Hello, all. I'm happy you guys like this. I'm going to mostly focus on this, I think, but we'll see. Now, reviews! And of course, as always, Read and Review.
baltimorebryce: Here it is!
LightingAbyss: Yeah, that was purposeful. It'll make more sense, but there will, of course, be deeper backstory explanations later

"Ashido? Why?" Aizawa asks, leaning over the back of Midoriya's chair.
"I don't know yet. I'm gonna confirm it."
DFA: I can handle it. Any preference on method?
Buyer01765: Whatever will keep me safe.
DFA: Long range shot, in that case. Pro heroes can still move incredibly fast, no matter who they are.
Buyer01765: How long?
DFA: 700-800 Meters. I'll bring a scope for you to watch.
Buyer01765: Okay. How would you prefer payment?
DFA: Half now via a wire transfer, and half on site in cash.
Buyer01765: I'm not equipped to do that. I can pay all up front, with a stipulation that if you fail, I take it back.
"Huh. This guy really wants this done." Izuku mutters
"He's paying upfront?"
"Insane, but yes." Izuku mutters, as he agrees to the payment. As he waits, 20 Billion Yen hits his accounts not 15 seconds later.
"Holy shit. That's real." Aizawa mutters, and Izuku takes a slow breath, his heartrate bouncing around.
"Okay...Let me set a date." Izuku mutters, sending a few more messages, and confirming a date. March 30th.
"...We need to inform her."
"No." Izuku sighs, rubbing a hand down his face
"And why not?"
"I took a contract killer job for her head. She isn't going to trust me." Izuku laughs, sighing
"So what do we do? I can't not tell her. Do you even know where she lives?"
"The floor below me." Izuku scoffs, shaking his head
"You're absolutely joking." Aizawa deadpans, and Izuku shakes his head
"Sadly, no. It's a good and bad thing."
"Why?"
"Because it means I know exactly where to go to not be seen and take that shot." Izuku sighs, as he looks out towards a high building.
-DMJ-
"How long have you been checking this spot?"
"I have 29 cameras." Izuku replied, looking over the building, with a spotter scope trained on Mina Ashido's apartment, staring into her bedroom window, which, was currently empty, but it was an obvious line of sight for a rifle shot.
"Goddammit, kid. What are you gonna do?"
"Exactly what I said. I'm gonna take the fucking guys head off, make it look like a suicide, and leave his body to rot." Izuku snorts, as Aizawa kneels next to him
"I'm not looking through that scope, but jeezus, this is a good spot."
"I know. This is my backup for when someone tries to take my own head off. Good cover, heightened position, clear sightlines for me and not for them." Izuku admits, as Izuku kneels back from the scope, sitting in a deep squat, just to be sure no one saw him.
"So...you're going to off the buyer. Then what?"
"He'll have a backup plan. So I'll just have to handle that, then figure out if there's a deeper plot here." Izuku answers Aizawa, and the old pro nods
"I'll see what I can do to keep the greater heroes off your back. Anyone outside of the Golden Class agency, of course."
"All I could ask. Tell them it's a black ops counteroperation if they poke too many questions." Izuku sighs, and Aizawa nods
"I'll see what I can find out about this buyer. See what kind of security he keeps." Aizawa says, and Izuku hits him on the shoulder, standing up fully
"Let me know. I can handle anything this guy throws at me, but...it won't be easy." Izuku mutters, as he begins to plan. He needed a few things...

"MMIIIIINNNNAAAAA!" Toru Hagakure shouts, nearly tackling her best friend of the past several years, as Mina laughs. She had just gotten out of the shower, having gotten off work an hour or two ago, and had been asked by Toru if she could come and see the new apartment and deliver some news.
"HI, BABE! OH my god, how are you? How's Ojiro? You gotta tell me!" Mina says, hopping up and down
"Well..." Toru smiles, and then shows her left hand, revealing a ring
"OH MY GOD! YOU GOT ENGAGED?" Mina shouts, wrapping her friend in a huge hug, and lifting her clean off the ground
"I know! It was that weekend we went away last week! He took us to the spot of our last date, and oh my god, it was just amazing! I gotta tell you all about it!" Toru laughs, as Mina leads the woman deeper into her apartment.
The two women talked and opened a bottle of sweet wine as they both talked about how the proposal went, with both Mina and Toru cooing over certain details of the actual proposal.
As the women were catching up, there's a knock at the door.
"I got it. Might be a package. I've been ordering a lot of stuff." Mina says, and bounces over to the door. Opening in, she is met by a familiar face.
"Whatcha doing here, Jolly Green Giant?" Mina asks, and Izuku Midoriya raises an eyebrow, holding a small plate of something.
"Jolly Gre-...Nevermind. I came here to bring a housewarming gift. My kitchen isn't fully back up to functioning, but I brought you this." Midoriya says, holding out the plate.
"Oooooh. What is it?" Mina asks, taking the plate from the man
"Who is it, Mina?" Toru asks, peeking over her shoulder at the green-haired man.
"Oh. This is Izuku Midoriya. He's my upstairs neighborhood. Some hot-shot finance guy."
"Oh, hi! Are you the guy who's apartment Mina trashed?" The invisible woman asks, and Mina blushes, shoving her friend
"Toru!" Mina hisses, and Midoriya gives a rumbling laugh
"Honestly, it was more the villain that hit Freezerburn." He admits, as Toru peeks under the cover of the food
"Mochi?" Toru asks, and the man shrugs
"I learned how to make a lot of food, what can I say?"
"Right...well, thank you!" Toru says, taking the plate and running inside, as Mina stepped out into the hall, closing the door behind her.
"Seriously, how is your apartment going?"
"It's going good. Almost done, in all reality. Just need to caulk down and fix a few more things." Midoriya responds
"Well, that's good."
"How's work for you?" Midoriya asks, and Mina gives a smile
"It's Heroing. It's a lot of fun. But it's long hours and longer days."
"I can understand that."
"Mhm...Also, how do you know Bakugo?" Mina asks, and Midoriya raises an eyebrow
"Katsuki? Old friend of mine. We still keep in touch."
"He told me you beat him in a fight one time." Midoirya chuffs at that statement, a small smile on his face.
"We fought with no quirks. I wouldn't exactly call that a real fight against a pro hero."
"But you won."
"I did."
"Was it easy?"
"No. Not in the slightest."
"But you pulled it off."
"Barely, but yes."
"Do you know how insanely impressive that is?" Mina asks, and Midoriya shrugs
"I suppose so. I know he's good."
"Hm. Still. Insane. Anyway, I gotta get back to her. She'll eat everything in my apartment if I'm not careful." Mina giggles, and Midoriya gives her a small smile.
"Good luck. Be safe, as best you can." Midoriya says, walking away, leaving her in the hallway.

Izuku sat on the roof, on the night of March 30th. He was dressed in a warm black jacket, a ballistic vest underneath, and black combat pants, along with black gloves and black boots. Mina was home, sitting in her living room. The plate had a motion tracker, and when it noted motion, Izuku knew she was home. He hated this, but it was a needed caution.
Buyer01765: I'm at the base of the building.
DFA: Come up to the 25th floor with your security detail. I will meet you down there, armed.
Buyer01765: Understood.
Izuku picked up his custom-built shotgun, a 12-guage, double-barrel semi-auto, independent trigger, beast of a gun, with a custom-built grip, fit to his gloved hands. Taking a slow breath, Izuku slips on a balaclava and then a full-head black carbon ballistic helmet, lined with Kevlar, and with in-built comms, fans, along with thermal and night vision. He was no longer Izuku Midoriya. He was a contract killer. Known only as 'DFA' Death. Forage. Avenge.
Walking down three flights of stairs, Izuku walked out on the 25th floor, and sat down on a chair. This building, soon to be condemned within a few years, was fully abandoned. Thus, it was easy to bring in men who met death day by day.
After waiting, the still-functioning freight elevator dinged, and out walked the Buyer. A skinny, short, blading men dressed in a cheap suit, with beady eyes and a fidgety nature. The opposite of the men flanking him. 6 men, armed to the teeth. All in armor. Izuku had piercing slugs in one of the barrels of his shotgun on purpose.
"Are yo-"
"Yes." Izuku cut the man off, not wanting to waste time. He knew this needed to move quick. He needed to keep this man off his feet.
"...So shall we head up?" The man asks, his voice shaky.
"We can. One security member."
"No. I wi-"
"I am not going to allow an employer to be more armed than me. One." Izuku cut the man off again
"I am your employer. I set the rules." The man finally snaps
"No. You set my conditions. I need to make that shot, I set who's near me when I do." Izuku says firmly, his voice final. The man shifted uncomfortably, as the security team kept their eyes on Izuku. They were pros. Good. Made them predictable.
"...Fine. Black. With me." The man mutters, and the clear leader steps up. The black band on his grey sleeve acts as an identifier. Noted.
The three men walks to the top of the building, and Izuku opens the door to the roof, the wind making the buyer shiver.
"Spotter scope. Your man can watch me. I'll take the shot quickly." Izuku says, walking over to his rifle based on an M200 Intervention, but with a few modifiers to make it heavy with less recoil, better stability, a massive suppressor, and a digital scope. Laying down, Izuku set his cheek on the cheek riser, as the man sat on the collapsible chair with the spotter scope, as he looked down at the living room, where Mina was looking at some TV, half asleep
"Can you confirm that's the target?" Izuku asks, and the man nods
"Verbally."
"Yes." The man huffs, as Izuku sidled up to the rifle scope. He took a deep breaths, focusing in on the shot.
For 5 seconds, he stayed still, looking. A few thoughts crossed his mine. He needed to move quick. He needed to kill 'Black'. And he needed to do it...
"Take the shot. I ne-" The Buyer was cut off when Izuku rolled off his rifle, ripping out a 9mm pistol filled with hollow-point rounds, and dropped 'Black' in three shots to the face.
"Fuck! I...GET HER!" The man screeches, and Izuku feels his blood run cold. Her?
"What?" Izuku snarled, grabbing the man, who stares at him, fearfully.
"I had a backup! I couldn't trust you! There are others!" The man says, and Izuku cursed. Of course.
Putting a round into the man's knee to keep him occupied, Izuku dropped back to his rifle. Three men had entered Mina's apartment, who was dead sleep, with Rifles raised. Izuku cursed, and took a slow breath, then pulled the trigger.
A .408 Cheytac rifle flew through the air, and after a second, it impacts the front-mans head. Blood splatters on the inside of the apartment as the body drops, and Izuku quickly slams another round into the chamber via the bolt, and lets the second round rip, punching the second man in the chest. He drops. Mina wakes up, getting to her feet as he fires the third round, hitting the final man in the chest, dropping him.
With Mina now safe, Izuku turns to the buyer, knowing he only had seconds to interrogate the man before his security detail pounced on him.
"Who funded this?" Izuku snarled, pressing his pistol to the man's chest
"I-I-I did!"
"Bullshit. You're a fucking salaryman. Who. Funded. This."
"I-I d-don't know! They contacted me anonymously. They have me 40 Billion yen and told me to pay someone half to kill her! They told me to act angry!"
"You motherfucker. You're lying. You know who contacted you."
"I-i-i don't! All I know is that they wanted her dead!"
"You goddamn coward son of a bitch." Izuku growls, before standing up, leveling his pistol
"No-no, wait, let me li-" Izuku pulled the trigger four times, and the man died on the rooftop. Quickly grabbing his shotgun, Izuku turned to the stairwell. After two seconds, the door was kicked open.
Izuku pulled the trigger twice. One AP titanium core slug flew, and then one double-odd buck. The first mercenary slammed into the wall, down but not dead. Two more trigger pulls, the man stopped moving. The second man came up the stairs, firing from his assault rifle. Four more rounds, and he was on the ground, bleeding. The third man just charged. Izuku shot him. He kept moving. Steam rose from his body. A quirk. Fuck.
Throwing aside his shotgun, Izuku ripped a combat knife from his jacket, and ducked under the mercenaries punch, which slammed into the ground, cracking the roof. Ramming the knife into the man's calf, Izuku dragged it through the muscle and tendons, dropping the behemoth of the man, who is only steaming more.
Izuku spins around, and lifting the knife, rams it into the base of the mercs neck, killing him a second.
Ripping his knife out, Izuku pulls out his phone, and places a call as he lays back down on his rifle, looking at Mina, who's staring out the window
"Kid?"
"It's done. She's safe. Buyer and 7 Security for him are dead. Three entered the apartment. I got them. I also got confirmation that the buyer was funded. 40 Billion yen. He doesn't know the funder. I'm going to take his phone and the phone of the head security. Send your cleanup team. It's done." Izuku ends the call.
Quickly grabbing every shell casing, Izuku throws them all in an abandoned AC duct, before gathering his rifle, as Mina stares out her apartment, trying to find her savior.
She won't
