noting that she might be working too hard to recover the lost money.

"I know. But I can't ignore the fact that we could have gotten married soon if it weren't for me and my foolish decisions" Deema said sadly. It's obvious that she was blaming herself. Her fiancé simply caressed one of her cheeks to make her look him in the eyes.

"That is now behind...You already faced the consequences with courage...It is no use continuing to complain about it. We can only move forward. Also, it doesn't matter if the wedding was delayed. The wedding is going to happen for sure. We will be together for the rest of our lives...with or without a wedding..." Goby smiled at her. That smile was enough to calm the blonde girl's nerves and guilty feelings.

"Hehe…Thanks, Goby….You really always know what to say when I feel like this...I think that's one of the many reasons why I love you" Deema said with a tender voice.

"Just one of them…." Goby raised an eyebrow flirtatiously.

"There are too many reasons to love you" She played his own game. They both shortened the distance between them and both gave each other a loving both knew that, as long as they were together, they could overcome the obstacles that life threw at them. What neither of them know is that their friends have something prepared.

At the home of the new Gordon-Gentilella family, the other guppies gathered to execute their latest plan. The famous "Operation Emergency Wedding" started a few days ago. They were gathered in the living room discussing the preparations

"Alright, guys. We have almost everything ready. In a matter of days, the day will come. Neither objective G nor objective D know about all this we are planning and we want to keep it that way if we really want to surprise them" Gil explained as if it was military or tactical planning or something like that.

"Objective G and D? Why does he talk like that?" Oona asked Molly in her ear.

"Shhh…Play along. It's fun to see him so focused...and it's cute" Molly whispered at her. She was happy to see that, even though her husband is an adult, he still has that childish and fun soul.

"Very good. This will be what we will do. Molly, Oona and Zooli will be in charge of distracting Deema and taking her to the meeting point...Nonny, Urchin and I will take care of Goby and take him to the meeting point too. But remember, we must be in contact because we cannot arrive at the same time" Gil established the role of each of his friends. They had worked hard for that day and had to do it meticulously.

"Guys, this is one of the biggest plans we've ever made. Do you think everything will turn out well?" Urchin asked curiously.

"If we stick to the plan...And if the others do too...There is nothing to worry about. We do this for Goby and Deema. They have been through a lot in the last few days" Zooli commented confidently.

"Very good. Come on, guppies!" Gil said excitedly. Everything indicated that the final details were in place. All we had to do was wait for the day.

A few days later, the moment arrived. The guppies went to their respective positions. Molly, Oona and Zooli decided to visit their friend Deema for a "friendly meeting". However, the girls had better plans in mind. And for that, they had to convince her to go with them.

"Wait...what did you just say?" Deema asked them confusedly.

"We want to take you to a place where they rent wedding dresses. We think it would be a good idea for us to start looking for those details before your wedding" Molly explained their proposal.

"(sigh) I don't know, girls...After the incident with Trevor, my bail payment and Goby's medical expenses...I don't think the wedding will be anytime soon. Why waste time on that now? It will take more than a year for him and I to plan the wedding again" Deema commented that pessimistically. It was very strange coming from our beloved drama queen.

"Well...Anyway, the wedding is going to happen sooner or later...We think it would be good to start looking for options now. Don't you believe it?" Oona sounded very convincing.

"Plus, it will be a girls' outing! We are going to have fun without a doubt. Does the fun Deema refuse to have a good time with her best friends?" Zooli asked with a smirk. Our golden-curled guppy smiled back.

"Do you know anything, girls? I've been so tense these days...an outing with you sounds like a great plan...Very well...Where are we going?" Deema was convinced by her friends. She smiled like before.

"Molly found a place where we can go to see wedding dresses. We'll all go in her car" The Asian girl answered.

"Do not lose more time. Let's go" Molly ordered. All the girls prepared to go out with the fiancée. Molly would be the driver, since let's remember that the blonde guppy was not allowed to drive until her legal punishment was over. Before driving, the leader of the guppies texted her husband to give her the signal that they were already at the meeting point. The pieces were falling into place.

Shortly after the girls left the town, the boys did the same. They went to visit Goby to have some "man time." However, they decided to give the fiancé a different idea.

"Let's see if I understand...Do you want us to go for a walk outside of BubbleTucky?" Goby asked with his raised eyebrow.

"We think it would be a good idea for us to go out and get some fresh air" Gil said with a curious smile.

"It would be a good idea to get away from the daily routine. It must be tiring just being at home and in the office constantly" Urchin commented.

"Also, let's not forget your last incident...Excessive stress was the trigger for your appendicitis to worsen...So, we believe that spending time out of the ordinary would be best for you. It's been weeks since you were able to leave the hospital" Nonny explained seriously. The dark blue haired boy analyzed his friends' words and decided to listen to their words.

"I think you guys are right. A little moment away from the city sounds like a good idea" Goby finally agreed with their idea.

"Perfect! We'll go in my car. Come on guys!" Gil said excitedly. The boys were going to go in the blue-haired boy's car. That's where the young officer texted his wife about what they were doing. That would be another sign.

The plan was going well. They both managed to get the couple out of the city and went to different points to prevent them from meeting. We will focus on the girl group. They went to a place very far from the city, where they rented wedding dresses. The blonde tried on several dresses of different styles until she found the ideal one. Deema's wedding dress consisted of a long white dress that was quite comfortable and fresh. The dress fit her personality, it was a dress for warm places. The other girls also changed their clothes. They put on elegant dresses to accompany her.

"Hey, why did you change your clothes?" Deema asked curiously.

"Oh! We haven't told you. We wanted to do a photo shoot with you. You as a bride and we as bridesmaids. At least we'll have the photos" Molly expressed their idea.

"We think a little photo session would make you feel better" Zooli added.

"Hmmm…Hehehe….You know very well that I love photo sessions" The blonde guppy admitted.

"The girls and I chose the ideal place" Oona said happily. They paid the rental of the wedding dress and immediately left the store to go to a place unknown to the blonde.

Deema couldn't help her impulse of curiosity and asked her friends about the place where the photos would be taken. However, they refused to give her details. Which made her ask herself more questions. They were starting to go to a completely new place. It was a completely beautiful beach. Full of tropical palm trees everywhere. The sand was completely white and the sea had a natural intense blue color. It was a completely different beach than the one the guppies had gone to before. The girls were entering the beach and Deema was shocked to see the beautiful tropical paradise.

"Oh, wow! This place is beautiful! I've never been here! And what will we do first? Photos by the palm trees? Photos posing in the sand?" Deema asked a lot of questions very excitedly. Molly, Oona and Zooli looked at each other and smiled. Everything went just as they had planned. Just at that moment, they noticed the presence of many people closer.

"SURPRISE!" Many people shouted happily. They were all people she knew. Friends, family and even... relatives of her fiancé?

"Wait...what are you all doing here?" Deema was very confused.

"My dear Deema!" It was her mom. Her dad, Dylan and Daniel appeared and hugged her.

"Mom? Dad? Guys? What are you all doing here?" The extravagant guppy asked.

"It seems like our older sister doesn't know anything, huh?" Dylan smirked a bit.

"Deema...my friend...They are all here...We are all here for your special day..." Molly said with a tender smile.

"My…My…My special…day?" The fiancée asked with doubt.

"That's how it is. Deema...Today will be your wedding!" The pink-haired guppy finally revealed their plan.

"Oh…Cool…." Deema said that unimportantly. But it took her only a few seconds to process what her best friend was saying. Hearing that, she opened her eyes in shock "W-W-WHAT?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! IT IS NOT A JOKE?!" She asked dramatically.

"This is not a joke. Everything is ready for the ceremony to take place" Zooli answered.

"It just can't be?! It isn't true?! But...How is it possible?! Everything is so beautiful and...and...Impossible...Goby and I couldn't do this now...How...?" She was very surprised. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. She saw how on the beach there were chairs and an altar under an arch for the wedding ceremony. Deema knew that both she and Goby did not have enough money to have their wedding at that time.

"This has been our plan. We, along with the Wahler and Imani families, along with your close friends, have all put part of our budgets to invest in your wedding. We knew you couldn't marry Goby yet because of several incidents. So we guppies have decided to give you a helping hand" Oona explained all their enormous plans.

"We work hard to keep all of this a secret. But it seems that everyone was willing to help a Bubble Guppy" Dylan commented.

"I can't believe it...Everything is so sudden...But...how come they were able to cover all the big expenses?" Deema was shocked.
"Maybe I have the answer, Miss Wahler"

"WHAT?! Mr. Moon?! What the hell is my boss doing here?!" The surprises for Deema did not end. She was lucky not to have had several heart attacks from so many surprises in a short time.

"Your friends told me everything that happened to you in the last few days. I found out that you had to cancel your wedding plans due to financial problems. So they asked me for financial help. I really doubted whether I should help my best employee... Until they told me that you confronted Trevor and that thanks to you, he was imprisoned... (sigh) Trevor also used to blackmail me and threatened to reveal sensitive information such as keys and passwords to my bank accounts and those of my wife. Furthermore, he threatened my family's life if I didn't pay him. But thanks to you, I have been freed from years of extortion. When I found out, I knew I had to return the favor...And today I did it by financing part of this celebration" Mr. Moon explained his reasons for helping her.

"But boss...This is too much...You shouldn't have bothered so much" Deema said ashamed.

"It's the least I can do for you for save me and my family. In addition, I have also approved your vacation for marriage. You deserve it, Miss Wahler...Or rather, future Mrs. Imani" Her boss bowed politely.

"OH YEAH, DEEMA!" The gang of sharks came to greet her too. Big W, Hammer, Tyrone, Raz and Lee were present and they wore sharp suits with biker jackets. Deema was about to explode with happiness. Everything seemed so unreal to her.

"Hey….A very important question...Does Goby know about this?" She managed to ask it.

"He has no idea about this either. In fact, he will come soon…" Zooli answered.

"AND UNTIL NOW YOU TELL ME?! Goby is about to arrive and I'm not wearing my best look for this big day! OH GOD! I NEED TO BECOME THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BRIDE IN THE WORLD! GIRLS, I NEED ASSISTANCE! MAKEUP, DRESS, MANICURE, NOW!" Deema shouted dramatically. She knew that, on her best day, she had to look her best. After all, it's her wedding! The guppy girls were already expecting it, so Molly, Oona, Zooli, Mia, Deema's mother and Charlize decided to take the bride to an ideal place to make the last missing details so that Deema becomes the perfect bride.

"Alright, girls...This will be our big challenge so far" Molly said determinedly knowing it could be complicated.

It didn't take long for the boys to perform the same surprise on Goby. They basically did a similar strategy as the girls. The dark blue haired boy had his questions too until his family and friends met him at the entrance to the beach. The boy was surprised and his reaction was very similar to Deema's. The boys explained everything they did behind his back.

"So...all of you...planned a secret wedding for Deema and me" Goby was trying to process everything.

"Yup. Operation Emergency Wedding! Hehehe that's what I called it" Gil admitted proudly.

"I can't believe it, guys! Seriously all our friends and families came together to do this for us" The dark-skinned guppy was shocked.

"That's right, little brother"

"Gabriel!" Goby hugged his older brother.

"Long time no see, huh? It seems that we managed to plan all this for you" Gabriel said confidently. Near him were his wife Megan and their three children. Those formerly known as "The Naughty Three" They were now teenagers of similar ages to the Wahler twins. And that wasn't the only surprise. Goby's grandfather had arrived with Goby and Gabriel's father.

"YoYoYo! It seems that my grandson has finally become a man who is committed to his woman hehe" The oldest guppy said with pride.

"Grandfather! I'm glad you're here" Goby hugged him.

"Today is a historic day. Not only for us, but also for the entire Imani family...Do you know something, Goby? You will be the first member of the Imani family to marry a person with a different skin color. That's right, you will be the first interracial marriage in the family" Goby´s grandfather said that curious fact about their family.

"Huh? Are you serious, grandpa? Guess I'm the family rebel now, huh? I have to assume that some family members will not agree" Goby analyzed that little detail.

"You're not far wrong about that, grandson. However...Who the hell cares about that? You love Deema and she loves you. That's all that matters. If you're happy with her, we're all happy for you" The older guppy said wisely. He began to value his grandson's girlfriend more since she saved his life. Furthermore, her actions during the Battle of BubbleTucky only earned her a lot of appreciation from Goby's family in general.

"That is right, brother. We better prepare for the ceremony. You need to use something much better" Gabriel told him. The dark blue haired guppy couldn't believe it. He was very happy to know that the wedding would be sooner than expected. That gesture from his best friends said a lot about how great they were. So, without wasting much time, he headed to a dressing room so that his friends and family could help him prepare for the wedding.

On Goby's side, the young adult had finally prepared himself for his big day. He decided to wear an elegant white suit and vest of the same color, black pants. In addition, he wore a black bowtie and as an accessory he had a red rose on his vest. The boy saw himself thanks to the mirror.

"You look great, man!" Gil commented.

"There is no doubt that Deema will be delighted to see you" Mr. Grouper said happily.

"Who'd say? You are the spitting image of your father when he was young" Mr. Grumpfish remembered a bit.

"Thanks guys. You are the best friends and the best family in the world. I can't believe everything that's happening. It's a little sudden...Do you think I'm ready?" Goby asked them.

"I think you're ready, Goby. You're smarter than I was when I married Megan. I got married when I was younger than you are now. But you know something? No one is really ready for these situations. We can only choose the right person so that we both learn together...That is the science of a marriage" Gabriel advised him.

"It's true! I have been with Molly for several months and in that short time they have been the best months of my life. I have no doubt that you will be equally happy with her" Gil added.

"We will be with you throughout this journey" Urchin supported him.

"Son...Today is your big day. Finally it will be an event that will mark your life. No matter what happens, I am very proud of you. I tried so hard to raise you and make you a great man...And I see that you have become a much better person. Goby, take care of Deema. Just like I took care of your mother" Mr. Imani said proudly for his son. Goby was silent for a few seconds as he reminded the woman he loved the most.

"(sigh) Do you think mom would be proud of me? Do you think she would have loved Deema?" Goby asked quietly.

"She would be proud of you. Without a doubt, she would be crying here from the happiness of seeing you marrying such a wonderful girl" His grandfather commented. Well, he knew his late daughter very well.

"I think they are right..." The groom commented.

"Alright...Goby, it's time to move...We're about to start" Nonny ordered.

"Very good...Here I go" Goby decided to head out of the dressing room, escorted by his father, brother, grandfather, and his best friends. Everyone was excited to start the event that would unite the young couple forever.

We'll look at another dressing room. But unlike the fiancé's salon, the bride's case was somewhat more chaotic. Well, Deema was a bit demanding. I don't judge her, she wants to look very perfect for the best day of her life. After a lot of work, the girls finished arranging the bride's style. Our blonde guppy was much more beautiful. She was wearing the white dress of hers that we saw earlier. But she also wore white pearl earrings and wore a crown of white flowers and a bouquet of the same color. She modeled her style a lot.

"Hehehe…I love it!" Deema said excitedly.

"You´re so cute!" Molly and Oona said at the same time.

"Goby won't be able to resist, you know?" Zooli commented funnily.

"You look like a lady, dear" Her father said very happily.

"snif…snif….I swore I wasn't going to cry today...But I just can't! Buaaaaaaaaaa" Her mom started to cry loudly. She was very happy for her daughter.

"I think now I know where Deema inherited her...special personality" Mrs. Grouper deduced it.

"Mom...please...Don't cry...Because if you cry...I cry too! Buaaaaahhhh!" Deema started to cry along with her mom. Mr. Wahler just sighed and he hugged both of them.

"Why are you crying?" Zooli asked her.

"snif….I am simply very happy...I never believed that you would be able to make me a wedding...Knowing that Goby and I couldn't do it...I will never...I will never forget this day…." Deema wiped away her tears and began to put on makeup that had been ruined earlier by crying.

"We are best friends...And that's what we do" Molly comforted her with a smile.

"And don't forget about us. Your mother and I also helped...We are so happy for you. And no matter what happened or what will happen...You will always be our beloved daughter" Mr. Wahler hugged his daughter. It was a beautiful moment. She hugged him even tighter.

"Hey everyone! Is Deema ready?" Dylan arrived with his twin brother.

"We are almost ready" Oona answered confidently.

"I hope so...Everything is ready now. The groom is ready. The ceremony must begin" Daniel completed his brother´s command. Deema took a deep, deep breath before her father escorted her out. The other women escorted her back before they went to her place. The blonde guppy was nervous and she took her father's arm so they could be together before the wedding march. She calmed down a little by taking a deep breath and feeling her father's support.

"I think I'm ready" Deema said confidently before she began to approach the ceremony site with her dad. Finally, the moment we have been waiting for had begun. It won't be long before Goby and Deema will be together for the rest of their days. The best day of their lives was just beginning. There are still many surprises that they had no idea about.

OH YEAH! I'M BACK! AND WITH A GREAT CHAPTER! Our second special couple will celebrate their marriage under special and unexpected circumstances. Maybe some of you were already expecting it, but here we are hehe.

PrimroseRaspberry: Hi there! The previous chapter was very dark. And the truth is, even very sad for Harris. His life was hard and he became very cruel and sadistic. At least we now know his past and how he became that villain. But for now...It's time to think about something happier. Operation Emergency Wedding is here! We have already started with this beautiful chapter. And this is going to get so much better.

I don´t know (guest): Hi there! I´m glad that you liked that special chapter!

As you already know, I will be continuing to update my stories little by little. Here I say goodbye. See you in a next chapter! Do not miss it!
