Pain coursed throughout her body, despite her magic healing all the wounds she got from her suicidal actions. But it was not the physical pain, rather an emotional one.

Scarlet Witch, a prophecized being of immense power over Chaos magic and picnics, lied down in the middle of the grasslands as her eyes gazed at the clear night sky.

Steadily, she rose up from the ground and surveyed her surroundings with curiosity and confusion.

"Where am I? Did that threw me in another universe, or is it my power that did this?" Wanda asked to herself as she cleared up the filth over her body.

She stood with caution, making sure to attract the attention of a wild animal. Interestingly, the creatures here were harmless or simple. At the edge of this grasslands, there was a patch of trees indicating forest.

She did not waste any time and attempted to use telepath over the whole area. Fortunately, there were no mages around this place. But the question remained : where was she?

Cloaking herself under the veil of invisibility, she flew into the sky.

Her emotions catching up with her current state of mind, reminding her the pains she had caused over many lives. But it also spoke the volume of weaknesses she once had, while personality as the Scarlet Witch.

"Perhaps, I should have surrendered to the authorities when I had the chance? It may have calmed my nerves a bit." She sighed to herself while floating above the sky. Her gaze moved in every location, trying to find any aeroplane for a quick travel.

She waited hours for any flight, yet there were none.

"Am I flying in a restricted area? But where is the air force then?" She said to herself as her gaze drifted to the beautiful starry sky.

There was something peculiar about this sky. It looked way more glimmering than... than...

She blinked furiously as her searched for Ursa Major, Cassiopeia and any other constellation that she was aware of watching while studying the chaos magic. A new revelation rose, thar this planet is not her home at all. But she quickly shot down that thought.

She flew far into the forest, feeling the presence of intelligent species there. Only to find something that either shocked, or perplexed her.

There was a tribe of green creatures doing something around the fire. It looked like a ritual. And strangely enough, she could comprehend what they were telling. Putting her ears at work, she heard everything they spoke.

"... is asking for tribute again. What shall we do, shaman? I am not giving up my people to that heap of muscles!" The bigger one said angrily

"I know your feelings. But we have to do something, otherwise that brute will cause more harm than..." The shaman stopped at mid sentence before looking around.

"My ancestors are telling that we are being watched. Go, hide everyone in the burrow. Quick!" The shaman ordered quickly. As others extinguished the camp fire, the only source of light.

Wanda saw fear and death in their inhumane eyes, like they were used to this. She did not want to waste her time here, but still marked this group of goblins, probably, for future travels. She was kind of interested in that shamanism of this goblin too.

Increasing her speed, she went further into the west. The air was clean, unlike the one she breathed in at Earth. The indirect meeting with those goblins just further solidified the possibility of her being in another world. But that wasn't a problem for her.

Her eyes caught a glimpse of light coming from the corner of her eye. As she turned around to better see this one, her mind sensed another group of intelligent species. This time, it felt way most likely to be humans.

On a hill, there were few tents with humanoid figures guarding them. Not wanted to get caught like before, she boosted her senses to another degree. Her eyes caught the presence of many humans who wore masks. It looked akin to a cult. A very well-organized cult.

Her auditory senses strengthened up, yet some sort of spell stopped her from hearing what they were saying.

Using her hex, she started to influence this unknown spell while putting herself at more caution than before. These people were putting efforts to not be heard or found our by anyone, surely they were doing some shady work. Her hex had done it. The spell named [Silence] entered into her mind, putting her at more confusion than before.

She had never thought of finding the English spells into another world.

"Just what the heck is happening in this world?"

Her ears perked up a s they talked with each other, pulling her attention on other things.

"I want to complete this mission fast..."

"Same. Once we are done with Warrior Captain, the Bloody Emperor will easily raid the Kingdom."

"Yeah, but Gazef is strong. Do we have a plan to really take him down?"

"Captain Nigun has one of the miracles of Six Great Gods. The victory is assured."

"Indeed. I am just worried about the people of this kingdom."

"Yeah. If only the nobles were doing thir works properly."

Everyone nodded at his words, while making plans on how to escape from this foreign country of Re-Estize.

Wanda also attempted to read their minds, but some sort of barrier stopped her. She wanted to use hex again, but thought otherwise. She had enough information of what was perpetrating here.

On one hand, she could just tell their assassination plan to the King of this country and save this important guy from his well-prepared doom. On the other hand, she could just let this guy named Gazef die for his country and watch the ripples of change on this world.

There was a third option too.

Wisps of red motes came out of her hand, as she crafted a hex big enough to swallow their whole camp. She wanted to do the same with those goblin-looking people, but ignored it. Those goblins were already in great despair. It would be wrong to further walk on the path of Scarlet Witch.

She was Wanda Maximoff, the master of Chaos magic itself. She would not let some prophecy to dictate her future. She would become what she wanted to. Only her self interests matter at this point.

Once the hex was done, she did what she had done to Agatha Harkness.

Drain 'em out!

Gazef Stronoff was an adult in his mid thirties, whose tanned skin had experienced the upd and downs of life. He, as the Warrior Captain of Re-Estize Kingdom, had an oath to protect the walls of his country from the foreign invaders till his last breath.

When he was ordered by the King to survey the deaths of many villagers, Gazef knew that there was something was fishy.

If it were a bandit group, they would have killed any evidence from being leaked to the E-Rantel. Not to mention that such a group would not kill every single villager without taking in some hostages. But the reports said otherwise.

As he travelled to the further east of the Kingdom, near the edges of Tob forest, his doubts were confirmed that it was a plan to take him out in the open. A possible assassination attempt was waiting for him.

But that did not scare him. No.

His first action was to maintain the peace in the nation, like a loyal dog that others nobles had termed him. Being a commoner, he was taken lightly by many nobles, mocked for his heritage, and yet, the King stood for his defense. It was obvious that he would save the Kingdom despite its flaws.

As he and his Warrior Troop, named by himself, got closer to the Carne village with hopes in their hearts.

Once his little army came closer, he saw something that caught his attention.

The place where the village once stood, was covered with walls made out of rocks. There were outposts too, at regular distances. With a massive gate closed off for any outsider. For him and his troop, it looked more like a castle than a village.

"Umm, are we at the right place, Captain?" One of his soldier asked in hurry and confusion. The others followed his words and stared at him with the same question.

Gazef thought for the right words before replying, "Yes. It looks like that. But, I can be wrong. Send out someone to speak with the leader of this... settlement. Take three more soldiers as guards, and stay vigilant. Understood?"

"""Yes."""

While he watched the fortress village with caution and intrigue, a red-haired woman under the veil of invisibility was staring down at his little group with amusement.
