Towering Terrors- Carter, Deon, Laurie, Margaret, Maria, Rival 6/10
Ballistic Bellhops- Andrew, Liz, Phoebe, Qwynn, Sunny 5/10
Last time on Total Drama Hotel Madness, the night before the challenge, Qwynn had a nightmare after the guilt of voting for Regina and the whole Libby situation caught up to him, so this led to him having a chat with Phoebe and trying to help her through some breathing exercises the next morning, but that's not all that happened as Courage found a secret room and made a mess of the cloning machine that she had in there. Laurie confronted Margaret and actually got some information out of her. She took this news to Deon but he didn't like it because he thought she was poking the bear, but as it turned out, the information that Margaret gave Laurie was false and Laurie discovered that Margaret was a lot more dangerous than she first thought. Maria was stealing some more items for Hayley, and after getting out of Deon's room she had a run in with Rival, who sensed that something was up, then she ran into Hayley who was a little agitated as she told Maria to just put the stuff in a hole for her. Sunny saw Carter and Liz talking and quickly deduced that they were in an alliance. Sunny then went to Andrew and asked him to help her regarding the whole Francheso issue. The challenge started where Hayley explained that there were a number of Courage 'holograms' on the loose and that everyone had to catch them and whichever team caught the most or caught Courage prime wins the challenge. With that out of the way, everyone met Atticus and Scarlett, and they proceeded to sing a song where the Courage clones interfered, and throughout the song, Atticus and Scarlett proceeded to send Deon and Margaret to a circus, Carter and Laurie to a boxing ring where Laurie let it slip that someone was 'stealing her man', Rival and Maria to a department store, Phoebe and Qwynn to a park, and Andrew, Sunny, and Liz to a library, where the girls got into a fight and Liz walked away.
Deon and Margaret stood with their backs up against each other as a crowd of evil clowns surrounded them.
"You've got my back and I've got yours," Deon told Margaret.
"Got it," Margaret replied.
Confessional: Margaret
"Normally I woulda said dat I don't need help but dis is Deon we're talkin' about. But just ta make sure dat we get it done," Margaret reached into her pocket and pulled out a pair of brass knuckles, "dere, now I'm ready."
Confessional over
Confessional: Deon
"Hey, as much as I would prefer to do this literally with anyone else, including Chris, my desire to not get eliminated tonight is stronger, so I'm going to work with her on this challenge for as long as I have to."
Confessional over
Deon made the first move, punching one of the clowns in the face as it got close to him. Margaret tried for an uppercut, but one of the clowns squirted her in the face with its flower.
Margaret gasped as she saw that her clothes were wet. "Oh dat's it, you're gonna geddit now!" She exclaimed before she punched that clown in the nose, with it making a squeaking noise as she did, with it being seemingly unaffected by the punch.
Meanwhile Deon beat up the clowns left and right with his wrestling moves, with no mercy being shown. He grabbed one clown and threw it into several more. He elbowed one that was attempting to attack him from behind and punched another one in the gut. He put one in a headlock and then he swung it around, which ended up hitting even more clowns, then he tossed the one that he had in a headlock aside, but more just kept coming. "How are you holding up?" Deon asked Margaret.
"I'm fine," she replied nonchalantly, "but it seems like dey just keep comin'." Margaret said as she beat up another clown.
"I know what you mean," Deon said as he flipped over another one.
"Why don't we try gettin' some place high up?" Margaret suggested, "just to see where dey're comin' from."
"That's not a bad idea." Deon punched another clown in the gut, "but how do we do that?"
"I've got a grappling gun," Margaret said as she reached into her pocket and pulled it out, then handed it to him. "Here, you do it, and den ya can carry me up along da way."
Confessional: Margaret
"And I'm thinkin' ta myself dere's no way he's gonna do it."
Confessional over
Deon sighed. "Okay, fine." Deon aimed the grappling hook at the top of the roller coaster and shot it. As soon as it landed, he put his arm around her waist and said"hold on."
"With pleasure," Margaret said as she held onto Deon tight.
He pressed the button again to get them to go up.
Confessional: Deon
He sighs and facepalms himself. "It's not something I wanted to do and I know she was trying to bait me into doing it, but I really didn't have time to argue with her in that situation."
Confessional over
They made it up to the top of the roller coaster. Deon found his footing and was able to get a good view of the park. "Watch your step." Deon warned her.
"Right." Margaret said as she was doing the same.
Deon and Margaret take a quick scan around the park. "I think they're coming from over there." Deon said as he pointed at a big red and yellow circus tent.
"I think we've got bigga problems ta worry about." Margaret said as she pointed down.
Deon looked down and saw the clowns climbing up the roller coaster. "Gotta agree there. Does that gun of yours work in reverse?"
"Yeah, it should." Margaret replied.
"Good enough for me hold o…" before Deon could finish his sentence, she had already clinged on to him.
Confessional: Deon
Deon sighs. "I bet she's really loving this challenge, isn't she?"
Confessional over
Confessional: Margaret
"I'm really lovin' dis challenge, cuz I get Deon all ta myself!"
Confessional over
"Well, here goes nothing." Deon said before aiming the gun at a nearby tent. The grappling hook attached to the flagpole. He pressed the button again and they were both pulled off the roller coaster just before the evil clowns reached the top.
"What did you just say?" Carter asked Laurie as he raised an eyebrow.
"Uh nothing," Laurie said nervously.
"No seriously, I thought I heard something about someone stealing your man?"
Laurie sighed. "Okay look, I'm having relationship troubles, can we just focus on the challenge?"
Confessional: Carter
"This is interesting news to me, I'm going to assume it's Deon or Rival with a heavy lean towards Deon because of course a muscular guy like that would get into a relationship on this show. I mean why wouldn't he?" He showed his bias, slamming his fist down on the counter as he said those last words, also a vein popped out of his neck. Realizing what he just did, he cleared his throat and adjusted his glasses. "Anyway, now that I know that, I'm going to use that information to my advantage," he grinned evilly.
Confessional over
"Alright," Carter responded to Laurie, "but just so you know, I have all the strength of a baby duckling."
"Great." Laurie said sarcastically as she facepalmed herself. "What are we supposed to do now?"
"I was thinking about sitting back and letting you handle this because I'm clearly not cut out for this." Carter said.
"Me? But I can't… look out!" Laurie dove at Carter, pushing him out of the way of the wrestler that was just about to tackle him.
"Uh, thanks," he said, "and you can't what?"
"I can't do this!" Laurie panicked.
"But I thought you were a wrestler." Carter pointed out.
"No, I do MMA, there's a difference you know. This is pro wrestling, this is more Deon's territory." She explained.
"Huh," Carter rubbed his chin, "well if that's the case, maybe I can help you here. I can hack into the hotel's main frame and change this wrestling match into an MMA fight or whatever."
"You'd do that for me?"
"If it gets me out of this place, then sure," Carter got out his laptop, "but you'll have to distract them." Carter pointed behind Laurie, she turned around.
"Gah!" She jumped up and started running. "Hurry up!" She yelled at Carter.
"I'm working on it." Carter hacked into the hotel, and change the wrestling ring into an MMA match just as Laurie was being cornered.
Confessional: Carter
"Yes, I can hack into Hayley's system, and yes I can change some things about the challenge, and yes I think I could end the challenge right there, but I'm not going to do it because I don't want to tip off Hayley
Confessional over
Confessional: Hayley
"Yes, I'm aware that Carter is able to hack into my main frame, but I'm not doing anything about it yet because he hasn't done anything worth responding to yet.
Confessional over
She smiled. "Okay, I've got this," Laurie said before she proceeded to handle the two fighters in front of her, taking them out with a double blow to their chests.
"Awnd we hwave a winner!" The referee announced, which caught the attention of the two contestants.
Carter raised an eyebrow. "Hey isn't that…"
"Courage speak!" Laurie realized as she tilted her head toward the referee, which was in fact, another Courage clone.
"Hellwo" Courage waved before starting to take off like a jet.
Laurie and Carter took off after them and soon caught up to the Courage clone after chasing them around the ring, with Laurie pouncing on them. "I've got you now you little… whatever you are!" Laurie said as she held them tight.
"Is that the real Courage or just another clone?" Carter asked.
"Yep, u've gwot mwe teeheehee" Courage laughed, "bwut unfowtunantely I'm nwot thwe weal one, nwope, I'm Cowage Clwone #37."
"Dang it!" Laurie exclaimed, "what should we do with this one?" She glanced toward Carter.
"I'm on it." Carter typed on his computer, and a few seconds later, a rope appeared around the Courage clone, as well as duct tape over its mouth.
"That oughta do the trick." Laurie stated.
"Now let's find a way out of here before those guys wake up." Carter said, which Laurie agreed with.
Meanwhile, Rival pushed open a door for him and Maria to go through. Seconds later a horde of mannequins, cash registers, and clothing racks run past the same door that they just went through.
"Did we lose them?" She asked him.
"I think so." Rival answered.
"Who are we talking about?"
"Bwah!" Both Rival and Maria react to the Courage clone that popped up out of nowhere.
"Whoops, sorry for scaring you." The Courage clone apologized.
"Are you the real one, or just one of the copies?" Maria asked after calming down.
"Courage clone number 1,383 at your service ma'am!" They saluted Maria and Rival. "How may I assist you?"
"Huh?" Rival was perplexed to say the least. "But I thought…"
"That Courage spoke differently?" The clone finished off Rival's sentence. "Yes, they do, but the more Courage clones were made, the less of their personality got transferred over. So, I'll help you if you guys want."
"Uh, excuse us for a minute." Maria pulled Rival aside and asked him "What do we do?"
"Well, we're supposed to be catching them, right?"
"Yeah."
Rival tilted his head towards the Courage clone, who waved at him, then turned back to Maria. "Look, I know this might sound crazy, but let's just go along with this for now. If they try something later, I can subdue them. What do you think?"
"Eh," Maria stopped to think about it for a moment before continuing, "As long as you're sure you can overpower them if need be…"
"I'm sure."
"Alright then, I'm okay with it, but let's keep an eye on them."
"Of course." Rival nodded.
The two contestants turned back to the Courage clone.
"Alright, we've decided to take you up on your offer." Rival informed them.
"But just don't try any funny business." Maria added.
"You can count on me!" The Courage clone saluted them both.
"So, what do we do now?" Rival asked.
"Well, I happen to know for a fact that the others are planning something big, but we'll have to get out of here." The Courage clone told them.
Rival and Maria both give each other a worried glance. They then huddle back up.
"This could be a trap." Rival told Maria.
"I know, but we have to get out of here anyway," Maria scratched her head, "I think. Let's just go along with this anyway, at least until we get out of here, I'm willing to bet that they'll at least lead us that far."
"Alright, that sounds like a good plan." Rival agreed, then they broke the huddle.
"Are you guys going to do that every time I say something?" The Courage clone asked.
"Uh, I don't know." Rival said bluntly, "lead the way."
Phoebe and Qwynn were still running around in the park, as they couldn't escape the birds.
"Look out!" Qwynn pointed at a bird that was dive bombing Phoebe. She just narrowly dodged.
"Thanks."
"Man, we cannot catch a break with these things!"
"Yeah, and I'm almost out of breath. We need to lose these things, and quickly."
"I've got an idea, follow me." Phoebe followed Qwynn as he turned around and went through some bushes. "Come on, I know I saw it here somewhere!" He said frantically.
"Saw wha-"
"There it is!" Qwynn said when he reached a pond.
"But, can't birds swim?"Phoebe questioned.
"Who said anything about going into the body of water?" Qwynn pointed at the wooden dock off to the side. He went there, then he jumped off the edge. "Come on," he instructed Phoebe.
"But…"
"Just trust me."
Phoebe was hesitant at first, but she eventually jumped in and followed him under the dock.
When the birds came, they all went into the pond, then stuck their heads into the water, but they didn't see anything so they all moved on.
It then cuts to Qwynn and Phoebe, who were hidden underneath the dock, their arms and legs were wedged up against the support beams so that they weren't in the water.
"I can't believe that worked," Phoebe whispered to Qwynn, "That was a great idea."
"Thanks, now let's get out of here as quietly as we can."
Meanwhile, Sunny was busy getting lost in the library as Andrew tried to help her.
"Go left." Andrew told the blind Sunny.
"Okay." Sunny promptly bumped into a bookshelf. "I thought you told me to go left!"
"Sorry, I meant my left." Andrew replied as he pulled her away from the shelf.
"Oh gee, what great timing you have!" Sunny said sarcastically.
Andrew sighed. "Look, I said I was sorry, okay? I'm doing my best to help you, honestly."
"Maybe I would believe you if you didn't make me run into five bookcases, three computers, and a chair."
Andrew folded his arms. "Well what do you want me to do? You won't follow my directions!"
"I don't know." Sunny sighed. "Carry me, I guess?"
Andrew smiled at that. Cuts to his imagination where Andrew is suddenly big and strong with muscles and he's carrying Sunny on his shoulder.
"Oh Andrew," dream Sunny said, "I'm so glad I let you carry me for this challenge!"
With a deeper voice, dream Andrew says "All in a day's work ma'am" as he lets her down.
That's when dream Sunny says "Let's kiss!"
"Okay" dream Andrew says before they both kiss. Cuts back to the real world where Andrew is actually kissing a wad of gum stuck to a table.
"Andrew?" Real Sunny attempted to find him as she stumbled around.
"Yes Su…" he said before he opened his eyes. "Wah!" Andrew says out loudly.
"What happened?" Sunny said as she looked in the general direction that Andrew's voice had come from.
"Uhhhhhhh…" Andrew paused before he said "Nothing. Carrying you is definitely a good idea. I will do that now." Andrew picked up Sunny and carried her bridal style. "Oh man," Andrew said as he could feel his legs buckle. "I forgot I haven't been to the gym in a while."
"Are you sure you can do this?" Sunny asked him.
"Yes I am. It's just that you're just a bit heavier than those groceries that my mom makes me carry." Andrew replied.
"Did you just call me fat?"
Andrew's eyes widened as he realized what he just said. Also, his face turned red. "No, I mean I'm not very good at lifting things because I am fat."
"Then why did you agree to do this in the first place?"
"Because," he sighs, "I just wanted to impress you."
"Oh, I see." Sunny voluntarily gets down. ,"Look, that's nice and all, but if you can't do it, that's fine. We can just hold hands instead."
"H-Hold hands?" Andrew stuttered.
"Yeah, I mean how else am I supposed to stay out of danger?"
Andrew rubs the back of his head. "Oh yeah, riiiiiiiiiight" he says with some nervous laughter.
Confessional: Andrew
He breathed a massive sigh of relief before he admitted "Gotta say, I did not think that would end well. Maybe Sunny is more understanding than I thought."
Confessional over
Liz was busy stomping around the library, looking for those Courage clones. She had her bombs in her hands and was ready for anything.
"Oh Courage, come out, come out wherever you are!" She said as she looked underneath a table, and as soon as she said that a loud shushing noise could be heard.
"I heard that, what are you up to, you little rat?" Liz said as she stepped forward.
Just then, familiar voices start to sing, taunting Liz.
"Is thwis thwe bwest thwat u can do?"
Another Courage clone said "Then u're gwoing two hawve two bwetter than thwat."
Liz isn't scared, as she says "I'm going to beat you you'll see."
Just then, several Courage clones jump out and surround her, and they start to said "U're juwst a widdle gwirl, awnd we owffer u no swmpathy," they randomly started getting in her face then ducking as Liz tried to hit them.
Liz started to anticipate their moves and get the upper hand as she sang "anywhere you guys go doesn't even matter to me because I'm going to get you!"
"Okay, we clwear on what two dwo?" The real Courage whispered to their clone brethren. You could tell it was the real Courage because they were wearing a black necklace around their neck, whereas the others were not.
"Wes, fiwrst Stweve gowes for thwe wedhead thwen we dawgpile on them." One of the clones responded.
"Uh huh." The other clones nodded.
"Shhh, nowt so woud!" Courage said as they made the shushing gesture.
"Sowwy bwoss." The clones whispered.
The scene then flips to Atticus and Scarlett, who are monitoring everything.
"Heh, you should've gotten a haircut. I mean come on, is all that hair really necessary?" Atticus questioned Scarlett.
"Shut up!" She told him. "As if you could've done any better."
"You want me to test that theory after we get attacked by the Courage clones?" Atticus said.
"Supwise!" Just then, one of the Courage clones jumped out and attacked Scarlett.
"See, just like I said."
"Would you help me please?" A struggling Scarlett said.
"Oh, fine. I'll just…" was all Atticus could say before more Courage clones attacked both him and Scarlett. They easily overpowered the two geniuses, as there was too many of them to fight back against. They tie up Scarlett and Atticus with Scarlett's long hair.
"See, I told you!"
"Err, quiet you!" Scarlett growled at Atticus.
The scene shifts to Courage Prime grabbing a microphone "Wisten up evewywone," they addressed the contestants, "thwis is Cowage hewe and… wait why can't thwey heaw mwe?" Courage said as they looked on the screens and nobody had any reaction.
"Because you didn't press the talk button, you imbecile!" Atticus told Courage.
"Oh, thwanks!" Courage clears their throat, then presses the talk button. "Wisten up evewywone, Cowage hewe, and I'm takwing ova thwis chawange, u gwuys want mwe, cwome awnd gwet mwe!" They laughed maniacally as they pressed a random button.
Deon and Margaret had just gotten the message when they reached the top of the tent.
"Well, at least now we know where dat freakshow Courage is."
"Yeah, and that we really need to be prepared for whatever comes our way, if that nutjob Courage has taken control of this challenge now, we gotta be on the lookout." Deon said with conviction.
"Right, now let's see what's in dis tent."
Deon uses his pocket knife to cut a hole in the tent, and when they do look in they see a cloning device similar to the one that Courage found, only this one bigger, and spitting out clones of the clowns at a rapid fire pace.
"What da…" before Margaret can say anything else, her and Deon are greeted by two Courage clones that had apparently scaled the interio
clowns at a rapid fire pace.
"What da…" before Margaret can say anything else, her and Deon are greeted by two Courage clones that had apparently scaled the interior of the tent.
"Hellwo," they both said simultaneously.
Margaret punched one, but Deon grabbed the other one by the collar of its jacket and declared "Listen, Deon Blade isn't afraid of you jabroni or your stupid ass friends, now tell me OW!" Deon released his grip on them as the clone bit his arm.
Confessional: Margaret
"Well dat wasn't very manly."
Confessional over
Confessional: Deon
"Yeah, that wasn't the smartest thing in the world for me to do. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" That last part he says as he hits his forehead three times.
Confessional over
Suddenly, more Courage clones and clowns come out of the hole and quickly surround Deon and Margaret who both have their backs to each other as a decidedly Spanish guitar riff starts to play.
Parody of Smooth by Santana feat Rob Thomas
"U think u're a hawt wun" A Courage clone sang, before getting up in Deon's face, "Wike sevwel iwnches fwom thwe mwidday swun."
"I hear your words you think you can intimidate everyone but it won't work on me because I'm so cool!" Deon replied through song.
"We'll swee thwat now won't we?"
"Just shut up and let's go at it!"
"I cowldn't agwee mowre wet's juwst stawt thwis thwing!"
They commence fighting, but Margaret makes things awkward with her singing.
"So do ya think you're not good enough for me? I'd do anything ta be with ya includin' changin' my attitude because you're so smooth!"
"What?" Deon said before a clown proceeded to jump on him. After recovering from shock, he flipped the clown over and tossed it into the hole in the tent. Then he sang "No it is not that it's just I really don't feel comfortable with the way that you flirt with me and it's made me feel kinda weird yeah, I don't like it when you throw yourself on… just forget about it!"
Song over
Confessional: Margaret
"Oh my, I didn't realize dat I was scarin' Deon away with my flirt… hey wait a minute, that seems out of characta for Deon, because he's da bad guy who would love ladies throwin' demselves on him. Right?"
Confessional over
Confessional: Deon
"Crap, I just spoke my real mind to her." He facepalms himself. "I guess I gotta do something now so that she doesn't figure a few things out."
Confessional over
Meanwhile, Carter and Laurie have gotten out of the wrestling arena and are now out on the streets. Laurie is more focused on the challenge while Carter is just typing something in his computer, which is floating in mid air for some reason.
"Hey uh, why is your…"
"I hacked into this hotel and I discovered a command that makes objects float, so I used it on my laptop for convenience." Carter cut Laurie off with his answer.
"Oh, okay." Laurie then says "I wonder if you can do other stuff."
"Of course, just watch." Carter types on his computer and after a few seconds, a small rock appears out of nowhere, which falls onto Laurie's left foot.
"Ouch, hey!"
Carter just ignores her as he continues "Now watch this!" He types and a few seconds later a fire hydrant from across the street disappears then reappears right next to them.
"Woah, that's really neat. Can you get that to happen to us?" Laurie wonders.
"Huh," Carter thought about it for a second, "I mean I haven't tried it before but I guess I could." he typed into his computer, and in an instant Carter and Laurie disappeared, only to reappear on the other side of the street.
Confessional: Carter
"Ha, thanks Laurie, now I've gotta test this even more, to discover the true capabilities."
Confessional over
"Now let's see, Chris said that the first one to capture the original Courage wins, right?"
"Uh huh," Laurie nodded.
"And we know that the original Courage is where Atticus and Scarlett are, right?"
"Yep," again, Laurie nodded, "where are you going with this?"
"I'm going to win us the challenge, or have Liz win it instead," the last part Carter whispered and Laurie couldn't hear. Carter did some typing on his computer. He did some searching, and after a bit, Carter and Laurie again disappeared.
The scene shifted to the room where Courage and the clones were where suddenly, Carter and Laurie were teleported to.
"See? Easy as pie!" Carter said, which got the attention of Courage and the clones.
"Teeheehee," Courage laughed as they turned around in their chair, "Nwot swo fwast, becawse we've gowt u surrwounded!"
"Oh yeah, well we'll see about that!" Carter did some more typing on his computer, after a second, Carter, Laurie, and Courage Prime disappeared.
"Okay, the exit shouldn't be too far from here." The Courage clone says to Rival and Maria.
"G-Good," the gambler answers, "and Rival, do you see anything coming after us?"
"No, the coast is clear." Rival gave the thumbs up, which made Maria feel more at ease.
"Phew," she let out a big sigh of relief, "but what do we do now?"
"I say we go for it and…"
"Hold it right there," the Courage clone stops Rival from going any further, "if I know the others, and I do since I'm one of them, it's not going to be that easy."
"Ooh, yeah, they could be right," Maria turns to Rival and asks "What if we get attacked or something?"
"Don't worry, I'll protect you," he assured her, "Whatever it takes." He said, which got a flirty smile from Maria, though you couldn't tell because of the scarf over her mouth. She also slightly leaned in a little closer to him.
Confessional: Maria
"I don't know why, but Rival just makes me feel safe. Like really safe, and that's a really big thing for me because I haven't felt safe since before well… I'd rather not blurt that out on international television."
Confessional over
Confessional: Courage clone #1,383
"Ugh, for the love of Pete, will they just make out already? They've been doing this since we got out of that bathroom. Do they even realize that they're flirting with each other?"
Confessional over
Confessional: Rival
"You know I can't quite put my finger on it but I have a feeling that there's something that Maria is just not telling me. I can't confirm anything just yet, but there's something about her that just seems suspicious, even though she's nice it's kinda offsetting."
Confessional over
"And done," Qwynn said as he finished tying a knot, "are you done covering it up?"
"Uh huh," Phoebe gave Qwynn a thumbs up.
"Good," Qwynn wiped the sweat from his forehead, "now all we need to do is sit back and…" just then, Qwynn heard a sound, so he turned around and said "did we catch one yet?" Only to see Phoebe caught in the net trap that they had just finished setting up.
"I'm sorry, I didn't do it on purpose, I tripped on something," she explained.
Qwynn sighed. "It's okay, guess we gotta redo the trap."
As Qwynn was cutting Phoebe loose, a rather faint "teeheehee" could be heard from the bush next to them.
"What was that?" Phoebe asked.
"I dunno, but I think it came from over there," Qwynn pointed at the bush, the Courage clone moved, causing the branches to rustle.
"Did you see that?"
"I did. We should check on it, but let's be quiet so that we don't spook it."
"Got it." Phoebe whispered.
"3… 2… 1!" Both Qwynn and Phoebe poked their heads in the bush at the same time, but nothing was there.
"Dang, I really thought…"
Just then, one Courage clone bends down on their knees behind them and another one pushed them to the ground.
"WAZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Both of the Courage clones screamed as they jumped on top of Phoebe and Qwynn.
"Now, I'll twake this," the first Courage clone said as they took Qwynn's notebook.
"Send I'll twake thwat," the second one said as they swiped Phoebe's hat.
"Hey, gimme that back," Qwynn wrestled with the Courage clone over her notebook.
Phoebe tried to get her hat back, but the Courage clone was too fast for her.
"Cwome on, wet's gwo," the one with the hat said to the other Courage clone.
"Okway," the other Courage clone gave up on the notebook and left with their companion.
"My hat," Phoebe said, "they took my hat."
Qwynn sighed. "Are you sure you want it back?" He asked her. "I mean, Libby has been causing you some trouble."
"That may be true, but she is still a part of me, and I think I feel more confident as her, so that is something at least," Phoebe sighed, "so yes, I do want to get that hat back."
"Okay then, I'll do whatever it takes to get your hat back."
"You will? Even after…"
"Yes."
Confessional: Qwynn
"You know to me it sounds like Phoebe wants to be more confident, that's why she created this whole 'Libby' persona in the first place," Qwynn said as he wrote all of that down, "so even though I still have mixed feelings about her and that hat, if she thinks it will help her, then at the end of the day, I'll respect that and I'll help her get it back."
Confessional over
"Okay thanks," Phoebe wipes a tear from her eye, "I think they went that way." Phoebe and Qwynn took off in the direction that Phoebe pointed.
"Over there," they went to the tree that Qwynn saw them climb.
One of the Courage clones stuck out their tongue and spat at them. "U'll neva gwet us," they said.
"Oh yeah, well we'll see about that, Phoebe, could you give me a boost?" Phoebe got down on her hands and knees to give Qwynn a boost up the tree, which he started climbing. One of them threw an apple at Qwynn, but unphased, he said "you're going to have to do better than that!"
"Oh yweah, well how abwout thwis?" One of them pulled out a beehive, Qwynn fell after it hit his head.
"Run!" Qwynn said as the angry bees came out of the hive. "You've got anything to make them stop?"
Phoebe pulled out a jar of honey. "Just this thing that I took from breakfast this morning."
"Hmmm," Qwynn thought, "give me that, then we're heading back to that tree with those Courages."
"WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY?" Phoebe panicked.
"Trust me, it'll work."
"Oh, alright." Together they ran faster, getting a big lead on the bees before making their way back to the two Courage clones.
"Okay, now give me a boost."
"Sure," Phoebe got down again like she did before. Qwynn walked backwards a ways before stopping. He then started running, he jumped on Phoebe's back then made an even bigger leap at the tree, he then leaped back and forth between the two trees until he reached the Courage clones.
"Hey, what awre u…" before they could finish, Qwynn poured the honey on them then jumped down. The bees proceeded to attack the Courage clones and in the process, they dropped Phoebe's hat on the ground."
"There you go" Qwynn picked up the hat and gave it back to her.
"Thanks," she took it, "but I'm sorry to make you go to all that trouble just for…"
"Don't worry about it, that's what friends are for." He smiled.
"R…Really, you want to be friends, even after what you did with my hat and what happened with Libby?"
"Sure, I know we may have gotten off on the wrong foot, but if we could be friends…"
Phoebe interrupted Qwynn by hugging him. "Thank you." She whispered in Qwynn's ear as she hugged him.
Confessional: Qwynn
"Heh, gotta say that I didn't expect that reaction from Phoebe, but I just felt that she needed a friend. I still don't know what I can do about the whole Regina situation, but I'm at least trying to put my best foot forward to build a bridge between Phoebe and I, because I definitely wasn't helping her situation in the beginning."

Just then, Carter, Laurie, and Courage Prime are teleported to the library.
"Oh, now I see what you did there," Laurie said, "you teleported Courage here so that they don't have their friends with them."
"What?" Carter turned to Laurie, "oh yeah right, that's totally what I did."
Courage laughed, "When will, u lweran, I have fwiends everywhere!" After Courage said that, several Courage clones came into the frame.
Just then, Liz came onto the scene and said "Oh yeah, well so do I" she pulled some of her balloon bombs out of her pockets.
Laurie said "Come on Carter, let's get Courage before Liz!"
Liz, Laurie, and Carter with a half-hearted effort ran towards Courage, but they disappeared in a puff of smoke, when it let up, the three contestants were stuck together thanks to one of Liz's glue bombs.
The scene then shifted to Andrew and Sunny, where a stronger Andrew with big muscles was carrying her and... oh wait, that was just Andrew's imagination again. In reality, they were just holding hands like before. Andrew seemed rather nervous, and Sunny could sense this.
"Hey Andy," Sunny spoke up, "you don't have to be afraid."
"Huh who what me?" A clearly agitated Andrew responded as he turned to face her. "No, I'm not afraid. C'mon, you've gotta be kidding me."
"Your palms are sweating." The blind Sunny pointed out.
"What? No they're not, you're cra..." just then, Andrew saw Courage sneaking up behind Sunny, so he pulled her away.
"Hey, what was that for?"
"I saw one of those Courage clones."
"Oh, where?"
"Over there." Andrew pointed to where Sunny was before.
"Owuch." Courage whispered as Andrew hit them in the nose with his arm, making it bleed.
"Andrew, I can't see anything, I don't know where over there is." Sunny stated bluntly.
"Oh, u're gwonna gwet iwt," an angered Courage whispered.
"Where I just," Andrew facepalmed . "Come on , let's go." Andrew swung Sunny around.
"Ooh," she exclaimed after running into a diving Courage, "what was that?"
Just then, an annoyed Hayley appeared. She facepalmed herself. "The Bellhops took out Courage, so they win, I guess.
"Huh?" Andrew turned around and saw the knocked out Courage laying on the ground.
Maria was on her way to vote when Margaret approached her. "Come with me," she just said sternly.
"Okay," Maria was hesitant, but she followed Margaret anyway. The Mafia boss led Maria to her room.
"Sit," Margaret told Maria as she pulled up a chair for her at the table where Margaret usually did her tea parties.
Maria sat down on the chair.
"Now, tanight we're votin' for dat MMA chick Laurie," Margaret said with authority as she pointed a finger at Maria, "yagoddit?"
"But Carter…"
"No buts from you missy, or you'll be sleepin' with da fishes, capeesh?"
Maria gulped. "Uh huh, but may I ask why?"
"Because dis team phase is just about ova, and I wanna keep only da most loyal of people, and I'm not sure if I can trust Laurie, she seems ta be ratha bull headed, and da last thing I want is for people standin' up ta my authority, yagoddit?" Margaret said that last line in a rather threatening tone.
A bead of sweat dripped down from Maria's forehead. "Yes, I do get it… and just so you know Ms. Margaret, I would never question your authority."
"Good, dat's what I like ta hear. Now who are you gonna vote for tanight?"
"Laurie." Maria said without hesitation.
"Good, now ya may go."
After Maria left Margaret's room, she went to Rival's room. She knocked on the door and he answered.
"Yes?"
"We have to vote for Laurie tonight," a desperate Maria told Rival.
"Really, why?" Rival questioned, which made Maria even more nervous, which naturally, made Rival suspect something. "Did someone put you up to this?"
A tense Maria hurriedly responded "It was Mar… I mean nope, no one put me up to this. Gotta go, bye!" Maria turned around and ran away.
"Well that was odd," Rival said as he watched Maria leave.
Confessional: Margaret
"Dat bitch betta not flip on me if she knows what's good for her!"

Maria gulped. "I mean, I was going to vote for Carter, but I can't go against Margaret, I just can't!"

Confessional: Rival
"Okay, so I was going to vote for Carter, but I'm pretty sure that Maria was going to say that Margaret put her up to it, but then again, she did seem awfully desperate and Carter did blow the challenge, hmmm…" he stroked his chin.

"Terrors, here for the first time in a while."
Everyone just deadpanned back at Chris.
"Just get on with it already!" Margaret shouted.
"Alright jeez, tough crowd." Chris began the elimination ceremony. "And the first key card of the night goes to Rival!" Chris announced as Chef tossed the musician his card.
Rival perked up a bit once he caught it.
"Second one goes to Maria."
"Thank you," Maria said as she caught her card.
"Now Carter, you may have cost your team the game by teleporting Courage to the library, but surprisingly, no one voted for you, so here." Chris said.
Carter barely tried to catch his card as it was thrown to him.
Chris then turned his attention to the love triangle. "Now, it's no secret that there has been some friction between you three recently, and it has been affecting the rest of your team, but it seems that two of you in particular have been rubbing people the wrong way, so Deon, you're off the hook for this one." Chef tossed Deon his card.
Confessional: Carter
"Is it just me or did that seem slightly out of character for Chris? I mean, I half expect to say 'and that's totally awesome' after he mentioned the friction, hmmm…" he thought, "something fishy is going on here."

"The final card goes to… The final card goes to Largaret… The final card goes to Margarie…" Chris kept repeating basically the same sentence over and over as some sparks started to fly from his feet, which thankfully no one noticed. As this is going on, everyone is just sitting back and gasping as they cover their mouths.
In an instant, Hayley gets in front of Chris and she says "Alright everyone, show's over. This elimination ceremony is canceled."
"But which one of us is eliminated?" Laurie asked.
"Yeah, who do I give this card to?" Chef also asked her.
"Here's another one." Hayley hands another card to Chef, then turns to the contestants and says "Neither of you are eliminated tonight, this will go down in the books as a non elimination episode."
"What?" Laurie questions.
"Well that was anticlimactic." Margaret deadpanned.
Confessional: Carter
"Woah did Chris really malfunction? Could it be possible that he's a robot, the vote was a tie and that's why he couldn't announce who gets the last card of the night? I knew something fishy was going on here!" Carter gets out his laptop and starts typing. "Looks like I've got some research to do."

Confessional: Laurie
She stared at the camera dumbfounded for a second before she spoke. "Well… I don't know what just happened, but I'm glad I'm still in. Although, I'm kinda shocked my team almost voted me out. I mean, I know Margaret probably voted for me but I'm not sure who else did. Oh well, I just have to do my best next time and hope this doesn't boil over into the next challenge. Wish me luck!" She crossed her fingers as the confessional ended.

Confessional: Margaret
"What da hell was dat?" Margaret blinks twice before saying "Well, I'm not sure what just happened, but I'm glad ta still be in da competition, although I'm glad da merge is just around da corner, because I've gotta feeling dat I wouldn't last very long if it wasn't."

Confessional: Deon
He rubs his face with his hand. "Ugh, man what a day. I'm just glad that it's all over and Laurie is staying. Of course I'll have to find out who voted for her because the Perfect Man cannot have the Perfect Woman bein' voted out, not just as we're about to go into the merge." He starts to panic, but after a few seconds, he looks at the confessional camera and clears his throat, regaining his composure as he crosses his arms. "Of course the perfect man is not worried about losing her and… oh who am I kidding? I'm a little worried. This team is falling apart and I don't know who I can trust except for Laurie. It's just… concerning is the best way to put it."

AN: What can I say? A lot has changed in my life since I uploaded the last chapter of Hotel Madness, I broke my leg, I'm now living in a homeless shelter, my dad is in the hospital, but throughout all of it it feels good to finally get back to writing this season. Throughout this long and arduous hiatus, I've had time to think more about this season and now I can say that I have a definite set in stone elimination order planned for the rest of the season, with some wiggle room, but not until later on. Anyways, I do want to apologize for two things. First, I know that this episode wasn't up to my standards and if you liked it that's good, but the thing is that this episode was the one that going into the season I just had no ideas for. Gemini, I know in the reviews you're going to say I told you so, and I probably deserve it. The reality is that I had the challenge planned out for every episode except for this one. I thought I could do something fun with the Courage clones, and then I got the idea to bring back Atticus and have Scarlett guest star, but it just ended up being one big mess and I'm sorry about that. I almost thought about canceling the season multiple times because of this episode. At times, I thought I'd never get it done, but luckily I was able to persevere and at least put something halfway decent out, even if it wasn't as grand as I had originally planned, and second, I apologize for this being a non elimination episode, but with 22 episodes and 20 people in the cast, with two non-elim episodes already on the books, I needed at least one more non elimination, or a return, and there wasn't really anyone who I wanted to bring back that would contribute in a meaningful way, so it had to be a non elimination episode, so I figured that this would be the perfect time to reveal that Chris is a robot, which is something that I've been hinting at ever since Chris returned really. But anyway, that's all I have to say about this episode, and as for the next episode, I've decided to wait for 1 week to release it to give everyone time to read/process this episode before moving onto the next one, because it is a doozy. So, see you all next week and Daring out!
Daring's tip: The future's so bright I gotta wear shades.
