Greetings, dear readers! I'm back with this fantastic story. It took me a while to write this chapter because I took a few days of vacation. In fact, I haven't written this story since last year (Yes, typical bad joke XD).
In fact, some of you know that I did a Poll where you voted for the story that you want to see the most updates. And the winner is "Adult Years" (for obvious reasons). So I'll start working a little more on this story than the others, without abandoning any of them. Furthermore, we cannot forget that we are in the middle of an important event in Adult Years and we must continue it
So what are we waiting for? Here we go!
Bubble Guppies Fanfic
Bubble Guppies Adult Years
Chapter 19: Operation Emergency Wedding! (Part 2)
That magical moment has arrived. On that beautiful afternoon on the beach far from the city, many people were gathered under the shadows that the palm trees gave. All these people were witnessing a beautiful ceremony. Finally, Goby Imani and Deema Wahler were going to make their marital union official in front of everyone. The wedding plans had been brought forward thanks to the incredible plan organized by the Bubble Guppies and supported by the couple's close friends and relatives. We can see the altar under an arch decorated with white flowers with a perfect view of the sea. In that place, only the sound of the waves and the stereo could be heard. We can see a lobster woman in a formal suit, who would be the notary lawyer who would be in charge of carrying out the legal union of the couple. Goby is next to her, nervous and excited about the event, even though he seemed to handle her nerves well. His father, brother, sister-in-law, nephews, Gil, Nonny, Urchin, Mr. Grouper and Mr. Grumpfish were in the front row on the groom's side.
The music had started and everyone noticed the bride's arrival at the ceremony. Deema Wahler, in her beautiful white summer style wedding dress, was being escorted by her father. The walk to the altar felt eternal but on that journey, Deema was able to see the closest friends of hers that they had made over the years. In addition to family members from both sides happy for the wedding. The groom saw his partner, enchanted by the bride's beauty. Deema could only smile and wink at him without saying a single word. Her father gave his daughter at the altar and he decided to take a front row seat. On the bride's side were her parents, her twin siblings, Molly, Oona, Zooli, Duncan and members of the gang "The Fangs of the Road" who were friends of hers.
Finally, the couple were face to face, with the lawyer between them. The ceremony had begun and both wanted to talk to each other discreetly.
"Deema... you look... beautiful... more than ever" Goby admitted with a blush in his face.
"Thank you...You look very handsome...I would dare to say that you look sexy...Grrrrr" Deema told him in a funny and sneaky way. They both finally decided to start the ceremony.
"Ahem…..Dear guests present. Friends, relatives and other acquaintances. We are on this beautiful day to unite Goby Imani and Deema Wahler in holy matrimony…" The notary made the ceremonial and legal speech to formally unite the couple. The public was attentive to the words and the ceremony. The couple was paying attention for a while. In fact, one of them whispered to him discreetly.
"Do we really have to go through all this speech? Can't we just skip to the "I do" part?" Deema whispered to Goby quietly and funnily.
" I'm sorry, but it's part of the legal protocol. I don't think it will last long" Goby commented discreetly.
"It's just that all this bores me...I just want to go to the part where you kiss the bride" Deema winked at him. He kept quiet but he liked the idea. After those private comments, none of them spoke and they left the lawyer to carry out her part of the ceremony.
"...Very well….Goby Imani, do you want to start with your wedding vows?" The lawyer asked him.
"To be honest, I don't have anything prepared. We literally came here not knowing we were getting married today" Goby admitted nervously. That caused a bit of laughter in the audience. Because that was totally true. How were they going to prepare their wedding vows if no one told them that they were going to get married today?! However, someone decided to tell him something.
"Goby, you just improvise! Speak with your heart!" Gil shouted that advice from his seat. The dark blue haired boy managed to hear him and after thinking about it a little, he decided to speak. Needless to say, the lawyer was a little confused.
"Alright...I'm going to do it...(sigh) Deema Wahler, you are the most special person in my life. Since we met, I knew you were an exceptional girl. You always managed to make daily routines fun. There was never a dull moment when you were around. At first, I just thought that you and I would just be good friends. However, during our adolescence, a much deeper feeling came. You filled my gray days with joy. You always looked for ways to make me happy and make me laugh a lot. All that made me fall more in love with you. Our relationship was not easy at all. Our personalities sometimes clashed and external factors such as problems and even harmful people put our relationship in danger more than once. With all these setbacks, they made me see that you were the right woman for me. Because, despite the problems, you would always be there for me. Therefore, today, I, Goby Imani, promise in front of all witnesses that I will love and care for you as my beloved wife for the rest of our days. From today, I will place all my trust in you. I will protect you and love you until my last breath" Goby managed to demonstrate his most sincere thoughts and feelings about Deema in front of all the guests. That speech was so moving that even Deema had shed a few tears. It was one of her brothers who gave her a handkerchief to wipe her tears.
"That...was just...beautiful" Deema said quietly.
"Very good. Deema Wahler, you may proceed with your wedding vows" The lobster woman ordered.
"Alright…..Goby Imani...Wow, it feels weird saying your full name...Anyway...Goby, you're seriously the best guy I've ever met. You are a fairly calm, respectful, gentle, very gentlemanly man and of course, you are very patient. You were always the cool kid that everyone admired. And to me I just thought you were just a great friend. However, I managed to see more parts of you that maybe not everyone saw. I got to see a noble boy who sought the benefit of others before his own and who never expected to be rewarded or recognized for good deeds. You always had good judgment in your decisions and always helped me make better decisions. You were the voice of reason in my crazy life. You managed to put up with all my nonsense. If it weren't for you, I would have made many mistakes. I think that polar opposite was what attracted me to you. I fell unconditionally in love with you. People who see us think that because we are very different we are not compatible. But, rather, those differences unite us more. Because what I don't have, you have. And what you don't have, I have. For all this and more reasons...I, Deema Wahler, swear before everyone that I will love and care for you as your beloved wife. Today I decided to put my life, my dreams, my desires and my secrets in your hands. I will trust you unconditionally and love you for our entire lives together" Deema said all that in her speech. It was strange that she said something very serious. But at that moment, she demonstrated her complete commitment to her life with Goby. Those words were very profound and the groom appreciated hearing all that.
"I must admit that it is one of the best wedding vows I have heard in my work. Alright, time to move on. Do you Goby, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to live together in matrimony, to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?" The lawyer asked him.
"I do" Goby answered without a doubt.
"Great. Do you Deema, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, to live together in matrimony, to love him, comfort /him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?" The lobster woman asked her.
"Hmmmm…I dont" Deema answered. Everybody gasped shockedly.
"Wh-What?!" Goby asked surprisedly. That would be very worrying, but then he noticed that his girlfriend was holding back her urge to laugh. She started laughing out loud.
"Hahahaha! You should have seen your face...I was kidding. I just wanted to give this ceremony a little drama...Hahaha…" The blonde bride tried to calm herself from laughing.
"Deema!" Molly, Oona and Zooli shouted.
"Sorry! Sorry! Hahaha…." The girl decided to calm down and take a breath to put the joke aside and finally give the definitive answer "Of course I do! I DO! I DO!" She was excited to finally say those words. The lawyer was still trying to process what happened, but she decided to go ahead with the wedding. It wasn't the most normal wedding of her career.
"I don't think anyone will object to this wedding, so I think we'll get to the point. Bring the rings" The lawyer ordered. In this case, Nonny arrived, handing the rings to the couple very carefully. Goby took the ring box and opened it. He just took one of the rings and gently took his bride's hand to put the ring on her.
"With this ring I, Goby, take you, Deema, to be no other than yourself. Loving what I know of you, and trusting what I do not yet know, I will respect your integrity and have faith in your abiding love for me, through all our years, and in all that life may bring us" Goby said that while placing the ring on Deema's finger delicately. Now, the girl with the golden curls took the other ring and took her groom's hand.
"With this ring I, Deema, take you, Goby, to be no other than yourself. Loving what I know of you, and trusting what I do not yet know, I will respect your integrity and have faith in your abiding love for me, through all our years, and in all that life may bring us" Deema said while placing the ring on Gobys finger. The lawyer decided to take out the document so that both could sign the marriage certificate. That lasted a few seconds.
"By the power that the state has granted me, I now declare you: Husband and Wife!" The lawyer finally named them as husband and wife "Now you may kiss the-" She tried to say it before Deema boldly approached Goby.
"Finally! Come here, handsome!" This time, it was Deema who gave him an intense kiss on the lips. Goby was surprised at her, but he followed her kiss and hugged her waist. Everyone started applauding and shouting with happiness.
"Long live the couple! Long live Goby and Deema!" Everyone applauded and shouted with happiness. Many also whistled in celebration.
"That's my boy!" Gobys father shouted proudly.
"OH BOY!" Gil joined him. Nonny and Urchin clapped their hands.
"Yoo-Hoo!" Molly, Oona and Zooli said happily.
"Great!" Dylan and Daniel high-fived each other.
"Deema! Deema! Yeah!" Big W shouted with his four shark friends in a very happy chorus. Goby and Deema finally broke away from the kiss and held hands and greeted everyone. At that moment, someone approached them to give an important announcement to everyone.
"Excuse me….What time is it?" It was Mr. Grouper with one of his iconic phrases. Although this time, the response was not going to be typical.
"It's party time!" Deema said excitedly. And it was true. It was time to start the marriage party. The newly married couple decided to walk together hand in hand towards the place where the party would be. They were guided by Mr. Grouper. The party would be in a huge event hall near the beach with all the music equipment, snacks and dance floor ready for the event.
Obviously, it was a very beautiful event hall with a rustic wooden style. The place welcomed them with a good buffet selection and several glasses for the toast. Everyone decided to take their respective places to start the wedding party. At this point, the inauguration ceremony would be the speech of the closest family and friends of the new marriage. Goby and Deema sat together and held hands, as everyone witnessed the opening speeches.
"My son...Today is one of the best days of my life. Today I am witnessing the man you became. You have made one of the most important decisions of your life. Things in your life are going to be different now that you are married. Goby, I can assure you from personal experience that nothing is better than sharing a life with the person you really love. Today you are my greatest pride. I'm proud of you. And I want you to know that my house will always be there for you and Deema. I love you son" Mr. Imani said with a proud smile.
"Goby, I'm happy with what you decided today. You have always been a special person for the entire family. It was you who had the courage to confront me and make me see several mistakes. My daughter and son-in-law definitely did an excellent job raising you. And today, I can assure you that you are the greatest pride of the Imani family. And Deema, you have earned my respect and appreciation for everything you have done. Today I ask you to take good care of my grandson. He is sometimes stubborn and he needs a second voice for some things" Gobys grandfather said happily.
"Thank you very much, dad and grandpa" Goby answered with a smile.
"I...I...I didn't expect this day to come so quickly. My fun little Deema...now she is a married adult...It's so hard for me to take it in. It seems like yesterday that you took your first steps...sniff...I'm so happy for you, daughter. Please always visit us when you can...snif..." Deema's mother was trying to give her speech, but tears of happiness came out in large quantities from her eyes. Her twins decided to give her some napkins.
"What your mother and I are trying to say is that we are proud of you. You have truly demonstrated maturity and courage in your actions. We know more than anyone how hard you have fought so that you could be at Goby's side. It's your turn to leave the nest and build your own legacy. I can only tell you to enjoy this new stage of your life. And Goby, I want you to take care of her better than I would. She needs someone patient like you to watch her back. Today I give you that task" Mr. Wahler said quietly.
"Thanks, mommy! Thank you daddy! I promise to never stop visiting you" Deema said before she hugged both of them.
"It's our turn, bro!"
"Alright. Ahem!" They were Deema's twin brothers.
"Deema, we're so glad you finally got your special guy! Congratulations on your special day. Never forget that although we admit that we are annoying, we will always be your brothers. It doesn't matter if we are your younger brothers, you can always count on us. We will always be there for you" Dylan said determinedly.
"That's how it is. Goby, you are a great guy and we admire you. But you better take care of her, or else you could feel the wrath of the Wahler Twins... Hehehe we're just kidding... But yeah, make her feel like a queen, okay?" Daniel added.
"I am proud of you two. Honestly, I never imagined you two would end up together when I met you. And this is a pleasant surprise. They are both going to experience new situations together. There will be good days and bad days. But if you work as a team, you will be able to overcome any adversity. All I can say is: Enjoy your marriage" Mr. Grouper said happily.
"That's how it is. I'm happy you guys managed to get to this point in your relationship. Never forget that you can count on all of us. Mr. Grouper and I will always have our doors open for you" Charlize Grouper said quietly.
"Hmmmm….Normally, I don't like giving speeches. But today I will make an exception. I don't usually talk much. Very good. Goby, you really are someone I admire and respect a lot. You are the spitting image of your father. I know you will be a man like him and even much better. And because of that, I am sure that you will be a good husband. And Deema, I know you're going to be a good wife. Because you are very kind and, although you may be a little extravagant, you know when to make important decisions. You two, always take care of each other" Mr. Grumpfish surprised everyone with his speech. Even the new married couple were surprised.
"You two can't imagine how much I was waiting for this day. I'm very happy for you two. Deema, as your best friend I am proud of you and I wish you the best. They are both important members of our team and can always count on us. Goby, I'm sure you're going to be a great husband. I wish you both the best" Molly said with a big smile.
"Goby, my brotha! For me, you are the brother I never had and you don't know how happy I am to see you happy next to Deema. I am proud to be your best friend and even best man at your wedding. Deema, make sure he doesn't get into trouble. He will be a calm and cool guppy, but he can be stubborn. I entrust you to my best friend and my "brother from another mother" Gil said confidently.
"Oh Deema! I don't have words to express what I'm feeling. I always knew that you would find the "ideal guy" that you wanted so much in our young years. As a great friend, I will always wish you the best. And Goby, I hope you enjoy every second you're with her. You two can always count on my support" Oona commented happily.
"I'm glad you managed to get married. Many couples who went through things similar to yours would have broken up. You have had many difficult times being together. And that's something I admire about their relationship. Always seek to strengthen the relationship. Just because you know each other well does not mean that you already know everything about the other person. In your new stage, both of you are going to get to know each other much better. I want you to know that, even though you two are very different from me, I hold you in high regard. Don't hesitate to call me if you need anything from me" Nonny explained.
"I must admit that perhaps I did not have a very strong bond with you two. But that doesn't mean you aren't important to me. For me, you two are great friends and I will always wish you both the best. Never forget the love and respect for each other" Zooli said.
"I congratulate you both for taking this enormous step. A life full of special moments awaits you. Always make everything you do together special. I have no doubt that you two will form a unique and special family. And we wish deep in our hearts to be part of it" Urchin added. By this point, everyone important to the couple had given their speech. However, only one person was missing. This man was the only one missing.
"Hello Brother. Hello, my dear sister-in-law. I just wanted to tell you how happy I am to see you happy. You guys remember me when I married Megan. We both lived our best moments together, but we also lived difficult moments. And despite everything, we have been able to maintain our relationship and our family with our three children. I want you to know that I am a witness that you can live happily with the ideal person. So, you can both ask me and Megan for marriage advice" Gabriel said that with a smile. However, there was a moment of silence. He took a breath to be able to say something very important "Goby, I know you better than anyone. And I know that today you were expecting the presence of someone else. And I'm going to tell you something...Ladies and gentlemen, I ask everyone to be quiet and pay attention to this. At this time, I want to give my younger brother an important message. Someone important should be here with us, but that person can't be here anymore. Therefore, today I will be that person's messenger. Goby, I want you to see this" At that moment, some members of Goby's family decided to bring a television to show him something important. Gabriel pulled out a mysterious CD disc to put into the DVD player to show him a recording that seemed to be a bit old. In the video, the image at the beginning was blurry. But some voices began to sound.
"Are you sure you want to do this?"
"Of course, Gabriel. I don't think I'll live long enough to see it. I have to do this"
Goby opened his eyes in surprise. He could recognize the voices. One was his brother's, but the other voice...
"Very good. I'm going to start recording. Three, two, one..."
"Ahem….(sigh) Hello there, my Goby"
"M-M-Mom…." Goby said stuttering when he saw that it was a video of his late mother. The video appeared to be recorded a few years ago.
"My son, if you see this video it is because two things happened: One, surely I have already gone to a better place. And two, you have made the big decision to marry a special person. Goby, today you have made one of the best decisions of your life. Join for life with that ideal person. I want you to know that...I am proud of the man you became. Maybe I won't be able to see it with my own eyes, but deep in my heart I know that you will make the best decisions. I trust that my teachings and your father's teachings have been useful to you in becoming the best version of yourself. I trust that you will become a good man for the community, a great husband for your partner and a great father for my future grandchildren. Goby, I want you to know that...No matter what happened...I am proud of you. No matter what you have done, I always loved you, I love you and I will continue to love you, even if I am no longer by your side. Never forget this. I will always be in your heart. Goby, love your wife like you loved me. I hope to see you someday. Until then, enjoy the company of your family, friends and the love of your life. Value every second. With love, your mom"
That was the video recording. Mrs. Imani was wearing her hospital gown and had a blue scarf covering her bald head. In that recording, she looked healthy even though she was recorded during the last days of her life. Nobody said anything. The only thing that could be heard were Mrs. Imani's words. It was as if she came back from the dead for a few minutes to say those words to her son. There was silence throughout the place until everyone heard something impressive. It was Goby, who couldn't hold on for long and started crying. Those words were something he was waiting for. Deep in his heart, he wished that his mother could have seen him grow up. He wanted her to have been at his high school graduation. He wanted her to have been at the college graduation. He wanted her to be in that same room with him celebrating his marriage with Deema. Deema, as her first act as his wife. She started to comfort him.
"snif…..Thank you mom...Thank you...snif...Thank you"
It took a few minutes for the new husband to regain his composure so the celebration could continue. Deema asked her if she wanted some time alone. Goby just wiped his eyes and drank water. He told her that those tears were of happiness. Because he could hear his mother's voice again after so many years. And the best thing, that video was like a farewell for him. Finally, he could hear his mother's last words to him. Gabriel had that video saved for many years and, by orders of his mother, he could only show it to Goby until his wedding day.
After he recovered, the party continued. It was time for the waltz. So that Goby could recover a little, the first to dance were Deema and her father. Father and daughter shared a beautiful dance. The blonde didn't want to miss a single second of that special moment. Goby saw them with happiness. And he was much happier to have been able to see his mother for the last time in a different and unique way. Finally, he decided to get up and walked towards Deema. Mr. Wahler handed him his daughter and left so they could have their personal waltz.
"Will you allow me this dance, Mrs. Imani?" Goby bowed at her.
"It will be an honor, Mr. Imani" Deema played with him and she bowed too. The boy decided to take her waist with one hand while he took her other hand with the other. Deema took her husband's hand and her other hand held onto him so they both began their intimate dance. A beautiful melody began to play and they both began to dance slowly. To lighten the mood, Nonny pressed a button for the ceiling to open above them, leaving the event hall roofless so everyone could see that the couple were now dancing under the light of the stars and the full moon. Goby and Deema could only look each other in the eyes without saying a single word and without looking away. For them, that moment was as if only they existed in the world.
"Deema, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. You are fantastic" Goby told her.
"Goby, you are...my dream come true" Saying that, they both ended the dance with a passionate kiss on the lips in front of everyone. Everyone applauded happily for that. The couple finally separated from the kiss and looked into each other's eyes with that unconditional love. However, someone interrupted that moment.
"Hey! Aren't we supposed to be having a fiesta?" Gil shouted loudly and everyone joined him. The couple noticed that the musical rhythm changed radically and that the singer was going to be Gil in the middle of the crowd.
"OHH! I love this song!" Deema said excitedly. The music was now more lively and danceable. Gil approached Goby.
"Hey man, I need a second singer. Come on, man" Gil tried to convince him. Goby noticed that everyone wanted him to sing too.
"Hehe….Why not? I don't remember the last time I sang alone or with a partner" He accepted.
"Like old times, dude!" The light-blue haired guppy said excitedly "Uno, dos, tres, cuatro. Come on!"
Gil and Goby were going to have a musical duo, with the support of the DJ. They were both going to have a funny and epic moment together as best friends.
"Gil: She's into superstitions, black cats and voodoo dolls
Goby: I feel a premonition that girl's gonna make me fall (here we go)
Gil: She's into new sensations, new kicks and candlelight
Goby: She's got a new addiction for every day and night
Both: She'll make you take your clothes off and go dancing in the rain
She'll make you live her crazy life
But she'll take away your pain
Like a bullet to your brain"
All the guests began to dance on the dance floor while enjoying the show of the two best friends. The guppy girls were enjoying the show and Molly and Deema giggled
"Both: Upside inside out
Livin la Vida loca
She'll push and pull you down
Nonny (with deep voice): Livin la Vida loca
Gil and Goby: Her lips are devil red
Gil: And her skin's the color mocha
Both: She will wear you out
Livin la Vida loca
Livin la Vida loca
Livin la Vida loca"
"Goby: Hey, Gil! That's Spanish"
The pace dropped a little so Gil could have a solo.
"Gil: I woke up in New York City in a funky cheap hotel
She took my heart and she took my money
She must have slipped me a sleeping pill"
"Goby: She never drinks the water and makes you order French champagne
And once you've had a taste of her you'll never be the same
She'll make you go insane"
The pair of friends returned to the duet with the music at full blast.
"Both: Upside inside out
Livin la Vida loca
She'll push and pull you down
Livin la Vida loca
Her lips are devil red
And her skin's the color mocha
She will wear you out
Livin la Vida loca
Livin la Vida loca
Livin la Vida loca
(Com'on, oww, o she's livin la loca, break it down)"
We can see that several couples began to dance together. Gil took a rose and put it in his mouth to get closer to his wife in a fun way. Molly giggled and started dancing with him. Goby decided to join Deema in a crazy moving dance. Oona and Nonny, without saying a word to each other, just with their looks they managed to give each other an indirect message about dancing together. Zooli decided to dance with Urchin in an area a little away from the crowd so he could enjoy her moment without compromising the safety of her physically disabled boyfriend. Mr. Grouper and Mrs. Grouper danced together without a doubt. And in this way, many people enjoyed the show of the pair of guppies.
"Gil and Goby: Upside inside out
Livin la Vida loca
She'll push and pull you down
Livin la Vida loca
Livin la vida loca
She'll push and pull you down
Livin la vida loca
Her lips are devil red
And her skin's the of color mocha
She will wear you out
Livin la Vida loca
Livin la Vida loca
Livin la Vida loca
Livin la Vida loca!"
After that spectacular show, Deema decided to play with the single girls at the party with the bouquet toss. The newlywed threw the bouquet and many girls began to fight over the bouquet. The funny thing is that while everyone was fighting, one girl just took the bouquet that was far away from where the girls were fighting. This guppy giggled cutely and this guppy was Oona. She simply hugged the bouquet with great emotion. Could this be a clue to the future guppy getting married? After a long time of fun, the guests continued with the party while we could see how the newly married couple were sitting on the shore of the night beach. Where the tide moved little and the sky was starry and that huge full moon was so beautiful. The couple looked at the beautiful night landscape.
"Beautiful, don't you think?" Deema asked quietly.
"Yeah….I thought you wanted to continue with the crazy party. That's your style" Goby asked curiously.
"Hmmm….I also want to be with you alone. Since we arrived, we haven't been able to be alone" The blonde guppy admitted. They both stayed silent for a few seconds. She laid her head on the shoulder of her now husband "(sigh) Of everything the guppies have done...This has been the most impressive thing they have done. A surprise wedding? Who would have thought of that?...Not even myself!"
"Yes, our friends and families are the best...So, now we are Mr. and Mrs. Imani, huh? Do you like the way it sounds?" Goby asked her.
"I love it...Hey, now that you say that...How do you feel about your mom?" Deema decided to ask him about the surprise his brother prepared for him. The boy looked at the starry sky with tranquility.
"I thank my brother for showing me my mother's last words. She really always loved me...And she would have loved you like her daughter-in-law. It's time to leave the past behind, and now enjoy my new present and future...at your side" Goby looked at her eyes.
"That was beautiful. I just hope you don't regret our decision" Deema commented.
"There's no way I'm going to regret what I said at the altar. You may be a little crazy, but that's how I love you" He said with a soft laugh.
"I'm crazy, huh? Take this!" Deema managed to throw her husband into the water. He ended up soaked while she started laughing
"Oh yeah?" Goby took his revenge and managed to grab his wife's hand and pulled her towards him so that she fell to the shore next to him. She ended up with the dress soaked from her. They both began to laugh and annoy each other with a water fight. None of them cared that they were on the beach in the middle of the night with their wedding suits soaked in seawater. They were simply enjoying their first moment alone as husband and wife. While they were playing with each other, a pair of guppies saw the scene in the distance.
"Hehehe...Operation Emergency Wedding was a resounding success. Cheers, my friend!" It was Gil with a drink. He gently clinked his glass with that of another friend of his making a toast "For Goby and Deema"
"For Goby and Deema" The other boy was Nonny. They both drank their glasses after that little toast between them.
"Let's go see the others, Nonny. Let them enjoy their privacy" Gil said before leaving to join his other friends. Nonny simply saw the newly married couple. He was happy to see them happy together. Despite that, something was bothering Nonny deep inside him.
"Hmmm….Eventually, Goby and Deema ended up together. I helped them finally get married...Would that be enough to...redeem me?" Nonny asked him, touching his glass.
"When are you going to stop lying to yourself? No matter everything you have done for them or for others, you will always be responsible for everything. You will never be able to redeem yourself...You will never have forgiveness"
"Enough!" Nonny, in his inexplicable impulse of rage, squeezed the glass in his hand and it broke. Causing Nonny's hand to start bleeding. Despite the cuts from the glass fragments, the boy did not feel pain. He watched as his veins turned green again for a moment. But they returned to normal. The boy just looked at his hand stoically as he continued to shed blood "Hmmm….How strange, I don't feel pain" Nonny said before leaving for some private place where he could heal his wound with a bandage. Post-Chapter
Something that sometimes happens at weddings is that not all the guests can arrive. Sometimes, due to force majeure, certain guests cannot make it to the ceremony. This happened with an important character in this new part of the story. We can see a beautiful guppy who was modeling her new dress that she had bought for an important event.
"I look beautiful. I'm excited to go to Goby's wedding. Not even he knows about the surprise wedding. This will be exciting. Maybe I'll even meet some cute guys out there" It was Wilma who was joking with herself. When she was thinking about leaving her apartment to get to the event, her cell phone started ringing.
RING! RING! RING!
"Huh? Who can It Be? Maybe it will be one of these Bubble Guppies" Wilma said calmly. She assumed that one of them called her to give her details of the event or maybe even one of them was going to offer her transportation. But she noticed that the number was unknown "Uhh..Hello?"
"W-W-Wilma? Is it you?"
"Yeah. Wilma Stone, what do you want?" She asked curiously.
"Don't you recognize your own older sister's voice?"
"R-R-ROBYNN?! Is it really you?!" Wilma was shocked.
"Yes, dear sister. It has been many years. How have you been?"
"I've been looking for you for a long time! Where the hell were you all this time?!" She demanded an answer.
"Don't worry, Willy. You will have all the answers in time. Listen to me, I need to meet in person. There are so many things we need to talk about. Unfortunately, you'll have to go...To Abyssal Town State Prison"
"Abyssal Town State Prison? That...is a prison very far from Big BubbleCity...Sister, what happened?" She was concerned.
"You will have all the answers. But first, you must get here as soon as possible. By that I mean now"
"Hey...don't you prefer that I arrive tomorrow? I'm about to go to a dear friend's wedding and…." Wilma tried to change plans.
"I'm going to interrupt you there. Which is more important? A friend's wedding or finding your own sister who was missing for years? You tell me" The younger sister thought about it for a bit until she sighed.
"(sigh) You have a point there. I'll go right away" Wilma said quietly.
"Thank you, dear sister. I ask you to bring a very good lawyer. Don't worry, we'll sort out the monetary matters later. See you" And the call ended.
Wilma decided to change her plans at the last minute. She texted that she couldn't make it to her friend's wedding due to an unexpected situation. She decided to prepare herself and took her car to leave Big BubbleCity for a few days. The trip to Abysmal Town was a trip of a few days. And to get to that prison it was a little more. She just started driving away from the city.
"(sigh) Forgive me, Goby" While she was driving, someone managed to see the entire scene from anonymity. The subject was wearing a black hooded sweater to hide her identity. He saw the car going in the direction of the city where Robynn was. The boy took off his hood and revealed his identity. He smiled when he saw the scene.
"Hehehe….It's time to reunite the sisters, fellas!" Harris smirked
