A/N: Hi everyone, this is the first fanfiction I'm publishing and I'm only publishing for fun! This was a project I started strictly for myself and decided to publish with my fiance's support, so please be gentle with me if you decide to review! I took inspo from the Extra Evil chapter 55.5 or it's one of the last clips of episode 13 of the anime. These two are my absolute favorite so I hope you enjoy :)

"Noi... all those years ago, that was you?!" Shin asked, stunned that his partner of ten years had been the mystery girl he'd dreamt of from the first of En's balls he attended. "What, like you didn't know?" Noi asked, dumbfounded. She knew Shin was oblivious sometimes but this was just absurd. "How many girls have you met with white hair and red eyes?" En asked, tapping Shin on the forehead with the staff he had been carrying around all night. Shin rubbed his forehead, too stunned to speak, his face visibly turning red. "I'll leave you two to catch up, but you should probably start dancing if you know what's good for you," En stated as he walked toward a tall muscular woman with dark red hair. Two other women flocked around him and they fought for his hand.

"So, what do you think?" Noi asked, twisting to show off the outfit that was made for her. "I clean up well, don't I, senpai?" "I would say so," Shin smiled, extending his hand out to her. "Shall we dance?" "I would love to!" Noi exclaimed, grabbing her senpai's hand and pulling him to the dance circle around the fire.

After a couple of hours of swapping partners and dancing with every person at the ball, Noi had excused herself to take a rest by the tree overlooking the ocean. The moon was setting low and bright over the horizon, creating a tremendous amount of light between itself and its reflection on the water. The light shone delicately on noi's face, highlighting her soft features and causing her hair to illuminate like the moonlight itself. It wasn't difficult for Shin to find her after just a couple minutes of searching, he had found her here once before, in seemingly another life. "Ah, senpai!" Noi exclaimed as she noticed his arrival. "You need to take a break too?" "Yeah," he said as he sat on the same large root Noi sat upon, letting out a loud sigh as he did so. "Those guys can go on forever." "Tell me about it." Noi looked back out over the water. "There's no fuckin' way you didn't know that was me this entire time," she snickered, bumping a shoulder into Shin. He burried his face in his hands. "As much as I hate to admit it, I have to," he laughed in embarrassment. "You know, I had been hoping for so long that I would see her again and this whole time I had been spending every day with her." "You'd been hoping to see her again?" Noi asked innocently. She felt her heart skip a beat. What did it do that for? "Yeah," Shin smiled, gazing longingly up at the moon. "I thought she was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen." After realizing what he had said, his eyes snapped to Noi. Her gaze had softened toward him and her red eyes appeared to sparkle. "And what do you think of her now?" she tilted her head slightly, her white hair falling to the side and exposing her collarbone. Shin couldn't help but reach out and tuck the rest of the fallen hair behind her ear to expose her neck, his hand lingering over her cheek. "Senpai..." Noi breathed as they both moved to close the gap between their lips, until they sensed a massive presence looming behind them. "Break time's over, dickheads!" a red devil bellowed as he hammered his trident into the dirt. Shin and Noi jumped to their feet and stood at attention. "Yes, sir!" they shouted in unison while saluting. "Don't salute, just dance!" the devil chased after them, threatening to poke them each in the butt. After they ran off, Chota appeared from behind a tree where he had been watching Shin and Noi. He pressed his cheek into his hand as he leaned against the tree. "They'll get there eventually," he sighed as he watched them dance together around the fire, this time a little closer than they had been before.
